Bears vs Seahawks NFL DFS Showdown | MNF Week 8 Showdown Shippers | Picks, Plays & Process

Aired Mon Nov 2, 2026 Runtime 1:20:08 Chapters 15 Views 4,039

From the archive. This breakdown is for the Monday, November 2 NFL slate. Salaries, weather and picks were for that day.

The Short Version

Tyler Tamboline, Title and Hoop break down Bears-Seahawks after Rio’s guest appearance about his Milly Maker win. Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($18,000) is the clear captain priority, but pairing him with Sam Darnold is optional. Caleb Williams offers rushing upside and a way into Chicago-heavy builds. D’Andre Swift draws unmistakably split captain opinions: receiving work and an 86% snap share support him, while Seattle’s run defense raises ceiling concerns.

Roschon Johnson ($3,400) offers low-owned Chicago value that changes the common Seattle-heavy construction. AJ Barner ($4,600) is a strong flex option and costs just $3,000 on FanDuel. Cooper Kupp provides leverage against Torrey Horton, whose ownership could exceed early projections. Chicago receivers and defenses offer other ways to differ from the field. Seattle’s backfield requires activation news, with Zach Charbonnet preferred for goal-line work and Jadarian Price drawing underweight interest.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
CAPTAIN The clear captain priority with the slate’s highest projection; overweight exposure is supported despite roughly 25% projected captain ownership, with one approach pairing it with underweight flex exposure. 36:34
CAPTAIN Included in a tight alternative captain pool, with later discussion favoring that use over a standalone flex bring-back. 37:08
CAPTAIN Captain opinions were split: an 86% snap share, receiving work and touchdown odds support him, while Seattle’s run defense creates concern about his ceiling. 38:06
CAPTAIN Rushing ability and multiple receiving options support captain exposure, while Chicago pass catchers help create a different construction from Seattle-heavy lineups. 38:55
Captain opinions were split, and a Jaxon Smith-Njigba captain was specifically said not to require Darnold in the flex. 42:56
CORE Preferred over Sam Darnold as the flex quarterback alongside a Jaxon Smith-Njigba captain. 43:18
CAPTAIN A preferred alternative captain with a stated path to 120 receiving yards and two touchdowns. 44:33
Receiving routes and catches were noted as another complication in Seattle’s unsettled backfield, without a recommendation to roster him. 51:57
Underweight exposure was planned at $6,400 because of workload concerns in his first game back; activation still needed confirmation. 52:42
The preferred Seattle running back because of expected goal-line work, but the $7,000 salary, return from injury and uncertain rotation limited comfort. 53:09
LEVERAGE At $3,400 and roughly 8% projected ownership, offers a Chicago alternative to Torrey Horton and helps move builds toward 3-3 or 4-2 Bears constructions. 53:33
CORE His workload supports a high-floor flex play even with concerns about his ceiling against Seattle. 57:32
Opinions were split between interest at roughly 5% ownership and calling the $7,400 DraftKings salary unplayable; later floated as a very contrarian $10,000 FanDuel option. 58:01
VALUE A strong $2,800 value with expanded opportunity while Rashid Shaheed is out; ownership expectations differed between under 20% and roughly 30%, so leaving salary was emphasized. 1:00:16
LEVERAGE Provides direct leverage against Torrey Horton if Horton reaches roughly 30% ownership while Kupp’s ownership stays lower; also considered at $5,400 on FanDuel. 1:02:02
LEVERAGE Overweight flex exposure to Chicago’s main receivers helps move away from the field’s expected 4-2 and 5-1 Seattle builds. 1:02:21
LEVERAGE Part of the preferred Chicago receiver group used to shift exposure away from popular Seattle-heavy constructions. 1:02:21
Only three snaps in the previous game limited interest beyond large lineup sets, with Chicago’s three main receivers preferred. 1:02:57
Only five snaps in the previous game limited interest beyond large lineup sets, with Chicago’s three main receivers preferred. 1:02:57
VALUE Strong at $4,600 on DraftKings with a role described as Seattle’s second receiving option, and especially cheap at $3,000 on FanDuel. 1:06:00
VALUE At $1,200, benefits from Cole Kmet’s absence and fits Caleb Williams captain builds; also considered usable at the same salary on FanDuel. 1:06:50
CAPTAIN At $6,900 in the captain slot, offers a way to change the construction while retaining Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the flex. 1:07:58
LEVERAGE Preferred over Colston Loveland as a flex bring-back at $200 less and lower ownership. 1:08:36
His big scoring games were acknowledged and he remained acceptable, but Jason Myers was preferred and defenses drew more exposure interest elsewhere in the discussion. 1:09:24
The preferred kicker and one stated favorite among the two kickers and defenses, although other discussion favored overweight defenses instead. 1:09:44
Chicago Bears DST LEVERAGE Roughly 12% projected ownership supports overweight exposure versus the more popular kickers, with a Swift-led game script and obvious Seattle passing situations providing a path. 1:10:04
Seattle Seahawks DST LEVERAGE A strong defense worth playing above the field when defenses project around 10-12% and kickers around 20-30%; also fits builds without quarterbacks. 1:11:06

Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Read the full definition of Roster Construction▶ Said at 0:05 GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP▶ Said at 0:05 OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership▶ Said at 0:05 Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown▶ Said at 0:05 SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate▶ Said at 2:23 Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack▶ Said at 3:52 ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections▶ Said at 11:30 OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. It uses projected fantasy points, your settings and, in some tools, simulations to select combinations for a chosen goal.Build a small test batch first. Check which players and combinations repeat, and investigate why before increasing the lineup count or changing settings.Read the full definition of Optimizer▶ Said at 11:30 Bankroll ManagementBankroll management is how you size your DFS spending relative to the money you have set aside to play, called your bankroll, so normal losing streaks do not wipe you out.Write down your per-slate limit before the season starts. Spending rules are much easier to keep when you set them before a losing streak, not during one.Read the full definition of Bankroll Management▶ Said at 15:47 Lineup LockLineup lock is the deadline after which you cannot change your selected players. Without late swap, your entire lineup locks together; with late swap, which allows edits after the contest begins, players lock at their games' listed deadlines. After saving an edit, reopen your entered lineups and confirm the change reached every intended entry. Check the site's displayed lock times and time zone instead of relying on the television schedule.Read the full definition of Lineup Lock▶ Said at 25:35 Slate SizeSlate size is the number of games or matchups included in a DFS contest's schedule. In sports built around one event, it can instead describe the number of eligible competitors; it does not mean the number of contest entries. Before building, count the credible alternatives at each position. A slate with plenty of games can still leave you with very few appealing choices at one position.Read the full definition of Slate Size▶ Said at 32:54 Flex and UTILA standard NFL FLEX accepts a running back, wide receiver or tight end. In DraftKings NFL Showdown, FLEX instead means a regular-scoring slot alongside Captain, with broader eligibility that includes quarterbacks. Before lock, identify affordable replacements for your latest starter. An open FLEX or UTIL slot helps only if suitable unlocked players remain within your budget.Read the full definition of Flex and UTIL▶ Said at 40:55 Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back▶ Said at 43:50 LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage▶ Said at 52:42 Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up▶ Said at 55:07 ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Read the full definition of Chalk▶ Said at 56:10 One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off▶ Said at 1:08:36 ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Read the full definition of Contrarian▶ Said at 1:13:03 ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value▶ Said at 1:14:00 Player PoolA player pool is the set of players you consider using in your DFS lineups for a slate, the games or events included in a contest. The term can also mean everyone available to select in that contest.Keep a replacement beside each uncertain player, noting the salary and position you need. Recheck those alternatives when news changes so your shortlist still produces usable lineups.Read the full definition of Player Pool▶ Said at 1:16:17

But we got the GOAT, Hebrew Cheetah here with us, fresh off the Milly Maker winner.

0:57

Got title, got hoop as usual. We will get to the showdown content, all the other stuff after that. But Hebrew Cheetah, Rio, the man, What's going on? Newest Milly Maker in the world right here with us out of his garage. Love to see it. What's happening, my friend? Yeah, not much. Thank you guys for having me on. It's the first time I've ever been on a show with all three of you guys, so pretty cool to do that.

1:18

But yeah, I just wanted to hop on here and just kind of recap everything. Obviously, I had a ton of support over the last, you know, twelve or so hours, whatever it's been. Everybody reaching out couldn't get to all the messages. It's been honestly overwhelming, the amount of support that I've gotten.

1:31

I really do appreciate everybody reaching out it's like all the support has been amazing I felt it all and yeah just really appreciative feel feel great waking up this morning after uh after that Sunday but yeah just a good time good time to be alive right now Yeah, definitely a good time, man. And congrats to you. Just an extremely special accomplishment. Maybe we can start there. I'll let Title and Hoop get in on the mix as well.

1:54

But just from the starting point, let's talk about it, man. I know you and I were texting back and forth, but not everybody is doing that and going back and forth with you on it. But, you know, let's end these games. We just got to see what happens here. Nice to have the Pats D. Still in the mix, right?

2:06

But title said it yesterday on the show is I'd want to be sitting up top after that first set of games and literally sitting up top after those games. So talk to us a little bit about the sweat and how you were feeling once it sort of got to the point of like, okay, this is the case. I'm up there now. And then how that feeling is going into the afternoon.

2:23

Yeah, well, first and foremost, watching the the takedown breakdown this morning, I think you guys did a good job recapping it. So I would definitely suggest watching that because a lot of what you guys said was true. But yeah, just with the way that the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate set up, it was a little bit more unique than some of the ones we've had in the past where the games were front loaded. You want a lot of exposure to the early games.

2:43

Obviously, you don't really know if you're sweating that early on, but, you know, you check around like the third, fourth quarter of the early games and see what you got going on. And then, you know, I saw that I had that Michael Wilson team in there. And I mean, honestly, the nut run out, like, I mean, everybody talks about a lot. I mean, Zach talked about a ton. Like you need everything to go right to even be close to winning a tournament.

3:06

But I mean, man, that was the most insane run out I've ever had go my way. What did he get, like, eighteen points on one drive? It was just absolutely insane. Yeah, so I don't know. The sweat started after that. And, yeah, it's just like the anti-sweat, I guess, because I didn't have anybody going to the late game except for my defense. And you can lose points with your defense.

