NFL Week 5 – Sunday Shippers | Main Slate | DraftKings & FanDuel DFS Picks, Plays and Process

Aired Sun Oct 11, 2026 Hosts Mike Petta, Tyler Tamboline & Zach Trivett Runtime 1:38:34 Chapters 19 Views 4,536

The Short Version

Mike Petta, Tyler Tamboline and Zach Trivett break down an eleven-game slate dominated by the Lions-Cardinals stack and its massive ownership. Six-player stacks, different pass catchers and builds without Gibbs offer ways to separate. Jonathan Taylor is a strong tournament alternative, with three-touchdown upside and projected ownership around 8–10%. Pairing him with Pittsburgh receivers lets lineups retain Detroit-Arizona exposure without copying the most common construction.

Cheap Drake Maye stacks and Kyler Murray with Justin Jefferson offer alternatives that leave room for popular skill players. Jefferson playing with Addison out strengthens Minnesota stacks, while Chase and Higgins being active keeps Cincinnati appealing. Brock Bowers ($7,000) offers a tight-end pivot from McBride. The hosts disagree on Jameson Williams, Kendrick Bourne and Trey Harris. Late swaps should reflect remaining upside and contest payouts, rather than automatically abandoning chalk after a mediocre start.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
Joe Burrow + Ja'Marr Chase + Tee Higgins OVERWEIGHT The stated plan was to exceed the field on Burrow and his active receivers, and both receivers were subsequently confirmed in with Burrow at $6,900. 10:41
VALUE At $4,600, designed rushing work and a trusted receiving role in an offense expected to trail make him a useful cheap receiver. 16:08
LEVERAGE A tournament pivot from McBride who can match his production while the field concentrates on Detroit-Arizona tight ends. 19:54
VALUE At $6,500, recent workloads of 28, 23 and 23 touches plus receiving work justify interest regardless of whether the Saints' run defense is as bad as its results. 31:42
VALUE A $5,400 starting back with a large workload frees salary for studs, despite concerns about his efficiency and matchup. 34:38
ONE-OFF At $6,600, limited target competition and the potential for nearly ten targets support using him as an individual piece. 34:38
The hosts were split between an explicit zero-exposure stance and including him in some speculative Browns-Jets constructions. 39:29
OVERWEIGHT Around 10% ownership with Pittman out was attractive enough to exceed the field on his upside as an individual piece. 42:34
VALUE At $3,700, Pittman's absence and renewed involvement open spending room elsewhere, with explicit interest in exceeding the field. 43:24
OVERWEIGHT The stated plan was to exceed the field on his individual role while Dowdle remains out, rather than needing a Rodgers stack. 43:24
FADE Explicitly excluded while the Colts-Steelers skill players were preferred as individual pieces and secondary combinations. 46:18
The hosts were split between possible game stacks built around his cheap receivers and explicitly using only Pittsburgh's individual skill players. 46:18
OVERWEIGHT Three-touchdown upside makes roughly 15% exposure appealing if the field lands near 8%, particularly as an alternative to automatically spending on Gibbs. 47:43
ONE-OFF Explicitly endorsed as a one-off, with later discussion also supporting him as a Houston stack run-back. 48:46
ONE-OFF Explicitly endorsed as a one-off even without committing to a full Houston stack. 49:09
C.J. Stroud + Nico Collins + Carnell Tate IN PLAY A low-owned stack that leaves room for Detroit-Arizona pieces, with Tate an optional run-back after twelve and nine targets in his previous two games. 49:53
Cam Ward + Carnell Tate UNDERWEIGHT For the Houston-Tennessee stack under discussion, Ward was rejected in favor of paying roughly $1,000 more for the also-low-owned Stroud. 50:43
VALUE At $3,800, no Stefon Diggs and potentially limited McLaurin snaps create a path to leading the receiving group after eight targets last week. 51:32
ONE-OFF An individual upside play because Winston will feed his top receiver. 52:26
VALUE At $4,300, his targets with Winston make him a strong cheap tight end and a way to use two tight ends while affording expensive skill players. 54:10
Commanders DST CHALK Expected to be especially popular on FanDuel at $3,300, with later discussion discouraging automatically adding it to already chalky tournament builds. 54:50
Tyson Bagent + Luther Burden III LEVERAGE Bagent at $4,700 with Burden offers leverage off popular Swift builds, although the hosts were split on preferring Chicago or Green Bay stacks. 56:27
ONE-OFF A good play on both sites with Monangai out, and his receiving ability also allows him to fit alongside his quarterback. 56:27
Jordan Love + Tucker Kraft + D'Andre Swift or Luther Burden III IN PLAY Love stacks with Bears run-backs were endorsed as the total climbed to 47.5, although the hosts disagreed about which offense to stack. 57:53
The hosts were split between using substantial amounts of the $4,100 receiver and preferring other cheap receivers because a depleted Chargers offense could fail. 1:02:53
The $3,600 tight end was discussed as a possible beneficiary instead of the popular receiver, but concerns remained about his place in the tight-end rotation. 1:05:14
At $4,500, his increasing involvement and checkdowns were interesting, but no firm recommendation followed. 1:05:14
Floated as an afternoon late-swap option, alone or with Denver's defense, if the Broncos dominate the depleted Chargers. 1:05:54
VALUE At $5,300, goal-line work and exposure to a 25-point team total offer savings, even with Holani mixing into the backfield. 1:07:30
PAY UP The $8,800 salary is difficult to fit with Gibbs, but the receiving talent and potentially lower ownership still warrant including him in tournament builds. 1:09:50
ONE-OFF His strong receiving role makes him a preferred individual piece from San Francisco while attention goes to other tight ends. 1:11:05
FADE They could not justify the salary against Seattle without the enormous workload that previously made him a staple. 1:11:29
Sam Darnold + Jaxon Smith-Njigba + George Kittle IN PLAY Pairing Darnold with a ceiling game from Smith-Njigba and bringing back Kittle was an option, though the hosts were split on using Darnold. 1:12:08
Kyler Murray + Justin Jefferson + Chris Olave IN PLAY With Jefferson expected to play and Addison out, this combination was endorsed for larger contests as a more balanced construction that avoids simply filling receiver with cheap chalk. 1:19:56
FADE Explicitly not playable for DFS despite acknowledging that his touchdowns could undermine the popular game builds. 1:23:31
OVERWEIGHT Heavy exposure was advocated at roughly 10% ownership as a shootout receiver preferred to Harris, though the hosts were split and also argued for only a little exposure based on his receiving prop. 1:24:34
ONE-OFF A preferred Detroit-Arizona skill-position piece even at substantial ownership, including alongside a different game's quarterback stack. 1:26:57
The hosts were split between enthusiasm for lower-owned access to the shootout and concern that his receiving and touchdown props did not justify the ownership. 1:26:57
The hosts were split between using his big-play ability to build for a shootout and avoiding a receiver with a receiving prop around 24 yards. 1:27:29
Drake Maye + Romeo Doubs or Hunter Henry OVERWEIGHT Cheap skinny stacks let lineups exceed the field on a low-owned quarterback and pass catcher while filling out with Detroit-Arizona skill players. 1:29:34
ONE-OFF A strong skill-position piece even at ownership, with the ability to separate at tight end and fit alongside another tight end. 1:29:34
The hosts were split between avoiding his uncertain share with Allgeier and considering the unowned $6,100 back in alternate game-stack constructions. 1:31:41
Jared Goff + Amon-Ra St. Brown + Jameson Williams + Sam LaPorta + Kendrick Bourne IN PLAY This overstack was proposed for tournaments as a way to play the shootout without Gibbs, Michael Wilson or McBride, with Jeremiyah Love another possible addition. 1:32:05
UNDERWEIGHT The hosts were split: he remained an excellent play, but preferred large-field Detroit-Arizona builds were also described without him, using Taylor and Pittsburgh pieces instead. 1:32:50
LEVERAGE A way to get different within Detroit-Arizona because considerably more lineups will select McBride at tight end. 1:33:34

DFS Terms Used on This Show

SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 1:07 OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 1:43 LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 9:56 Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 16:08 Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 18:46 ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 19:33 PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. Tournament pivots usually seek comparable scoring upside at lower ownership, meaning fewer competing lineups use them. Before swapping, check what the replacement changes around it: your remaining salary, teammates, opposing players and available later-starting options.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 19:54 ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 20:25 Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 22:36 Stars and ScrubsStars and scrubs is a DFS lineup structure where you spend heavily on several expensive players and fill other roster spots with low-salary players. The cheap players free up salary for the stars; they are not necessarily bad players.Compare the points you gain by upgrading to a star with the points you sacrifice at the cheap spot. Check whether both players still fit your lineup's scoring scenario.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 24:14 Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 32:42 ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 35:19 One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 48:46 Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 55:42 Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 57:53 Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 1:05:54 Min-CashA min-cash is the smallest prize in a contest, earned by finishing just inside the paid places. In tournaments it is usually a small multiple of the entry fee.Do not judge a tournament slate by how many lineups min-cashed. Track your top finishes, since that is where tournament profit actually comes from.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 1:13:52 Balanced BuildA balanced build spreads salary fairly evenly across a lineup, using mostly mid-priced players instead of a few stars and several minimum-salary players.Go balanced when the slate lacks trustworthy cheap plays. Forcing stars and scrubs without real value just fills your lineup with players who have no role.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 1:20:16 Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 1:26:28 GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 1:32:50 Multi-EntryMulti-entry means entering more than one lineup into the same contest. A contest's entry limit, such as 3, 20 or 150, sets how many lineups one user can submit.Set your total spend for the slate first, then divide it into entries. Multi-entry should spread a fixed budget across more outcomes, not raise how much you put at risk.Full explanation ↗▶ Said at 1:34:42

What's up everyone Tyler Tamboline here aka ToeTagginTambo back for another edition of Sunday shippers here on the Ship It Nation YouTube station we got week five NFL DFS coming up whoop title here with me as usual hit that thumbs up make sure to subscribe to the channel we got some big announcements when it comes to Ship It Games shout out to our guy sharks we'll get to that in a moment but hoop bring you in first man another week on tap and this is a good one eleven games where there's really one game but we will talk about all eleven and then eventually we'll get to that one that everybody wants to talk about but how you doing my friend what's going on Yeah, doing well.

1:07

Started to break down the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗, obviously. Week five, I mean, led us off with a pretty big upset. I mean, the Cowboys, oh, man, that was tough to watch. But hopefully get some good football today. In terms of this slate specifically, I mean, definitely unique in the aspect that, you know, we have one game that has a massive total sitting at, fifty five ish, fifty five and a half in some spots and then nothing else really within ten points.

1:35

You know, the Lions Cardinals that game, obviously, and we've seen the Lions defense is complete and utter dog shit. We've seen that all season. We were ahead of that.

1:43

We were talking about it week one and here we are week five and it's as bad as ever and everyone's seen it massive OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ in that game all around so I mean it's really the big talking point the biggest talking point of the slate like how do you if you are playing that game how do you play it um if you're building other stacks do you include a lot of pieces of that game it's by far the the biggest talking point uh on this slate and it's going to be you know pretty much every game every stack We probably talk about, you know, there's going to be some conversation within that of, you know, what do you do with that Lions and Cardinals game as well?

2:20

Because it is super important. So we'll talk about it. But yeah, I mean, eleven games. So we're kind of windling them down a little bit. Things are getting spread out. We have the sun to be at the game this morning, the Jaguars and Eagles as well. So, yeah, excited to talk through this one with you guys. It's always like a home game for the Jags over there. And I believe they feel like back-to-back weeks. They're staying over there to play back-to-back international games.

2:44

So they love the Jags over there. Title, bring you in, man. I know you have the props, the weather going today. Definitely going to be some weather conversations. Obviously, I love how Hoop teed it up there. Almost even when you're talking about the early games, there is going to be conversation there. About that Detroit-Arizona game and how you might be handling that with some of the stacks or ways that you're building.

3:02

But I think we're going to kick it off with an interesting one when we do get there. But first up, how you doing, my friend? Another free money Sunday ahead of us here. Yeah. Doing great. Every Sunday is a great day over here. I'm definitely interested. Uh, haven't built yet for the main slate as usual, but yeah, what you guys say about this game, other possible games.

3:19

I mean, every single conversation and game we talk about all eleven or pretty much ten, we'll have some sort of line Cardinals talk. Can this game match it? Is it low enough owned to play it with this game? Yada, yada, yada. It's one of the most unique slates I can remember in a long time.

3:35

And truly, I cannot remember, um, a slate like this and I've been playing for over a decade for tournaments there probably has been but I I truly cannot remember what that slate was we play a lot of DFS so um yeah Yeah, it makes for a lot of fun. I think this is going to be a good one to go through. It is a tricky one because of that one game.

3:52

But before we get into it, just want to let you guys know a couple of things. First off, over at ShipItNation.com, we're just going to focus on one thing. If you're not in there by now, I don't know what you're doing. We've had some good conversations across these shows in the Discord, whatever. But ShipIt Games now shows $50,000 cash and prizes. If you go to ShipItGames.com, you will see that all you need to do is become a member.

