Mike Petta, Tyler Tamboline and Zach Trivett break down an eleven-game slate shaped by cheap quarterbacks and a deep running back pool. Christian McCaffrey ($8,000) is underpriced, with Brock Purdy and George Kittle together the preferred San Francisco construction. Drew Lock with Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a favored cheap pairing, while Daniel Jones double stacks offer a different build. Cheap quarterbacks should still be paired with pass catchers rather than played alone.
Jahmyr Gibbs ($10,000) remains worth paying for beyond the popular Malik Willis builds. The hosts disagreed on Detroit versus Miami stacks, with strong support for both passing attacks. Puka Nacua ($8,800) anchors Rams exposure and brings back affordable Jayden Daniels stacks with Antonio Williams and Chig Okonkwo. Patrick Mahomes stacks offer another balanced route. Preserve afternoon flexibility, with Trey McBride and Christian Watson discussed as alternatives to the obvious McCaffrey-to-Brock Bowers swap.
| Play | Call | The Take | At |
|---|---|---|---|
| ONE-OFF | A strong running back play in a game offering little passing-game appeal, with Denver's backfield appearing to have shifted toward him. | 11:08 | |
| ONE-OFF | Receiving involvement and a favorable matchup support some exposure at $6,500, although enthusiasm was mixed and cheaper backs compete for the roster spot. | 11:08 | |
| Broncos DST | ONE-OFF | The $3,000 defense can be paired with Jonah Coleman when avoiding Carolina pieces, while cheaper defenses attract more attention. | 12:41 |
| VALUE | The $2,900 tight end becomes attractive if Jake Ferguson misses; Ferguson playing would substantially reduce interest because their prior workload was shared. | 16:13 | |
| ONE-OFF | Use him with Dak Prescott or as the opposing piece in Colts stacks; a high-catch, high-yardage game can pay off without requiring a Prescott ceiling. | 18:20 | |
| The $7,500 price was described as affordable, but workload concerns and a 64.5-yard rushing prop pushed interest toward Indianapolis' passing game. | 20:07 | ||
| Daniel Jones + Tyler Warren + Josh Downs or Keenan Allen | IN PLAY | Use Jones at $4,700 with two pass catchers against Dallas, with CeeDee Lamb available as the bring-back and a balanced construction separating the lineup from popular cheap-receiver builds. | 20:23 |
| Javonte Williams | The $7,300 salary drew an explicit rejection in favor of passing-game exposure, but the discussion did not establish a unanimous fade and retained him as the preferred running back if choosing one from this game. | 22:22 | |
| ONE-OFF | His recent target involvement and position ahead of Kenyon Sadiq make him appealing with Garrett Wilson unavailable. | 28:41 | |
| FADE | Avoid the road quarterback against Kansas City's defense at Arrowhead. | 30:47 |
Let those thumbs go. Clear for lift off.
What's up everyone Tyler Tamboline here aka ToeTagginTambo back for another edition of Sunday shippers here on the Ship It Nation YouTube station we've got Week nine Classic ContestsNFL Classic contests use players from multiple games. Hoop, what's going on, my friend? Week nine is here. We're into it. What's going on? Yeah, excited for this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. I mean, it's solid as you can hear. Unfortunately, still battling this voice thing. So I'll keep some of my thoughts a little more limited so the voice can be preserved throughout the show. But it's a good ass slate. I mean, it's very good. And the one thing that stands out to me, which we haven't had in a while, is a solid afternoon window.
We have four solid games for the most part. I mean, there's options all over the board in the afternoon. So I think Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Read the full definition of Late Swap becomes pretty important. With that solid afternoon slate, but it's good. I mean, it's kind of what the Week of the cheap quarterbacks. There's so many cheap quarterbacks that we're going to talk about, $4,000 flat on DK.
So for me, that's the most important part of the slate, like what you do with these cheapies, especially if you're building a lot of teams today, or even, I guess, if you are hand building. I mean, they are appealing. If you go to really any set of ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections, go to quarterback, sort by value, those cheap quarterbacks are going to be at the top of the board for you. So it's an important talking point today, these cheap quarterbacks.
Yeah, definitely going to be talking a lot more about that. Maybe you won't be talking as much about anything today with that voice, but we'll get you covered here, man. We'll come back to you for the grand scheme overview title. What's going on, my friend? Another Week ready to go. Free money Sunday, Week nine. I know you'll have the props, the weather, all that stuff up. But what's happening with you, my friend? Yeah, doing great. My voice, I don't know, it sounds like hoops.
I feel fine over here, but the wife's sick. Hopefully the kid's not sick. Had a little fun Friday night, but I'm feeling great. So even if the voice doesn't sound like it. And yeah, I mean, there's cheap quarterbacks. Like Coop mentioned, which is definitely the story of the slate, $4,000, $4,000, four point one. And we don't have like the Josh Allen's of the world.
But I do think there is some upside in the $6,000 quarterback range and there's value running backs as well on this slate. So a lot of different ways you can go Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up or spend downs that majority of these positions. I think another pretty good slate. Yeah, we'll get right into it here shortly. Hoop, I'll come back to you in a second for the grand scheme overview, adding a little bit more to what you already have. We'll chime in and help you out there.
But before we do, we'll do the marketing minute. Right out of the gate, try and get it done. A lot of people wanted to join and a lot of people did join. So thank you to all those that supported and did after Rio shipped the Mills. Rio's stuff, of course, up on the site. He's got his core. He's got his value report, which is valuable each Week.
But if you want to get in, we do a rest of season package, a little bit more affordable than the rest of the industry. And it also includes playoffs and Super Bowl. So you can get in now. It's only the beginning of November. We've got three months remaining. The Super Bowl this year is on Valentine's Day. It's how everybody remembers it. So plan accordingly, by the way, for that if you have to.
But one forty nine is the rest of the season for all of our tools, data, content, getting into Ship It Games, all that and more. And then if you want to add SaberSim, it's just fifty bucks to add on. From there, you go to the site. It's very simple. No code is needed. I'm on ShibbitNation.com. You click see plans and pricing. Go down to NFL and it's the two options. I know it says these prices. It's not those prices. It's one forty nine and one ninety nine.
As soon as you click it, it will bring you into the promo and you're all good to go. If you have any questions, you can hit us up, info at shipitnation.com. If you're wondering about Ship It Games, this is the most valuable piece, in guaranteed cash and prizes. The members have been contributing like crazy lately. Shout out to everybody that's put money in with Sharks. With Nika, this Week with Phil. We've had Rick put up the fifteen hundred dollar ticket, all that.
So if you're in right now today, you can still get in right now. There's openings left in the Golden Shipper. This Week, there's another thousand dollars in cash prizes to the top three on top of the Golden Shipper tickets. And there's still plenty remaining. But in the end, we will be giving away all of these cash prizes, memberships with our partners over at SaberSim and go from there. And then lastly, our partner at DFSOS.com. You can use code SHIPIT there.
If you go down to the pricing and see, you will get it for twenty nine dollars a month as opposed to fifty nine dollars a month. The cool part of this today is if you want to get on the sweat station, we were using that last weekend beta mode when Rio was sweating it down the stretch, seeing his percentage, where he sat in Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. You can see your dupes, all that and more. A ton of research you can do over on that site as well.
But check it out if you guys want to do that. All right. Let's get back to it, boys. We are going to go to hoop. I'll go back to you if you're ready, but want to talk a little bit just about the breakdown of the grand scheme overview here on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. I know you talked about the cheap quarterbacks, lots of running back options. You can go double tight end again. Like you said, it's a really good slate. There's a lot of games.
You can't really cover them all in your builds. Even if you're hand building a Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Read the full definition of Single-Entry, it's really tough to say I'm going to get a piece from every good game. Yeah, I mean, really good SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate like we talked about a lot of high totals, a lot of high Team TotalIn NFL DFS, a team total estimates one team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It includes scoring by the whole team, not just offensive touchdowns or fantasy production.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total, a lot of different ways you can go.
But a lot of it, a lot of the conversation, I think, starts at the quarterback position because we have these really cheap quarterbacks, multiple $4,000 flat guys. I mean, some. Mid $4,000 guys, $5,000 guys, and they're, they're getting OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership. So that's one thing to definitely take note of today. When you, when you're looking at this position is man, these cheap quarterbacks are really going to gobble up some ownership, which, which means some of the spends, which we don't have a ton.
We have Brock Purdy. We have, Dak, we have Jared Goff. Their ownership is going to get sucked out a little bit. And these guys have massive team totals. Dallas, huge team total. San Fran, huge team total. And Detroit, huge team total. You know, the one thing that definitely stands out is we have it right now. No quarterback is above ten percent. And we always talk about it. Quarterback always gets spread out. But with these cheap quarterbacks, even more so today.
So really easy to make a play on some guys that you like. And we'll talk about it when we go game by game. Running back position loaded up with spends. You got Jameer Gibbs at $10,000 and then Christian McCaffrey at $8,000. Kenneth Walker at $9,000. So like ten. Nine, eight, all very appealing options as spends Christian McCaffrey is going to be the highest home because of the price tag $8,000 and they're without all their wide receivers again.
So, you know, I think he's going to kind of even take away from Jameer Gibbs, which we'll, we'll talk about when we get there, we're showing Jameer Gibbs again, under twenty five percent. Again, it's kind of like the third Week in a row where his ownership has come down a little bit for multiple reasons. Today, it's McCaffrey's price tag. And then these cheap guys, Jonah Coleman appears to have taken over the running back position in Denver. And rightfully so. He looks good.
You have Devin Singletary with Scadaboo out, Ramondre Stevenson. So there's a lot of really, really good plays at the running back position. I'd say like eight to ten strong, strong plays. Wide receiver is, I'd say, an interesting position because if you go there and kind of sort by value, there's not many guys that are going to show up as strong, strong plays today. You do have Puka at the top at $8,800. I mean, there's not much to say about Puka.
Phenomenal play. We do have some value, though. No Garrett Wilson. So we have a couple of Jets guys. Washington's dinged up. So it's Antonio Williams. But we have spends as well. You got JSN. You have CD. You have Amon Ra. I think all solid options today, which is, you know.
Let's see we're showing all those guys around fifteen percent after puka so uh interesting uh tight end though probably the weakest tight end has looked in a while there's not we I mean tight ends been loaded I think basically all season long you have Kittle and then after that nothing feels super comfortable so tight end I think is another very important talking point on the slate again if you go in and kind of sort by value Kittle is going to pop off the page And then really nothing else behind him.