3:27

Like, even when I was in first, I was not, you know, guaranteed to win it. And, yeah, just kind of watching the game, pacing back and forth for three hours was just anxiety-filled. Were you by yourself? No, I went over to a friend's house down the street, had a couple of people come over because I kind of knew that the possibility was real. So I wanted to celebrate and have my parents come too. So yeah, but I was with a couple of people.

3:52

I don't think like, if you're not hanging out with people that really understand the DFS game, it's hard to really put it into words. But I think that they understood once they saw me just pacing back and forth for two or three hours. Yeah. Hoop, you know what it's like, man. You've been there. You've got a Milly Maker yourself. You were off a Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack in the morning. Rio obviously had, you know, we popped it up here. I can show people quick.

4:14

Obviously, like you said, go back to the takedown break. They're not going to spend a bunch of time on it, but you had Burrow, Chase, Higgins. You had Helm to allow you to fit everything else. And then you had Braylon Allen, Tootin'. Two of the best plays at running back yesterday based on everything else. You had Wilson when you weren't on McBride or anything. Instead of Henry and the Steelers, you kind of had the Fannin against the Steelers and the Patriots defense.

4:35

But Hoop, you've been here. What did you have that day? Jacobs was the guy in the afternoon. You still had to have somebody get to the house for you. Rio talked about the anti-sweat. I'll let you hop in and ask some questions yourself with him. But the... The sweats are just crazy down the stretch. Like he said, him entitled talked about it. You need everything to go your way. You get that feeling of momentum. I talked about it the previous week.

4:56

It felt a lot of things were starting to go my way. And Rio was texting me that day too. Like I said, Rio's always there supporting people in the community, his friends, one of the most genuine, authentic, humble dudes in the world. But Hoop, you've been there. Talk about it with your situation and compare and contrast with Rio and go ahead.

5:11

Yeah, it's like a weird feeling, I guess, when it kicks in that you actually really have a chance or you think you really have a chance. I guess you really don't know if you have a chance or not. You don't know what's behind you. I guess nowadays with the tracking and what some people are doing, you have a little better idea of where you're at. But one little thing.

5:32

Doesn't go your way and you're it's over like you know the the Chiefs and you know we're talking about it the the Coleman guy it's like that goes to overtime that dude just broke off a fifty yard run let's say he does it again and it's a fifty yard run for a touchdown I don't know how close the the team was behind you it could have been uh game over so the the sweat is it's yeah I mean it's it's fun nerve-wracking like everything there because you just you really don't don't know but in in terms of yesterday and uh you know rio situation we

6:03

Talked about on the show I mean I think I said at one point it's like usually we say you know don't get too comfortable going into the afternoon games I I don't know we had a conversation around it briefly yesterday where it's like well today's the one day where if you're sitting pretty after the the early games you might feel pretty good about your situation.

6:22

So, you know, I pulled up, I didn't pull, I never really look until like later in the afternoon. Once those games get kicked off, I pulled it up and I saw Rio up top. I was like, okay, well, you know, we said there was a chance that a guy sitting up top after the early games could hold. And it was our guy Rio. So I'm like, all right, now, now let's go, let's finish this off.

6:42

Nothing was really happening in those games. So, I know, you know, you put the graphic out there, they put them at what, like a sixty some percent chance to win it at some point. And again, but you still just never know. You don't want to get too comfortable because we talked about it, man. It's like as soon as you start dropping in those Milly makers, you go from.

7:02

It goes quick you get out of that top five or whatever it is it's like you're gonna be extremely extremely disappointed but um you know rio obviously got the job done it was exciting stuff excited for him um I pulled up the I went to text him after and I pulled up the text between the two of us and the last text I had was me to him after he finished was at second place right he finished second for the hundred And the previous text was solid run in Milly.

7:31

You will get it this season. And that was on September. So we're like six weeks ago. It's not six weeks ago. I was like, I said, I just read that text. I said, I guess it came true. I said a little quicker than I anticipated, but it's so cool to see them. It's awesome.

7:46

And I guess like taking it outside of DFS, like when you, look at somebody that has dedicated their life to a skill, whatever it is, if it's a basketball player or an accountant or a teacher, whatever it is, whatever the hell it is, whatever industry, you see someone that dedicated their life to it has absolutely busted their ass at the skillset it takes to get to the top level.

8:10

Like when you see somebody do that and then they actually achieve it, it's so cool. And that's just outside of DFS, that's just in life. Like you can see from just afar, like how hard somebody is working at a skill to master it, to get better, to improve. And in this industry, there's not many people that have put in the time, the work, the effort. And I know this firsthand.

8:32

I know you both do as well, because we've been close with Rio for years. So cool to see him finally get there because, man, he's busted his ass in this industry. I mean, absolutely has busted his ass and he deserves it. And super excited for him. And just really cool to see. Yeah, I love that title. Let you hop in, too, man. Just you've been quiet. Obviously, we had a lot of conversations going back and forth. But, you know, any any thoughts you've got here with Rio?

8:58

I know you guys are pretty close. And like you said, you've got a lot to look out for here. So. Yeah, no, I mean, Hoops said his point, I think it was really good when you work so hard at something to see it pay off. And I mean, Rio, even if he didn't win the million in his whole life, like he's I mean, he's he's made a stamp in this industry. But I do believe in good karma. You be a good Person.

9:20

You get good things back. It's really, really hard to get there at the top. And. Yeah. And yeah, believe it. Don't believe whatever. Maybe there's still players. It's outside your control, but you do need a little extra luck and everything needs to happen. And yeah, no one deserves it more than Rio. I've been blessed to know him for many years. Put in the work.

9:36

I mean, everyone knows if you're in the NBA Discord alone and he's not, I mean, he's going to be in the NBA Discord, not tomorrow. There's actually no show tomorrow. But Wednesday, Thursday, all that, totally well-deserved. And it was really cool to see my boy Randy Moss Jr. Get the job done, broken ribs and all, and a perfectly constructed lineup. But no, I hope you get a fan in Jersey. I hope you get a Michael Wilson jersey, whatever you do with it.

10:00

But yeah, nobody deserves it more than Rhea. I was very, very happy for him. Yeah. Love to see that. And by the way, the, you know, talk about, I said earlier, Hebrew cheetah got the three H's. It's a hardworking, helpful, humble. And then I'll add another, just, you know, very happy today. I'm sure Rio. So talk about the emotions after, right. You, you know, you went into already what it was like sort of pacing around the sweat, but what's, what is it?

10:21

What is that feeling? Finally getting the job done. You said it like I prayed for times. And then you said, finally, like, this is the, it means like, like hoop set, you're putting in the work you've been waiting for this moment and it finally happens. And literally just six weeks ago, you had to deal with disappointment of being right there. And it just comes up short.

10:37

Inspiring, I know for me, off of fourth place last week, seeing how quick you can just have that turnaround and get it right back. But talk about the feeling of finally crossing the finish line. What were you doing? What was the celebration like after that? I think a lot of people want to know.

10:50

Yeah firstly thank you hoop and uh title for the the nice words definitely got me feeling a little emotional over here this morning but yeah I appreciate it a lot uh it means a lot um yeah as far as what went on afterwards uh it

11:05

Was just kind of like you know a couple moments where you're just in shock I'm sure hoop you kind of felt that way where you're just like waiting for the money to hit the account and it's just yeah it was crazy just really just in shock and Yeah, I didn't play any lineups in the Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. 11:30

But, yeah, I think just, you know, the best thing was being with, you know, close friends and family and, people that know have seen the work that goes behind uh every you know every single week like the prep starts super early in the week for NFL so just being with people that have seen that firsthand I think was really cool celebrating with my brother and my parents was amazing you know people that have really seen it from start to finish I mean I Started playing DFS in twenty sixteen and it was me and my brother listening to Sirius XM videos, getting information there before even knowing what ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. 12:06

So celebrating with him was was amazing. Yeah. I mean, just, you know, a lot of, a lot of beers, a couple, a couple of whiskey drinks, good time with friends. And yeah, I ended up, I got a little e-bike live pretty close to the beach. So I took that down there and just run around for a little bit, listen to music and kind of took a moment to myself to just let it all soak in. Cause yeah, I just needed to really feel it.

12:29

And that's when it kind of became real, just being by yourself and knowing that you finally done it was, was really cool. Yeah. I mean, it was, it was a great night. Really, really good night. Yeah. Can't ask for a better outcome. Like you said, you gotta, gotta have everything go right to get there. A lot of people pouring out even more support in the chat. We appreciate all you.

12:46

I know Rio does, but you know, little things like this just add up, right? James says, congratulations. You helped me win small wins NBA in the past. It's, you know, small wins can turn into big wins and you're putting in that time. It just, this is everybody starts somewhere. And that's, you know, Rio's explaining his story. He posted on his ex account last night, ten plus years of the grind. Right. It's just it's a lot that goes into these things to get there.

13:07

Somebody else said this. I think Rio and I talked yesterday and pre-show today. I'm like, it's not about like everybody just doesn't see it the same way. Hoops said it best. It's like when you put your entire.

13:17

Life around a craft it doesn't matter what it is some people it's golf like you said they want to get better at that and they go put in lessons and keep playing the game and then whatever the event might be in this case it's just this is the game we play and that's why we play the game right there the million dollars important rio I think right we talked about this but you know it's that's the money but it's also it's because it's the biggest event I always compare it to like a golf major to title's point he said there's a lot of people that will never win the Milly Maker but still made a stamp or had good results or crushed it there it's fine

13:46

Like you can't control all the outcomes you got to keep putting the time in work at it you know we talk about all the time but achieving it or hitting that that big major feeling is what matters so much you said you took some time to yourself you know whipped around listen a little bit music stuff like that but just incredible incredible stuff man who titled did you guys have anything else you wanted to hit real with here before We move on to the other stuff.

14:07

I think we'll have some Rio Estated guys, just so you guys know, for the Ship It Nation community. We got some giveaways coming and some fun stuff there, but got to let them just bask in it. It's already cool enough that he just showed up right after the celebration to hop on with us. Just such an incredible feeling. Can't imagine. Just amazing. I love the whipping around.