4:14

All access or NFL only anytime there are still spots open in this week's Golden shipper and the reason we bring this up is because we say it all the time we're we're a smaller community we came you know we started three and a half years ago versus most of the other sites have been in the space forever that you follow along with nobody is giving away $50,000 right off the top but I can promise you the bigger part and I told you this before shout out to our guy sharks We say it all the time.

4:36

No community is even giving away $5,000. We have a frickin member in our community shipping $40,000, giving away over ten percent of his prize money back to the community. If that doesn't show what that word actually means, I don't know what was. But shout out to sharks, by the way. Back-to-back years doing this donation. We edited the graphic for a new avatar that he's changed to over the past year inside Chivit Nation.

5:00

But you can't say enough thanks, gratitude to a guy like Sharks who's just crushing it out there and getting the job done and then giving back to everybody. So the prize pool has been adjusted. There's currently twelve Golden ship at ticket holders. There's a bunch more to go up to fifty. The prizes have been adjusted. $12,000, $6,000, $3,000. Now everybody's getting at least twelve hundred for the top ten when it finishes out. So I got to say that.

5:22

And then another guy just going back to it. This is another cool story. B-Wald. B-Wald took seven hundred fifty bucks last week, turned it into $71,000 and thanked us that you had the avatar up showing and showing the love. We appreciate you, B-Wald. Congrats. Just a huge, life changing win. Love to see that. And then he says, you know what? It only took me seven fifty to win. So let me give seven fifty back.

5:45

So this week in the Golden shipper, not only are the people playing in that contest playing for the three Golden ship of tickets, but there's going to be, what was it? I think it was, um, four, fifty, two, fifty. No, it was like four hundred, two, fifty, one hundred. First, second, and third are going to get cash prizes from B-Wald on top of winning their Golden ship of tickets and getting into the share ship next week.

6:07

Appreciate you guys not sure uh you know hoop title you guys got anything to add there but I just think it's just incredible to see that kind of stuff every single week and just all this stuff just blows my mind when we get to it I mean yeah the generosity the generosity is out of the charts for sure so I mean no one has to do that by any means we don't ask people when you win to give back that is truly from their hearts reaching out what they want to do back-to-back years Yeah.

6:31

And that's a lot of cheese. So that shows, I mean, sharks is in the NHL Discord. If anyone, I know it's a niche sport, but he grinds and helps the NHL channel all the time. So shout out to both of you guys. Congrats on huge wins. I saw another chat earlier, J rod. He won. Sorry. He won. But you got it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he won $10,000 last week because the show we love to see that stuff.

6:52

I mean, as Jay Walker, when he kept like one or two lineups in because of the show with I forget who it was that came through. I think it's cool stuff. Yeah, it's not. You're not coming on to the show and we're going to say Jameer Gibbs is having forty four DraftKings points or whatever. Like we can't see the future. We play a game. DFS is a game. It's not just predicting the future.

7:12

I mean, you'd go to the sports betting markets and do that more so than, than just the game we play for daily fantasy. So it's really cool. We try to have fun, try and keep it informative and it's cool to see stuff like this, but yeah, shout out to be Walden sharks. Really cool stuff. Yeah, go ahead hoop. And then afterwards we can get right into these games, but definitely want to give everybody a shout out. Yeah. Congrats to J-Rod as well.

7:33

We love to see that. Yeah, you guys said, I mean, it's what we've been all about from the beginning and just love seeing people continuing on with the tradition. I mean, do you do something like this? It's all about the community, man. And, you know, building the community and, you know, safe spot, I guess, for everyone to kind of be. And that just adds to it. So congratulations and thanks. Yeah, we'll get into it now. We really appreciate you guys.

7:58

Like I said, anybody wants to join over at Ship It Nation can definitely do so. We're going to look at the news. We're starting hoop with the Bengals at the Dolphins on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗. We're going to be using our friends over at DFSOS.com. You guys can use code SHIPIT over there to get half price and see how the best players actually play. It also has the news dashboard that we love using it on this show. And yesterday, I'm just going to pull it up here.

8:19

Maybe I'll do by Higgins to see here. It might have both news. But Higgins was a full participant practice Friday, still listed as questionable. Ja'Marr Chase, same thing. So Hoop, how are you thinking about this one going in? We are still waiting on that news. We got a lot of news this morning, but I haven't seen that one yet. If anyone has posted in the chat or whatever, we'll get into it. But Hoop, how are you?

8:40

By the way, you already kind of gave your grand scheme overview. We know what it is on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗ when we get to Detroit, Arizona. So we don't need that for this one. But how are you handling this Bengals-Dolphins game to kick things off? Yeah, I'm kind of glad we don't have the news on this one yet because I don't think it's going to give people a lot of time to react to.

8:57

And it's really, it's big for this slate where we're looking for something.

9:01

We're looking, I mean, really, again, we're going to harp on this a lot and I hope it doesn't get annoying, but like we're looking for something that can compete with Detroit or Arizona and you got an offense in the bangles projected to score a lot of points facing this shitty Dolphins team um like this could be a spot where this team could compete with that big total not on the Miami side but on the Cincinnati side we don't have the news here it's not going to give people a lot of time to react and And I can go either way with it.

9:33

Like if these guys are out or one of them's out, it gives Chase Brown a boost. But we already have a ton of plays at running back. Is it going to give people enough time to react? Like let's say they're both out. Like Chase Brown becomes a phenomenal play. Can people react to it in time? And they'll react to it, but not to the point where it should be if we had this news all week long. So I'm waiting on this one.

9:56

Now, if these guys are in, I want some Burrow stuff like Burrow is not projecting well anywhere. He's coming in LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗. And they're right there. I mean, they got a twenty five team total. If Chase or if Chase or I think Chase has a chance to play. To me, it doesn't sound like Higgins is going to play. So I'm kind of more interested in the Chase stuff. If Chase is ruled in, it was just a concussion. Like, I mean, obviously, it's a big deal.

10:20

I don't want to say like, you know, I don't want to. You know, dumbed down to concussion. But you can get right back to playing after having a concussion. Just needs to get cleared. So I have a ton of interest. Burrow to chase at low OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ because people aren't going to be able to react in time. The total in this game probably comes up if he does get ruled in. So you're looking at a team total. Twenty six.

10:41

That's right there in the middle of Detroit and Arizona. Detroit's around thirty. Arizona's around twenty six. Like you get an offense that that's very capable. So I'm watching the news on this one, and I'm going to play it either way. Like if these pass catchers are ruled in, one of them's ruled in, I'm going to be overweight on that pass catcher and Joe Burrow.

11:01

If they both happen to be out, we get another cheap wide receiver in Dante Myers, and then Chase Brown becomes a phenomenal play, and he's not going to be as owned as he would have been if we had this news all week. So I'm waiting on this one. Looking forward to it. I'm actually happy that we don't have the news at this point, so we give people less time to react. And then on the Miami side, just Malik Washington. I think he's fine.

11:24

I don't think you have to play any Dolphins if you are sacking up the Bengals, but it would definitely just be Malik Washington. And we have enough cheap plays at wide receiver where ownership will be in check on him. So I'm looking forward to this game for sure.

11:40

I like what you said there's a couple things about it you know that besides all the other stuff that you said was good the one thing that I thought really stood out was the team total it actually started when everybody thought it was going to be all good to start the week kind of you know that type of setup it started closer to then it came down for the Bengals but now if it turns around even if Higgins is out I think I still think this offense can go like you said Chase I laughed Kevin in the chat was you know made a comment on your comment just a concussion rubbed some dirt on it like you'll be all good but I do think it's fine to play.

12:08

We've seen plenty of guys come back from a concussion and be able to go out and have a big game. So I think the Ja'Marr Chase thing, I do think Chase Brown goes with how the injuries go. Like if both those guys are back somehow, Chase and Higgins, I don't think Chase Brown is as good as if obviously one of them is out. That's why he was getting a bunch of the targets out of the backfield. I feel good about that.

12:27

Gasicki, if there's none of those, you know, if Higgins is out still could be a thing, but I think the one thing, title, before I kick it to you on this game that we didn't really talk about in the grand scheme overview because I bypassed it since Hoop kind of mentioned it already, but was the big news we did get this morning that's still not official yet, and it will be when we get into the next game to talk about it more even, but gentee, hopeful to play now.

12:50

I know we were all waiting on this Mike Washington Jr. News overnight. I know that sounds weird to say, but that would have been big for the slate with a $4,200 running back slotting in Sounds like Gentee is going to try and give it a go now, and we'll see what that shakes out like. But we will know before the slate starts. So there's still a bunch of stuff to react to here that makes the slate even more interesting.

13:10

We obviously got the Harrison news earlier yesterday with Marv Harrison, the guy that had the best tweet of the year, or post now on X, I guess, where he said, you know, can't even get true separation from the Cardinals. That was a winner for sure, because it's like crazy. But take us into your thoughts on the Bengals-Dolphins game title. Well, I first wanted to ask Coop, was there a quote or something about T.

13:29

Higgins or like what makes you not expect him to play? I might have missed something. That's why I'm asking. No, I just all week, I guess it was just kind of my assumption that he was going to be out. I mean, what was the, did he practice on Friday? I thought he was limit or he was full participant. He was full on Friday and this was the key one here just from last night. And they didn't elevate. Yeah, that's what I saw.

13:50

Yeah. Yeah, it wasn't. Okay. Yeah. I don't know. I was just kind of operating under the assumption that he was going to be out, I guess. I mean, maybe, maybe that's right. In my mind, I was always thinking one, one would be in and it was going to be Chase. The other was going to be out. Could be wrong. And it is kind of interesting. No news at all. It's the only spot in the NFL news has been.

14:09

You know, the news has always been out there recently, Saturday, middle of the night, kind of, and haven't heard anything. So I am curious, but I want to play these guys. If they're in, they're healthy enough and I want to play both. So I would be definitely open to playing T if he is in as well.

14:25

But like, tambo said like if they're both in that is pretty big hit to to Chase Brown for sure yeah if they're out jake's the man jake that takes in here real quick like this is this is right yeah like if somehow we got that news but to title's point what he's going through I think on his side seeing it if you're getting full practices from these guys and they're not elevating anyone Very easily. I was kind of leaning.

14:46

I think like to Hoops point, if someone was still ruled out, even after that, and they just say, Hey, we're fine with it. Jamar will play. T will sit. We've got Myers. We've got these other guys. Like you mentioned, they're Tinsley and Gesicki and all this stuff. Maybe they do that. But as of right now, that is the news that we have on those two guys. We're waiting on it. Go ahead. Title. Yeah, yeah, and again, we'll get that before a lock.

15:05

I'm just going based on the assumption that they are because they didn't elevate anyone. Beside the point, it's really three guys for me. I mean, I guess Higgins and Chase News would change, but Chase Brown for sure. He had eleven targets last game. He's minus one forty five to score and his ownership has to stay in check for sure. I mean, pretty much any game outside of this Lions game is going to stay in check.

15:26

But eleven targets he converted on all eleven didn't get in the box last week. Minus one forty five to score if he does. That's sitting at twenty five DraftKings points. I think Chase Brown is a very good play today at $6,900. The other one, Ja'Marr Chase, it's just I mean, we saw it against the Texans. He's going to be about single digit ownership. Anytime he's single digits, he has the upside to score thirty five or forty. So ways to get different from Jamar.

15:52

That Lions game, Gibbs, Amra, stuff like that. You want someone to be able to match the upside or just break the slate. Chase is one. So he's just someone I'm going to play at single digits most times. Then the other one's Malik Washington at $4,600 ever since A-chan went down.

16:08

I mean Malik Washington pretty much their guy he's the gadget guy he's had two design rushes the past two games Malik Willis has missed him for I think two touchdowns so far this year as well but forty six and a half is receiving prop I mean he's good he gets open we've talked about him in Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Full explanation ↗ stuff for a couple years now they played on Thursday a lot yeah just a shifty guy that Malik Willis trusts in a bad offense that they're going to be trailing a lot and having to throw so I think he's a good value at $4,600 Chase Brown, Ja'Marr Chase, Malik Washington, the three for me in this one.

16:44

I found the video was that Davis Chow guy. He was a former NFL doctor. He had a video out and he said he thought, and this was yesterday, he thought Ja'Marr Chase would play and he thought T. Higgins would not play. So that was yesterday. He kind of thought that would be the case. That's where I got it from. I knew I got it from somewhere. I couldn't remember. He's got a doctor title. It's not a Discord doctor. It's a real doctor title.

17:08

Yeah, I know. I was going to make a joke. Then he said former NFL doctor. You're good, man. He backed up his sources over there. I will say, just looking at it, because, again, going back to the grand scheme of it, like, gentee, hopeful to play. Lad isn't expected to play. We'll talk about Trey Harris, et cetera, later. Jefferson, Justin Jefferson, that is, going to go through a pregame workout before deciding. That game's sneaky.

