CFB DFS Week 7 Saturday Slate | DraftKings DFS Picks, Plays and Process

Aired Fri Oct 16, 2026 Hosts CFB DFS Week 7 Saturday Slate: Bill Runtime 1:29:19 Chapters 21 Views 1,802

From the archive. This breakdown is for the Saturday, October 17 CFB slate. Salaries, weather and picks were for that day.

The Short Version

Bill, Kenny and Ian break down a Saturday slate with unusually cheap quarterbacks and several injury-driven running back plays. J'Koby Williams ($6,700) gets the strongest overweight call with Cameron Dickey out, while Kendrick Raphael ($6,100) and Jeffrey Overton Jr. offer volume in favorable game scripts. Kansas–Kansas State is a favorite game to stack, with Avery Johnson, Isaiah Marshall and Cam Pickett all drawing interest. Arch Manning is an easy cash starting point at $6,900.

Jeremiah Smith ($9,700) is the main Ohio State target, with Nate Sheppard the other major spend if healthy. Missouri stacks concentrate on Austin Simmons with Cayden Lee and Donovan Olugbode; Jamal Roberts is the preferred expensive running back. Virginia Tech's concentrated offense supports single stacks, doubles and larger tournament builds. Rico Scott supplies savings with Ryan Coleman Williams out, while Alberto Mendoza offers a cheaper alternative to Trelain Maddox exposure through Georgia Tech's passing game.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
PAY UP The $8,200 salary is reachable on this slate, with roughly 20 touches and increased receiving work supporting cash consideration. 10:42
The backup-quarterback possibility creates hesitation at his elevated salary, although he remains acceptable as an LSU-stack bring-back. 12:26
Sam Leavitt with LSU pass catchers IN PLAY Force a receiving pairing in tournaments to pursue the full ceiling needed at $9,000 rather than relying entirely on rushing touchdowns. 13:26
Tramell Jones Jr. with Dallas Wilson and Vernell Brown III IN PLAY Consider the inexpensive quarterback in a double stack if Brown returns, with Cam Coleman or another Texas piece coming back. 18:25
FADE The $9,500 salary cannot be justified against Texas after recent inefficient performances, especially with Jeremiah Smith only $200 more. 20:33
Arch Manning with Cam Coleman TOP STACK The pairing is a favored Texas approach against Florida, while Manning is also a cash starting point who does not require a receiver. 20:55
VALUE Strong interest depends on Garrett Oakley sitting, which would open tight-end opportunities with another tight end already unavailable. 24:33
Avery Johnson and Isaiah Marshall game stacks TOP STACK Kansas–Kansas State is a favorite game to stack in multiple combinations, with Johnson the preferred quarterback and Marshall also a strong cash option. 26:52
LEVERAGE Use only with Isaiah Marshall in GPPs as a low-owned alternative while Cam Pickett attracts the attention. 26:52
VALUE His expanding target share and return to full involvement make the sub-$5,000 salary attractive alongside Marshall or separately. 27:45
Dylan Edwards with Isaiah Marshall or Cam Pickett UNDERWEIGHT Avoid combining Edwards with Marshall or Pickett in the discussed builds, using Edwards instead when betting on the Kansas rushing offense. 28:10
VALUE His low salary makes the risk acceptable given his team-leading snaps and reasonable target volume, including in large-field tournaments. 32:05
FADE The final decision is not to play him this week despite prior interest. 32:26
Kevin Jennings double stacks IN PLAY Force two cheap receivers with Jennings because bringing multiple pass catchers along is the path to paying off his $8,200 salary. 32:57
FADE Too expensive with Virginia's unpredictable running back rotation, even if he reaches 20 touches. 33:12
CORE A preferred starting point on SMU and a player expected in many lineups because of his volume, touchdown upside and depleted competition. 35:11
PAY UP The primary Ohio State target for cash and substantial exposure despite the $9,700 salary, with Julian Sayin usable alongside him in tournaments. 37:31
Opinions were split between low-owned tournament interest and possible cash use versus avoiding Indiana's difficult rushing matchup. 38:04
Auburn FADE The offense receives an outright rejection in the Georgia matchup. 41:10
VALUE At $3,100, a few catches can cover the salary and open room for premium skill players. 42:29
Opinions were split between playing him as though Nate Frazier remains out and avoiding the backfield because Frazier's status is unreliable. 42:55
LEVERAGE His raw ceiling can exceed the cheaper quarterbacks while pricing elsewhere keeps people away, making him a tournament option. 43:25
Austin Simmons with Cayden Lee and Donovan Olugbode TOP STACK The concentrated receiving usage makes the double stack enticing, and Simmons should have at least one receiver even in cash. 46:15
PAY UP Preferred over Sam Leavitt in the expensive quarterback range, without forcing the costly Deuce Alexander pairing. 48:17
A larger post-injury workload is appealing, but Missouri's run defense creates hesitation; limited exposure is discussed specifically in Missouri stacks. 48:17
PAY UP The favorite expensive running back because Missouri keeps feeding him heavy volume. 49:05
ONE-OFF Use the more expensive receiver as an alternative to Rico Scott when salary allows, with additional opportunity available. 54:00
VALUE Preferred to Lotzeir Brooks in cash for the savings with Ryan Coleman Williams out, backed by an established every-down role. 54:21
FADE The $4,600 salary was considered, but the final decision is not to play him. 55:02
Opinions were split over his $8,000 salary, with some exposure supported only in builds where Tennessee controls possession and keeps the game close. 55:30
Opinions were split between avoiding this slower game environment and retaining interest with his receivers. 55:53
OVERWEIGHT The strongest overweight call on the slate with Cameron Dickey out, a $6,700 salary and a projected Texas Tech lead supporting rushing volume. 58:43
ONE-OFF Use some at $4,600, including alongside J'Koby Williams in tournaments where both backs benefit from a Texas Tech blowout. 59:31
Texas Tech stacks with Reed Harris BRING-BACK Harris is the only Arizona State bring-back selected for Texas Tech builds, with his high salary expected to suppress ownership. 1:00:18
Viable if Nate Sheppard sits, but his price is too close to other strong running backs to make him an automatic cash replacement. 1:04:18
A $10,000 alternative to Jeremiah Smith if healthy, but the questionable designation and potential workload management need monitoring. 1:04:39
ONE-OFF Return to him against Duke for his dependable targets, with a touchdown needed to unlock a stronger result. 1:05:31
CORE One of the favorite running backs and a first-in candidate because he catches passes, gets steady touches and plays for a favored offense. 1:08:39
CHALK Justice Haynes being doubtful is expected to draw attention to the newly promoted running back at $5,400. 1:09:27
Ethan Grunkemeyer with Luke Reynolds and Que'Sean Brown TOP STACK Virginia Tech's concentrated touchdown distribution supports singles, doubles and even four-player tournament builds including Overton. 1:09:57
LEVERAGE A $5,300 pivot from Maddox exposure, with trailing passing volume and some rushing potential opening salary for elite skill players. 1:11:29
His involvement can limit Overton's carries and touchdowns, and double-digit fantasy points remain possible. 1:12:39
There is interest in attacking Penn State's rushing defense through him, but poor game logs and the split backfield prevent a firm endorsement. 1:15:59
Michigan receivers with Bryce Underwood IN PLAY Tournament interest centers on JJ Buchanan and Andrew Marsh's concentrated targets, with Underwood included for correlation despite being the least appealing piece. 1:16:33
LEVERAGE For Friday's separate slate, target his expected low ownership and possible rise to Tulane's lead role against Memphis. 1:26:41

DFS Terms Used on This Show

SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate▶ Said at 4:41 GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP▶ Said at 6:57 OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. It uses projected fantasy points, your settings and, in some tools, simulations to select combinations for a chosen goal.Build a small test batch first. Check which players and combinations repeat, and investigate why before increasing the lineup count or changing settings.Read the full definition of Optimizer▶ Said at 8:35 Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. In football, teams protecting a lead often run more, while teams chasing a deficit often pass more. Before locking a lineup, ask who keeps playing if your expected script reverses. Check passing-down roles and backup rotations instead of assuming a team's leading rusher handles every situation.Read the full definition of Game Script▶ Said at 12:26 OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership▶ Said at 12:26 Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total▶ Said at 13:26 Target ShareIn college football, target share is the same percentage of team targets, but it is often far more concentrated: many offenses send a third or more of their throws to one receiver or tight end.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share▶ Said at 15:42 Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Read the full definition of Single-Entry▶ Said at 18:02 Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Read the full definition of Cash Game▶ Said at 18:02 Bring-BackIn college football, a bring-back is usually a pass catcher or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back▶ Said at 20:33 Showdown (Captain and MVP)Showdown is a single-game DFS format where you build a lineup under a salary cap. In Captain or MVP formats, you assign one player to a special roster slot that multiplies their fantasy points and can increase their salary.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown▶ Said at 21:23 CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. It describes a big performance that could happen when things go well, not the expected score or an absolute maximum.Describe what must happen for each player to have a huge game. Then check whether those conditions help or hurt the other players in your lineup.Read the full definition of Ceiling▶ Said at 22:40 Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. In DFS, it also affects opportunities for teammates and opponents. Before an uncertain player's game locks, identify an alternative you can afford at each affected position. Check whether making that change would require another player whose game starts earlier.Read the full definition of Injury News▶ Said at 24:33 LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage▶ Said at 24:33 VarianceIn CFB DFS, rushing quarterbacks can take touchdowns from productive running backs, while uneven matchups can send starters to the bench early. These factors can create wide scoring swings even when you correctly identify the stronger offense.Track results by contest type and slate, and review opportunity separately from touchdowns or other rare scoring events. Entering the same lineup in ten contests does not give you ten independent performance samples.Read the full definition of Variance▶ Said at 26:27 Multi-EntryMulti-entry means entering more than one lineup into the same contest. A contest's entry limit, such as 3, 20 or 150, sets how many lineups one user can submit.Set your total spend for the slate first, then divide it into entries. Multi-entry should spread a fixed budget across more outcomes, not raise how much you put at risk.Read the full definition of Multi-Entry▶ Said at 28:25 Three-MaxA three-max contest lets each user enter up to three lineups. It is a small step up from single-entry.Give each of your three lineups a clear role. Make sure they differ in at least one major decision, like the main stack or the most expensive player.Read the full definition of Three-Max▶ Said at 28:25 FloorA player's floor in DFS is an estimate of the low end of their realistic fantasy scoring range. It describes downside, not a guaranteed minimum or their average projected score. Before trusting a floor estimate, check what could change the player's role today: a returning teammate, a minutes restriction, a lineup change or a different game script.Read the full definition of Floor▶ Said at 28:38 One-OffIn CFB DFS, a one-off is a player you roster outside a stack, often a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. A quarterback selected without his pass catchers can also function as a standalone play. Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off▶ Said at 34:50 ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value▶ Said at 34:50 PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. Tournament pivots usually seek comparable scoring upside at lower ownership, meaning fewer competing lineups use them. Before swapping, check what the replacement changes around it: your remaining salary, teammates, opposing players and available later-starting options.Read the full definition of Pivot▶ Said at 37:31 Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up▶ Said at 49:05 Min-CashA min-cash is the smallest prize in a contest, earned by finishing just inside the paid places. In tournaments it is usually a small multiple of the entry fee.Do not judge a tournament slate by how many lineups min-cashed. Track your top finishes, since that is where tournament profit actually comes from.Read the full definition of Min-Cash▶ Said at 54:21 Game StackIn college football, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack▶ Said at 1:06:26 Top-Heavy PayoutsA top-heavy payout structure gives a large share of a contest's prize pool to the top few finishers, leaving smaller prizes for everyone else who cashes.Read the payout table, not just the prize pool. The share of prizes that goes to first place should decide how much risk your lineup takes.Read the full definition of Top-Heavy Payouts▶ Said at 1:18:13 150-MaxA 150-max DFS contest allows you to submit up to 150 entries into that contest, paying the entry fee for each. Max entering means using every allowed entry, whether the contest limit is 150 or a smaller number.Multiply the entry fee by your planned entry count before building. If you cannot justify additional lineups on their own merits, leave the remaining entries unused.Read the full definition of 150-Max▶ Said at 1:18:13 Bankroll ManagementBankroll management is how you size your DFS spending relative to the money you have set aside to play, called your bankroll, so normal losing streaks do not wipe you out.Write down your per-slate limit before the season starts. Spending rules are much easier to keep when you set them before a losing streak, not during one.Read the full definition of Bankroll Management▶ Said at 1:19:22 Twenty-MaxA twenty-max contest lets each user enter up to 20 lineups. It sits between small-field formats like three-max and the largest 150-entry tournaments.Plan all 20 lineups before building any of them. Decide your stacks and exposure limits first, so the set works as a portfolio rather than 20 separate guesses.Read the full definition of Twenty-Max▶ Said at 1:24:02 Slate SizeSlate size is the number of games or matchups included in a DFS contest's schedule. In sports built around one event, it can instead describe the number of eligible competitors; it does not mean the number of contest entries. Before building, count the credible alternatives at each position. A slate with plenty of games can still leave you with very few appealing choices at one position.Read the full definition of Slate Size▶ Said at 1:25:15