14:24

I would do the same thing, a walk, whatever it is like that totally can resonate with me. That's how it hit. And yeah, I mean, you deserve it. Take take it all in. Enjoy it for a week. My question, though, is how did you sleep? When did you go to bed? Did you wake up in the middle of the night? How did that go? I slept like a damn baby, honestly. Okay, I love it.

14:44

The beers and the whiskey probably helped that. They definitely did. A little late-night snack, too. I really couldn't eat when I was watching the games. Like, I was just not hungry. So I didn't realize that I skipped out on lunch and dinner. So basically my diet was just a lot of beers. But got home, just had some snacks, watched Superbad, and just slept like a baby.

15:06

Woke up this morning, turned on the – The Takedown Breakdown show, Tambo asked me to come on and got ready real quick. But yeah, I slept great. It was hard to not sleep like that after that type of night. And I got one more because I think probably a lot of people in chat, this will hit them home. But yeah, you've been playing since a million maker, everyone's goal or like the thing is that like, I personally, that has never really been mine as much.

15:30

Cause I know a top heavy and how much you can lose while doing an awesome. Oh, back in the day posted that how he was down millions of dollars. I think he won a milli maker and still is down in that contest. So yeah, Having goals and like, what did you start? I mean, I met you at the live final before I even know you and had a great time there.

15:47

But like the Bankroll ManagementBankroll management is how you size your DFS spending relative to the money you have set aside to play, called your bankroll, so normal losing streaks do not wipe you out.Write down your per-slate limit before the season starts. Spending rules are much easier to keep when you set them before a losing streak, not during one.Read the full definition of Bankroll Management obviously grows when you have success, but you need to still manage that bankroll to be there. So for people out there listening and watching, how did ten years ago when it start, what were you playing? How did it grow? Anything to now being one of the biggest crushers?

16:04

Yeah I mean didn't really expect this type of success when I started it ten years ago because I didn't really even know that it was possible just kind of you know watching sports and enjoying it and potentially making money off of it sounds like something I was interested in so starting started to learn a little bit more about that and then I think maybe in twenty twenty twenty nineteen is when it started to feel like okay this is actually something that you know you could do for a living and you could be really good at if you put the time in.

16:33

But yeah, I mean, for anybody or most people that play DFS are like the winning the Mills is the ultimate goal. That's it's either that or winning a live final. And. Yeah, that was I mean, for years, I really do believe in the power of manifestation for years.

16:49

I wrote it down like in journals, in my notes app and said, like, what goals for this year when a Milly in NFL and to finally have that is kind of why I know that's why you do it like I feel really proud of myself honestly like I know how much time and effort I put in my family knows how much I put in and it just feels really good to to do that like I I don't know just the I really do believe manifestation is real like you gotta you gotta believe that you're gonna win I'm not gonna step into any sort of arena with expectation to lose like I really want to hammer that point on me like you got to be positive don't come into

17:27

With a negative mindset A hundred percent true. But you also have to put in the work to then make it happen. You can't just I'm going to be a millionaire and then do nothing and just wake up and it happened. But no, I couldn't agree more. Yeah. Big congrats. That's all I got. Yeah. I love one thing there, too. I want to just run off that quickly because it was to Hoop's point. He brought it up. It's six weeks ago.

17:47

I get like everyone, again, I think this is where it gets tricky because obviously people like a hundred thousand dollars is still important to everybody here. But it's also like when you're going after that goal of a million, it's like, that's a frustrating spot to be in where like that night before I joked about it before I said, there's been days, sometimes I want to throw this sign out because I actually do care, right? I do care so much.

18:06

I want to make this thing happen and try and get to a goal. In this case, you could have done that. You could have been extremely frustrated by it, but you got right back in the streets, grinded it out. What is your ability to sort of turn it around? Or what is your mindset? Do you go back to the journal? You talked about manifestation, you're riding around, listening to the music. How do you sort of separate it to be able just to bounce right back?

18:26

And again, you wouldn't know that it's going to be six weeks later, you ship it. But at the end of the day, the idea of how do you handle something where it was like, great, good, right there, still get a bunch of money. Awesome to start my season with $100,000, but man, the ultimate goal is right there. Like, how do you handle that? How does that sort of work for you?

18:43

Yeah great question and I definitely know where to go with this one because I've definitely been a Person that would extreme tilt and let it ruin a night honestly and that like probably a couple years ago is over maybe a couple thousand dollars whereas you know over six figures seven figures I don't I probably have a different approach and honestly a lot of that is due to zach like I've met him or we've hung out a lot in Person he's always said like never get too high in the high or lows in the lows and I really started to implement

19:10

That into my mindset so like yeah I'm upset when something like that happens when I don't win a million but you do need a lot of things to go well or go your way and to know that you've at least put yourself in a position to have a chance I think you can't really be too caught up on the results just know that you've played the right game and you if you can see him do that over the time the law of averages are going to work out in your favor and eventually happen you know eventually have things go your way like just happened yesterday so you definitely got to attribute a lot of that to learning from title Love it.

19:41

Yeah, that's awesome, man. That's amazing just because I think a lot of people go through that. And obviously, we've seen people win big money. And maybe I'll give it to Hoop for a second. But if you take the money, what do you do with it next? But somebody will win the big money. And we've said it before. We're on a Sunday. We see somebody win. And Monday night football, they're in for a $30,000 or something.

19:58

They've never played that kind of money in their life. Like, whoa, whoa, taxes first and then this. But you see that, but also you see people go on a downswing after something like a close call, even though it's a good hit, it's they let the negative thing affect them. Or it's the other way, like they're winning money if you get pushed back to a worse score than you thought you were going to get, but it's not over till it's over.

20:18

And then you see them sort of spiral out. And I've even been there myself personally, where that's happened of, you know, like a bad downswing and then you just make it worse.

20:25

So the fact that you can keep yourself on that and love that it comes from title and you know try and put that some into my own game and I hope others can as well so awesome awesome point on that hoop did you have anything else for rio uh I guess the question I always have when you know something like this happens is like any initial plans not necessarily like with the money

20:44

But is there anything like you you're gonna purchase or anything you're gonna do differently in in life I guess is is the question I know it just happened last night but you always have that those thoughts going through your head if this happens I might do something so just any any thoughts there yeah I I think one thing that I've really tried to do I don't know if this is a good or bad thing but celebrating the wins a little bit more and that maybe comes with you know having something that is um like buying something, even though it doesn't really mean a lot, it doesn't have like a ton of true value.

21:16

It's more so just like a representation of the hard work. So I always felt like if I were to win a million, I have a lot of vintage cars that I'm looking at. Like I love vintage cars. I'm potentially thinking about that.

21:28

Like I think when I had a pretty nice streak in MLB this summer, like I you know splurged a little bit on some jewelry I never buy jewelry so just things like that where it's it's not really about like the item itself but more so just a representation of yeah the work the items are really cool but yeah yeah that's awesome are you getting a jersey I I pretty much told you to get one but you like coop did the his wife uh shout out jen did a great the poster yeah that was really sick is there any uh is there anything like that that you're gonna do We'll see.

22:03

Definitely get a jersey. I feel like I put that off. I've had a couple of nice wins in NBA where I'm like, I'm going to get a Max Christie jersey, but never end up doing it. I got to get a Michael Wilson jersey, though. I think that's that's my guy for life. Yeah. Hell yeah. He's going to say Wilson or Moss on the back is the real Moss Jr. Wilson. He played like Moss Jr. And he came out with broken ribs.

22:24

He's the man. Yeah. He did it, man. He got the job done. Anything else, Rio, you want to sort of pass along anymore? I mean, awesome. Just the amount you share already is incredible. And just have your answers. You're so well grounded, which is what I love about you. Just being able to come out. There's nothing like, oh, well, let me think about this. You kind of know who you are.

22:43

And I think that's important, just being yourself for everybody out there. But you particularly do this better than most. So I love that. Any other questions?

22:50

Um advice or anything else you want to pass along any other thoughts or stories or anything else you want to tell from this experience yeah no I appreciate that sambo uh appreciate the kind words always yeah I don't I don't really know if I have much to leave you guys with I'm definitely not the type of Person that I don't think I'm old enough to really be giving out any sort of life advice yet but yeah I don't know whatever it is that you're you're working on just stay the course always believe in yourself and definitely uh come with a positive mindset things good things can happen for sure Yeah.

23:19

I like, you know, this one Choke said earlier, the affirmation that you were right to stay the course means more than the money. Like that's where maybe some can figure it out from that perspective. Obviously money's great and all that different factors, but when you do really work on a craft as much as all of us here and a lot of people in the community do, that's what's cool. That's why it's so fun. You have to like the community sweat.

23:37

As well right we had so many people I think it was the minute you posted there was automatically like two hundred emojis or something just hopped in right away like people just really love you and

23:45

What you do and then on top of it you know they want to support you and show that back right it's like we all cheer for ourselves individual game but when it comes down to the stretch I love the Person in Discord yesterday who said uh you know this is a family it's like you're cheering for your own family that's that's really what the fun is we know enough about each other we're hanging out all the time on shows and chats and discords and whatever it's not always in real life friends but it's also just the ability to be able to support each other along the journey.

24:10

And when you're out, people always give Ricky Fowler shit for this back in the day. Like give him someone a hot hit. He can't win. The tournament ended. He's seven strokes back. He's going to wait at the green and high five his buddy because that's his buddy, man. He's cheering for him. Like he's out. He can't win. Why would you ever want someone else to lose and be negative about it? Like root for your people, man. That's what it's all about.

24:27

So. Honestly, Rio, can't say enough good things. Just so happy to see you get the job done, actually get the ultimate ship it. He said, finally, the text back and forth yesterday. We said it was going to be a good day. I texted yesterday morning, said it's going to be a really good day over here. And it turned out to be a great day, man, for you. So shout out to Rio. Shout out to everybody that supported along the way. We'll let him get back to it.

24:49

Maybe he wants a nap. Maybe he wants to just keep the party rolling. But Rio, really appreciate you, man. Congrats again. Thank you so much for doing this so quickly after the event. Of course. Yeah. Thanks for having me on. Got to get the NBA SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate plan up. We got a lot of a lot of games tonight. So get that going pretty soon. But I appreciate all that. Yeah. Right back to the ground, man. Yeah. One thing to add.

