Cowboys vs Giants – SNF Sunday Sweatdown | NFL Week 1 | DFS Picks, Plays & Process

I had a bunch of Milly tickets today, so I was more focused on DFS. Didn't really get into Survivor Streets this year. Dropping this in the chat. Who's got survivor entries? Who'd you go with? Did you go with the Chark Donkeys in the Chargers, right? Man, thirty percent on week one, Ham. That'd be nice to see a little Arizona coming out. But what do you think? A little Circa win? Yeah, I got two entries in the Circa. I got lucky. I split the difference.

I took the Chark Donkey Jaguars. Easy dub. And then Aaron Rodgers. Get Aaron Rodgers and get him out. Man, they're bad, Nades. Rodgers is bad. Steelers are bad. But I squeaked out a victory today against a third-team quarterback. And so, yeah, I'm moving on. You know who's not bad? T.J. Watt. T.J. Watt's not bad, right? That's what the Steelers do have going for them. They don't have much. They do have T.J. Watt. Jalen Warren is okay. Yeah.

But, yeah, I mean, it should be a fun season of football here. What's your kind of – I got the – what is this? The hundred-dollar Milly Maker I think I got up on the screen here. Yeah, hundred dollar Milly. Let's see. Yeah, this is the hundred dollar Milly up on the screen. So looks like Peter Gibbons having a day again. Surprise, surprise. I think he's shipping the hundred dollar and the four, four, four, four. Pretty tough. Pretty tough Sunday for Peter Gibbons.

Right. I mean, who who does it better than than Mr. Gibbons himself? Right. Yeah. Hey, I'll give some credit to you and Matt. You and Matt this morning were both over B. John. He was fifteen percent. It's higher than I thought he was. We had him at fifteen percent, but thirty thirty one, almost thirty two points. Y'all nailed that. Christian Watson, goodness gracious. He's already at thirty three at recess. Devon Bailey made two spectacular catches yesterday.

Man, I bet you when you see that seven and a half, you're just like, I'm dead. I mean, even though it's tied in, so you can get away with seven and a half. Yeah, but the thing is here, let's talk about this build a little bit here. We knew going into the slate Gibbs was a smash play, obviously, right? But what weren't people doing, right? People weren't playing B. John Robinson because if they were in that range, right, they were playing Jameer Gibbs, right?

So pairing those two together makes a ton of sense. How do you do that? You don't go to the popular side of the Detroit stack because you've got Gibbs, right? You don't play Jared Goff. You don't play Amon Ra, who obviously also had a good game. You play the other side, right? How does Gibbs get his ceiling and not get pulled in that game? Well, Tyler Shock, right, goes out there and just fisticuffs the ball around the field. And, man, you want to talk about a bad defense.

This is Lions defense. I mean, the Lions games are going to be an environment to attack. I mean, I can't wait for the Lions-Bears matchups twice a year. That probably, I mean, I'd be shocked to see DK not hang a fifty five, sixty point total on those games because neither of those teams play defense. I mean, you got Tyler Shuck thrown for four hundred yards on thirty six. What do you have? Thirty six completion, something like that.

Thirty six of fifty five or something like that. I don't know. He had at least, at least two fifty in the second half, if not three hundred. Yeah, no, he had four plus. He had four hundred plus passing yards. I know he had three just in the in the fourth quarter alone or second half alone. Right. He had. He had a line that was miserable. Lions in a dome is going to be a thing to talk about this year. Yeah. Right here.

Langley in the chat, King Henry doesn't want to slow down. So that's the thing that I want to talk about. Right. I mean, I mean, coming into the slate, like why we're not more, why weren't more people on King Henry? It's not being result oriented. It's just, I mean, this is one of the lowest price points we've seen a King Henry and you have to assume, right. Coming into the year, Lamar was healthier than he was in, in years past.

And, and, I mean, if you weren't playing Lamar, it just seemed so obvious to kind of plug in King Henry in there. But do you have any kind of takes on Henry and his price and his ownershipOwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. I mean, I know running back was pretty cut and dry, right, with Jameer Gibbs looking like a smash and then kind of working around that, right? People want to play Jameer Gibbs. They want to play Ja'Marr Chase.

So you plug in those guys, then you're kind of left with guys like – Hampton, that kind of lower $6,000 range, if you will, at running back, which didn't really kind of fall in that $7,000 range where up where Henry was at what I think Henry was what, $6,800, $6,900. So something like that. What's your what's your kind of take on on that? I mean, all the all the good running backs were in play today outside of CMC, right?

You had every big name running back and he was just tough to get to. I mean, I said on the earlier show, I was not a fan. Three new offensive lineman center was gone. That Colts interior front. And I was, I was dead wrong on that. He grounded and pounded them. You know, not that it means anything, but he historically has played the Colts very well in his time with Tennessee continue that trend today in that dome. And they just, they just beat those boys up.

I was shocked. Zay Flowers might've had five hundred yards. If he didn't pull a hamstring in the second quarter, they were willing to deal. And so, I mean, I think that's why he got, you know, kind of lost in the shuffle was just, just getting in the mix with all those other big boys that were projecting for so much better. A-Chain was seven grand. I would imagine that A-Chain is way higher. I don't know if you can find an A-Chain team.

I bet you he's like twenty plus. But they had some big boys, in my opinion, that had better matchups. And that's why he's probably not his own. Twenty one. Yeah. Yeah. Double. Yeah. A-Chain, twenty one percent to the crib. So this was my best team that I had rolling here in the hundred dollar milli. Tyler Shuck, a little Shuck Olave Vele, Jawan Johnson over stack here. And Ham, I want to talk about a little over stack here.

