Shows / NBA/ Wednesday, November 4, 2026
From the archive. This breakdown is for the Wednesday, November 4 NBA slate. Salaries, weather and picks were for that day.
Latest NBA show →Rio Turner and Zach Trivett break down an eleven-game slate with abundant cheap wings and a strong midrange. Karl-Anthony Towns ($8,300) gets extra rebounding opportunity without Josh Hart, while Paul George ($7,200) benefits from Jayson Tatum's absence. Anthony Davis attacks Atlanta's weak rim defense, and Kyshawn George remains underpriced. Jalen Johnson's status could elevate CJ McCollum and Nickeil Alexander-Walker, while Payton Pritchard's availability changes Boston's guard and wing priorities.
Donovan Clingan ($6,200) gets the strongest overweight call against Phoenix's poor rebounding. Portland-Phoenix is the preferred late game, with Suns pieces offering low-owned correlation. Scottie Barnes stands out against Denver, and Collin Murray-Boyles becomes especially attractive if Jakob Poeltl sits. Preserve forward or UTIL flexibility to pivot to Cameron Johnson. Cheap wings support midrange-heavy builds, while late injury news creates opportunities to backload tournament lineups rather than follow early chalk.
| Play | Call | The Take | At |
|---|---|---|---|
| LEVERAGE | A lower salary and recent ceiling performance make him a contrarian spend-up if ownership remains in single digits, although he is not a priority. | 6:57 | |
| UNDERWEIGHT | Avoid him against Joel Embiid because of foul risk, but reconsider if Embiid is ruled out. | 7:27 | |
| ONE-OFF | One of the main Atlanta targets if Jalen Johnson misses, with a strong production bump and a favorable matchup against Washington's pick-and-roll defense. | 9:58 | |
| ONE-OFF | A primary Atlanta target if Jalen Johnson sits, but much less appealing at the price with everyone healthy. | 10:43 | |
| ONE-OFF | Atlanta's weak rim defense creates substantial upside at $8,400, with additional rebounding opportunity if Alex Sarr misses. | 11:25 | |
| UNDERWEIGHT | Some exposure is reasonable, but double-digit ownership would be too much with scoring and usage spread across Washington's roster. | 11:50 | |
| VALUE | At $5,500 he remains underpriced for his minutes and growing ball-handling role, with further opportunity if Bilal Coulibaly sits. | 12:09 | |
| His minutes have been increasing after an early restriction, and his ability to push the pace after rebounds adds appeal, although his unrestricted workload remains uncertain. | 12:34 | ||
| Hornets | FADE | The slate's lowest total and the returns of Coby White and Kon Knueppel make Charlotte unattractive, particularly with Brandon Miller priced at $8,400. | 15:57 |
| FADE | His long-term outlook is encouraging, but this slow, low-total matchup is not a spot to play him. | 16:12 |
Systems go. Clear for liftoff.
What is going on everybody happy Wednesday I'm with the man the myth the legend the million dollar man hebrew cheetah no one in here cares one word I gotta say not that you even should in the NBA street so I'm throwing it to Rio right away how you feeling a couple days off of that million uh thoughts on this NBA SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate eleven games we got a big boy yep feeling good um once again support over the last couple days still still flowing in so appreciate everybody that has been reaching out Got a good NBA slate on tap tonight, though.
Everybody's favorite five-dollar tournament is back, so you can throw in some lottery lineups there and hopefully come away with $100,000 tonight like our girl Nika did. I believe it was exactly a week ago. See, we got that contest back tonight. I think that you could probably actually, if you have Saverson, go ahead and look back at her portfolio. I know she talked a lot about her Process for that one. So I think a lot of that is applicable tonight.
But yeah, the slate looks pretty good. I think these games will look better than there was last week for sure. I think every team but two are on the NBA slate tonight outside of this MAIN slate. I think there's like two or three more at the night game. But overall, yeah, it looks like a pretty solid slate. Yeah, I definitely agree. FanDuel is only doing eight games, so every game we talk about on DraftKings is applicable to FanDuel as well.
Matt Belman has the Slate Station up, so definitely check that out. Coors will be up as always. Cash, Coors, DraftKings, and FanDuel. You can also see we have the new Usage RateUsage rate estimates the percentage of a team's offensive plays a player uses while on the court, based on shot attempts, free throw attempts and turnovers. It does not measure assists or time spent holding the ball.Check who shared the floor in any usage sample. Numbers collected against reserves or with several starters missing may not describe the role you are projecting tonight.Read the full definition of Usage Rate in the Slate Station down below if this guy's injured, what it does for others. Of course, the Stone, the Stone 2.0.O. Allows you to virtual hand build. Let me just share... The Shippenation website right now, because you didn't mention Nika in last week on Wednesday.
Yeah, the exact day a week from today won the $100,000 and that five dollar. Do you go to see plans and pricing if you are the starter or have starter or ultimate package? What Rio said, the contest flashback, being able to go back and see what Nika's Player PoolA player pool is the set of players you consider using in your DFS lineups for a slate, the games or events included in a contest. You do have that ability with the starter and ultimate package, as well as building five hundred teams when you're only able to build one hundred with the core.
You also get SaberSim's ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. The longer you're with us, the more savings you get, say, twenty percent with the core and starter for annual versus monthly. You save ten percent with the ultimate. This gets you contest Sims ability to build $5,000 teams, same ROIs, what Rio used to win all of the money and what a lot of people use nowadays.
So if you're playing a couple hundred bucks a day, I do think that is something you should definitely look into. We also do have single sport NBA packages as well. As you can see below with SaberSim, without SaberSim, again, only gets cheaper the longer you're with us. So we'd love to have you. And we love the new website over here. A lot to look at.
Also, many probably don't know, but if you go to more DFS Process, one-on-one, you can find education videos for NFL, NBA, MMA, MLB, et cetera. NBA though, you can check it out. So definitely check that out if you have not already and you're looking to learn a little more about NBA. Hopping back over to SaberSim, just looking at the times. That's what I always do. So we got seven Eastern is lock.
And then we got a couple of seven thirty games, a couple eight o'clock games, one eight thirty game and then two nine o'clock games. So everything is condensed within two hours, which I think is pretty solid. No, I think this is probably one of the better slates we've had all year just with the way that it's spread out, the way you get some backloading and late swap opportunity. I think that it could be pretty viable tonight with some injury tags later on the slate or just some pretty decent game environments later on. Overall, I think it gives you a lot of flexibility, so I'm looking forward to that. I like it. I say we get in right into it.
First game of the night since eleven to talk about no time to waste. Two and a half point favorites are the Detroit Pistons over the Philadelphia Seventy Sixers. Nineteen and a half or two. Nineteen and a half over under looking at the injury report in this one, starting on the Philly side. No Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. In DFS, it also affects opportunities for teammates and opponents. Before an uncertain player's game locks, identify an alternative you can afford at each affected position. And then on the Detroit side.
