Bills vs Rams NFL DFS Showdown | MNF Week 5 Showdown Shippers | Picks, Plays & Process

The Short Version

Tyler Tamboline, Hoop and Title break down Bills versus Rams with DJ Moore’s status driving Buffalo’s opportunities and ownership. Josh Allen ($17,700) and Puka Nacua ($17,100) headline the captain discussion, but the show splits between concentrating exposure there and using cheaper captains to change roster construction. Kyren Williams offers a strong workload and rushing-touchdown leverage, while James Cook III fits builds where Buffalo leads and Allen misses his ceiling.

Keon Coleman ($5,600) stands out as a low-owned alternative with improving chemistry and appeal even if Moore plays. Skyler Bell’s $200 salary unlocks studs with Joshua Palmer out, but those builds need differentiation. Cheap tight ends provide additional savings, and Matthew Stafford captains work best when touchdowns spread beyond the stars. Leave salary when the lineup supports it, and do not abandon aggressive tournament construction after winning a satellite ticket.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
CAPTAIN A slate-breaking captain ceiling warrants heavy exposure, although the show was split between going overweight and using alternative captains to change construction. 15:56
CAPTAIN A leading captain choice for concentrated builds, with a clear split over whether to embrace his ownership or attack cheaper alternatives. 15:56
CAPTAIN Included in the captain pool for his touchdown ceiling, with Stafford generally paired in flex when betting on multiple receiving touchdowns. 16:23
CAPTAIN A cheaper captain option backed by encouraging comments about getting him involved, with additional upside if DJ Moore sits. 16:50
CAPTAIN A leverage captain for Buffalo-leading scripts in which he takes the rushing touchdowns from Josh Allen, though enthusiasm was split because of his price and workload. 19:06
CAPTAIN A low-owned captain alternative with improving trust from Josh Allen who allows studs around him and remains appealing if DJ Moore plays. 19:30
CAPTAIN The DraftKings captain call was split, with the positive case depending on spreading production beyond Puka Nacua; his FanDuel MVP appeal was stronger. 23:35
CORE A high-priority flex option who can succeed through passing or rushing, although some builds intentionally go underweight when another star outscores him. 24:31
VALUE At $9,000 on DraftKings, his price makes him an attractive flex quarterback, especially alongside Rams receiving captains. 24:34
CORE The preferred running back over James Cook III, supported by the stronger recent role and a less restrictive price. 31:26
VALUE A $3,800 DraftKings play who can pay off with one touchdown despite reduced playing time, but his FanDuel salary makes him a tougher click. 31:26
VALUE A cheap passing-down option who can collect catches quickly in a two-minute drive or when Buffalo trails. 31:47
CAPTAIN His dominant workload and rushing touchdowns can undercut the Rams passing-game captains, making him a strong alternative for the high-entry-fee tournament. 43:31
Playable with DJ Moore active and boosted if Moore sits, but enthusiasm was mixed rather than a strong priority. 46:10
VALUE His $200 DraftKings salary opens spending on studs with Joshua Palmer out, while a DJ Moore absence would raise both opportunity and ownership. 46:35
CORE The top Rams receiver to build around, with cheaper captains allowing him to remain in flex. 47:16
LEVERAGE Included as a lower-owned alternative to the more popular cheap plays, especially when Stafford spreads production in a captain build. 47:16
LEVERAGE A lower-owned way to differentiate popular captain builds, preferred to Jordan Whittington for downfield upside and particularly useful with Stafford at captain. 47:41
LEVERAGE An overlooked stud to incorporate into Skyler Bell builds for differentiation, despite reservations about his expensive flex salary. 50:57
LEVERAGE A preferred Buffalo receiver with improving rapport who can come at half or less of Dalton Kincaid's ownership, even with DJ Moore active. 52:44
FADE Injury and potential snap limitations make his $7,600 price unattractive compared with cheaper Buffalo alternatives. 54:42
VALUE His receiving-yardage expectation makes him look underpriced and offers a way to save salary and build differently. 55:59
VALUE His $2,600 salary and substantial playing time make him a cheap touchdown option and a way to leave salary unused. 56:23
LEVERAGE A much lower-owned pivot from Skyler Bell for 150-lineup, very large-field play only, with blocking duties limiting the receiving case. 56:23
VALUE A solid cheap tight end with Terrance Ferguson out, preferred over Tyler Higbee for the $2,000 savings. 56:49
VALUE A playable affordable tight end with Terrance Ferguson out, although Colby Parkinson offers greater savings. 56:49
VALUE A cheap tight end with recent targets who can pay off with one touchdown and fits Stafford captain builds particularly well. 57:39
Rams The defense is playable for potential sacks against Josh Allen, though overall defensive exposure remains low in this high-total game. 1:01:46
Bills The defense draws particularly little interest against the Rams offense, with an underweight stance rather than an unconditional slate-wide exclusion. 1:01:46
Preferred over Tyler Bass for his bigger leg and long-field-goal upside, but aggressive fourth-down decisions reduce overall kicker interest. 1:02:11
Less appealing than Harrison Mevis, with reduced kicker exposure discussed because both offenses may pass up field-goal attempts. 1:02:11

DFS Terms Used on This Show

Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 0:06 GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 0:58 SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 0:58 OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 9:32 FadeTo fade a player is to leave him out of your lineups on purpose, usually because you expect him to be popular or you think he is a poor play.Fade with a reason, not a feeling. If you can't say why a popular player will disappoint, you're probably just giving away points.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 9:59 LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 10:36 ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 20:33 Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 23:35 CorrelationCorrelation describes how two players' fantasy scores move together. Positively correlated players tend to have big games at the same time, usually because one player's success directly adds points for the other. When you build a tournament lineup, ask which of your players need the same thing to happen. The more of them that do, the higher your lineup's ceiling.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 33:23 ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 35:32 Min-CashA min-cash is the smallest prize in a contest, earned by finishing just inside the paid places. In tournaments it is usually a small multiple of the entry fee.Do not judge a tournament slate by how many lineups min-cashed. Track your top finishes, since that is where tournament profit actually comes from.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 35:32 Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 38:08 Balanced BuildA balanced build spreads salary fairly evenly across a lineup, using mostly mid-priced players instead of a few stars and several minimum-salary players.Go balanced when the slate lacks trustworthy cheap plays. Forcing stars and scrubs without real value just fills your lineup with players who have no role.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 39:58 Duplicate LineupsDuplicate lineups are entries in the same DFS contest with identical player selections and scoring assignments, including any multiplier positions. In standard cash-prize tournaments, these entries tie and share the combined prizes for the places they occupy.Use the actual prize table to calculate your payout in a first-place tie with two, five or ten entries. Compare those outcomes before choosing between similarly strong builds.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 42:11 Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 44:06 RakeRake is the share of entry fees the site keeps as its fee instead of paying it out as prizes. It is the gap between total entry fees and the total prize pool.Compare rake between contests you would enter anyway. A slightly higher rake can be worth it in a softer field, but when the fields look similar, take the contest that keeps less.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 59:47 PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. Tournament pivots usually seek comparable scoring upside at lower ownership, meaning fewer competing lineups use them. Before swapping, check what the replacement changes around it: your remaining salary, teammates, opposing players and available later-starting options.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 1:07:06

Clear the liftoff. What's up, everyone? Tyler Tamboline here, a.k.a. We've got the Bills at the Rams and hoop. Wasn't on the main SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗ yesterday. We had that Detroit-Arizona game. You know, title, you, Rio, all within the top. Seventeen in the Milly Maker. We just reviewed on the takedown breakdown. A lot of success for the community at Ship It Nation. But how you doing, my friend? What's going on? Yeah, doing well. Some close calls early on in the season. Someone's going to get there eventually.

1:20

And, you know, Rio had second place in the big Milly a couple weeks back.

1:26

Uh I think it was the ninth or tenth yesterday title was up there rio was up there again someone's gonna someone's gonna complete it and get to the finish line for sure a lot of good calls a lot of members having success like I mean yesterday showed just definitely got to give you guys credit you know because we we talked through this late we were trying to find spots outside of Detroit Arizona in both your main spots Kind of needed, you know, title.

1:49

You were all over the Patriots stuff. Unfortunately for me, Romeo Doubs was not a part of that. But, you know, Drake May went off. That offense went off. Pop Douglas and then Tambo on the Packers stuff. And you needed some combination of those guys, the Patriots, the Packers, and then, you know, Jameer Gibbs and that sort of thing. So you guys were all over it. That's why I love doing those shows. I always talk about it. Like, I'm not going into that.

2:17

Show Sunday morning with my mind completely made up on what I'm doing and I'm always making changes based on what you guys say what we come up with together and I changed a lot of my stuff yesterday after the show and thankfully I did because I got on to more Packers and I got on to more of the patriot stuff and it's what you needed so um you know it's just a lesson in in don't think you know everything.

2:41

Be open-minded, be willing to adjust, be willing to change. Not only DFS, obviously, in all aspects of life, but for this, it only matters for DFS. I always come to the show open-minded. I changed my stuff and it worked out well yesterday. And I hope others did as well. And yeah, we've got one more game on the slate and it's going to be a good one. Yeah, it's a really good one for sure.