I did a bunch of back testing on using our partner over here. I do want to pull this up here real quick. I used our partner kind of coming into the season, right, doing a bunch of backtesting based on contest data and everything. And we have partnered with DFS OS here, which is you can pretty much pull up any contest, any historical data. You can look at player profiles here.

So I have a bunch of player profiles, looked at a bunch of a bunch of kind of the the I guess you call them right. Kind of the best players, if you will. Right. In terms of DFS kind of got a really good grip of, what they kind of did, slated in and slated out last year over the last couple of seasons. This data dates back to, I think, on here.

So I used the help of some AI agents and did some of that to kind of pull a bunch of research here. And one thing that I found, Ham, is especially in these contests that are larger field, like the a hundred dollar Milly Maker here, like I'll pull it out here up on the screen that you see, right? $27,000 seven hundred seventy seven entrants in this. A lot of people do like a two one or a three one stack, right?

They very rarely add on that fifth, that six piece. If you remember back when Hoop won the Mills a couple of years ago, right? He had a extreme over stack, right? So what I've kind of found from diving in a DFS OS and looking at some of the SaberSim Rewind and using some of the tools that we have over here, available to us at Ship It Nation. I've seen the kind of the three-two, the overstacks actually work, especially on a popular game, right?

We knew going into the slate, everybody wanted to focus on New Orleans, Detroit, mainly the Detroit side.

So people were going in there, punt, punt, plugging in gibbs they're plugging in Juwan Johnson or valet one of those two kind of running as a mini stack so I knew that going in and I said okay I'm gonna be underweight on that game but where I'm gonna play that game I'm gonna go in at it and I'm gonna over stack it that's kind of why you see how I landed on a team like this here that you see obviously didn't get up to the top um but I mean going into the slate ham if I told you a hundred ninety points so somewhere in that realm you'd feel pretty damn good about that right um going into

The slate there so I I did want to hit on that, just some kind of historical findings that I found based on some of my research process that I put in coming into the NFL year. And I really kind of tapped into using Claude and using AI to really kind of scrub contest data and really improve my process personally.

So any thoughts on kind of when you know a game environment like the Lions, like the New Orleans game, today on week one in a dome highest total on the slate you knew people wanted to go there for good reasons right how do you kind of navigate that going into the slate kind of as an evergreen um setup if you will right that people could in the chat that are listening could kind of replicate going going in here Yeah, I think you said it best, right, especially when you've got a popular game like this Detroit and New Orleans game.

You've got to find ways to get difference, and one of those is to over stack it. They said it on the show this morning. You talked about it earlier. You've got to flip the bill, right, taking Shuck instead of Goff, but still pairing a lot of those same guys, getting a valet, having four dudes in there. Like if Jawan Johnson catches that touchdown instead of Noah Phan, I mean, you're off to the races, right?

Um as well so I think this is a I think this is a great build love it too two power running backs like two really good running backs that you know you know came in you know fifteen percent on which was probably what half of what what gibbs came in so I love over stacking I really love over stacking when it comes to uh when it comes to like smaller field and just hoping that one game hits having to get less things right than you do like a bunch of things like you would in a normal Milly Yeah, so like I do want to talk about this a little bit and then we'll jump into kind of some Sunday night football unless anyone in the chat here wants wants

Me to pull up a contest here up on the screen that I can definitely do as gentee. Right. Our guy Josh in the chat says gentee times to look pretty good. I do want to talk about that a little bit, too. Right. Everyone kind of scared about his injury coming into the slate. But so in this team, right, I had. Much of my portfolio I had, just like everyone else, did. Sixty-plus percent Jameer Gibbs just because, I mean, no Davis Montgomery there.

It just looked like a clear cut. He had eleven touches in the first quarter, right? But in a team where I wasn't playing Jameer Gibbs, right? I wanted to, okay, how does that work? How can I get to a team that makes sense if Jameer Gibbs goes out there and doesn't just absolutely nuke the slate, right? He had a great game, but because I was going to Tyler shuck, right? I was on the other side of golf.

I wasn't playing Jameer Gibbs in this lineup. So how do I, how do I kind of pull some of those Jameer Gibbs points away from him? Well, go to the other highest upside guy on that team, that same team in Amon Ross, same problem. But not only that, Also add in Sam LaPorta, right? Soaking up that red zone. Hopefully, Jameer Gibbs doesn't bust off a bunch of kind of long runs, which obviously is definitely in his range of outcomes.

He's a very explosive running back for a reason there, but I knew I wasn't playing Jameer Gibbs. So how did I double down on that? I didn't just play Amon Ross, Sam Brown, and LaPorta as a part of Tyler Shuck when most Tyler Shuck kind of setups were going to be anchored with Jameer Gibbs on the other side. I played Bijan Robinson saying, okay, Bijan can at least get close, if not match, or outproduce Jameer Gibbs in that same range.

And then I had another high-priced running back that can also get similar to what Jameer Gibbs ceiling can be in a Jonathan Taylor, right? So I did want to talk about that a little bit there. Spencer in the chat says, what do you think FanDuel will do? Personally, I don't play on FanDuel. That's Ham's kind of expertise. I hate that site. I've kind of sold them off as Ladd McConkie scores an eight-yard touchdown here. So big Ladd off and raiding.