We have, I mean, Durant's been out, Isaiah Joe, but no new injuries on either side. I saw something with Embiid in our Discord. What, is it just the same old Embiid's going to be dealing with, I couldn't even remember exactly what, was it the same planter, fasciitis, whatever that he had, or what exactly was that with Embiid? He is playing tonight, but same old stuff, it seems. Yeah, I believe it was a plantar fasciitis.
I don't know if they've put up their injury report just yet, so that was one I would be keeping an eye on. Maybe there's some late news and he gets downgraded. Definitely within the realm of possibilities, but the spread of this game probably indicates that he's playing. I think they'd be maybe like five-point underdogs if he wasn't playing. I don't know if you have any thoughts there as more of like the betting expert here.
Man, first of all, I definitely would consider a betting expert. But I will say with how good the Seventy Sixers team is now, two and a half points for just Embiid feels pretty steep. Maybe last year, but now that they have more bodies, four, I think one and a half points as good as I could give it. Okay. Yeah, that makes sense. So, yeah, probably would assume that he's in then. But definitely keep an eye on that.
I think the line is saying that he's in. I do agree with that. First game on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate, so we'll get that news for sure. But, yeah, something to definitely be ready to react to if it does happen. But easily one of the least appealing game environments on the slate. We have two of the top three defenses in this one, I believe – Philly is number two or three, and then vice versa for Detroit. But either way, a middling pace, two-nineteen and a half total.
Really not super excited about this one as a whole. Detroit has one of the best pick-and-roll defenses in the league. Philly doesn't really shoot enough threes either to exploit the three-point vulnerable defense that Detroit does have, so I'm not super excited about that one.
I'd say on the Detroit side, Cade Cunningham is somewhat of an exception as a Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership does stay in the single digits because we're starting to get him at a lower price tag than he was earlier in the season and he's been playing really well had sixty DK points on Monday against Charlotte and that was just in three quarters I don't think he even played at all in the fourth quarter so it was on his way to a massive game still showed up on a lot of winning lineups in that one so I do think that he is a contrarian contrarian spend of option but not necessarily a priority not
Going to play Paul Reed against Joel Embiid just too much foul risk there and he has been fouling a ton so I don't But like I said, if Embiid does get downgraded and ruled out, then that would impact Paul Reed positively. Saar, just not playing enough minutes, and there's pretty solid small forward and power forward options tonight that I think we can get away from him.
I would say Duncan Robinson does deserve a little bit of a shout because he's been playing so well, shooting forty five percent from three this season, nearly thirty DK points a game. So if you want to go there, you could. But expecting there to be much better point per dollar values later in the slate. Philly side, you already talked about it. Yeah, this one's a pretty quick one. Yeah, I can't. Just looking at that.
If Embiid was ruled out before LeBron, Maxie birthday narrative people are talking about, I could care less about a birthday narrative. But if he, for some reason, was ruled out, then I think the studs you can get to. But I agree, not much ownership going into this game. A little bit on the Detroit side, but nothing on the Philly side. All right, let's get to the next game on the slates. Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards.
Three and a half point favorites are the Hawks. Two-thirty and a half total in this one. Jalen Johnson, questionable. Obviously, very big news on the Washington side. Kulibale and Sarr is questionable. Glad this game's at seven Eastern because big news on both sides. Just looking at the Hawks, no one's really getting OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership, but if Jalen Johnson misses, that will definitely change. Daniel, CJ, all in the $6,000 range, I think would look strong. Okong would get a big bump as well.
And then, yeah, on the wizard side, I believe Sar missed last game. But yeah, he's questionable again today. These Wizards are playing good.
I got a, a buddy I played poker with that's bet the Wizards like every single game so far this year and they still seem under uh priced in the market they were what plus one thirty against a pretty depleted magic team last time so this team's good man and it's fun to see aj join uh ad trey young kishan george I'm excited for for the Wizards but yeah what are you doing for DFS in this one I would say that this is one of the more appealing game environments on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. You said two-thirty and a half, seeing two-thirty-one, but either way it was two-thirty-two earlier in the day, getting bet down a little bit. But I just still think that with the potential Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. In DFS, it also affects opportunities for teammates and opponents. Before an uncertain player's game locks, identify an alternative you can afford at each affected position. And we have a pretty strong idea of where that's coming from on the Hawks side of Jalen Johnson, where to miss.
Nicole alexander walker and cj mccollum are two that see the biggest boost in their fantasy point per minute production now is up to one point three seven Fantasy Points Per Minute (FPPM)Fantasy points per minute (FPPM) measures a player's fantasy production per minute played. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value play but those would be the two that I'm really looking at uh Atlanta has been kind of underwhelming defensively they've We're really good in the second half of last season, but this year allowing the second highest rim frequency and the fourth highest field goal percentage at the rim.
So overall, I'd probably say that the combination of those two stats, they got to be. One of, if not the worst rim defenses in the league. So we're looking at a pretty good spot for the front court guys, anybody that's going to be attacking the rim on the wizard side of things. And then Washington does give up the third most pick and roll points. So a pretty good spot for the guards.
So I think that would definitely bring CJ and Alexander Walker into play here in a, in a pretty big way. So those are the two I'm keying in on assuming Jalen Johnson does miss. If Johnson plays, then I would say it's probably closer to a stay away because these prices a little bit tougher with a fully healthy roster. Um, Yeah, and it kind of seems like he's going to miss.
I mean, the fact that he had Monday off and then was still questionable yesterday is a little bit concerning. So I'm kind of moving forward with the fact that he's going to miss this one. But either way, first game of the slate, so we'll definitely have that news beforehand. On the Washington side, I think that there's a ton to like here, and it's mainly the four guys from fifth to five hundred up, so Keyshawn George all the way up to Anthony Davis.
For AD, like I said, with the Atlanta's rim defense being so bad, it sets up beautifully for him, and his offensive efficiency is really good playing alongside Trey Young, so I'm looking to him, and especially if Alex Sarr were to miss get the Double-DoubleA double-double is when a basketball player records at least 10 in two of five statistical categories in one game: points, rebounds, assists, steals or blocks. Points with rebounds or assists are the most common combinations.Check whether your fantasy-point projection already includes milestone bonuses before adding anything yourself. An average of 10 rebounds does not mean a player reaches 10 every game.Read the full definition of Double-Double bonus because he's probably going to be dominating most of the rebound so I'm looking at ad as a really solid high upside option at eight point $4,000 power forward only Less excited about Trey.
I get it, because he's been really solid this season, but you're just not really getting those huge games from him when there's so many mouths to feed. He's pretty solid for like, seventeen and ten damn near every night, but don't think that gets it done on this big of a slate. Would sprinkle in a little bit of him, but if he's going to be double digit owned, something I'm looking to be UnderweightYou are underweight in DFS when a player, team stack or lineup combination appears in a smaller percentage of your entries than in the contest field's entries.Compare the same contest, format and roster slot. Use projected ownership before lock, then check actual ownership afterward to see whether your intended underweight stance held.Read the full definition of Underweight on.
