Patriots vs Bears NFL DFS Showdown | TNF Week 7 Showdown Shippers | Picks, Plays & Process

Aired Thu Oct 22, 2026 Runtime 54:58 Chapters 14 Views 2,402

The Short Version

Tyler Tamboline and Hoop break down Patriots at Bears as a potential shootout with plenty of captain options. A.J. Brown ($9,000) is the strongest captain call: last week's drops do not erase his opportunity, and Romeo Doubs being out strengthens it. D'Andre Swift leads the running backs without Kyle Monangai, with Roschon Johnson's previous workload largely attributed to a blowout. Both quarterbacks offer rushing upside and strong flex floors.

Colston Loveland ($6,400) offers captain upside at an affordable price, especially if his captain ownership stays near five percent. Rome Odunze supplies leverage as attention goes toward Chicago's other weapons. Cheap receivers and tight ends take precedence over Corey Kiner, whose eleven carries included eight on the closing drive. Build around coherent game scripts, consider five-one constructions and double kickers, and differentiate through supporting pieces rather than forcing an obscure captain.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
CAPTAIN The top captain choice despite last week's drops, with a favorable matchup and additional opportunity available without Romeo Doubs. 13:29
CAPTAIN Worth captain exposure through passing and rushing upside, including his recent multiple-rushing-touchdown ceiling. 14:24
CAPTAIN Worth captain exposure after an excellent return, with cheap receiving combinations available when he spreads production around. 14:24
CAPTAIN A lower-owned captain option who still receives opportunity despite being behind Chicago's other weapons in popularity. 15:47
CORE A major lineup priority with unchanged talent and an opportunity to go overweight after a poor return game. 16:20
CAPTAIN A leading captain option, with the ordering versus the quarterbacks split but strong interest in his workload without Kyle Monangai. 17:04
CAPTAIN A captain leverage option when moving away from the quarterbacks, A.J. Brown and Swift. 22:09
CAPTAIN His affordable salary opens up the lineup while retaining slate-breaking upside, particularly if captain ownership stays around five percent. 23:29
CORE A frequent flex pairing with receiving captains, offering a strong floor and rushing production. 25:09
CORE A frequent flex pairing with Chicago receiving captains, with a strong floor and rushing upside. 25:09
Still in the pool but well behind Swift, since last week's work largely came in a blowout; his $3,600 FanDuel salary is more appealing. 28:44
CORE The main running back to build around, with far more interest than in the alternatives and little concern about last week's blowout-driven split. 30:41
VALUE A $1,400 salary-saving option rather than a major endorsement, with cheap pass catchers preferred and eight of his eleven carries coming on the closing drive. 32:22
Floated as a different lineup piece, but Kmet, Raridon and Kyle Williams were more appealing in that price range. 32:38
LEVERAGE Appealing in large-field GPPs because his awkward salary and Chicago's other popular weapons can push ownership down, especially on FanDuel. 34:45
VALUE A cheap receiving option preferred over the Patriots running-back punts, particularly in builds where Maye spreads the ball around. 34:45
VALUE An inexpensive receiving option who fits Maye captain builds, with a $2,800 DraftKings flex salary between the cheapest tight ends and other receivers. 35:19
An acceptable $3,400 option despite limited production last week, without a stronger endorsement. 35:19
FADE The expensive Patriots backfield is the position to avoid with three backs involved; Kiner's inclusion was framed primarily as a fade of Stevenson and Henderson. 36:14
FADE Avoid paying for his production in a three-back committee, with cheap pass catchers preferred over this backfield. 36:14
LEVERAGE Pairing him with Odunze instead of Burden differentiates Caleb Williams captain builds, with the appeal tied to that specific construction. 36:59
VALUE Too cheap for his receiving and touchdown upside, with last week's production viewed as a more reasonable expectation going forward. 39:45
VALUE A cheap touchdown option who is on the field in key spots and fits Caleb Williams captain builds. 40:10
VALUE Cheap access to regular targets and red-zone looks, particularly alongside Maye at captain. 40:34
Has a projection and a possible path, but the other tight ends received the meaningful attention for smaller lineup sets. 45:05
The preferred kicker if choosing one, with modest overweight exposure and some double-kicker builds planned. 46:54
Remains in the pool for modest overweight exposure and double-kicker builds, though Chicago's aggressive offense tempers enthusiasm. 46:54
VALUE Especially cheap on FanDuel at $4,400, with Romeo Doubs out of the receiving group. 50:18
VALUE Benefits from Romeo Doubs being out and is particularly appealing at $5,800 on FanDuel, below his DraftKings salary. 50:18

Hoopster. We got, uh, you know, two really good teams. We've got a big team, a big total. We've got a pretty close spread. There is a little bit of Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. There's a couple little things here and there, but for the most part, man, this should be a really good spot. We say that all the time, but I like this one. I'll get to it more in a minute. How you doing, my friend? And give us your first thoughts here.

1:16

Yeah, fun game. I mean, exciting game to really kick off week, where are we? Week seven. I mean, it's, you know, the big total, like you said, you have two quarterbacks that can get the ball down the field, two offenses that have kind of Ben rolling a little bit. Caleb Williams look phenomenal coming back from injury. Very effective, very accurate. So all his past catchers become even more appealing with him back in the mix. Drake May got A.J. Brown back and A.J.

1:43

Brown was an absolute disaster last week. And I think that's an interesting talking point for this showdown slate as well. You have running backs, multiple running backs on both sides that we'll be talking about. So very well-rounded, fun showdown slate to kick off week seven. Yeah, that's what I like about it. You said a few things there, but you know, the, the way it always gets spread on a captain, we say, but some of these slates, not so much.

2:06

We've seen like the Bijan slates, the Gibbs slates, the ones where it's a little bit more heavy on one guy or a couple of positions. This is, you know, Drake may pick a running back. If you want AJ Brown, if you want to pick some of the cheaper guys, Hunter Henry, Other side, you got Burden, Odunze, Caleb, Swift with Domanungai, Loveland. There's a lot of different captain options on this slate. So I think that makes it exciting.

2:27

And then if you do get that back and forth game going down the stretch, it can be quite a bit of fun as well. We'll let some people file in. Definitely some good news, you know, off the top. Those Chig prop overs. Thanks, Hoop. That was all you said in the first quarter. I think he had twenty nine. First catch, yeah.

2:43

I was somewhat tilted, because I don't know if you recall, I was watching the game, and it was the first catch went for like, I think it was like, twenty-five yards, but then they had determined that he stepped out of bounds, and they brought it back like, five, so it only was, I think, ended up being like, a nineteen-yard catch, I believe. About a hundred percent sure on that, but I was like, Oh, man.