Ladd McDonkey chalk, as Hoop likes to call him. But what's your take on FanDuel? What's the business move here from FanDuel side of things? Hey, it was a good marketing ploy by somebody over at FanDuel. They yanked the plug. Has everybody talking about it's going to cost them about twenty, thirty million bucks. But hey, there's no such thing as bad advertising, I guess, Nades. But I don't see how they don't just refund.

You know, they're going to pay out the winners for sure. And then they're going to have to refund the big boys. I just I had Lab and Donkey Chonk in my in my in my my team. So, this is the latest update as of four hours ago from Yahoo Sports. You got Glazer. Giants think Malik Nabors' knee will play week one, but will be a game time decision five hours ago. So... It's kind of up in the air right now. Talk about how that kind of affects tonight's landscape and then kind of talk about a little bit what your kind of envision is going into Sunday night football here for for the captain position in general.

And then I'll kind of give my takes as well. Yeah, I mean, the good news is that Jaxson Dart knows how to play without Malik Nabers. Malik Nabers, you certainly want him in there if he's healthy, but he missed a lot of the season last year. Jaxson Dart can do it with his legs, and he's got some, I guess, capable receivers. I think Darnell Mooney is fine. They've got Isaiah Likely, which is fine. Skattebo can catch it out of the backfield.

Jackson Dark can obviously use his legs very well. I can't wait to watch this game. John Harbaugh's debut in the Big Apple. But, you know, Malik Nabers is going to be big because then I think you kind of bump up Odell Beckham, even though Odell is not slated to play that much. I think you kept him on the team. You know the type of plays he can make. And Nades, this was the game. This was the game.

The Giants, Cowboys, Sunday night football in the Meadowlands when he made the catch. That made him famous. So we got to see what Nabers is doing. Then obviously if he's out, then I think Malachi field steps up a little bit. They cut Darius Slayton. So if he's out, I mean, just look at this wide receiver core that you got there. It's super thin without him. So that's going to be some big news here in about fifteen minutes or so. You're on mute.

Pretty hurtful there, but, hey, I regress. Let's jump back to the Sunday night football here. Obviously, Wanda Robinson, right, gone from the Giants. That's a big loss for them, but they did get Darnell Mooney. Doesn't play the same role as Wondell, right? Obviously, Wondell's the slot guy. However, the Giants did bring over Isaiah Likely. We know the Giants like to use their tight ends. So I think Theo Johnson and Likely are both pretty solid plays here.

Ownership's kind of held in check here for them, at least. What's your take on the loss of Wandale here and how it affects this game, especially if Malik Nabers is out? If Malik Nabers is in, I think he's a really good play because I think it's very similar to the Gentry play, right? Everyone is scared. Gentry, right? You go on X, quote and hoop here from the earlier show on Sunday.

After Gentee kind of rolled that ankle in that game there, you would have thought Gentee would have jumped off a bridge and kind of been done for the year. He comes back right with the injury tag, and he's got two touchdowns and counting, having a pretty damn good day. I think Malik Nabers could be the separator here, especially in the captain position. We know what this guy can do. His talent is insane. Obviously coming off the gruesome injury last year.

But you got to assume if he's in there, Jackson darts, got to love having his number one guy back, especially with Wando on the shelf here. So talk about how do you, how do you expect this Giants passing game to go?

If Malik Nabers is in, and if he's out with the big addition of, the kind of deep guy in Darnell Mooney, and then Isaiah Likely as well coming in to, I'm assuming, be more of that twelve, thirteen personnel kind of guy and operate more so in the slot as kind of a wide receiver, if you will, and Theo Johnson kind of holding the tight end role here to kind of, you can't replace Wandale and his experience in this offense from last year.

And there we go. Tucker Kraft off to the road. Oh, it wasn't. That wasn't Tucker. Man, number eighteen for the Packers. My eyes are brutal, Smith. But yeah, talk about this Giants, this Giants passing game, because I think it's a big, big talking point on tonight's slate. Obviously, we're going to get the Malik Nabers here news here in a couple of minutes. But what's your take one way or the other here? Yeah, so out is Brian Dable.

He's down here in Tennessee getting beat up. Poor Titans. Oh man, my Titans are bad. Brian Dable out. Matt Nagy, former Bears coach, former Chiefs offensive coordinator. So we should see a lot of those same schemes that he did there as well. Malik Nabers, I think he's a great spot. They don't really have, I mean, the names I said outside of Odell, no one has ever heard of any of those people. Darnell Mooney is more of a, field stretcher. So he could take the defense deep.

So I really want Nabers if he's in, but I really like Jaxson Dart. Like I know we're talking passing, but I like Jaxson Dart with his legs. He's good around the goal line. Um, and he just makes plays for that New York ball club. So I love me some, uh, I'll say Jaxson Dart, not so much these other receivers, uh, outside of Malik Nabers. If he were to miss, I would have some interest in Malachi Fields, rookie first game, obviously that he's ever played.

So it should be interesting for him, but big news, big, big news for their pass catchers is going to be Malik Nabers. Yeah, I definitely agree. I do want to say I think the fieldThe FieldThe field is everyone else entered in a contest, the group of lineups you are competing against.Before you build, picture the typical lineup in your contest. Then decide on purpose where you'll match it and where you'll step away from it.Full explanation ↗ is going to lean into the Dallas side just because, number one, I think there's a lot less unknowns.

Number two, I think a lot of especially the best ball guys, a lot of the offseason talk, a lot of people are pretty high on this Dallas offense for a good reason coming into the year. Obviously, you got Dak, you got Javonte back in there, Pickens and Lamb. And then obviously Ferguson as well. Right. So pretty full strength. And then you got obviously Brandon Aubrey, one of the best kickers in the league as well here. They're three point favorites as well.