Keyshawn George looks really solid, though, five point $5,000, not nearly priced up high enough, even with agent advance it back. He has been getting talked up a ton by Brian Keefe. They're talking about wanting to get him on ball a little bit more just the way that he can open up offense for his teammates. Coming off of a huge game last time out, twenty two, four and five and thirty seven minutes.
So if below Kula Bali were to miss those guys, the bands of Keyshawn George are going to have to play a lot more.
Then moving over to debanza the minutes are trending up as well he's been on a minute's limit for like the first two games got ticked up a little bit but they still said that he was someone on a minute's limit that night and he played so if he's off the minutes restriction is he gonna be playing minutes a night potentially and he looks good I mean they've talked about how good he is as like a one-man fast break guy when he gets the the rebound just pushing the pace I think that he's a really solid option all these guys look really good but I would rank it AD
George to banter then Trey Young and then if star were to miss you can start to get into the Deandre Hayden's of the world um I don't really know if I want to go anywhere else I don't think that there's enough on guys like Trey Johnson above Carrington maybe Trey if Kula Bali were to miss but I guess Aiden would have to make a player pull because he'd only be three point $3,000 Definitely agree with that. Yeah, I mean, these Wizards are getting ownership.
I wouldn't even be surprised if AD was like a thirty percent, thirty-five something. Regardless, I think they're solid plays. Would you be fine, because of their price tags, playing all three of George, AJ, and AD? I don't think so.
I think there are routes where they all can get there, but on an eleven-game slate, especially if you're playing in that big tournament, you need to be close to perfect, and I would say that there's a more likelihood that some other combination beats that. Makes sense. I'd probably rank him probably an ownership AJ. Again, I think AJ might be, yeah, twenty five, twenty. And then AD might be thirty five. It would be one of these two. And then Keyshawn as number three for me.
But all look like strong plays, all going to carry some ownership. And I definitely would not make a rule to have one Hawk, assuming that Jalen Johnson isn't. And I didn't say hi to everyone in chat, so let me do that first. A lot of people still saying hi to the Million Dollar Man.
There's Go Collect, Jordan, Coach Sav, Jim Parrish, Billy Phantom, Jay Pert, Scooter, what's going on, Nabers, Brock, Big Ed, Wins a Lot, Ryan Shepard, Parabye, Gang Green, Avery, I think that's everyone flip-flopping. Great to see everybody in here. Hope everyone's doing well. All we ask is the like button and the subscribe button. Helps us out a ton. Rio deserves it. He wins a million dollars a couple days ago and is back grinding for everyone. So just for that reason alone, like button.
Helps us out a ton and it costs nothing. Two hits. All right, let's go to – I mean, usually these Nets games are games I do not care about. Low total in this one. Charlotte, three net point favorites, two twelve-and-a-half total. Charlotte side, no Grant Williams. Nets side, no Igor Demin. So pretty much two healthy teams. Yeah, I mean, Julius Randle, Michael Porter Jr., I will say this Mikel Brown dude is fun to watch.
I definitely – the Celtics game, he helped us out or almost helped us out being a donkey going for that layup. But he's a hooper and he has no fear. Not sure tonight's the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate for it, but I'm not really playing – I guess you can always play Brandon Miller. Price is getting up there. The slower pace concerns me a bit, but he can get there in any matchup.
So it's Miller, Randall, MPJ, Brown – Still not really sure how much I'm going to get exposure to this game, but it's at least looking LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage if you do want to get different. Yeah, that's pretty much the only positive thing I could say about this one is that it's going to be low-owned. It's just not a lot to like here. Two hundred twelve and a half total, which is the lowest on the slate. Charlotte getting Kobe White and Conker Nipple back tonight.
You got to wonder how that eats into Brandon Miller's usage, who was just dominating the ball in every game prior to this one. And now he's priced up to eight point $4,000. So I think that's a really tough price to justify. Fine. Honestly, X-ing out Charlotte tonight.
Brooklyn it's a max one and it's probably just julius randall and mpj I do agree with him michael brown jr he looks good definitely part of their long-term future plans but yeah just not tonight I'm not really seeing a lot to like in this game too defensive or really not defensive-minded but just slower pace and not great offenses Can't argue with that at all. That's what the field's looking at in this game as well.
So let's get to the next game, which, I mean, big favorites are the Celtics taking out my Bucs at eleven and a half to twenty one and a half total. Bucs side, no injuries to talk about. Boston, no Tatum and Peyton Pritchard is questionable. So you do at least get some on the Boston side. You get PG at $7,200. Peyton Pritchard plays $6,200. It's too cheap. Are these bad? I feel like these ownerships definitely cannot be updated.
There's no way Derek White's going to be four and a half percent. Even like Shireman, $3,800 Hauser, forty two. Like there's no way no one's going to play any of them. Do you see it the same, right? Yeah, I don't think that they even have the minutes updated yet. It's looking really, really low across. Oh, yeah. Tatum looks SaberSim. Yeah, they said Tatum ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections minutes. So minutes, but no points. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Talk about Boston side.
Bucs side, Barry's is getting some OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership because he started last game and he's $3,900. So I'm curious to hear what you're going to say about that. But Boston side, I want I want you to start with with no Tatum. Yeah, so I mean, Paul George and Peyton Pritchard are the two guys that see the biggest bump in usage with Tatum out this season. And we've kind of seen that year after year with Peyton Pritchard.
So I think that we can feel pretty confident about him. Assuming he plays, he did pick up an injury and has not been listed in just yet. It was a shoulder contusion. There were some of the beats saying he wouldn't be surprised if both missed tonight.
So you gotta start to wonder like is eleven and a half a little bit too aggressive on the line that paid pressure is going to be out too I know the bucks are bad but they've played a little bit better and I think that they look a little bit better with berries in the starting lineup and ryan rollins off the bench just to kind of give them a different look but yeah pritchard and paul george are the two that I'm looking to here um I think paul george even at the the price typing up at seven point $2,000 feels pretty safe and good
Point per dollar floor ceiling type of option White is a little bit tougher to get to just because he's been, I mean, it's been like a two-year stretch where he's struggled. He's still not shooting the ball great. Still not really seeing a huge uptick in usage or permanent numbers with Tatum off the court this season. And he's not cheap either.
So you kind of have everything going against him where I expect him to probably see a little bit of a bigger ownership bump than what we're showing right now. It is a good matchup. The Bucks have been one of the worst teams at defending the pick and roll. And maybe this is a spot where you can kind of get more steals and blocks against a potentially turnover prone team with a rookie in the starting lineup and kind of two, like no true point guard on the team.
But yeah, I don't know. If Pritchard's in, I'm just going down to him at six point $2,000 with the shooting guard eligibility, then Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. He's kind of clear in a way of the worst option of those three. How much does he get bumped if Pritchard's out? I mean, it just has to handle the ball so much more.