3:00

Like, if he goose eggs us the rest of the way. But, man, that was, like, easy. No sweat. Like, you could tell he was going to be heavily involved. We'll see if we can find another one tonight. Or an injury, too, I'll say. Because a lot of people were like, oh, obviously. It was over before that. It happened before that. It was over before that. It was happening no matter what. That was an absolute lock. I wish I would have bet more.

3:20

Obviously, in hindsight, whenever you have a free bet that you feel confident about, you always want to go heavier than you did. Yeah. When the title threw out that number, like, twenty-one, I was like, man, that's like, that was just so appealing. So appealing. That was good. We got our guy Raridon on the slate tonight. We'll get to him as well. Before we get into it, I want to just remind everybody to head over to ShibitNation.com. So, news in the Shibit Nation streets.

3:44

We finally upgraded our site from $2,000 twenty to $2,000 twenty six. So. We haven't been around that long, obviously just under four years now since Hoop and I launched this thing, but we're excited about this. We've got a new website. You can see it there. My yapping ass over there talking about what we got going on. If you want to check it out, if you want to see everything that we offer, it's all there.

4:03

All of the breakdowns, you can meet the team, see the testimonials. All of the prices are a little bit broken out. If you're unsure what plan for you, now you can just take a sixty second quiz. It does not take long at all. I play NFL and PGA. I play both about equally. I play GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. 4:25

Shout out to our guy in the past, Double D. And I just want to pay monthly. I'm just trying it out. Boom. Here's a plan. See the plan details. All right. You can go in and check that out. If you want to check out anything in depth, You can go further down and just see exactly what we offer with all of our plans, or you can go in and see by single sport now. So brought it up to the new century.

4:45

We've got some new pages as well. If you click shows at the top and latest shows, you can go in and actually dissect everything. Let's say you didn't have a chance to watch the MMA show. And I'm like, man, I just want to, I would just want to hear about the Volkanovski fight. Okay. Boom. It pops it up with one click. You're right there where they're talking about it. You're like, ah, I'm sleeping. I'm in bed. My wife's asleep. I'm just trying.

5:07

I'm not trying to put that headphones on right now. Do all this shit. I just want to know what they said about this part. Okay, great. You can go right down here. Click it. Let me just read it instead. I'm going to find all that stuff out. So there's tons of stuff you can do there. If you go to the articles page, all free, by the way, on shipmentnation.com. If you go check this out, you can sort it by sport, by topic.

5:26

You can look it up, go through all of our free articles, our courses, all that stuff is free. And then we're going to use this hoop for right now. So I'll give it a second. But if you go as a member and you're an NFL member, it's now sorted easily on mobile for navigation, but also online, like just like this. It's what do you, I always wanted this way. So this is what I love. It's like, are you, what sport? All right.

All right. Now what do I want to use? I'll show you a trick in a second, but I want to use the stone, right? So let's say I've got up or I want to check the ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. I'm on the projections under NFL showdown, but it also comes up that's selected that you can just siphon through. All right. Well, I want to check out the stone now. Cool. That pops up.

6:12

Well, actually I want to use the interactive Stone 2.0 point O and be able to hand build my lineups and save them right here with all the details.

6:20

Perfect oh but what did hoop say in the Slate Station and it's not up yet but just to give an example it is actually some of it's there and could change but just to show you it's even tabs within the tab so who pretty cool update to the site obviously all the other stuff people know and expect but any any comments from you there just on everything you've seen so far Yeah, it's just smooth and just easier to use. And that's the main thing.

6:40

When you go to a website, you don't want to be having to dig all over the place to find what you want. This is right there. Easy. Can't really mess it up. So that's my sort of improvement. Easy, simple to use. And a lot of times you get to a website and stuff's hidden. If you're going to a website, you should be able to find this stuff pretty easily, especially if it's a common, popular thing. This is much more user-friendly.

7:06

Yeah, a hundred percent mobile friendly too. We're still giving away $50,000 in guaranteed cash and prizes. So before we get to the Michigan comment, I will just note on this one too. Big week this week. So if you want to check out the new site and get in every single all access or NFL only member is eligible. You can get into the NFL only plan for less than two bucks a day. You just go to the site, go under single sport NFL.

7:27

But this week in the Golden shipper, contest it's in the Discord you got to be a member you get in the Discord it's pinned if you're a member get in there for sure because our guy rick ten coming off of a $75,000 win he's giving away on top of the three Golden shippet tickets the the first place winner of the Golden shipper this week will get a fifteen hundred dollar ticket to next weekend's mid-season main event on DraftKings, the fifteen hundred dollar buy in with one point five million dollars to first.

7:58

Rick also got himself into the week sixteen bonus contest with a winner circle win over $5,000. So congrats to him. So all the winners up to this point, we've got eighteen so far at the end of the season. The winner will receive $12,000 in cash. Go ahead, Hoop. I know you had a good one there. Allen, what do you say? Yeah, he nailed it. The weather has been really nice in Michigan.

8:20

I cut the grass this morning, and it's looking good. It's like this is the time of year things start to die, but the lawn's still looking strong. So I did want to touch on that before we move on and get to the important stuff for today's SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. Yeah, we'll hop right into it. Let's get, as usual, your grand scheme overview. We talked about a little bit off the top, at least about these two teams and how they play. You know, both quarterbacks can chuck it.

8:43

You know, Chicago could give up the long ball. You've got Drake May who could run it. Caleb Williams can run it. No Monangai, no Doubs, lots of options. What's sort of your thoughts of how this game actually plays out here tonight? Big total, you know, close spread. But what do you see happening in this one? Or how are you going to think about this when you're first building?

9:01

Yeah, I mean, I think, you know, a lot of people are going to look at this and assume we have a high scoring game that back and forth offense. And that's kind of what I'm thinking here. I mean, you have the Bears, their offense looked amazing against the Falcons last week. And, you know, the Falcons haven't been a complete shitty team. Like they were legit and their defensive looked pretty good before last week. And Chicago just rolled right through them.

9:26

I just think Ben Johnson is an absolute genius on offense. And I, You know, I think they're almost matchup proof where they're going to be able to score against anyone. So I think this is going to be a high scoring game. And as we saw last week with the Bears, like they'll let teams right back in it. I mean, they were absolutely murdering the Falcons. And then before you know it, two touchdowns quick and then it's a one score game.

9:51

It's kind of what you want when you're building for an offensive shootout sort of game, and I think that's the case tonight. And the nice thing is both offenses, there's a lot of – more so on the Bears side, a lot of different ways it can go. We'll talk about the Patriots side because it's probably a little more condensed, a little fewer options, less options in terms of who you think can be the ceiling performer.