So that typically leads to more for two heavy centric builds in favor of the Cowboys here. How are you going to use that into kind of your analysis? And then we'll jump into the captain talk in particular. I'm just kind of going broad slate overview here as we kind of sweat out the closing aspects here of the main slate contest here. First off, let me touch off on Sean.

From the moment the Ravens got their first yard, Sean Nates was all over me about how terrible the pick the Colts were and how, yeah. So, yes, I've eaten my big old fat quadruple L on the Ravens. I was wrong in that one for sure. But this game is going to be a really good game. What was your exact question?

Yeah, so my exact question was that I believe the field is – so like four-two in favor of the Cowboys I think is going to be twice to two and a half times more popular than what the Cowboys – or what the four-two in favor of the Giants is. They have basically their full shell of their team from last year with Javonte, Lamb, Pickens, Ferguson, Dak as kind of the main focus. And then, obviously, you've got always the Flournoy, the Turpin of the world, Domingos. Coming over from Carolina, right? Those guys really don't move the needle much. But on the Giants side, right, you have a lot more unknowns, right? Obviously, Wondell's gone. Malachi Fields comes in. He's a rookie. There's a lot of unknowns there.

We don't know what the offense is going to look like now with Najee being involved and what Cam Scadabo's role is going to be coming back off the injury. Same thing with Malik Nabers. Isaiah Likely coming back into this offense, what that's going to do for the overall offense. So there's a lot more unknowns on the Giants. This is the perfect scenario where I like to lean more into that.

My builds personally are going to be a lot more Giants heavy tonight just because I think it's a back and forth game. I think this game doesn't have a ton of defense. I know the Cowboys had beefed up their defense quite a bit. And over the second half of the year, their defense got a lot better. They drafted some defensive guys as well. So I do think their defense is going to be better.

But I still do think Jaxson Dart is versatile enough from the quarterback position to keep this game enough competitive. And I think the Giants actually have a chance to win this game as well. So what's your take in terms of Giants heavy versus Cowboys heavy in terms of the builds tonight? Yeah, I think you're definitely going to get more Cowboys, Cowboys leans tonight for sure. Cause you got Dak jacked up. Dak, you got Javonte. You had a bunch of touchdowns last year.

You got the two wide outs and CD and George Pickens. You got Jake Ferguson, who in my opinion is better than any, any Giants tight end. So at every, skill position or every position on, on offense, in my opinion, the Cowboys have a leg up. So naturally the, uh, the ownership is going to go there as well.

Obviously this is a salary based game, so you can't just jam in all the best Cowboys, but definitely going to be more, you know, four twos, five ones on the Cowboys side, way to get different of that is to do it on the Giants. Um, I know we haven't really gotten into plays, but to me, I think the Cowboys win this game. I think they win, you know, ten plus tonight. I mean, they got CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.

I don't know, Nate, what, two top ten receivers on the same offense and a capable, you know, signal caller that can get them the ball. I like the Cowboys tonight, but so does a lot of other people as well. And, you know, you're going to have to find ways to get different just like you do in a main slate. Yeah, no, for sure. That takes us right into the captain position here.

I do want to call out, captain is really focused around, number one, CeeDee Lamb, Dak Prescott, Javonte Williams. So the top three high stone captains soaking up for about, I don't know, forty-five percent or so. Then you got Jaxson Dart about fourteen, fifteen percent. Pickens at about twelve percent or so. And then it drops down to Skadaboo, Nabers, Ferguson, Likely, and so on.

So, Four of the top five highest owned captains are definitely on the Dallas side for a good reason, right? Skill position, as you just alluded to here. So how are you going to navigate the captain position here? Get a little different. Who are you honing in on? Who are you going to go overweight on? Who are you fading? Any kind of strong takes from the captain position here? I like Jaxson Dart a lot. I like both of the quarterbacks, but I like Jaxson Dart.

He's got, he can do it with his legs. I talked about, he needs to be, you know, safer, you know, with his, with his concussions that he's had in the past, but I really like Jaxson Dart, especially if he's coming in like the fourth or fifth highest own captain arm and legs. I like him. Dak Prescott would be number two for me. Yeah.

The reason I like Dak as opposed to like CeeDee or George is that he can just spread it to so many different weapons. He can dink and dunk to Javonte. He can go deep to CeeDee or George. Then he can go across the middle to Jake Ferguson or Brevin Spanford who they just resigned as well. So those would kind of be my top two, like the quarterbacks.

And then if I was going to get a little bit different, I would go Scadabo just to be completely different, hoping he catches some. Get some goal line work and like bust one. My personal opinion is I think, I think they'll, I think they'll kind of mix it up. You alluded to early Scadabo come back from an injury as well. They signed Najee Harris and Nades.

I don't know, man, but playing your first game off an Achilles and Meadowlands, that's, that's, that's typically not a good recipe. So I don't, I don't know if I really like Najee, but I would ride Cam Scadabo myself and try to get different that way. Automatic mute here. I don't know what's going on with this damn computer. It's all right. We won't charge you. Coco's asking for captains. That's what we're talking about right now, Coco.

We got our stone here up on the screen. You see the captain optimals, their projections. Obviously, this is going to change with inactives here. But historically – I've seen kind of a lean to wide receivers in terms of the captain position here, especially on Sunday night football with some of the research that I've done leading into the season here. So I'm personally tonight going to lean more into wide receivers. I think a really big separator here tonight is Malik Nabers, if he's active.