Yeah, like if Pritchard's out, it'd be tougher. I would take back a lot of what I said just because he's going to have such a dominant role. I expect him to get like near ten minutes of touch time in that instance. But he'd also be – he'd be one of the most popular plays on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. But, yeah, he's definitely not what we're showing right now. Yeah. And as far as the back end of the rotation goes, we'll see who they start. I think they started Shireman – what was it, Sunday or Monday? I forget when he started. You just don't really know what what Missoula is going to do with these guys. I mean, even we've seen Jordan Walsh start and play like twelve minutes. And that be it. I think we've seen Hugo Gonzalez gets like twenty four randomly.
So I would probably just mix and match a little bit of each of these guys from Shireman, Hugo and Walsh. And then for sure, it'd be a max one because I don't think that two of these guys are getting there. If White or Pritchard does miss, then I'd probably loosen it up a little bit. But yeah, you're really just looking to PG and Pritchard in this game on the Celtics side. And then Milwaukee side, I think it's just buries or bust.
Three point $9,000 is really cheap for a guy that's going to be starting, probably playing close to thirty minutes now that he's in the starting lineup.
And even though he's shot, poorly I mean he left a lot of me in the bones nine points nine rebounds in his first start but it only went four for fifteen from the field the usage was very promising though twenty four and a half percent Usage RateUsage rate estimates the percentage of a team's offensive plays a player uses while on the court, based on shot attempts, free throw attempts and turnovers. I definitely like the move for the Bucs starting him. Let's get your first-round pick out there and start seeing what you got. So you said thirty minutes. Sabre has him for twenty-five right now. He played twenty-five last game. I believe that was a blowout, though. Granted, Bucs can't blow out any game, especially this one, but you'd have him projected at thirty minutes? Maybe like twenty seven and a half. Twenty eight. OK. Yeah. Still high. Don't check it while you're talking.
I'm going to actually look and see what that last game looked like. I want to say they were. It feels like every game the Bucs are blown out. But. Monday, I was. I don't even know if I was. I was playing poker, so I wasn't paying attention. Yeah, they lost by twelve. He just didn't close. They had AJ Green and Yaka Shona's closing.
They do like cat yeah they do like casper's a little bit it feels feels like it's kind of going to be random with with jenkins as well but I mean to start and be $3,900 with that said like he's he's coming with ownership this is going to be paul george burry's is going to be the probably the chalkiest pairing on the slate when it comes down to um yeah probably anyone I think you can throw cat in there he's going to be very ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. Paul George is definitely not getting past anyone. If Shireman starts, though, and just say he's like twenty five percent, would that like make you a little nervous? Not really. I still like that. Yeah, I think that when he starts, it's a little bit different because they do feel pretty comfortable with him playing two of the same rotations in the first and second half. So I feel more comfortable with Shireman than I would like a Wallace or Hugo, Hugo Gonzalez rotation. Sounds good.

Jalen Johnson, Embiid's not on the injury report right now, but if he were to miss, and then Peyton Pritchard is very big news as well. All right, next game on the slates, we got the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks. Knicks favored by twelve and a half, two thirty three and a half total in this one on the injury report for Chicago. Claxton's questionable for the Knicks. No Josh Hart.
You can see up there the Knicks have hiked for one hundred twenty three points, which is the most on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. And I talked about Carl Anthony Towns. So, yeah, they're showing thirty percent, maybe in the five dollar. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a little higher. And I think Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. And he does get a rebounding boost with no Josh Hart.
With that being said, I think Ananobi and Jalen Brunson also strong plays. Caleb Wilson price stays the same. And I think he is the most appealing on the Chicago side. But by no means do you need a bull. Do you see it the same way? Yeah, I wouldn't say that you need one. But I would say that there is some CorrelationCorrelation describes how two players' fantasy scores move together. Positively correlated players tend to have big games at the same time, usually because one player's success directly adds points for the other. When you build a tournament lineup, ask which of your players need the same thing to happen. The more of them that do, the higher your lineup's ceiling.Read the full definition of Correlation upside in going to Caleb Wilson. It's pretty much just him. If you are playing heavily into the Cat and Brunson's of the world in this game.
Because they, I mean, if this team's keeping games close, it's because of Caleb Wilson. He's much more mature for a rookie than we've probably ever seen. And he's definitely willing to take on a really big workload and a big responsibility. So that'd be the guy that I'd be potentially looking to correlate, like if Caleb Wilson, then one of Cat, OG, or Brunson, something like that. But overall, I do expect the Knicks to roll here, even with Josh Hart out.
They have a really, really good implied Team TotalIn NBA DFS, a team total estimates how many real basketball points a team will score, usually from the game total and point spread. It does not include fantasy production from rebounds, assists or defensive statistics.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total tonight, like you said. And two clear spots to attack with no Josh Hart. Cat put up forty six DK points in just twenty eight minutes against them last time out. And then Brunson had thirty eight real points in that one. Most he's had this season. Just the MAIN risk is a blowout, cutting down both these guys. And definitely do have concerns there because Chicago looks like one of the worst teams in the league.
Yeah, so you're really just hoping for them to keep it close enough. Maybe they get there. I expect Cat to be kind of insulated from that. You don't need a close game for him to get there just because he's so good point per minute. Brunson, you kind of do because he can really take over late games when you need him to really turn it on in the clutch.
But yeah, then we have a little bit of value opening up here in Landry Shamit and Myles McBride with no Josh Hart here. I want to see where they're projected to start. I would imagine it's Landry. Yeah, Landry Shamit projected a start and see around thirty minutes, so that feels pretty good. He's been really solid this season. The Bulls aren't really giving up a ton of catch and shoot stuff, so not the best stylistic matchup for him. How does he compare to Burries?
How does he compare to Shireman if you were to start similar pricing? Yeah, that's what I was going to say. There's kind of a lot of value tonight, especially in the shooting guard small forward range. If Pritchard is out, I would put Shireman ahead of everybody, but Yeah, I probably have Burry's ahead of Shamit as well, just because the usage role for Burry's look pretty good. And if that carries over.
I'm going to throw two more out there since the similar pricing and we'll get there. Malik Thomas, Mario Hazonia. Probably taking those guys. I'd probably take Hazonia ahead of Shamit. Maybe, maybe not Malik. Okay. We'll get there later. But, yeah, I mean, that just shows there's so much value on the slate in the $3,000 range. And there really isn't like a ton of spends on the slate. I mean, there's Jokic, there's there's Shea, but like only two players above $10,000.
And then if Jalen Johnson misses, it goes all the way down to nine point $3,000. So you can really spend. That's why Towns PG like it. It's really easy to have an all star build or at least feel like you have an all star build today. I think you're you might need four hundred to win the five dollar today or something crazy. Yeah. Yeah, it feels like a slate that's probably loading up more so in the mid-upper tier, mixing in a couple of these ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. Because I don't think that you need to get up to Jokic, which obviously we'll get there. I don't think you need to get up to Shea at all. I think it's almost going to be not ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. I mean, this Knicks game right here, like, yeah, Kat's too cheap. Brunson's too cheap. OG's too cheap. Paul George's too cheap.