2:59

I said on the takedown breakdowns, the English language is so crazy that close and close are exactly the same on paper. We've done a very good job of getting close. We got to do a better job of getting the close, right? Finalizing that thing and getting to the top. But like you said, entitle yourself. Another run at it yesterday, you had the recent close call on FanDuel in the big one as well. Fifth place, I think it was there. So we've all been hovering in our spots.

3:23

We're trying to get to the finish line completely and get the absolute ultimate shipper.

3:29

Yeah um yeah close is uh is fun but it's I mean you know what you sign up for it's a very top heavy if you don't want to play that there's plenty of single entries out there shout out to ship it I forget how we finished it ship ship it now yeah he definitely did ship it now big ones look listen to the drake may stuff put in pop Douglas I mean props to you and uh It was a hard click.

3:50

It was cheap, though. I mean, Tambo was talking about it on here, and it definitely paid off handsomely. So it was good football. I mean, two weeks ago, the week prior, I thought it was just awful football. Now, what is still awful is these coaches. And not only just the coaches. I mean, Jayden Daniels, too, and his press conference and all that, dude. It doesn't matter if the coach doesn't. I mean, you have to. Situational awareness. That was one of the most.

4:13

Horrible. Horrible things I've ever seen. Yeah. Not even taking the full accountability. Like I can guarantee a seventh grade quarterback at a random school could let you know how many timeouts and how much time's on the clock. So, I mean, yeah, some of these. I mean, that, that was absolutely horrible. I get like people want to bury the coach and probably rightfully so, but. Things are going to change as the plays goes on. And as a quarterback, you have to know that situation.

4:38

An NFL quarterback, I'm pretty sure eighth grade football teams would be able to figure out that scenario. I mean, the whole thing was absolutely insane to watch. And if I am part of that organization, high ops, someone's ass is rolling for that. Someone has to. That's inexcusable in the NFL. Somebody needs to roll in that scenario. That is horrible. That's why it happens, but it's obviously always the coach, right? But Jayden Daniels should take some accountability, like you said, for the fact of even running that.

5:08

You've got to know that stuff. Somebody said it to you earlier.

5:11

The London game had this in the morning, but I will say that Cam Little walk-off was pretty incredible you don't get those too often the kick but his I'm talking about his walk off presence of doing like he did like almost like the mcgregor like I'm the man they held him up he stares right at the camera doesn't even smile I was like man that's pretty sweet Tyler Huntley snoop last night I was worried about lamar jumping around on that ankle like just chill man I know you're pumping your boy but you're supposed to be coming back sooner than later and this is amazing to get that win the Derrick Henry

5:40

Run in off the end like that again Atlanta thought they could have done more there but I'm happy as a Ravens fan but No, I just want to say quick, how is Sirianni still have a job though? That is like two times in three weeks that you just make the most boneheaded. Another thing is we didn't even talk about it. It was the Thursday night, which when they went for it on fourth and one at the goal line, instead of going up three scores.

6:05

And I did see that analytic, which was crazy to me. I'm a big analytics guy for sure. And I guess they said it was pretty close. I still cannot wrap my head around- I think whoever's analytics model that is might need to figure some out. Eight and a half minutes? That coach is another fucking absolute moron. That guy's an idiot. And if the roles were reversed, he would have done it the wrong way the other way, too. He's just an idiot.

6:29

That is just... There was barely a few minutes left. You kicked the field goal. It was eight minutes. You're up fourteen. That means you have to recover an onside kick the other team. They got lucky. They got bailed out. Ferguson caught it with his helmet and bounced up. Every single week, I've been scratching my head over here.

6:48

Crazy yeah it's gonna be good I mean this is uh a good one tonight that we've got we'll get right into it the best part is big dale it's a free show you don't even have to come out to it but no no way anyone who watched can win and you know only so many people can win but good news is you got a good segue because we haven't even got to the marketing yet so join in big boy we've got shiver nation.com you can go over and check it out we've got the annual plans we've got the

7:12

Monthly plans content only single sport whatever you want to do the biggest thing though is Ship It Games here's something that you won't find on your other free shows or people talking about uh maybe there's some people giving away $4,000 today which by the way still isn't as much as our member is giving back to the community so shout out again to sharks who just boosted the prize pool to ship a games to $50,000 that we before in cash and prizes that, you know, nobody else is even giving away any money.

So, Lots of good stuff going on over at the nation. Appreciate you doing the volley there so I could spike it for the marketing.

8:23

We really do appreciate that. Poop, volley to you for the spike for tonight. We have a grand scheme overview needed for this one, but talk about a big boy total. I know we went through the Detroit, Arizona stuff yesterday. This is a very insane total, as well as a close spread. Bills, Rams, Josh Allen, Stafford, Puka, James Cook. DeVonta out of the mostly healthy waiting on the DJ more news, but take us into this one Palmer out, I guess, but go ahead.

8:47

I'll let you start. Yeah, I mean, great game just from an entertainment standpoint, aside from any gambling that might be going on with it. You got the Bills and you got the Rams, two teams that, you know, if you said like, OK, I could see these two teams in the Super Bowl, like that's that's legit. I mean, these both these teams are very good and they have all the superstars and most of them are healthy.

9:10

You know, we're waiting on one piece of news, DJ Moore. Um, did practice a little bit at the end of the week, but that's pretty important for the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗ for sure. I mean, um, because if he is out, I mean, there's going to be some guys on that, uh, Buffalo side that will get pretty big boost. So we'll talk about it as we go, but that's really the, the only big important news that we're waiting on, uh, for, for this slate.

9:32

He's listed as questionable. I, I'd assume we'd probably get something before inactive. We'll see. Uh, but there really hasn't been much leading up to this point, but, You got the guys, the Josh Allen, the Pukas, Davante Adams. Williams, Kyron Williams on the, the Ram side. So, so many different guys that could potentially go off. So the important conversation today is definitely, you know, what you do at the Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Full explanation ↗, because you know, Josh Allen's going to get the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗.

9:59

We know Puka is going to get the ownership and Josh Allen slates. It's hard to make a case to, to FadeTo fade a player is to leave him out of your lineups on purpose, usually because you expect him to be popular or you think he is a poor play.Fade with a reason, not a feeling. If you can't say why a popular player will disappoint, you're probably just giving away points.Full explanation ↗ them. If you're building a bunch of teams, like obviously it's a little different if you're hand-building or just building like three teams or something like that. But if you're building a portfolio of teams, a hundred and fifty, whatever it may be, like just excluding him in the captain spot is very tough because he can absolutely go off and nuke the slate.

10:21

So, you know, we know the guys in this game. And, you know, the talking point really is, you know, what do you do at at captain? And that's kind of what we'll get into first here. But really not too much more to talk about. We know these teams. There's no secrets when it comes to the Rams and the Bills.

10:36

Yeah, I'll bring this one up quick just because J-Pabs, we definitely go through all the, we're going to go through captain position by position. I should have mentioned this off the top for those joining us for the first time. Again, if you could do us a favor, hit the thumbs up, make sure you subscribe to the channel. It's free. All of our shows in here are free. So just noting it, we will talk about LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ captains.

10:52

I think there's some big conversations around the captain today, especially with Josh Allen. And there is the fourty four, forty four mega that I know some people in the community have tickets to tonight. The big it's like six hundred people or five hundred people. It's much smaller than usual, but you can win a million bucks.

11:06

In showdown tonight so something to think about there as well but title anything you want to add to what hoop just brought up and then we can get right into the captains from there yeah not really I think it's like like coop said I mean we're I'm the same way as hoop when I come into that Sunday show like I haven't built my teams I'm on all ears and I'm open to stuff and today is definitely a day I'm open to stuff I mean I think you can make a case legit for like eight captains on this slate and we do have uh cheap players as well like a stone minimum two hundred guys that are in play

11:35

Like a Skyler Bell um this is injury news with DJ Moore I wouldn't build until we get that news that's definitely gonna be pretty important but like you want to jam studs on the slate puka one of the best receivers Josh Allen the best quarterback kyron's had a great role davante you name it we do have value to make all that stuff work um so yeah I'm definitely curious who you guys take at the captain's but I think it's difficult can go a lot of ways and my plan right now is being more spread out like yesterday I had like eighty four percent beach on that captain obviously I got dusted but I don't see myself um I'm being condensed today.

12:07

I think I'll be spreading it out and just trying to play better lineups than other people and not just make huge stands with my percentages to the field is my plan right now. And I like that too. And we'll get to how you do that and what that looks like on this slate. I'll start it off hoop and then I'll kick it to you after. I'll just say this right out of the gates.

12:23

One of the things that stands out the most, we know that Josh Allen is going to be popular. We know that Puka is going to be popular and that's $17,700 and $17,100. But why is that? It's pretty easy to understand and see it as from a SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗ dynamics perspective when you have. You know, Colby Parkinson and Skylar Bell and all these other cheap options, Dawson Knox and different things that people can feel very comfortable going to Palmer out.

12:46

So then there's even some mid range guys, you know, that are Higbee's $4,400 or Coleman on the Palmer side is $5,600. So you've got where there's injuries and things like that. There's already cheaper guys. They allow you to boost that up and make that happen. So We just had this conversation on Takedown Breakdown about the Gentee news on Classic Slate. I'm going to apply it here. It's like if Mike Washington Jr.