Obviously, I don't think any actives came out yet as Ladd McConkie. Yeah, Ladd McConkie just died. Absolutely rocked there. So rest in peace to our guy Shalhoub. Hopefully he can hold on here as we pull it here up on the screen. He's still holding first in the Mills by about seven-tenths of a point over Peter Gibbons there. And he's sweating lad versus Christian Watson there. So hopefully – Yeah, yeah, Mayer too. Mayer's down here at .-.

But nonetheless, going back to the showdown here game, I do really like Malik Nabers if he's active. If he's not active, probably don't like the Giants as much, but I do think that boosts Malachi Fields. Like you mentioned, I think Isaiah Likely is a pretty interesting option as well just because I think Likely is going to kind of slot into – a modified makeshift Wanda Robinson role.

We know how much Jaxson Dart liked Malik neighbor or not Malik Nabers, Wanda Robinson before obviously Jackson dark got hurt and that, but I do like the wide receivers quite a bit. On the Cowboys side, Lamb looks like a great play for sure. He's showing positive leverageLeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. Pickens looks like a great option as well. I do want to kind of separate Pickens and Lamb. I did a bunch of kind of studies. I think they both sabotage.

I mean, they could definitely get there in kind of the flex together, but I probably want to separate them personally. If I'm playing one of them at captain, I'm hoping that they get the two touchdowns. And that at the price points, there's other guys, especially, I mean, when you're talking $10,800 and the flex nine eight and the flex compared to the Giants wide receivers are all cheaper than that, including my league Nabers.

Personally, myself, I don't really want to play if one of those guys Pickens or Lamb is in the captain position. Really don't want to play the other one in the flex. So I do have that kind of as a coded rule into my optimizer when I'm building teams and have had pretty, pretty good success in that regard there. So.

For me, I'm going to lean heavier into these wide receivers, and then kind of my favorite captain behind that would be Jaxson Dart just because I think Jaxson Dart's going to have to do so much himself on the ground here. Personally, I'm going to always pair him with at least one wide receiver or tight end from the same team here.

So whether that's Malik Nabers, whether that's Malachi Fields, Mooney, Likely, or Theo Johnson, those are kind of the – Main guys I'm looking at here, I do have interest in that. So those are kind of my main four captains, I would say, in terms of dart. Pickens, Lamb, and then Nabers if he goes. Nabers being my number one if he is active here. And then I'd probably actually lean Cam Skadabo over Javonte Williams just with the ownership discount because Skadabo is involved in the passing game.

We know Najee is not a passing game guy. He's probably going to be like the third down guy here, I would assume. I think Najee is fat and sucks at football. Who is that? Hawkinson. Hawkinson, Hawkins with the touchdown, a little of twenty two to seventeen here with the Vikings on. But go ahead. And what's kind of your final captain pool here before we jump over and kind of talk flex? Yeah, it's quarterbacks for me up top for sure. And then call me crazy, Nades.

I actually like Pickens over Lamb. I think Pickens was phenomenal last year. He wants that money. I think he's good. I have him over Lamb. Lamb would be four for me. And then Scadabo, if I was getting a little bit different. We had a question in the chat about a Demercado Malik Davis. Went out and practiced the other day.

So Amari DiMercato, who I'll never forget for fumbling the ball at the one yard line for the Cardinals last year against the Titans to go up twenty one. It cost me my survivor pick. Not that I have any hard feelings or think about it. But do you think I'll get any get any touches tonight? Like what do you like? I did want to hit on that. So he's going to be involved. They do like this guy quite a bit over in Dallas.

He's kind of a Swiss army knife, kind of like a makeshift. What's his face from the forty Niners? I'm drawing a blank now on his name, but he's kind of a makeshift Debo. No, no, no, no. The running – the kind of fullback. Yeah, yeah. Tyler Juszczyk from the Four Niners. I kind of – Loupki's kind of a similar type of guy there. So he's going to get his – I mean, on average last year, he averaged right around twenty percent snaps, twenty to thirty percent.

He's going to get those kind of consistent twenty to thirty percent snaps in this backfield. Javonte is going to get the lion's share for sure. He's not an every down back. He's going to he kind of kind of caps out around seventy five, eighty percent of snaps. So there is some snaps to go around there. Now, does that fall to Di Mercato's plate? I'm not sure. I don't have a crystal ball to tell you that, obviously, especially in a new system here.

I don't think he's the worst play at a thousand bucks. I'd probably rather prefer Hunter Lukey personally myself for two hundred dollars cheaper just because I've seen Lukey be involved in this offense before, especially in checkdowns. And Lukey is actually a pretty solid football player. He can run guys over. As well. So that's kind of my lean on the two, but I don't really have a strong weight, strong take either way. Tracy in regard to those two, Javonte is definitely the lead guy there.

And I do think Javonte is a really good play tonight here. I'm a little worried about his ownership in the captain position. He's shown negative leverage for us right now on the stone here, as you see up on the screen.

I do prefer Skadaboo if I'm playing one of the two up top in terms of the captain, just because I think, especially if Nabers is out, the Giants are going to have to rely so heavily on Jaxson Dart and Skadaboo to even have a chance in this game. And if that's the case, I do think a two, four build with one of those guys up tops makes a lot of sense, something like that.

So Hopefully we answered your question there pretty good, but let's jump over to the flex here. Ham, what's your, what's your take in terms of quarterback Dak and Jaxson Dart? I know it seems like both of us are leaning more Jaxson Dart, but Dak, he's not a good real life quarterback in my opinion, but he's a really good fantasy quarterback. And that's all we care about for DFS is making money. So any take on those two, who are you going to be higher on?