25:10

So this is a quick little funny story about winning the Mills. All right. And maybe hopefully hopefully it applies to you tonight. So the night I didn't play the Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown slate when I won. Obviously, I was. Yeah. I had already I was drinking during the day at my buddy's kid's birthday party. And then obviously that continued on to the night. So I'm like, I'm not fucking around with the late slate. No chance. So I did have a big party at my house the Monday after.

25:35

And for some reason in the morning, I registered for all the showdown stuff. I'm like, why the hell did I do that? So I was like, son of a bitch. So friends, family, everyone started coming over and obviously drinks started flowing. I'm like, shit. I set an alarm for like, I don't know, like seven forty five Eastern, like thirty minutes Lineup LockLineup lock is the deadline after which you cannot change your selected players. Without late swap, your entire lineup locks together; with late swap, which allows edits after the contest begins, players lock at their games' listed deadlines. After saving an edit, reopen your entered lineups and confirm the change reached every intended entry. Check the site's displayed lock times and time zone instead of relying on the television schedule.Read the full definition of Lineup Lock is like, I just got to go upstairs and just fire something in. I think I'd like.

25:56

$7,000 in action or something I just had to fill these lineups I'm like at this point I don't care like I'll take the loss I went went upstairs uh in my office for like five minutes and just fire I mean they probably had to be like the worst lineups ever just fired them fired them in shipped that for like I think it was like twenty twenty some k ended up winning the slate so hopefully that happens for you tonight Yeah, that would be great.

26:21

That would definitely be great. Hey, we said week eight is going to be great. I know some people hate this week eight, but it's not over yet. So you can still get yours tonight, but very, very great week eight for Mr. Rio. So we appreciate you, man. Thank you again for hopping on and doing this. It's going to be awesome. Yeah, thank you, guys. Thank you, everybody, again, for reaching out.

26:38

I'll be tuning in to the show the rest of the way, but I'm going to hop out of here now. I'll let you guys get to it. Nobody wants to hear me yapping anymore. I've gone almost thirty minutes. I'll let you guys get into the actual breakdowns. Ride the high for a couple more days. You deserve it. Sounds good. All right, I'll see you guys. Congrats again. Thank you so much, man. All right. Back to it. Shout out to Rio, man.

26:57

That's just an incredible story journey. You know, like title said, I think, did you meet him saying them? I did in Denver. Was that the NBA live final in Denver? You were the one before that. I was the one. Actually, yeah, that was the exact one. That was the exact one. So that was sweet. Yeah. So we met him then. And obviously, you know, you guys have hung out a bunch of different events, things like that. I've been fortunate.

27:18

Rio took me to a couple different live finals, got to meet his brother, his dad, his family. Just awesome all around, dude. What you see is what you get. I mean, that's a lot of people over at Chippin Nation, but Rio, truly outstanding.

27:29

Uh great tfs player even better Person so shout out to him and just I mean I mean the next day the morning after texted me like let's do this like this guy is awesome man just love to see that so all right we do have some other things to talk about uh if I will say just from from a quick note if you did want to get in over at the shiva nation community we did launch the rest of season packages today.

27:49

So you guys can check those out. They're over on the site, go to shipitnation.com. Just go down to the single sport NFL. There's no code needed. That is the rest of season right through super bowl. But, um, who we do have some showdown to talk about anything else you wanted to finalize there with the, the real conversation. And if not, we can hop right into it.

28:06

We've got the Bears at the Seahawks, a fun one for tonight, trying to play running back roulette for this slate, but anything else there with the Rio interview, if you will. I mean, I could talk about it for hours, man. It's just so exciting to see that. And, you know, rooting out, like you said, the main thing, a lot of people struggle with rooting for others.

28:25

And I think that's where our community differentiates itself from from basically anywhere else where it's like, man, like everyone's in there rooting them in. I got my ass kicked yesterday. I'm sure a lot of other people that were cheering for him. Got their ass kicked and they're in there rooting them, rooting them along to, to the Mills win. It's just, it's really cool to see.

28:47

And again, I mean, I'll reiterate it and I'd say the same about you guys as well that I said about Rio. It's like you see someone absolutely busting their ass.

28:56

And that's, I mean, going back to the Rio thing, when we, started this up rio was you know entitled you had introduced us to actually yeah that's how it happened you introduced us to to uh rio and you basically said this guy is the dude he grinds his ass off and just a super good Person like sweet in met with him once all right now you're the head of NBA here at Ship It Nation it was just like you know not like it was like I guess love at first sight, essentially not in that way, but you know what I mean?

29:26

From a business, from, from a business perspective and we were in, and I mean, and he would start doing the NBA content like the, the night before. I mean, he was busting his ass and from the playing side, you know, success. And then it's hard nowadays. I mean, you don't see a lot of people continue to get better and better and better.

29:47

You see the people that are at the top starting to come down, come down, come down and, He continues to get better, better, better up there in multiple sports. And, you know, it's the hard work for sure is paying off and you absolutely love to see it. And just reiterating what I said before, it's not just DFS applicable.

30:03

You can apply this to any aspect of life, whatever you're doing, training for a sport, you know, trying to get better at your job to get a promotion, whatever it may be. It's very cool, rewarding and fun.

30:15

Inspiring to see uh someone put in that hard that much hard work and accomplish their their main goals so um we'll have to see if I said I could we could talk about this I know all three of us could talk about it for the next you know hour hour and a half if we wanted but we do have football to get to so we can kind of leave it on that note if you guys want we can get into the football Yeah.

30:36

All, all of that was amazing. The, the big extra takeaway, the bonus line for me was just take titles advice on everything. Cause it's always been good. I can't imagine. I can't remember first. I've known title for a long time as well. Like you said, we'd say the same thing for everybody on this panel, but I don't know any bad advice that title's ever given me. And then people just re solidified good advice that he's been giving them with Rio talking about the highs and the lows.

30:57

Love that. And then, um, you know, him introducing us to Rio and saying like, this is the, you'll put a bet on this guy, basically, but that's not, don't go against titles bets. Very often either. So title, anything you want to talk about there further? If not, let's get to this bear Seahawks game. We'll get it rolling. I got to start tailing real more.

31:14

His bets are a little better than my bets, but no, I mean, I knew right when you asked the question, I knew what he was going to say. Cause yeah, I mean, as a gambler, as anything, when you have money in the game and you lose more than you win, that's the nature of what we play. Don't get too high on your highs. Don't get too low on your lows. I think that's great life advice for many of things. Yeah.

31:33

Get a little higher than you usually would have. Not literally. Whatever you want to do. Some people. Yeah, exactly. I know when this big. But I think it's very important. And I mean, I still I'm human. I have to remind myself like week two or week three. It's like, all right, dial back in. Listen to your own advice. And yeah, just really happy to people.

31:52

Hoop and uh and real Milly makers you were almost there tambo I think you're next because hey you play a little more of that stuff than me but maybe one day all of us will get there That's the key, man. Just got to keep playing the game. That's the fun in it. So, yeah, we're right back to the grind. Week eight is not over. We've got a football game tonight. It is Monday Night Football. We've got the Bears at the Seahawks.

32:11

A little bit of running back roulette. We're going to talk about that with the Seahawks, with Charbonnet and Price and Wilson and Holani and whatever. We'll see who's inactive and what ends up happening once we get closer to the game, but really can't build much until we get there. But we'll break it down. Other than that here, a lot of injuries to the Seahawks side for guys that are out. So we'll talk with Yo Shahid. Velas Jones already were out of Royo.

32:31

There's a bunch of guys out on that side. But who give us your grand scheme overview here for this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate? We got Bears at the Seahawks. Yeah, I mean, you look at it and you got probably one of the best offenses in football in the Bears traveling to, I don't know, probably the best defense in the NFL. I mean, the Seahawks defense is no joke. Just shut down the Chiefs. I mean, they're very, very good.

32:54

So what gives here is truly the big question. But for DFS, it is somewhat difficult from the standpoint of usually when we play DFS on the Slate SizeSlate size is the number of games or matchups included in a DFS contest's schedule. In sports built around one event, it can instead describe the number of eligible competitors; it does not mean the number of contest entries. Before building, count the credible alternatives at each position. A slate with plenty of games can still leave you with very few appealing choices at one position.Read the full definition of Slate Size, you're picking on the bad defenses. You don't really want to pick players against the good defenses, but we have Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown here. So we're forced to kind of go against the really good defense in the Seahawks. I mean, the one thing that definitely stands out to me is making the case for captains tonight because it is very difficult.

33:21

You look at the ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections and you know, JSN is going to be way above everyone else in terms of projections on the slate. And again, making the case for other guys is pretty difficult. So I think that is really where the challenge lies on the slate. Like, what do you do at the captain position? And then, like you said, we have, you know, Seahawks now running multiple running backs. We looking forward to this game for sure.

33:50

But again, the challenging part here for showdown is, you know, what do we do at captain? Yeah. We've got to see, uh, again, some of the news when it'll come out, but like you said, we definitely don't have one of those balanced captain slates tonight. It is JSN heavy up top. I mean, there are three and a half point favorites. It's not like they're mass favorites here against Chicago. Chicago. We'll see what Chicago does tonight. They bolstered up, right?

34:11

They got Jeffrey Simmons this, this last week. So trying to get their defense in line a little bit more, it's saying that he'll, he should play tonight and, you know, could be held in check a little bit from a full workload, but you know, just coming across with all the trade stuff, but we'll see how that all shakes. So title your first thoughts here on this game, and then we'll get right into the captain conversation.

34:29

Yeah, the captain thing, obviously, very, I mean, you know where it's going. The other thing that stood out to me, only three point favorites are the Seahawks. But I mean, field's going to build like their ten point favorites. Now, the reason for that is the value. No Shaheed, which you don't think probably is too important, but on a slate that's relatively tight in pricing and you need value. Wide receiver two, Cooper Cup, $4,800. Torrey Horton, wide receiver three, $2,800.

34:55

A.J. Barner steps into even bigger role, $4,600. Where you go to the bear side, clear running back one, Swift, expensive. Burden, Odunze, expensive. Loveland, expensive. The only one that's like OK to click, Kalief Raymond, maybe Roshon Johnson. But it's going to be a lot of four twos, even five one Seahawks more than you think when you just look at the spread. Yeah. I agree on that heavily. And it's also just because it also, it feels cleaner. Like people build it out.