13:08

Was in, if Gentee was out, better way to put it, and we got $4,200 Mike Washington Jr., you would have had way more lineups than we already did of Detroit, Arizona, because it now made it even easier to stack them up. Now you could have got to maybe Amon Ra instead of J-Mo or Gibbs instead of Amon Ra on some build. Like people would have just got to those over stacks even more.

13:28

I don't know what's going to be the news with DJ Moore, but like Title said, we got to wait and see. If he was somehow out here, I think you then see Josh Allen and Puka go even higher than they currently are because now those other guys become even more in play. But already, Hoop, you've got comments, you know, looking at the news here on the Skylar Moore stuff, sorry, Skylar Moore, Skylar Bell stuff that people are all excited about. You know, Joe Brady, the head coach.

13:52

Yep, he's going to be up, you know, with what he said. Also, it was good because earlier in the week, he's taking DJ Moore's plays in practice because DJ Moore has been dealing with the injury. So he's already getting acclimated with Josh Allen. He's made the most out of his opportunities. These are going to be his plays now. And then on top of that, Josh Palmer out. So, you know, Skyler Bell's two hundred bucks, but he immediately flips the bill to get.

14:14

I mean, it doesn't flip the bill, but Josh Allen's up there and a bunch of studs with him. So it's twofold for me, and I'll kick it to you, is it's going to be popular captains with guys like him and others. Even if it's not him, you could say Parkinson or those guys. But also, I think people are going to look to play cheap captains too, and they're going to flip it that way.

14:30

So where I'm going to try and live for my captain stuff and to what titled said, I'm probably going to be under on the big boys and try and live more to those middle tiers because not only do you get... Mid-range builds, let's use a guy like Shakir, right? You got Shakir up top, Josh Allen, or whoever you choose to use up top. It's going to do twofold, build you a different construction, but also probably make it so you might not need Knox, Higbee, Bell, et cetera.

14:56

So I might get to win both ways as opposed to just one way or the other. So who buck kick it to you to get your captain thoughts, but I just want to note some of those things I'm seeing right out of the gates early on.

15:07

Yeah I mean it's it's an open slate where you can really make the case for a lot of different paths a lot of different things to do uh you can definitely make the case to be go super consolidated and kind of lock in on a smaller number of guys you can make the case spread out you make the case for mid-tier because you know this could be one of those slates where uh you know four or five guys score you know twenty to twenty five fantasy points and you need them in there you just need like a cheaper captain so I think you can make the case for a lot of different things, but at the end of the day, I think you just got to pick your lane and go with it.

15:39

And I'm probably going to have a different lane than you guys have where I'm just going to go more consolidated up top. And in a game with what's the total, fifty five in this one, fifty five and a half, a big total, two offenses that can absolutely roll. We've seen scoring.

15:56

Continuously increase you know it seems like in the NFL these recent weeks I'm going heavy Josh Allen I'm going heavy puka for sure and I know they're going to be the highest zone but I can get overweight it's not about it's not about fading highest zone guys if you're making a play on them make a plan I'm getting way overweight so I want to be way over on allen I want to get way over on puka now I'm going to have to make some cuts guys I'm willing to cut and not play up top Matthews Stafford.

16:23

I'm fine just not playing Matthews Stafford. If it's Matthews Stafford captain night, then it's not going to be me. On FanDuel, it's a little bit different. The quarterbacks have an advantage, so probably have some of them there. But on DK, I can live with cutting Matthews Stafford, knowing that if Stafford usually has a good game, that means either Puka goes off or Davante Adams goes off. So I'm going to probably be out on Stafford. I'll be in on Davante Adams.

16:50

And then, like, Kyron Williams is the other guy that I want some of. So I guess really the way I'm going to get overweight on those high-end guys by probably cutting Stafford, shift some of that stuff, and then I'm going to be out on a lot of these mid-tier guys. So my guys are going to be Josh Allen, Puka, Kyron, Davante Adams. Focus on those four. And then my last guy that I'll add in, will be Kincaid. I really like Kincaid.

17:15

There's some good coach talk around him, and then he would get a big boost, obviously, if DJ Moore's ruled out. I like Kincaid either way. So I'll be on Kincaid. Two really good games to start the year. They went away from the last couple, and then there was a quote I saw. Maybe you can pull it up on the site there.

17:30

There's something along the lines where it was like, we have to get back to getting Dalton Kincaid involved in this offense and I'm going to bank on that because the dude looked really really good the first couple weeks I think they make an effort to get him involved so don't really love the James Cook stuff up top it's going to be like I said over on Josh Allen over on Puka going to have

17:53

Some Kyron Williams going to have some Devante and then probably some Kincaid as well so those are like the what is that five that I'm going to be focused on yeah no that makes sense uh title your thoughts at the Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Full explanation ↗ definitely Josh Allen definitely Puka um definitely Kyron Williams I mean one of the bigger surprises this year like they it sounded like the Rams love Blake Corman the offseason and we were gonna see good though too that was another thing we talked about early on he's looked good but Kyron has just looked so much better Yeah, I mean, now it snapped him seventy to thirteen last game.

18:26

I mean, that's that's an alpha role most Likely to score in this game at minus one sixty. When he does go off, what do we have? Twelve percent Matthews Stafford would be done. Eighteen percent Puka done. Seven percent Devante. He can slow the game down a bit. So I think Kyron, I mean, you could say the same thing for James Cook. A little harder for me to do because of his price. But he is still only five percent on there.

18:47

I mean, if you're looking at the stone right now, we have high captain like good LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ on him. I'm not sure what I'm going to do quite yet with James Cook. His role has been a little more disappointing for me, like only fifty nine percent of snaps last week, sixty seven the week prior. If they do get down in this game. You will see a good amount of Ty Johnson as the pass-catching back.

19:06

So I think when you do build James Cook captain teams, I'm going to build it where Buffalo jumps out to a little bit of a lead. And again, he does leverage off Josh Allen. If James Cook is getting the rushing touchdowns, it's not him. I get it game theory-wise. And again, I'm going to be more spread out, it sounds like, than Hoop. But trying to make stands, it would be no Stafford as much, not James Cook as much. I love Puka, always do.

19:30

Love Josh Allen, love Kyron. Good with Davante Adams. Don't love him. Don't hate him. And then Kincaid, don't mind him. And I think my really low-owned one is Keon Coleman, which people might be laughing at and stuff. I mean, he's coming off a twenty-six point outing. Seven targets. He converted six of them. One hundred sixteen yards and a touchdown. He's actually look good. And I think he's the rapport with Josh Allen. I think Josh is starting to trust him more and more as he's making plays.

19:57

And people are just I mean, it's hard to get there. $5,600 point nine four percent. We're looking at in the captain spot. I almost want DJ more to be in because Keon Coleman on my spots in the flex and that captain that he's still on the field a bunch. And I think Josh is starting to trust him. So, yeah, Keon's the one that way off the board play that, I mean, if he does what he did last week, again, that's a ceiling game.

20:19

But you can get a lot different. You can leave money with them. And then, yeah, easy to play with Josh Allen in the flex, Puka in the flex. You can jam the best plays around it for the most part. Yeah, I love the Coleman call. So you're willing to play him even if DJ Moore is in?

20:33

I almost want him to because if he's out, I think Keon gets – I think he gets the biggest probably bump, like, Shakir, Keon, the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. So I almost want him in. He's looked good this year. He's looked really good.

20:49

Well, one thing I'll say, though, like, maybe disagree slightly is that, like, not factually, because you're right, it will go up, but I'm saying I just don't know how much it can because if DJ Moore's ruled out... It won't. He's still going to be low on. Even if DJ Moore's ruled out, he's still going to be a small number up top. There's too many of those studs that are going to get all the ownerships. I think either way... I get it.

21:08

But I don't think there's any way where the ownership skyrockets on Captain Keon Coleman. That's what I mean. And he wasn't saying that anyway. So I know you're right here. So I'm just like, I know you weren't saying that. I'm saying the good news is for us, because I'm interested as well, is it really, to me, I don't think it's going to go crazy anyway. So it's kind of like you can get away with it. If more is in, it stays in check for sure.

21:28

Does it go up some? Yes, but it just can't go up enough. And part of it is that balance I talked about earlier is because now people can fit Josh Allen even easier and so on and so like, it just, they'll, they'll want to move to that. I think aside from this, so this is just a thing, but like James Cook, this example, This reminds me almost of when we just saw Bucky go off. Totally different matchup.

21:47

It's just when people just automatically rule it out because of the situation. Definitely different when Josh Allen's your quarterback versus Jalen Daniels night or whatever it was that week. But my point being, if you're only thinking it can be Josh Allen and you're thinking, look, it's a three and a half point spread it feels like people from a DFS perspective are just using the plays on the Rams and not as excited about these Bills.

22:11

The Bills have a full squad outside of the DJ more news, which we'll wait on that. I feel like they're fine. Palmer is not someone I was highly considering anyway, but it's like, it's Josh Allen. James Cook, Shakir Coleman, we'll wait on more. Bell's a cheapie. Kincaid and Knox, like they can spread it out too. So to me, I'm thinking about it. If you're trying to leverage that, I'm leveraging it the way we did it with the other night.