I think Jackson Darts a better play up top, personally, myself. Then Dak Prescott, just because there's a lot more unknowns in terms of what he's going to do. There's a lot more rushing upside for him as well. Ownership's obviously going to lean that way. But right now, Jackson Darts, obviously, he's projected lower owned as it stands today or at this point between Dak Prescott. So how do you see the quarterback position here? Yeah, I like both quarterbacks. I like them both up top.

Can only play one, obviously. So I like them both in the flex as well. Like if you're going to put a Lamb or Pickens up top, then I think you would need Dak as well. I think that's the way that they get there. To me, it's hard to get a Giant in the captains if Nabers is out. Nabers would be the only one that I would put in there.

If you don't put Nabers up top, it's hard for me to put a Giant up top that's not named Jaxson Dart. But if you're playing the Cowboys up top, then I certainly would have – certainly fine with having Jaxson Dart in the – not in the captain spot, but playing him. Yeah. No, I like that. I do prefer Jaxson Dart to Dak. I do think both quarterbacks are really good plays here for sure. To the point, Nabers is out. He's in street clothes.

I just saw Philly in the chat just posted that. Oh, yeah. They should be out here in a minute. Yeah, that does change things big time. So let's circle back to the Malik Nabers news here. Obviously, Malachi Fields is going to probably revert to wide receiver one here. There's a lot of unknowns, obviously, being a rookie here. How much does he know in the system? But you have to assume. He's going to be pretty heavily involved.

I think this just, number one, improves Jackson Dark's floor and upside just from a rushing aspect along with Cam Scadaboo with the dump-offs and the rush here in general. I still personally think the Giants can keep this game close. I'm not a buyer and a believer in the Cowboys offense just being kind of stonewall, especially on the road here. But what's your kind of take on what that does for the slate here tonight?

Okay, well now I'm seeing – Yeah, I think the Cowboys defense has gotten – Now I'm seeing Josh, our guy Josh. So Philly – our guy Philly made some bad – He got fooled by maybe an AI post out there. I didn't see any kind of solidification that Malik Nabers was out. Everything I saw pointed to him being in. So let's just leave that at it. I mean, it should be out.

Let's see if anyone's reporting on it because it's coming out like right this second. Yeah, I'm just – so I'm searching right now. The latest news, if I pull up Nabers right now, DFSOS. We've got a block point. Block point down to the two. Cardinals on the two, baby. Let's go. Cardinals on the two. All right. Yeah, I haven't seen anything on Nabers. Nabers is in. Nabers is in. Okay. Okay. So scratch everything we just said. I love Nabers that he's in.

I think this is very similar, like I said earlier, to the Ashton Gentry, Gentry. Play week one that we see right now. He had a kind of a similar. Obviously, it was an ankle with gentee. It's a knee with Malik Nabers here coming in. I do think he's a really strong play, especially in the captain position at ownershipOwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Arguably one of the highest ceilings on the slate, if not the highest ceiling when he's fully healthy. I have to assume he's fully healthy if the Giants are rolling him out there. Don't expect, obviously, with a franchise guy like Malik Nabers that they would throw him out there if he's not ready to go. So that takes us into the running back position here. Javonte, Di Mercato, Lukey, Skadaboo, Najee Harris, Singletary. How do you kind of rank those three? What do you see?

What's your kind of take between those three? And Ham's internet. Hopefully he shipped the Mills so he can get better internet. I'll start with the running back position here. Those guys get involved as well, especially if Malik Nabers is – any sort of banged up. I do think Skattebo personally is how I lean at the running back position. You save six hundred bucks. I think you save a little bit of ownership as well. So personally, I have Skattebo over Javonte Williams. I think they're both great plays.

I'm not messing with Najee Harris at $2,000. I think Najee Harris sucks. He does rank pretty well in our ranking stuff here. He's coming in around ten to fifteen percent, somewhere in that that realm. I do probably prefer him to D Mercado if choosing between the two, but I think I'd rather just play Hunter loop key if going to a third running back here, but how do you see the running back position?

Not a good recipe, so I'm out on Najee. Love Cam Skattebo, although I think he's going to mix and match – you know, with Devin Singletary. And then, so I like Scadaboo the best.

And then Javonte Williams will be my second favorite. I'm not playing any other, not playing any other, any other Cowboys. So it's Scadaboo one, Javonte, too, for me, and I'm cutting it off at those two. Let's go, Golden. Come on, baby. Screw you, Hoop. Hope you're listening out there. Yeah, no, we see the running back position the same. I do have Skadaboo, my favorite overall. Then Javonte and then Lukey as the salary savings at eight hundred.

I do think he makes some sense, especially in those higher priced captain builds when you're kind of go stars and scrubs. I do think he makes a lot of sense. Wide receiver position. We got CD lamb. Looks like the best play overall. I'm really high in Malik Nabers Malachi Fields. I know you like him quite a bit. He's got a pretty nice price point. I'm seeing pretty low ownership on him with the unknowns, with the rookie there.

I'm not a best ball nerd, best ball donkey, so I don't know what his kind of best ball share looked like coming into the year. Was it up there? Is he a best ball darling, which could steam his ownershipOwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. You obviously have Darnell Mooney there, which is kind of the home run guy, always has a ton of upside. We've seen the Cowboys give up some explosive plays for sure. Those are kind of the main guys, those five. But Turpin always involved.