All systems go. Clear for liftoff. The sky is falling. College football is ruined forever. The regular season means nothing. What's going on, everybody? Happy Friday. Welcome to the midseason Week seven college football breakdown at Ship It Nation. My name is Bill. Put a dollar in front of it. You'll find me on Twitter slash X. Joining me are my colleagues and good friends, Kenny, a.k.a. Hamhawk, forty one and Ian. I am Robbins. What's going on today, guys?

1:05

Big news dropping in college football world, you know, oh, things have changed so much in the last five years. I'm sure we'll have a lot to talk about, but halfway through the season, I can't believe it's already halfway through. Also, I can't believe we got a whole other half of this stuff left. This is going to be great. Yeah. Gosh, it's kind of a tough couple weeks on the DFS streets, but hopefully getting that turned around.

1:32

Yeah, I don't With the whole playoff, I always thought four was perfect. You're going to get your champion out of that. But I've definitely been proven wrong with Miami getting to the national championship last year. And we've seen these teams that maybe would not have been in that get to the championship. So I'm kind of all for it now. I guess more competitive games in December or whatever. I guess when you're half-twelve, what's twenty-four? Yeah.

1:57

And I like I I'm not I guess I'm not shocked at the reaction on socials and by the general college football fan community. But it's the same people that wanted to keep it at two instead of four, wanted to keep it at four instead of twelve. But, you know, if you want to keep it at four, how do Florida State fans feel about that? If you want to keep it at twelve, how do Notre Dame fans feel about that? I like the idea of twenty four.

2:21

I've been saying it all Week in the community on socials like I can't wait till UMass goes on the road to Austin and beats Texas in the first round. Just the chaos and pandemonium. Obviously, it's different than basketball, but I've been seeing sentiment that it's all about the money. It's too many teams now. It's it's not just, you know, it's not going to be as competitive, all this stuff. But you could argue the same for basketball. March Madness, that continues to expand.

2:48

And also, I'm of the belief that conference realignment and nil are ruining college football way more than the cfp expansion yeah I think this brings a little bit back to it because um you know one thing I really like about this new format is these teams are getting home games you know you're earning your way into home playoff games that's something that I thought was it has been the coolest part about the whole playoff expansion right now is you get these home Home campus, like there's nothing better than a campus meaningful game on campus.

3:20

And we're going to get more of these now. And so in the conference title game, since conference realignment has kind of gone to the wayside, which I appreciate that. NIL is a whole nother thing we're going to get figured out, but at least it's going to bring some more dollars spread out across the field. We're going to bring some more home games. It's going to be a lot more football throughout December. You know, all the other levels do it. So why not?

3:42

Why not Davison I as opposed to FBS, FCS, DII, DIII, NAIA does it all? Yeah, and I agree with Hart. Everything's about money, right? Everything is about money. Yeah, the home playoff game is going to be insane. So I don't think it's going to ruin college football. I think the regular season was already ruined. Now, ideally, they stop making this a beauty pageant.

4:11

They let metrics determine more they get people to stop scheduling these cupcake games at the beginning of the season and we have you know wall-to-wall competitive games instead of you know fcs against fbs p four versus g six so I think there's more that needs to be done but I'm I'm not against I'm not against the expansion I I don't think it's going to ruin college football I think we'll be just fine we've made it this far all right I mean or we could go back to having the coaches pull an a people decide Who our national champion is.

4:41

Co-national titles. I'm sure people would love that. But yeah, Hart, we do have a great Saturday SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. Speaking of the nineties, we'll go all the way back, but we have a good slate ahead of us. You're absolutely right. It is mid-season. We have some good contests on DraftKings. We have the big mid-season. I don't even remember exactly what it's called, but there's a good big contest for everybody, especially like, I think it's probably... We're going to open a few new players.

5:10

So maybe we have a little bit of a little bit of an advantage. But I do want to mention quickly that we still have the best deal in the nation. Three forty nine for the entire season. It's we're getting close to midseason. So this becomes less and less valuable every day. The earlier you get in, the better off you're going to be. But if you just love college football, we do have our single single sport packages as well.

5:33

The one thing I'll say about that is if. If you love football in general, do the NFL CFB or get the all access because that gets you into the ship at games. We just had to bump up to a $50,000 prize pool. And this is something you get involved in every single Week. There's a lot of free opportunity to win money. Something that nobody else in the industry is doing.

5:52

So if you're interested, Ship It Nation dot com backslash games, it'll take you to the page. The explainers are all here, how you get the tickets. But I say it every Week. The best time to get in with Ship It Nation is yesterday night. I it's the best value in the industry. I, in my opinion, the best Discord in the industry. I love the community we've built.

6:13

Uh, and we have conversations beyond just picks and plays and that's what makes us, what makes us unique. Uh, but speaking of the Saturday SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate, uh, one thing that you'll notice as we go through, we've already had conversations within our group about it. Everybody's underpriced and, uh, you know, part of, part of one of the, one of the theories is that we're going to have more players.

6:34

Because of this big mid-season contest, people have won tickets on DraftKings, and DK wants new people, maybe that don't know a ton about CFB DFS but love college football, to be able to play whoever they want in their lineups. It's very, I would consider it noob-friendly. What do you guys think about just the pricing in general? We can start there before we go game by game.

6:57

Yeah, I mean, obviously you look at the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate this Week and you're like, holy crap, the quarterbacks are all like priced down a tier from what they usually are. I don't know if that's as much of an effect as like they're having the big GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP or it's like it's gotten to the point where guys like Jeremiah Smith and Nate Sheppard are like projecting better than any quarterbacks on the slate. And that hasn't been a thing necessarily every year.

7:20

So I think kind of think it's a mix of the both because it was I mean, they didn't change it until like really this Week's.

7:27

Don't know it's just it's with guys like that it definitely just changes the whole build like to where we've seen like optimal spit out a position player in super flex um so yeah I think it's just a little mix of the both but interesting nonetheless It's like every Week we get something unique about pricing, whether it's really, really tight or there's some injury value or there's a bunch of underpriced players. This Week, no different.

7:52

It's just a different way to make decisions. I think that's the unique thing about college football. Each Week, you're dealing with a different set of players, a different set of teams, different strategies. As compared to the NFL, we pretty much have the same teams over and over again on the slates, college football. Very few appear Week to Week on the same slate. So that's the exciting part about it.

8:13

And that's the fun part about it is we just have such a massively bigger player pool. Just brings different puzzles in each Week. And this Week is no different. Some injuries to keep in mind, but this Week is no different with the puzzles. Yeah, and that is the nice thing. Like you said, it's a different puzzle every Week. And I never even thought about the fact that we've had wide receivers in the Superflex.

8:35

It seems like Week after Week when you're running lineups on an OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. It uses projected fantasy points, your settings and, in some tools, simulations to select combinations for a chosen goal.Build a small test batch first. Check which players and combinations repeat, and investigate why before increasing the lineup count or changing settings.Read the full definition of Optimizer. This gets rid of that, and maybe it's too far in one direction, but that very well could be the reason. But we'll get started. Speaking of injuries and putting the puzzle together, Mississippi State at LSU. Mississippi State, a fifteen-point underdog. Looking at Camario Taylor, this line has moved three points more in some places this Week toward LSU, and that leads us to believe that Camario is probably not going to go.

9:04

So that leaves Parker Puckett. Who knows anything about Parker Puckett? He's got limited playing time. The thing that sticks out is he's $4,600. But as we kind of touched on, we don't need to go down there. And there's going to be other $4,600 options this Week that we'll get to in the next game and more games to come. Fluff Bothwell is also questionable. Now, Kentucky had some success on the ground against LSU. Whit Weeks is still out.

9:30

Bothwell is just a little bit expensive in the grand scheme of the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. Anthony Evans, I think, is a stud regardless. They finally priced him over seven $7,000, though, which I think is good for college football because he's put up Jeremiah Smith-esque numbers already a couple of times this year. Not that he's Jeremiah Smith. I don't want to get that twisted. But and then on the LSU side, Levitt, I believe, is the most expensive player on the slate.

9:55

But I think in this matchup, it's probably warranted. Dylan Jones, absolute workhorse last Week. And it's like he had seven catches on seven targets. So it's not just all coming in the running game. $8,200. Again, a steep price, but easy to get to on this slate, depending on how you build in the wide receiver room. You're looking at Watkins, Harris, maybe Trey Wilson with no trade as green.

10:17

Roman Mothershed has been getting some more run again with with the slate as a whole. I don't think you need to get too cute. I like him more as like an anytime touchdown bet than I do for DFS specifically this Week. But Ian, Like, thirty six and a half points screams like there's got to be something for cash here. But with the pricing, it makes it a little bit tougher. Yeah, automatically, I think Dylan Jones is probably your best catch play.

10:42

If you have the salary to do that, just a guy that we really can expect to touch the ball. Twenty times, you know, two plus touchdown under favorite for LSU. Definitely a lot in screens. Super Camaro is not going to play. Dylan Jones has been great all year. And then just the uprising, the targets last Week, you know, is he getting involved more in the past game? It's definitely possible, especially with trade as green out.

11:04

So he's definitely a guy that I would definitely target in cash and If you are looking at some of the volume players here, I always would want to have in cash as well. And the other side is Anthony Evans. Without Kamara Taylor, though, if he ends up not playing, I'm a little bit hesitant because Evans is so speedy. They give him plenty of targets right around the line of scrimmage, but he's also a massively incredible deep ball threat.

11:28

And Kamara Taylor has one of the best deep balls, deep – He passes the ball deep better than mostly anybody else in college football. That's really one of his strengths. And that could hamper Evans a little bit. Like you said, he's just been an absolute stud all year. Even Levin at $9,000, you know, the way that he's dual threat, often just runs through him. It's hard to ignore him there as well. So he was been a little crapshoot.

11:52

It's been a little bit condensed to Harris and Watkins since trade as green has been out, but yeah, I definitely would be very interested in Dylan Jones in this one. I still like my volume running backs, and Dylan Jones falls right into that category of volume running backs. Yeah, I guess for me here, I mean, I assume Kamaru Taylor is not going to play. If we get word that he's like full go, it's really hard for me to ignore.

There's definitely better spots, but it'd be something I'd look into. Assuming him out, Evans, I'm fine with as long as I'm running back with an LSU. I think that he's a good enough receiver. You just get the ball in his hands, whether that be at a low, a dot, or down the field. Either way, he is pretty pricey. But I think in stacks, it's fine.