So it is a really interesting position. But yeah, it's kind of where we're at. And again, I think the most important part is what you do with these cheap quarterbacks today. Yeah, and we're going to go to that when we go game by game title. I'll come to you in a second just for any quick off-the-top weather or things you want to talk about, and then we'll get into the first game.
But Nick said, you need to put a mask on to watch this show today. I have a voice. I am not sick. It sounds like these guys are a bit under the weather, but I promise you, you will feel sick when I tell you the quarterbacks that I'm on today because it's not a good scene for what I'm doing over here. I can tell you that, but I feel good. I feel good on both the health fronts.
And what I'm doing with my DFS play this Week but title I'll kick it over to you man anything you want to add to hoops grand scheme overview we'll get to most of the stuff during the games but anything with the weather that you see out there and then obviously we'll have props within the games No, green everywhere for weather. So that's perfect. Don't have to spend any more time on that. And, yeah, as always, Hoopa, a great breakdown.
When you have $4,000 options viable at quarterback and then you have a six point six golf, six, a pretty deck and multiple four or mid $6,000's. That's a $2,500 gap roughly that I mean that your roster is going to look a lot different whether you punt or go up. But that's what we like because ownership is getting spread out at quarterback for the most part. Running back's absolutely loaded. Tight end, like Coop mentioned, is definitely the toughest.
It will consolidate around George Kittle. Otherwise, most people will punt. There's still at least Brock Bowers and Trey McBride on the slate, though. If you do want to Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up to be ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Read the full definition of Contrarian. So, yeah, it sounds like you're dialed in on this slate. So I'm all ears, Tambo, and hearing what you got to say. You ain't going to want to be hearing it when we get there, but it's good. We'll get there. I think people will be very surprised, but let's hop into it then.
And Hoop, I'll start with you. We got the first game right off the bat is Broncos at the Panthers. Looks like Jonah Coleman, Hubbard, maybe those guys getting a little bit of love, but these quarterbacks mostly untouched, not much interest in this game. Maybe the Broncos D, Panthers D a little bit, but yeah, for the most part, it's running back and defense. Any thoughts on this one? Yeah, it's going to be a pretty quick one out of the gate.
I mean, this is We have a lot of really good games on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate, and there's going to be a lot of appeal in most spots. But right here, there's just not much. Broncos continue to be a very difficult team to not only play, but play against in fantasy. There's just not much there. Coleman, great play. I think you can play Hubbard on the other side. A lot of catches. I think he had like eight targets or something last game, so he can get there.
But outside of that, there's just not much.
And even if you do want to go to the Broncos, they added Pat Bryant back, which is – great for pap ryan and my best ball team's gonna have a shit ton of pap ryan but for this game it's just another weapon for bo nicks to throw the ball to and they already have a ton of them so um not very appealing and then on the panther side um you know not interested in really the the Panthers passing attack it's just going to be Coleman and then I'll have some Hubbard and that's it in this game Pretty quick for me too, Tide.
I'll kick it over to you. But I've got Coleman, Hubbard. Then, you know, when I'm not on those two, I'd be fine with like a Waddle or a Coker. Don't love that, like you said, the Pat Bryant stuff comes back in. But Waddle, I think, is still affordable. FanDuel may be better because if he gets that touchdown and does the Waddle or something like that, he's $6,000. Over there, Coker, cheaper on FanDuel than DraftKings.
I know we mostly talk DraftKings, but just that's one. Those are two notable things, at least in this game, where the running backs get more expensive by almost a thousand. Those two receivers are kind of touchdown guys or can be, and that's the case that I want over there. Broncos D is interesting because most people are on the Saints team. And on the Eagles or Giants that are just below them.
And you can get the Broncos at $3,000 with Jonah Coleman in some spots as well. If you're not playing those Panthers guys, but what do you got here with this game? Yeah, similar to you guys. Not much interest. Coleman definitely looks like the good one. Don't mind Broncos defense as well for the point you just made, Bryce Young. I mean, it was just a bit ago when the Bucs stomped him and were optimal against this Panthers offense. So, yeah, don't mind Coleman.
Don't mind Broncos D. Chuba on the other side, I'm indifferent to. Like, he's showing to get some OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership. Minus one-twenty to score. Matchup on the stone looks good. You just initially think on paper it's not, but... Home dogs, I don't know, pretty indifferent to the Chubb stuff. Coleman, for sure, Broncos D fine. And if I had to pick a receiver, it's Waddle because he's really cheap at $5,700. But nothing he's done this year has made me excited to click him.
Yeah, the Hubbard thing, I guess, is just somewhat interesting because people can't really get it. It's just too pricey. People will want, we'll get to it later, but Devin Singletary, Jonah Coleman, who we just talked about, is on the opposite side of him. Ollie Gordon, when we get there in a little bit. And, you know, just some different options. Woody Marks, we didn't mention yet. We're going to be talking about Butkins later on. Bunskins, we'll get to. Quinshawn over there. But we'll see.
But there's other options for sure that are cheaper. And the way they priced... Hubbard is at, I think, $6,500. Right. So they're kind of like, yeah, you got to pay a little bit more to get there. But if you can, it is a great matchup on paper. And if you've got the game going that way, they are the underdog at home under it's three points. Like it could obviously flip their at home home script. Anything could happen.
And if you do that, that would make some sense to me there. I think it's worth a shot, at least in some. So. All right. This is where I said it's going to get ugly, guys. What about this one? New nickname, Danny Millions today. Daniel Jones on the Mills. Hang on. My ears just perked up a little bit. Well, it's going to be a hard sell, I think, for anybody and everybody, because we've gone from pennies to dimes to dollars. We tried a bunch of stuff.
If we're going to get there, though, what I will say, and I talked about this yesterday on Leverage Lane with Blickle, not specifically related to Daniels Jones, but if it's going to be this game, I kind of want to stack it up. And I know the DAC side is very stackable, too. But I would want to be pretty much heavy on the Colts if I'm doing this. I like Lamb quite a bit on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. But I do think that if you go like, you know, Allen, Downs, Warren, like there's a lot of options you can go. This is still a good potential for back and forth. The both pass and rush D for the Cowboys has pretty much been non-existent. It's got to get there, but I'm going to play it for if it gets there. That's how I'm looking at this. So I really do think this is an interesting spot.
And then there's a couple more on this slate that I'll get hyped up about as well. But Hoop, you said your ears perked up. So good, bad, or the ugly, or all three? Because it's going to be bad, I think. But we'll see. You don't need to twist my arm to get me onto some Danny Millions, which I like. I like the upgraded name, too. I like the Dallas side, obviously. We talked about the cheap quarterbacks, right? I want to Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. I want to get Dak. I want to get Jared off. I want to get...
Brock Purdy those are kind of the spends on the slate and their OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership is being held in check because all these cheap quarterbacks so Dallas side is great to me I mean it's clearly CeeDee Lamb one and then everything else in this offense so it's like really easy on the Dallas side you know Ferguson I'm assuming is out and then you get it even if he's in like span forward is entitled you're always good with the snaps maybe you can pull it up when it's your turn but like He's looks much better than Ferguson.
They're using them. It seems like more than Ferguson. So you got a $2,900 tight end. And then, you know, if you are building a lot of teams, Pickens has had the Q tag all Week. His ownership is going to be held in check. And again, this is if you're building a lot, because I definitely prefer C.D. Or span forward over or both together over going like a Pickens route.
Just cause I don't know, like to me, it hasn't really been much for Pickens this year. So I love that side. And I was debating like, okay, do I play any guys on the Colt side?
And, you know, I, I, I don't know you haven't really said much too much about you haven't gone into detail but I think I might be interested the thing I struggle with right is dead teams teams that are like we're done we're trading everyone blah blah blah I struggle with that but then you look at this game it's got a fifty two total Colts are projected to score Twenty three points. That's a legit number.
I mean, twenty three real life points is a legit number. It's in a dome here. You know, maybe maybe I do get on the cold side. I was back and forth like I had in my build some Tyler Warren, some Keenan Allen. I might be interested in the cold side now, so I'm interested to hear more. Yeah, I'll add more than all that title. Go ahead.
Cause I know you pulled some stuff up, but just to add some extra context to it, like you said, a couple of things about one in the dome too. It's not, people always talk about like, oh, but there's no way they can get there. All this stuff we're playing for when they get there. That's it. Like, so I'm building accordingly. That's the whole point with it.
But the idea being that, you know, the stuff on the other side, it's going to be way easier and I'll have this too, but like you can go Dak, Lamb, Flournoy and Spanford and then use somebody on the other side as a Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back. You can do that. But I like the Balanced BuildA balanced build spreads salary fairly evenly across a lineup, using mostly mid-priced players instead of a few stars and several minimum-salary players.Go balanced when the slate lacks trustworthy cheap plays. Forcing stars and scrubs without real value just fills your lineup with players who have no role.Read the full definition of Balanced Build. That's another thing about this slate. A lot of the stuff is going to lean towards a lot, like look right where Downs and Allen are. I'll add two more points.
The first one is Downs and Allen. That is right where Adonai Mitchell is. That is right where Antonio Williams is. They're all great plays on paper. They got injuries there. They got all kinds of stuff. But if you want to have a different build and balance, look at Warren. How can people, people are talking about him plenty. They know it's a good spot and it makes sense. But when you've got Kittle, And then other guys to account for, it may not land there as much.
So if I'm going to land there, it's going to be going heavy on that side. I really like Lamb on the other side. And yes, I would prefer him with Dak, but we've seen plenty of Lamb games too, where it's like ten for one, forty and zero. Still a really good game. Doesn't boost Dak. Dak's expensive on this slate, et cetera, et cetera. And then the second point is the trade factor that you talked about. Even the chat's talking about it some.
I think Taylor... Look, opportunity cost is the only real issue there. He's $7,500. He's affordable. They're still running him out there. They have not found a trade partner. They've been pretty open and vocal about that, that like it kind of is what it is. But I think the biggest misconception and the one people that are the overrated one, if you will, is Josh Downs. They're not trying to like this guy asked for a trade. You can ask for whatever you want.
You could say how you feel, but his job and he's paid is to get out on the field and play. And if they call the play to him, you think he's going to want to look bad and drop the ball? Like what, what's he going to do? He's going to catch the ball and try and perform. So I think it's, Week when people said about, you know, you can't, Brock Bowers don't want to use Cousins. Like they might play Mendoza.