Flournoy has shown flying. Flournoy at $3,800 seems pretty expensive to me myself. I'd probably rather prefer Turpin because you also obviously get the return game to with Turpin that he could always break one and they Seem to design two to three, five plays, something like that, with Turpin involved in the offense here. How do you see the wide receiver position?

Are you going to go out there and play your guy OBJ coming back, right, making a return for the Giants here, a little dusty-ass OBJ? Yeah, for me, it's Pickens up top. It's the two Cowboys up top, just like for everybody else. And you're going to have to get different, right? So it's Pickens one for me. Lamb would be number two for me, even above Nabers. I'd go Nabers three. And then it gets interesting. You mentioned Ryan Flournoy.

Ryan Flournoy had a really good year last year, slotted in at that number one or number three receiver, excuse me. He's kind of the forgotten man. You've got to kind of give a lot of attention to Pickens and to Lamb. So You think $3,800 is a lot. I think it is a lot, but he can pay it off in a quick way, especially when I have Dak captains teams. You're not going to see Dak run it a whole whole ton.

He will run the goal line a little bit, but not much running out of Dak at this point in his career. So give me some Ryan Flournoy like him a lot at $3,800 in the flex, especially with Dak captained up top. And then Nades, I'm going to be honest with you. Like, it's tough to – I mean, I'm not playing Berrios. Probably not playing Odell. Interested to get your take on Odell. And then Mooney, I don't hate Mooney.

And the reason I don't hate Mooney is, like I said a minute ago, he's a field stretcher, right? If he could get behind that defense, Christian Watson-esque. He can beat that defense, and then he's off to the races. But that's like if I'm betting on a shootout at that point. But I don't love Malachi Fields, especially if I've never seen it before in an NFL game. It would be Mooney for me over Malachi Fields. What about you? Yeah. So I'll touch on OBJ.

I do think he's playable. Number one, the reason why is Giants last year ran a ton of eleven personnel, sixty to sixty one percent, somewhere in that realm. So OBJ is going to be on the field. I don't I don't care how dusty he is. He still has talent. I mean, he's $2,200. On a team that has Darnell Mooney, Malachi Fields. There's someone known there. I don't think Fields is going to go and play a hundred percent of snaps.

Darnell Mooney not a hundred percent snap guy. So I do think OBJ has a place on this slate at $2,200 because you look at the other value on the slate. I mean, you got Turpin, Mingo. I mean, Brevin's band forward. I mean, Theo Johnson, I think, is a better value play than than OBJ. But I expect the Giants to be trailing here.

So I expect them to be pass heavy and pass in the game, which obviously Scadaboo is involved in that offense in that past game as well. So I do think OBJ is playable. I don't. Obviously, I'm not going to go in there and anchor my teams around him. I do think he's in play. I rank the wide receivers. Nabers is my favorite. Then Lamb just for the PPR floor.

I probably prefer – Lamb, I probably prefer Lamb more in the flex and Pickens up top because I think Pickens can scale more than Lamb when you look at it. So all three of those guys, great plays. And then Fields, Mooney, OBJ, and Florin are kind of the ancillary pieces there. Don't really have a super strong lean. I do like your take on Flournoy. Nobody's really going to click that price because $3,800 does feel pretty expensive.

But he has shown to be a pretty heavy piece of this offense overall. They like him, especially when Lamb was injured last year and went down. Pickens was number one. Flournoy stepped up pretty big. So I do like that take. Tight end position, Ferguson. Real quick, we have a question in the chat. Mooney or Flournoy? It's Flournoy for me. I don't know about you. I also prefer Flournoy just because – Mooney is more of a home run play guy, I think.

Flournoy is more of the six for for sixty and a touchdown, something like that. Whereas Mooney is probably more of like the three to four for one hundred and one, maybe, which is better suited in the captain position for sure. Then kind of the flex. I'm not playing probably either of them in the captain position. But if I had to prefer, I do think Flournoy is the better play overall. Tight end position, Likely Theo Johnson, Ferguson.

Are the three main guys not messing with really any of these ancillary guys, these kind of tight end threes and fours for these teams? But how do you see the tight end position here? Obviously, Ferguson looks like the best play, but Likely new new scheme here. Dart still a young quarterback. Likely was really good on the Ravens. Obviously, he's better than Mark Andrews, in my opinion, went out, got paid by the Giants here.

I think he kind of has some of the Wandale role, in my opinion. Darnell Mooney is not a slot guy. I don't know what Fields is going to be. I don't know too much about Fields. I'm not a big college guy personally myself. So talk on who you think is going to take kind of the majority of the slot role. Obviously, the Giants run a ton of three personnel or eleven personnel, a ton of three wide receiver sets. Who's going to take that slot role?

Is it going to be a mix between Likely OBJ and fields? How do you kind of see that? And then these, these other tight ends as well. Yeah. I mean, I actually think they'll go more to well personnel with Theo Johnson, Isaiah Likely while the game's close, Theo Johnson, you know, Decent tight end, not great. Isaiah Likely, I would say more of a pass-catching tight end than an in-line blocker. So, yeah, I like that call.

Maybe split out Isaiah, like into a slot, let him be that big-body target across the middle. I don't – I just don't love either one. I don't love either one of them. I don't necessarily love Jake Ferguson either, though. So – I would have Jake ranked number one from the tight ends, but Nades, if I can avoid playing a tight end, $6,400 to me on Isaiah Likely is a ton personally. So I don't love the tight ends.

I'm a look to go elsewhere if I can. Yeah, I do think Theo Johnson at his price is a really good value play. He's probably the best value play overall on the slate. Not projected to be super high on. So at ten to twelve percent, some or whatever it comes in at, I think he's a really good play, a really strong play. Probably prefer him at price to Likely.