17:28

We're going to get there in two games from now. Dowdle, unlikely. We'll get to that when we get to the Steelers game, talking a little Warren. And then there's some other ones. Ramondre was kind of the other one expected to play because people were looking at Henderson. There's more news. I'm just saying just where it starts for us is kind of that. We'll come back to it if we need to.

17:45

Last thing I'll say on this game that's disgusting, but maybe the D in Dolphins stands for disgusting. We've got Willis, Washington, and by the way, Chris Bell. Maybe you missed it, but that was a big touchdown callback last week. That was an opportunity to go off. But all I'm saying is how many people will have Ja'Marr Chase lineups with Gibbs and whatever else you want to put in it.

18:06

Well, the way to do that is if you get after this game and hope for a big game from the other side, you could have Malik Willis, Washington bell, Ja'Marr Chase, and then fill it out with whatever you want. That, that to me is a way that I could see getting a little bit different on this slate. If you want to take some risk in your lineups and then still figure out what you're doing with the Detroit Arizona game to go with it.

18:26

All right, Hoop, I'll go back to you, man. Raiders at the Patriots. We talked about it before. The gentee hopeful to play news. Ramondre Likely to play now. So the running back situation in this game could have been totally different, but now it seems like it will be gentee in and people have to make a decision at that point. Yeah, I mean, definitely changes the slate a little bit.

18:46

I mean, you got not only like we have cheap running backs, you know, Mike Washington coming in at $4,200 is another tier of cheap. And that changes Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Full explanation ↗ quite a bit with him being kind of off the board for us, assuming that gentees in the news definitely shifted yesterday more in favor of of gentee being in. So. So another piece of news we'll have to wait on. Really, we haven't had like a news SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗ in a while.

19:11

I mean, a lot of this stuff's been decided. There's three or four pieces that are somewhat slate changing today. So it's going to be definitely important to follow the news and make sure to tune into the next show. They'll have it covered for you with inactives and everything. But yeah, I mean. It definitely makes it more difficult. I don't really want to be on Gentee banged up in this spot on the road as an underdog.

19:33

So that kind of wipes both those guys off the board for me. And then it's just really Bowers on the Raiders side. I think in tournaments, I mean, if you're spending at tight ends, you don't have to have much IQ to understand that it's going to be Trey McBride that everyone's going to and not Brock Bowers. So Bowers becomes a really good ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. 19:54

Tournament PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. Tournament pivots usually seek comparable scoring upside at lower ownership, meaning fewer competing lineups use them. Before swapping, check what the replacement changes around it: your remaining salary, teammates, opposing players and available later-starting options.Full explanation ↗ who could easily match the upside of or the production of Trey McBride so Bowers becomes an elite tournament pivot if you're trying to do some things to get off the popular plays in Detroit Arizona uh Patriots offense like you know you want to make a case for something some quarterbacks some stacks outside of Detroit Arizona and this isn't going to be it for me I just I got to see something a little bit stronger out of this offense before I get in on it.

20:25

If it's today, that's fine. We move on to the next slate because I'm not going to have much of it or probably any of the Patriots offense. So for me, it's just, I guess now it's just Bowers as a contrarian, not contrarian because he's going to get OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. I don't hate that move.

20:48

I absolutely love that move. Especially. I think that's one of the things that people are going to like, try and get away from reset completely. It's like, why not just play a nice percent lineup or a nice golf lineup and just use a Bowers in it instead. Like it just, it makes sense. I get why people want to do it with McBride, but we looked at it yesterday.

21:03

Blickle had it up and I'll, no secret of why but you know people are just jamming that combo because it goes together on paper but you can get there in different ways title this is uh maybe a good time for again we skipped some of the other stuff but the weather factor do you want to just talk through weather a little bit for what you're seeing on this slate and where you might have worries or thoughts and then we'll get to your take your thoughts and takes on Raiders at the Patriots Yeah, and again, I'm copying and pasting, just like cheating back in the day at school, but from Ross, weather stuff, and it is only one game he has is the Orange, the Browns at the Jets.

21:36

Not like we really have interest in that game anyway, unless Buckins wants to slam it to hoop again on another slate, but we'll get there in a bit. Other than that, the only two yellow games. One for two seasons so far. He's one out of how many, how many slates? We're one out of two talking. We're one out of two in the games. Yeah. I don't recommend them every week. How many games has he played? Probably fifteen-ish last year and then.

21:58

Yeah, I'm not bullish on him for all those games, though. One it worked, one it didn't. Yeah, you're not bullish on him every game. I have shit on him every game. I'm nineteen out of twenty. Or no, no, no. I gotta say, I'm nineteen out of twenty because the one game he went off last year, I was on him. So yeah, nineteen out of twenty-ish. Ah, fair enough.

22:16

The only other, uh, yellow, like, so again, orange Browns Jets and orange is kind of when I get scared yellow, I don't really worry about it too much. Colt Steelers, then Giants Commanders. So that's all I'm seeing in this one. He didn't have, uh, any, any weather designation for this game. Did you see something different Tambo? No, just, I think this was the time to chime it in now. Cause we'll get my game.

22:36

We get there, but people aren't thinking about it as much until you get to sort of this type of setup. I'll, I'll let you go into the game now itself. Yeah. Yeah, I'm actually going to be on this Patriots stack. It's going to be really LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗. You can surround it with Gibbs, with Michael Wilson, with McBride, with Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Full explanation ↗. Drake May, did he finally find something? Maybe. I'm going to figure it out because Matt Collins is out. He's on the IR, so that makes it a lot more condensed.

23:02

And the price tags around. Romeo Doubs is $5,000. Hunter Henry's $3,700. Drake Mays, $6,300. And he finally rushed the ball. He rushed eight times last week, scored twenty eight DraftKings points. And when he gets to ceiling outcomes, as we saw last year, he's being mobile. He's getting out of the pocket. And that allows you to just skinny stack them.

23:23

With a henry with the dobs you can double stack it as well but it's pretty cheap so yeah at single digit ownership I'm definitely going to be in on drake may Doubs Hunter Henry then on the other side yeah you always play Brock Bowers the dude's a stud nothing wrong there Michael Mayer though at like zero ownership man just watching the Raiders and how michael It feels like every time Michael Mayer is chalked, it's because Brock Baker is out and he's too cheap.

23:47

He stinks. Anytime he's in, he does great. And it's because the defense has to focus on Brock and other things so much. He just always leaks out in the flat. I mean, they just can't figure it out because there's so much other stuff going on and eye candy. And Michael Mayer, I mean, just got paid really big for a tight end to start the year. He's a legit... Top five tight end maybe, maybe number five. He's overshadowed by Bowers, but they use him.

24:14

He can get upfield when he catches the ball. No one's going to play him. A double tight end is valuable on this slate. If you want to jab in Stars and ScrubsStars and scrubs is a DFS lineup structure where you spend heavily on several expensive players and fill other roster spots with low-salary players. The cheap players free up salary for the stars; they are not necessarily bad players.Compare the points you gain by upgrading to a star with the points you sacrifice at the cheap spot. Check whether both players still fit your lineup's scoring scenario.Full explanation ↗, you're going to need some savings. So outside of Bowers, I'm definitely looking at this game as a cheap stack, cheap pieces to then jam in what I want in that other game at low ownership. Yeah, the wordplay on this game is incredible. I've been chomping at the bit because you've got Drake, May.

24:37

You can run a Doubs stack, a double stack with Double D, DeMario Douglas. Hope that it pops off. Pop Douglas. On the other side, you've got Double T, Trey Tucker with Double B, Brock Bowers. This game is insane. How long did you say that one in the mirror? I just came up with it right now. That was good. I know it's crazy, but I will say this, the setup of this game with the, all those guys out for the Patriots defense.

25:02

And I just, I keep, I don't even like hoop set. He's not gonna be low on, but I don't think people understand still like Brock Bowers should be $9,000. He can't be because he's at tight end. He's, he's, I think Blickle said, he has to say it's JSN for $7,000. Like it's the, it's, you're getting this guy last week. They sold out to stop this guy. And he still got what? Eighty-four yards, a touchdown, a bunch of catches.

25:25

He still had like twenty-five DraftKings points. There's nobody right now on the Patriots on the other side. So, People may just be like, oh, now that Jente's in, got to ignore this spot completely. Don't need it anymore. But man, you've got a lot of ways that you can go here. I'm not expecting Romeo Doubs to get two touchdowns every week, but he's also $5,000. DeMario Douglas is $3,500.

25:45

Trey Tucker, if you want it to be a shootout, why not have the guy that could make it into one? So I think there's a lot of savings here in this game. And it's a way that you could see. It's one of those ones that we talked about yesterday too, and you guys probably read the articles and saw all the stuff out there with this Detroit-Arizona game being on the slate and everyone going crazy over it.

26:05

There's been plenty of slates like that where there was still another game that popped off and went for like sixty-one points or something like that. This one is not... That it's far behind the lead game that everyone's talking about. But if there's a game that could go to sixty points and you could see Kirk Cousins and Drake May battling back and forth, I could see it here. So I do have a little bit of love for this game, particularly the May side.

26:26

And then you got Bowers on the other side or Tucker if you want to really get things to set off. I'll talk more about that later, too. But. When you're building your lineups, and maybe I'll skip ahead. I'll just do it right now. But Detroit, Arizona, if you actually want it to be a shootout, we should build for it to be a shootout. Let's get Jamison Williams into some of those lineups. Let's get TeSlaa into some of those.

26:44

Let's get some people that can get this thing flying and open it up. Everyone just wants to play what's going to be on the ground and catch and fall. You got to open it up for an actual shootout. But Hoop, anything else to add on this one? I know you started it, but if you got anything else here, if not, you can take us into the Vikings at the Saints. Yeah, I mean, I think title talked me into some Patriots.

27:05

I always talk about that's why I love doing the show. If I wasn't doing the show, I'd be watching the show because I like to come in as open minded as can be and didn't like it at first. But I think it makes sense. I mean, you look good last week finally. And, you know, some maybe it's a little lack of preseason hangover for some of these offenses. You see it all the time.

27:25

It's cheap and it's a little more consolidated and you can get really whatever you want. You know, if you pair him with Doubs or Douglas or Hunter Henry after that, the world's wide open because it's cheap. So definitely switch my opinion on that one. I will have some Patriots in my one fifty. What's the next game? It's the Vikings at the Saints. We talked about it earlier with the news on Jefferson. He's going to give it a go before the game starts up.

27:49

It looks like Camaro will go. So I think that's the news on that one. Was there anything on Addison we were waiting on, too? Both of them are game time decisions, supposedly. So we'll see. Yeah, he's working out before the game as well. Yeah, they're both working out. So this is another spot. Yeah. So like this wide receiver position, you know, a lot of news we're kind of waiting on. I mean, this Vikings defense is really good and their offense is really bad.

28:16

I mean, if Jefferson plays, it probably looks a little bit better, but Kyler Murray, you know, know the story and, with me he just sucks as a real life quarterback like he's horrible I mean good thing he has really good defense this year he's gonna you know get bailed out with with a lot of wins but he's bad but you know Jefferson being back could help uh a little bit like I want to have some interest here because there's pieces like Jefferson's probably going to be pretty low on you have Aaron Jones, you got Hawkins who, you know, Kyler Murray checked down to a ton last week.

28:47

That was obviously without. I mean, if those guys are for some some reason ruled out, which I think Justin Jefferson comes back and plays today. But if somehow they're ruled out like TJ Hawkins climbs a ton. I mean, it was just free fantasy points last week for him. You have pieces on the other side, Alave, Vele, Juwan Johnson. Total here is sitting at forty-one. I'm just – I'm not going to be on much of this one. We'll see.

29:11

I mean, if Jefferson is in, I want some, though, for sure, because – People I don't think are going to be on it as much as they should be. These top – I mean, if he is in, I mean, Kyler looks so bad. You have to imagine he just peppered him. So he's going to have some opportunities. So, yeah, pretty much just Jefferson for me here, not too much. This Vikings defense is very legit. And Aaron Jones, sorry. Aaron Jones as well. Yeah, so this was the fun part.

29:37

I want to get to Title's thoughts on this because our Discord is always fun overnight. I woke up this morning, read the late night chat. It's our man Hebrew Cheetah. Rio is always in there just hitting it up with the crew and Sully and Newens and MN Hall and all these guys that were in there. You go collect different folks. And they were talking about this spot.

29:55

And it was pretty interesting what Rio said because I like it a little bit more. And then it kind of turned me off a little bit. But he said, like... The Saints played all the best running backs. So they played, I think it was Derek Henry Gibbs and Bijan. And I, and everyone will say like, yeah, but Brian Robinson Jr. jr. Also did it too. But like when you're running it in from the line, once you get there, it could have been Bijan for five.

30:16

They're playing the best stuff. Do you think this is a good spot for Aaron Jones? Or do you take that more into consideration? Just thinking about who they played already. It's only been four weeks. Let me answer that real quick and then title can take away the game. You're playing Jones as a volume based play because he's getting all the work. I don't think you're playing Jones because you think he's actually like a good productive running back.