10:13

But, you know, I'm building this like it's going to be a shootout. I'm excited for this game. You know, the Patriots looked like, you know – The Patriots got past their early season struggles. I mean, week one, week two, they looked awful. They've turned it around. So, I mean, it's probably just a little rust from not really giving it the full go in the preseason. But they're a very capable offense. And Drake Mays looked great the last couple weeks. And he's got A.J.

10:37

Brown back. And I think A.J. Brown is a very important talking point. On this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate that we'll get to. And I'm sure we're going to touch on when we get to captain. We're going to talk about him when we get to the pass catchers as well. But I don't know. I'm building this as a shootout. And I think that's what we end up seeing here tonight. Yeah, I like that call quite a bit.

10:54

I think it's obvious that, you know, that could be the possibility here. But the fact that you have all these options to go with, the one thing I will add, and then I'll get to you for the captains, is just that there's a lot of captains that can be used up top tonight. I think people will be spreading it out more than usual, right? They won't be fully comfortable with just using the quarterbacks. The quarterbacks look to be the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership.

11:13

Right now, you could see some A.J. Brown steam. I think a lot of people recognize and have seen the, you know, what is it, like a nine box people built of like all the balls that were thrown his way and then how crazy three of those drops were and what could have been and all these different factors. So we saw it on the last slate where Kittle steamed up.

11:30

I think it could be here where we see Brown steam up just a little, only $13,500 in the captain. I think people feel a lot more comfortable with him than, say, a Luther Burden at $12,600. Or, you know, even the Loveland Henry stuff, they're just below $10,000 for tight ends. But I do think we'll see some ownership on them. But I think it'll be more AJ Brown. Obviously, Swift is going to be popular, Caleb and Drake Bay.

11:53

But not many people, I think, just based on how it spreads out, who will build for the five ones as often as they probably should here for either side you could see a game where one team rolls the other it's you know it's not built that way into the spread but I like building a little bit for that on this slate because you have enough options on both sides to do it but the fact there's enough options on both sides typically makes people build those four twos and three threes quite a bit more and yeah they'll look really good on paper and fit and fill out the salary.

12:22

But if you went after one side or the other here, I think it would be a pretty good idea just to have some of those in your portfolio, depending on how many lineups you got. So let's talk about this. Let's go back to you and we'll talk about the captains for a second. How are you sort of formulating your Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. So I think, you know, first off, like I think A.J.

12:41

Brown is a pretty big talking point on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. He had some pretty bad drops. Right. That's like the that was the main takeaway from last week. So let's say let's just reverse that and say A.J. Brown came back and he looked great last week. Seven catches, one hundred and twenty yards and a touchdown. Sitting at $9,000, what sort of OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. He'd probably be close to like twenty percent. Now, he might be a little higher than we're showing right now. And maybe the price would also be a little bit higher if he's coming off the big game. But probably not just because this stuff comes out so early. So I'm viewing this as a multilayer discount on A.J. Brown.

13:29

If you can overlook what happened last week, because to me, I think he's the best captain on the slate. Like he's the guy that I want to have. You have to look past what happened last week because it was bad. He had a couple alligator arm catch miss drops. It was bad. I'm willing to overlook it. I think this guy is way more talented than what he showed last week. Definitely looked rusty. He's dying. He's just by far and away my favorite.

13:58

I just think when you factor all this in, it just seems like the nuke spot for A.J. Brown. I think they're going to make an effort to get him going tonight so for me aj brown is going to be in a tier of his own I'm just I'm it's like a gut feeling sort of thing I just think he he's the guy tonight so absolutely love him up top I hope the ownership stays in stays reasonable.

14:24

And I think it will because we have so many other options. We have the quarterbacks, we have running backs, we have other pass catchers. So there's no way it gets to crazy, crazy amount. So for me, AJ Brown, both quarterbacks for sure in play, you know, Caleb looked phenomenal last week, Drake may, uh, has had a monster game. He had, like, what, the four-D fantasy point game, multiple rushing touchdowns. Both those guys I want some exposure to up top.

14:48

You know, DeAndre Swift is the next guy that's getting quite a bit of ownership. You know, I just – I think I am going to end up spreading it out a little bit. To me, I'm going to make a big move on A.J. Brown, and I do want exposure to a lot of these guys. I know some people are going to be a little bit worried about Rashawn Johnson getting all that work last week. I think it was – Might have been like twelve carries.

15:09

I want to verify that before. Yeah, thirteen. So you got thirteen.

15:14

But the one thing to remember with Johnson is this game was – kind of over in the third quarter it was like thirty one to seven it was a massive blowout so that's when this guy got a majority of his work and then the game Titans back up and then you see Swift back on the field like they were getting their starters out of the way so I don't have much worry in terms of workload for DeAndre Swift I think he's a phenomenal play then you have the pass catchers for Chicago, Burden, Loveland, and even Odunze, who has to come in at low ownership up here.

15:47

He's kind of been the fourth wheel, essentially, in this offense. After Swift, after Burden, after Loveland, you have Odunze, but he's still getting a lot of work, a lot of opportunity. He's going to be LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage. Hunter Henry, Demario Douglas, if you're looking for even more stretch here a little bit, but I don't necessarily love it. A.J. Brown, then I want good ownership on both quarterbacks. Burden. Loveland and Odunze is kind of where I'm going to be focused.

16:20

And then maybe again, if I'm looking to bring in a couple more, it'd be Hunter Henry and Demario Douglas with Romeo Doubs out. You know, we really haven't talked about that, but that is big. It's another reason why I do like A.J. Brown, you know, more than the field because, you know, Romeo Doubs out. So, yeah, a lot of different ways to go. But for me, like A.J. Brown is going to be a big time priority for me.

16:44

And just for clarity, because I think on the last run you did of sort of running them out there, where did Swift end up? Yeah, he's in there. I think it's A.J. Brown and then probably the quarterbacks and then Swift, Burden, Loveland. Yeah, okay. He's going to be in that group with the Bears pass catchers, I'd say. Yeah, so I think we're pretty close.

17:04

I'm going to have a couple different thoughts there for sure, because I think I have Swift ahead of the quarterbacks. Look, both quarterbacks can do their thing tonight. Drake May looks pretty good if I'm going – he's an underdog here, but again, when I'm building him in the cap, then I'm building for the Patriots. I do think Swift has a chance to come down a little bit. We have – I wouldn't be surprised if that number is a little bit lower. We'll see.

17:30

There's just too many guys that look appealing.