So, yeah, keep it rolling. Yeah, not really much else to add. I do think Cat is the best play in this game by a pretty wide margin. Field agrees with that one. Seen high OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. I actually think he won me a fifteen hundred dollar ticket that night. Went off. So I'm fine with him as well. The Bulls are giving up a ton of points to point guards this season.
OG is kind of the one where I'm like iffy on him if he does get higher on. What does SaberSim have him at tonight? Twenty twenty two percent. OK. It might end up being higher. It might end up being lower. I'm not sure. I don't know if he's a must-have at his price. Especially at the position, there's a lot of pretty solid power forward options tonight. I don't think you need anything on the Bulls, though.
If you want to play somebody, it's Caleb Wilson. I definitely am a big OG guy, but it just seems like he's coasting. Not even coasting, just Brunson and Cat are dominating so much of the usage. OG's just filling that role, and with the blow at risk, you almost feel like you need this game to stay close, so he gets his upper-thirties minutes, and even then, he had thirty-eight minutes last game, but eighteen percent usage, fifteen percent usage a game before.
I like him, but eleven games late when you feel like you need the nuts... Not my favorite play there. So, yeah, Brunson Town or Cat, you're good playing both of them, right? Or if you do, you're for sure playing Caleb Wilson. Probably would do that. I don't know if I'm kind of a bigger proponent of not playing both in the same lineup.
But if you did play both of them the other night these teams played, you'd be feeling pretty good about what you got from them. I just feel like they're still both like $1,000 to cheat maybe and in the nut spot, but it is a lemon game. So we keep talking about it, but you really, really need five X isn't just going to cut it. You probably need six X or more for both of them. All right, keep it rolling.

Sorting three players in double digits and after that, nobody else. And one of them is Mo Bamba at $3,400. Is he really going to be eighteen percent if he plays? I don't know about that one. I'd be surprised, but it does kind of seem like he was getting ownership earlier in the day just because he's always been a really good permanent producer and he's had a decently solid role behind Jackson Hayes.
Yeah, normally if we saw these teams facing off last year, I think this would be kind of the premier matchup of the night, but things have shifted a little bit for both these squads. I'm also hoping, I don't know if you can hear the gardeners behind me, but I'm trying to, okay, thank God. Yeah, they're like right outside my garage door right now, but hopefully it's not too loud.
Yeah normally we'd be firing away at players in this game just things have kind of changed for both squads they're a little bit better defensively jazz uh you know still giving up some big lines but it's mainly against pick and roll heavy teams and transition scoring teams New Orleans hasn't been that great of a room defense there's kind of two spots to attack but overall jazz playing much much slower than last year not giving up as many three-pointers I will say, though, that Usage RateUsage rate estimates the percentage of a team's offensive plays a player uses while on the court, based on shot attempts, free throw attempts and turnovers. The issue is there's not really that type of player here on the Pelicans. It's pretty spread out when you have all these guys healthy. Maybe with Murphy out, we see a little bit more from like DeJounte Murray or Zion. You got to be able to hear that. Yeah, I can hear that a little bit, but it's not as loud as you would think. All right. Hopefully he's gone soon, but.
Yeah it's just more so a stay away I'd say max two on the pelican side I do like the spot for dejante but the price is up there and still splitting handling with zion and jeremiah fears as for the jazz it's peterson up to kiante I think you're in play not really looking to get to mobamba even at the uh positive value score I think now is probably the time to jump on darren peterson starting to see a little bit more of an increased ball handling role um And that's probably, I think we're starting to get a little bit up there in Keontae.
I like his over in points tonight at twenty and a half because I do think it's a pretty good scoring matchup for him. But as far as like the full on role goes for him, splitting it a lot with Aaron Peterson is kind of tough for me to get to at this price. So if Trey Murphy's out, I know you mentioned DeJounte's name and there's Zion. They still feel, I guess they'd then be appropriately priced it would feel. Do you agree with that statement?
If Murphy's out. Yeah. Yeah. I don't, they're not still going to scream like great value. I mean, we just talked about Brunson and cat. Eighty-one, eighty-three right there. Paul George. It'd make it more intriguing for me since I don't think their ownership really gets there. And I mean, in the five dollar terminal, you looked at Nika's lineup, less than one percent Aaron Gordon, four and a half percent Brunson. If you're playing that, you need low on plays.
And I still think they'd be relatively low on. But I would I would max one. But you would you'd be fine with them. If Trey Murphy was out, you still wouldn't love them. Right.
Would be pretty excited about dejonte just looking at our usage tool we'd have him right there at twenty six percent usage just starting to get to the higher usage point that I would uh want to attack this jazz scene with and he'd project as a positive value five point three five x I'd be looking to him because he does have Slate breaking upside still. It's harder for Zion just because his role has been so bad this year.
They're trying to turn him into a three-point shooter for whatever reason. He's in the low-twenties usage most nights. Just a tough look for him, but DeJounte would be a guy I'm looking at. They're also talking about trading him, so show him off a little bit. Makes sense. I was about to say that too, Ryan, but yeah, he's got the gardeners, he's got the workers out there with that million extra. All right, let's keep it rolling. Next game on the slate, Indiana Pacers and the Memphis Grizzlies.
Memphis is six-and-a-half-point favorites, two-twenty-eight-and-a-half total in this one. On the Indy side, here we go. No Tyrese, of course. No T.J. McConnell. Zubach, Kelly Oubre, Obi Toppin, all questionable on the Memphis side. Quinton Post is questionable. Well, a pull after Locke and Kelly Oubre. And then a six-man rotation. What a crazy day that was on Monday.
But we still do have plenty of Q tags on the Pacers side that could change some things around as far as Memphis. Cam Bouger, Ty Jerome, both of their prices are up there, though, going to keep their OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Ty Jerome's just the man. We said it week one or day one. Was it $5,700 or sixty? Whatever price it was, we said that's not going to last long. And it sure did.
And eighty five is a little tough to get to. But hey, this should be a pretty high paced game. Competitive game. I prefer Boozer to Jerome. But yeah, I think you can go either one of them. And then on Indy, it depends on these cue tags. But it could be opportunity if two of the three guys miss. Two of Oubre, Toppin, Zubac. I think we can go back to some of these Pacers. Yeah, definitely agree.
I think that as it stands right now, Siakam and Nembhard are at least viable, but with the opportunity to get much, much better, assuming that some of these guys were to miss. I mean, it's crazy. I don't know if Pacers, like, do they deserve to be... Like they should be punished a little bit, I think, for what they did on Monday with only dressing six guys. And after Locke ruling out Kelly Oubre, it's just crazy that they are allowed to do that.