22:33

Remember Bucky's price was insane on FanDuel. And we're like, yeah, but at least if you're doing that, let's put them in the, let's put them in the MVP to maximize the output. If Josh Allen's not getting the tush pushes or not getting the, you know, the big boy scoring, It could be from James Cook. So I have interest in Cook.

22:49

I have interest in Williams on the other side, both running backs in this game, because it feels like people want everyone but them. And then Stafford as the quarterback at home here doesn't run, but the amount he spreads it out to these other guys, I guess it's tricky when you got Nacua and Adams, like Hoops said, it's usually one of them having the big game. But what was the guy? Mumfield last game, late touchdown, like things like that. So I don't know.

23:14

It does feel like... A man in the middle with Stafford at $13,500 only versus $17,700 or $17,100 for Puka or Allen. And he is the opposite quarterback of Allen. If Allen's going, hopefully it's because he's doing things to Stafford. And then it leverages the Nacua stuff because instead of your receiver being up top, you're flipping it.

23:35

You could even go like Stafford Adams Higbee or something like Stafford captain skip over puka and do it that way I think there's just a ton of ways to get unique up top but I'm more than Likely going to be spreading it out and not trying to get heavy on Josh Allen or puka just because I feel like those are going to put you in a yo you got to get overweight if you're doing it but I feel like that's going to put you in more positions for similar lineups in at least two or three spots Stoll got two or you still got three or four to get different, but it's, I'm going to be looking for the other builds and the different Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. 24:05

So hoop, anything else you want to add at captain? If not, you mentioned adding the Coleman stuff and waiting on that, but anything else you want to add at captain? If not talk about quarterbacks in flex and how you're using them. Yeah, I mean, not too much, you know, more to add at the captain position. You know, DJ Moore News is big for that position. And, you know, a lot of roster construction as well. In terms of quarterbacks, I mean, you know, not much more to say.

24:31

Josh Allen, if you can get him in, get him in.

24:34

I mean, I can actually think of one Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Full explanation ↗ slate in the last, I don't know, X amount of years where Josh Allen put up an absolute stinker uh it was either Monday night or Thursday night but outside of that like he's just very Likely to be in the optimal lineup if you can get him in get him in and Matthew Stafford cheap price really for a quarterback of you know of his stature I mean $9,000 for for Stafford in in the flux I mean great play if you can obviously get them in there then you know if you're playing puka captains or DeVonta adams captains You know, he's a guy that you should probably have in the flex.

25:09

So, you know, two high scoring, high upside, high floor quarterbacks here. I think, too, Title, I'll let you go into it, but just from both quarterbacks in the flex, if you're not... Basically, anything you go to that's not them, you don't have to do this. I'm just noting, if you have a receiver up top, you're probably putting the quarterback with him more often than not.

25:29

There's times, like I've talked about a bunch, where it's like you have the receiver, the running back, and then four guys on the other side, or something like a two-four build. But if you're doing it, it's very affordable tonight the minute you take Allen or Puka out of the captain. So pretty much any other captain, you could fit... Both quarterbacks. What's your thoughts on both quarterbacks when you're splitting them up? What type of game styles you're looking at?

25:49

I think that we always say like, let's look at quarterback and flex and it almost becomes pointless if we don't put a, you know, theory behind it or an actual concept of how we might be using them. Yeah, I mean, the nice thing with Josh Allen is pretty much any script he can get there because he can run, he can throw it to so many different guys. And the thing with Stafford today is the price.

26:08

Like Hoop said, $9,000. I mean, that's why we're seeing if he was priced closer, like in the $10,000 range, like this thirteen percent captain, I think would be like five or six percent. It's not everyone's favorite click to click a non running quarterback when it's Yeah, it's not – I mean, it's kind of condensed because Puka and Davante Adams are so good, but they're rotating wide receiver threes. They run a lot of tight ends that can catch the ball.

26:29

But that price tag with his ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. I'm wanting – I think because there's enough home run hitters up top, James Cook, Kyron, Puka, Davante Adams, where I'm more willing than most SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. 26:51

And it really comes down to like the James Cook stuff. If Josh Allen does fail or only scores twenty today instead of thirty, which he has done the past couple of weeks, like he hasn't hit his full ceiling. I think James Cook would be a big reason why. So when I'm not playing Josh Allen in the flex or captain, I think James Cook becomes a lot or becomes a very elite play that way. Yeah.

27:13

But yeah, I mean, unless you just think they get blown out or something. And even then, he has garbage time opportunities. So you're really just not playing them in the flex for OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗-wise, but also there's enough studs on the slate that can't outscore him in a vacuum. I will just say, yeah, too, from a Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Full explanation ↗ point, you just brought something up there. I don't think many people are going with the five ones either way tonight, and they both can do it, right?

27:34

They both can get there because if it is a condensed guy on one side, if it's just Josh Allen that's needed in the flex, and then it is Matt Stafford spreading it out or something, that could be possible, or just James Cook in the flex, and it's them spreading it. Sometimes it's not even because it's a blowout. It's because one team just keeps it more connected.

27:49

If you had Stafford and three guys that he's popping with and you got one other play and then the popular guy from the other side that's hitting, you could have that go in your favor. I just don't think many people are going to be building for that.

27:59

The other thing about the flex quarterbacks and why I mentioned this earlier is like, If you have Josh Allen in the captain and this, again, there's tons of ways to get different, leave money, find loan guys in the flex, et cetera, et cetera. There's so many ways on this slate, especially with all the options. But we always talk about this in a hundred thousand Person lineup or sorry, a hundred thousand Person tournament. And he's twenty percent up top. Let's just use twenty and make it easy.

28:22

And, you know, he's in $20,000 lineups. And then Bell is eight percent or nine percent or something. You expect them to be together more often. You kind of know what bucket you're putting yourself in just using that example. If you have a one percent Keyton Coleman up top and put Josh Allen with him, people there's not only is there four spots to go and it's only a one percent cap. You say, yeah, but everyone's going to play. Keyon Coleman has Josh Allen, right?

28:46

It's the same four spots in both. But one of them almost pinpoints you to a similar roster construction that you pretty much land in the exact same spots. When you have the balance build, you could have the cheapy but leave $4,000. It still fits the story. You could just do so many things to put yourself in a separation position. So I think that's where it becomes a little bit interesting to think about with quarterback in the flex.

29:08

And then the two fours, like I talked about earlier, where If you had, say, Puka up top and Williams in the flex, right, Kyron Williams from the same team, and you end up having Allen with three guys on the other side, and they just outdo the other guys, and Allen really crushes Stafford, and then the kind of mediocre guys just do enough to beat each other or something, you might have a lineup like that that wouldn't need Stafford in the flex.

29:35

Surprisingly, it doesn't work as often as you'd think. If I had, like, Davante Adams up top, I would probably want Stafford because it's going to be more than Likely two goal line touchdowns or something. But when you have a guy like Puka who can have ten for one forty and one or ten for one forty and zero and still be needed up top, it's not always case. We almost had it or close to it, I guess, yesterday, actually, with London. Up top, Bijan in the flex.

30:01

Huntley beat Penix Jr. And then the Penix Jr. Injury late and all that. So it was close to that. Didn't quite happen. But just noting it, there's ways like that. You can see it happen. So Hoop, I'll kick it back to you for running back, man. You mentioned the Corum stuff. I looked it up. I think it was as of last week this note came up. It said running back opportunities through four weeks. Seventy-five for Williams. Thirty-seven for Blake Corum. So...

30:28

Yeah, I don't know. Corum, he's looked good, but Kyron just looks so much better. It makes it difficult. The one thing to me when looking at these running backs is the price on James Cook in the flex at $10,600. If you're playing James Cook in the flex, you're making some pretty big sacrifices. OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ on him, we're showing twenty-eight. I think it's probably lower than that. We have Kyron at thirty-six and James Cook at twenty-eight.

30:54

I think James Cook probably ends up in the low twenties in terms of ownership. Cause you, if you play them at $10,600 and let's say you are playing some of those more expensive captains, like it's hard. You're immediately kind of strapped for cash. Just let's put this in. So if you play a Puka captain and you want James Cook in the flex, they are down to like five, five for the rest of your roster spot. So yeah, Yeah, it's a tough play.

31:26

I definitely prefer Kyron over James Cook, but I think the field's going to prefer that. I just probably won't end up having much James Cook tonight, I guess, is where I'm going with this. I'm still going to play Corum. I mean, he's $3,800. Like it's it's cheap. It's priced where one touchdown and you're good to go. I mean, he's probably on optimal if he scores a touchdown at thirty eight.

31:47

And, you know, in the past, like he's gotten entire drives where he just stays out there and they give him all the work. Um you know the the playing time's been down a little bit but He's at $3,800. One one TD is good to go. So I actually do like him because of the price tag and what I think we're going to need on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗. Ty Johnson at $3,200, I think, is a fine option.

32:09

Kind of one of those guys that can get it all in one drive. If they're two minute drill to end the half, you can pick up three catches and wouldn't be surprised there. And it's probably about it just to rank these guys based on price. Go James Cook. No, no, sorry. I'm going to go Kyron Williams, then Blake Corum, then Ty Johnson, then James Cookforth.