12:53

Dylan Jones like he would just score a touchdown or two that would just I mean it's kind of where his price tag is it's like that's already baked in but he hasn't been getting it so I there's really not many I mean the running backs up top are so like spread apart that are expensive that you kind of end up like you just I feel like I land on him when I do get to him so I don't know I'm sure I'll have some but I don't really have a stance um Yeah, and then Levitt, I think he's ran so well and ran so many touchdowns.

13:26

Either way, I'm going to force a pairing to get that ultimate nine-case ceiling out of him tomorrow. Hopefully that doesn't drag him down if he decides to run everything in. Hopefully Dylan Jones gets some of that. But it's a tough spot to make a decision, even with the huge Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what Mississippi State can throw out if they don't have their two of their top three offensive weapons.

We're happy to answer them.

14:20

I already see the check in a little bit active. Kenny, you want to throw on some pads? Honestly, I'll take the hundred bucks. Oh man, that's one of my buddies. I know that guy. My buddy's Paul Peppers in the chat too. That was a good one. We got Florida at Texas. Another double-digit spread. Pass. Florida, the road dog. Okay. Yep. We're just getting past that. We don't think Philo's going to go, so that leaves. Is it Trammell or Trammell? I don't even know, man.

14:55

Okay. Trammell. Okay. All right. Trammell Jones coming in another $4,600 quarterback. And then, you know, Dallas Wilson, we think Vernell Brown's going to go. Bailey Stockton, Eric Singleton. Like, they're four competent wide receivers. Duke Clark's out, which spells good things for Jaden Baugh, right? But it's a tough matchup. He's expensive. Speaking of the matchup, Arch Manning is the opposite of expensive. This might be the cheapest he's ever been on DraftKings.

15:21

I'm not going to do any historical looking back like multiple seasons, but He's going to pop just because of the Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total and his price, even whether you think he sucks or not. He's had some tough matchups. This is much easier than last Week. And then you got Smothers, Brown, and Cooper all getting a piece of this backfield. And they're just kind of, it's tough to pinpoint where we want to go there.

15:42

And then in the wide receiver room, I think these wide receivers are priced appropriately. I think any one of them can pop. If you get a touchdown or two from them, they're all getting a decent amount of the Target ShareIn college football, target share is the same percentage of team targets, but it is often far more concentrated: many offenses send a third or more of their throws to one receiver or tight end.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share. How are you playing this, Ian? I know begrudgingly on your part, we're going to start with you. You're a resident Florida guy. It's been a tough run for the Gators.

16:00

It's been a tough, you know, talk about swings of emotions in college football. It can bring you up and it can bring you down in a hurry. But we're looking at Florida. So Jones and Philo were in that quarterback battle all throughout the offseason. Pretty fair shake. Philo had the advantage just coming from Georgia Tech with Faulkner. So, you know, Philo's been struggling the last few weeks. He's taken a lot of hits. Jones is more of a pocket passer. He was a four-star.

16:27

He was a holdover recruit, so he's certainly talented. He's got a pretty big arm. I think the big deal that would come back is if Vernal Brown, the third, does come back and he's been the way he's so shifty. He just opens up the field so much for what he does. He's so dynamic. I think that does open up a lot. He's been a lot more of a participant at practice, but he's going to really have to be a hundred percent to go.

16:51

I do think he does return this Week. Stockton has played through injury. Singleton has been back the last few weeks and Dallas Wilson has been there. I just think if VB three is back, it does open up a lot for, for Bob, because now it just, everybody's been stacking the line against Bob and Philo has been able to beat him by himself the last few weeks. So we'll see if Jones can still really, really tough matchup for all these guys bought nine five.

17:13

He's going to touch the ball thirty times, but he's just been such a, Such a bummer the last few weeks. Saved himself a little bit with a touchdown last Week, but just tough to go there. And the receivers are priced up. You know, Ferrell Brown and Dallas Wilson are priced up in a tough matchup that we kind of got to wait and see what happens here. And Texas has, you know, for whatever they are, they have a really good defense.

17:35

Florida has been really struggling on the defense, especially to stop the pass. So we look over to Arch at six, nine, and this is the most enticing spot. It's probably going to be the highest OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership we see on Arch, for good or for bad. They got a thirty-point-plus team total. They're a double-digit favorite. They got a favorite with matchup. Cam Coleman has been around, just throw the ball up to Cam. Running back room is pretty much a split, so it's hard to get anyone there.

18:02

Arch just screams as a really good play in all formats here and somebody that is really easy to start your Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. And I don't even think you have to stack Arch because he will spin the ball around, but he's just pressing away in a cash lineup. I don't think you need to pair him up with anybody. So unfortunately, I'm avoiding the Florida side this Week in a Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. 18:25

I do think a stack with Jones, Wilson, and Brown, if Brown does go, could be kind of sneaky and affordable just with Jones priced down so much if you're running back with Cam Coleman or somebody like that. That's greasy. What do you think, Kenny? You know, the Texas side, you kind of talk specifically about you don't have to play arch with someone. That's kind of where my stand is going to be. I mean, I really like Texas this Week.

18:56

And I guess I'll kind of start with this. Like there's two matchups on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate that are like this, where it's like the stoppable force versus the movable object. Stoppable force in Texas' offense against the movable object. Object to Florida's defense. So, like, which one's going to prevail here? I really love Cam Coleman. Like, last Week I played a fair amount of him. Like, he's a super fair price. He hasn't really tapped into that full ceiling, I think, yet.

19:21

It's kind of been a lower volume passing attack. But he scores touchdowns. I think he's fine in any way you play him. I think he can be played by himself. Wingo and Mosley, I'm going to only play with Arch, but I am going to play some of them. I think that it's a solid spot. What scares the crap out of me is if these running backs get to do whatever they want to, and then it just destroys everything.

19:43

One thing about it, Texas is cheap enough that you can survive that if something like that did happen still. If Some others round each score, then maybe you can just get two to Coleman or two to Wingo or something. As far as onslaughting, I don't know if I want to do it with Texas just because of the stoppable force thing. And then Florida side, gosh, like...

20:08

I feel for you, dude, because it's like you get all the way in the top ten, and now you're not even ranked. Like, two weeks later, it's just real. It is the highs and lows of college football, you know. This is why we love and hate this sport. Oh, for sure. Like, and Jaden Baugh, gosh, it's like I just can't get there this Week. And usually, like – I mean, he's just been so inefficient in these last two matchups.

20:33

It's just hard for me to get there at $9,500. Like, I can't justify that against the $9,700 Jeremiah Smith. But, yeah, Trammell Jones, I have some interest in. I kind of want to dig in some more. Just he's so cheap. I don't find it with like a Texas Bring-BackIn college football, a bring-back is usually a pass catcher or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back maybe to push that Texas a little bit. I mean, Florida does still have a twenty point team total. So I don't know.

20:55

But Texas side, especially pairing Arch Manning, I think is a really good, really good strategy this Week. Yeah. And I am on board with Arch. If he can't get it right this Week, when is he going to get it right? Like he's been one of the more criticized and for good reason. And honestly, if you. Pair Arch Manning with Cam Coleman, six, nine and six hundred. You're hitting multiple generations with jokes and verbal stims. So, I mean, that sounds great.

21:23

And speaking of jokes, there's more inside jokes in the chat. I don't know what this means, but it's lunchtime for me and I'm starving. So I don't appreciate this. Ian, I know you have more intel on that one. Yeah, it goes way back. It goes back twenty five years. Oh, man. Speaking of generational jokes. All right, we got the Sunflower Showdown (Captain and MVP)Showdown is a single-game DFS format where you build a lineup under a salary cap. In Captain or MVP formats, you assign one player to a special roster slot that multiplies their fantasy points and can increase their salary.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown Kansas at Kansas State, and maybe the top two quarterback plays on the slate. On the Kansas side, Isaiah Marshall is just underpriced.

21:50

He went off through the air against Utah and also has the ability to run the ball. You know, I love a good revenge game. We got Dylan Edwards going against his former team, and that felt like it was contentious all season last year after, what, the third play of the international game or something. Like, everything just went to hell for Dylan Edwards. And it was it felt like it was some on the field, some off the field.

22:13

And then in terms of wideouts, Cam Puckett at sub $5,000, he's come back with like just some fire and has had fourteen targets last Week for one thirty four, even at eight targets in his first game back. But what I liked about last game is that he got his route like his snaps and routes up. Along with the targets. So, um, clearly getting back into a main target role, possibly even wide receiver one, obviously McMillan's still there getting his share.

22:40

Najee Cox is still going to be on the field a ton, especially cause Kubeka is out. Uh, maybe we get a little more Tate Nagy, but I don't know if we need to get that cute. Then on the Kansas state side, Avery Johnson. Solid matchup, rivalry game, only $7,500. We know he's dual threat. Not that he's like had like a super CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. 23:04

I'll defer to you guys on that because I don't have a hard take on these guys. They're cheap enough. But again, in terms of the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate as a whole, I'm still undecided on those guys. And then the wide receiver room, we have some interesting things going on here. Tibbs and Manning are still going to be your top two guys in all likelihood. But Garrett Oakley's questionable, and Garrett Oakley being questionable means Lincoln Cure is the next man up.

23:26

His brother plays for Kansas, and he was a super, super highly touted recruit, five-star, we believe, correct. Kenny, we were talking about this pre-show, and Lincoln Cure is one of the names that specifically got up. We'll start with you. How are you attacking this game? It's not a super high total, but it's, I mean, it's, I mean, Yeah, it's high enough for this slate. I think the highest is Ole Miss, Missouri at like fifty nine.

23:53

So it's not completely out of line by any means. Yeah, I guess this is probably like my favorite game of the slate like to dig into. I think there's a lot of different ways you can go for state. Like Avery's probably my favorite quarterback play on the slate. He's obviously the $7,500 little sticker shock. And then, you know, it's still relative play. To the rest of the quarterbacks on the slate. I really like him. Kansas is kind of like a pass funnel.

24:21

I'm not going to pretend like I've watched Kansas, but if you look at some metrics, they're kind of a pass funnel. Kansas State doesn't necessarily want to throw the ball, but we have seen Tibbs, Manning, Oakley have some good games.

24:33

And what Bill touched on, if Oakley's out, which he just popped up on the Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. In DFS, it also affects opportunities for teammates and opponents. Before an uncertain player's game locks, identify an alternative you can afford at each affected position. Check whether making that change would require another player whose game starts earlier.Read the full definition of Injury News yesterday, and lincoln kier gets the chance and the will arsenal is already out like kansas state likes to throw their tight ends like I I'd be all over that and like because this I finally get a good opportunity to play this guy um so it's definitely a spot I'm going to monitor and if not I really I like oakley I he's going to be LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage I think all these past catches for kansas state will be unowned um as far as the running backs go I'm probably going to play some rodney fields um I don't really feel great about it, but gosh, they are cheap.

25:11

Um, and we've seen a Kansas state running back pop off a time or two, but I'm going to kind of lean into that past funnel, um, take that I have with Kansas and the Kansas side. So last Week I was all over like race on Sanford, like next to nothing OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership. Nine fantasy points on twenty opportunities. And like Hughes was, I think he had like seventy eight in a touchdown. Like they still like did what I wanted them to do, but they didn't like it didn't show up.

25:39

Dylan Edwards, I'm glad they priced him at $6,600 because you do have to think about it. I think he's going to get some ownership. It definitely isn't going to get out of control and it kind of scares the crap out of me. But I think the matchup is definitely there for Dylan Edwards. I don't know if he's gonna be able to be efficient enough.