They came out and said, no, Cousins is our guy. He came out and played like Cousins can play when he plays well. And it worked out for some until obviously that since he Tennessee game went off. So I think it's like just things like that. The trade stuff gets so overhyped and whatever I'm playing for the ceiling here. I think the spot is at least interesting. Allen can get twenty downs, can get twenty. Warren can get twenty. Jones can get twenty to thirty.
That's how I'm playing it. And if it's enough, it's enough. If it's not, we'll see. But I like that method to get to this game and play it differently. Title, what do you got? Yeah, I don't hate it. I'm actually going to play some Danny... I'll say dollars for you guys. Danny Dimes. I mean, Dimes is better. One tenth of a dollar. That's what he is nowadays. So not pennies today, but he's $4,700.
I guess he doesn't necessarily need to be dollars or millions or any of that. And the thing is, like JT, I am I mean, the props show at sixty four and a half is rushing prop. Like the props are showing that they don't think it's going to be a full workload of JT. I don't think it's going to be a full workload of.
Of JT but that makes me more interested in the passing game and Jones and it's clear where you go Tyler Warren looks like one of the better tight end plays on the slate then you have either Keenan or Josh Downs and I probably want to pair them most times with two of them would be fine I guess if you just single stack it to a Warren but with the lack of mobility from Daniels Jones and the pricing I think I just want to be like in on it.
Like you're saying, maybe Daniels Jones does that three touchdowns or two for two hundred eighty yards. And that's enough at $4,700. And also kind of what Jones does depends on what a shooter do. What is Drew Locke do if they're getting eleven points and Daniels Jones gets seventeen or eighteen? That could be enough right there. So it's not like you completely need a CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. It describes a big performance that could happen when things go well, not the expected score or an absolute maximum.Describe what must happen for each player to have a huge game. Then check whether those conditions help or hurt the other players in your lineup.Read the full definition of Ceiling game. So I'm in on some Daniels Jones to the surprise of probably many.
Other side, yeah, part of the reason to play the Daniels Jones stuff is to get seedy. I'm still going to play Pickens. It feels like, I mean, when no one wants to play him in such a great game environment, that's when I will jump on. Like, I do not believe his ten percent ownership. I think it's going to be probably somewhere around six. He has a big play upside. One play, seventy yards, touchdown, get the bonus. And $6,300 is cheap for him.
Flournoy, four straight games. He's been in double digits. I'm going to keep playing him. He's cheap. Another easy way to get exposure to this game. Javonte is the one I'm out on. So I'm out on these two running backs. I'm hoping it's going to be through the air in this game. Seventy three is just a big boy price tag. A lot of other running backs when I spend up, I feel more confident with. Again, ownership will follow, but I can get different elsewhere.
And the span forward stuff. So, yeah, you guys think Ferguson like earlier in the Week, it seemed like he was going to miss now. But regardless what the snaps were, like Ferg got hurt really early in the last game. Spanford played pretty much every snap after that. Five targets converted on them. Played solid. Nothing you would need, but you like the usage. Ferg is in the game before, though, when he was in. It was like fifty five, fifty five, roughly. So if Ferg's in.
It hurts a little bit. Eleven games, a big main slate. You're going to need some at tight end. So if Ferg's in, I probably don't get much span forward. If he's out, he is definitely someone I have interest there. But give me the passing attack on both sides. That's how I'm looking at it, too. I will add, like, I get that if I was on one of these running backs, it would be Javonte. People were all over him last Week. The chat's talking about it now.
I brought that up yesterday, too. I prefer Lamb, obviously, like I said, in the way it goes. But that's the other thing, too. It's like a double entendre of what you just talked about. It's like, what does Locke, when we get there, what does Milton, what does Shadur, what do all these other guys do? True and accurate, a hundred percent. That's the key here. And $4,700 is just a little bit more. But we know who this guy is. We've seen it.
We know who the receivers are. We can kind of put it all together in a game that is going a little bit overlooked because of injuries and things like that and trade talks and factors there. But also and Vegas or the totals don't see it that way at all because they don't give a shit.
About all that stuff they just build a court like it just gets put out accordingly but the other note is the especially the Jones side the Jones side builds to alleviate yourself from those other Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Read the full definition of Roster Construction as well talk more about that in a minute because you know unfortunately these are going to go back to back but just to note it this spot when you do it you're not necessarily going to be able to get to um McCaffrey or maybe you will but I've said like Puka jsn the other lineups with antonio
Williams and adenai Mitchell and all the other stuff that fits you won't get to the same build so you may be able to outdo them with raw points and a big upside game from a quarterback we actually know something about and not just seeing one game here one game there etc but also you'll have a different build and that's what I'm looking at is like twofold for a way to separate I talked about it yesterday playing different without getting stupid obviously it'll be stupid egg on the face if it doesn't do well but that's not what I care about I can only control what I do before the slate starts and how I'm thinking about it as a whole so all right we can move on and
It's going to be a fast moving train here guys we are going from danny millions to Milly making my homes and then going away from never my homes. This thought, I do not believe the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. I know that people are saying, look, my homes is still going to be ten percent. I can't believe this, et cetera, et cetera. I don't see like where else is it coming from? I don't see people on Rice.
I don't see people on Kelley when they're on Kittle. I don't see people on Worthy. I don't see anything on anybody. And they have like a thirty point Team TotalIn NFL DFS, a team total estimates one team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total almost here going against the Jets. And so you people want to play Adonai Mitchell, et cetera, et cetera. You guys know I'm literally never on here making a case for Patrick Mahomes.
Even the Week earlier this season, it was because Walker was chalk, and I kind of just glazed it and said, like, you know, somewhat Mahomes, maybe Mahomes. And, like, we did do it a little bit and hated ourselves for it. But... This Week's different. I see it as you want to play. People want to play Mitchell as a One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off, mostly. And, you know, with Kittle, you're not going to get to Kelley as much.
With Rice being at $6,400, it's just hard to get to that price tag. And, oh, he's going bankrupt. And that means nothing on a football field. Like, I don't care about any of that stuff. So I don't know, Hoop. Another tough sell, probably. But I never do this. And it's popping up this Week. So I had to put him in like the very bottom of the Slate Station with a little shh.
On there just so didn't get too crazy but what do you think yeah it's like bizarro world today you're you know kind of pumping Daniel Jones and I'm gonna go opposite on Patrick Mahomes which is wild to me that I'm gonna play Patrick Mahomes in my one fifty like he's definitely in there The issue I have is there's like four to five quarterbacks very similar as Patrick Mahomes today. And you aren't believing the ownership is going to get there.
I think it is just because – Just on him. I'm saying just to be clear so you can carry on. I just don't believe it. Usually we see receivers with ownership and not the quarterback. Yeah. I don't understand today how it's on the quarterback, but not on everybody. And I don't know how it gets there. Like, I just don't. I mean, a lot of everyone showing like ten percent basically on my homes.
And he's like the, I guess, highest owned quarterback on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate or in the conversation to be the highest, which means nothing on this slate. It's only ten percent. So it doesn't matter. But, like, again, I'm playing him, don't get me wrong, but I prefer the other guys over him. Dak, I prefer over him. Jared Goff, I prefer over him. And for me, it's really just because of that ownership number.
So if you are believing the ownership number, then, you know, you might side with me. If you're not believing, you might kind of side with Tambo a little bit. But I'm going to play it, right? And, you know, you know the guy I'm going to, Rashee Rice, and, you know, But he had seven. I got to pull it up and then title can stomp on me right after. But let's see. He's yeah, I mean, seven, seven for fifty three and a touchdown.
Like that's not crazy, but that's eighteen Fantasy PointsFantasy points are the score a DFS contest assigns to a player or team defense by converting real sports statistics and results through its scoring rules. Your lineup's total determines your contest ranking. Before trusting an average, check which games it includes and whether the player's role has changed. Separate repeatable opportunities from a few unusually productive games.Read the full definition of Fantasy Points. Like that's that's a good performance at $6,400. So. I'm good with him. I'm good with Kelley as well. Tight ends. We Kelsey's look good this year. I'd say it probably looks better than he did last season. And then Kenneth Walker, I think has to get squeezed a little bit. We talked about it with Gibbs, with McCaffrey, you know, they're all a thousand dollars apart.
Gibbs, $10,000 Walker, $9,000 McCaffrey, $8,000 McCaffrey is going to get, a large chunk of that ownership. We've got, you know, Kenneth Walker, you know, Penn, eleven, twelve percent. That's a really good spot for him. They're projected to score thirty. And then on the Jets side, you know, Mitchell fine, but I think I like Cooper over Mitchell at lower ownership. I mean, I did look at the props actually before the show, and it's like very similar between these two.
Mitchell, Cooper, very similar, but Mitchell getting way more ownership because he's what? Four hundred dollars cheaper that's nothing so um yeah in on these guys in on the the Mahomes stuff but not super excited about it I prefer the other Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up quarterbacks over him today You can go to the other side too in this game. You could go Geno, Mitchell, Cooper, and use like Kenneth Walker at $9,000 and flip it something crazy. But $9,000 is a big boy pricing.
This is the funny part though, tight. I'll let you take it away here. But if Kenneth Walker was, I said this yesterday, but if Kenneth Walker was like eight, three hundred and you were deciding between him and McCaffrey, so many people would want to use that as a pivot down the stretch. I guess we get close to Sunday and see McCaffrey's ownership rise.
People would say, man, I could just go to walker here and make this move and it wouldn't cut too heavily into it but he would be much higher owned if he was eighty three and I get that's a deal so yes it would make sense but I'm just saying it's crazy the minute you put the nine in front of it it's automatically not that's a bit too much right so what's your thoughts here on this game let me add one more play Mason Taylor I like quite a bit at tight end I mean he's clearly over uh sadiq and last four games Three targets, six, six, five, and that's all with Garrett Wilson in there.
With Garrett Wilson out, I mean, he should be heavily involved. So I like Taylor. Yeah, the Kenneth Walker thing was what stood out most to me. He's sandwiched right in between Gibbs and McCaffrey, but they're nine-and-a-half-point favorites. He's minus-two-twenty to score. This Jets defense is not good. They're at home. It just feels like a Kenneth Walker smash spot at limited ownership. I mean, ten percent, twelve percent, whatever. That is definitely my favorite play and way to go in this game. Even a better price on FanDuel.
Anytime you're cheaper on FanDuel than DraftKings, so he'll be more popular over there, but it fits scoring great on both sides. I think he's an elite play. Don't hate Mahomes, but I think, yeah, this is kind of what we talk about a lot. We play an ownership game. If you think it's eight percent, seven percent like Tambo, And I plug that in, I'm naturally going to get more than if I think he's thirteen percent or fourteen percent.
