Head back to the hollywood casino taking place at kansas speedway this will be a a quicker quick hit video uh than we normally do for two reasons uh one for the third uh race out of the last four races and might even be three weeks in a row I need to go back and look uh practice and qualifying were cancelled and the starting lineup were set uh or rather it was set via the rule book so once again we're kind of going into this weekend blind now lucky for us we have power rankings and they have raced many times on the um mile and a

Half package on the mile and a half tire package etc etc so While we are going in blind into today's race, we do have a lot of data from just this past year we can look at to make educated decisions. And my second reason why this will be a quick hit video is I'm under the weather.

I'm very much rocking a killer sore throat at the moment and I'm very much on an energy drink and lots of over-the-counter cold medicine to get through this video.

And I'm going to gripe here for a second. Kansas was affected by weather all day today. They had a heck of a time getting the truck race in. Like, it was a struggle of a day at the racetrack. Absolutely. However... This is the third race out of the last four that have had qualifying in practice, practice and qualifying rained out, canceled out, weathered out, whatever, out, right? Like...

You got to let these guys practice something like even tomorrow before the race, like give them a thirty minute session. I don't know. Like the fact that we're going into these playoff races blind and it's now been like the third race out of the last four, like. Don't love it. Don't love it. But yeah, like I said, no practice, practice and qualifying were rained out. We have a two hundred and sixty seven laps on tap for us on Sunday afternoon, which should equal out to.

Uh one hundred and eighty six point nine dominator points up for grabs we will want to target those points I'm recommending at least two dominators or rather at least two potential dominators per lineup and uh with the way the lineups uh or with the way the starting lineup has shaken out I don't think that's uh that's gonna be too difficult to do uh so let's go ahead and take a quick run through the starting lineup and like I said earlier Folks, since we have no practice and no qualifying to go off of, we have a lot of the cream of the crop up top and a lot of the not so cream of the crop down towards the bottom, which is to be expected, right?

For this week, since we don't have practice and qualifying to build the lineups off to help build our player pool. I highly highly highly highly recommend using these power rankings the power rankings are there to help you they're not just there for show recent form is how they've been running over the last ten races regardless of track type is someone on the downward spiral Trending downward. There you go. You get the easily tell there is someone trending upward. There you go.

You can easily tell that's what that recent form is. Track rank is how they've been running at this track since at this point, the $2,000 and twenty three season. I did remove the twenty twenty two data from this column just because that was the very first year of next gen. And we have we have grown past that as far as data is concerned. So I have twenty twenty two kicked out and it's from twenty twenty three on forward.

That's how they run at specifically in this track. And a track type is normally what tires they ran or are running at this week's race. Just how whatever else they ran that exact tire combination at this year. And for this week, the track type rank has like six, seven, eight races in it. It's a decent amount of data. So while I would love to have practice to look at, at least we have the power rankings to help us.

So let's go ahead and take a look at the starting lineup here. Starting on the pole is Joey Logano. Now the metric is like thirty percent owner's points and seventy percent last week's finish or vice versa that. But it is a combination of the two. Joey Logano is on the pole. He won last week. He's been definitely trending upward. I don't really love him here today considering who's all behind him. Tyler Larson starting second.

I love me Larson, assuming he starts on the outside or even on the inside. It doesn't really matter. I love me some Larson on Sunday. Larson and Redick and Bell, I don't like to classify them as the dirt trackers, but they're the three who don't mind ripping that upper top wall right against the wall, like, you know, centimeters apart from it, right? So expect Larsen to be ripping that wall and to be battling up and around the front for the entire day on Sunday.

Next up, Christopher Bell, like I mentioned earlier as well. He's fantastic at this style of racetrack. Give me some Z-Bell. Carson Josevar, public enemy numero uno by everybody at NASCAR except for the fan base. Maybe some DFS players don't like him either. Um, he's been fast all season.

I don't really consider him a dominator possibility, but with the way this season goes, it wouldn't surprise me to see him lead some laps, if not a chunk of it, but there are some Kansas dogs behind him and in front of him that I just, that's a, that's a tough hill to climb. Uh, Ty Gibbs, Joe Gibbs racing, um, in fifth, uh, I don't really consider him a dom just because of how good everybody else is at Kansas, but he's been fast all season.

He could do it again. He shouldn't be surprised when he does good because we're past that. Denny Hamlin. Love me some Denny Hamlin. Ten $10,000 five hundred on draft games plus four twenty five on the books.

Fantastic at Kansas over a four hundred laps led I believe just fantastic at practice or at Kansas Bubba Wallace and twenty three XI car starting in seventh yep I'll take a shot on him him and Redick fantastic at Kansas fantastic about half I'm fairly certain this is where Bubba right hook Larson many moons ago and got suspended for a week Yeah, Bubba definitely has some history here. And we don't really see $9,000 price Bubba Wallace much.

So even DraftKings is giving him some love. So love me some Bubba Wallace. Willie B is still looking for that breakout performance, in my opinion, of this season. Could that happen on Sunday? Absolutely. Do I expect it to? I don't. Ryan Preece in ninth place. I like Ryan Preece. I don't like him here. He's probably going to be a fade for me, but he is in the playoffs, even though he's not going to win the championship or anything.