30:37

You're playing him because the twenty plus touch upside. So that's why I would be playing him for volume, not necessarily efficiency. So still on him regardless of that situation.

30:48

I like that statement because I did see the numbers on that too it's like his his workload his share all that and they did get run on that's what we're saying right now king king mana it's like we're saying everyone's talking about it from that perspective and it's they played they've got run all over every week but they've also got run all over by the best running backs in the league so that's what people are wondering and people are saying like Aaron Jones is not bijan again there's a price factor as well he's $6,500 go ahead title Yeah, I mean, the cool addition we have over here is on the stone is like pace is rushing defense, passing defense, all that.

31:20

Part of it, which people don't talk about, is the pace the Saints play at. Seventy seven percent throwing twenty three run a in pace. They speed up the game, which then allows the other team to have the ball more and more opportunity for fantasy points. And yeah, I agree with Aaron. Like Aaron Jones, you think in twenty twenty six might be dust, whatever. He's more of an injury concern, but twenty eight, twenty three, twenty three touches in his last three games.

31:42

I mean, how are you going to pass up on that at $6,500? So, yeah, I'm not necessarily as worried. Do I think the Saints are as bad as they've been against the run? Probably not. Do I think they're great? Probably not. They're probably somewhere in between. But a pass, a guy that can catch the pass or catch the ball to the backfield and going to get the ball that many times. I have interest at $6,500 for sure.

32:03

Outside of that. Man, I think I'm going to play a little Kyler at $5,200. I mean, the dude's $5,200 and can run and it can set up a lot of stuff. He's going to be very LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. And then when you play him, I'll probably just play him with Justin Jefferson, who's probably also going to be single digits.

32:21

It's hard to click that name, but he's $7,300, assuming he plays just a bet on talent at low OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Kyler to Justin Jefferson skinny stacks I'm a little interested in Aaron Jones is the best play on paper though outside of that assuming Addison and stuff's in like I can't get to anyone no Saints for me either Yeah, I think it's... Man, there's just not a lot.

32:42

I guess I like Aaron Jones-Olave as a Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Full explanation ↗ just because I could see that working. I don't think anyone's going to Olave this week. He's obviously priced up a little bit, but you could see that. If you're doing it, go Kyler to Jefferson-Olave, something like that, but... Don't have as much love for this game as some of the other spots. It's a good one. It's just you're probably putting it together with skinny stacks or like Kyler, Jefferson, Olave, cut it off.

33:07

Or just Aaron Jones with the defense is another way you could handle this. You know, who talked about earlier. So I think that's the one that I like the most probably is the most aren't going up to a... $3,100 D. They're either at like the Jets, the Commanders going down to one of the cheapies. I don't think anyone's really going up either. But just to note, that makes it a little bit different for this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. 33:27

We got the Browns at the Jets. Funny enough, this was one of the there was a game. I think it was the, no, what was it? It was the Jets at somebody. Anyway, the Jets are with, it was with Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, and Garrett Wilson, another SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Full explanation ↗ that we had of the seven slates that were like this, where the far and away game was on it.

33:48

This was a, it was a Jets game that broke the slate and that was what was in the winning lineup. So just crazy how it works. It was a Jets-Jags. The time that Brenton Strange was $2,500 and Brian Thomas Jr. Was $5,500 and they were both super popular. You needed to flip the build and go the other. Some played Mac Jones with it, but you needed the two Jets receivers with Aaron Rodgers with BTJ and Strange.

34:12

And that's what ended up during the live final that year. That's what that's why I remember it. Yeah, that's cool. Yeah. Did Shady win that one? I think he did. Yeah, I think he was. I think I remember that too. Yeah, as far as this game, man, a little more interest than I wanted. It's really only around like three pieces. Both defenses are very much in play. Again, this was the one orange weather situation. And it's the Jets and the freaking Browns.

34:38

So you can always play defenses against either team. But as far as skilled position players, like I'm going to play Garrett Wilson at $6,600 and I'm going to play Braylon Allen at $5,400. A starting running back at $5,400.

34:52

Is pretty hard to pass up when there's so many studs on this slate but again I want to temper my expectations like he got the ball a good amount last week he just could not find any room to run and then Garrett Wilson against his Browns team there's just no one else that he's competing with the targets like he thirteen targets two games ago was bad last game but if you can pencil them in for almost ten targets any receiver at that um at that price at $6,600 with his talent.

35:19

I'll have some interest in and they're applied for twenty one points, which is a little higher than I expected. So it's really just based on ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Full explanation ↗, which stems from props and price that I think Braylon Allen and Garrett Wilson are a little interesting. Also, just looking at Braylon Allen, he is getting some OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗. We're showing nineteen percent, fifteen percent for Wilson. Maybe Braylon Allen comes up a little bit with Wash. Now with Gentee probably going to play.

35:43

So like there's another value running back that that disappears. And then I think Garrett Wilson might go down a little bit. So I don't know. I'm curious to hear your guys' takes on those two. But it's really condensed on that team. This is crazy, too. This was a flip we did last year. I'm going to go through some of the other stuff in this game as well. But this is the flip we did last year.

36:02

It was Brees Hall and the Jets were popular. And then we flipped it to Judkins and the Browns at, you know, one tenth of the ownership or something is what it was. And it just crushed. Again, you get like a two and a half total and everyone just goes to the one side because they're the favorite or all the work they got or whatever. So I actually think I know who pays Judkins, but we'll get there. In a second.

36:22

I do want to share this because you brought it up and now I forgot we had it over here. This is actually funny. This was the exact spot. So we, I did a, it was FFWC Nashville. Shady came second. That's what it was. It was Chipotle addict. Want it? It's kind of grainy because I'm not going to play the video on here, but you could see shady was chasing with the big afternoon game. It was Buffalo and Detroit.

36:42

Of course, the Lions are involved every single time in these spots. It's crazy, but it was Buffalo, Detroit. Chasing down Chipotle addict whose lineup was pretty much done. Chipotle addict had the Rogers, Adams, Wilson, Brian Thomas Jr. Was Strange. He just filled it out with the three best running backs on the slate. You can see chalk, chalk, chalk, and the D that went with James Conner at the time.

37:05

But the other lineup had, like, Allen, Aminrah, Shakir, had a bunch of stuff going on in that game, just chasing them down and didn't quite get there. But, you know, big swing. One point two five for second, two point five for first. It's crazy how that goes. But, Hoop, I'll kick it back to you, man. We can go back to this game here. The Jets at home versus the Browns. Your thoughts. And tell us how bad Judkins sucks again. Got to beat the dead horse.

37:31

Beat the... What's it saying? Got to... Beat the dead horse here? Yeah. I like Breland Allen quite a bit. Good pairing on DraftKings with the defense. Jets defense is pretty cheap. Just getting all the work. It's the same thing. It's like an efficiency play. Do I think Allen's good? Not necessarily. Do I think the matchup is good? Not necessarily, but he was out there. Title knows the snap stuff.

37:54

He's out there, I think, almost every single play, which is pretty rare for a starting running back. So in on him, in on Garrett Wilson, and then I think Concepcion on the other side is fine at .

38:07

It's about it and you know needless to say zero zero buckkins for Hoopster what about the stacks though like put it putting in uh you know gino braylon allen

38:19

Garrett Wilson and one of those value receivers on the other side or Judkins what do you think about that uh no thanks I'll pass I'll definitely pass and I guess this is like the one weather game but it's like these weather games like the number one thing you need to do if you're going to factor in weather is just look at the total and see if it's moved and this one hasn't moved at all so it is it's got to be tough sledding for the the people like trying to pump NFL weather games every single week because it's very rarely all that impactful I mean the situation is very clear it has to be extreme winds

38:53

And not just like fifteen to twenty mile an hour winds we're talking it's got to be thirty mile an hour winds before it really even factors in and you know just it's gonna rain but that could be an advantage for an offense like the defender needs to defend the guy so don't just automatically see rain and think like this is a weather game or something it's just not not the case so not letting that impact any decisions today really but uh alan Garrett Wilson and the uh brown kc dude on the on the Browns Yeah, I think the one thing is like the, you know, Casey, Boston, both those guys I kind of like.

39:29

The stack rankings for both these on Chivit Nation are, you know, a little bit interesting for them. But, you know, the pace doesn't look great. I guess it can always flip. But if you're trying to get different with this game, it's very condensed, I think, outside of that. Like, I just don't care about too much else. I think it's like Deshaun, Boston, Concepcion, or Judkins. And if you're flipping the other side, you put Allen into that one or Wilson.

39:49

If you flip the other side, it's like Geno, Allen, Wilson.

39:52

Maybe sadiq and then again you got your guys on the other side so probably not worth it but I'm definitely gonna risk it in some just because I think it's like I said looking trusting the stuff on the stone and trusting the uh the stack rankings I think there's some opportunity there for um you know the morning stuff maybe better on early only two for those that's another thing we didn't talk about off the top and title I'll come to you in a second for Colts at the Steelers but The other things, like somebody said, I think it was our guy, Timmy Dubs, in the Discord last night.

40:19

He's like, is it crazy for me to just want to play early only and not think about all this bullshit in the afternoon? You definitely can. And if early only goes good, maybe you want to dabble and you say, well, I got a lineup I want to throw in the afternoon or something. But you can definitely play early only this week. It's a huge slate, right? Eight games in the morning.

40:35

So, you know, you're getting a pretty decent-sized slate to still get different, tons of combinations, decent prize pools, et cetera, et cetera. So no shame. Good prize pools. Prize pools are strong. People need to be doing stuff like that. If you don't feel comfortable with your full slate builds, don't be shamed into playing some of these alternate slates because the prize pools are massive for NFL. If you're playing another sport, you don't have this opportunity.

40:58

If you're playing an MLB slate, you're not going to most Likely get the opportunity to have those huge prize pools on the alternate slates. Definitely look into that for sure. No shame in that whatsoever. The Jaguars Brian Thomas Jr. Got kicked out. B-R-Y-A-N. But Brian Thomas Jr., the wide receiver, did not. Yeah, they housed it. A kick return to start. Nullified by a penalty. A brawl. Midfield. Ejections all over. Of course, I was overweight. Jags D. Oh, man. This is crazy.

41:31

All right, I'll let you take it over here, Title. We've got your boy, Aaron Rodgers, at home. We just talked about him, and maybe he's no longer on the Jets. We brought up that Chipotle addict thing. He's on the Steelers now, but I did mention this with Blickle yesterday. You tell me what you think on it, but I don't even think it's just matchups or pairings or anything. I just think he does not care at all. Like, he's looking like Blickle, bro.

41:51

He's looking at the sidelines, telling him to go F himself. He's saying, this guy's F'ing sucks. Like, he's just going to – he can call an audible at the line. He can do whatever he wants, and I think he will. And that's what's a bit appealing about Aaron Rodgers. I mean, yeah, he's been calling audibles from Mike McCarthy of the Dalton back for twelve years like those two have had an interesting ride. I mean, yeah. Does he care? Who knows?

42:13

I mean, what I will say is he's got to hang it up. You don't want your whole the prime of your career to be forgotten from these last couple of years like we see too many do. And you got to stop throwing people under the bus and all that stuff. Take accountability. Sometime it is your fault. That's a different rant, though. As far as this game, I mean, Jalen Warren, I'm going to keep playing Jalen Warren until Rico's back.

42:34

His usage, just watching him play football, like the dude runs so hard to catch passes. Good security blanket. Everything looks good. And then after that, two other names. Roman Wilson and DK. Pittman's on the IR for four weeks. Obviously, DK already still a good solid play. I just keep being... I'm overweight on this guy every week, it feels. He's only ten percent with wide receiver two gone. He just...

43:01

He hasn't done it yet this year, but I feel like the upside's always there for a guy like that. And again, if Rodgers doesn't care and all that, call us audibles. Anytime he sees one safety or someone not over DK, he will take the shot. So definitely in on him. And then, yeah, Rowan Wilson, $3,700. We need value without Pittman. Him and Bernard are going to mix in a lot more. And yeah, we can. What was it?

43:24

Two or three weeks ago, Wilson got benched the game right after on the Thursday night game. Like they went right back to him. And he out snapped most of the guys. So I feel comfortable with them. I think Rogers, he's back on his good side. $3,700 allows you to have a lot of spend. So it's gross. I'm not playing the Rogers stuff, but I'll be overweight. I think Warren Wilson Metcalf is individual pieces.

43:47

I don't love playing two of them in the same lineup. I'm not going to make a rule not to. But, yeah, at their prices, I think I think it's fine. So, yeah, just the individual skill position players. The bots are crazy. Good spots here. He says, JT smash spot, raining all day, starting DT out for the Steelers. I think Jonathan Taylor is a great tournament play. Most people aren't going to be able to get to that price tag. He would speed this game up for sure.

44:10

I know downs fits in there as well. People think that or Warren, but I think JT could definitely speed it up. Not sure about the stats result he'll get. I also thought this was a good one, Jeremy Bernard. Yeah, Rogers was talking him up a little. When Pittman was out, I think it was week one maybe. I can't remember, but I think Bernard had eight targets himself. These are just really cheap guys that you can go to.