25:58

Really, he had a good game against the mid Tennessee State and then he was eighteen for eighty nine against Missouri. He has a chance to have twenty opportunities here. And really, I think that's really good in that, I guess, Kansas State's rush defense. Really like Marshall, he threw for over three hundred yards last Week. It's not very like I never feel good about playing Kansas quarterback, but it seems like they've been in this situation so much over the years.

26:27

Even when Jalen Daniels was there, they're cheap and they will just garbage gut their way to fifteen fantasy points and sometimes they'll get some Rushing touchdown VarianceIn CFB DFS, rushing quarterbacks can take touchdowns from productive running backs, while uneven matchups can send starters to the bench early. These factors can create wide scoring swings even when you correctly identify the stronger offense.Track results by contest type and slate, and review opportunity separately from touchdowns or other rare scoring events. I think he's really great, but Nick McMillan. He's going to be unowned here just because pickets like to trend as to be the wide receiver one. McMillan has shown a ceiling.

26:52

It's strictly a GPB play and like strictly with Marshall for me, but it's an interesting way to get a little different in this game, especially since Pickett's probably going to pull some ownership. But yeah, I love stacking this up any which way. So a lot of options. It's a really good target game from the cash perspective. I think Marshall is one of your top cash quarterback options at five, eight.

27:15

Tight spread, even as an underdog, they still have a mid-twenty point, twenty-five and a half point Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total. Avery Johnson got that dual threat. He's been pretty solid as a DFS option, probably underachieved as a real-life quarterback, but for DFS purposes, he's always been pretty solid. Marshall, he's an exciting player. If you've ever watched him play, he'll He'll throw the ball up. No, he just plays with no fear and has a really high ceiling at that spot.

27:45

And in this kind of rivalry game, it's really the atmosphere for that. Cam Puckett is a guy that has been really, just his Target ShareIn college football, target share is the same percentage of team targets, but it is often far more concentrated: many offenses send a third or more of their throws to one receiver or tight end.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share, his volume has been exploding since he's been back off injury. And I think he's just kind of taken over for McMillan and McMillan was getting that target share early on all the condensed targets. And now it seems like with Puckett kind of back in the full mode, it's shifting over. He's super affordable under five.

28:10

Either of those guys can be played together separately or, I do really like Dylan Edwards. I don't think I want to play Dylan Edwards with Marshall and or Puckett. I think Dylan Edwards is going to all run through Dylan Edwards. I do like him as a play.

28:25

If I'm making Multi-EntryMulti-entry means entering more than one lineup into the same contest. A contest's entry limit, such as 3, 20 or 150, sets how many lineups one user can submit.Set your total spend for the slate first, then divide it into entries. I really love that aspect of it.

28:38

Just stayed so hard to pick and choose with the with the receivers because they just kind of rotate through it seems like fields is more the runner Jackson's more the pass catcher you know all those skill guys play and that's kind of really hard to predict but avery Johnson is a really good do-it-all type quarterback so he's something that you can play on his own in all formats as well so I'm with you kenny I love this game yeah it seems like it has a good mix of FloorA player's floor in DFS is an estimate of the low end of their realistic fantasy scoring range. 29:08

So, uh, definitely a game worth targeting in multiple formats, DFS, uh, another game that I think we may be targeting some Virginia at SMU, a decently big spread, another total over fifty, uh, Bo Pribula, $6,000 flat. It's maybe he's coming around a little bit lately. I know he threw out a dud or two, uh, has been a little bit frustrating, but it's just a $6,000. Just kind of in that same range.

29:34

Actually, one of the more expensive quarterbacks on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate, which is weird to say for a $6,000 quarterback. Jaquel Middlebrook is a bit expensive and it's still a timeshare, although he did have a little bit bigger workload this Week. And I don't mind the matchup against SMU's run defense. The wide receiver room, though, Virginia has twenty two guys out and most of them are in the wide receiver room. It feels like no Rico Flores, no Cam Courtney.

29:57

So it looks like we'll have Deshaun Martin as wide receiver one, Taleric Coleman as Josiah Abdullah? It's really tough to pinpoint who's going to be the next man up. Those are the three guys that I would say. Maybe it means more for Dakota Twitty and John Rogers at the tight end position. Then on the SMU side, Kevin Jennings is a fair price. I'm not scared of this Virginia defense.

30:19

Raphael is without Jermichael Green eating into his workload, so he's going to project as one of the better players on the slate. Christian Rhodes is a former four-star who is back. He's missed the entire season so far, I believe with a broken hand. But so, I mean, there's a chance he's in shape. Like you're still able to run with a broken hand. You just can't play football.

30:39

So at $4,000 flat, if you do need savings, which again, I don't know if you do, he might slip into that Jameco green role a little bit more so than, than the general public may think. Obviously we still have Derek McFall who can get carries. He's technically a wide receiver on DraftKings. But then I think we have a little bit of the same old, same old with these SMU receivers.

30:58

Ymir Knight, number one, I think is like he's got the edge, but Yannick Smith, Jalen Cooper are both on the field a ton. Randy Pittman's obviously out there at tight end. Virginia has been getting beat by big wide receivers on the outside. So that is a little bit of an advantage to Yannick and Cooper. And they've also gotten beat by tight ends a couple of times, which is Pittman.

31:16

Now it's not to say Knight a bad play, but I feel like I want a piece of this SMU wide receiver room, Kenny, but I just don't know where to, where to target. Yeah. And I mean, you're right where it is the same old, same old, not maybe quite to the extent it used to be, but it does, does feel like that. You know, Yannick Smith has been chalk a lot this year.

31:40

I wasn't super high on him coming into the year, so it's taking a little time for me to adjust. But he's been a frustrating chalk receiver from a GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP player's perspective because he's gotten there on a long touchdown or something. But I think this Week I'm in on it. It's not anything I'm going to go overboard with, but it's – A lot of things are lining up for him. He's playing the most snaps on his team. He's getting a fair amount of targets.

32:05

That being said, he could go for a thirty and bust, but he's cheap enough to where it's worth taking that risk, even in a large field type situation. That being said, I really like Ymir Knight as well. He's a great pivot. Cooper, I think, is fine. Randy Pittman, as bad as I want that to work out. I don't know if I'm going to get there this Week, so drop that down. You guys might want to go.

32:26

Him since I'm not playing Pittman finally um you know if Rhodes wasn't back I'd be a little more intrigued by McFall but I um yeah I I think my favorite play from SCM is Kinder Raphael like I he scored a touchdown in like four straight games he has multiple touchdown upsides Think that like Raphael is kind of where I want to start with SMU. I'm not opposed to having like Raphael and Smith in the same amount without Jennings. Yeah, without Jennings.

32:57

And then Jennings, I think I'm going to force a double stack with him. Like he's a little pricey compared to the quarterbacks. I really don't feel comfortable playing him. But the way he's going to make you pay at eighty two hundreds if he brings a couple of these cheap guys with him. So that's how I'm going to attack that side, Virginia.

33:12

Gosh, that first game this year, you would have thought Bo Pribula was going to be just like a Michael Hawkins-type fantasy player, and boy, that fell off quick. Still have some interest in six-gay. SMU's not that past form of what they used to be. They've definitely been gouges in the run game. So I don't mind Pribula. Ja'Kai Middlebrook just too expensive for me, and Virginia can get goofy with their running back rotations. I'm fine risking...

33:38

Shikai Middlebrook twenty touches that he's not going to have a usable fantasy score. Receiver's not really interested in maybe Deshaun Martin. He's kind of been ho-hum like all year. I don't know if there's a ceiling there, but I mean, if you really want an option, he's there. I don't even know if I want to play it in a one fifty set, but love the SMU side. Virginia, not super enthused about. You said it right there.

34:05

And Kenny, I was really ready to say my favorite play in this game. One of my favorite plays of this latest Kendricks Raphael six, one super four ball running back. You know, he's going to get the volume. Everyone behind him is pretty much banged up, doubled, you know, close to a ten point favor with a thirty point Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total. I mean, everything screams great play there on paper. And that's what he's going to done.

34:26

Obviously, if we both like him that much, but that's how the game goes. Um, Yannick Smith was that guy. What was he on all those Thursday American slays when the ECU was on the slate? He was always like the third guy that was got the big play. Also, um, SMU receivers, we've been doing this how long together? I think we've been talking about SMU receivers for that long for four or five years or so.

34:50

Uh, The only thing with Pribula, he was definitely banged up a few weeks ago. He ran a lot more last Week, getting back to his old self. So if he could run, he's a much different player than when he can't run because he's not a very good pocket passer. They're so banged up. Martin just by default volume, maybe, as a One-OffIn CFB DFS, a one-off is a player you roster outside a stack, often a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. 35:11

I'd much rather have Ymir Knight on the other side. But I do love Rafael on the spot. I'm likely going to find his way and hit a lot of my lines. Yeah, and on top of that, with all of the injuries and value we have across the slate, Rafael might be getting overlooked because there's going to be some RB ones that are cheaper than him on the slate. And, I mean, decent matchups as well.

35:35

So maybe that keeps his OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership a little bit lower than it normally would. I think he'll still garner some ownership, just maybe not as much. All right. All right. Thirty five minutes down. We're actually a little bit behind our normal pace, which is fine. It's been a fun discussion. We talked about CFP, but there's going to be some games we don't need to talk nearly as much about.

35:51

I honestly think this is one of them for as good of a college football game as this is setting up to be for DFS purposes. It's it feels clear like Julian saying is cheaper than he's been. And Indiana can get beat by the pass. So I think maybe you actually look at him this Week. It's not as expensive to get him and Jeremiah Smith together. Usually they're both $9,000. Now, Jeremiah Smith being nine seven, it still gets pretty close to that.

36:18

But with the way this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate lays out, I don't think it's impossible to get to Bo Jackson. I don't know that I love the matchup, even with Jacobs Jackson out any $7,500, which is I mean, you're going to get a low on Bo in all likelihood. Like, again, just a situation where on a more normally priced slate that we've seen this season, he'd probably garner more OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership. But it's really Smith.

36:41

Is the guy maybe you stack him with saying, uh, if you can get the rest of your lineup to work. And I don't, I don't mind taking a shot on Bo if he's going to be sub five percent. Uh, and then on the Indiana side, I mean, Josh Hoover is cheap, tough matchup. I don't love this pricing and timeshare of Richard and BB against Ohio state.

37:03

Um, you know, would I be surprised if one of them pops and has a flame next to their name at the end of the day? No. But I'm personally not going to play it that way. And then I think Becker and Marsh, I think, are playable regardless. You're going to get them way lower owned than you would expect on any given slate. Ian, I mean, is it really just Smith for cash and then everybody else is if you're playing GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP?

37:27

Is there anything else you even consider for cash in this game?

37:31

Nothing more than what you said smith for sure I don't it's just so hard to overlook at this point you mentioned beau maybe his cash I don't mind it either if you got seventy five I don't care if you you know I don't mind playing them both together um and then if you're trying to like PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. Tournament pivots usually seek comparable scoring upside at lower ownership, meaning fewer competing lineups use them. Before swapping, check what the replacement changes around it: your remaining salary, teammates, opposing players and available later-starting options.Read the full definition of Pivot off of smith looking at marsh rebecca is is fine they're they're they're good but it's a great game fun watch smith and move on for me Yeah, I honestly all I want to do right now is just complain about how lucky Indiana got last Week.

38:04

I mean, gosh, I guess the Ohio State side actually kind of have some intrigue with saying this Week like we've seen him get over thirty points like and like just throwing the ball. I don't know if it's fully here this Week, but I don't mind that no ownership and cheap as he's been strictly pairing with Jeremiah Smith. Bo Jackson thought, I was like, Jacobs out. Bo Jackson, maybe I'm not interested. This Indiana run defense is no joke.

38:36

I was really big on Jamal Rule last Week. He got enough volume to get there, but was just super inefficient. I will say, not to get completely off topic, but if you saw Jamal Rule run for that Indiana defender last Week, that was pretty sweet. That was the one highlight we had. But yeah, Indiana. I mean, I have interest in the two big receivers.