So, yeah, I think a lot of this is more ownership stuff. Do I think he has a solid game? Yeah. Do I think it's a great game? Probably not because I like Kenneth Walker. But with that being said, if you tell me right now, Kenneth Walker does not score today. Mahomes probably throws four touchdowns. They're implied for almost four. So it really depends that way. And when you play him, the nice part is it's Rice and it's Kelley.
As much as I love Worthy, there's no way. I mean, the largest field stuff, sure. But I think it's really easy enough to just play Kelley, just play Rice, or play both of them. You can play Kenneth Walker, too, with Mahomes. I'll let you talk about that since you like Mahomes, how much you'll do that. It costs a lot, but we know that Kenneth Walker caught a good amount of passes this year. Jet side, it's easy. It's, yeah, Cooper over...
Mitchell for me mainly the ownership the same yardage prop who mentioned it someone else mentioned it in chat he feels like he has more the big play upside both are solid though but yeah when you're half the ownership give me the ownership discount there now I'm not playing Gino I try not to play quarterbacks on the road going to Arrowhead against the Spags defense so nothing really after the two pass catches on the Jets. That last part too is what got me.
So you can do that. I even took it off because on my latest run, it just wasn't happening as much. And I can tell you, this is what's the most interesting part to me. So I actually don't have much Kenneth Walker. So as far as playing them together, all that. I've got Kenneth Walker. I do bands like I've got them between twelve and fifteen percent for my ownership, like for what I'm putting them in at.
And I'm only getting like five percent of him so just tell obviously that means others are only getting a limited number two but what's crazy to hoop's point what I was trying to bring up why I had to be this passionate and explain it like it is I have my homes at twelve to fifteen percent I have rice at twelve to fifteen percent and I have kelsey at like eight to twelve, like a little bit of range there to try and get it, like see what that does for me.
And it still gives me all three of those guys, even at that ownership. And how else can you do it like that? That's the thing. So you got to have your own process. You got to stick to it. The other thing I'll add on this one is to the previous one. It won't be on every game like this, guys, is just to note it. They happen back to back. Another one that sets up very balanced, right?
When you got Mahomes, Rice, Worthy, Kelley, Adonai Mitchell, Cooper, whatever you want to mix in there, you are not playing Antonio Williams, you're not playing Malik Washington. You're not playing Caleb Douglas. You're not playing any of these middling wide receivers in these other games. Well, you know what? Mason Taylor, who brought up, he's the same price as Dulcich. Well, that'd fit into those stacks. Like that's a different game. So maybe in this lineup with Mahomes, you could have Ollie Gordon. You're not on Willis.
You're not on Jared Goff, who is Jared Goff is also similar price to Mahomes. And those stacks can fit accordingly. So there's a lot of moves to be made on this slate and think accordingly to the game theory side of things. And that's where I'm doubling down on those last two games to me. And there's one more later. Where they all work out that way. And that's what I'm interested in. It's just to try and defeat the way other people are building on the slate.
I don't really care who the plays are to get to the finish line until they do. And even then, I think it's going to be more because of my process when I win, then yes, someone has to bring you to the promised land. But in the end, you got to think about the slate and how you're building. So nothing more to add on this game. I will go back to hoop because it's, His guys, he's always got the Lions gear on, man.
He's still got it today. A new hoodie or something, fresh one. Got a little extracurricular. It looks like an AI design. They put like that little swirl in the background of it and then the logo. So you see that on all the new Claude sites out there. But Lions on the road hoop going into Miami against the Dolphins. Yeah, I got to keep wearing the gear while they're playing good.
And then when they start playing like shit and losing, then I'll flip and put something else on, so. Playing well now, so I'll wear the gear. In terms of this game, though, I think it's really, this game is very appealing. So you look at the Dolphins side. So Malik Willis is getting ownership, quite a bit of ownership. People are loving going against this Lions defense.
Well, the defense is tightened up a little bit, so I'm not so sure this is as great of a spot for Miami. People are thinking, I mean, up and down the board. I mean, so Malik Willis is getting more ownership than Jared Goff. Caleb Douglas in Malik, Washington, similar to Amon Ra and Jamison Williams. Dolchich getting more than Sam LaPorta. I understand we play a salary cap game. The Lions guys are more expensive than the Miami side, but you can make things work.
I just want to be heavy on this Lions side. The Lions passing attack today for multiple reasons. I mean, it's one of the best offenses in football. They're projected to score twenty eight. Jared Goff. I mean, we're showing. Under five percent ownership, like I like Jared Goff, Amon Ross, St. Brown, Jamison Williams, LaPorta, any combination of that. You can play two of them. I absolutely love today. You can play golf with Gibbs, obviously, as well.
And then you do have runbacks on the other side if you want. I don't think you have to take a Dolphins guy, but you have a lot of different Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back options. Ollie Gordon in play today. Douglas Washington, Dulcich, like we talked about all in place. You have the runbacks if you want it. Just absolutely love the spot for the Lions today, the passing game specifically, and then Jameer Gibbs.
I mean, he's probably going to be I'd say I'd say probably twenty percent when you go in there and you start building teams and you're like, damn, I can save $2,000 and go from Jameer Gibbs to Christian McCaffrey. A lot of people are just going to do it. So I think Gibbs ends up probably twenty percent. I mean, the one thing that's propping it up is these $4,000 quarterback.
So, I mean, if you play a $4,000, pay a $4,000 quarterback, you can obviously afford a little bit more. But, yeah, ownership is going to be held in check. Yeah. I'm in on every aspect of this Lions game, passing game, and I'm going to say Jamison Williams is on the winner today. Jamison Williams is going to be on the winner. And you can play him One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Yeah, only $6,100 to very affordable.
We did get the news this morning that Amin Ra is going to be good to go. We saw him before. I mean, we saw the game where he actually looked like he wasn't going to play and was right down to the wire. And then we we were all counting him out. Then they show him in warm ups and the guys is beaming around his dad, former Mr. Universe, obviously a very tough family, strong family, if you will. But.
Uh, he always guts it out and he's out there and it sounds like it's going to be good to go there. The one thing this morning title that was, so two things that are interesting that are combined for me. And it wasn't like he was worth much, three or four points on a ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. Like we can see people's lineups. They got Malik Willis. Dulcich, one of Malik Washington or Douglas. And yay, you fit Gibbs now.
We get it. Like we see that lineup. It's everywhere. And Gibbs, Alex and I looked it up yesterday. Gibbs was seventy percent in Malik Willis lineups because obviously that's the easiest way to get to him. So that's propping up his ownership even more. So like Hoop said, I think you just play Gibbs at $10,000. There's tons of other ways to get him in there and different lineups and not just play him as the run back to this stack.
I think if I'm stacking the Malik Willis side, I actually like Jamo to speed it up or Amin Ra just to get the catches and do it that way because most people with Malik Willis stacks are going to be using Jameer Gibbs it's just very affordable quick to get to first thought they have but what's your thoughts here on this game with Malik and then I think Gordon I was just saying was to LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage Malik Willis today at home not the best I get the the if the Lions are good anywhere it's on the ground but it's more of like an opportunity at $5,600 and with nothing really behind him see what happens Yeah.
I'm, I'm on the other side of hoop on this one. I'm not Dolphins for sure. More than Lions. A lot of it has to do with salary. Um, and then a lot of it just has to do with when you play golf, you just have to get it right. If you play JMO and it's not a JMO day, it gets you five points and you're dead. You play Amin Ra and it's Gibbs instead of JMO, then you're dead. Like LaPorta is in there.
I just struggle more getting it right. Um, And Goff doesn't run, so at $6,600, he really has to be efficient through the air, whereas the Dolphins just have so many more out. It's Malik Willis. He can run it. He's starting to sling it more. All three of Dulcich, Douglas and Malik Washington have props about forty yards. That's that's pretty good for their prices.
And yes, when you play them or when Malik Willis has played, it's probably two of those three, but at least. They do have three options where the ownership will be eight into a little bit. So nothing's going to be crazy ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. I expect them to move the ball against a Pass FunnelA pass funnel is a football defense that encourages opponents to throw because passing offers a better matchup than running. Lions beat up a little bit on defense. Dolphins are at home. We've seen garbage time for Malik as well. I think this is a great spot for the Dolphins. And yeah, like they're getting some ownership. Eight, nine, we have them, eleven. But right in the same range as the Donnie Mitchell is Antonio Williams. So it has to stay in check to an extent.
And then to leverage all that off, we talk about portfolio. I'm going to have some Ali Gordon, too. He's getting the work. He runs hard if they do play from above.
And it does leverage off of some of that Malik stuff so I'm all in on a lot of these Dolphins I will plan on being very overweight my favorite by far I'm just going to keep riding Gibbs this offense goes with Gibbs he's a complete monster so I'll probably be underweight most the other line stuff minus Gibbs two one I got a question then I'll go to a comment in the chat but maybe can you do you have uh Ollie Gordon props there are they up still or did they pull the board I'm just curious Yeah, so let's see.
His receiving prop is like, which we don't really care about, but it's like eight and a half. His rushing prop is seventy and his touchdown prop is plus one oh five. All pretty good. I'll pretty solid for that price. Yeah. I'll say this. You can do anything you want today. I, I clamored for this yesterday. Again, I did it last Week. People were trying to do this last Week with, um, who was the cheapest quarterback last Week.
People were thinking about using, I forget who it was. Now they're trying to do somebody as like, Oh, maybe we'll just play them. I want to take up all three wide receiver spots. I want Malik, Washington, Douglas, Dulcich, Jamo. Now fill it out. Who cares?
Like it hits or it doesn't because it's not just because of last Week with the Cincy, Tennessee thing. This is often enough. But it's like even last Week, Rio's lineup was...
It was uh sorry Burrow chase Higgins with gunner helm he didn't even have Robinson or um the guy m noob had I think Robinson in there in the same type of lineup he didn't need that like a real beat him without it it's like and that was just a standard three one a double stack with a run back so I'm fine that but I I know this Week specifically with drew like Drew Lock And with, um, Milton and with all this stuff, people are just going to want to play these guys by themselves.
Shoulder in a second. Like if they actually go off, I would at least be putting someone with them for me. It's like when the cheaper quarter, the cheaper, the quarterback, the more Likely it is that I'd bring the stack back. So maybe it's with one receiver and then two on the other side or something like that. But I, you know, for me on these other guys, I'm looking to double, triple, whatever, get a game stack going. So. Just my thoughts there.