35:21

They're already going to want JSA. And if you can put those guys in it and the other thing too, on the Seahawks side, and we'll get to it when we go position by position to the running back stuff. But when people don't feel comfortable about that, even when the news comes out and we have everything, the final stuff within actives and everything, people will still be trying to look for a way to just move past that.

35:38

When you have cup Horton Barner as the fill-ins there, I think that's what makes for those builds. And you said it right. They're building like it's ten point favorites or something. So, Hoop, I'll start with you on the captains. We know JSN, we're pushing, you know, twenty five to thirty percent up there pretty easily, I think, with him. But after that, I mean, not many Chicago captains outside of Swift, even on the Seahawks side. It's Darnold is popping up.

36:01

Not sure if you did a dry run yet, but it is kind of looking like, you know, JSN, Darnold, Swift and then maybe a couple of different places after that, but not too much that people want to move to differently. What are you doing here? Yeah, I'm going to get us a dry run build as well so we can kind of talk through it. But it's like I said, it is it's difficult to talk.

36:22

36:34

Uh up top and I definitely want him I want to be overweight on him and we're showing uh the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership to be twenty five percent and and I think nade's putting the uh comment in there it is restrictive if you go with him up top yeah I mean he's expensive so you do have to make some sacrifices so what do you do after him the one I don't like is the one that's getting the next most ownership it looks like and that is deandre swift like I do not want to play deandre swift up top I hope that is the case I mean this Seahawks run defense is really really good

37:08

And I just I don't have much interest playing him up top I'll go with the pass catchers over him so I hope that holds true where swift is the second most popular because I'll play Burden Loveland Caleb Williams, I'll play those guys over Swift, kind of easily get overweight on all those other guys and just pass on Swift. So my initial plan is heavy JSN, some Burden, some Loveland, and then some Caleb Williams. And that is honestly probably it.

37:36

I'll probably just cut it off at that point and just roll with those guys. Oh, four or five guys. I'm not playing Darnold up top. If Darnold has a big game, it most Likely goes all through JSN, and you're just going to need JSN up top. So I'm going to keep it pretty tight. JSN, Caleb, Burden, and Loveland is what I'm looking at. Title, what's your thoughts there? Because already, you know, sparking conversations in the YouTube chat about the quarterbacks, which we'll get there later.

38:06

But just in general, JSN, your thoughts there and then where you can move to from there to different positions, different options, I should say, at the Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown. Yeah, I love JSN for sure. No hot take. Yesterday, Daniels, though, I think he was like thirty four percent. I had like fifty something at captain. Didn't work out, but I'm fine. It just shows I'm fine getting well overweight, even if they are mega chalk. Definitely on different sides with Swift, though. He's my second favorite.

38:32

He's minus one ten to score, which is tied with JSN for the most. In the game, the next highest is Charbonnet plus one thirty five. Then you're in the plus two hundred range. He's also like minus one eighty five to catch three passes. So I think there's a lot of different outs for Swift to get there last week without one guy who obviously is out again. Eighty six percent of snaps. You give me any talented running back that's playing that much.

38:55

And can catch pass out of the backfield. By far my second favorite. Kale Williams, my third favorite, can use his legs, can throw it to different options. I already mentioned Swift, Burden, Loveland, Adunze. Not hard to see him being optimal. Then, yeah, it falls off for me after that. Good with Burden. I am fine with Sam Darnold. Just hoping that Ben Johnson, and I know Ben Johnson the offense of mine, but you'd be silly to think he's not in defensive meetings or at least.

39:20

All right. It's clear JSN's the guy. How can we try and slow him down a little bit? So I'm hoping that, especially because Torrey Horton going to be owned, Barner going to be owned, Cup's going to be owned a little bit. How do you get different with that? I think Darnold, that captain, I'm not even necessarily sure I believe, nine percent. People just don't love playing Sam Darnold, that captain, when they just know it's JSN.

39:41

So I would say Darnold number four, kind of with Burden, but I'm going to keep it tight. JSN, Swift for sure, my favorites, and Caleb after that. Yeah, I think we got to convince Hoop because I'm going to go with that title advice again. And we got to try and convince him to this because I think it's really interesting. Like the what Hoop said is right. It's hard to run on them. I'm more thinking it's going to be like dump off, dump off, dump off.

40:03

And then he is talented and capable. You look at the stone over at Ship It Nation. Look at the captain's ceilings. They're not as far apart as one might think. And you could say, well, I believe it's actually this. That's true and fair that you could make that statement. But also then it's built into the $14,700 at the captain as opposed to eighteen.

40:23

And then to Nate's point, which I do like, is a lot of the you can say we're all going to have a ton of JSN. Everybody is. But there's only so many ways that we can actually get different once you go there. So and I don't think also I will bring this up quickly, too. I think it was Nguyen's had it in there. Still more sneaky than most because people watching this are more dialed into the bubble than the people that aren't.

40:45

Most people that just put JSN up top immediately put Darnold in. But just so you know, OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. Flex and UTILA standard NFL FLEX accepts a running back, wide receiver or tight end. In DraftKings NFL Showdown, FLEX instead means a regular-scoring slot alongside Captain, with broader eligibility that includes quarterbacks. Before lock, identify affordable replacements for your latest starter. An open FLEX or UTIL slot helps only if suitable unlocked players remain within your budget.Read the full definition of Flex and UTIL with jsn so it's you're not going to just you'll get you're not going to get as far ahead as you think it's definitely still a good move because like we said we're in a bubble but I do think that's somewhat interesting too so there's only so many ways that you can get different there so we will have to play others so what do you think a little little more swift we can get them into your pool I mean, maybe.

41:14

I just – I don't know. This run defense is super, super legit, and I can see him like twenty carries for like seventy yards and two catches for like ten yards or something. I'm just – I don't love it.

41:27

I mean – those numbers maybe he could still be good at those numbers maybe what do you think the final score we always ask the chat this but I'm curious from from your perspective who appear like it's really tricky for me to put my my finger on that one it's like a it's a higher total than I would have expected same yeah same back and forth but what do you think the total what do you think the final game score is something like or what type of score could you see roughly the range of outcomes to me is just very large in this game internally.

41:55

I could see it being like, thirteen to ten, and I could see it being like... Thirty five to thirty years. I mean, I could see it all over the map, I guess. I really struggle to to pinpoint where it's going to be. I mean, it could be anywhere. So I don't know. I don't have a good answer. That's why I asked. But I was just curious because it does kind of to me tie a little bit more to the Swift stuff.

42:16

You can play Swift than anything. I get it. But but title, are you thinking high score, low score? You're just on first glance. What are you thinking? If I had to bet, I'd bet the over. But twenty eight, twenty four, I'll say something like that, which is a good bet over or good. It's well over the over the forty six and a half. But no confidence. I'm not putting my hard earned money on it. So take it with a grain of salt.

42:38

Go ahead. No, I was going to be separate from that. I was just going to say quickly, they just heard us all say, take titles advice. And now the sports books are just getting crushed with exact score. Don't do that to the maximum level. Now, like, Hey, they say that bet every bet he bets, but go ahead. Sorry.

42:56

I was going to say one thing you guys brought up that I think that is definitely important is if you do play JSN captain, do not think that your next click needs to be Sam Darnold flux. Like I don't think you need that at all. And a lot of people just do that by nature. If they're playing a, a captain pass catcher, they think they have to put in the quarterback. And a lot of times it's the right move.

43:18

Like it definitely is the right move more times than not. But tonight, I don't think it's a necessity. I actually like it better with, you know, JSN up top and Caleb in there over Sam Darnold. Yeah, definitely a good way to go about it.

43:31

And I think just go back to captains for a second, because just, you know, using the Caleb conversation as well as if you don't, you know, if you want to get different altogether, if people are on JSN, they're on Darnold, JSN lineups lead to Torrey Horton and Barner and all those guys down there. We know what Darnold lineups lead to JSN and then still down there with those guys.

43:50

Cause if you're putting him, you're going to want to put multiple pass catchers in. So it's like at least one of those two, probably with JSN. If you go Swift up top, those guys can still be used on the Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back. Cause you get JSN. And then once you go Swift, JSN and whatever else, you're probably running out of money too. If you go Caleb up top, that's where you can start getting into the Kalief Raymond of the world.

44:10

And all of a sudden that are literally flipping that build up some for you. So I do think Caleb is interesting up there. He's not, DeAndre Swift, he's not. Darnold on the opposite side, up, up, down, all around. However the game goes over or under, I think it could still make sense and gets you a bit of a more unique build. And then the only other thing is like, nobody really wants these guys, but you know, Burden, Odunze, I don't know.

44:33

I just, anything on those guys title, if you think about flipping it some or like a two, four, or, you know, we talk about all the time, like Odunze up top or Burden up top with Caleb and then other side. Is there any interest in any of that that you can think of? Definitely Burden. I mean, we just saw, was it like two showdown game slates? He just absolutely nuked. He's...

44:52

I know Adunze is out snapping them, and Adunze has looked closer to Burden this year than I expected coming into the year. But it still feels like if someone's the – if someone not named JSN or Swift is the leading – or Caleb or whatever is not the leading scorer on the slate, Burden feels like he has the most – hundred-twenty yard, two touchdown upside. So he'd be the guy I have the most interest in. If you're playing a bunch of teams, sure, you can play Loveland, Adunze.

45:16

Heck, we just saw freaking whatever the – Stevens or whatever the kicker was capped in optimal yesterday. Yeah. When that happens, usually it's lower scoring games or, yeah, just blowouts or something. But, yeah, hopefully we don't get that today. Yeah, it could be a spot tonight if it is the under type of game where you don't need, like somebody said in the chat, the first profit said don't need any quarterbacks. We'll get to that in a second. I will say this, though, too.

45:39

People get this stuff confused all the time. This could be a great bet, and then Swift could still be needed in DFS tonight. It's just how people view stuff. Well, if he's not going to rush for sixty yards, he's not going to be useful at all. We don't know yet. And if it was an under and he caught a bunch of passes and got the touchdowns, he could have forty eight yards. Have two touchdowns just the way it works.

45:58

Odunze get, you know, DPIs and stuff like that. And he gets these touchdowns that way. It's like, yeah, if you say yesterday, people always view that and they always go to the negative outlook of it. Okay. You say yesterday, the Buccaneers are going to complete zero passes today. Oh man, I got to go bad against them. There's no way they're going to win the game if they're not going to complete any passes. Well, actually they won six, it was a shutout, I think.