17:33

I think for him to get a crazy high number maybe it does end up being but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a little bit lower than that yeah I mean it's he's a home running back there's still no manung guy people are expecting it to be good there but look he even if he gets up to we've still got him in a pretty good spot based on our stuff over at shippenation using the stone the optimal rates the data driven simulations to try and figure it out so I think that's kind of something I'm thinking about here But I like Swift probably ahead of those other guys.

18:01

Look, the quarterbacks both can spread it out, but I feel like the way the lineups are going to build themselves out, like you mentioned to Mario Douglas, Pop Douglas, people like playing him. If you're not going to be on A.J. Brown up top, but you still think they're going to be able to beat that secondary with the long ball, as most people know they have been beaten that way, then guys like him could pop up.

18:19

Um, you know, it could fall into a Drake may captain lineup. So when I'm building for those, I'll have that in there. But to your point on AJ Brown, even some people said like they're out on him already. And if he does well, they'll just take the L and move on. It's like the opportunity is what matters so much more to me, what you talked about. And then his opportunities technically should stay the same or get better when Doubs goes out.

18:38

That's the whole point here. So to me, got to give him a break on that game. And look, even if he goes up a little, I'm fine. Yeah, I mean, again, the main point, assuming you think A.J. Brown is still A.J. Brown of the past, and maybe you don't, and that's fine. That's when you can make the case to be out on him. I think he's still A.J. Brown of the past.

18:58

I still think he's a guy that can go out there and make contested catches, that can put up multiple touchdowns in a game. So if you think he's still that player, this is the ideal spot you're getting him at lower ownership than he would be.

19:14

Even if he had a mediocre game, even if he had a mediocre game last week, if he was six for a hundred and didn't even find the end zone, like all the talking points around AJ Brown from last week is how horribly was all the drops and rightfully so he was horrible and he had some really bad drops, but I still think this is AJ Brown. I still think he can be an elite wide receiver in the league.

19:35

And if you believe that you should be going, making an overweight play on AJ Brown tonight. Yeah. I agree. And the other part of it too, is like, there's nothing wrong with him. Like he just had a bad game. It reminds me of in the golf streets during the playoffs this year when like Rory had a bad week and was like, yeah, I didn't really practice much. Like, oh, well then there's no way he could play. He could play good next week.

19:54

Like one of the best golfers in the world can come back and have a good week. I'm not putting AJ Brown in his territory as much as saying, it's like what happened last week has nothing to do with this week. If anything, his situation might've only got better. Chicago can definitely give up The long ball, that could be him. It could be Douglas. It could be Tyler Williams. It could be Efton Chisholm. We'll get to these guys when we go to wide receiver by position.

20:14

But the point being, it can be A.J. Brown. It most certainly can be a repeat of last week. Just only a magic trick this week. He catches them instead of missing them. It's like, there you go. I think there's, like, after last week's performance, I mean, they obviously are going to want to get him going. I think he gets forced. I mean, to me, just everything – Points in his direction. The matchup is very, very good.

20:34

You have the wide receiver to out with an injury coming off a dud where the consensus thoughts on him is that, you know, maybe he's washed, right? Or did something along those lines or is not the same AJ Brown? Just to me, everything is pointing in his direction tonight. And, like, yeah, if you don't believe it, then I think this is where you take the stance. If you don't buy into it, then fade his ass.

21:01

Like, but if you do think this is still A.J. Brown, like, this is a spot to load up and make a move and go overweight the field on a guy that in the past has been absolutely elite wide receiver with a shitty quarterback and Jalen Hurts throwing him the football. Drake May is much better than Jalen Hurts, so...

21:21

Yeah now a couple other guys that I'll say just because all the common ones are the same um I do like Loveland quite a bit he's still popping but the ones that stood out for me the two guys up the middle here that are interesting just from just a game theory leverage perspective because kind of mixes every angle is Burden and Odunze both those guys in this spot it's like we've got both quarterbacks Well, anything that they do could help Caleb for sure.

21:46

But if it's them instead of Caleb, that matters. But it's more so their pricing. Like Burden III is right underneath AJ Brown. You know, he's still a good number underneath Swift, but not too far that you can't get to Swift. So I think he's in an interesting spot. And then I also think Odunze and obviously our stuff over at Ship It Nation thinks both of those guys could be up top as well. But I think those ownership projections look pretty good.

22:09

On them for accuracy wise and so I think those guys could be a little bit more involved than people think I know they're always scared of like seagon and all that like there's so many things can happen on a defense any given game it's one game it's one slate uh want to try and adapt for that and I'm looking for your leverage if it's not a quarterback it's not aj brown and it's not swift well then that's to me where it could land next so I like Loveland, Burden, Odunze, a little bit more than trying to pick off the other Patriots guys in like Henry, Douglas, Chisholm, Williams, the running backs there, all of that.

22:43

So I think for me, Right now, again, initial look at it, but I would say it's probably A.J. Brown, Swift. Then it's, you know, those guys that fit in the middle like Loveland, Burden, Odunze kind of equal to the quarterbacks and then whatever else falls in the pool. And that way I'll get overweight on A.J. Brown, overweight on Swift. Overweight on Burden, Odunze and Loveland.

23:08

And maybe I'm equal on the quarterbacks, but I just build them in a bit of a different way. And then I'm still good there, but I want the overweights on those other five guys that I talked about. So anything else you want to talk about in the captain position? Yeah, one little shift now, just looking at this and assuming everything, you know, kind of stays on this level. But, you know, seeing Loveland with a cheap price tag, right?

23:29

I mean, to me, the price tag looks cheap. He is $6,400. Kind of just assume that he'd be higher owned in the cap. If he's only coming in at like five percent, I absolutely love him. Up top, you can do so much with your lineup by playing a guy like Loveland up there that does have the slate breaking upside that did have a big game last week. It could have been even bigger. So yeah, I'm definitely in on Loveland.

23:56

I'm going to bump him up quite a bit in terms of where I am to the field. Our guy, Bills G. Billy G. Got them numbers. Yeah, I mean, it's just. Look at these numbers, though. Coker, Watson, Golden, even Dotson went for eighty seven in a TD last week. He says, yeah, A.J. Brown. So we'll see. You know, Alan said A.J. Brown tonight, the equivalent to a good putter who lost strokes one round and we smash him for next round.

24:24

Showed a good way of looking at it. I mean, to me, that's what makes sense. But also when we're weeks removed, or sorry, a week removed, for some reason NFL doesn't always go that way, right? Like people don't think about it like that. It's like we're on a whole nother world, even though it's last week's game and this week's game on a short week. It could just be they need them, get them involved, tons of openings, ways to go there. So like it quite a bit.