32:33

Yeah, just some questions in the chat, and I'll give a couple thoughts, and then I'll kick it over to you, Title. This one says, wouldn't you prefer the quarterback? Yeah, this is my case for Stafford. If you're going there, again, is it ideal? Maybe not to some. I mean, the Stone still has it looking pretty good, so I'm definitely interested in this. He does spread it out. There is lineups, especially because they have cheap options, too.

32:50

I think people assume, well, it doesn't work well because the minute I put Stafford in and Puka, well, that's the mistake. You're saying you have to put Puka in. It's actually Puka might not be having the game because you're not even putting him at the captain. So say it now out loud again. You're saying Puka's not good enough to be captain. You want Stafford. You don't have to use him next. So you can drop down and have $2,000 savings to Adams.

33:11

And then it gets cheaper after that, which means you can still get Josh Allen on the other side and not have either of those two at captain. Again, you have to look how the rest of the lineup goes, but very possible from that perspective.

33:23

Um, Alan to be paired again, we'll have to wait on the more news, but I do, I do still think that just when Pete looks Skylar Bell's currently only showing like, we don't know where that number goes yet based on the injury news on the slate, but, um, it's safe to say that in the Skylar Bell flex lineups, there's a lot of Josh Allen up top because they go together from CorrelationCorrelation describes how two players' fantasy scores move together. Positively correlated players tend to have big games at the same time, usually because one player's success directly adds points for the other. When you build a tournament lineup, ask which of your players need the same thing to happen. 33:44

Don't know if you're asking Eric, so you can reiterate in the chat. If you're saying like with no Stafford, cause that'd be different for sure. Like Puka up top in the captain you're saying, and then Allen in the flex, but I'm sure it's still very easy to get to. That's what I'm saying about a Puka, like Puka Stafford. Do you have it there? Hoop?

34:01

I don't, we don't need to share a screen, but if you put Puka in the captain and then both quarterbacks in the flex, how much money left over? I'm just, I didn't do the quick math. Josh Allen, Stafford at $4,000 per spot. So you're looking at, you know what? But I mean, it could end up being a popular sort of build if you toss Bell in there as well.

34:18

So you got the Bell at two hundred, then you're back up to $6,000 per spot.

34:22

So, I mean, Bell really doesn't throw a wrench into kind of projecting the route people go but you can kind of and like you're forced to do something like that if you play that sort of lineup and it's going to look pretty nice let's say and then you just throw in one kicker then you're back up to $7,000 range where you can play Shakir Kincaid or something like that so you know having a two hundred dollar guy definitely changes the way people are going to build lineups tonight.

34:51

Even if he doesn't, even if he's not the guy, and I think you nailed it there, he's going to probably be the guy in that spot. And again, it gets crazier if Moore is somehow out. But just noting it, like Colby Parkinson is still $2,400 or whatever. There is other options that people can go to. What I would say is this, Eric, we just had this chat on the takedown breakdown.

35:09

If you have a ticket tonight and you want it, To each their own. I'm not right or wrong, because no one knows. I'm just giving my opinion. But I would not play Puka or Josh Allen up top. I mean, you're just... You're playing with... There's guys in there that have the twenty-four lineups. They got you covered. And again, if you're getting really different with it... Sorry, I shouldn't say that. If you're playing what you're talking about, the Puka, Allen, Stafford lineup...

35:32

I would not be playing that. You're covered like twenty five, fifty to fifty times over. If a Min-CashA min-cash is the smallest prize in a contest, earned by finishing just inside the paid places. Like, Something like that. We looked it up. Yes, it was twenty six. It was crazy.

36:18

That's what we need. Like we need the higher prices like it makes it makes it more fun when you got to make sacrifices in your lineup. If you played Gibbs, you had to make sacrifices. Twenty six percent on Gibbs yesterday. I was very surprised to see that one when I opened up the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗ yesterday. Keep the price right there. I think he should be $1,000 more, but if he's only going to be twenty six percent of that price, leave it.

36:41

Leave it there. Let's keep rolling. It's better for the game. I mean, you don't want forty percent on studs and stuff like that. I mean, it's I hope I hope they continue down that path. Are we playing Gibbs at $10,000 five hundred still? Because I would in that game environment. I mean, you should have scored another touchdown. And the one thing you have been seeing a lot this year is you can ship or get close to ship with three in your lineup.

37:05

The guy that won the Mills a few weeks ago, didn't he have Dobbins in there for like three points? Even yesterday, I think Trey Harris was in one of them. Antonio Williams was in one of them. I love stuff like that. That's what you want. You know the pricing solid when you have that sort of stuff going on. Double tight end. Double tight end is a prime. They're not fixing that pricing either, though.

37:28

I said it yesterday and I'll say it again here. I don't know why I still follow underdog for all the other shit they put out, but they did post it today. And I said it yesterday is like Brock Bowers is JSN for $7,000. He has more.

37:39

Receiving yards and everything in three games than some of the biggest names in the game at wide receiver that have played all the games it's like he's just getting all the and he's sometimes they're not even using them on important drives and shit he should have more in my opinion but it's pretty crazy how some of the outputs are but you do need to find the ceilings that's also I think where we do a pretty good job of this of adapting over the years being able to be in the game for this long and super grateful that we've been able to play at a high level for this many years but It's like you got to adapt to the game.

38:08

That's why a DeMario Douglas can work. It's not results oriented. He's $3,500 and the winning. I think it was the Milly Maker. You had him with Drake May cut it off. Didn't even have Bowers, but then just stacked all the seat. It was not that crazy. It was like Warren with no doubt. Good idea. It was swift, I think, with no manung guy. All right. Not bad. Why not play a Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Full explanation ↗ to him in Watson?

38:30

I'm not on love in this lineup, but I can get to Watson who can have a ceiling across from Swift. Okay. It was like, it was all stuff like that. Likely when I'm on the, I'm not on the commander's defense and I'm trying to get a run back in that game or something like it was, it was wild to see the lineups, not as crazy as you think.

38:46

But Douglas is, if you're going to need these ceilings with the way the pricing's changed and stuff, I would do that for sure. I think that's interesting. The one thing for sure that I've noticed, like, you know, the Sim talk got really big. Well, now like the Sim talk within spread out portfolios and things like everything's getting the stuff is just getting spread out. So if you are somebody that is.

39:09

Really digging into this and building your lineups and paying attention to your exposures and things like that I think you can probably have somewhat of an advantage moving forward the reason jameer gives was twenty six percent I think yesterday was a lot of people are using these diversifiers and and whatnot and ownership's just getting spread out all over the place so I think there's an advantage moving forward like that was eye opening to me yesterday.

39:32

Gibbs at twenty six percent like the clear. I mean, just the clear best play on the slate, hands down. Nobody else was in contention. I mean, he has projected so many more points than than anyone else. I think there's opportunity moving forward. I think it's interesting too. I know it's a side note here that we're on, but it's helpful to everybody. I'm sure they're here because they play DFS. I actually thought the more eye-opening one was Jalen Warren.

39:58

He ended up being like, we got the news, Dowdle was out, we knew that. And so we're like, okay. People were playing Rowan Wilson as a cheap wide receiver. He gave you a more Balanced BuildA balanced build spreads salary fairly evenly across a lineup, using mostly mid-priced players instead of a few stars and several minimum-salary players.Go balanced when the slate lacks trustworthy cheap plays. I definitely wasn't expecting almost forty out of the guy or an eighty yard catch and run to start the game for a touchdown.

40:15

But when you had that spot, like it wasn't like all the good yesterday, there was Gibbs and And you had Swift and Allen. And sure, you can name a few more, but most of the running backs were on the road or tougher matchups or things like that. He was just in a really good spot seemingly. And I thought it was interesting that he was only nineteen. So you can still spread everything out, man. That's what that's what's that's what people are doing now.

40:39

And I think there's opportunities moving forward to take advantage of that. Yeah, definitely think that's for sure. What do you got to add here, Title, when it comes to anything else? If not, we're talking about the running back still. Yeah, yeah, nothing more to add there. Running backs, though, I like Kyron a ton. But I do agree. I didn't shit on Blake Corham, but the role hasn't been as great as I expected. But like Coop said, he's still really cheap. His props aren't too bad.

41:06

Thirty-three and a half rushing prop and plus two ninety to score, which, again, plus two ninety, his real touchdown equity might be plus four fifty. But you never know. I mean, not only just injury. I mean, if he went down Kyron did. Corham would be a complete smash. But week two, he still played forty five percent of snaps. Who knows if it's going to if week four is going to be sticky and it's going to be eighty three percent versus fifteen every single time.

41:31

But it's just the price tag with someone that is pretty good. They're favored. If they just want to pound the football, keep Josh Allen off the field, maybe we do see him get more snaps. So I do like Blake Corham a bit. And then, yeah, Ty Johnson at $3,200 as well. Not showing for much OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. If they do get behind, you're going to see him in a lot of past passing situations.

41:52

And then you can rack up full point PPR that way. He's like sixteen and a half is receiving prop. Is that great? I mean, not really. But Kobe Park is in seventeen and a half. I know Kobe Parkinson a little cheaper, but he is showing to get more ownership as well. So I do think James Cook is my least favorite as well. With all that being said, it's going to be everyone's least favorite.