But maybe these guys are actually injured. They initially said knee contusion and then switch it to a calf contusion. So you got to choose one of the two different areas of your leg. Yeah, that's not a good luck. Why even change it? Yeah, I don't get that. But yeah, I mean, as it stands right now, Siakam, Nembhard viable, but would get much, much better. Nembhard in particular, I think is an interesting ceiling play because it is a decent spot here.
And in the last couple of games that Halliburton has missed, he's had nearly nine minutes of touchdown, ten and a half potential assists. And then if Oubre sits, spreading those minutes out between Jairus Walker and Aaron Neesmith, kind of a wide range of outcome for these guys when everybody – or when at least Siakam and Nembhard are healthy. But you can look to them. The Grizzlies have been getting – or they did get beat in that game against the Pelicans against three-point shooters.
So those guys technically are making a – it's a decent matchup for them. Memphis, I agree with what you said, though. I do prefer Boozer over Jerome at these prices. It's just a wider range of outcome for Jerome. Definitely has major scoring upside, major DFS upside, like we saw second-forty-point game of the season. But Boozer just got the rebounding upside. But, again, it's a pretty solid power forward slate tonight, and I do prefer Cat and AD slightly to Boozer. I do think ownership's going to reflect that as well. Maybe three X, two and a half to three times, I think those guys will be to Bougier. So, again, what you're doing with your lineups, if you're already eating Paul George, Burry's, all that, I think Bougier would make more sense to get different. If you're already getting different in other spots, then I think playing either AD or Cat.
And someone did mention – I'm saying AD because I think I'm more confident the game's going to be competitive, but it's definitely close. If you told me Cat would be out there for the final stretch last four minutes because the game's close, then I'd go Cat. Any take on that for you?
I think I'd lean Cat, but it's not by a ton, and basically for the reasons that you mentioned, but I do think that Yeah, like you said, if we're getting full minutes from Cat, he's got a sixty, seventy point upside. AD does have that, but you do add in Debanza, whereas you're taking away Hart from Cat. Yep, no, definitely makes sense. If that game's close, Cat's the answer there. All right, we'll keep rolling. Next game on the slate, Cleveland Cavaliers and the OKC Thunder.
Thunder three and a half point in favor. It's two twenty six and a half total for Cleveland. No Peyton Watson again. No Jalen Tyson. As far as OKC, no chat. Jalen Williams, obviously the. I.N. Jalen, the other one, is down bad, unfortunately, man. We didn't even talk about that injury. It's been like two weeks or something, but very, very sad to see that. Definitely changes stuff for DFS, though. Shea coming off a great game last game. I believe it was on Monday.
Showing low OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. If you do want to play Shea, if you don't want to play Jokic, can most definitely do that. He's not projecting to get much ownership. Then you are giving up the ADs, the towns of the world. You can't play in both, but that's where a lot of the ownership is going to go. More of those $1,000, $7,000 and hammer the mid tier is a Mitchell looks pretty good, even though he's $6,600.
He's just a hooper. We could see it last year during the playoff run. How much they trusted them. Yeah, two guys, Azonia, Malik Thomas, I mentioned them. When we were comparing Burry, Shireman, and all of those guys, they're going to be pretty popular for value or allow things to work. So, break down this game, Cavs and the Thunder.
Yeah, like you said, we just saw these teams play on Monday, kind of the rare East Coast, West Coast baseball series that we never really see. But, yeah, Shea was just dominating in that one, with only one, forty-three points on thirty-nine minutes, thirty-five field goal attempts.
I would say defensively, it's a tough spot for any team against OKC, but Cleveland in particular, where you have Usage RateUsage rate estimates the percentage of a team's offensive plays a player uses while on the court, based on shot attempts, free throw attempts and turnovers. It does not measure assists or time spent holding the ball.Check who shared the floor in any usage sample. He was much more being forced into that passing role. That's pretty sticky with OKC.
We've seen that a lot. They're able to take away these number one options. So I'm not really into Donovan here. I don't think that – I was trying to find a line for him on DraftKings of what his assist would be. I wanted to see if it was in, like, the four-and-a-half, five-and-a-half range would be a pretty decent bet, but wasn't able to find that. I can hear you talking in the background, so if you got it. Yeah, five-plus, minus-one-fifty-one, six-plus, plus-one-twenty-seven.
Okay, yeah. I mean, that seems like a decent bet to take.
Yeah that being said I think that a lot of the fantasy appeal from the Cleveland side does come from the ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. I mean, you could see a three-point volume increase here. So I think that he does make sense from a matchup standpoint. But they might go to more Hazonia.
I don't know if the Hazonia minutes would come at the expense of Jared Allen, who I will say – I mean, he was plus-eleven in his twenty-eight minutes last game and still got benched in the fourth quarter or just – had somebody else playing over him but Hazonia is a guy that is a big body defender that can match up pretty well with Shay so they probably want to go there so I do agree on the ownership on him I mean we've seen him years ago he's always been a pretty solid NBA player now he's getting a no shot so I think that he's totally fine no rules I'm sort of setting there I think it's probably a Max one of Mitchell and Harden, Max one, Mobley, Allen.
Maybe if you want to toss in Hazonia in there as a max two would make some sense. But I don't think that you're really getting to a ton of Cleveland tonight. OKC side. You're fine going Malik and Hazonia, right? Yeah, I think so. I didn't get to look at the rotation. I'll check you in a moment to talk after I talk about OKC just to see what it was, if they were overlapping. But I think that they were just because one's a guard and one's a forward.
So they should be fine together. But yeah, that's where OKC goes. I mean, hard to not like Shea here, assuming that he's going to have that big of a usage role again. But I'd imagine that Cleveland helps off a lot more here than they did in that game. And that kind of brings me on to AJ a little bit more.
I do think that one kind of benefits from the other other doing poorly or just being double team and I don't like pairing them together because it seems like if shay is getting doubled and he's more into like the passing rule like we saw from donovan mitchell than aj thrusted more into the scoring rule definitely has a ton of upside so I'm gonna max one of those two guys Don't love the prices on everybody else.
Maybe some more value opens up if Jalen Williams were to miss. But six point $3,000 for Harden signed as a guy that doesn't score at all. It's just basically rebounding and then maybe get some more secondary playmaking. Not too enticing for me. Yeah, I think that's all I got. Yeah, I was looking for Zonia and Malik Thomas. They definitely overlapped some. Second quarter they did, and then the fourth quarter they did as well a little bit.
So I don't see why we'd have to make a rule to avoid it. That's all I got, though. Anything that you saw before we go to the next team? No, I'm trying to keep my mic mute as long as I can. I'm staring my gardener right in the face out my window right now. Sounds good. Yeah, we'll keep it rolling. Appreciate everyone hanging out.