46:20

Yeah, six, nothing. One of the craziest stat lines of all time.

46:23

I mean, man weather I don't want to get into that stuff but man it's gosh I I should have went to be a meteorologist and then played DFS on weather slates because yeah if I knew I think you're making more than the DFS meteorologist make I guess man if I knew it was gonna look like that I could have made all my I could have made a million betting yesterday and uh and that that's that was wild so tilting yeah All right.

46:49

That's too good. All right. It is wild. One thing about the quarterbacks, because usually we just say this, and we literally just talked about them in captain, and we've been trying to gear it when we get to the position by position to the flex. Today, at least, is somewhat interesting. Hoop already kind of mentioned it, so Hoop, I'll stay with you, but the idea of the chat mentioned it, you mentioned it. You could definitely just run a JSN up top, no quarterback shit.

47:10

We saw a Mackay lemon one five the other night with no quarterback Flex and UTILA standard NFL FLEX accepts a running back, wide receiver or tight end. And especially if you saw a game that did get some defense back and forth and play to the under, you could see it where there's no quarterbacks needed at all. Do you think you'll run any lineups?

47:28

We joke about double kicker hoop and double D's and all that stuff, but any thoughts on no QBs? I think it's, Yeah, it has a chance, I think. I'm a little distracted, though, by the weather. Now I'm kind of curious. I don't want to dunk on someone, but what was the weather rating for that game? Yeah, not high enough. Yeah, as soon as the game comes on, it's like a freaking hurricane. So it's like, okay. And again, I'm not trying to go after it.

48:02

No, no, but it's like... Because I follow him every time. I could do my own research.

48:07

Yeah it goes back to the main point though it's like man like what's the saying you had one job man yeah see who's saying I wish I didn't even bring anything up because I have followed him for many of years and he's done me a lot more right than bad so I'm not here to man I just and I know sometimes I wish I did my own research and yeah because if that was the case yeah you could I mean special prediction markets nowadays you can get as much money possible down and There was no chance you could see first drive that that ball was getting thrown in the air.

48:36

There's no chance. Third and nines were handoffs. Yeah. And shout out Bucky Irving. That dude is a monster. Yeah, he was a beast. But, yeah, if you had proper info on that game, like, we could have hit the mill alongside. We could have hit it alongside Rio without even winning. Less of a sweat. Yeah, way less of a sweat. Hoop got so distracted. I didn't even know your question. I caught the last three words. Hopefully it was a sufficient answer.

49:05

I don't know the chat's backing him up now our boy uh ham hock said he said that he was gonna he said that it was gonna downpour on Twitter before kickoff so I guess title it stands for taking the latest expectations t-I-t-l-e taking the latest expectations you gotta look at that my fault I'll take the blame for I'm not blaming anybody I can do my own research and I didn't do it so You can stay boys now. You can stay homies with your guy.

49:30

He doesn't even probably know who the heck I am. You always give him a shout out, though, which is appreciated. You're never going to say anything bad about anyone, and you're still not, which is amazing. We're good with it. What we were talking about, Hoop, was these quarterbacks. And everyone wants to talk about the running backs anyway, so we'll get there soon.

49:47

But it was just about on this slate, you could swap two QBs possibly for double Ds and get two defenses in there instead and play to the under and just get no quarterbacks at all and just rack it up that way. What do you think? I'm down a rabbit hole now. I'm fully – I'm fine. He's double checking, man. I'm locked back in. I'll say it one more time. We'll go to title on this one. Title.

50:15

Do you think you would build some lineups tonight with no quarterbacks at all? Yes, but when you do, you're definitely playing to the under. I'm almost definitely playing JSN. I'm almost definitely playing DeAndre Swift. I almost want a Price or Charbonnet, which aren't the most comfortable clicks, but you're pretty much saying that they're all pretty much rushing touchdowns or lower, probably almost at least one defense, and then almost maybe at least one kicker. I wouldn't do the kicker thing for sure.

50:46

No quarterbacks, though. You typically do want a defense in there, at least one. You would have to think that Swift or Charbonnet-Price are getting rushing touchdowns instead of throwing. And then JSN just a PPR monster. So I could see it in this game. I think I'm more worried about Caleb. I'd rather Seahawks defense, I think, because Caleb just has so many outs with his legs. And like, eleven points still could be optimal out there. So I'll have some. It's always tough for me, though.

51:15

But yeah, today's a slate where I could totally see it. What about you? Well, we're only slightly removed from Halloween. So, you know, we could see some ghosts. That's, that's Sam. If we get the Bears D on the other side, but who's still digging for carrots over there. I don't have any money, any, any more to really add on the quarterback stuff, but I will say you mentioned price and Charbonnet. So I'll let you segue it into that. Unless who has his findings.

51:37

He, No, we don't need his findings. Let's go. Let's move on to running back. I should have never brought it up. I love title, man. He's just too nice. Okay. Keep going. Keep going. There is a conversation to be had here. You got the props. You're looking at the boards. They're hiding some of them because they're not even sure yet. But how do you really see this playing out? It was like, so price is off.

51:57

The IR, but still could do whatever they want with him. They've got Emmanuel Wilson. They have Holani who's been running routes and catching passes and doing all this stuff. And then they're missing guys that are, they usually have catching passes. And then you've also got Sharbs who's off the ACL, but you know, expected to be back and good to go, but are they going to ease them in? Like, how do you see this playing out on the Seahawks side for starters?

52:17

I think Emmanuel Wilson played good enough for sure where he's going to be in the rotation as well. You really can't take him off the field like all game. Price coming back his first week, Charbonnet coming back his first week. I'm going to agree with props and just think Charbonnet is their goal line back. He's plus one thirty five where you have Emmanuel Wilson and Price both plus three fifty, which leads me to Charbonnet probably be my favorite just for that reason.

52:42

Price looked good before he got injured, but they were very hesitant. The first game of the year, he was crushing, and they just did not want to feed him the ball. I'm very nervous about Price at his price. I plan on being underweight him. Emmanuel Wilson is just so LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage. What are we showing right now? Five percent him, whereas it's twenty percent Price and twenty-one Charbonnet. I'd rank him Charbonnet-Wilson-Price today.

53:09

And I'm confident that sharps the goal line back, but at these prices, like they're seven, four or seven, four Wilson, $7,000 Charbonnet six, four price. They need to really do something. And that's why their OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership is going to be really low. I like a more non QB lineups. Like we're talking if lower scoring games, if you see it that way, Charbonnet is definitely my favorite though. Again, mainly because I think he has the goal line equity on the bear side.

53:33

I definitely need Roshan Johnson at three, four hundred too. We're talking like, about how bad the value is, especially on the bear side, eight percent owned. Again, Swift did play a lot last week, eighty four, eighty six percent to fourteen percent of snaps. But I haven't I didn't think Roshan looked too bad so far in some of his carries. And especially if Seattle does stuff, DeAndre Swift or make it tough on him, maybe Ben Johnson wants a little change of pace.

53:56

So. To be honest, at ownership Flex and UTILA standard NFL FLEX accepts a running back, wide receiver or tight end. In DraftKings NFL Showdown, FLEX instead means a regular-scoring slot alongside Captain, with broader eligibility that includes quarterbacks. Before lock, identify affordable replacements for your latest starter. An open FLEX or UTIL slot helps only if suitable unlocked players remain within your budget.Read the full definition of Flex and UTIL, I think Roshan might be my favorite, but it also gets away from the five, one, the four, two Seahawks more and get you on three, three stuff or maybe four, two Bears. And he fits that a lot easier because you're getting away from the Horton of the world. So we've got to figure out here, Tyler, tell us what to do with this running back spot. He says, got to think Seattle.

54:15

This is interesting to me though, because he says, got to think Seattle wants to get the run game going to ease the workload off JSN and Darnold Sharp also has decent pass catching ability. Yeah. He, you know, all makes sense. The one big thing for me with this is like, this is, if you have a JSN captain, even when there's some sort of clarity, we get closer to lock. I just, people just don't want these running backs.

54:35

Like hoop said earlier, you got, sorry, uh, Nate said in the chat earlier, you gotta, you get forced into a build that puts you, puts you down below. So you're going to, you're going to see that be a way to sort of slice and dice it a little bit.

54:45

But also if you think that's the case, then you got to account for that when you're not putting JSN up top, because then it's kind of like, um, we reviewed Rio's lineup yesterday and everyone was like, it's crazy. He had two tight ends and Phantom was one of them, but he had Wilson over here. It's like he played two cheap tight ends. The only guy that really had ownership at expensive tight end was McBride, and he accounted for that in that line.

55:07

I know an OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. It uses projected fantasy points, your settings and, in some tools, simulations to select combinations for a chosen goal.Build a small test batch first. Check which players and combinations repeat, and investigate why before increasing the lineup count or changing settings.Read the full definition of Optimizer did it, but I'm saying at the end of the day, that's how it's thinking. We talked about it on the show, too. A lot of that we talked about. Burrow, we loved. Chase, Higgins. Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up at wide receiver. Don't punt the value. Michael Wilson, Higgins, Chase. And I mean, double tight ends Ben Sharp almost every single week. And we made sure to say that on the show.

55:26

And I didn't want to victory lap any of that because, yeah, we didn't win any of the money. But it was really, really clear, especially Gunnar Helm, who we talked about. I even said that's my favorite value in that game because Wandale, I'm a more or I'm a more whatever the heck his name is. They're all cheeks. Wandale got lucky to even get there. They're way higher on when manure is like cow poop. That's amazing. He just said he's like he's cow.

55:48

He's pure shit. All right, go ahead. Whatever it was. But I mean, like, yeah, whatever people want. That was a beautifully constructed team. And yeah, I didn't even put together the fan and against Steelers defense. And to be honest, I like hardly even looked at that game because it was such a block. I did not. I didn't know fan and did anything until I saw the most surprising part of the lineup. I was like, oh, my God. Yeah. Yeah.

56:10

That's what I was saying get it done but he was also against the ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Read the full definition of Chalk spend up defense and again people this is the best part about DFS because you guys know I love the education side and DFS Mastermind all that stuff and get in takedown breakdown for years nobody watches it it's like well sweet we'll just keep learning from guys like rio they got the sauce and put it out there and We look into all these portfolios and shit and see what people are up to.