44:29

And then DK Metcalf, I just posted it earlier, but they changed his picture to like the DJ Dallas one with the eyes popping. And I said, this guy looks ready for $5,400. And the interview this week, they said something about Sauce Gardner. He said, who? He said, no, I'm not worried about what DBs are doing. He said, I'm worried about my matchups and winning those.

44:48

But he has not had – it's a very small Sample, so you guys know I don't give a shit, and especially in a wide receiver corner matchup. But I'm just noting they did put out the stats, and it wasn't good the last time he played Sauce Gardner. Totally different game. Sauce got cooked last week. Um, and I, yeah, I think he went five targets for over a hundred yards last week on sauce. So I never, I'm not worried anyway.

45:09

There's like DK Metcalf said, he's like, I'm going to win my matchup and that's my job. So I'm fine with it. You got to be able to catch it, but I will say this hoop before I kick it to you. The, um, The thing I looked at, I was actually doing a little game. I saw the eyes. They popped out in the lineup for some reason. I said, okay, I got to look at this game log quick.

45:26

Just five catches last week, and this guy got twenty DK points. So, five catches, hundred fifteen, nothing, no touchdown, anything. He had nine targets. It's not about that. Again, that's last week. It ain't this week. I'm just saying That's how quick this guy can get you twenty points like that. So it's like we'll see what he does this week. But for that price, Rowan Wilson, Bernard Rogers, and then the other side, you got a guy like JT or Downs, Warren, whatever you want to speed it up.

45:49

This is another game that sits right in that like forty five point hover that could just go back and forth. You never know. Yeah, I mean, I think this is a good game for if you are playing like Detroit, Arizona, right? If you're going to be involved in that game and you're looking for like a Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Full explanation ↗, I love that. Pairing up pieces from this game, and it's, you know, JT. So, like, if you're going to play the Lions-Cardinals game, you're not going to play Gibbs, right?

46:14

You're going to just rely on the passing stuff from that game.

46:18

Getting, like, JT in there, getting guys like Jalen Moore in, you could play both of that you could play them together but really what I like is jt with DK Metcalf or jt with Roman Wilson or even three of those guys in that game because I love the individual pieces here I'm not playing the quarterbacks I'm not playing jones I'm not playing Rogers but the individual pieces are real tasty and that's kind of what title was getting at like Jalen Warren individually phenomenal play to me DK Metcalf individually phenomenal play I really like Rowan Wilson I mean these are the these are the sort of guys that Aaron Rodgers loves these Rowan Wilson sort of guys and you know he's been effective and continues to

46:58

To get the attention of Aaron Rodgers, and he's done stuff with it, and Rodgers will go back to guys like that. So the one concern with the Steelers stuff is these random guys will pop up for touchdowns. Ben Skronic got a touchdown a couple weeks ago. There's just random dudes involved in this offense. So that is the concern, but we're not – all in on this. We're not playing the quarterback. So that's fine.

47:20

Just get it to our guys, get it to DK, get it to Rowan Wilson, Jalen Warren. So I think the individual pieces here are very strong. JT has to be just a very, very strong option. I mean, the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗, I don't have it up. What are we showing? We have it at twelve and I think it could be lower once we get there. I think it could be like eight to ten. I think it's probably like eight to ten percent. And I'm thinking eight.

47:43

I think probably eight for JT. If you're building a team and you have money for a running back spend, the click is clear as day. Like people are just going to put Jameer Gibbs in there and not think about anything else. JT at what I'm thinking is like eight percent. You play him at fifteen or double the field. He has three touchdown upside. So really like him to it.

48:06

That's what I'm saying too, about some of these, this is going back to what we said, the whole conversation we have with Detroit, Arizona way later when we get there, but these are the types of spots where you can do, you can play JT and Gibbs together. If you want to wrap it around this game, it's what speeds it up. It gets Aaron Rod. Like it's just thinking a little bit outside the box of a way to do it. Will it work?

48:24

We don't know, but you're building it for when it does work. And then what does that mean for the rest of your lineup? That's what most people can't get to. But obviously, you know, doing the flip side of that would be later on going to say your golf lineup or your Brissett lineup and not playing Gibbs and using JT instead and something like that. That's another way that you can shape it out a little bit differently.

48:46

So lots of ways to go about it on this slate. But I think it's just an interesting thought that I had there. Texans at the Titans title. I'll go to you here. Next game for me. I mean, sure, you can always play Nico. Really the only interest. Defense on both sides, I'm fine with. But eleven games make it a ten game. I don't want to tout every game or something like that. So I don't like this one. Yeah. Tate, One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Full explanation ↗.

49:09

Collins, One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Full explanation ↗. After that, I don't got too much else. The defense, Houston, definitely in play. Hoop, what do you think of this one? Just really tricky to even try and consider or get to with all these other things we've talked about. Yeah, I mean, I'm I'm interested in the Texans side. I mean, they're playing the Titans like somebody has to do something.

49:27

So just give me CJ Stroud, who's looked better this year and give me Nico Collins, who he just chucks the ball to nonstop and should be relatively low on and like you don't need to run it back. But if you do, I kind of like Tate on the other side. Like, twelve targets last week? He is questionable, so I think he played. I don't think it's anything serious. Definitely trending towards playing.

49:53

Twelve targets, and I can't imagine that Cam Ward will go elsewhere, and he had nine the week before, so... You get a LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ combination here, Stroud, Collins, Tate, and then if you like that Lions-Cardinals game, you can load up there knowing that your main core stack is going to come in pretty low-owned. So, yeah, I'll have some of that, but I'm not super excited about it. We're looking for other things outside of that game. I like it.

50:23

If I'm hand-building, I'd be totally fine playing like a Stroud to Nico Collins and then, you know, work in some other pieces, maybe from Detroit, Arizona. So I like it a little bit. Yeah, I think that's how you could do that. I guess on this slate, the way it priced out, I got something to say about Oracle. I don't know if you need Ward in there. You could just play. Hope for the back and forth if you wanted.

50:43

If I was going to do that like last week. Definitely don't play Ward in that. Hell no. Yeah, no, no, no. Do the others. You're not gaining much because Stroud not going to be owned either. So just play the guy that's actually a somewhat legitimate NFL quarterback, not the guy that's probably done by the end of the season. Yeah.

51:00

And, and that on for the thousand bucks more to get Stroud, it's like, you're looking for the, like I said last week, it was that that's what helped, you know, a lot of people win a bunch of money. I know it was the, the Nico Collins lamb Stroud stack. It's like, if, if Nico actually has the big game, you probably want to attach it. I mean, he's almost $8,000, he's $7,500 bucks on this slate. The Cardinals Tate news is there as well.

51:18

It was experienced some random tightness Thursday, but it's good to go. Good to go for week five. So we're good on him and then we'll go to the next game. Then hoop. I'll, I'll stay with you. We've got Giants at the Commanders.

51:32

Uh, not, a ton here jay daniel's gonna play and there's some weird quote this morning on Terry McLaurin that he's gonna be in but maybe not all his snaps and they're concerned with the rain or some like that so makes it really tough to get in on the the commander stuff I will say uh Antonio Williams though $3,800 no step on diggs I think he's a play regardless another cheap wide receiver we have a lot of cheap wide receivers today you can throw him into the mix I mean uh What was it?

52:05

I think he had like eight or something targets last week, I want to say. He's involved. Yeah, eight targets. He's been involved all season. Four, three, four, eight. And a lot of that was with Diggs in and McLaurin in. So if McLaurin is... Limited even more than than we think like this guy could be wide receiver one here at $3,800.

52:26

So interested in him and as they are Likely a cheap tight end, I think his OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ probably comes down a little bit. We have some obviously the tight ends from Detroit, Arizona and Now with the Chargers completely decimated, Gadsden probably gets bumped up a little bit. So I think Likely is a good play. And I'm fine working in some Malik Nabers as well, more just One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Full explanation ↗ stuff. He has big upside.

52:51

And, you know, Winston will get the ball to wide receiver one. So individual pieces here, Antonio Williams, some Nabers, and then Likely is where I'm looking here. Yeah. What are you thinking here, title? I guess, you know, Sully said it in the chat there. I think he said, it seems like Jayden Daniels getting overlooked today, you know, back playing ready to go.

53:10

I said it before the, the joke on him is it is week five and you know, his mom making sure the five stays intact and, and, you know, everything's locked in there. So maybe we do see a big Jayden Daniels week, but you can put them with Williams. And just skip over. We just, I had the McLaurin news up on the screen for a second, but it says expected to have snaps limited if he plays in week five.

53:29

I think he kind of, if I'm doing, I'm just taking a shot and going with, you know, Daniels, Williams, Nabers, hoping it works out in that build. And if it doesn't, we move on because it's really tricky otherwise to try and pinpoint it. Is it actually going to be full-strength McClure, and is he going to get all the snaps, all this? You can take on the risk.

53:46

I think it's fine if you want to, but for me, probably just going with the Williams route, and if it does seem like he's actually limited and not going to play many snaps, Trelon Burks is in there too. Again, you just get another really cheap setup with Williams, Burks, Nabers, and put whatever you want in the other positions, get a solid couple of running backs, a nice tight end, and then you get good flex as well. So give us your thoughts on this game.

54:10

Yeah, not the game for me. Both sides for running back. Like, I mean, I wish scat played more. It has been pretty disappointing. His usage commander side with white and proxy mayor kind of rotation. Who knows what's going on with Terry? My favorite playing this game for sure is Isaiah Likely $4,300. I mean, he got injured. Now he's coming back like. Are people forgetting the first game, like his target and usage?

54:33

And now James, when he walked into that game when Dart got hurt, he just peppered Likely in the middle of the field. So I think Isaiah Likely, a very good play. And again, I'm interested in double tight end today because it allows you to jam the Jameer Gibbs of the world, the Amin Raz, the Jefferson, whatever you want. So not really a stack for me.

54:50

We talked like Drake, May, Kyler were two so far that I was over on like Hoops had CJ Stroud, some Bengals stuff. I like the other LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ stuff I've talked about more than stacking this one. And then, yeah, I'm good with Antonio Williams. Commander's defense will get ownership, especially on FanDuel. They're only $3,300. So that's something to note as well. Yeah. Do you think for FanDuel that's the one to go to, though? Because it is the most popular by far.

55:16

I mean, the one to go to in cash tournaments. I there's so much volatility. Like, I don't I don't think you should ever really jam any defense in certain builds. Like, yeah, if you're jamming all the ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Full explanation ↗ around it, probably not the way to go. Maybe Likely. Becomes even more interesting to leverage off it a little bit. If you're already playing Jonathan Taylor, Drake May, Romeo Doubs, then yeah, sure, you can plug them in that way. So kind of what your lineup says.

I'm not going to pretend. It's hard enough to predict players. Predicting defense is even harder. I tell you what's easy is predicting the FanDuel Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Full explanation ↗ because I think it just builds itself this week. But anyways, that's the way it goes some weeks. Again, it's rare, but it's something like this. Particularly this week makes it really easy to figure out the way the injuries are shaking out now. So we'll see.

56:02

But give us your thoughts here then on your favorite team, the Packers at home versus the Bears. This is definitely interesting here. And there's seemingly good spots for a lot of guys. It's just how do you see it shaking out yourself? Oh, man. I mean, Bajan dropped back thirty four times last week. Like Ben Johnson willing to just throw the rock and do whatever he thinks is best. So no manung guy is obviously good for DeAndre Swift.

56:27

Like Swift is definitely a good play on both sides. But OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ is going to be there. And I think that even makes Bajan more appealing to LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ off some Swift. Now, Swift can catch the ball to the backfield. You can play him with him. But I'm going to go back to Bajan to Luther Bird and stuff. And I'm still going to say it's Burden like Bajan. Odunze looked solid last week. I'm not going to go there yet, and I don't hate anyone for doing it.

56:47

Again, super low-owned, in-chalkier stuff. I'm still going to say it's Burden, but yeah, I mean, Bajan has all the weapons around him. He has the best offensive mind in football, in my opinion. He's cheap, $4,700. People are going to go Burnett if they want to go there. You even get more of a discount on different Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Full explanation ↗. Leverage off DeAndre Swift. It all makes a lot of sense to me. And I'm out on this Packers, man. This line can't block.

57:13

They can't run the football. Is it Kraft? Is it Golden? Who knows? This team's the definition of cheeks. Kraft is fine, I guess, at $4,700. But I like the Bears side more. I like the Packers side more. You nailed it with the DeAndre Swift stuff. I'm looking at that. I think it's a great spot. Menungai out. We've seen it already. We know what he's capable of.

57:35

I don't love trying to figure it out on the Packers as much, so I have to commit to it, but I do think between Golden, Kraft, you know, the double tight end stuff. You mentioned it. You can play lineups that have Love, Kraft, no receivers, and just pick someone from the other side. I'm with you. I like Burden, but Odunze did get the targets and looked pretty good last week.