38:55

Last Week I really liked Nick Marsh just because I thought that was a type of receiver that could beat Nebraska, and that is one thing I got right, unfortunately, to my dismay. But, yeah, not a ton of interest stacking this. It's just like Jeremiah Smith really is all that I'm going to be having a large portion of. Yeah, good real-life football game for sure. And blossoming into a rivalry. Who'd have thought that with Ohio State, Indiana five years ago?

39:26

Speaking of rivalry, oldest rivalry in the deep South, Auburn and Georgia, a little more one-sided than some of these matchups have been in the past. I don't really have much to say about Auburn. Like Byron Brown's cheap, but we've already talked about quarterbacks that are in better spots for less. You'll get them at virtually no ownership. But if I sat here on this show and recommended playing Byron Brown in UCF or USF at Georgia, Like we might not have a show anymore.

39:55

I just, but if anybody on this Auburn side, it's probably him. I don't really like anything else on the Georgia side. Gunner Stockton. $7,200. I mean, again, it's a broken record with the pricing on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. And just I don't know if you need to pair him, though, with a wide receiver because we just don't know who it's going to be. Craig Dandridge at $3,100 and six targets last Week. And he's, I think, maybe coming around.

40:20

He's gotten some decent usage in a couple of games this year. And just one of those young guys that's blossoming, if he can find his stride early and keep consistency, this might be the lowest he's ever priced again on any college football slate. But with Georgia, you just never know. The talker of this game is what's going on in this running back room. Nate Frazier last Week, not on the report. I'm in a lot of lineups and just didn't play. Everybody thought he was going to be back.

40:45

Same thing this Week, not on the report. Everybody thinks he's going to be back. I am seeing a lot of news, like actual sources that say he's going to be back this Week. I don't remember exactly what the coverage was a Week ago, but it's going to be like, are people going to be gun shy? Like Dwight Phillips at $4,900. Amazing spot. If Frazier doesn't go, if Frazier does, we just don't know. We'll start with you, Kenny.

41:10

Like, how do you how do you touch this running back room for Georgia and Like anything else in this game that you like? I guess I'll start with Auburn. No. And then Georgia. Auburn has the worst defense on the slate as far as like P.F. Grades go. I'm super interested in Stockton at $7,200. I almost kind of hope Nate Frazier is supposed to be active because Dwight Phillips has been pretty good and he's done it through the air.

41:38

He's done it on the ground. I think his price is still fine for this game environment. I don't know, you know, Frazier does play. How much does that cap a ceiling? But gosh, I just like, why would you not play Nate Frazier last Week and then play him this Week? I don't, I don't know. I still kind of, It's almost – I remember a couple years ago, or it might have even been last year, like, Carnell Tate had, like, something similar happen.

42:03

Like, he wasn't even on the report and then didn't play or something like that. That was last year. I remember. He was in last year, yeah. Yeah, so I don't know if some of that stuff's going on. That being said, I'm almost going to play it as if Nate Frazier not going to play and just roll out Dwight Phillips, not worry about Bo Walker. And then, yeah, as far as pairing Stockton – Dangerous was the only one just because he's $3,100.

42:29

But I just I don't see a big ceiling out of either of these guys. Like if dangerous gets eighteen points, like that's totally like reasonable. Like I could work for a GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP at $3,100. But these other guys are not interested in. Yeah, dangerous, I think, just because of the close to min price, you know, a couple catches, and he hits value for you, and it lets you just open up your lineup so much more with some of those skill guys.

42:55

A little bit creative. I'm just going to avoid the running back room. I don't know what to think. Maybe last Week was a pseudo suspension. I mean, who knows? Auburn, no, like you said. And Stockton is a good play for GPP. I'm not going to really look at him. Just comparatively, I think there's – he's got a solid floor. I don't quite know what his ceiling is. For the number one team in the country, do we still know what Georgia is offensively?

43:25

I don't know. I don't know. No, that's tough. It's tough to pinpoint, like you said, the running back room. The one thing about Gunnar Stockton is I think – his raw point ceiling is higher than some of these $5,000 guys and you can get to him, but people aren't going to just because of the pricing and it, it does feel like a GPP play to me as well.

43:52

But with the cash trains in cash contests this year, and so many dupe lineups making a pivot or two off of what you would consider your lock Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Read the full definition of Cash Game, isn't, the worst idea in the world. Look for guys that have similar raw point ceilings or better raw point ceilings. Um, and, and this Week is the Week to do it because you can, you can get different without having to shift too much budget around. All right. Well, I think we can wrap up with this.

44:22

We've got a couple of questions we'll wrap up with at the end of the show. Um, but we'll get, we'll get to some of those specific questions, uh, once we're through everybody. Missouri at Ole Miss, nothing to talk about in this game, right? No storylines. Just Austin Simmons going against his former team and the guy who took his job. Trinidad Chambliss out to show that he was the right Choice, which I think from my perspective, he was. It is the highest total on the slate.

44:53

Jamal Roberts just running over everybody. He could be in Nate Sheppard price territory, and I'd still look at him just based on how much they're running the ball. Caden Lee's probable now, and that means it's probably just going to be Simmons, Roberts, Lee, Aloubide on the Missouri side. Ole Miss' defense is still not great. I mean, Florida put up, what, fifty-some points on them. And then on the Ole Miss side, Trinidad Chambliss at $8,700. That doesn't scare me at all.

45:20

All right, all right, all right, all right. Kiwan Lacy was back last Week, and had they not just steamrolled Vanderbilt, may have gotten even more work than he did. I would imagine he's back to a full workload this Week, even with a tough matchup. I think Lacey's considerable. And then Deuce, clear alpha, a bit expensive. You can find ways to get there this Week if you want to.

45:44

And then, I mean, Jontae Cook's been starting, but that's about all you can say about him. After Alexander, it's really just Odom. Maybe you get to... No, I'll let you guys expand if you have anything beyond Alexander and Odom, but Ian... There's definitely some plays in this one. I think in all formats, cash included. Oh, yeah. I mean, Roberts has just been probably the best running back the last few weeks. Multiple two-and-a-yard games, touchdowns, just volume like crazy.

46:15

And he might be getting some relief on that. Hardy coming back from his incident, but – It's so hard to ignore what Missouri's offense has been doing. And Ole Miss defense hasn't been that impressive in these big games. I think it's worked out for both quarterbacks. Simmons getting his shot at Missouri. Chambliss obviously being at Ole Miss. And Simmons just keep pricing them lower and lower and lower. And we know where he's throwing the ball. Lee and Lube today. So super enticing double stack there.

46:49

I mean, I would probably play it as Simmons with both those guys or Roberts with Chambliss and Deuce on the other side, something like that. It gets really expensive for this game. Obviously, there's other pieces out there that can make this lineup work. I'm not dipping too deep into the Ole Miss side unless it's Deuce or Odom. I do think Lacey's interesting.

47:10

If you happen to get into that spot where you're in that $7,000 range and you're looking at running backs and You know, he's priced around the same price as, like, Shaquille Middlebrook and some of these other guys. And Lacey is... He was all American type guy and he's just coming back off injury.

47:26

They might try to ride him a little bit more this Week and wouldn't be surprised if this is kind of his bottom, bottom out price and OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership that we get for him for the rest of the season. So I wouldn't mind trying to get ahead of that for one Lacey might pop off. If you're not playing Chambliss or Deuce in the lineup, he's certainly enticing as a Bring-BackIn college football, a bring-back is usually a pass catcher or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back himself. Yeah, Lacey, I'm super like last Week. I mean, they beat Vanderbilt so bad.

47:54

It was like Ole Miss was like playing Troy or something like it was thirty five three at half, I think. So they didn't really need Lacey. He started at seven carries was fine, whatever. So I tend to lean that he'll have a bigger role here. So I'm like really intrigued by the spot. And then I remember how good Missouri's run defense has been. And it kind of scares me a little bit.

48:17

Um, I mean, Bothwell had a good game, but it was a lot of, you know, a lot of volume. He still wasn't overly efficient. Um, that being said, I'll probably still have some shares specifically in Missouri stacks. Um, love Trinidad. Like, I think that I'm like, I think I'm playing him over Levitt if I'm flipping, you know, in that range. Um, And then I don't think – like Deuce is just – he's so expensive. And then when you stack him with Trinidad, it's even worse.

48:44

Almost like Deuce is just like a run back. Like I don't even – I'm not even going to force the Deuce and Chambliss thing. Really the only receiver that I want to take a shot on is Odom, tight end that like I know is out there. The rest of these guys, it's just a jumbled mess. But, yeah, a lot of interest Ole Miss side, Missouri side.

49:05

So, I mean, how many extra fantasy points are Simmons and Lee going to score because it's a revenge game, right? Is that factored in? No, I'm just kidding. But it is an interesting spot. I almost like – I mean, you guys touched on everything. Like Jamal Roberts, obviously they just keep giving him the ball. I think he's – He's definitely my favorite like Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up running back. But Donovan Olobude, you say last Week, I think he's been over ten fantasy points every game this season.

49:32

I think it's a nice bounce back spot for him at like kind of a pivot over everything. That being said, really like the Missouri side. Simmons like that was definitely like the one you saw this Week that was sticker shock. But like do you play, do you feel like in a Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Read the full definition of Cash Game, Like, do you feel like you need to play Simmons with Lee or Olubude? Like, I feel like you kind of feel like you need to.

49:59

With him, I would with a guy, but he's also the same person as Marshall. Marshall could do it more with his legs. I wouldn't need to feel like I need to stack. Chambliss, I wouldn't feel like I need to stack. Simmons...

50:10

Think I would I think if you're looking to play lee or uh about it I think you do try to want to match up with Simmons just it's like you said it it's you know that's where he's throwing the ball and that's all he does he's gonna sit back there and throw a ball yeah yeah it's I mean if Simmons gets there like lee and eluba are gonna get him there right So you might as well pair one and go for that full ceiling.

50:43

Yeah. And you met a little bit is a really good pivot this Week because of the revenge factor, all focused on Lee and Lee's been the guy and he's been the guy and he's been the guy. Maybe this is the Week to do the little split and you save $2,000 almost. And like you said, Kenny, a little bit a with the zero last Week, he sucks now. Right. So yeah, no, I love the bounce back narrative almost as much as I love the revenge narrative.

51:06

So I could just going to have to pick one in that game, I guess. Moving on, Alabama, Tennessee, another decently big rivalry. Keelan Russell still has the upside at $8,500. The running back room, I mean, like it feels like it's going to be Treshawn Brown getting the work. It's still still a bit of a timeshare, and I personally think Crowell the best running back in the room.

51:29

He's my favorite one to watch anyway, because he breaks so many tackles and he's just a hard runner. The biggest news of this game, though, is Ryan Coleman Williams being out. That leaves Lazier Brooks and Rico Scott. Rico Scott at $4,500 kind of getting into that first click in territory with his potential price per dollar. Brooks and Scott are the two guys that have like they were already getting the attention with RCW on the field. It's just going to be funneled even more.

51:58

It feels like without him. And then on the Tennessee side, no phase on Brandon, it sounds like. So George McIntyre getting the start. Our third $4,600 quarterback on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. Again, not a Week that you need to get there, but semi intriguing. And then Deshaun Bishop, they might just lean on him with the quarterback situation the way it is. And an $1,000, you question it, get a little bit of pause.

52:23

But for his workload, I think you can still get there if you if you like. If you like him enough, and then Mike Matthews, Braylon Staley, really the two guys in this wide receiver room that, again, just question marks with McIntyre in this game. We'll start with you, Ian. What are you looking at in this game? Rico Scott screams cash play to me, but I know you've been high on Keelan Russell for a few weeks now. I think you were early to that party.