I mean, everyone's appropriately priced, so I just really am not sure where there's any appeal personally. So, yeah, I'm out on this game. I think a lot better real-life game than DFS. Yeah, I think in general I would agree, although I do think the Minnesota side has at least some appeal in taking away another guy that was getting usage like Terrence Shannon Jr. And then already having Ant out. I think that Lomelo is kind of interesting, even in a terrible matchup.
The minutes just continue to look bad for him, but I think that there's – little bit more deep diving that we can do because some of that was due to blow out a lot of it's been due to um foul trouble and iota sumo told him like you just gotta stop falling because we need you on the court had a really good game against Milwaukee who I know is a much softer matchup but you just see what the upside can look like for a guy like lamello when he is getting full run and he is shooting the ball well uh didn't even add any assists in that game just three assists but thirty four points on six for thirteen from three So I have interest in Lomelio for sure,
Even despite the matchup being really, really tough. And I also think that Ayo is another guy that should be in Player PoolA player pool is the set of players you consider using in your DFS lineups for a slate, the games or events included in a contest. On the Houston side I like singoon and I like kd here a little bit uh sangoon has shown that he's just it doesn't really matter if there's a good defense on the other side he's just playing some of the best basketball of his career and you can see the type of impact that adding guys like fred van fleet and marcus smart has made for him uh he's second in the NBA front court touches so really solid usage role for him coming off of nearly um sixty point DK performance go bear I get it tougher matchup but Minnesota's room defense has not been as good as it was in years past and I would say that for KD you you can be
A little bit concerned about the usage for him he's taken less than ten shots in back-to-back games but they didn't really need him to take on a higher usage rule I would say in these types of competitive game environments is where you really start to see the usage rise up in a little bit or in a bigger way so those two in particular I think are are worth a shout You donkey.
I mean, yeah, you have interest in a game where no one's showing above ten percent. So it's this seems like a spot if you want to trust the man real. And I have no reason why you would not want to to get different and chalk your lineup since there is a lot of good chalk. This is a spot you can get to. Sigun, yeah, I guess. $8,900. The dude's just a complete monster.
Even with his twenty one percent usage last game, he still put up almost sixty DraftKings points. Can just do it in so many ways. And nice to have power forward and center eligibility as well. All right. Next game on the slate. Two games left. Nine p.m. Eastern Portland Trailblazers and the Phoenix Suns. Jordan Goodwin is questionable and that is the only worthwhile news there. I should have mentioned that, but I assume people knew that. So. Any Scoot, any Damian Lillard, Drew Holiday, like, man, the backcourt is so loaded. I love the Blazers just as a real-life team. The backcourt, Drew's a dog. Scoot can fill it up on his good days.
Dane can shoot. Avdi is a monster. They got the big down low. This team can play. Yeah, what do you think of this one? Yeah, I was kind of hoping that we went to this one last because this is my, like, hands down my favorite late-game target on the slate. And no one's getting there. Yeah, I mean, I think that this game should be higher round. Even on, like, the Sun side, I think that there's a little bit of appeal there.
But the Blazers look really, really solid here. Portland is top seven. Or, sorry, they've been, like, a top ten both offense and defense. But I honestly think it's a little bit more smoke and mirrors. I don't think that their defense is – You have two really solid on-ball defenders in Kamara and Drew, and then a massive body down low with a pretty good block radius. But then outside of that, Denny's fine. I don't think Dame or Scoot are very good.
But the appeal for this one, for Portland, for me, is Phoenix has been the worst rebounding team in the league this season. Portland is top seven in offensive rebounding. I mean, it's just a tremendous setup for Donovan Klingin, who, I mean, is that what it says, about a sixteen and a half from Sabre?
I mean, I'd be so surprised if there's not more fantasy personalities out there that aren't going to be talking about tonight, because it's just a dream matchup for him at $6,200. Do you think he might be higher on than that? I don't know if other people in the industry are going to be talking about him, which they should. I think he could be because it's a really cheap price tag for him.
Obviously, a small sample in this season, but one point five five Fantasy Points Per Minute (FPPM)Fantasy points per minute (FPPM) measures a player's fantasy production per minute played. But really, the MAIN appeal is the rebounding rate. Twenty four percent total, but twenty one percent offensive rebounding rate. Just basically one out of every five balls that are going up and being missed. He's grabbing. So keeping plays alive is going to be really, really good for the game environment as a whole on the Blazers side of things.
I think that he's an excellent center option tonight, probably my favorite on the entire slate, assuming that ownership stays in like the mid to upper teens. But even if it gets to like low twenties, I'm going to be well, well over the field there. Outside of that, I think Denny's price is getting up there to a point where you're asking for a lot, and he hasn't really had that great of a role.
He was a little bit worried about how things would work with Ja coming into the season, and you've kind of seen it come to fruition. Usage has been okay, but not great. Hasn't really had that blow-up game. Probably going to see a lot of Dylan Brooks tonight, so it's not the greatest individual matchup, but the Suns as a whole are just kind of a train wreck, so he could get there. Don't think I'm going too overboard with either Denny or Dame tonight.
The prices look right. If anything, I would say a little bit overpriced for those two. Klingon looks great, though. I think Drew looks pretty good at five point $7,000. Should be close to like thirty minutes off the bench. Fill in the stat sheet. So fine with him. Not super into Kamara or Scoot or anybody else. I think it's those two in particular. And then the Sun side.
I think all of Booker, Bridges, Green, and Brooks should be kept in Player PoolA player pool is the set of players you consider using in your DFS lineups for a slate, the games or events included in a contest. The term can also mean everyone available to select in that contest.Keep a replacement beside each uncertain player, noting the salary and position you need. I do think this game has shootout potential, so correlating some of these guys with opposing Blazers I think makes at least a little bit of sense. It's just really hard to predict the usage for these guys. Booker can be the guy that leads it, but then sometimes it's Dylan Brooks or sometimes Jalen Green.
Dylan Brooks probably has the worst matchup as well against Kamara or Drew Holiday. So if you want to go to Miles Bridges, he's put up some pretty big games lately. We know that Jalen Green and Brooks can both do it at times. So I just think that there's more of a likelihood of these guys hitting in a big way than they're being owned, and I want to be a part of that group that has them. You have a lead on Goodwin?
Left the game on Monday, right before half with a calf injury? I don't, but I can try to find something right now. The only reason is you already kind of like this game a little bit there. I mean, Jordan Goodwin has somewhat of a role. You take away his minutes. I'm bumping Gillespie, Jalen Green a little bit. I mean, Booker is fine. I prefer Jalen Green. The savings with Green and Gillespie personally, $8,300 up there. So but yeah, there's no good win.
And you you use our tool over here and you bump the projection for Phoenix. You will have to do that because this game is the last game of the night or in the last window. And we're going to get Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. There's a couple injury tags that we're waiting on that can only make Trey Murphy, other players a lot more popular, and then people just avoid the last two games of the night. So any thoughts?