42:11

He has to get squeezed, and if he does hit the winning lineup, you have chances at a lot Duplicate LineupsDuplicate lineups are entries in the same DFS contest with identical player selections and scoring assignments, including any multiplier positions. Compare those outcomes before choosing between similarly strong builds.Full explanation ↗ because that means probably Josh isn't doing it. He's outscoring Pukas or something in the world. So I get it game theory-wise. It's tough, though, at the price.

42:25

I think that's just one of those scenarios where, like, probably prefer him in the captain opposed to yeah captain opposed to the the flux because like okay if it's going to be him it's going to be him and then it really usually when it's him no one else on the bill side is is really all that needed so I'd rather just play him in the captain Well, also, too, it's just how the game plays. Your lineup should tell a story, like we always talk about.

42:49

But if they're going to be up and it's because of him, then you definitely want to have him in the captain. Because if it's just going to be up and a back-and-forth game, then you're going to start having guys like Puka and Adams racking up catches. And all of a sudden, those lineups pass you. So your lineup should not just be, I'm going to play James Cook as the LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ captain because if it's a ceiling game, it's up top.

43:09

It should also be probably the story of James Cook ends up smashing and that helps the Bills take them down and make stuff happen here. So I think it's kind of interesting from that perspective. It's also why Kyron is probably just as interesting on the other side of the captain. He's only getting like ten or eleven percent up top. And people are playing his receiver Puka. Now that could be a totally different story.

43:31

That could just be their game plan to run on the Bills. We've seen teams be able to do this at times, you know, even in the past. So I think, I think there is more to the car, the back to the guy earlier. If I, if I was in the forty four, forty four tonight with a ticket, I would probably play Kyron. I probably like Kyron the most.

43:48

And I might play some other guys there like Stafford or Cook for those two theories I just talked about earlier. But I probably like Kyron the best just because I think that's a pretty good spot at a fair ownership that you're able to still get leverage and build different ways. I'll also bring this one up quick. If you guys like this type of stuff, you can go watch the show I recorded just before this one with Belman, Takedown Breakdown.

44:06

We really go deep into it for an hour or so and we go through this stuff. But I actually don't First of all, you don't see Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. And second of all, people already had the afternoon news. So if they already had Harris in there, all this stuff, I don't think a lot of people late swap. I don't think many people late swap.

44:29

I'd say the percentage of people late swapping is, I don't even know. It's like in the single digits, I would say. What do you think it is title? But if you had to guess a hundred percent of people eligible to Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. I would probably put it at like six percent.

44:46

Now, with that being said, because of the hundred fifty maxers, a lot more than six percent of the contest. I shouldn't say a lot more, but more of that contest is late swapping individual line is because, again, if of all one fifty maxers, maybe fifty percent is doing it or something. So it makes up a larger portion of.

45:04

Uh if that makes sense but yeah I don't think many are doing it the ones that are doing it though are playing a bunch of teams um but still relative to you're saying if there's three hundred one fifty maxers on one hundred and seventy seven $76,000 Person tournament that's like a quarter of the field yeah exactly the lineups in the field so you're saying it's a different number there but yeah no it makes sense but still not not as many as you'd expect it's not going to impact OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. 45:31

Like you weren't swapping to Chargers running back. You weren't swapping to Broncos running backs. Sure, if you had Gibbs in the flex, which you obviously should have. The other thing, too, though, is like we talked about it yesterday. What would they be late swapping? The morning running backs pretty much all smashed. So it's not like you would have been like, Oh, I had a shitty morning. I got a late swap. It's like, if you just had Gibbs, yes, but which people did.

45:51

So don't get me wrong. Some did. I just don't think it's as big as we would think. So it's a great question from a DBDFS over there. We appreciate you. So let's move into the wide receiver title and I'll stay with you on this one. We talked about Puka already. We know about the DJ more stuff we're waiting on. We know Palmer is out. What else are we talking about here at the wide receiver position?

46:10

Yeah, the DJ Moore situation is very important because if he does play, it just gets more spread out. I still think Skyler Bell would – because there's no Josh Palmer, so we already do have that news. And he played sixty percent of snaps last week, so that is a pretty big void that they have to fill. And DJ Moore got hurt in that game. But I'm in on Coleman for sure. I'm in on Shakir to an extent. I don't love it. I don't hate it.

46:35

But Skylar Bell is the one at two hundred dollars. Even if DJ Moore is in, like I think Skylar Bell is more than Likely going to take the Joshua Palmer role. Whereas like Greg Dortch, who's projecting for a little bit, hardly anything like he's more of a slot guy with Shakir. Coleman's by far my favorites on the bill side. And then. Yeah, I'm going to listen to what you guys say about Skyler Bell.

46:59

Like, when you play him, again, so much like Puka at captain or Josh Allen at captain. Like, I would want to leave money. I'd want to get a five-one build maybe, like something that's going to get me different with Skyler Bell. I'm a little scared about that. As far as the Ram side, though. Puka's just the man.

47:16

He's by far my favorite, but I do think the Jordan Whittington and Mumpfield of the world, they're going to be in my pool for sure. Yeah, they're more expensive than Skyler because he's full of two hundred dollars, but Parkinson going to be higher on than both Whittington and Mumfield for only a couple hundred dollars more. People are going to want to go to the mid-tier, more like the kickers, or try and get like Ty Johnson even showing a little bit More OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗.

47:41

I think Whittington and Mumfield. Mumfield is my preferred play because he has just more downfield threat. But then I just go and look at props and it's six and a half and five and a half. So I think they're better fit in Stafford captain teams. But I mean, when we get to it, like the tight ends, I'm going to be overweight on these tight ends. We talk about the Rams all the time. They're on thirteen personnel.

48:00

I do prefer the Rams, Higbee's, Parkinson, even Davis Allen. Over them a little bit, but I'm trying to get different in the Puka builds, in the Josh Allen builds. And I do think Whittington, Mumfield's a way to do it. It's definitely Puka though. When it comes to receiver room, Keon Coleman for me. And then, yeah, I prefer these, a lot of tight ends that we're going to talk about. So I'm open to hear your guys' thoughts though. This position is pretty tough for me.

48:24

Yeah, one thing I'll say quick is I just got sold on Williams, Captain Moore, when we talked earlier. This one just sold me more on Stafford. Captains, again, for a guy that can spread it around, I know that people think you just automatically need to plug Puka in. By the way, you can. There's still more than enough savings on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. But it's like you said about the bell thing. There's only so much you can do.

48:47

Like you mentioned a five, one, that's definitely imagine you have a five, one Bills with bell there. If you do the chalkiest version of it, yes, that'll be a popular build still, because even though there's less five ones, even though there's less of bell overall, it's like, that's going to be the popular version of it, but there's five ones you could do with it with money on the table, but it's almost like any other style of build just gets.

49:05

And so I already talked about earlier with playing these receivers up top and the King Kades and the Shakir and the Coleman and the Adams and all those types of guys. I'm just going to land in a more Balanced BuildA balanced build spreads salary fairly evenly across a lineup, using mostly mid-priced players instead of a few stars and several minimum-salary players.Go balanced when the slate lacks trustworthy cheap plays. Forcing stars and scrubs without real value just fills your lineup with players who have no role.Full explanation ↗. And if he beats me, he gets me. But it's like, I think that's what's interesting about it is when you have the mump fields and when we get to the thirteen personnel, like that's the other thing you said that I was going to go to.

49:24

It's they're either going to run it a bunch, I think. And if they have success, stick with it. To me, that says Williams. You could do like a Williams captain quorum in the flex if you think you're just going to continue to do that. And then the other way is they're just having success passing it around.

49:38

And that's where I think it could be like more spread out than usual on the pukas adams mump fields Higbee's Parkinson's they use Davis Allen sometimes like who knows but it just makes it somewhat interesting to me when I think everyone's just set on allen and puka for the most part so I don't have too much else to add hoop we'll wait on the more news but take us into your thoughts at wide receiver yeah I think if you're in on the skylar bell stuff which I'm going to be you almost want dj more to play Because if DJ Moore's ruled out, then his ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Full explanation ↗ coming up, I mean, right now the projection is three.

50:14

Some places have it two, somewhere between two and three. If DJ Moore's ruled out, that's probably coming up to... What do you think, five or six, right? I mean, it's probably going to get doubled, I'd assume, is projection well, and then that means the ownership's coming up. Oh, sorry, yeah, yeah, the ownership, I thought you were saying the ownership's only going to double. No, no. Well, yeah, I think the projection doubles, and I think the ownership probably doubles as well.

50:36

So, like, if you're in on Bell, you probably just are kind of hoping that DJ Moore's in, and... Really, if DJ Moore's in and you're in on Bell, there's no way the ownership gets to a crazy number. We haven't seen these two hundred dollar plays get crazy ownership. So like one little tweak in the lineup like you guys were kind of touching on is probably enough to be a little bit different.

50:57

Be looking to leave the money on the table, you know, maybe play them with, you know, who's a stud. James Cook is probably the stud that gets overlooked the most. Probably incorporate James Cook into those teams. Just do it a little bit different if you're going to be in on the Skyler Moore stuff. The DJ Moore news is obviously huge for Shakir and Coleman. I'm in on them regardless.