All right. Title goal, I'll stay with you. We'll go to Browns at the Saints. The chat has been telling me for two days now that Chris Olave broke the slate. It hasn't started yet, but it already happened. So give me your thoughts here on this game. Browns at the Saints. We obviously got Shadur Sanders being the big talking point here. Why Chris Olave? Because it's the only run back people feel comfortable with, right? They're just automatically going to go to him and say, let's make it happen.
Yeah, I mean, I'm fine with him. He's $7,400. He's a monster. One of the lower totals could see a lower pace in this one. If you're the Cleveland Browns, you obviously probably want to milk the clock more. Make easy throws for Shadur, third and shorts, third and manageables, which isn't great for DFS. With that being said, I mean, that kind of you mentioned earlier, Buckins. Yeah, I guess today's the day.
I'm not putting my stamp on him or he's the best play, but he's $5,400 at $6,000. And yeah, they have a backup quarterback in that. I don't think they want to air it out. Thirty plus times. If he doesn't, if they don't have to do that and they win this game, it's got to be on the back of Buckins. So definitely playing some at $5,400. Man, outside of that, I think Concepcion probably going to be him and Fannin, Shadur's favorite options.
Fannin did solid with Shadur last year, and now Concepcion, the rookie gadget guy, I think that can get him the ball in a lot of different ways. So those are the two I'm fine playing with Shadur. I have Shadur behind Drew Locke and Milton today when I am talking about the punt quarterbacks on the road, in the dome, applied for like twenty points.
Again, I just do not think, I think they're going to be more willing to let Locke air it out they're also implied for like twenty five points. And I like Milton a little bit more at home, his upside. So I just don't expect to get to much of this game. But it's yeah, when you run it back, everyone's going to go alive. I don't like Kamara much. Saints defense is, I guess, the spot to talk about. Fando really going to be popular.
DraftKings going to get some as well. I feel like at this point, which is all the volatility defense, I got to go under the ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Read the full definition of Chalk defenses, but not sure that's the right move. Curious here what you think. It's a, it's a spot where I guess if you're not, I like to me, it's like on defenses today, specifically, it's also, I don't know. I don't feel it's the same as last Week where it's just like we had the two cheap options.
Like there is people, there's Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up options. There's middle middling options in this twenty six to twenty or the $3,000 range with the Broncos. And at the bottom, you got the Cardinals, which will get you later. I understand all that, but it's also a product of like, if I'm not landing here. And this makes this work, I might as well land there.
So like if you landed on the Saints and you're not playing Shadur and you're not playing Concepcion and whatever else, I've got, you know, Concepcion, Boston, you know, Fannin, Shadur, all very solid, like decent enough. Boston's the one that's going to go overlooked. So if you want to do it that way, but again, I've got no problem. If you're going to be on this game, I'd kind of like to be on it. It's in New Orleans. It's in a dome. The defense is bad.
You want it to go back and forth. I can see why people are going Olave. Their Camara is $5,000. I'm not sure if anyone has interest in him. They dropped, what's his name there? Hoop, the Kendra Miller, right? He's out now. So, you know, he's completely pushed off.
So I think it's like, that's something people are looking at, but I don't have too much of a hard stance in this one as much as these other spots that I'm in, because it still gets you to a lot of the same plays everyone else can be on once they land on this lineup, much like I thought about the Malik Willis stuff. So go ahead.
Yeah it can't really be on everything and I mean I prefer definitely Drew Lock over Sanders like for the $4,000 quarterbacks we'll talk about that game uh when we get there but I I just don't really like this one like Concepcion I'm fine with um you know fanon fine with but I don't I don't think I'm gonna play a bunch of Sanders today on the saint side it seems like a good spot for shuck but it's just hard to figure out like to have a Tyson is back today or not back.
I guess it's his debut. That should improve their offense overall. But what does that really mean for Shuck? What does it mean for Alave? It seems like a good spot, I think, for this offense to do some stuff. I think it's a good spot for Shuck to do something. But when you apply it to DFS... It's really hard to do anything outside of shock to a lava. And I mean, it just, it, it really is.
So I'm going to have some of that and that's probably it, you know, maybe some Juwan Johnson, but really this game mostly is going to, I'll be UnderweightYou are underweight in DFS when a player, team stack or lineup combination appears in a smaller percentage of your entries than in the contest field's entries.Compare the same contest, format and roster slot. Use projected ownership before lock, then check actual ownership afterward to see whether your intended underweight stance held.Read the full definition of Underweight on it, but I will have shocked to, to lava in my one. Yeah. I've got more sugar on this side. And I also will just note for the, the checks are asking me like I have, I'm on and I'll go to title for the next game and get his thoughts on this.
But I've actually got more sugar than Drew Lock as well. So that's, that's definitely different for sure. Yeah. Another reason and go collect caught it here, brought it up. This was due to your question earlier.
As I said, I'll go to you on the other thoughts you want to add, but that's with the Saints D you know, picking up steam in a lot of places, especially on FanDuel, like you said, but even on DraftKings, I think there's other interesting ways to go there. So you can do like a sugar stack, um, against that defense and whether you, I mean, Olave is probably the best guy regardless.
I don't know that he was going to break the slate or broke it, but you'll probably want that if you're playing this stack. So yeah, definitely the chat's tilting to the game, obviously over the Madrid game. We've got, I think they said Charlie Woerner got the, a barn burner with Charlie Woerner over there and they, they took it away from Bijan at the one, one yard line. So is what it is.
People want that too, but it, you know, it's always Bijan in these Island games, right? We'll see how it usually works out, but yeah. Take us into the next game. Any other thoughts you wanted on that Brown Saints after all the rebuttals? But if not, we've got Giants at the Eagles. No, I mean, it's nice that we go back-to-back games with two of the cheap quarterbacks like Joe Milton. I was surprised because I was looking at rushing props.
Part of the reason Joe Milton, I liked a little more than Shadur. He's a big body, can run it, QB sneak upside maybe. His is about twenty-five. Shadur's is like seventeen rushing yards, though, which was a little hotter than I did expect. Both are pretty bad. They're expected to throw less than two hundred yards through the air, which is is not great. Obviously when I'm playing Joe Milton and I'm going to play some at $4,100, it's almost all going to be with lemon.
The problem is like that's how most people are going to play it, which is why I don't I'm going to cap the Joe Milton stuff. It's just hard enough to get different when it does work. Everyone's going to pull. It seems like the same Person around. I don't mind playing some Goedert. You're just Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. I'm definitely going to be playing some Nabers. $7,300 finally is going to be single digit owned. J.J. McCarthy. These guys are just absolutely peppering Likely and Nabers. And I do prefer Nabers this Week to Likely. But I'm fine with Likely as a Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. And then Giants and Eagles defense both going to get some ownership as well. So.
I guess I'm going to throw back to you. Yeah. So I like chalk Singletary. Sure. He's going to be played with the Giants a lot. It makes a lot of sense. I think Eagles on the other side to LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage off all this stuff on defense, even though they're going to get some ownership is great. Milton, the lemon fine Nabers. I like the one I'm debating is JJ McCarthy. No one is talking about him.
It's right next to Daniels Jones, but I even feel better almost about it's Likely or Nabers or both. Can he get the job done? Obviously not the highest total on this one on the road, but what do you guys think? A big number nine, JJ McCarthy. I've heard some love for that. I mean, both these defenses are popular. So if you stack either side, it's a similar thing to what we just talked about in the previous game hoop. I'll let you take it away first here.
Any JJ McCarthy love. And then, you know, the other side is the one that others are talking about. It's a hundred bucks more than Shrader and Drew Lock.
Harder to stack I don't think as many people are as excited about stacking it up so maybe they're just playing him you could play him with Nabers Singletary uh you could play him with Likely I mean you could you could use him as just like that way and hope that he has some rushing value and adds it in there but and beats the other guys around him but not as easy um to set it up what are you thinking yeah a guy that I haven't fully decided on but I I think you could make the case I mean you can see who his weapons are I mean you got Nabers you have Likely tight ends pretty weak position Yeah, I'm not opposed to it.
I definitely prefer him over Milton. Like, I just, I don't, I don't want to play Joe Milton, like on an eleven game slate, massive Team TotalIn NFL DFS, a team total estimates one team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It includes scoring by the whole team, not just offensive touchdowns or fantasy production.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total. His weapons are Makai Lemon and Darius Cooper and Dallas Cotterd, like. And the rushing prop, not super appealing either. So I don't know. I don't like Milton. I'll probably be off of it. I'll be off the Eagles side. Like, I just – this team's done. Like, they have nothing to play for. They've thrown in the towel.
I just don't want to be on it much. I do really like Nabers, though. I mean, what's the ownership? It seems relatively low. I mean, it's – Yeah. Like, yeah. Give me Nabers for sure. I mean, he just so many different ways to get him the ball. I think he's a phenomenal play on the slate at yeah. Low, low ownership, single Terry, $4,600. I'm with him. Good play. And yeah, I mean, you know, maybe I will be on McCarthy.
He's a guy I've gone back and forth on, but I just like him better than Milton or Sanders. And the price really isn't all that much more. And you have a legitimate number one wide receiver that he can throw the ball to at low ownership. So, yeah, I'm in on it, I think. Yeah.
I can't play everyone, but I guess like from the argument of this slate and the dynamics of it and how it plays out, you know, you'd have McCarthy Nabers and Likely would leverage Singletary and would also go against the most. I think the Eagles will end up the most popular cheap defense. On the slate could be the Cardinals, but I still think it's the Eagles at twenty five. So, you know, we'll see how it all shakes out. The Giants are going to be owned, too.
But if you're trying to stack it up the easier way to me, you don't need a run back. You could just run it that way and move on and not try and figure out, is it some bar, who knows Barkley now, and they barely play the guy lemon Darius Cooper Goedert. It's all really hard to figure out. So I'd probably just stack it up McCarthy Nabers Likely, and just move on and go against the Eagles D leverage of Singletary ownership and go from there.
All right. We've got four really good afternoon. Uh, no, we're still, we got one more left in the morning actually. And it's, uh, I was thinking because it's the Rams, we're always like seeing that in the afternoon, but they're playing in Washington going against the commander. So title, I'll go to you here. We got Rams at the Commanders. We know, uh, people want to play Puka here. A lot of the wide receiver one alphas have taken down.