52:51

I'm actually going to step out and let you guys discuss this game, but we'll start with you, Ian. Yeah, I love Keelan Russell. The thing that, you know, as he's ascended his play, his running, his dual threat has gotten a little bit, his planned running, I should say, has gotten a little bit down. He's the guy that was Rushing, pushing a hundred yards early in the season, but now he's starting to figure out his passing game a little bit. And he's been fantastic.

53:13

You know, if they win that game last Week, if some bounces go their way, he's probably the second favorite for the Heisman right now. And they're sitting atop the rankings. Still think this is, you know, it's not a great spot for him. Just Tennessee plays on defense and they slow the game down. We've seen them in their bigger games just find a way to slow the game down, especially without Faison Brandon. I expect Tennessee to try to do that same play again.

53:37

I expect this to be a little bit more kind of like last Week with the Alabama-Georgia game where it's kind of in the mid-twenties on both sides, not really touching the fifty-point total that it is. Like Bill said, Bishop the only guy on the Tennessee side I could really think of, but at $8,000, just priced up way too much for a touchdown plus underdog. And he said, Rico Scott, let's hear Brooks.

54:00

If you want to pay down for the savings and if you end up having money later, Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up for Brooks. I love both those guys. With Ryan Coleman Williams out, Keelon's going to step back. He's going to pass the ball off and is going to run through him. Brooks and Scott are guys that are on the field, on the field the entire game. Super talented guys. Really love both those spots.

54:21

I would rank Scott ahead of Brooks in Min-CashA min-cash is the smallest prize in a contest, earned by finishing just inside the paid places. In tournaments it is usually a small multiple of the entry fee.Do not judge a tournament slate by how many lineups min-cashed. Track your top finishes, since that is where tournament profit actually comes from.Read the full definition of Min-Cash just because of the salary savings. But if you happen to find your way, I think that could be a pretty nice pivot little switch, playing Brooks ahead of Scott. I have a feeling Scott might be a little bit higher owned just because of his salary. But it could be interesting. I would totally agree with Bill that EJ Grohl is the best running back.

54:43

I think he'll take over by the end of the year. It's a little bit too muddled right now to play it. I love Keelan Russell. I don't think he's playable right now. I don't think this is the environment. I do kind of see this as a slugger game, but I do like the receivers in that room, and that's kind of all I'm touching here.

55:02

Yeah, I tend to agree that, like, this definitely isn't a very appetizing game compared to what else we have on the slate. I thought about McIntyre at .å››ty-six hundred. Like, that's awfully cheap. Like, especially it's like, do you play George McIntyre or, like, Quentin Joyner, just like looking on the screen here, or George McIntyre and Rico Scott. I don't know, it's kind of hard. When you put it like that, it's something to think about. That being said, I'm not gonna get there.

55:30

Deshaun Bishop, I'm gonna play some of him. I don't like the matchup, but I think that if Tennessee is gonna keep this game close, it's gonna be because they control the ball and really lean on Deshaun Bishop. So that's kind of the type of lineup that I'd play him in. Not anything else on the Tennessee side. Alabama side...

55:53

I mean I like a Russell and you know the receivers like you guys talked about one thing Rico Scott and RCW were dominating the snaps and then Brooks was third he was definitely like when they go run eleven personnel he's the guy coming in so I don't know if he's gonna be I'd assume that like twelve personnel he's gonna be in there but it wouldn't shock me if like maybe a Meadows or Rogers got like more snaps than him So that's kind of why I do prefer Rico Scott, just because I know he's out there all the time.

56:24

Obviously, I don't think he's as talented as RCW, but I think he's just fine. So yeah, not a lot on this game. Yeah, I mean, potentially it'll be another good real-life game. A lot's going to rest on George McIntyre and what he can do with his offense. I think Alabama's offense is going to be fine. They definitely take a hit, but they can manage. Arizona State at Texas Tech, definitely some talking points in this game.

56:47

Cutter Boley, I mean, fine at six, seven, but like the thing, like I imagine he'll be throwing a lot in this game and even Colorado almost three for three through for three hundred yards. So the potential is there. Part of that reason is because you just throw the ball to Reed Harrison and Marion Miller and you're set. Like that's what they've been doing all season. I imagine they're going to continue doing that in this game.

57:10

So at least in the passing game, we know where the usage is. Last last Week, though, Cardi Mack, a four star freshman and converted quarterback, got run in the running back room and exploded. Kyson Brown only has twelve carries over the last two games. So it seems like there's a shift in that running back room. He's sub $5,000. I just I mean, the matchup is something you definitely have to consider on a normal again on a different slate.

57:34

Maybe you go there, but you definitely have to think about what is it worth against Texas Tech, a team that I think I'd rather throw on than run on. And then Will Hammond is cheap as well. He's going to pop just because of the Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total, because of, you know, the advantage that Texas Tech has. Thomas Castellanos eligibility is still up in the air. So we think we're going to get full Hammond. The biggest news is Cameron Dickey being out.

58:00

So we're going to get a lot of Jacobs Williams at $6,700 as well. He's kind of getting into that first click in territory for running backs, too. And the one I think Williams is going to get his. But the other question is, is Quinton Joyner going to get the Cameron Dickey role right away? Is he going to fill that slot? That's not something we can necessarily answer.

58:22

If you do play him, just don't get him confused for his brother, Quintalen Joyner, who also plays for Texas Tech. And then in the wide receiver room, Kenny Johnson had a down game against Colorado. Coy Eakin had a down game as well. A big part of that is because Terrence Carter was back and had eight catches on nine targets. So the one thing about Kenny Johnson is that he still had the Target ShareIn college football, target share is the same percentage of team targets, but it is often far more concentrated: many offenses send a third or more of their throws to one receiver or tight end.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share. Coy Eakins' target share fell off.

58:43

So the wide receiver room, I do like Terrence Carter, Kenny Johnson some as well. Maybe the four hundred dollars makes a difference. Kenny, how are you approaching Arizona State, Texas Tech? I think obviously there's some cash plays, but how are you looking at it for GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP? I guess I'll start here. With Jacobs Williams is probably my favorite play on the slate. I'm going to be obscenely overweight on him. I think he's in his own tier as far as running back plays go this Week.

59:10

As many good running back plays as there is, Jacobs Williams to me just feels like an awesome spot. We've seen Texas Tech really focus on the run game when they're ahead in the game by quite a bit. I think Texas Tech blew out Arizona State. I don't think Arizona State's very good.

59:31

I love jacoby I also really like quentin Joyner I think that this is a good like $4,600 he's a super fair price I think I don't think it's a crazy GPP play to play them both and just hope like it wouldn't shock me if jacoby Williams and quentin Joyner combined for fifty fantasy points like um

59:48

And where their prices are that's totally fine um so gonna have my fair share joiner Hammond obviously the price tags there I just don't he's just not that runner he used to be that that you know kind of wild man back there um that being said I'll have some shares of mine like a Texas Tech Onslaught just because the wide receivers are so cheap I'm not going to go beyond those top two guys and Kenny Johnson and Terrence Carter but um Yeah, I love the Texas Tech side.

1:00:18

Arizona State, Reed Harris is the only guy I'm going to play as a Bring-BackIn college football, a bring-back is usually a pass catcher or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back with these Texas Tech guys. He's obviously got a big price tag, but it should come with super low OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership. Yeah, that's really pretty much it. And Jacobs Williams, $6,700 is just a smash. Yeah, I mean, that's a that's a cash play right there. You know, you said it not much as I'd be a little bit weird about anybody else in this game. Hammond is just not great.

1:00:49

Kenny Johnson is fine. He's pretty good salary relief, him and Terrence Carter. But Jacobs is probably enough. Great plays, just too expensive. That's GPP only to me, besides Jacobs. For cash, it's pretty straightforward in my opinion as well. North Carolina, Duke. Big rivalry game on the hardwood. Billy Edwards, cheap. His floor is safe at $5,000, I think. I think you can consider him if you need to go down that far. The running game, just too much of a timeshare.

1:01:28

Ben Hall does seem to be the number one, but we're going to see these other guys as well. So I'm not touching that wide receiver room. I I'm a sucker for Jordan ship like he needs a touchdown. He's got to get a touchdown one of these weeks. I imagine he would probably be $6,500 if he scored a touchdown this year. But he's projecting super well. Jelani Thurman is projecting pretty well as well. It's really those two guys.

1:01:54

I mean, Tretch has seen a little bit of an uptick. Sadler and Easter are capable of a spike game. But man, it feels like every Week we get the is Jordan ship even out there at some point during during a slate that North Carolina is on. So it'd be nice to see him actually actually find the end zone a Week that I'm probably going to play him again. On the other side, Duke, like why play Walker Egan when average is two hundred dollars cheaper?

1:02:19

I will say they threw the ball a ton last Week or last time out. And so I think there is a path if Duke does fall behind. And if that's the case, I mean, Hasley had ten targets. Jared Richardson got the score and a decent Target ShareIn college football, target share is the same percentage of team targets, but it is often far more concentrated: many offenses send a third or more of their throws to one receiver or tight end.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share.

1:02:32

Even Burton got plenty in the passing game, not usually a passing game we're interested in, but you think north Carolina is going to get out to an early lead maybe we see more nate shepherd I said earlier this season even if he's ten km playing him here we are $10,000 running back well warranted he is questionable on the report though um and unc gave up more than five yards of carry to clemson and notre dame haven't faced a ton of prolific running backs outside of that just is he questionable because of his workload so far this year?

1:03:05

Does that mean even if he goes, they're going to pull on the reins a little bit? These are questions that you're going to have to answer throughout your own process. If you want to play him, if he doesn't go, CJ Campbell a viable backup. I mean, he was a solid G six running back. Um, he's been, I want to see he's averaging like four and a half to five yards of carry when he does play this year.

1:03:23

And shepherd success is a lot of shepherd, but his offensive line has to play a part.

1:03:29

Um, yeah ian uh start with you in this north Carolina duke game a lower total than we're seeing across the slate but I think with pricing there's still some spots you could potentially get to yeah you know ship ship is reliable especially in Min-CashA min-cash is the smallest prize in a contest, earned by finishing just inside the paid places. In tournaments it is usually a small multiple of the entry fee.Do not judge a tournament slate by how many lineups min-cashed. Track your top finishes, since that is where tournament profit actually comes from.Read the full definition of Min-Cash he's pretty cheap he's pretty he just gets targets you know he's been that way for a few years and it hasn't changed this year and maybe VarianceIn CFB DFS, rushing quarterbacks can take touchdowns from productive running backs, while uneven matchups can send starters to the bench early. These factors can create wide scoring swings even when you correctly identify the stronger offense.Track results by contest type and slate, and review opportunity separately from touchdowns or other rare scoring events. Entering the same lineup in ten contests does not give you ten independent performance samples.Read the full definition of Variance on your side because if he gets one he's a smash play So I do like that.

1:03:58

It's just a hard game to kind of play out. Billy Edwards at $5,000 and a different slate would stand out. I just think, you know, it's just, I don't really need it right now, you know? And yeah, I think Shepard's a big question mark because the Shepard's in, how could you not? It's kind of a coin flip between him and Jeremiah.

1:04:18

If he's out, certainly opens up for Campbell again, but Campbell not like in that $4,000 range where I'd want to be like an auto plug and play because there's enough guys in the $6,000 range that I can still debate with and say like this guy or Campbell, like, like we said, Raphael or Campbell, they're not that far off in salary. Jacoby Williams is only $1,000 more than Campbell.