24:48

For me, going into the quarterback position, who I'm just talking about it quickly from like the flex perspective, perspective. Obviously, if I'm equal to them or somewhere in that range, maybe even underweight up top, it'll be a lot more in the flex for me. But all the guys that you heard me talking about, besides maybe Swift, you don't need to have a Caleb Williams in the flex, but maybe that's where you've got May coming back the other way.

25:09

But for me, mostly that's where you're going to find them. And obviously when I'm high on AJ Brown, Burden, Odunze, Loveland, guys like that. Their quarterback is typically going to land in the flex spot for me. So I'll be using them a lot in the flex, just not as much up top. Do you have anything else just at quarterback as a whole or in general? Yeah. I mean, they're just both strong, high floor sort of plays. Both will run it both.

25:32

I mean, two of the better fantasy quarterbacks overall. So whatever you can get, you can get them in there. Yeah. I'll use that to tie into the running back conversation anyway, because I guess my, the biggest question of the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate, and obviously if you think this way, you can build this way. That's possible as well. But yeah, What do you think about the chances here of Vrabel saying, you know, let's just mess with these guys and just run all day. Try our best to just run all day.

25:59

Go at Ben Johnson that way and his plan and say, we're going to try and do it this way. Obviously, you can throw all over the Bears. They should try and start there, you'd think. Look at the numbers Bills just posted in the chat stat. But it's like... Nobody wants these running backs at all. Like you're seeing maybe thirty five percent total OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership on Ramondre Stevenson and not much on Henderson and kinder.

26:25

Got a lot of work last week, but it was also remember Henderson was coming back off of a questionable status. So I don't know. Start with these Patriots past running backs and take me into the other running backs on the other side. But it's really hard to work through this and think about how how best to do it on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate.

26:43

Yeah, for the Patriots running backs, I mean, I just – I don't think there's a world where that's going to be their game plan. And, you know, if it is, then kind of move on to start looking at the main slate or something like that because I'm not doing it with these Patriots guys. Like when the good coach speak about the running back room is the third string running back from last week. He said – you know, they asked Vrabel, like, why do you play him so much?

27:08

He says he's running – basically says he is running harder than the other guys. Like, that's not good for anyone. So now there's definitely three guys that are going to be involved. There's no way Connor goes from, what do you have, twelve? I think it was like twelve attempts. We looked it up pre-show. Twelve rush attempts. Eleven in what ended up being a pretty close game with the Jets. Like, the Jets made it within one score. He was out there.

27:34

I just, I'm not messing with Ramondre Stevenson. I'm not going to be messing with Travion Henderson. They, they, Stevenson at $7,800 really has to do something. Travion Henderson at $5,800 has to do something. And then Kiner at fourteen hundred only has to do a little bit. So for me, my favorite is definitely Kiner. And he's the lowest owned and he's the cheapest. So the Patriots running back easy for me.

28:02

Way on I'd even potentially fade these guys way under on Stevenson way under on Henderson and give me give me kinder eleven carries in what was a pretty competitive game and good coach talk yeah I'm I'm in on him the Chicago stuff go ahead yeah go ahead yeah yeah no no you're good I wanted you to keep going I was hoping you would yeah So for Chicago, yeah, we kind of already talked about Swift.

28:26

Like I think that split last week between Swift and Johnson is not all that true. I mean, that game was essentially a blowout. They're up by three scores. They're up by like twenty four, I believe. I think it was like twenty. It was like thirty one to seven. I want to say Johnson starts getting some work like.

28:44

Then Atlanta keeps scoring and it gets a little closer swift comes back in so competitive game swift is going to be out there way more than Johnson so I'm a little hesitant on Johnson but definitely still going to play him at $4,400 uh so I'll how I will rank these guys swift one kinder two Johnson three and then not all that interested in Stevenson or Henderson I was trying to look it up to see.

29:12

I got most of it here, so I can give it. So of the eleven carries that Kiner got, eight of them were in the clock-killing drive at the very end of the game.

29:22

Now, it was a close game, like you said, and then I was trying to look it up further, and there is articles and coach speak and things like that on it saying that um you know variable lets his running backs know it was a bit of a you know ball security punishment things like that so he used kiner um to signal his displeasure with the top two backs um not really coming through for him so they did do that but just of note like a lot of people will see fourteen hundred eleven carries and say the ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections looks low or whatever it might be it's like eight of them did happen could that happen today it could happen again for sure Or it could just be one play is all it takes.

29:56

And he does a great job with it. But just so you guys know, when you see it out there, when you're thinking about it, that is a little bit of a stat nugget for you or a tidbit, if you will, for that one. Roshan on the other side was getting some action, but he's $3,000 more. Obviously, they have no Manung guy. It could be a situation there where they're upwards because of the running backs or whatever it might be.

30:16

So just build accordingly with your builds. But I think you could definitely play multiple. Of either of the running backs on either side. You could play Romandre with Kiner. You could play Henderson with Kiner. You could play Swift with Johnson. I'd be building more for those bloats that I talked about or lineups that feature both of those guys as sort of getting all the work done. But for me, not as much interest, like you said, on the Patriots side. Nobody really does on this slate.

30:41

So just build accordingly with that. But definitely high interest in Swift. We'll get some... Roshan in there as well. But again, it's just depending on the script that you're building for, but much, much higher on Swift than anybody else. And really it's just the dynamics of the slate. A lot of people are on Swift as well. It's just how much versus what they maybe should be versus the field or how they're building. I do like the bear side here and I like the, the Swift option.

31:06

So I'm going to be mostly rolling with him. Anything else for you on the running back? So you want to talk about anything on those stats and stuff? Sorry, I had to sneeze. No, I mean, and in regard to anyone you're not playing, we're at the first position, not playing those Patriots guys. Like, I have no interest in Stevenson or Henderson. And, again, like the little people look at it and say, oh, well, they're not really all that owned. Well, that ownership adds up on Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. 31:35

It definitely adds up quickly. Stevenson, we're showing thirty. Henderson, twelve. So that's... Forty some percent right there. So, I mean, yeah, like I don't like those guys at all. So could come close to a fade. I don't care about this stuff either. Bet is anytime touchdown. Like, you know, we talk about this all the time, like six weeks in when there's been injuries and things like that. Like, I just don't care about that at all. If it happens, it happens.

32:02

But the other stuff you posted was much more useful. That'd be one that just doesn't matter to me. So, you know, I do. I mean, if I am. I do like the guy. I mean, do you like the Connor play? He's going to go into the pool because he's fourteen hundred bucks. So, yeah, but I'm saying, yeah, like I think that's the man. I love everything he does.