Commanders when it comes to big boy scores and so you know puka is going to be able to fit in and when you've got these $4,000 quarterbacks that we talked about earlier lots of ways to do it on the other side Antonio Williams very popular um Jayden Daniels $6,000 stefan diggs touchdown equity I guess but you know it's there he's only $5,600 this could be another spot chig is only $3,600 I think that's somewhat interesting but take it away on this one Yeah, Jaden's probably my favorite quarterback.
Definitely top three on this slate. He's just the rushing upside he has. And I mean, they're home dogs. He's probably going to have to drop back a lot, possibly use his legs. And yes, Antonio Williams is chalk. It seems like good chalk. I mean, he is a higher receiving yards prop than Diggs. He's just out there more than Diggs. So yeah, I think he has so many ways to get there at $4,100.
You play Jaden with him, cuts into some of that ownership still by no means will be ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Read the full definition of Contrarian I think Chig might be my favorite way it's close I really do like Antonio Williams even at ownership but I really like Chig at $3,600 especially when playing Jayden Daniels stuff ownership is going to stay in check on the field like seventy five percent of the time and he's involved I mean when he's out there he can catch the ball get up field and make it play which is always nice After that, I'm fine with Diggs when I'm playing Jayden Daniels.
I'm fine with Rashad White. He can catch passes, $5,100. I don't love either of them, though. And then when I do play Jaden, Antonio, Chig, whatever, yes, it's probably going to be Puka as my Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back, and then when I am Doing that, you do know you have to get different somewhere else, whether that's Jutkin stuff or Alave or whatever it is after that.
It's going to get some ownership, but it's one of the best game environments, and I love Jayden Daniels' rushing ability with his cheap pass catchers. I think Washington... In a vacuum is probably the most under-owned stack on the slates. Or no, under salary. So under, yeah, project. For the salary that it is, it's way too cheap relative to what it should be. Under-owned was the wrong word. Puka's the man. I play him every Week. So nothing to say there.
Yeah, a couple things here we like, and I'll go to you in a second, Hoop, but just to note, I think we're still waiting on McDuffie news for the defense, for the Rams, but also Mills Garrett making his return, right? First appearance since Week one. So if Jayden Daniels got a scramble, if you got to get it out quick, Hoop, your boy Chig is right there, man. And just those little choppers over there, what did you call last game?
You said he'd have thirty yards in the first quarter, and it was done. Twenty-six and a half. You said the game, you said that'll be first quarter, and I think he had thirty in the first quarter. So it's like, This is the spot. And this is the other game I mentioned to people earlier about like setting it up. Yes, Puka is expensive at eighty eight. That's fine. But when you've got $6,000 Daniels, he's not the highest price guy. He's not the $4,000 guy.
But you've got a popular Williams that people want a popular Puka. But then you can really slice into it with Daniels, Diggs, Okonkwo. Like those guys are all slicing into that. And for whatever price Puka costs, you've got the savings in Chig down low. And even just Daniels, Chig, Williams, Puka. While those two in the middle have ownership, those two cut the price. Like Chig makes the room for Daniels.
And he's also just a little bit more than like Dulcich and some of those other cheap tight ends. So I'd want him with his quarterback. And if they got to scramble a bit with Garrett out there or whatever it might be, still decent total at home, home underdogs. But you know, that, that plus five and a half number sometimes is the magic number. Maybe they can stay in this game. Who, what do you think?
Yeah, just looking at it, taking like the DFS side out of it, it seems like a good spot for the Commanders, like the Rams coming cross country, one p.m. Eastern game. Seems like a good spot. I like the Commanders in this game to probably pick up the win, to be honest with you. In terms of DFS, I'm not as excited. I'm playing it, but not as excited.
Like, Puka's stud phenomenal, nothing else you need to say, and that's really all you have to consider on the Ram side. You know, Jayden Daniels, again, I want some of these high upside, little more expensive quarterbacks. He fits into that with all these cheap guys. He's sitting at $6,000. Well-owned, like it. Antonio Williams, Chig. It's very cheap to get involved here. I mean, I love the doubles. Like, I love Daniels. Antonio Williams, chick. I mean, that's dirt cheap.
You have Pook on the other side, and you still can do whatever the hell you want. So I kind of want to be pretty specific with how I play it. Like it, don't love it. Alright, let's see. We'll get into these afternoon games now with you. A game that people don't like or don't love is coming up first. So we'll start with the one that nobody's really talking about here, but it's the Texans at the Chargers.
Obviously, Woods Marks is getting a little bit of love with Montgomery out, all that type of thing, but With how many running backs popped up on this slate and the singletaries of the world and all these other things, I don't think he's going to get as much ownership as we originally thought at the start of the Week. So give us your thoughts here with this one, Hoop. We got the Texans at the Chargers.
I mean, the Chargers are just, I mean, what an embarrassment. I mean, just so, so bad. Just awful, awful, awful, awful. Projected to score seventeen at home. This game has a total of forty and a half. It's got to be. Is it their second lowest? I believe on the slate. The pieces I'm interested in. I'm going to play Woods Marks for sure.
I'm going to play Nico Collins, and I'm going to obviously play my guy Dalton Schultz, and then I'm not playing anything on the Chargers side. So it's those three individual plays, Marks, Nico Collins, and Schultz, and that's it. I like Schultz here just because he's a hundred bucks more than those other guys we talked about earlier.
I actually think it's a, it is a title, a perfect two V two to swap Woods Marks and Dulcich, which be like enough of a popular combo out there. I'm sure to Ollie Gordon and Schultz hundred up, hundred down for both.
And it's just like the same spots, different games, different, different positions but last Week you saw a lot of that a lot of people were on Chase Brown with one of iamanner or Robinson and if you didn't get to the full Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack which is what you ended up needing there still was a nice little Pollard Higgins opportunity that you could get to for basically the same price that that feels kind of like what you see not in a game stack here but in a way that people are playing the slate so give us your thoughts on this first one we'll move pretty quickly I'm sure but Texans at the Chargers Yeah, nothing too much more to add.
Woody, Nico, Schultz, all fine. Definitely would add in some Texans defense at $3,500. I mean, yeah, Herbert, it's really, really bad for them. The Dalton Schultz stuff, though, I guess I didn't really realize until now, like his snaps this year have gone way down. Fifty seven percent, forty, fifty two the last three games, which I mean, has contributed to his receiving prop only like thirty six and a half yards. So. A little less interest in Schultz than I initially had.
And on the flip side, Woods Marks is playing pretty much every single down and he's only $5,700. So I like that quite a bit. Really tough for Galen. Noel was playing great this year out for the year with a toe injury. Don't think this is the slate where we're going to find out about Marv or Tank or Hutchinson. It's still kind of unknown there, but I do feel like there's slates coming up in the coming weeks.
And we do start getting an idea what Texans is going to do behind Nico that we can get to some of these value pieces. Can I get a couple quick props on the Houston side? What do you got for Woods Marks and Schultz, just out of curiosity? Schultz, thirty six and a half. I think he was plus three twenty to score. Woody is sitting at like eleven and a half receiving prop. Let's see what his rushing prop. Sixty four and a half.
And he's plus one ten to score. So, yeah, Schultz plus two thirty five. So a little better than I thought. And Gordon may steam up some now late, you know, with the slight ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. And he's obviously Malik LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. He was plus one Oh five for the touchdown, slightly better only, but also I'm seventies.
I think you said, and eight and a half, it's very close between those two. So at least somewhat interesting, but the home back leverage to Malik Willis, the slate dynamics at hand, I think I got more interest in Ollie Gordon than marks. And that's why marks is coming down in ownership versus, you know, some of the other spots on the slate. So makes sense. All right. A spot where ownership is definitely not coming down at any, even with Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. I don't think it's coming down that much, but we've got, I'll keep with you titled the forty Niners at home versus the Raiders. A lot of lineups with Kittle, a lot of lineups with CMC and a bunch with them together, too, I'm sure. So how are you handling this spot? What are you thinking about with forty Niners at home versus the Raiders? Yeah, I mean, it feels pretty tough to get away.
At least, like, if you have no peace in this game, it's definitely going to be uncomfortable. On the Niner side, I mean, yeah, they're projected to score thirty one points. McCaffrey is definitely way too cheap. Definitely playing some Purdy. The problem is when you do, it's like almost all going to be with George Kittle. And then a lot of it's going to be with McCaffrey, too, which is my favorite way to do it.
If you do it, though, just know you've got to get different somewhere else. I think Jordan Watkins is someone that I'm going to be playing a little bit in those stacks, a little bit of Demarcus Robinson, too. The $3,300 $4,300 showing no ownership. That's a way to eat into when you play Purdy.
If you don't play Kittle, if you don't play McCaffrey, just low on pieces that if yeah, if they catch a fifty yard touchdown or whatever it is, Purdy skyrockets up, they skyrocket up at no ownership. You got to do something to get a little different in this game. And it's hard for me to get to this Raiders side. Too much to get different. Like Jenty's stuff, man, I'm scared. I got to see.
Yeah, I don't know if it's a punishment or something. And this year, this Week, they're going to go fully back to Jeanty. Even if they do, $5,900 is a good price. So I'm not saying X him out. With that being said, though, he hasn't been efficient this year. And going to be their ten-point dog, so Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. Brock Bowers, I'm definitely in. Then Michael Mayer, . We talk about it all the time.
I like him more when Brock Bowers is in because the ownership is nothing. And then Brock takes away so much attention. On a tight end slate, right next to Dulcich, no ownership. In a game we love a lot. Yeah, Michael Mayer is definitely someone I'm bumping up. Him and Bowers are my favorite plays on that side. I don't got too much here. Hoop, what do you want to add to this one? We'll go to you here first. Mostly the same.
I mean, they're projected to score a thirty. It's a phenomenal spot. If you are playing the forty-Niners, it is difficult, though, to do anything different. I mean, it's Brock Purdy. It's Kittle. It's McCaffrey. I prefer to play it just all together, all three of those, and then kind of like Title said, look to do something different, maybe a strong lower-owned Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Read the full definition of Mini-Stack in that with the rest of your pieces. But it's a really good spot. I want to be over on Purdy.
I love him. I'll play some Demarcus Robinson as well. On the Raiders side, it's just going to be Brock Bowers. I really think they're going to kind of start splitting things up between Jeanty and Washington moving forward, so not much interest there. Yeah, it looks like Trey Tucker had the zero last Week. You could see him in a bounce back spot. If I was stacking the Purdy side, I actually like Tucker just to go for that risk. I love Brock Bowers.