1:04:39

So even if shepherd is out, I wouldn't like automatically plug and play Campbell there in a Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Read the full definition of Cash Game. If shepherd is in, I do consider that and try to think about how you want to build that, whether you play him or Jeremiah Smith. It might be pretty hard to get them both together, though. You can do it. Even before all the Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. In DFS, it also affects opportunities for teammates and opponents. Before an uncertain player's game locks, identify an alternative you can afford at each affected position. Check whether making that change would require another player whose game starts earlier.Read the full definition of Injury News, I built one that wasn't pretty, but it was at least legitimate. It's possible.

1:05:05

And if Sheppard is out, I would be more in line to play a guy like Halsey or Richardson, maybe somewhere on the passing side of Duke. But it's not going to be a super big target game besides those couple guys we mentioned. Mm-hmm. Yeah, last Week I had a really big stance on Jordan Shipp, and, I mean, he was fine. But it's like he's the only guy that I can think has, like, a twelve-point floor and an eighteen-point ceiling, like the way this season has went.

1:05:31

Like, yeah, like you said, he has a strong touchdown. Like, I'm back in on Shipp. Like, Duke, I can't – I don't have all the stats in front of me, and I know Collin Dixon's really good, but just thinking of the type of performance he had against Duke, Last Week I really want to play Jordan Allen, but I got scared away of the weather and he had a really good game for Georgia Tech against Duke.

1:05:50

So like another great spot for Jordan ship. Jelani Thurman obviously been pretty dang solid too. I like him. I'll play some Billy Edwards, but it's going to have Nate Sheppard in the lineup. So Bill Belichick's like allure, wasn't it always like, we're going to take away your number one option. Are they going to be able to take away that shepherd? Because if they do Duke is not going to be able to do Jack shit.

1:06:13

I, um, but yeah, I, I don't, I think what Nate Sheppard, he like rolled his ankle, but finished the game last Week. I'm not overly concerned, but definitely a spot to watch. Um, hopefully we get some clarity tonight and he's just probable.

1:06:26

Um, but yeah I I don't mind I'm hazely but you know he's a tight end but beyond that on the duke side I don't like any of the pass catchers and you know hazely I like kind of want to stack him but I don't I don't really know who to stack him with like as far as like north Carolina run backs I I guess like a ship I don't know I almost confirm in a Game StackIn college football, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack but yeah it'll be interesting to see what happens love Jordan ship and yeah nate shepherd I mean Yeah, Nate Sheppard or Jeremiah this Week, I don't know.

1:06:59

It's something about Nate Sheppard being $10,000 instead of $9,000 nine hundred. I don't know. Yeah, right. It's that threshold. I mean, we had the same conversation around Caleb Hawkins last year, and I think he went for forty five points. So, yeah. And, you know, if Jordan Shipp scores a touchdown or two, maybe we just it's going to be Shipp at Nation with two peas this Week. He'll bring your line to the top.

1:07:20

He should be our favorite player, right, is our name. Right.

1:07:24

Uh double tech game georgia tech at virginia tech uh georgia tech coming off its first fbs win of the year uh the aforementioned duke blue devils that game was was hideous uh unless you're trillane maddox if you're trillane maddox it was a great game and now justice haynes is doubtful I think a lot of eyes are going to be on maddox but does that mean the pivot is in this passing game alberto mendoza is also cheap Jordan allen Ten catches on eleven targets last Week, showing why he's the alpha.

1:07:51

I still love me some Kevin Roach because he's a ginormous tight end, big red zone target, and he's athletic. On the Virginia Tech side, one of the higher Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. Ethan Grunkemeier's prop, I believe, is over three hundred yards at $7,000. It's hard to imagine he gets overlooked, but just with the way the slate works out, he might. And he has one of the higher ceilings, in my opinion. Jeffrey Overton.

1:08:16

One of those first guy ends averaging nearly twenty touches a game for targets in every FBS game and $6,500 very friendly. Marcel's Hawkins a bit too expensive, although I feel like he could hit double digits. And if he gets the touchdown VarianceIn CFB DFS, rushing quarterbacks can take touchdowns from productive running backs, while uneven matchups can send starters to the bench early. And then in the wide receiver room, it's basically Reynolds and Brown. I know it's a high heat is going to be back and he's been price, but that's that's like an extreme dart throw.

1:08:39

It really has been Reynolds and Brown in like a couple of cash plays in this game for sure. Maybe Maybe three or four, just looking at it. How are you approaching the Tech game? I love the Tech game. I'll start with Virginia Tech side. One of the guys, I think we mentioned a couple of running backs. Jeff Overton, one of my favorite running back plays of the slate. You talk about mid-$6,000. He's going to touch the ball. He catches the ball.

1:09:05

He runs the ball. A ten-point favorite, a thirty-three-point team total. What's not to like about Overton as a running back player there? Really think he's in a really good spot here. And again, it's what you're talking about. So Maddox, yeah, great spot. He's going to get the workload carry. He's a ten-point underdog. He's five-four, so for a backup running back, he's not like in the four Ks.

1:09:27

He's only $1,000 less than Overton, who is a proven commodity as an alpha running back. As a ten-point favorite, so like the total opposite Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. So where Maddox might get the attention because it's the new backup or the new backup running back coming to the starting play, I just like to flip the other side and be like, I love Overton in this spot. I love Gronkmaier. You mentioned him. He's got so much upside as well. You know, they actually hit their team total.

1:09:57

That's... Five touchdowns. Where are those touchdowns going to come from? It's going to come from Overton. It's going to come from Gronk. It's probably going to go to Case O'Brown and Luke Reynolds because that's where it's gone all year. Really predictable. Virginia Tech side. Really, really love this spot. Awful. Double stack, single stack. Play the running back only. I think you could even play four in a lineup. Certainly not Cash. I think you can pick and choose Cash, but wouldn't mind it.

1:10:21

You mentioned Allen on the other side. Georgia Tech. I do think Albert Mendoza is pretty interesting because I think that would be your PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. 1:10:35

He has some running ability, and just to put up some points, if he ends up throwing the ball from behind, they threw the ball a ton last Week, he'd really allow you to Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up if you were trying to get to something like Sheppard or Jeremiah Smith. Yeah, and if you look at it, is Virginia Tech just Missouri dressed up as the worst football team? The way the usage funnels, it's very similar.

1:10:59

I mean, there's an extra running back that gets a little bit more run, but the usage is pretty clear. Good, good, good comparison. Yeah, I mean, I have the interest that you guys do. It's kind of cool, like the top three running backs are all from a tech school this Week. So if you just build a lineup with everybody from a tech school, you should have a pretty good lineup. So yeah, I guess the thing I wanted, and you kind of touched on it, Ian.

1:11:29

Initially, I didn't have Mendoza in my pool, and I kind of got to looking at it. And Virginia Tech has been a little susceptible to Rushing quarterbacks. Not like Mendoza's running a ton, but with Hayes out, Hosley's been out. Maybe we see him run a little more at $5,300. I don't mind taking the shot in this kind of game environment, especially as just a straight pivot to Maddox. Like some Jordan Allen Roche, I'm deciding on Pinson.

1:11:54

I'm not really interested in, but I do have like some interest in Georgia Tech passing a little bit. Um, yeah. And then Virginia tech really don't need to add on to anymore, but I will say the way that Overton fails is if, I mean, he's not really a, I mean, he had a lot of carries against Boston college, but that game was a total washout. Um, He doesn't get his twenty carries and doesn't get all the touchdowns just because he is splitting with Hawkins.

1:12:18

I think he's a great player. I'm going to play a ton, but that is where he fails as to where Maddox fails with Mendoza. That's circling back to Jacobs. That's why I feel like Jacobs at a tier of his own. I like this game. You guys covered it pretty well. Like I said, that's the one spot where Virginia Tech's structure differs from Missouri.

1:12:39

It's just that Hawkins does get pretty involved like there's a chance he has double digit DK points in this one looking at this last game I don't think we need to spend a whole lot of time on it Penn State at Michigan State or at Michigan Rocco Beck is cheap back to a price that we're used to seeing at Iowa State but just not a great matchup we have a three-headed running back attack I mean they can't decide if they want Carson Hansen or James Peoples to be the guy it has been it was Peoples then it was Hansen Quentin Martin still gets involved enough.

1:13:15

The wide receivers, Sol has been unleashed as the alpha a little bit more, but he's expensive and just this slate, I don't need to go there. Eskilsen. Rapelia has been the better of the two tight ends if you want dip and dunk short passes. He's got like ten point upside just on receptions alone. So if you want to get real greasy, that's probably where I'd attack.

1:13:37

On the Michigan side, Bryce Underwood, I guess he can get there with his legs, but You got to wonder if he's still on bench watch. Tommy Carr is looming. It hasn't been as much of a talker lately. I do want to attack Penn State on the ground. Marshall and Hyder are both on my radar. Those are maybe my favorite plays in this game overall. But man, they just have not been able to get it going. Marshall had a touchdown against Minnesota.

1:14:08

I know that's a different matchup than Penn State. But they split. Maybe you go Hyder because he's cheaper. Maybe he finally hits his hype that he's the potential that he has. And the pass catchers remain the same. If you're playing a pass catcher, it's Buchanan or Marsh. Ian, this is a cash nightmare, right? I'm not touching this game. It's like you said, Tommy Carr could take over Underwood. You got a split backfield.

1:14:36

Yeah, receivers who are pretty good, but I mean, they're kind of priced up and I'm not touching the Penn State side. One of the lower Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total on the slate. With all the games that we've talked about, these are two marquee programs. Give me all the other games. Give me the game before ten times out of ten. Well, I have some interest in Michigan. I figured you would. Of course you do. There's no surprise there.

1:15:01

So this is the other game where it's the stoppable force versus the movable object. Michigan's run game. So I don't know why I got into this so much this morning. So Jordan Marshall, like he should be set at like minus two hundred for eleven carries, because that's exactly what he has had every game this year. Besides one, we had ten. So like, do you do am I paying sixty nine dollars for eleven carries? Absolutely not. Hiders game logs haven't looked good.

1:15:31

I don't think I'm going to get there, but I like the angle of attack to attack this Penn State Rushing defense. Northwestern ran for four hundred and twenty two yards against Penn State. Like that's that. And it seemed like every time you looked up, Hyman was running for twenty five plus. Like it was insane. And is that Kelly or is that Penn State? Legitimate question. Yeah, I mean, I think a mix of both. But because Northwestern ran all over Indiana also.

1:15:59

Right, right. Well, and I mean, yeah, they Yeah, Penn State's just, you know, they had that opening part of the season with, like, all the max goals, and their defense looked good, and they get to pick their play, and it hasn't been. But, yeah, I guess long-winded way of saying have some interest in Hyder. So the receivers for Michigan, if you look at their target leaders, it's Buchanan, thirty-nine, Marsh, thirty-eight. I think it's Hogan Hanson's the next guy with six targets.

1:16:27

That is an insane Target ShareIn college football, target share is the same percentage of team targets, but it is often far more concentrated: many offenses send a third or more of their throws to one receiver or tight end.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. 1:16:33

I think I I love Buchanan and some marsh this Week usc torched them through the air to no kinds had a great game Mosley had a great game um I I have some interest in the michigan receivers like Underwood's probably my least favorite play but I'm naturally just gonna play him because I like the michigan receivers but yeah, I don't, I mean, but like I said, I mean, Michigan has definitely been the stoppable force. So what's going to prevail here.

1:16:59

I definitely have some interest in Michigan though. Yeah. It's a gross looking game, but I, like I said, I knew that there'd be some GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. And it's not even that gross. Like you mentioned the targets there. It's like, so a decent spot for those guys. Uh, that's going to do it for the slate.

1:17:18

Um, I know we're pushing up on lunch breaks ending, so if either of you guys need to get out of here at any point, we're going to get to some questions that were asked. This one talks about DKGPP tournaments. Which ones do you have the best success? What are your favorite ones to play in? I think this is relevant this Week because we have $100,000 up top, a contest we're not used to seeing. So for me, I have a ton of GPP.