57:53

So I think there is ways to stack it, but I almost want to play it for the situation we have on the Stone. Like the Stone's got it labeled. Anybody who's a member over at Shippendation would see it. I'm playing it for that. And if I'm doing that and I'm going to target it, I'm going to actually target it. So I'm going in on, you know, some love stacks, Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Full explanation ↗.

58:12

You can have Swift and Burden or one of the other, you can mix it up here. So hoping that this is one of the games that pops off a little bit hoop. What's your thoughts on the Packers at home versus the Bears? So the case for it is the totals come up a couple here and now it's at forty seven and a half. So like almost approaching fifty. We don't have many high totals on the slate, obviously outside of Detroit, Arizona.

58:37

So we got a game where the total has come up a little bit.

58:43

Packers it's been painful and I know you know title's probably more annoyed by it than than you know everyone else or the two of us but it's now somewhat consolidated right I mean the problem with the Packers in the years past is you just don't know they have five wide receivers and it's been tough now it's like it's Christian Watson it's Golden and Tucker Kraft it's those three and they can't run the freaking football so um You got a low-owned quarterback in love.

59:10

You got pieces on the other side. You got runbacks. You got Swift. You have Burden. If you believe the Odunze stuff, it's fine. I just struggle with – is it Bagent or Bagent? Bajent? Either way, I just – I don't know. It's like past so many times, just didn't do anything. Maybe another week in there. I definitely prefer to go on the Packers side.

59:32

And then, you know, you have Swift and you have Burden as the runbacks and just kind of leave it at that. But, yeah, I think I have some interest here now just because this total has come up. Unlike a lot of these other spots, just still hovering in like the low forties. We have one now, forty seven and a half. It's come up.

59:50

The Bears like more of a pace thing too like where the Bears will just continue to throw the ball and push the pace and kind of forces their opponents to go a little bit so yeah I think I'm interested here in in some of it he's back he's back well he was never really there like I reminded people last week and they got you know crushed because of that but good for him for this game definitely he's back he's gonna start shoving it to people he's too cheap we'll see What was I going to pull up here?

1:00:20

There was a good one. Yeah, well, title is on to the brew crew right now. For sure. There's no bigger and better things to worry about than the pack. Big game tonight. Big game. It's going to be good. And then Aaron said this too. Yeah, RIP Mike Ditka. I just saw they'll be wearing the number on the helmet. But yeah, the Ben Johnson F the Packers, the Packers in win mode, the total coming up, the push of the back and forth.

1:00:43

I hope this game shoves too. I hope there is some points in this one back and forth. It'll be more exciting. I just love seeing it when you get a game like that. That's like Coop said, there's not many good games out there. And the other ones that we had to lobby for were tough. Right. We're like making cases for certain things and what could work and why. This is the one that I actually like to get to go back and forth.

1:01:02

So I'm hoping that it does. So we'll move on. We've got what do we got here? Three more games. We're on to the afternoon. Right. Yeah. We've got Broncos at the Chargers title. Go ahead. I mean, Trey Harris looks like a no Quinton Johnson. He looks like a very, very good play at $4,100. Now he will be owned, though. We talked about plenty of pivots in the lower tier as ways to get difference.

1:01:26

But I still think I'm going to I'm the Jan Trey Harris quite a bit. As far as anyone else in this game, like Gadsden, maybe at $3,600, but not very appealing. I mean, it's not good when you think Gadsden is going to be the starting tight end. And then as the like in the offseason, then as it goes on, it's Charlie Kohler, it's Davis Njoku. And then these guys get injured and you're forced to play Gadsden. So I'm a little concerned there.

1:01:51

It's kind of just Trey Harris or Buss for me. Waddle Sutton, I don't know. It's not for me. So, yeah, I mean, people are probably wondering, like, who does title like? We started off with a couple games. Drake May and the Vikings stuff is ways to get difference. Obviously, we'll talk about this afternoon window. But, well, this is one of the games in the afternoon window. This isn't one I like too much. I think the Seattle game's a little better.

1:02:14

But, yeah, it's no secret I'll be jamming that Cardinals-Lions game and getting different in other places. But, yeah, not my favorite. Hoop, I'll kick it over to you on this one. And the bots are out in full effect today, man. You got to be doing something right. Crazy. Crazy. Yeah. Yeah. The cat did bring it up too. And I think title might've mentioned, or we talked about earlier, maybe pre-show, but Sean Payton calling the plays now, right? He's taken over.

1:02:36

So I don't know what you think of that, but give us your take on this one. Yeah. I don't know what that does. I mean, we've got a forty one and a half total. The Broncos just continue to be very difficult for DFS purposes. I just nothing really there.

1:02:53

And um Chargers I don't know I don't love the Trey Harris I get the Trey Harris play like the all the wide receivers are out I don't even know if that is that necessarily good for for Trey Harris like it's and they have what I think they're starting I saw four rookie offensive linemen this could just be a full-blown disaster situation so I'm gonna have Trey Harris for sure but I don't I don't love it. Like, I don't, I don't know.

1:03:18

I just, nothing feels good here. Gadsden, the same thing. It's going to just be a total train wreck for the charter. And while it's been a total train wreck all season, it could be even worse of a train wreck today. So, um, Yeah. I mean, I don't, I don't, don't even love the Trey Harris stuff. He's going to be incredibly popular now because of the situation and there's other cheap wide receivers. So, you know, we have one in the Cardinals game.

1:03:43

We have, you know, we've talked about Antonio Williams for the Commanders. Like there's other slots, even, you know, pop Douglas. We talked about, we have a lot of cheap guys you can potentially go to Trey Harris is going to be super popular. I just think I prefer the other options and, We're showing with the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗, what is it, probably going to be over twenty-five percent, I'm assuming. Yeah, we have twenty-three. It probably will be a little bit. I mean, his receiving prop is over fifty yards.

1:04:11

He's going to play every snap. No, I get the case. This could end up being just a train wreck situation for the Chargers offense, and this could just be it. I kind of like betting the Broncos here today. What's the spread? I thought it would move more. It's only three and a half. Like, I think the Broncos are a really good play if you're looking to get some action down. The Broncos D at $3,200.

1:04:34

Nobody's there and that's a really good spot here. Potentially, like you said, there's already injuries and everything. Everyone's talking about the injury on the Broncos side in this in the secondary. Obviously, certain is one that we actually give full credit to typically and say like, okay, this guy is locked down and shut down, but he doesn't have anyone to shut down today. There's no one there to play. And it's not being disrespectful to Trey Harris. Great.

1:04:53

And he's out there and the price is good, but we got to play our game, which is DFS. And if he's going to be I mean, if you're trying to unlock his ceiling, you kind of got to stack it up. Then if you really want to get that play them in cash, $4,100 bucks. Fair. Nobody else there. Makes sense. I think this could be one of those spots, though. We see a couple of different things. One could be Gadsden that you need.

1:05:14

You know, everybody rushes to the cheap wide receiver in the good spot. It ends up being the tight end. And by the way, Kohler is still questionable. I don't think we have the full update there, but we'll wait and see on that. But either way, I think Gadsden could be involved. He's $3,600. And then. Keaton Mitchell, you know, he's a guy at $4,500. He was already cutting in.

1:05:31

It was, you know, Hampton was getting his snap share cut into and Mitchell getting some checkdowns and catches and things like that, too. So seems like they want to use him. I think that's somewhat interesting. And then our guy, Kid Lightning, winner of a Golden shipping ticket last week and in the share ship this week, says spread hasn't moved because of this. And then he also said earlier, thank thank God my prayers would answer. We'll be at the game. R.J.

1:05:54

Harvey Day. Hard to get to R.J. Harvey, but I will say if you're Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Full explanation ↗ and stuff in the afternoon and there's a spot to go, R.J. Harvey and the Broncos D or just R.J. Harvey could be pretty interesting if the game plays out the way like even Hoop just mentioned. What if it is the Broncos smash spot and they get the job done here? So that could be something you see as well.

1:06:13

But anything else on this one title that you want to add after all that? If not, you can take us into the Lions at the Cardinals. Nope. And then, yeah, the game that... Sorry to cut you off. We'll hold. There's only two left. Just hold that. We'll go to the forty-niner Seahawks.

1:06:28

Get it out of the way because I also think there's Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Full explanation ↗ Seahawks forty-niner stuff to talk about to then bring it back and then we'll just close on the game everybody wants to focus on and probably spend a bunch more time there. Sorry to cut you off. No, I like that, and we've got to have Hoop lead off with that game, the Lions guy.

1:06:44

As far as this one, I mean, the first thing I always look at when I see Seattle games, what's JSN's OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗? Fifteen percent? Okay, I want to play JSN at fifteen percent. We already talked about all this value. I'm definitely good with double tight end. Yeah. I mean, give me all the JSN in the world. It wasn't great for him last week, but this should be a competitive game division game.

1:07:05

This Niners defense is not once we want, like how we were feared of this Niners defense a couple of years ago with Fred Wagner and all the, all the dogs out there, not the case anymore. So. I think JSN's in for a phenomenal game. Emmanuel Wilson another cheap running back that I'm going to get some interest in. He only played sixty percent of snaps last week, and it's probably going to be something around there like they're going to mix in Hawani.

1:07:30

But he's the goal line back. We're only showing thirteen percent. He's $5,300 allows you to jam in other Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Full explanation ↗. I think Emmanuel Wilson getting exposure to a twenty five team total is pretty good. And on the flip side for the Niners. I think really it's just George Kittle, and I really do like George Kittle at . I mean, he has had a great role so far this year, getting him the ball in multiple ways, run after the catch.

1:07:54

It's just tough for me with McCaffrey right now. I mean, it's mainly the price tag. Like when you're playing him, I personally would rather play Ja'Marr Chase, would rather play JSN, would obviously rather play Gibbs. I just think the opportunity costs at the price. It's too much for me today going into Seattle as underdogs. Obviously, you can catch a million checkdowns, but I think Seattle is kind of going to be on that. So it's Kittle, which I like a lot. It's JSN.

1:08:20

It's Emmanuel Wilson. Yeah, I don't know how much Darnold I'm going to play, but I mean, Darnold can go right to JSN. I mean, we just saw two weeks ago win exactly like this. JSN was showing about the same ownership. Darnold was about the same ownership. He threw for over three hundred and got the job done. So I don't hate it. Don't love it. But yeah, JSN for sure. Yeah, there's a few different things here. One, Addison News just came out.

1:08:43

So Addison, everyone's hoping for the OBJ day now. But you've got Jefferson. We'll wait and see. But I'm expecting we'll see Jefferson. So it's going to be interesting now to go back and think about that. The other thing I was going to say, I missed this one from the Broncos game, just circling back to some of this late swap stuff before Hoop takes over the forty niner Seahawks, is every Brissett Michael Wilson lineup. Can be Bo Nix, Jalen Waddle.

1:09:08

It's a hundred bucks up, a hundred bucks down, exact two V two. So if you're stuck out of the morning and wondering where you can go, does it feel as good? Definitely not, but you're not getting anywhere with Brissett and Wilson at that point. Again, we'll get to more on that in a minute, but that really stems from the Broncos game previously. And then hoop, I'll kick it over to you for forty Niners at the Seahawks.

1:09:28

JSN still popping like crazy, but it seems like people can't get to them, right? It's going to be expensive to get up to $8,800 there and people need the $9,800 for Gibbs as well. Well, one other thing, it might even go down more now with Addison ruled out with Jefferson. Jefferson's going to his ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Full explanation ↗ going to get a big bump and people are going to be looking to go there at a cheaper price. I wouldn't be surprised.

1:09:50

Yeah, Jason, he was higher on than I thought last week. And maybe it's just the nature of the slate and maybe people are into it. But now, like with this Detroit and Arizona situation, Jefferson probably going to pop a little bit. You know, ten, twelve percent maybe on JSN. Just if you're building a bunch of teams, I mean, you'd be a fool not to just include him every every single week. He is just phenomenal, phenomenal wide receiver. So like him, I like Emmanuel Wilson.

1:10:16

I the Christian McCaffrey stuff. I wanted to play him, but I just don't think I can get there. I want to make the case like He's a guy that we were playing in the previous years for the insane volume, like just the pass category. Like they're clearly not going to give him that early on in the season. And it's probably right. Like that's probably the right move. Like you don't want to get this guy injured. You're four and oh, things are good.

1:10:38

Like they're not going to give him the thirty touches that we have seen in the past and kind of need that from him to play him in fantasy. And then you have a tough matchup. So. So I'm probably just out on him. It's tough because he's been a staple every single week that he's healthy and playing. But I just don't think I can do it this week. The wide receivers for the forty Niners just can't really get their love Kittle, though.

1:11:05

I mean, you know, people are playing Trey McBride. You know, people are going to be playing Sam LaPorta. Bauer is going to get some ownership. Kittle has been phenomenal and really, I mean, probably almost wide receiver one for this team. So I really like Kittle. You could do a little mini here like Purdy, Kittle, JSN on the other side and maybe get some of those cheaper pieces from the Lions and Cardinals games. I don't hate that.