I've been talking about him all season. I get it. And he's a wide receiver. So you can play him in a two tight end lineup, all that stuff. To me, he's wide receiver one, seven, nine hundred.
The Meyer stuff mixed in with just the slate, the slate at hand that we have and how many running backs there is and how many different ways you can go doesn't quite fit as nicely for me here as I thought it might to sort of start the Week. But just to note it, Title, what is the Kalen Black props? The chat is just wired up for this. Yesterday, Blickle was talking about it. I know everyone's excited for it, but man, what are the numbers?
Plus two, fifteen to score, and his rushing prop is forty-two. Wow. Pretty decent for my expectations. I didn't think it would be as high. I mean, you know, McCaffrey is obviously being ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections twenty two to twenty eight points, depending on where you look. Right. For projected points here. So with his people trying to play him, what's that? Are they trying to play him or better?
I was going to note that I was going to say I would definitely be hitting the props before playing him in DFS or afternoon only after afternoon only leverages office. Yeah. Eighty percent CMC or something. You can talk me into that for four game or main. One hundred percent. Then it would make sense.
I guess people don't probably realize, but again, like maybe they looked it up or maybe they're talking about just for betting or just most, I think are saying it in the right way of saying it'd be a reason to not be on McCaffrey or to be able to make that move. But he is $5,500. It's not like they priced him down or something here. He's the same price as Ollie Gordon, the same price almost as Woods Marks, like all these other things.
So I think it's just to talk to themselves. Yeah, this is what. Tyler, go collect said, I think people are using black to talk themselves off CMC. And then they see a prop like almost forty five on there and say that's going to be something you can play. I mean, people can do whatever they want. Definitely. Ten point favorites at home. Thirty one point. He can get. Fourteen, fifteen points. We've seen this happen before. It's just, I don't know if that'll be enough.
And when you're playing them against other guys in that spot, that's when it gets, you know, a little bit tricky. There's lots of other options on the slate that project way, way better and, you know, probably should be played instead. But yeah, Hoop, how are you handling this one yourself, man? Like, how high are you on CMC and then Kittle and together and separate? I don't know. It's tough to say here, but Kittle the onesie position.
We know running back chalk is typically good, like pitchers in baseball. It's harder for me to...
Say no to McCaffrey even though a lot of sharp people are telling me maybe he's not as you know he's the one you could move off of if you wanted to move off here but I don't know you just need him in the passing attack I mean he he's gonna he's wide receiver one in this offense I mean him and Kittle are one a one b like I just have to play them here. They're projected to score thirty.
Like I said, my favorite way to do it is just give me Purdy, McCaffrey, Kittle all together. Give me the entire offense and they score thirty-five or thirty-six and it's all through those guys. So that's my favorite way to do it for sure. Yeah, I think it's going to be hard for me to move away too much from McCaffrey. Like I said, even if you dock his Fantasy PointsFantasy points are the score a DFS contest assigns to a player or team defense by converting real sports statistics and results through its scoring rules. Your lineup's total determines your contest ranking. Before trusting an average, check which games it includes and whether the player's role has changed. There's also Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Read the full definition of Late Swap opportunity with him, right? He's $8,000. Most will have him sitting Flex and UTILA standard NFL FLEX accepts a running back, wide receiver or tight end. In DraftKings NFL Showdown, FLEX instead means a regular-scoring slot alongside Captain, with broader eligibility that includes quarterbacks. Before lock, identify affordable replacements for your latest starter. An open FLEX or UTIL slot helps only if suitable unlocked players remain within your budget.Read the full definition of Flex and UTIL just the way today sets up. But you can go to... Most will go to Bowers, a hundred bucks less, right? You can move to him. You've got McBride, who's going to come up later at $7,700. And you got to avoid matchups and conversations, all this stuff.
The other thing, though, it's like if you want to come up with a play to get off McCaffrey, why is it the backup running back? Like go to Kenneth Walker, right? Kenneth Walker is $9,000 more at ten percent ownership. So if you're going to get off McCaffrey, build a Kenneth Walker lineup. Don't build a Kalon Black lineup. Don't do that. Kalon. We love it. Yeah. I think that's interesting. Like you said, obviously I'd look for the pivot different.
Like you said, look, look for a different way to go, but from, from late swap, another guy to Christian Watson, seven, five hundred as well. So if you're down going into the afternoon and sitting on McCaffrey time to swap it out and don't think you're sneaky, just going to Bowers for a hundred bucks less than the same game, because that's where most people will late swap to McBride, three hundred bucks on the table. Watson, five hundred bucks on the table.
That's kind of the way I'd be thinking about it. And anywhere else you want to go. I'm just noting that's kind of how I'd be thinking about it when we get there. Wrong way to think about things. We talk about this all the time. I mean, complete wrong mindset. You're not not trying to pile on, but it's like it's all relative to what everyone else does at the position. Tambo, you always talk about it and it's so important.
It's all relative to how the other running backs perform on the field. That's why people struggle sometimes with DFS. Not to be rude. It's just factual. It's like, oh, this guy has to do this. And if he doesn't, I'm going to get there. There was a Week Gibbs got like twenty three and still ended up on winning lineups. It's like, oh, but he needed to have forty. They told me before the Week started. It's like you don't know what's needed till you know what's needed.
But it also can. Lead you to different paths and constructions that are different. Like, yes, you're going to need scores at the end of the day, but we've seen defenses with eight points win the Mills last Week with our guy Rio. We've seen other running backs at, you know, thirteen or twelve when people would have wanted twenty out of them to start the Week. It's like, but they ended up in the construction. It's all about what everybody else does and how the slate shapes out.
And we don't know that until after it ends. So it's just build accordingly. Tons of ways that you can use it to your advantage with a guy like McCaffrey here. Kittle, obviously in a great spot. If Kittle breaks the slate, it's hard for me to imagine it not being in a Purdy lineup. It's probably two touchdowns. It's a big game of nine plus catches. Maybe the bonus or like very close to it. And it's got to be a big game.
So that's where I think Purdy is interesting. And then somebody said it too.
They can just score points so you know I will say this you don't need to Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back a forty-Niners stack but it would be nice if someone's coming along for the ride to keep that game close to make it actually sealing out and that's what I'd be thinking about and it's uncomfortable with a guy like genti or Tucker or whatever you decide but it would definitely speed things up and make it so that you can get a back and forth going.
So I think about that as well. I liked Title's comments for the afternoon only slate. That's where I'd be looking to LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage up because CMC will be even higher in the afternoon from that spot. So two more games on the slate. Title going back to you. Packers, Packers, you're Green Bay Packers going against the Patriots in New England. Give us your thoughts. I was going to say, in New England, it's not another spot where I don't love stacking up teams that are going in there.
So, Golvin is an individual piece. He is better priced on FanDuel and will be owned as such. To be honest, though, for tournaments, I almost might like him more on DraftKings just because the ownership discount and If he catches the ball, man, if he didn't have these drops, his stat line this year would look absolutely insane. And Christian Watson, what, he went to the hospital, came back. He's just so fragile. It's a little harder for me to get there.
With that being said, he also has all the upside in the world. He was on pace for two hundred plus in that game before he got hurt. Still prefer Golden right now. Don't mind Watson. I do prefer him individually without love. And you're probably like, yeah, if they absolutely knew, do you need love? He's still $6,300. Love would need to do something to other people when I am playing love, which I'm not really doing today. He just he works more in double stacks.
On the other side, Ramondre is the only one getting some ownership, which I'm fine with. But it's not like a sexy play by any means. It feels like he'll walk into fifteen, seventeen, nineteen points. And is that enough? You definitely take it. It depends. Like we keep talking about what the other running back rooms do or the other running backs who on the slate. I don't really love it, I don't think.
Matt Collins and DeMario Douglas, though, two cheap wide receivers getting absolutely no ownership. I think our – I mean, Pop's just been so good this year for him. And Matt Collins, when you're looking at a punt, him to Marcus Robinson, which someone mentioned, are guys that I'm looking to get different when people are going. Antonio Williams, our Dolphins wide receivers, those guys have some upside and will be on the field. But it's hard for me to like this game much. Yeah, someone said this one here.
You got a rebuttal for him? I think there's a difference between fragile and soft, right? Yeah, definitely. He came back from it. Injury prone.
Injury injury prone equals fragile yeah and but yeah I mean I didn't call him soft no I did not but david saw this one man that was crazy I posted that too everybody I think thought the same thing anybody who's a old school boomer like hoop and I maybe you know maybe not titles days but the wwf days I put the f on the end of it it's e now but we're going way back in the day for that when his boys busted out of the ambulance coming back to the arena getting back in the ring and fighting or wrestling against each other but man that shit still pops off I don't care what anybody says I'm not a
Huge wrestling fan any longer I was as a kid but I will say it is insane to me from like a business owner perspective and like just thinking about media and things in general that that can go on for that long and still find ways to just make heaps off of it like their own networks and all these different things it's like UFC is a real thing they're fighting they're gonna punch each other break their arm do everything that's that's nuts in itself But to keep wrestling ongoing that long and there's dudes in the front row with big signs and going crazy and everything, that's still happening, Hoop.
So where are you sitting on the wrestling? We're not even at the last game yet. We usually save stuff for the very end, but I got to bring it up now. What do you think? You got to put any wrestling arenas? I mean, I loved wrestling as a kid. I mean, absolutely loved it. Watched everything. Went to the events. I mean, it was one of the highlights of my childhood. But as a grown man, I mean, I've safely moved on from that setup.
Okay. Give a quick, just for the old time's sake. There's not enough of these people in the chat that won't care. Give us the top three wrestlers for you back in the day. So they date it real far, as far as you got to go. I always liked Jake the Snake Roberts because I was terrified. I still am. That's like one of my biggest fears is Snake. So like when he'd come out, I was just immediately intrigued with Snake and all that.
So definitely Jake the Snake. You have to put Hogan up there. I mean, for everything he did. And then I always liked ultimate warrior as well. So those are kind of, kind of my three. Yeah. You can go back further too. Like I know all the, like the bushwhackers when they came to my hometown, I got the little face. We were front row was my birthday. That was awesome. That's a memory for sure.
There was all kinds of guys to Tonka, Ted, DBSC, all that, but like razor Ramone stone cold, just, you know, mankind doing this crazy shit. Like this stuff was crazy, man. Undertaker was always, Undertaker, Kane, his brother, all this stuff that they got you involved in characters. That's what I think is the key, and you got really zoned in on that stuff. So, yeah.