I wasn't able to find anything, so I'm not too sure. Got you. All right, we'll keep it rolling. We got the last game of the night again. Appreciate everyone hanging out in for a nice eleven game DraftKings slate. Tonight's Toronto and Denver cap it off. Nuggets four and a half point favorites. Two thirty one and a half total in this one. Jakob Pertl is questionable for Toronto. No injury news.
On the Denver side, looking at OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership in this game, it is all coming pretty much from the Toronto side. Scotty Barnes, eight, six. RJ Barrett, seven, one. Quickly, six, nine. All getting a little bit. Jacoby Walter as well. Cam Johnson, the only one on the Nuggets, getting some at four points. $7,000. I'm curious to hear your take on Jamal, on Jokic.
Yeah, I mean, that eight seven price tag is definitely going to keep Jamal low on, but their favorites in a pretty high scoring game are pretty high total. And there's plenty of value on the slate to make it work if you want to get ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Read the full definition of Contrarian. So I think Jamal and or Jamal or Jokic is interesting. You are you are paying for it, though. What do you think? Yeah, I would agree there. Nothing about the matchup really stands out.
Toronto's done a really good job on defense this year. I think they're in the top six defensively, obviously, with Scottie Barnes and CMB, two really, really plus defenders. And then also, Jacoperto's questionable, so I think that makes their defense much better because I've talked a lot about how he's not that great down low. Yeah, Denver, I mean, man, it's... It's been bad for them this year. Their offenses look bad. Defense looks really bad. They're bottom three in rim defense this season.
I mean, it's hard not to like the Raptors side. But for me, it's going to be pretty clearly Scottie Barnes at eight point six game. And he's starting to play really, really good basketball, averaging fifty two and a half points over his last four, despite just shooting ten percent from three, you know, adding production across scoring rebounds, assists, dogs, small forward, power forward. There's just nothing really negative to say about him and what should be a really good spot for him.
We get it to Barrett and quickly and like the low seven upper $6,000 range, you can start to question their upside.
They have solid floors I wouldn't say either as a priority if I did have to choose one I would probably go barrett because we've seen him put up the upper forties games this season hasn't really been there for quickly as much and there are some pretty solid point guard options that he'd have to compete with so a little bit higher on barrett but neither are really that much of priority I don't really see it on Walter on this big of a slate.
If we're going to get all that value at shooting guard small forward below him, I'd rather just go there if it opens up more Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up. But I get it. He's a good player, just not really my type of play. And then I guess CMB would have to come into play a little bit with power forward center eligibility, assuming that Perto were to miss.
Any – Like you're probably going to have to bump CMB like in the beginning to get any of them again, because there's only two games at nine Eastern. This game is already going to get some love, but you still like a CMB play, especially you're going to have to force it. Rockets, Minnesota, not really getting love. So the last hour, these you're going to almost have to prioritize man, man, manually bump individual pieces.
If you want that, is that something you think you'll be doing?
Before this late yeah I think so for the very least just to give me some more uh Late SwapLate swap lets you change unlocked players in an entered DFS lineup after the contest starts. If you do get the CMB right, other people will not be able to play it. Whereas a hundred dollars Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. That's how I see it. Barrett, Scottie, Max one. Um, no, I think it's an X two Barnes quickly buried. Okay. Yeah.
Uh, but yeah, to kind of build off what you said about starting with a pretty loud, I mean, looking at what we have, uh, on the Usage RateUsage rate estimates the percentage of a team's offensive plays a player uses while on the court, based on shot attempts, free throw attempts and turnovers. It does not measure assists or time spent holding the ball.Check who shared the floor in any usage sample. Numbers collected against reserves or with several starters missing may not describe the role you are projecting tonight.Read the full definition of Usage Rate tool, you see CMB above a six point or six times value. Scotty Barnes as well. Like these guys would be must have plays if, if heard or to miss. And not enough people are going to do that, especially in a tournament like that. So, yeah, I think the risk-reward's worth it.
I mean, Scottie's already a good play, and CMB's just a point-per-minute monster where, like, you're not drawn dead with them at .å››ty-seven hundred. You don't love it, but you surely don't hate it. Yeah, and then if you haven't met forward, you can just swap over to Cam Johnson. There you go. So... Yeah, I like that call. Good shout there.
As for the Denver side, I think something that's interesting was reading into some of the coaching press conferences from Adelman, who also I think it's probably time for him to go. Donkey. Yeah, I don't really understand. There must have been something going on behind the scenes with Mike Malone. But, I mean, he was a good coach, I thought. I'm surprised. I was hit or miss. But, yeah, I mean, you couldn't argue with his results. Yeah.
I think there's something to be said, too, about coaches that are able to have players buy in personality-wise. Like Steve Kerr, the reason he's been so successful is because he's good with the player relationship. I think Mike Malone was pretty good at that as well. Yeah, makes sense. But yeah, Adelman was saying in some of these press conferences that they just need to take more threes, and that includes stretching Jokic further away from the basket.
If he can pull the center away from the rim and actually be a threat around a three-point line, it opens up everything for them. So I think that you could see that early on here, which... Which kind of had me digress a little bit. I wasn't too interested in, like, the Gordons, Cam Johnson, or Brawns of the world.
But now, I mean, I'm still not really in on Aaron Gordon, but, like, Cam Johnson and Brawn, I think if they're going to be seeing an uptick in three-point volume, you do have to have interest there just because it's so easy to pile up points, fantasy points, if you are knocking down your shots. And we saw it a couple games ago from Christian Brown. Brown, sorry.
For camp johnson he returned from the injury and then was basically back to full so expect him to be playing a ton of minutes and they just don't have any depth right now demar de rosa what a terrible signing this trayvon brazil guy doesn't look very good alpha dial is injured and not taking any threes so they're just gonna really lean into these MAIN starters a ton uh the adamant even said with like the jamal murray stuff his workload has been so big but they just don't have any depth behind him that they have to play him in these close games and This game does, or Denver is favored here, so you would probably expect them to be close enough where we're getting full minutes from these guys.
I'm a little bit worried about the Jokic stuff just because the efficiency hasn't been there. We obviously have a longstanding history with him being the best or at least like a top two, top three player in the league. He'll probably end up turning it around. But yeah, just as it looks off right now. So I don't really think that we need to pay twelve point $3,000 when he's only paid off that salary once this season. Fair enough.
Yeah, I mean, I just I think they're going to play a bunch of minutes like the thirty four point eight thirty five for Jamal. I think that's like three minutes under projected. They have no bench like you're talking about. So and Jokic isn't going to be point six, eight percent, but he might be four percent or five percent. I like it a little more than you. Cam Johnson, though, I think is a great play at $4,700.
And for sure, the CMB, if you are able to play him, you more than likely will have him at forward or a Flex and UTILAn NBA UTIL slot accepts any eligible basketball position, including center. Which, again, it's fine that way, but would prefer him to be in a forward util spot. And then he would be a great play if Jakob's out. If he's in, then you can go right to Cam Johnson. Yeah, that's all. Eleven games on the slate.