And I'm probably looking at Likely more as kind of a one of you one versus him or fields, because I do think he's more of a wide receiver is what I'm treating him at here tonight. So I do like that. Jake Ferguson, I still think Ferguson a really good play. We seen it last year when Lamb and when Pickens were healthy. Ferguson still commanded a pretty good share of the target shares in his offense, roughly fifteen percent. Had a pretty good ADOT as well.

So he has upside at the price. I just don't know. If they're going to need him a ton, how competitive this game is, it sounds like you think the game is less competitive than I do. I do think the Giants can kind of hold their own here at home. And as Dak Prescott, Dak makes stupid mistakes, especially on the road here. So I do think Ferguson has a role, but I probably actually prefer my favorite tight ends probably.

I mean, Likely and Ferguson are kind of going to be similar in terms of ownership. I prefer Likely just because I think he is going to have more of a passing game and more of a focus in this offense with the unknown of fields. Mooney, I don't know really.

Mooney is kind of going to be more of the downfield threat, obviously, with the Giants offense here. So we don't know what that's going to kind of – resort to, I'm thinking I'm just kind of banking on Likely being more of the slot guy, like I said. So I think he has definitely upside there. Prefer him just because I think the Giants are going to have to throw the ball a lot more than what the Cowboys are. So I do prefer him.

Then Theo Johnson is a really good value play. And then Ferguson is kind of how I see it, just because Ferguson competing with Javonte, CeeDee Lamb, Pickens, who are all really good plays. And he just has more to compete with than what Isaiah Likely does, in my opinion. Kickers and defenses here. DraftKings has kind of reverted their pricing in the kickers. You actually have to think about it here. Brandon Aubrey, obviously great play. He's going to get owned as such. I do think he's a really good option.

He's in the same kind of price point as Malachi Fields. He's a thousand dollars cheaper than Isaiah Likely. How do you see it here? Mayer just called a pass. Brandon Aubrey a cheat code. We've talked about it, I feel like, Nate, for three years now. But at $5,400, that's still too cheap for Brandon Aubrey. I mean, he can kick fifty-yarders like they're layups. So give me some Brandon Aubrey. I don't know much about this Dominic Zaveda guy, so I probably won't have much of him.

I'll do like Aubrey. I like these defenses, though. If you wanted to build for a – for like a low scoring affair. I don't think that's the worst thing. I mean, the Giants defense, even though they lost Sexy Dexy, Dexter Lawrence went to the Cincinnati Bengals. They still got Brian Burns. They still got Abdul Carter. They got some pretty good dudes on that defense that can get after the quarterback.

And then on the flip side, this Cowboys defense, They spent their first-round draft pick on arguably the best defender in the draft. They got Quentin Williams back. They got a revamped defense. So you're not going to see these shootouts. I said it this morning about the Bengals. Now, the Bengals gave up. I still think they gave up twenty-seven points, including a pick six. They gave up roughly twenty points. But these defenses are better.

So gone are the days that you're going to see shootouts, in my opinion. So if you wanted to build where it was a lower-scoring game, you know, seventeen, fourteen, fourteen, ten, something like that. I wouldn't mind getting a piece of either one of these defenses and then obviously some Brandon Aubrey as well. Yeah, no, I like that.

I do think this this Giants kicker, I don't know too much about him, but our guy Sean Sully in the chat saying he's nailing seventy yards in practice. Oh, wow. Nabers tag just flipped on DK to in. Yeah, Nabers is in. So no worries on Nabers there. But I do like both kickers here. I prefer the kickers to the defenses here. Personally, myself, Cowboys defense at $4,400. I think it's a little expensive. Dart can definitely make mistakes. I'd actually probably rely.

And because most builds are going to be giant or Cowboys heavy, I'm seeing like forty percent of the builds lean for two in favor of the Cowboys and then even some five ones, too. In lineups where it makes sense, I think the Giants are my preferred between the two defenses. Don't really have a strong way either way.

Aubrey's a great play, obviously. I do think Zavida. So how he ranks kind of special teams, I do have Aubrey number one. Zavida number two, just because I think Aubrey has more potential to have – have more points and we, we know, um, Cowboys are more than happy to, to settle for field goals there and, uh, Aubrey can boot it from, uh, from the ten yard line. It feels like, um, uh, on the opposing side. So do you like that?

So, I'd just rather prefer Singletary at fourteen hundred to Tracy. Oh, gosh. The Commanders are down a point, too. We got some ball games. We just need to fade this. We just need the scoring to end. Yeah, we need the scoring to end here. Hopefully, Shalhoub can hold on.

But, yeah, Ladd getting hurt is pretty hurtful overall. Uh-oh, Jordan Mason to the house. No, not so fast. Yeah. I do think Singletary is better play personally, myself and then Tracy for sixteen hundred dollars cheaper. Just because there is a lot of studs to play for in the slate. You got Dak, you got Javonte, you got Pickens and Lamb. Obviously, I like Nabers quite a bit. Skattebo, Dart. Those are high priced guys.

So when there's a bunch of unknowns in terms of the backfield, I do think Skattebo obviously is going to lead the lion's share here. And yeah, I think Singletary could be more of the kind of Samaje Perine type work, third down, check down type running back when they're giving Skadaboo a rest. So I do prefer that. Hard to really see what it's going to look like with Tracy there. Yeah, I know he's not on the stone, Aaron, there. We're talking through that right now.