One thing I'll say about this Packers-Patriots game, getting back to it, remandre kind of the I guess it's just remandre I know if henry's ruled out which we won't if we still haven't got it surprising Raridon will definitely pick up a little steam at but remember most people got that slot used up in the morning on $3,000 guys or they've got Kittle and then they're not going to know what the swap is they're not going to be prepared for it so if you want to be ready that would be one thing I would keep in mind um pop Douglas splits the difference on what could be popular of remandre or Raridon You'd go to him at $4,800.
He's right in that same range as a lot of those other popular One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off that people are using of Adonai Mitchell, Antonio Williams, all those guys we mentioned. So I think Douglas interesting. Matt Collins, I believe, is coming back from IR this Week. So we'll see how that gets handled and how he's used. But he's there. But I think Pop Douglas most interesting to me there on FanDuel, though. Love Watson Golden. Watson and Golden are the same or cheaper on FanDuel.
Afternoon, you can look for some Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Read the full definition of Late Swap. If you want to get there, you could start with them and move off of them. Whatever you think. I'm just noting it. That's something I look at. And I know we usually talk more DraftKings, but that's, you know, Ramondre is $6,400 over there. Raridon forty five. Maybe. No, he might be. Yeah. $4,500. He's like, you know, whatever. It's not the minimum for tight end over there.
But anyway, that game is more stackable, I think, over there. And also you have a game where Love and May, it's two quarterbacks that could go back and forth. Will they? We'll wait and see. It's not my highest spot that I'm on, but I think the Packers side for FanDuel, definitely interesting. Underdog on the road. Got a popular remandre way to stack around it. Anything else you want to add here, Hoop, or anything else you want to mix in with I got one thing.
Just the Hunter Henry, an hour ago, they said a realistic chance to play, whatever that's supposed to mean. But I'm going to project him like he is going to play for now. I got to project him in at that point. Yeah, you bet. Yeah. I just like this game so much better when Matt Collins was out. And it looked like Hunter Henry was going to be out. Then we got Chisholm as a strong play.
You got our guy Raridon as a strong option. Now that Matt Collins is in, and it sounds like Hunter Henry is going to play, I lose the overall appeal of this game. Individual pieces on the Packers side with Watson and Golden, really kind of agree with everything you guys laid out, so can pretty much just leave it.
Yeah, you can't get everywhere like we said and it's like even love for me is way more of a FanDuel thing than DraftKings so it's a may hard when it's like I've always made fun of this and funny enough I'm on my homes today one of the rare times that people know I, I go with what, what the process says not just with my head but this is the thing of saying, like my home.
Drake may holmes we've made fun of it before but it's when you've got Stevenson kiner Douglas chisholm Williams if holland's is back if henry's in and you still have rared in like how the hell are you going to figure that out and hope to have the right combo I'd want to have a lot of may lineups if that was the case and on this slate I just don't want to have a lot of those if they get there and crush me then so be it but I don't think I've got very much uh right now just looking at it take us into this last game Hoop, I'll go to you first here.
I'm just trying to see the Drake Mesa. Yeah, like nothing. So the Cardinals at the Seahawks is the final game, and it's obviously the big conversation around Drew Locke, Jackson Smith, and Jake Bunn, just pairing them together quite easily. Yeah, I mean, Drew Locke of all the $4,000 quarterbacks by far my favorite for a couple reasons. I mean, number one, he gets to throw the ball to Jackson Smith and Jigbo, who might be the best wide receiver in football.
So that immediately puts him to the top of the list. He looked good in Week two, and that was the Week that Jason had three touchdowns. So he knows when he goes out there who he needs to get the ball to. So I think that pairing is phenomenal. If you're playing Drew Locke, if anyone's playing Drew Locke, they are probably playing him with JSN, which makes sense. But it's not like it's going to be a popular pairing.
Drew Locke under ten percent, JSN probably like, what, twelve percent today. So love it for sure. I want to be on it. They can't really run the football. They're at home projected to score twenty four. Cardinals are we haven't used buns today. Cardinals as a team just complete buns. So I really like Drew Locke to JSN. And you can throw Barner in there, maybe a little bit of Horton.
I don't mind Horton as just a random tournament play, but I feel pretty good about the Drew Locke stuff today. He looked good. He has JSN, and just that immediately puts him to the top of the list over these other cheap quarterbacks for me. Michael Wilson, Trey McBride is runbacks. If you want, I don't think you have to. There's obviously a lot of risk with this Cardinals defense or offense.
The nice thing is Minshew came in there and just absolutely was slinging it much different, though, going against Dallas versus Seattle. Seattle's is legit Team TotalIn NFL DFS, a team total estimates one team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It includes scoring by the whole team, not just offensive touchdowns or fantasy production.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total for the Cardinals. Very, very low. It's a really good bounce back spot for Seattle, I think, here today. So I am concerned with some of the Cardinals stuff, but you can do it if you want. You have direct guys, Michael Wilson, Trey McBride.
If you want, you don't have to, but I really like the block to JSN pairing today. Yeah, really interesting in the meantime. It got posted in the chat. I just want to bring this up now. So a minute ago it said Cam Scadaboo with the hamstring is trying to push to play as unlikely as it is. So we'll see how that actually shakes out, but that makes it somewhat interesting. The good news is we'll know before, but... I made a little brisk walk there.
It doesn't look like any hamstring. They're just showing him walking in carrying his bag and we'll see. But what does that mean? Who knows? It's just, I think it obviously matters because the interest in Singletary today at just $4,600 is there. So got to think about that now as well. Just a way to shake it up. Of course, the last minute wouldn't be a fun Sunday without that. Um, title your thoughts here on this one, Drew Lock JSN.
It'll be like the Gibbs in Malik Willis lineups earlier. You're going to have drew, you're going to have Jackson Smith and Jigman, you know, more, it's just, that makes sense. It's going to drag them along. It has already, it did one time this season in this exact matchup. So I think some people are thinking about that as well. Where are you at on the Drew Lock situation here to round up this slate?
Yeah, I'm right now looking a little over the field, but I don't I'm going to cap it because everyone's going to do the same thing. No one's going to run it back. And it is only two spots of your roster so you can get different elsewhere. So I'm fine with it. But it's also like $9,300 JSN CD Puka Gibbs McCaffrey. There's opportunity costs when you're spending all the way up there. Where I like it, I don't love it.
I actually think Jadarian Price is the way I'm going to go in this game. You could have seven percent and you're still different. Jadarian Price and then some Seahawks defense as well. Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up at defense, Seahawks look at one of the best, only fifteen points, the Cardinals on the road. Completely different spot. Minshew comes in, they're trailing by a lot, so they're playing prevent defense and then you can just absolutely nuke them. Going to the road to the twelfth man is tough.
And Price is expected to lead the backfield in carries. He had the most snaps last Week. I am still nervous about Charbonnet at the goal line, plus-one-thirty-five Chark, plus-one-seventy Price. But if he is able to get in the box once, $5,300, absolutely nobody playing him. And they're, yeah, they're nine-point favorites. And if Locke fails and JSN fails, who's going to do good? I bet it's more so Price than it is a Torrey Horton or a Cooper Cup.
So, yeah, flipping where people want to go in this game with Jadarian Price is something I'll be a little overweight on. That's the hard part, man. Like you said, that makes an absolute ton of sense. Even the Cardinals are picking up a little bit of steam. So like going against them with either the combo of Locke and JSN or picking one of those running backs. But it's kind of silly and stupid. It's annoying because Price and Charbonnet combined would be phenomenal.
If they only had one of these guys here, it'd be like point. They'd be a top play on the slate for not just from like running backs at fifty eight to fifty three to $5,800 because their points would sort of come together and that'd be good. But also it would be leveraged to the Drew Locke stuff and would just make a ton of sense there. You just don't know because Charbonnet first Week was last Week. He's like, were they easing him in?
And now it's going to be a bunch more. Judarian Price was still in the mix. Is that going to stay that way? So if you are getting after it here, I totally get why. And it makes sense from that perspective. I think it'll be more Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Read the full definition of Late Swap for me to get to these guys and you'll figure out the build from there and then afternoon only. But I get it totally and I like it.
I think the one thing you said that I also loved was the Drew Locke jsn just taking up two spots of your roster I think that throws a lot of people off who hinted at it as well there's so many ways you can get different people like well everyone's going to be doing that yeah they are and then they have to figure out seven more things it's like there's there's a lot more rooms that you have to go into after that after if that's the first room that you started with everybody I was talking about like separating yourself yeah that is a popular room to start out in but you've got
Seven more places to fill out there's so many ways to get different in that build still so I think it's um it's good probably um better in smaller fields as well where you can just like start off with that and then start plugging in the pieces but anything else you want to add here title at all and if not get your final thoughts yeah I mean just the rushing prop uh price fifty eight and a half Charbonnet like thirty four and a half so books see it pretty apparent that price is going to get more of the work it's just you probably still need a touchdown that's a little more nervous yeah maybe but for each plus one thirty five Charbonnet plus one seventy for price.
Yes. And they very well might both get a touchdown today. So $5,300 at this low ownership. And again, Seahawks defense, I think, is a little interesting as well. But It's a tough slate. Combine them into one. It'd be so great if we got that. It's like, then you could just be really happy on the slate. It's like another option there. Did you, like, was there anything on, I guess, Algiers is $5,400 on this slate with nobody behind.
It's like, I don't know that or not that people are worrying about it, but anything else that Forty nine and a half rushing prop for him and touchdown prop of plus one seventy. It's just man, a road dog, pretty significant dog against this defense without much pass catching ability. It's tough. Especially $5,400. Like, yeah, just give me price. We're showing price for one hundred less at one percent less ownership. I'm definitely price over all year.
To be honest, this whole Cardinals team, it's I think it's yeah. What a great spot last Week, riding the highs and all that. It feels like a complete meltdown this Week. And even McBride, like I said, for me, be more of a late swap. If you're stuck on CMC and people are going to Bowers for the late swap, you just jump down. It's not ideal. I'm not saying it's good, but if you want to actually have something that's different, hope that they're down.
He just catches a bunch of balls, catches a touchdown at any given point, something like that. That's how you'd have to think about it. But Hoop, anything else from you, man, or final thoughts on the slate from your side of things? I mean, fun, dynamic slate. I mean, those cheap quarterbacks bring a lot of different angles to the slate and makes it pretty appealing. The voice is about to fully give out. So good luck to everyone.