51:19

If DJ Moore's ruled out, you know, the ownership is definitely going to come up on Shakir and Coleman as well. But, you know, I'm in on those guys for sure, like regardless. And both of them looked really good last week when Moore was out. And then on the – Ramside, Puka, Davante Adams, and then like Mumfield and Whittington, to me, better suited for Stafford captain teams where you just need them to spread it out.

51:46

I think it's a perfect fit if you are playing Stafford captain to include those guys because you need – You need those guys to be involved or the cheap Rams tight ends to make it work for Stafford captain. I'm not super high on it. Tambo seems to like it a little bit more, and that's what you need if you are playing those teams. You need those guys involved in the offense, and they can be.

52:08

I mean, for those guys, one fifty-yard touchdown, and they're going to be needed. Yeah, they make Stafford work. You nailed it, because that's the whole point. That's what makes Stafford at the captain work, because it also hurts the other guys. I know it seems obvious, but just noting it, because that's the point. It's like you want that fifth yarder. Well, now Puka can't get any points on that drive, because fifth plus the catch, plus the touchdown, everything, all of it just went to Mumfield, right?

52:30

Things like that. So you're looking for angles. Doesn't mean Puka can't still be in it, just the idea of it, of what's hurting the captain up top. Another thing, I like this one. Coleman, great. Again, pick your own lane. If you like Coleman versus Kincaid, that's up to you.

52:44

I'm just saying, but what you can do, and not enough people do this, is you can take a really good set of ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Full explanation ↗, like we have at Ship It Nation, and say, okay, I know that Kincaid projects more than Coleman, but I'm sold on Coleman. I think either whether Moore is in or out, I'm interested in Coleman. I think the rapport has got better. I think they're more Likely to go this route. I know he's going to be one...

53:04

Third or at least half the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ of Kincaid. The ownership stays the same. That's good too. Accurate. You don't got to change it. You could just change Coleman projection to Kincaid and Kincaid projection to Coleman. And then you shouldn't be surprised when your pool looks a lot different and more Coleman, but it's because you said that. You can do it for anybody, anywhere, anytime. You can move it around, give the points to each other because you're saying...

53:27

I'm going to take a really good set of projections, put an IKB, right? I know better. Or some say, I know ball. I'm set up on it and say, I'm going to, I'm going to switch it up a little bit. I'm going to move it this way. So definitely there's nothing wrong with doing that.

53:40

Lastly, title, I'll let you go into tight end in a second, but I want to just ask you because we've had enough conversation around Bell and Coleman and even Shakir and different guys. If DJ Moore is in, which I still think is very possible here based on practices and things like that, how much interest do you actually have in DJ Moore himself? Not much. I'm worried. I mean, he's $7,600.

54:03

So any DJ Moore team, I can go to Shakir, I can go to Coleman, I can go to Kincaid, maybe even Higbee. It feels like a spot at his price where I'm worried enough about the injury.

54:14

I think he might be limited a little bit like man he's been banged up multiple times already this year he only had limited participant practice once and I do think they trust these other guys enough and they run enough tight ends out there as well where I don't think he'd play his full amount of snaps so I feel pretty confident that I can just save money and and just drop and like get different that way just by leaving money on the table so I still prefer Coleman The nice thing is if he's in, he's going to be owned, too.

54:42

I mean, it's a name on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. He's priced $7,600. So he's going to get ownership when he's in. And I kind of agree with title. I'm I'm kind of out on him as well. So the coach speak on this was just so people know it because they like this type of stuff to round this segment out.

55:01

We'll go to tight end next was Joe Brady said DJ is a competitor and you see the difference in us with DJ out on the football field. And I think that that's natural and that's real. He's always going to do literally everything he can to be out there, not just for himself, but for his teammates. I think we owe it to him if he feels like, hey, I can go out there and I can play at the level I can.

55:21

And I can be there for my team, for my teammates. We're going to roll with that with him because he does make us better out there. So sounds like, you know, as long as he thinks he can go, by the way, that's what Genting, there's no comparison or relation, but that's what Genting ended up doing yesterday. Once they talked about it after the game and everything, he just said, I'm good enough to go. I want to be out there. Let me play.

55:39

Didn't really do much, right? Didn't really help out the situation. Dropped a critical first down there too. Like just a couple of different things that sometimes you think maybe it's just better to wait a week, but these guys are competitors. They want to be out there. Makes sense. Title, anything else to add on DJ Moore? If not, you can take us into the tight end. No, yeah, I don't love the DJ. Now, I do like this tight end position, though, on both sides.

55:59

So for Buffalo, I mean, Kincaid, we talked about it. He has the highest receiving prop. They don't have DJ Moore's prop up yet because they don't want to take the risk, I don't think. But fifty four and a half. I mean, Devante's sixty one and a half receiving yards. So that does show Kincaid underpriced and a way you can leave money and get different as well. Dawson Knox has out snapped Kincaid in three straight games.

56:23

I know he's a better blocker, but I'm definitely going to play some Dawson Knox, too, at $2,600 away. You can leave some money. Jackson Hawes. I mean, this is like the one fifty really large field stuff. Like he's the definition of just a blocker, but he's on the field. Fourteen snaps, twenty five, thirty seven. If you're trying to make a pivot from Skyler Bell, he's only four hundred more and going to be. A third, a four, something like that of the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗.

56:49

Again, most people out here are probably not playing more than twenty teams, so I wouldn't go that way, but it is worth noting, anyone that's that cheap, where everyone's just going to play one guy in the two hundred, six hundred range, he's a pivot down there. As far as the Rams side, they're still without Terrence Ferguson, It is going to be the Parkinson, Kobe Parkinson show, Tyler Higbee. I think both are solid. I prefer the savings, the $2,000 to Kobe Parkinson.

57:16

And then another really cheap value. If you want it, Davis Allen, he had three targets or two targets last game, three targets the game prior. They run a lot of third team personnel. If you're open, Stafford will get you the ball. So yeah, I'm going to be playing these tight ends because they're cheap.

57:30

They allow you to jam in the studs that you want, and they're really not getting, much ownership outside of a little bit of kobe Parkinson yeah hoop what do you got

57:39

Here at the tight end position yeah um I'm in on all these guys one that definitely stands out to me um Davis Allen he just seems to always be out there and I don't know Stafford seems to get him a little bit of something and it's just like a one touchdown and that's all you need sort of play so really like Davis Allen down there these guys are great for the quarterback captain teams whether it's the Josh Allen stuff or the matthew staff we just talked about with those cheap Rams wide receivers same thing for these Rams tight ends like Matthew Stafford captain teams you need these guys to be involved So you're going to want to play them in flux.

58:17

Obviously, Josh Allen, he can be the captain regardless of the situation. But with Matthews Stafford, he needs these guys to be involved. So I think they're fine in any format, really, but better suited for the Stafford captain teams. Yeah. Someone said Knox in the box. It's like elf on the shelf, right? Merry Christmas or happy holidays. If you get Dawson Knox in the box, it happens more than, more than you'd think though. And Josh Allen tries to do that with him.

58:42

So maybe it's a Allen Knox, Allen lineup that you need. You got Knox and Davis Allen on the other side and get the two cheapy tight end quarterbacks or a tight end touchdown. Sorry from, from their quarterbacks. But I think it is interesting that you can play You could, you could build a unique lineup tonight with multiple. Everyone's always all multiple running backs or whatever it might be. You could definitely play two tight ends tonight from certain teams here.

59:04

You know, specifically with the Stafford caps. I think it works even more, but it would definitely work on the Alan Kincaid knocks. You just talked about Kincaid prop. Especially if we get more outward, then I would actually like this even, even more pun intended, I guess. But it's like, you would get Kincaid for possibly more catches in yards, but it could be Knox who gets the touchdowns. And that's a different way to play a Josh Allen captain.

59:28

Where you're like, okay, I'm racking it up through, most people are going to have, you know, Shakir, Coleman, Skylar Bell, whoever it would be in that scenario, you'd be able to get not just Kincaid, but add Knox into the mix also. So I think that's something to think about there. And it would give you big savings for what you want to do on the other side for the Ram or Rams. That you got to play to go with it.

59:47

So not too much else for me to add there. Hoop, do you want to talk about kickers and Ds at all tonight? Someone mentioned earlier, maybe it's a no kickers, no Ds type of night. You talked about, where I want to relate it back to with you is you talked about just keeping your captains pretty tight up top. Are the kickers and Ds the RakeRake is the share of entry fees the site keeps as its fee instead of paying it out as prizes. It is the gap between total entry fees and the total prize pool.Compare rake between contests you would enter anyway. A slightly higher rake can be worth it in a softer field, but when the fields look similar, take the contest that keeps less.Full explanation ↗ a little bit where you could just see yourself way underweight or some lineups with none at all?

1:00:07

Or how are you feeling about the kickers and defenses? Yeah, I mean, I'm just... Probably not going to be on much of the defenses and whatever. I mean, if they beat me, they beat me. They're still getting some OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗. I fully understand in shootouts, defenses can still be needed. So even if you think it is high scoring, it doesn't necessarily mean that the defenses don't do something, but I'll just be under probably almost fully off and then in on the kickers.

1:00:37

But yeah, I don't know it's like these offenses nowadays are so freaking aggressive man like just so aggressive you know fourth and fours now are just like almost automatic to to go for it um I don't know so I guess maybe a little less interested in the kickers than the normal so definitely under on these and I don't know, potentially under on kickers. I'm just overall a little down. Certain teams make sense, but like these are very aggressive offenses.