32:22

I talk about him all the time on here and when he puts his comments in and sometimes we agree and don't. But I'm not playing kinder at fourteen hundred because he has the most red zone touches so far in the season. And I'm playing him because he's fourteen hundred hundred. And he'll land in the lineups that he lands in because those lineups tell a story of how he could get there and be involved.

32:38

That's all icing on the cake or bonus on top. If he gets any of that, great. But for me, yeah, we'll have to wait and see how these lineups shake out. But yeah, I think it's interesting. And I also think the main point I would say, Hoop, just totally separate, Who else? I will say when we get there, we're segueing to it anyway, so I'll start, but I don't love Zabion Thomas. We've played Jadae Walker in the past.

33:02

I mean, that can fit into your lineup if you want somebody different, but I think the ones for me in that price range are more like Kemet when we get to tight end, Raridon when we get to tight end, and then honestly where we're at right now, like Tyler Williams. It's going to go from A.J. Brown. No, wait.

33:19

It's pop Douglas no actually it's uh you know it's a bird it's a plane no it's Tyler Williams and that's what it is right so and I've even heard people talk about efton chisholm already and he's so it's kind of like falling right in the middle there so obviously we like aj brown the most I I prefer the um next guys up to be Burden and Odunze one of like whoever it is one of the other I think it's going to be uh one of them so I'm excited about that going to my lineups and then pop Douglas But when I am punting and I don't even love the Patriots running backs at all or that much anyway to start with,

33:56

I'm much more Likely to say it's, you know, Tyler Williams gets loose in the secondary or something like that and play that as an option. Again, depending on what story your lineups are telling, where does Kiner make sense might not be the place where Tyler Williams makes sense. So that's how I'm thinking about it. What about you at wide receivers? Yeah, I agree with, you know, pretty much all that. A.J. Brown, I mean, we don't need to stroke him anymore.

34:19

I mean, we both have done a phenomenal job. We know if you watched any portion of the show, you know that we love him tonight. You know, definitely in on Burden. I think Adunze is interesting and has a chance to have his OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership come down a little bit. $7,400 is that kind of awkward price point. He's definitely like the fourth guy when you think of the skill positions in terms of who you want to be on.

34:45

People are going to want to be on Burden over him. Loveland, Swift over him. So I like Adunze quite a bit in these in these, you know, large field GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP. I think the ownership could come down with you on Pop Douglas. And then you have a lot of cheap guys that I think are good plays individually. And then even better plays when you're playing like the captain quarterback stuff, specifically with Drake May, Tyler Williams, Chisholm.

35:10

And you can play these guys without, you know, Drake May in the captain. I just think they're better suited for those sort of lineups where you're hoping Drake May spreads it out a little bit.

35:19

So yeah, um Tyler Williams chisholm I think both fine options they're involved in this offense they're going to be out there uh khalif Raymond is is fine at $3,400 uh didn't do a ton last week but I don't mind the xavion Thomas play but that would be more definitely more specific to uh Caleb Williams captain teams I think he's fine at at twelve hundred I think he he got some action last week I mean when you're talking a twelve hundred dollar player three for three so three uh three targets three catches Twenty five yards like he has big play outside.

35:51

He could break something off. So I'm going to be in on, you know, all these wide receivers for the most part. Like, you know, I'm making my stance at the running back position being lighter on those Patriots guys. And I agree with you in terms of kinder. I prefer these cheap wide receivers definitely over over kinder. There's no doubt about it. Like I kind of made the case for.

36:14

The case I guess I was making for Kiner was more so a fade of Ramondre Stevenson and Travion Henderson opposed to like a full-on endorsement of him. I prefer these pass catchers over him for sure. Agreed. Yeah. That's, that's where I was at with it. And I think like you said, the, you just nailed like a couple of things I always talk about that I get excited for from the process standpoint is like how you're building it matters so much more.

36:37

And you know, a great one would be the bear side. You know, I said it earlier, obviously, you know, people look at that bear secondary and, and, you know, everything they've got with Gonzalez, things like that. And they say like, okay, it's probably not going to be both of these guys. Most Caleb Williams lineups will probably have burdens. Right? And as you know, sorry, Caleb Williams, Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. 36:59

If you skip Burden and go to Odunze and Xavier on Thomas, you are just so different already, even with a popular captain. And I say so different in, you know, lightly, obviously there's other people that are going to do the exact same thing, but you have three other spots to get different with. You're not on all the same stuff. And then what is your composition? Is that a five one with a random Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. Check which players and combinations repeat, and investigate why before increasing the lineup count or changing settings.Read the full definition of Optimizer doing it for you, It's going to take some of these things into consideration as well. But I'm talking to those who are out there, you know, thinking, hey, I love Caleb Williams at the captain. I like all these pass catchers, but I'm thinking about a way to get different without being completely stunned and like, you know, just doing something stupid.

37:40

Well, that would be an opportunity to do something like that. We say, hey, I'm going to skip one of his top wide receivers and go to these guys instead. And maybe Loveland fits in or whatever it looks like. And then it's him hitting a bunch of pass catchers But now it's different on this build and it's different on the run back and all these different things.

37:57

But Xabion Thomas is a guy that, again, it's one of those guys, you know, all the preseason articles of like him and Skylar Bills of the world and these breakout wide receivers. Well, sometimes it takes longer than expected to break out, right? It might not be, you know, early in the season or right away, but it could be a thing. So... On the other side, Chisholm is like a flop leg that's not really a flop leg.

38:19

I just know a lot of people have been talking about it for the last couple of weeks of building confidence with Drake May and he's going to pop at some point and all this stuff. That seemingly never works out, but if there was a SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate to do it, it would be on a showdown slate. At a weird price of $2,800 in the flex. We know how to build with him.

38:38

It'd be like a Drake May captain or something like that, where he's a you know, you have a swift captain with Drake May coming back the other way and you pick him as one of the pass catchers. I think Chisholm Williams, those guys are interesting in those price tags, but Chisholm is in like a no man's land for the price tag. It's like more than Raridon, more than Kemet.

38:56

Less than all the other guys that you would expect, like Kalief Raymond and, you know, the $3,000, $4,000, $5,000 guys, that type of thing. He's just sitting there at $2,800. So I think he's a little bit interesting from different guys on the teams that we've already talked about. So he'd be he'd be my one that stood out from Brown, Pop. Uh, Burden and Odunze the most for popular guys.

39:18

So anything else you want to talk about at wide receiver? If not, you can take us into tight end. We've got Loveland, Comet, Henry, our boy Raridon. We were right on to start the season, but, uh, that's titles boy. He's not here with us today. So what are we thinking? Uh, we already talked about Loveland. I love Loveland, I think he's a phenomenal play. Great, great, great price tag. Very slow start to the season, but, you know, got things going last week.