1:17:46

I get into Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. I'll enter once in a while into the flagship, but not, I don't usually max it. So probably not. It's probably negative EV for me, but you know, sometimes I get FOMO and just have to throw a dart once in a while. But generally speaking, I followed the big guy's rule of thumb. My favorite contests are the one that have. Ten percent of the pool up top, fifty percent a second or fifty percent of first to second.

1:18:13

Ten percent of first to tenth and that way it's flatter payouts like in the contest this weekend it's a third to first awesome $100,000 up top you could hit the nuts lineup and still lose by two points get fourth place and drop from a hundred thousand to $5,000 not that $5,000 is anything to scoff at but that's a massive drop off and that's what you get in a lot of these 150-MaxA 150-max DFS contest allows you to submit up to 150 entries into that contest, paying the entry fee for each. Max entering means using every allowed entry, whether the contest limit is 150 or a smaller number.Multiply the entry fee by your planned entry count before building. If you cannot justify additional lineups on their own merits, leave the remaining entries unused.Read the full definition of 150-Max So I prefer single entry just because of the Top-Heavy PayoutsA top-heavy payout structure gives a large share of a contest's prize pool to the top few finishers, leaving smaller prizes for everyone else who cashes.Read the payout table, not just the prize pool. The share of prizes that goes to first place should decide how much risk your lineup takes.Read the full definition of Top-Heavy Payouts structure.

1:18:41

Kenny, I know you play GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP a lot more. Ian, you've dabbled a little bit this year and had some success. What do you guys feel about this? Yeah, I'll talk real quick. Then I have to get out of here because I know Kenny's got a lot of the GPP knowledge experience. This year, I've been doing a little bit more than one fifty bills in the five dollar. It's a little bit flatter payout. I just kind of been enjoying.

1:18:59

More of a GPP build just because I typically play lower entry, higher dollar amounts with single entry three maxes when they have the higher dollar tournaments. I jump into those, but I feel like I've been kind of, you know, with the cash trains and everything kind of coming out, I've just been trying to find new ways to dabble. And I've just been, like the one fifty maxes.

1:19:22

So I stick to that five dollars just because the flatter payout, like you mentioned, Bill, just so I'm not like burning through my Bankroll ManagementBankroll management is how you size your DFS spending relative to the money you have set aside to play, called your bankroll, so normal losing streaks do not wipe you out.Write down your per-slate limit before the season starts. Spending rules are much easier to keep when you set them before a losing streak, not during one.Read the full definition of Bankroll Management the entire time trying to chase it because I still am doing some of the smaller entry ones, which is ultimately I like the Three-MaxA three-max contest lets each user enter up to three lineups. It is a small step up from single-entry.Give each of your three lineups a clear role. Make sure they differ in at least one major decision, like the main stack or the most expensive player.Read the full definition of Three-Max or less because then I'm hand building. I'm trying to mix and match some games, some stacks, just in that way.

1:19:46

So a little bit of exploration just into that, just kind of trying to mix and match some different ways of building, just building some different strategies, different ways to attack based on slate to slate. But, yeah, I'm going to have to get out of here anyway and let the GPP master, Mr. Hamwich, there talk about that. All right. Cheers, Ian. Go educate some young minds. You guys have a great weekend. Good luck to Saturday. All right. Cheers.

1:20:18

You know, obviously I play usually like, so, I mean, comparative to NFL, NFL, there's such a wide selection of contests and like the contests are never going to be as good for college. You know, I guess bankroll aside, like I always thought the forty four dollar, like the marching band, it's like a six max. It's usually like $5,000 to first.

1:20:38

Um, it's great if you're like hand building and like want to run different stacks around, which usually I do a hundred and fifty set, and then I'll play like five to eight lineups, um, through contests and just like work different stacks together. Um, You know, and they're not lineups that are necessarily like going to be like the GPP gross stuff, but like, it'll be just like a simple pivot.

1:20:59

Um, you know, like this Week, like one I could think of is like, marshall's probably going to be a little more played than avery so play avery and then I want to play dylan Edwards and I like that matchup better anyways um and then leave just leave marshall just little pivots like that and that forty four dollar works nice but that that'd be my favorite one overall as far as structure and you know building goes yeah and and uh kenny also had a follow-up question whether we mostly hand build or use SaberSim to help make the lineups or, I mean, for this question, we can just talk in general OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. It uses projected fantasy points, your settings and, in some tools, simulations to select combinations for a chosen goal.Build a small test batch first. Check which players and combinations repeat, and investigate why before increasing the lineup count or changing settings.Read the full definition of Optimizer of Choice.

1:21:35

You know, we have SaberSim. I love SaberSim. I'm still weaning myself off of the previously used OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. It uses projected fantasy points, your settings and, in some tools, simulations to select combinations for a chosen goal.Build a small test batch first. Check which players and combinations repeat, and investigate why before increasing the lineup count or changing settings.Read the full definition of Optimizer. So I kind of dabble in both. For my purposes, I typically will run on an optimizer and see what it's spitting out and then hand build from there because I'm usually only building like one to five lineups. So for one fifty, I presume you use an optimizer quite a bit.

1:21:57

But what what kind of hand building do you just set rules or do you supplement with hand building on top of the optimized optimization? I mean, yeah, it's almost like two separate things for me. Like I like I'll build my hundred and fifty set with the optimizer. I don't really factor that into my hand builds. I would say one thing like the stone to point out. The way that you can work lineups in there, like that's really good for hand building.

1:22:22

Cause you can kind of like lock your sack in that's lower owned and then like click optimize. Like if I already have a couple of different pieces, then I'm okay to pay the best pieces or however that, you know, shakes out. But that, I would say the Stone 2.0 point now is like really good for hand building. Um, just to kind of see like, you know, rather than a bunch of scrolling, you know, you go lock in a stack, go from there.

1:22:44

Um, but that's kind of like how I build like, I'll just, um, yeah. I pulled up the Stone 2.0 point over NFL just because our our college football one's not set yet. But yeah, it's it basically just puts the stone into spreadsheet and column form. So it's sortable. Once we have cash players marked, you can filter by cash high upside GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP. If you want to target specific games, you can target specific types of games, specific teams.

1:23:12

And then, I mean, you can also build a lineup and save it. There's a star up here somewhere. And it goes into these save lineups. I think you can do up to twenty, but then you can export and upload. So it's it's great for twenty maxing. There's certainly uses, but it's just it's simplicity at its best. It keeps everything really simple, puts all the relevant information right in front of you. Something we added new to Ship It Nation this year.

1:23:36

And I think it's just a super good tool to help build lineups without. And it's it's not for those that haven't used optimizers. It's definitely not as intimidating as like a SaberSim or even like our previous part of the solver, like Those things are, like, they can be daunting when you just look at them as a new user. The Stone 2.0 point O is super simple. In terms of this, how many guys do we have in our pool for college football?

1:24:02

Typically, like, again, I don't want fifty max. When I Twenty-MaxA twenty-max contest lets each user enter up to 20 lineups. It sits between small-field formats like three-max and the largest 150-entry tournaments.Plan all 20 lineups before building any of them. Decide your stacks and exposure limits first, so the set works as a portfolio rather than 20 separate guesses.Read the full definition of Twenty-Max, I typically like to keep it to, like, three to five quarterbacks and keep my player pool super tight. Like, I want to build, if I'm playing, especially in higher entry tournaments, I want to build to win the thing, not necessarily to dupe. And split or Min-CashA min-cash is the smallest prize in a contest, earned by finishing just inside the paid places. In tournaments it is usually a small multiple of the entry fee.Do not judge a tournament slate by how many lineups min-cashed. Track your top finishes, since that is where tournament profit actually comes from.Read the full definition of Min-Cash every lineup. Um, so I'm, I'm looking to get to the top.

1:24:26

So it's not necessarily a certain number of guys it's Week to Week, but, um, usually three to five quarterbacks, a handful of running backs. And then I like pairing pass catchers when applicable. So that'll vary even more like is, are my quarterbacks guys that I want to pair or are they guys that I like for their legs? Um, so it's a really variable question Week to Week. Kenny, how do you feel about it in the one fifties?

1:24:48

Um, I guess for me like it's usually bigger like I think this Week I've got it usually I'm not ahead of the game this Week but I am but I think I'm like at sixty eight players but like a lot of times like I'll have like two percent of a receiver that's forced in a stack like Nick McMillan I'll play like three percent of him this Week only in Marshall you know so I'm not playing that many lineups with guys like that so my player pool gets bigger but in a way I'm playing them is like to unlock their ceiling.

1:25:15

So I don't feel like I need to have such an abundance of players per se. But yeah, as far as uniques go, like that's kind of a dangerous game. I'll do, I do two on like main slate, but like if it's three games or less, I'm only one unique. Yeah. Yeah. And the Slate SizeSlate size is the number of games or matchups included in a DFS contest's schedule. In sports built around one event, it can instead describe the number of eligible competitors; it does not mean the number of contest entries. Before building, count the credible alternatives at each position. A slate with plenty of games can still leave you with very few appealing choices at one position.Read the full definition of Slate Size definitely matters. You know, last night you just play Texas state and move on.

1:25:40

Like I think the optimal might've been, quarterback and two Texas state running backs with no wide receiver um yeah that was a little frustrating but then uh just one more one more this is about tonight I actually misread this question earlier and pull it up any dart throws below $4,000 for tonight's three game slate um I mean like chamar Harris and robbie Washington are exactly that like their dart throws those are the two guys that popped um there's a couple of guys right at $4,000 that I don't mind is it Burhan?

1:26:14

Is he flat $4,000 flat? I don't know. Uh, but I did want, Oh, topic is the guy that I was thinking of at $4,000 flat. Uh, but in terms of tonight's slate, I, if, if he's going to be low on, I'm going to be all over Jamari McClure for Tulane. Uh, Memphis has run defense sucks. McClure was back last Week, um, and had some decent run in the, Like, everything I've seen is like, oh, this just adds a new dynamic.

1:26:41

He's been hurt this year. But McClure is my tip of the day, I guess, for Friday night slate. I'm going to be playing him. He's not going to save you money, but I think he's going to be LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage just because he hasn't played much this year. But I think he could ascend to RB one tonight, and I want to be ahead of that curve for Tulane. Yeah, that's – I've thought about that myself.

1:27:02

I don't – a little scary like I wish he was a little cheaper oh for sure absolutely no but he should not have much OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership yeah honestly I haven't really dug into tonight that much but um you know and even above $4,000 it's pretty or below $4,000 gets pretty gross but um you know I don't know I there's gosh I wish I'd looked on the slate a little more so I give you a better answer I don't mind like a coastal Carolina just like the gardeners and english's of the world um just kind of looking at it but I've really got to build a ton I will say my probably biggest stand tonight is like Washington doubles with roebuck and proceed and

1:27:43

Lawson and even one of the two tight ends um yeah did they improve a quarterback have you seen the passing game like you know I didn't didn't watch that game as much um I mean the first half I didn't even bottom he was dominating but I mean if you if you're box score watching it definitely looked that way yeah for sure but yeah uh nice uh we can wrap it up there I I love talking shop talking contests talking builds all that stuff so I appreciate the questions uh even a little bonus Friday night coverage but we are going to end the show the same way we do every single Week.

1:28:20

Big guys rule number one, college football is fun. Enjoy building your lineups. Enjoy the sweat. Enjoy the process. Be thankful that we have college football to watch on our TVs. Hopefully we see those lineups climb to the top, but if they don't, we at least have an entertaining product every single Week in front of us. But most of all, don't take any of these days for granted because we never know which one's going to be our last.

1:28:39

But with that, For my man Kenny, for Ian, I'm Dollar Bill. We're going to wrap up this Ship It Nation College Football Show. Let's go out onto the streets this weekend and ship one for the big guy.