So because of that, he should be considered for the player pool, but I can't imagine getting too much of him. Josh Berry is in tenth place. Look, Josh Berry's king of short tracks, and he did win in a mile and a half. I believe he won at Vegas last year. I don't know if I see him continuing that speed from tenth place on Sunday. Can I be wrong? Absolutely, but I'll be surprised. Austin Sindrick in eleventh. I'll take a shot. Yeah, I don't know.

I consider him a little bit of a better version of Josh Berry, and I think a lot of NASCAR folks would probably think that's sacrilege, but I do rank Sendrick a bit over Berry, so I'm probably not going to go out of my way to play Sendrick, but if he would make it into my lineups, I wouldn't be too, too upset. Chris Buescher, yeah, I'll take a chance on. I wish he was starting deep in the back for us, but...

Love me some busher uh ross chastain he has a decent track rank but man them track house cars are slow so I think you have to consider him just because of his past here at kansas but I just track house kind of scares me uh daniel suarez uh fan family welcome baby boy into the world I believe it was earlier this week so congratulations to mi amigo uh he shouldn't be on baby watch as far as missing a race anytime soon or anytime in the near future so he's safe to fully play again with that said if he was starting I'd be all over it but fourteenth not the biggest fan Tyler Reddick's running fifteenth.

Yep, I'll take a shot. It's amazing how fast and how many wins he had earlier in the season to now see his recent form be C+. Like... How the mighty have fallen. Uh, but a trip to Kansas could be just what the doctor ordered for good old red dog. Um, two time winner, I believe as well. I might be wrong on that. It might be a one time winner.

So please don't, you know, if I'm wrong, please don't come the way of having the pitch force.

But, uh, Red Dog Bubba Wallace Joe Gibbs Racing twenty three XI yeah they'll they'll be the the players on Sunday along with uh Larson in my opinion uh Brad K and sixteenth yeah I'll take a shot he's very very very middle of the road C plus he plus C plus for every power ranking I wish he was a little bit cheaper since he's that quote unquote mediocre, but we play with what we got.

So I don't know if I love Brad at $7,900, but he'll still be in the player pool. SVG gets $6,400. No, I take a pass when he was trending towards the playoffs. I was much more open to it, but I think I'm going to fadeFadeTo fade a player is to leave him out of your lineups on purpose, usually because you expect him to be popular or you think he is a poor play.Fade with a reason, not a feeling. I don't know if I see him driving up through the field tomorrow to be eighteenth, but he is getting ownership, so he should be considered.

I just don't know if I see him doing that on Sunday, especially when you have Larson, Bell, gibbs hamlin bubba willie b eretic all in front of him to start the day like those are some strong cars uh austin dylan in nineteenth if you gotta save some money somewhere I don't mind taking a chance on eighty three he's starting nineteenth do I expect him to drop back absolutely but he has surprised us with some decent runs in the past so if you need to save some money and he's the last uh He's the last minute or a last driver in type scenario.

Sure. Roll it out. Todd Gilliland, Noah Gregson. That's going to be double nose for me. Dog there. Same with Michael McDowell. Spires fast. He's just not. So no go for me there. Chase Briscoe starting twenty third. Yup. Yup. Yup. Yup. Uh, Joe Gibbs racing car, twenty-third place, great PD upside, race winning upside even. Uh, yeah, love me some Chase Briscoe. Pit crew is kind of sus um but he's fast week in and week out if if the pit crew can get their stack to get the rack together there's no reason why blaine doesn't have a way better day than right so um It's going to be a long day, but he can do it. John Hunter Nemechek, that's going to be a no for me, dog. Connor Zilich, that's going to be a no for me, dog.

Zane Smith, the furthest starting front row motorsports car, I'll take a chance just because he's starting so deep in the field. Cole Custer, no. Is he the, no, he's the only, there's only three drivers in the fourth thousand range, and he's one of the three, so that's a no for me there. Uh, Eric Jones. Yup. I'll take a chance on that Jones boy. Uh, I know his recent form and track form don't look the greatest, but his track type rank does.

And that's all data from this year. So I'll take a shot on it. Um, let's see here. Ricky sent house junior. If you got to save money. Okay. Uh, Sam goes for Austin Hill. If you're, if you were looking to save some money somewhere, I'll take a shot. I don't love it by any stretch of the imagination, but yeah, Not every... Like... I don't know. I expect someone to pass somebody, right? So, like... Ricky Stenhouse or Austin, they'll have a decent day and put you...

Hundred plus forty five on the books is the track rank of b uh really good here at Phoenix not Phoenix really good here at kansas um d plus track type rank which is kind of scary since that's all generated from this year but you can't ignore that track rank and the equipment he's in for how far back he is uh riley herbst yup I'll take a shot on him he uh announced his new ride uh he's no longer a lame duck yup I'll take a chance on riley herbst and cody ware and ty dylan are both no for me dogs

Hey that's it for me like I said I wish there was more for me to go through but with no practice no qualifying we're just stuck with what the rule book gives us which is what we got right now so uh as of now which is ten thirty on Saturday night there have been no drivers announced to the rear I highly doubt there will be any drivers announced to the rear just because there was no practice of qualifying um but there is always the off chance that happens and if it does make sure you stand in stay tuned to Discord as I will send a notification in that channel anyway that's it for me good luck in all of your slates this weekend and as always let's ship it