1:01:07

And I don't know, I might be a little lower on I'm low. I'll be lower on kickers than I normally am. Let's put it that way. All right. Yeah. Title, what do you think with these kickers and defenses or any any thought thinking about how you might be using them when you are playing them?

1:01:22

Um I haven't I guess necessarily thought as much as like when I'm playing like I usually prefer like if I have Josh Allen or a bill at captain then I prefer the Rams kicker in the flex or vice versa because you're telling yourself that if you're playing a bill captain that they convert in the red zone more and you get that touchdown whereas you think the other team stalls so that's just like always just a but again I'd I haven't looked at data or something.

1:01:46

That's just what my brain's telling me. I'm in agreement with who – I definitely do not like the Bills defense. This defense has been really bad, and I think the Rams can do whatever they want. The Rams' defense has been a little better, and Josh Allen can hold the ball a little bit, take some sacks. So I'm fine with them. It still doesn't really feel – Very fun to roster any defense in a game that's fifty four and a half total or whatever it is.

1:02:11

But they're going to be low on is a way to get different. The kickers, I definitely prefer Mivas over Bass. He just has a lot bigger leg, some more fifty yard upside there. But I do agree with who like both these teams are going to go for it when the analytics say so. And fourth and two, fourth and three or whatever. So less interest than usual. And they're still showing ownership. So any kicker can go down to Parkinson or Higbee or whatever.

1:02:36

Dawson Knox or something like that. Ty Johnson. I think that's a way I'll be looking at it. But yeah, not the strongest takes on this position. Do you know how big Harrison Mivas' leg is? As big as his belly. Big. His popular nickname is the Thicker Kicker. With all C's. T-H-I-C-C-E-R. He's the Thicker Kicker, man. So this is the guy. Six foot, two hundred and forty five pounds. Oh, I just typed in his career long and it's only fifty two. But that's in the NFL.

1:03:07

I guess he had a sixty one yarder at Missouri. But man, it surprises me. Who is the kicker he was talking about with the size seven shoe? Aubrey. Aubrey. Yeah. Aubrey. I'm still very surprised. By that. Yeah. That's so funny.

1:03:22

The, um, the very surprise thing was, uh, Tyler Loop speaking to kickers last night, this guy, ever since he missed the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, set to go mind you Harbaugh that's what he got fired for I think it was the the the straw that broke the camel's back they say is like it was uh you could have ran another play with Derek Henry and got him a little bit closer but anyway I remember he always looked so surprised when he hits these kicks now like to you know force it or get something it's hilarious to watch but gotta have a little more confidence to be a kicker in the NFL I think just big time Yeah, tough job.

1:03:59

I mean, everyone expects you to make it, and when you don't, you'll only be remembered for that. It's crazy how that works, but it's like you do just have one job. You got to go – especially when you're a drafted kicker, like you literally got to make the kicks, and it's just – it sucks because there's a ton of pressure and all the other stuff that goes with it, and you're not expected to make them all, I guess, but it's pretty quick.

1:04:20

Look at that – what's the guy yesterday for the Giants? Mrs. Veda or whatever he is. He's the Wolverine kicker last year. Is it Veda or something? I think he's, yeah. What did he miss? Three kicks yesterday? Yeah. Was he drafted? I think he was drafted. Yeah, he was the Michigan kicker, I think, as of last year. No, he was and he wasn't. I think it was noted there yesterday. I thought somebody said that yesterday. Oh, undrafted, all right. Undrafted free agent in April.

1:04:47

Yeah, anyway, don't know how long he'll keep his, but it was bad. He's been doing so good, though. That's the key. It's a bad day for sure. All right, any FanDuel stuff that you got over there, Hoop? Yeah, it's just looking pretty similar when you're looking at the pricing and stuff. A couple that stand out, Blake Corum's, what, Tougher click where on DK, you know, falls into the box once. You're good on FanDuel. Might need more than that at seventy two.

1:05:17

So don't love that. But I got Keon Coleman $5,600 on FanDuel. I do. I like that price tag quite a bit. I mean, that's. And then there's not the cheapies aren't as appealing. You got like Mumford at $4,000 winning Whittington, $3,600. Keon Coleman is just a little more expensive than than those those guys. Skyler Bell is the minimum $1,000 on FanDuel.

1:05:40

And yeah, I guess that, yeah, the other thing I'll say is I didn't really love the Stafford captain all that much on DK. I do like it quite a bit on FanDuel, though. And James Cook, XI, too. Same thing with James Cook, XI, too. He's up there. I mean, more expensive than Kyron. Yeah, what is he? He's a XVI. Yeah, Kyron's XVI. That's pretty crazy, yeah. And Sully, no, no, no. He missed his first of his NFL career yesterday, but it wasn't his only miss.

1:06:07

He went two for five yesterday. I just looked it up to make sure I wasn't nuts. He had three misses in the week five tie, but it started with the worst timing. Like I said, it was his first miss of his NFL career, so... I mean, it's early to be calling that anyway when you're so early. But anyway, yeah, that was a good point by you, Hoop. Devante Adams over there. Talk about a guy for scoring touchdowns.

1:06:38

You know, you can get a guy two touchdowns like that at the line. So yeah, I think there's some interesting stuff on FanDuel tonight as well. Title, did anything else over there stand out for you? Just as usual, quarterbacks get a lot more OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ at MVP. While Puka won't be LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗, I think he will be lower-owned over there. Kyron, a good price tag. James Cooks going to be squeezed for sure. DJ Moore, $9,000. Kincaid, eight point $4,000. Corum, seven two.

1:07:06

All of them will be squeezed as well. Keon Coleman looks to have a great price tag. Higbee, Parkinson look good. But if you want to PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. Tournament pivots usually seek comparable scoring upside at lower ownership, meaning fewer competing lineups use them. Before swapping, check what the replacement changes around it: your remaining salary, teammates, opposing players and available later-starting options.Full explanation ↗ off of those guys, I do think Mumfield and Whittington, And Dawson Knox are all guys that are cheaper. They'll be on the field a little bit if they outscore them. In a vacuum, you can get a little difference.

1:07:26

Other than that, like Skyler Bell's $1,000 and the other pivot down there, I guess Jackson Hawes at one point $2,000 Davis Allen two two. But yes, Skyler Bell is going to be popular on FanDuel as well to jam and studs. Seems like a relatively similar SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗. This was the Skylar Bell stuff for people that wanted in the chat. It was, you know, this is what Joe Brady said.

1:07:46

I just copy and pasted it over, but they, what he said was interesting was that he was getting the DJ more stuff early in the week. So he was getting acclimated to Josh Allen already. And the Palmer, the Palmer news was already set to go. So he's, you know, he's excited for him for the opportunity. We'll see what happens. It's, first of all, does something even happen? And second of all, does that get you to a roster that gets you to the top?

1:08:09

That is also in a position you want to put yourself in where it's split up however many ways or not, or whatever you're planning to do. So know your goals, know the tournaments that you're playing in tonight, build a lineup. Somebody said earlier too, like, you know, I think it was Andrews Martinez always in here. We appreciate you said, um, this. Most people are playing one to twenty lineups. If you like this, play it.

1:08:30

If not, I wouldn't play it just because it's unique. Yeah, it'd probably be unique to put Kincaid up top, put Josh Allen in the flex, and then have Knox behind him. It would allow you to fit all the stuff on the Rams side probably that you want, but... My point also being, is that really what you want to put your money on? If it is, give her, that's your lane. If not, I would try and actually put money on something you want to put your money on.

1:08:49

And that's the mistake I said, I think a lot of people make in the megas and the stuff like that. They win their ticket in an aggressive manner because they got it for less than fifty bucks. Then they go up and play super tight. How would that work at the poker tables? You know the answer. Yeah, not too well, right? You get loose with it. You get your stack built up.

1:09:08

And then you say, oh, I'm going to go play at the bigger table where I could win more. But wait, I'm going to tighten up and play like an absolute nit. And then they know everything about me. And when I get aces cracked, I'm mad. Well, I waited until I had the best hand. Yeah. And you got smashed. So that's what happens. So it's the way it can go, guys. You're right. Good conversations over here, as usual, on a Monday. Fired up for tonight.

1:09:28

I think this is a big game. Title, do you have any other final thoughts? We could talk poker all day, I'm sure. Anything else you want to add? Yeah, no, I mean, it's cool to come on here and get an actual phenomenal football game. I mean, these two we expect to be in near the end, and it's great for DFS when there's a handful of options that you can play a captain. Like, legit, Stafford, Kyron, Puka, Davante Adams, James Cook, Josh Allen.

1:09:50

Right there, that's six, and no one would be surprised if any of those six were the highest just raw scores on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Like you said, and you can get a game that, you know, game scoring and totals and different factors. But like last night, the captains are shaking around at the end.

1:10:07

Like, Oh, if Bijan just gets this, if, um, if London catches, if Penix comes back in the game, if they're like, there's just so many things that can happen at the end of a good game. And so this one should be good for DFS and good for viewing pleasure and watching this game as well. Who final thoughts for you, man, before we get out of here.