1:11:29

But, yeah, I'm not going to really be on the CMC stuff. Wilson, fine with him as well. You know, solid cheap running back. Looked good last week. He actually looked really solid. So, yeah, good with those individual pieces. But, yeah, I'm not going to – I don't think I'll get to, like, the Darnold stuff or anything like that. Yeah, we won't get a true ownership sense. I mean, we'll get the ownership sense, like you said, right now.

1:11:51

We've got an idea of it, but we won't get the real outcome of it because of the late swap situation on this slate and how it will work out then. We'll have to see how those morning running backs do and all the opportunities that people go with in the morning, how they actually shake out. But I will say... If JSN's getting all the way there, I'm probably bringing Darnold with him.

1:12:08

I actually like the same idea that you had there, Hoop, but I'd probably just do Darnold, JSN, Kittle, and then we'll fill it out with the rest there. And I don't know how it'll look, but I would like to still try and maybe get Gibbs into that. I just think it's going to be tricky. So I'll look at it. We'll be... Hop off.

1:12:24

But I do think if a $8,800 JSN is going to break the slate and get to the house, I kind of want to run it with a $5,800 Darnold who's just three hundred bucks more than Brissett. So it's like I can get a lineup that makes sense and still build it out. And I like titles point on Kittle and what you said about McCaffrey. I mean, last week they didn't even really have what was Evans out to and on.

1:12:45

They're still not even using the guy as much as they have been. And now you got Evans back in. So it's just What's the incentive? They're four and O. They're in cruise control. What's the incentive to push the guy? I just don't think it's going to happen. I don't know. Later on in the season, into the playoffs, he has had some injuries. They're going to, I think, continue down this path, probably fifteen-ish carries and five-ish receptions.

1:13:10

Yeah, I'm trying to see some of the other swaps. Our guy GoCollect threw one out there. He said you could swap Reset Wilson McBride to darn old JSN Barner and leave the . So what scenario, like so people understand, like what scenario would you implement that sort of swap? Like what would have to happen in the afternoon games for you to make that – what would have to happen in the early games for you to make that swap in the afternoon?

1:13:32

I think it's going to be a lot of the running backs because pretty much all the lineups that are going to have what? We've got – Who did we talk about here? We'll go through it. Aaron Jones, Allen, if people actually play Judkins, Warren in a great injury spot. You've got a couple others as well, right? DeAndre Swift as well. So I guess to me, it's like, that's what it's going to come down to.

1:13:52

I think a lot of people will have two running backs from the morning with Gibbs in their flex, right? That's what I feel. Like a lot of these lineups are going to set up like, and then they'll have Brissett, Wilson, McBride, or whatever version of that. So if those running backs bust for you in the morning and for everybody else, a lot of people will just hold put on that game and just say, oh, hopefully I get to a Min-CashA min-cash is the smallest prize in a contest, earned by finishing just inside the paid places. In tournaments it is usually a small multiple of the entry fee.Do not judge a tournament slate by how many lineups min-cashed. Track your top finishes, since that is where tournament profit actually comes from.Full explanation ↗.

1:14:12

It's just, there's going to be a lot of people that do that. So I would be looking to swap if my running backs, especially if both of them bust in the morning, at least to start off. Title, do you got more to add? No, I think that's a great, I was going to say something similar. Okay. Hoop, do you have any more thoughts on, I mean, obviously you're playing in these tournaments at the highest level. Like what, what are your thoughts on the Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Full explanation ↗?

1:14:31

I mean, like, I think like you got like a middling outcome or something early on, like full bus, like you're probably done. Like, you know, no matter what, you can give yourself a chance to make the swap. But if you have like a middling outcomes with, with your lineup and there's some guys that went off that you don't have, then I think that's when you kind of looked at to maybe make those, those sort of swaps. Like they did. Okay. But not like, not like great.

1:14:53

And I know that, other things went better in the morning games that I don't have. And then maybe you start to look to make some of those moves in the afternoon. Yeah. It's almost like, you know, then in that case, I think, like you said, it's almost like when you're, unless you really have a great morning, it's probably swap. It's just, you maybe don't know what you're swapping to, but unless you really have the ability.

1:15:14

And I think this Detroit, Arizona game, it's going to be played with everything. So whatever goes off in the morning, like those people are going to have Detroit, Arizona. So it's like, you're, If you don't have it, that's when you should be. And you don't even have to abandon the game. I mean, we'll get into it, obviously. But if you have Brissett stuff, you know the Brissett stuff is going to be way more popular than the Jared Goff stacks.

1:15:36

And there's things to do without just fully abandoning the game, like in terms of swaps and whatnot.

1:15:42

Agreed I love that point that you made and that's why I think it's important that people think about this when they're out there doing it especially just from a strat like a process perspective too for people out there like you can't always check you can go into optimizer late swap everything etc etc but I think you also should be looking at it from your main builds and being prepared in advance you don't have to know what the late swap is I go sometimes the extra step to make sure I know that too um in bigger tournaments like the mega today things like that I'm going to look ahead but when you got your big expensive lineup,

1:16:10

So whatever the majority of your money is on, you need to be focused on those to put yourself in the position to actually pay it off and know that like, if this went well, I can hold up. If it didn't go well, or it's middling, like hoop said, someone probably has me covered. What tournament am I? How many other teams are there out there?

1:16:24

Like, wow, if you don't got it, you should probably move off it and not just, Oh, I'll just leave it and move on to next week. There's ways that you can move it around to at least get yourself some cash to be able to play and free roll next week at that, at that same time. So yeah, I got one more thing to add on that because I think people like it.

1:16:40

So if you're already, if you're done for first place or even top five equity at that point, you're playing a min Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Full explanation ↗. So sometimes you need to pivot and get different to that, get to the min cash. But sometimes if like, all right, You had four flames but one snowflake, and you know, all right, that snowflake was a zero. I can't fully get to the top. But maybe, hey, don't swap off because you're not playing really for the top anymore.

1:17:03

If you're a zero when you see other people smash, then you don't got to go too crazy and then cost yourself that min cash equity. You can just play for that game. You're playing a different – the more known, the more information that's known as the slate goes on, then you should be able to know what other lineups are doing. What yours is. Can I be in first? No. Okay. I'm playing mid cash. Yes, I can be in first.

1:17:24

I had one kind of dud in middle guy. I can swap off and then I'm playing that game and your swaps are a little different. So, I probably could have worded it way better, but you nailed it. And I want to add on to that, not to just keep going, but I think people really struggle with late swap. I know they do, matter of fact, because they come to me and talk about it or say like, hey, I can't figure this out.

1:17:40

When do I do this? One thing you said that's critical and it ties into it is also what tournament you're in. If you're in a winner take all live final seat or something like that, you have to be thinking about I need first or else it's bust. I've seen people make a swap when, you know, fifth place was still incredible money. And like you said, they had no chance at first anymore, but they swapped anyway.

1:18:04

And what would have finished like fifth or fourth and still been a huge day for them. And it's like, that was a mistake in like in the reverse because like, damn, you should have held helpful. I thought if there was no chance at first I had to swap. It's like, yeah, but Fifth was $20,000 and you're in for two hundred like that. You should have held on to get that.

1:18:20

But again, they don't always look at it or know that of it. So I think that's important to try and help people understand. But in the Discord, we're always talking about this stuff over at Ship It Nation. Take us into this last one, Hoop. We got plenty of time left still from our normal show rate. It doesn't matter. We can stay longer just noting it. But we save the time for this game. It is the Lions at the Cardinals. You said it.

1:18:39

We've been early on this. Everyone's caught up now and knows the spot. This game is just extremely owned. Go ahead. Not to bury the lead, but I just wanted to cover this real quick before we get into it. Jefferson is expected to play, and I will say, just thinking about this now in my head a little bit, with Addison out, Jefferson in, I am way more interested in the Kyler Murray stuff. He's got the bailout guys now.

1:19:01

You've got Jefferson who you can just chuck it up to, and you've got a chance. TJ Hawkins, dump off, you've got a chance. And dump off to Aaron Jones. So now I think I like – man, it sucks to say this, but I think I like Kyler. A lot more now. I don't know. Let's go, Drake May Kyler. I already liked him, so of course. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I think I'm going to...

1:19:23

He's .五二百 is a pivot from Merced, and you have the concentration, but he can also run. Yeah, and let me be clear. He still sucks as a fucking NFL quarterback. Like, that has not changed, but for this week, fantasy-wise, I'm... Think I'm bumping him a little bit. Tambo, what are your thoughts on that? Well, you just sold me hard because I want to add one more thing. All I'm thinking about is the slate dynamics.

1:19:42

And it's like you said, I, this is what people get so caught up in it. You're saying, you know, you got to come around on Kyler. So it sucks. You know, I never care about who the guys are. I just care about the lineups and the builds and the field. Yeah. With no, okay, this is important, with no Mike Washington Jr.

1:19:56

Today anymore, we're not expecting, again, we'll wait and see, but if Gentee plays, people are not going to have their $4,200 running back to go to, which means where do they got to go find their value at wide receiver? When you go with Kyler, I don't know how I'm building a Kyler lineup in something big today without Kyler, JJ, and Olave at least.

1:20:16

So where I can't just go plug in all the values, it's going to be a much more Balanced BuildA balanced build spreads salary fairly evenly across a lineup, using mostly mid-priced players instead of a few stars and several minimum-salary players.Go balanced when the slate lacks trustworthy cheap plays. Forcing stars and scrubs without real value just fills your lineup with players who have no role.Full explanation ↗, but with two wide receivers in that game that look overpriced, but I put them into the same game where it matters the most if they actually go off. How much is it worth to me? Like title always says, that's, that's a great opportunity right there.

1:20:32

I think that we found and I feel good about it and people have a little bit of time to react, but I don't know. I don't think it's going to go crazy. So I do like that quite a bit. All right. So for the Lions and Cardinals, I mean, obviously the game of the week. I mean, this is the spot everyone's going to want to go to. Like there's there's no doubt about it. I mean, Lions defense.

1:20:50

We've been talking about it since week one. Their secondary is ass cheeks, butt cheeks. You know, title has all the sayings for that sort of thing can add on to it. They they're horrible. And they knew we knew that coming into the season and it's played out right in front of our eyes. They can't stop anyone. They have a three touchdown lead. The other team is making a comeback.

1:21:09

If they are playing from behind, the other team can continue on and put up points. As you saw in Buffalo, there's just this defense can't stop anything. So what about Kelvin Shepard? Just interrupt. Got to go. I mean, just say it doesn't matter what he said. He's an idiot. These were the right calls being asked about what was wrong. These were the right calls. Yeah, he can relay that message in his next job interview because he's not lasting through this season.

1:21:37

There's no way. I made the right calls last time. I made the right calls. See how that works out for you, buddy, because his ass needs to go, and we'll see. I mean, if they are horrible today, I bet he gets fired.

1:21:48

I mean, just – take some accountability just say we can do better like I you know the player we can play better as a unit like just a statement like that is just the answer like you got the aaron Rogers one that title said earlier we got to do better what do you got to do better aaron I got to talk to those coaches about those play calls yeah it's like you can call the audible you're out there it's your game you're the captain the leader everything it's just hilarious but yeah keep going So this is one of those games, though, where you got to be careful how you play it.

1:22:17

Like, if you go into this one and play Brissett with Michael Wilson and run it back with Jameer Gibbs, you got to beat every other combination on the slate because everyone's going to have that with everything else. If you do that with Brissett, Trey McBride, Jameer Gibbs on the other side, like, same thing. You're going to have to beat everything else on the slate because everyone has that. So... This is the spot where we always talk about the over stack is in play.

1:22:44

The over stack is going to be more popular than most over stacks. You guys know I love the over stack stuff and I'm going to play it today. Don't get me wrong, but What you do outside of that, you got to be careful with because it's going to be just a very popular thing. People are going to do it. So if you are overstacking it, like I like taking it to the extreme, not just five pieces.

1:23:07

Give me six pieces and just hope this is the spot. So I think everything you do in this game, you got to take it to the next level because it's just the obvious spot that everyone's. Going to go to. One interesting situation, though, I think Brissett is going to be way more owned than Jared Goff. Goff is the quarterback that has the thirty team total. Brissette is the quarterback of the team that has the twenty four team total.

1:23:31

So that's one situation right there at the quarterback position. You go to running back Man, like, how tilted will everyone be when it's, like, Algier scoring, like, two touchdowns? Like, because I'm not playing it, but, like, that's how this game does bust. Love for Algier having a big game. Not playable for me for DFS, but, man, that's how people get annoyed really quickly. Jameer Gibbs, phenomenal play. Everyone's going to be on him. The pass catchers, Amonra St. Brown, good play, but it's going to be owned.