39:45

You know, he caught the touchdown. So, yes, six for sixty five touchdown. I think like that's going to be more the expectation. The price is too cheap and, you know, he's got decent OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership, but it's not anything crazy. Crazy. It's not like, you know, forty, fifty percent, probably around thirty, low thirty. So I think he's a great option. Sticking with the Bears side, you know, Cole Komet's out there a lot like he's on the field. I think.

40:10

Did he have a touchdown or it might have been close to touchdown or one call back or something last week? Like he is out there in key spots. He had two catches for three yards. I know he's either close to touchdown or had one call back. Great for Caleb Williams captain teams. Hunter Henry, you know, gets a boost as well. You know, a lot of people, when a wide receiver goes out, they're just kind of thinking, right, who are the other wide receivers?

40:34

He gets a boost at, at sixty-two. And then our guy, Rairdon, continues to be out there getting red zone looks for sure and has a cheap price tag. So probably better for Drake May captain teams. We got three targets last week. Five the week before, like he's involved in this offense every single week and at his price point, if one of his catches is a touchdown, you're probably going to need him on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. 40:58

So a lot of good options, you know, Loveland, for sure, is my number one. But I like these other guys, too. And, like, Raridon and Komet are definitely better suited for the quarterback sort of captain teams. Like, Raridon for Drake May captain and Komet for Caleb Williams captain. But I want to definitely keep them in the pool. Yeah, I really also want London... Or sorry, I was going to say something about London in a second.

41:22

Drake London, that is, who let a lot of people down last week, myself included. But of Loveland, you know, Loveland and the captain, the other ones, like you said, perfectly placed with, you know, the setup of either with their quarterback in the captain or if it's, you know, like a swift captain. I keep using this one, but like if it's a swift captain, you could play Drake May with Henry on the Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back. Like just...

41:40

High floor potential for some numbers in a back and forth game with may but then you've had you've got henry there as a guy that he's throwing to or something like that I'd be fine with but the Loveland spot that I was going to talk about was that game last week a lot of us were on the Chicago stacks with London and or bijan on the opposite

42:00

Side and that's why I mentioned Drake London uh you know let some people down so did caleb though but really it was these guys it was Loveland that let him down the most I don't know if you remember this but Loveland had the early touchdown and then he was wide open for a second touchdown and And dude runs like he needs to catch it out of bounds and do a toe tap. There's no one in sight. He could stand like a statue.

42:21

Yeah, that was horrible. That was horrible. And then it gets changed. There was no one by him, and he's going full sprint to the sideline. I mean, it was insane. Yeah, like Usain Bolt. Yeah, like insane and Usain Bolt doubled down. It was like this guy was running. Yeah, I remember that play. My best team had long ones, so I was rooting for touchdown, too. It's like, what in the world are you doing? Like, that's just like... It killed the whole momentum of the game.

42:47

Like, everything after that was just like run, run, run. Caleb was shut down. Like, Caleb was trying to throw touchdowns and make this thing happen. That happened. But anyway, the point is, I think he can get open. We know that. We just saw him. Could have had two, if not one. It doesn't look like people are tilted, man. You just, I, that was, I just forgot about that until you just brought it back up.

43:08

And I, now I remember how freaking annoyed I was by that play. I can't get out of my head now. That was horrible. That was horrible. Like, where are you going, bro? Like, where are you going without the football? Yeah, like you can set – these guys are professionals. Josh, you're the man. You're always here supporting. We appreciate you. But he doesn't know. It doesn't matter though. But if you keep running, like where are you going to go? You don't have the football, man.

43:33

Like you're just going to run out of bounds. There's nobody on your ass and you just stand – like he was like, man. It was just – there was so much momentum. I don't know what he was doing. But anyway, these guys are in the NFL for a reason. We're not. That's part of it. I get it. I'm just saying it wasn't even close. He could have stood there like a statue and just caught the ball.

43:49

It was just – no that was that was full listen man I will give these quarterbacks shit when they deserve it that was fully on Loveland like there's at the pace he was going right out of bounds there's nowhere he could have put the football besides behind him I can't remember also too I actually think now that you said that it reminds me even further and I hate to keep because it's all in the wound for me too but I honestly think it was brady on the broadcast that called it called it out on caleb Or on Loveland, sorry.

44:18

Because he's a quarterback sticking up for a quarterback. I get it. But he was saying, like, dude, got to slow down. Like, what's he running for? It reminded me, like, back in the day, like how Edelman would actually get open for his routes. Like, just so shifty and be good. But it's like, slow down, man. Especially because Loveland such a big dude. It's like, man, just that tumbling force. You're not stopping that.

44:38

So, you know, inertia, whatever you want to say, the scientifics of it. But I will say... Interesting in the captain. You can use them anywhere. I'm just saying the fact that it looks like even with Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown spreading out, Loveland should still be lower than expected, I think. So to me, high interest in them there. These other guys you can use. I'm good with all of them. Henry, Raridon, Kemet, all in the flex. Use them as you see fit. Don't see a lot with these other guys.

45:05

I know we've been Sam Rush, Rush, trying to make him work. He gets a ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections. He shows up in there. It's possible. But I'm saying, like, for what we're, you know, standing for or cheering for, these are the guys that we're, you know, talking about that you'll actually have bigger decisions on, especially if you're playing twenty or less lineups, my guess. So... Yeah, nothing else for me to add at the tight end. What do you got for the kicker game logs in this one?

45:29

Because that was my other thinking of this one earlier. Probably way more Likely, actually, than the Patriots somehow figuring out to get these running backs involved heavily is that you get a Borregales-Santos back and forth of just kicking field goals in this game. Both these teams can break down when they get close. Yeah. Avery mentioned it earlier. Bears can play loose up until the red zone. The Patriots can too. The Patriots could be playing loose up until the end zone, getting those deep bombs.

45:58

Then all of a sudden it's like three, you know, it's three shots at it. They don't get it done. Like, okay, bring out the kicker. So what's your numbers on these guys right now that you've seen? Not that it equals tonight, but I'm just curious because I could see this happening for sure. Yeah, I mean, so Santos has four out of the six games, nine, nine or above. So that's a solid number from a kicker. Boragalis is pretty similar. He's, let's see...

46:29

Every game but one, he's had at least six. That's not a huge number. So he's had six, nine, seven, three, nine, eight. So there hasn't been any like big time CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. It describes a big performance that could happen when things go well, not the expected score or an absolute maximum.Describe what must happen for each player to have a huge game. Then check whether those conditions help or hurt the other players in your lineup.Read the full definition of Ceiling performances. But the kickers, I mean, it's just it's wild to think, though. It's like it's all about the game and where the teams get their stops and just like one fifty yard field goal. You're basically getting a touchdown from these guys. So definitely going to keep them in.