56:32

And then you can go out and play. Rio literally was on there, texted in the chat about what he was doing, how he went and adjusted all the defenses. When you adjust all the pay up defenses and move them up, it made it so you could now get cheap, double tight end lineups, which not as many people were on as usual. We'd seen it all season long.

56:51

Not as many this week because so many running backs and we already had cheap wide receivers. So you don't need to do this stuff. It just was beautiful the way it was all put together, but he controlled it and it worked out and that's the best part of it. But you can go check that out earlier. It's a free show. Take down, break down. Rio's right on there talking about how he built his portfolio for the Milly Maker yesterday.

57:09

So yeah, Hoop, I'll go to you on these running backs and get some thoughts here. I do like one. All the Seattle stuff's great, but I love what title brought up about Roshan. $3,400. You already didn't love Swift. And so even especially if you're talking in the flex particularly and using them there, you could have Roshan at thirty four when most will be on Torrey Horton at $2,800. He's right there as a flip. There's other guys, too.

57:32

I'm just saying that that stands out to me right away as a thought. Yeah, I definitely like Swift way more in the flex. It's a high floor sort of play. I'm struggling to find the ceiling, I guess, in the play. I mean, he obviously could get there with that sort of workload, but I like the high floor nature of Swift, so good with him in the flex and good with Roshon Johnson.

57:55

The Seattle stuff is definitely way more difficult just because the price tags are all up there, so you're paying a premium.

58:01

And like we always say on the show, their price where – Charbonnet and price are priced where you got to do something plus so you got to do something and then you probably got to do a little bit more it's not just you know fall in the end zone they probably need some yards to come along with it so they're at the do something plus range and I'm kind of uncomfortable with that so I'll just rank them swift Johnson um Charbonnet then price and uh emmanuel Wilson at $7,400 just to me just has to be unplayable trying to see this here too just to see there was from one hour ago talking about his judarian price playing against the Bears I don't see any real we

58:43

Have we have a plan for zach and with jd said on Saturday doesn't have a designation so I'm assuming he's in Yeah, the Seahawks don't have to activate Price on Monday, but they have two more weeks to make a decision on his status before they'd be required to move to seizing ending injured reserve.

59:04

So this is, yeah, this is from an hour ago, but on the chance, it says on the off chance that he isn't activated for week eight, Charbonnet would Likely share the workload with Wilson, which we know all this. I'm just saying, try to get the latest news. That's from one hour ago. So it's the best we can get. Up to date for you guys on this show, but, um, wide receiver, then hoop. I'll, I'll let you go ahead with that one.

59:22

I, you know, the other stuff I'm going to wait to figure out, but I'll let you start at wide receiver there beyond just, we know JSN, but you know, no Shahid, right? No Vilas Jones jr. They're already, we're missing some guys and have guys out, but give us your thoughts here at wide receiver. They have pretty clear clean position. I should say in terms of like who you want on the Seattle side.

59:41

Clearly you know JSN Cooper Cup in theory should get a little bit of a boost, but I don't know if he really does. I mean to me Horton is more of like a pass catching guy than Shaheed. So he's kind of turned into this.

59:53

Gimmicky you know just random player punt return sort of thing so you know jsn cooper cup Flex and UTILA standard NFL FLEX accepts a running back, wide receiver or tight end. In DraftKings NFL Showdown, FLEX instead means a regular-scoring slot alongside Captain, with broader eligibility that includes quarterbacks. Before lock, identify affordable replacements for your latest starter. 1:00:16

Uh well yeah no I mean we're showing under twenty so as long as that remains in place I mean a really strong option I think Horton is on the bear side Burton dunzey and then Raymond and I just don't really want to mess with the the super cheap dudes I just don't think it's all that needed so kind of just sticking with the the main guys uh Horton's a phenomenal value on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. 1:00:43

I guess I thought Horton would be just much higher on knowing that Shaheed out. He's only $2,800. We're showing fifteen. I just looked at another source. They're under twenty percent as well. So it seems like that could be the case. And if that is the case, just to make some really good play. Yeah, I think we'll see how it shakes out by Locke.

1:01:02

The other thing, that's why I kept mentioning the other is like, I think he's also everyone's double dip hope on this slate because with no Shahid and no Vilas Jones Jr., you're getting him sliding in for potentially both roles, right? Punt returner, kick returner, whatever they decide to use him like on offense, they have in the past. So, It just shows, right? You know, this position is quite interesting for this slate outside of all the running back conversation title.

1:01:25

But, you know, Cup is right in the middle there and he's kind of getting held in check as well because most of the builds don't land on him or most builds already are accounting for JSN, as we know, and for good reason. So it's like, well, I don't need Cup two, do I? Or I wouldn't get to Cup two. So you think about that and how it sort of fits into it.

1:01:41

And then, of course, the Chicago guys not getting much love at all on this slate. So give me your thoughts of the wide receiver position. Starting with Seattle, I agree with Nades here. I think it's probably going to be about thirty percent. I'm going to update how I build and put that in. I just don't see any way. I don't know where people would really go in terms of value. I'm still going to play some at thirty percent.

1:02:02

He's going to be out there a bunch and I think he's actually a pretty good receiver. Just don't zero it out or leave two hundred. And I don't know. I just don't think he's fifteen percent, which then makes Cup even more intriguing for me, since I do think he stays where he's at. And it's some LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. If Cup has a great game, Torrey Horton probably isn't having as good of one.

1:02:21

Jsn I mean just seeing him fifty eight percent in the flex I just the thing naturally I'm gonna be overweight captain underweight flex hope he fully gets there or really flops and then gets outscored by caleb or darnell this or some other Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up on the bear side I talked about Luther love him and I like him I like him more in flex but I'm fine with him captain to be honest I like all these Bears guys and it kind of comes back to and all these Bears guy meaning dunesay clee freeman cliff Raymond and Burden And it comes back to when you are overweight on these guys, it's easier to get off the four, two, five, one Seahawks and tilt it more to the Bears stuff.

1:02:57

So, yeah, I definitely like the Bears receivers, all three of them. They play three receivers. It's those three every single time pretty much. They're not really rotating anyone else in. Zavian Thomas, Jadae Walker. Like, yeah, if you're playing a hundred fifty, what did they get last week? Three snaps for Walker and five snaps for Thomas. The week prior was a little more, but I don't know.

1:03:19

I don't know what happened in that game, if it was blood or injuries or whatever, because that looked like an anomaly. So, Burden, Odunze, Raymond, I think are all great flex plays. Yeah, another one just because the chat said it. We're all expecting Price to play. That's exactly what it is. But even this was another one just came up. I read it here. This was from just today.

1:03:38

And it says McDonald's said, it's their coach, that the coaching staff has a plan for Charbonnet, but it was different for Price. He said, and with JD, I think if we were to make a move, I think that would happen on Monday. So we'll, we'll see what's going to happen when we get closer to, I would expect them, but just, you know, so people know we've got to, you got to still wait.

1:03:58

You got to always wait for the latest information as we talk about with weather and all those other things. So I'll be waiting to find that out, but going back to it here, you know, Burden Odunze for me, just looking at it from the other side, I think just because they sort of split the middle, there's going to be a more balanced Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. 1:04:16

You can make anything work with the values, but I mean, in a lineup that I would want when you've got, I don't know, JSN, Darnold and Horton. And then you can get to those guys. Great. But that's how everybody else would get to them too. So it's like, just thinking about it from that perspective, it's going to be a little bit different. I think it's crazy. Like you said earlier, title, how it's like a three point game, but it's cool. We've seen crazy shit happen all season.

1:04:40

It would not be shocking to me in the least. I, you know, you talk about Ben Johnson being involved on both sides of the ball as much just a fired up head coach that he is. He wants to win this game. Everyone always gives these Seahawks the love. They're Super Bowl champions. Like, this is it. We got to come out and get the job done. So, I think those guys are just getting really overlooked.

1:05:00

And it's also because of not just the price in the captain for JSM, but just the price in general. Once you put a twelve K guy in there, even in the flex, it's just not as a common to build where you're going to land on those guys on the opposite side. So if they're I mean, I'm seeing those guys both being around thirty five percent or less. 1:05:19

These are wide receiver ones and twos for a team in a three-point game with a forty-six-point total that you said maybe could go over. How are you looking at this and saying they should be that low-owned? I don't know. But it's all down to roster construction. I think that's what it tells. So for me, pretty interesting for tonight's slate. The other side... Cup is probably the most interesting just because the fact that he's just sliced up the middle of all that stuff, right?

1:05:42

It's going to be Horton or JSN or both. And, you know, a lot of people will struggle to get to all of them. He'll still be owned, but he's sub-twenty altogether, it looks like, with captain and that. And again, not saying to get him up in the captain, but in the flex. Could be interesting when you've got that money to get to him as opposed to just playing Horton. Most times, leave the money on the table.

1:06:00

But in this case, you know, you'd probably still have some money on the table, but could still play a guy... That ends up being pretty low owned in the flex. So anything else to follow up with their hoop? If not, you can take us into the tight end position here. Yeah, I mean, I already like Colston, you know, potentially playing him up top as well. I think Barner is, we've talked about it with Seattle, kind of wide receiver two, and he's only $4,600.

1:06:23

So I really like Barner tonight. And then, you know, if you want some of these other guys, I think there is better for like the quarterback captain teams, specifically Roush. And that title is really good about the snap count thing. I'm curious if you have it up, how many snaps that guy got because he has a decent ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. He played fourteen snaps last week, but there's no Cole Komet. Cole Komet played in that last game. Ten receiving yards.

1:06:50

Komet, did he play the whole game, Komet? No, I think he got hurt, so he played. Yeah, at some point, yeah. Yeah, I want to say he got hurt in the second half. I'm not a hundred percent sure there, but, you know. Yeah, because he slides into that role. I mean, it's legit because Komet's out there quite a bit. So I do have interest in him at twelve hundred. Again, probably better suited for like Caleb captain teams.