1:24:04

Michael Wilson is going to be owned. But after that, the pass catchers, the wide receivers, not so much. I think Jamison Williams is a phenomenal, phenomenal play today. He's been horrible, dropped passes. But like his OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ compared to everything else in this game, just it's not adequate enough. So I love Jamison Williams. I'm going to include some TeSlaa. I mean, not going to be all that owned. I think definitely under five percent. He's got the ability to do some big things.

1:24:34

Kendrick Bourne I just figured I guess when Harrison got got ruled out that he would just be super popular on the slate I think people are still hesitant on it because they want to see him do it before they invest in it I'm going heavy Kendrick Bourne today I'll make that very clear like wide receiver two in this game that could potentially shoot out and showing like ten percent owned like give me Kendrick Bourne, who is the, oh, Trey Harris.

1:25:00

Give me Kendrick Bourne over Trey Harris all day. Like you're, I mean, I know the prices aren't exactly similar, but I will take the guy in the game that's projected to score a ton of points at maybe a third of the ownership. He could end up being like ten and then Harris could potentially get up to thirty. So love that spot. LaPorta, Trey McBride, both phenomenal plays.

1:25:22

McBride is going to be the guy people go to, though, if you're playing a tight end in this game. So you know, the plays, I mean, we, but like, how, how do you do this a little bit differently? Extreme over stack, I think is clearly in play golf over reset. If you are going to come to this game in your hand building Jamison Williams, I think is a really, really good tournament play Kendrick Bourne.

1:25:42

And then the tight ends are just the tight ends are both really good plays. So And this game makes this a very unique slate because the total in this one is about ten points higher than everything else on the slate. The Bears game has come up a little bit like we talked about, but this is just a spot everyone's going to go to. Definitely don't come here and do Brissett, Trey McBride and Jameer Gibbs and move on like that. That's definitely doing it wrong.

1:26:08

Yeah, I think, Title, you're in the cash streets. Do the Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Full explanation ↗ countdown every week for us on Fridays. You're playing a bunch of cash games. I think it's pretty easy just to play Reset, Wilson, McBride, Gibbs, and fill in all the pieces because we've got all the pieces. We talked about earlier whether it's Rowan Wilson, Trey Harris, DeAndre Swift, whatever people end up going to and decide on. That's what I said. It kind of ends up with the $6,000 running backs.

1:26:28

With the well not all the $6,000's but some of them and then it gets you into these cheaper wide receivers that just fill out around this Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Full explanation ↗ not gonna work in tournaments very often if it does I mean you're chopping it a bunch of ways or you're you know battling for the perfect outcome threading the needle on your one guy different or two guys different and that's just the variance if it goes that way great it could happen what's your take on this game especially from a large tournament field perspective like how people are wanting to build this for Yeah, I mean, I'm definitely going to be in on plenty of it.

1:26:57

So the ones I like, I think, to the field, because I have a group. The ones I like, even at OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗, Michael Wilson, of course, should surprise no one. Jameer Gibbs, everything runs through him. Trey McBride, Burnett, Aminra LaPorta. The ones I don't like, Jamison Williams. I mean, his prop is fifty two and a half receiving yards and like plus one eighty five to score. And he's done nothing all year. He's getting ownership because of the game environment.

1:27:25

I get it, but not where I want to be based on props looking at.

1:27:29

Versus ownership jeremiah love uh not really getting any ownership but like algier out snapped him last week forty seven and a half rushing prop he is minus one ten to score if you think or have some inside information that he is going to play seventy percent of the snaps I need to be a phenomenal play I just I don't I don't see why that would be the case after um all this coach or all this talk um and then what I saw last week with with algier so jeremiah loves the one I don't like as well Tisla is the other one where like, man, like so born into slots, just lost twenty four and a half receiving prop.

1:28:02

Like he's going to get some ownership just because people want exposure to this game. But I mean, if twenty three and a half receiving prop on a main slate, like usually gets you point eight percent ownership. Now he's going to be three point five percent. I know three point five, blah, blah, blah. Still, I can't really make a case for someone implied for that when we have other value on the slate that we've talked about.

1:28:23

Kendrick Bourne, I'm going to get a little bit, but then again, go and look at the receiving prop, which I've talked about, thirty one and a half. Trey Harris is over fifty and a half. And again, he's getting a lot more ownership, but he's shows that he is a much better play on paper. Malik Washington, I think, is a much better play on paper. When I play this game, I actually think – I don't see myself, I don't think, jamming the over stack as much.

1:28:46

I think I see myself maybe going Burnett. You can pick Wilson McBride and then play one, maybe two on the Lions. But, again, this is where I think my favorite way to approach it is play other stacks or like skinny stacks, Kyler or Drake May or whatever, and then fill it out with the skill position players, hoping other offenses get close enough in this game – The quarterbacks can outscore Burnett or get close enough to the Burnett golfs of the world.

1:29:12

They bring a LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ pass catcher with them, a single-digit owned, and then you just jam the ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Full explanation ↗ around it. So I think that's my favorite way to go about it. Again, it's really hard. I'm playing so many teams today. I don't know how many, but definitely way over one-fifty. I'll have a portfolio. My portfolio will tell a story. Other people, though, don't always play that many teams, so they want more of a take with it.

1:29:34

If I had to have a take, again, it's Tislaw, Love, Jamo, I don't love too much. Bourne, I don't love a lot. I think Wilson, Gibbs, McBride, Aminra, LaPorta, all phenomenal. I like Brissett a lot more than Goff, even at higher ownership. It's the eleven hundred goes a long way. But I do think I'm going to be overweight on some of those other skinny stacks that I talked about and play this game is like a secondary way with the skill position players.

1:29:59

Slate just got a little crazier, too, because now we got Chase and T both in $6,900 Burrow. Stack them up. Malik Washington. There's a lot of ways you can go this game. Obviously, the headliner and you broke it down nice there. I think, you know, the main thing for me is, again, It's we use the props all the time. I think they're right way more often than not. That's why we love having title on the props and getting those out to you guys.

1:30:23

I just don't think if you're rolling into this as the over stack, I don't think we're considering that because it's more of like, what would make this pop off? It's probably like, honestly, there's a chance that you need one guy from this game and it's Gibbs or Amun-Ra or McBride or something and just breaks it at that position or something along those lines. But there is other spots. We made cases for them.

1:30:44

I'm looking at like the Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Full explanation ↗ stuff in this of, you know, Gibbs, Trey McBride. Everyone will have that, but it's like most will have an over stack around it. If there was a way to slow it down, it's like McBride can break a onesie position. And if Bowers does nothing, even more Likely for that to happen. And you can play two tight ends. So you can say, oh, but what about the cheapie gets there?

1:31:03

You might still need them in your other stack we just talked about. Gibbs is obviously the... Look, if somebody said to you right now, Gibbs, Amin Ra, Michael Wilson, and Trey McBride, you can only pick one. I don't think there's anyone in this world that's not picking... It's between Gibbs and McBride, first of all. And then it's probably Gibbs that they lean on based on the slate.

1:31:22

Even though there's five or six other running backs, it's just where people are going to end up. So I think you got to think about some other angles here. A couple I have, and then we'll see what you guys think. But one is Lions D. They're horrible. Who harped on it the entire season. If you're not going to play... Anything from the other side, you could just land there and play them at $3,000.

1:31:41

Another thing I'm thinking about is like just stacking up golf heavy. No Gibbs golf. Amin Ra JMO TeSlaa golf. Amin Ra JMO born. Leave out Wilson McBride. Play love if you want. Don't play love. Love says he's a full go. Coaches sound good on him. No one's playing him. He's $6,100. He's right in the same game on the opposite side of Gibbs. So. Do I love all these? Not really.

1:32:05

But do I recognize for this slate they're going to be important and there's ways to think about it that you have to plug those into your thoughts, lineups, concepts, things that you're doing? Yes. So I don't know what you guys think. I'll kick it back to you, Hoop. But, you know, Goff, Aminra, Jamo, LaPorta, Bourne. Okay. Like they're all names that people are talking about. Love. Like that's a Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Full explanation ↗. It's an over stack, but I don't got Gibbs. Don't got Wilson.

1:32:28

Don't have McBride. I think that'll be scary for a lot of people to have none of those guys, but it could happen. And guys, like I said earlier, JMO TeSlaa born, who cares what they've done for us lately. We only care about today. And right now I want them. I want them to break the, break the prop, break the slate, break the game open and get the game sped up. That that's what I'm hoping for.

1:32:50

Yeah, I like the non-Gibbs teams are probably my favorite in the GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Full explanation ↗ because he's just going to be a lock and load for a lot of people, the first guy they click on. And there's a path for him to not be on optimal, even having a good game.

1:33:09

He has, you know, probably doesn't land him on optimal so give me guys like you know jt that we talked about I think it's a perfect example like in in this situation play you know Jonathan Taylor DK Metcalf as a little Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Full explanation ↗ and then load up on the other pieces in this game however you want to do it like We talked about title doesn't love Jamo, but that's a way to get a little bit different in this game.

1:33:34

Jamison Williams play LaPorta over McBride. Yes, LaPorta is going to have ownership, but if people are just clicking this game, it's McBride they're clicking before they go to LaPorta. Bourne, if you like the love stuff, that's fine. I'm not going to be in on the Jeremiah love stuff, but that's a way to do this game a little bit different. So my favorite large field tournament sort of builds with this game is probably no Gibbs.

1:33:56

Give me guys like you know jt is the example we keep using I love that Jonathan Taylor and then you know however else you want to do this game um so that that's that's you know how I'm looking at this like the non-gibbs teams are probably my favorite way in the large field tournaments and that's the the way that this game like at the end of the day if this is the game you need I could see it being that sort of way, that sort of build.

1:34:23

But, you know, we told you, like, this game was going to be discussed all show long, and I haven't really seen it like Title VII opening. There really hasn't been a slate like this that I can think of where you have one game that just looks so appealing, and then you're just trying to make the case for other things on the slate. Yeah, I think that you nailed it there.

1:34:42

And that's why even that FFWC that I brought up, that was the Buffalo Detroit game in the afternoon. That was just like far and away off the charts. It was risky to fade it. All these, the guys that you saw at the top of that live final all had Multi-EntryMulti-entry means entering more than one lineup into the same contest. A contest's entry limit, such as 3, 20 or 150, sets how many lineups one user can submit.Set your total spend for the slate first, then divide it into entries. Multi-entry should spread a fixed budget across more outcomes, not raise how much you put at risk.Full explanation ↗. So that's where that comes from, right? We'll take some shots here and go off the board. But a lot of people were on that Buffalo Detroit game. This is very similar.

1:35:00

Title, do you have any other final thoughts on this game? Just wrapping it up. I'll add one quick before I kick it to you. But like Hoops said, LaPorta owned? Sure. One third. McBride. Jamison Williams owned? Sure. People are playing him. One third of Michael Wilson. Again, how it actually shakes out. We'll see. It could actually be one quarter. Once you get to the high stakes stuff, but from a large field perspective, I would imagine it'll be, you know, half to one third of their ownership.

1:35:23

And you could say that on a lot of different spots here. So it is somewhat interesting from that perspective too, when you are stacking it up where people say, of course the game hit, but I was on all the wrong pieces and it was still pieces that were in play, but just not enough on ownership. Any final thoughts on this one from you? Man, I just can't believe that DraftKings has the Lions D at $3,000 and the FanDuelism at $4,100.

1:35:44

Like what? What is DraftKings and FanDuel? And to your point, I mean, they're one percent. How this game buses your lineup telling a story. I'm not hating on the play. I just when you said the Lions defense, I went to look for him and I expected like $2,400. They know, man, you know, these sites know it's all rigged. It's all scripted. Remember, like they tell us on X after like all the everything's against the sports betting world and all this shit.

1:36:05

But no, it is crazy. Their prices are up to that level. I guess it's just a matter of like I said, you know, it's not it doesn't feel great, but it would make sense. And also for DraftKings, the Lions are one hundred bucks more than the Commanders. Yeah, I just don't know what these sites algorithm made, like this Lions defense, $3,000. Like, I don't know, but I found that funny, but no, I have nothing more to add.

1:36:28

It's, this is the game you're going to have to get right. But again, there's only three games in the afternoon window. So that Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Full explanation ↗ kind of what we talked about. Are you playing for first place still? Are you playing for top five? Don't switch swap off to get crazy off of this game and sacrifice just because you can't take first, but you can take fourth. Don't be doing all that.

1:36:46

But yeah, Yeah, if you know you're drawn dead and you're trying to play for him in cash and you have to get different to get to him in cash, that's when you do stuff like that. But this is the game. Yeah, Randy Moss Jr., of course. But now he's ninety five million percent on instead of two percent like we've had all year. Yeah, yeah. But I mean, yeah, I mean, still lock and load. I mean, his props insane like it should be.

1:37:08

Yeah. What was the other thing I was just seeing before we wrap this thing up? Will Shipley. Going to be a good day, maybe. Will Shipley gets a touchdown overseas. That's good for the Ship It Nation vibes. You get a little shipper going early on. Title, any other final thoughts on the entire slate from you or anything else you want to add before we get out of here? No, free money Sunday, eleven games and go brew crew.