46:54

I'm not super excited about these two just because the offenses are so aggressive, specifically Chicago's. I guess if I had a preference on one of these kickers, it would probably be Boragalis. But for me tonight, I'm always over on the kickers. I'll probably be a little over on both these guys. But if I'm deciding on one, it would be Boragalis and not much interest in defense. I'm building some double kicker lineups tonight for old time's sake.

47:20

That's been a thing we've done for years now. And it just feels like, again, that's the one that seems like a more popular... Potential, or I should say more popular, higher potential than these running backs figuring it out on the Patriots side. I feel like there's going to be passing.

47:38

There's going to be a bunch of catches, short passes, catches over the middle, these tight ends, guys like that that can catch balls, fall on it, some runs through the middle to move the chains. But at the end of the day, you could definitely see it where it falls apart a little bit once they get closer and you end up just getting... Three, four field goals from both sides and you get a bit of a back and forth.

47:57

Even can happen in a higher scoring game too. A lot of people think that automatically means the under or things like that. It's not always the case. And same goes too for just rounding this out because I don't have a lot of thoughts on the defense, but Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Read the full definition of Roster Construction or composition in Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown as well. A lot of people assume like, you know, five, one, somebody talked about earlier.

48:16

I think it ended up being like a five, one Carolina in the Detroit game or something that was close. And it was like, that was still a close game. We've also seen our guy title. Who's not with us today. When all the money at the Superbowl a couple of years ago with a two, four with a Chiefs captain, when the Eagles blew them out, it was Worthy in the captain and four Eagles in the flex with another chief.

48:36

It's like, it still depends on how the game actually plays out and where the fantasy points go. We saw it the other night. We talked about this on Monday night hoop with, Lamb ended up being the captain. It wasn't because of Lamb's big game. Matthew Golden had a huge game and could have had a double that almost with two dropped touchdowns potentially. But it was more about when the two cheap guys, Pierce Strong and Flournoy, both get double digits.

48:59

Well, that's going to be way more common in a Lamb lineup. And then Lamb still did just enough to get it across the finish line. So lots of different ways to think about it when you're building, but definitely don't just go off of the spreads and the totals or, you know, saying that we say two kickers means that it can mean anything. We saw defenses. So Toronto defenses, we saw the Mexico game a couple of years ago. What was that? A hundred and seven points or something.

49:25

I think both defenses were like eight and twenty three Rams. Yeah. Definitely. At least the Rams. It was in Mexico. And I think both defenses almost scored. They averaged twenty. I think the two defenses in a game like that, it was like everything was going nuts.

49:40

In that game but if anyone had if you had told someone before the game both defenses score fifteen plus points they're like what no way in mexico there's no way the game goes under you just you don't just associate it with the game total when it comes to that stuff and then in Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown there's tons of different ways that you can build leave money two fours one fives five ones all different things that you can do depending on how you think the game plays out so that's what I think is interesting and so I like this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate quite a bit anything from the FanDuel side that you see here uh just looking at it uh remondra Stevenson pretty expensive $10,200 and then um there is uh travion Henderson

50:18

$8,000 so those guys even more expensive relative to the field on on FanDuel uh Loveland fair price at seventy two uh dunes that we kind of talked about him maybe going a little overlooked I'd say even more so on FanDuel he's $8,200 so Loveland is cheaper and then burdens only like four hundred dollars more so I think dunesay has a chance to go overlooked pop Douglas $4,400 really cheap price tag on FanDuel Even Hunter Henry, $5,800 cheap come down.

50:50

Big difference between Chisholm and Tyler Williams, where they're priced pretty closely on DK. FanDuel Chisholm is fifty two, where Tyler Williams is only $2,800. So people are going for a cheap wide receiver. They're just going to go Williams over Chisholm. And then the rest of the cheap guys are are down below. But those are the few things that stood out. Roshon Johnson, pretty cheap on FanDuel, too, at $3,600. Yeah, I just noticed that.

51:17

Henry, too, cheaper on FanDuel than DraftKings, he said. So I think that's interesting, too. I was just trying to see... What was that? Week... Yeah, one thing I just thought about, because I was thinking about the Hunter Henry thing and how he's less on FanDuel than he is on DraftKings and much less than Loveland. Also, he's only two hundred bucks less than Loveland on DraftKings. He's $5,800 versus $7,200 on FanDuel.

51:44

The guy that got the Bears was just last week. Again, does nothing to do with this week.

51:48

I get all that, but it's like pitts was the guy that stole all the points from London and bijan last week so I do think that's kind of uh you know interesting if you see it go that way because it's like would tell the perfect story of how they're getting there but um obviously we want to see aj brown get an action here and find his way around I'm just trying to see quarterbacks to actually it's pretty crazy this this is cool the um The new DVP rankings is what I was using.

52:16

We just got, we just launched it. It's part of everything we showed you guys earlier with the new site stuff, but it takes you over to classic because it's just so you can get it for every game. And it talks about like the color coding, tough matchup through the great, I mean, it's all fully updated. Now you can do FanDuel, DraftKings, all the games, whatever.

52:32

But when I went down to here and go with the tight end, it's like Chicago hasn't actually been that bad versus tight ends. But then it tells you like who got them and when for the most fantasy points. And it was Tyler pits in week six for three. And then it just reminded me like, Oh yeah, shit. And then who do they play this week? So you can get all this stuff sorted through just a ton of good tools over there that you guys can use.

52:54

It's a, it's no longer what everybody thinks so if you haven't checked out the new site at shippenation.com check it out you can see everything that we offer there if you didn't miss if you didn't catch off the the top of the video or you missed it you can see all that we've got there but I think a lot of people still think like core plays and things like that we've talked about this for years now that's never what it was about there is a lot of very valuable tools and we put them together in a valuable way for your time in mind.

53:19

And then of course the affordability at Ship It Nation versus the market is typically half the price, if not one third of some places. And you can still get top tier partnerships with, you know, SaberSim and other sites that we partner with like DFSOS.com where you can see what other top players are doing and things like that. So lots going on over at Ship It Nation right now.

53:39

If you guys want to check it out, now is the time with Shiba Games on the go. Anything else from you Hoop before we get out of here? No, sir. Looking forward to the game tonight. It should be a solid one, obviously. And everyone out there, good luck. And let's start week seven out on a strong note and carry it through the rest of the weekend. Yeah. Check out the new site. If nothing else, make sure you get our free DFS blueprint.

54:02

You just put in your email, say what sport you're most interested in. We'll send you the blueprint. It's right at the bottom of shipitnation.com.