1:07:12

But at twelve hundred, yeah, I'd be fine with that. But, you know, definitely Barner a ton at $4,600. Really good play in that like Loveland to five thirty left in the fourth quarter last game. Oh, okay. So he's right at the end. Okay. Yeah, ten receiving yards, a little juice on the over. So he's going to be out there. He's my favorite tight end play. Yeah, that's a good one. Who's that? Roush. He's twelve hundred.

1:07:35

Again, when you're trying to get away from the Torrey Horton, that's four or two Bears. Everyone's playing the Seattle stuff, so I'm trying to find value on the Bears side. I like the three main receivers. I think Roush is interesting, and I think Roush is interesting at twelve hundred. Yeah, I think the Barner one, just going back to it, I missed this earlier. I guess you could say it for Loveland, but we like the Seahawks.

1:07:58

I actually think Barner captain, now that I go back to it, just looking at it, $6,900 bucks up top. I just don't feel as good about it with. You know, like Horton or cup or, you know, figuring it out. And even the running backs go up to almost a let ten to eleven K. So it's like if I'm really trying to flip the build and something that cuts in between all of it, it would probably be that.

1:08:18

And then you could still play GSN Flex and UTILA standard NFL FLEX accepts a running back, wide receiver or tight end. Obviously, it's like, again, depends on how the game scores and how it plays out. But I think Barner is more interesting there. I like him. I like your Roush call Loveland in the flex. I think he's sort of in that range. You've got Rome. I probably would. I would probably still land on Rome more than Loveland.

1:08:36

Just the the spot here for two hundred bucks less lower owned if you're bringing a bring back I think a lot of people just see Loveland and land on them but I think Loveland is the guy with more one up top and you think he's going to be part of the reason the Bears win than I would of just use them in that Flex One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. 1:09:02

We talked defenses already hoop a little bit earlier, but what do you got for the kickers here? Santos and Myers. Where's the, where's the game log watching? My Myers is one of my favorite dudes on these Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. I mean, he's all we, let's see. He hasn't had, it's not crazy, but he hasn't had a full bus this year. I mean, six is the lowest.

1:09:24

He's got a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a Santos as well, but prefer Myers.

1:09:44

I mean, Santos has some big boy games as well. In terms of the defenses, you know, Seattle's defense, I think, is always a strong option. So probably, you know, more defense than usual. But out of the four, Myers is definitely my favorite. All right. Title, anything you want to add on kickers and defenses here?

1:10:04

I mean, probably going to be a donkey again and be overweight on these defenses because they're twelve percent and twelve percent, whereas the kickers are looking at double I had a bunch of Commanders, I guess, yesterday, and it worked out. People are probably like, you said the over and that. Again, I was asked a question. I said it. I trust Vegas, forty six and a half. That's not too bad of one.

1:10:24

And when I'm not playing quarterbacks or if I'm underweight there again, I do think it makes a lot of sense to play quarterbacks. If you're not playing any quarterback in any lineup, I almost surely would play, especially hand-building one. And then, yeah, Sam Darnold, you mentioned, maybe he sees ghosts. He can't move. Bears defense, I think, is pretty interesting. They get Simmons. Who knows how much he plays today. I think he'll be out there a little bit, though.

1:10:46

And if I already liked DeAndre Swift quite a bit, it just adds another reason to like Bears defense, them control the game, play from ahead, and make the Seahawks get into very obvious passing situations. Yeah. A lot more to shake out with the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Like we talked about waiting, somebody posted, we only got an hour to go until we get some of the news. So we'll, we'll see on like the price stuff or all that stuff.

1:11:06

But I would say that it is really interesting to me if this holds true on the kickers over the defenses, I would just flip those. Right? Play, I'd probably play more of the defenses, less of the kickers, but that's just on this slate. Depends on how you're building. I don't, I don't know. Like, I feel like the defenses, we always get this. And then they talk about like offensive mind, Ben Johnson, like the other team with JSN and the high powered this and all of that.

1:11:30

Obviously anything could happen. We talk about this all the time, but I think that, there's a chance that sometimes we see those games and then the game is the defense showing up. And I know that people say, well, that could mean kickers too. It could. You might need a lot of that. You might need kickers and defenses. I'm just saying it's weird to me that the kickers are, you know, twenty to thirty percent in some places.

1:11:50

And then the D's are, you know, ten to twelve or something like that. Just doesn't doesn't seem what I would what I would have expected. So I'm good. I'm good with the D's over the kickers here for sure. What do you think on this? I just did my own research. I don't see anything, but take that with a grain of salt. It's going to be a little cold. If it was titled the DFS weather, man, what color code would you use?

1:12:14

Green. Green. Let's go, baby. We're in the green tonight. That's what it means. Here we come. Turn on the game and it's raining in Seattle and I'll just retire. Oh man. Kickers have been pretty bad this season. When you think about a lot of like, I just can, all I can think about is the misses. I guess that's normal.

1:12:32

It feels like all the time you just see them line up and you're like, man, are they even going to make this right now? You know, you're, you're already thinking about it before it even happens. So we'll see. All right. FanDuel hoop. Anything you see over on the FanDuel side of things when you first glance here? The Seattle running backs are even more expensive. Charbonnet, $9,400 price, eighty six and. Emmanuel Wilson, $10,000.

1:13:03

So if you want a super ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. AJ Barner, though, $3,000 $3,000. Super, super cheap over there. Is there anything else that stood out? Horton's down at twenty six. That Roush guy, basically the minimum he's at twelve hundred. So, you know, even on FanDuel where like one touchdown is probably good enough, like he definitely fits it over there quite well. Kind of it, what stands out.

1:13:36

Yeah, definitely those Seattle running backs are tough clicks for sure. People already love the quarterback and the top guy MVPs. So like, you know, title Darnold and JSN up top. But when you get that, when you get that burner price over there, it just tells you where there's going to be fifty percent MVP on those two guys. Probably. Come on. And I get it. And I understand all of it. I'm just saying, man, that is, it's nuts.

1:14:00

And then it's sometimes it's a ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value play that just bolsters it, right? It makes it way easier to even get JSN up there. It's makes you validate. Okay. If I got Darnold, it's obviously JSN and Barner. I would think about that when you're building as well, because a, it could be the running game B, which nobody wants to take a shot on them at those prices.

1:14:18

And then B it's a, if you go with Darnold and it's really hard to get away from JSN, I get that. So then maybe it's, you know, cup, instead of, you know, cup is up at $5,400 over there. It seems disgusting. Great. But it's not disgusting enough that he can't get there at that price tag. It's just he's not $3,000 like Barner. So I'll be looking at it from that perspective, at least on my end. Anything else you saw on the Fandles side?

1:14:42

Yeah, the Torrey Horton, A.J. Barner for sure will be popular like we saw. Roshon Johnson, a lot more expensive, $5,800 more than Cup, more than Raymond, more than those guys. He's going to be really LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. I think the Bears receivings or receivers and Colson Loveland have solid prices. 1:15:08

I think at ownership there. Also great plays, and then, yeah, kickers will be just like on DraftKings, a lot higher, maybe even more so on FanDuel than DraftKings. So I think defenses are a lead over there as well to get different. If this happens, we'll all be very excited, I think, based on what we've talked about on the show. I'll take the one-yard tush-push for Barner. That's added value, and it just crushes Darnold and JSN even more.

1:15:35

Neither of them get acting on that, and so it's just him busting it in. I'd be thrilled. That's a possibility for sure. Yeah. It's like I said, I think Marner's interesting, but not like he's not going to be owned. It's just how do people play him? That's what it's always going to come down to. So on FanDuel, you know where it's going to be. It's going to be right in the, the any flex with one of those two guys, his dudes up top.

1:15:54

So maybe it's a, you know, do a Caleb, captain where most would have Darnold and you're sorry, Caleb MVP on FanDuel to stay with the FanDuel thoughts. And you've got him Flex and UTILA standard NFL FLEX accepts a running back, wide receiver or tight end. Like last night, what are we doing watching the Commanders against McKee? At least we get two respectable offenses and defenses, so I'm excited for this one. The irony to that, I will say as a Ravens fan, was we spoke all morning, many people across Discord shows, et cetera, of like, why isn't this game the Sunday night football game? It definitely should be. And it still would have been better, actually.

1:17:36

But just to note it, imagine we get that game in prime time and then Lamar comes out and busts his thumb on the first one and now he's out for the season. Are they going to get Jacobs? How would you feel about that? Sure. Garbage time points count the same.

1:17:50

We always say it, but I would say the funniest one I saw was if they could trade for Gardner Minshew and then get the revenge game for Minshew right away on Thursday night football going against the Jags. That would be cool. I'd like to see that. The season's a goner. It doesn't matter. Like it's over now. So what about Danny dimes? Danny dimes. Definitely not. I don't want him. Sorry. Dollars. Dollars. Dollars. He flips it. There's more title advice for you guys.

1:18:22

Dollars. He'll take your dollars. Anything from you, man. Final thoughts before we get out of here. Well, good luck to everyone. That was a lot of fun talking to Rio in the opening. So if you are joining in late, make sure you go back and listen. It's cool to get into the mindset of someone that just won a million dollars in the most coveted prize of our industry. So that was cool. A lot of fun.

1:18:45

And let's piggyback off that success tonight and continue on and get some of those Ship It Nation logos at the top. Yeah, we'd love to see that. If you guys want to join us over in the Ship It Nation community, we just launched our rest of season pricing. We're only eight weeks. We're just about to finish up eight weeks, but there's a lot of football left. This is the entire NFL season right through the Super Bowl.

1:19:05

So it includes the playoffs, Super Bowl, everything. One forty nine includes the content only. If you want to get SaberSim with it, it is one ninety nine. And you can see it here on the screen. Very simple. Just go to Ship It Nation dot com. Click see prices. Go down NFL, decide you want the content only or the NFL plus SaberSim. And when you choose the plan, there's no code required.

1:19:26

It just does it right up for you at the one ninety nine or the one forty nine. So you guys can go check it out. Join us. Hop in the Discord, man. It's a lot of fun. Just ask Rio. Yes. It was an awesome time. Shout out again to Rio. Amazing stuff. Appreciate him hopping on. All the support is amazing to see across just for him, for the company, for everybody involved. So congrats to Rio Hebrew Cheetah.

1:19:44

Thank you to everybody for all your support, for Title, for Hoop, for myself, Toe Tag, and Tambo. Good luck in your contest tonight. Let's ship it.
