The Short Version

Mike Petta, Tyler Tamboline and Zach Trivett break down an eleven-game slate with dispersed ownership and limited afternoon swaps. Dallas-Arizona is easier to stack than Baltimore-Buffalo, while Cincinnati's concentrated passing offense supports Ja'Marr Chase and Burrow double stacks. Cheap running backs make Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinson uncomfortable builds, but both warrant overweight exposure at reduced ownership. Jacksonville offers another condensed passing stack without needing an Indianapolis bring-back.

Puka Nacua ($8,600) is a priority spend, with Mark Andrews ($3,400) and Cade Otton at the same salary supporting double-tight-end builds. Cheap receivers fit best within their quarterback stacks rather than as disconnected salary relief. Raiders-Jets draws unmistakably split opinions, from minimal exposure to aggressive game stacks. Braelon Allen's game-script dependence creates hesitation, while the popular Jonah Coleman-Broncos defense pairing offers little flexibility if early lineups fall behind.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
Chargers DST CHALK The defense is expected to attract salary-saving ownership in the afternoon window. 8:40
Lamar Jackson + Zay Flowers + Ja'Kobi Lane + Mark Andrews IN PLAY Use two Baltimore pass catchers with Jackson, with Lane and Andrews providing inexpensive combinations and a Buffalo bring-back available for a full game stack. 13:22
VALUE At $3,400, his expected playing time opens salary for premium players and he works either alone or with Lamar Jackson. 15:42
Opinions were split: his salary, Ty Johnson's involvement and Josh Allen's rushing touchdowns prompted a rejection, but he was also discussed as a Baltimore-stack bring-back. 16:28
UNDERWEIGHT Field-level or lighter exposure was preferred because his salary and rushing touchdowns make the correct receiving partner difficult to identify, with naked builds more acceptable in smaller fields. 17:09
Joe Burrow + Ja'Marr Chase + Tee Higgins TOP STACK Cincinnati is expected to score repeatedly, and doubling the concentrated passing attack can be paired with cheap Tennessee receivers or Gunnar Helm. 20:37
ONE-OFF He also works outside Cincinnati stacks after another strong game and only a $100 salary increase. 22:14
Bengals DST PAY UP Paying up for Cincinnati defense was proposed while most lineups spend down, especially if Tennessee cannot sustain its passing offense without Carnell Tate. 22:35
FADE Jump off after last week's success because Tennessee is now a substantial road underdog and his ownership has increased. 23:03
ONE-OFF Use him in Cincinnati's favorable scoring environment, with receiving work also allowing him to fit alongside Joe Burrow. 24:04
VALUE At $2,500, his roughly 85 percent snap share and potential garbage-time targets provide inexpensive access to the Cincinnati-Tennessee game. 24:30
Dak Prescott + Javonte Williams UNDERWEIGHT Avoid forcing this pairing together on the main slate; the preferred construction uses Williams separately from Prescott passing stacks. 27:33
Jacoby Brissett + Kendrick Bourne + Trey McBride IN PLAY Brissett's $5,700 salary and ability to accumulate passing production while trailing support stacks with Bourne and McBride against Dallas. 27:54
VALUE At $3,900 and single-digit ownership, he is an inexpensive alternative to Tennessee's popular receivers in a highly appealing game. 28:13
PAY UP The $7,300 salary is justified by his uncontested workload and Dallas's ability to keep feeding him while ahead; he also fits opposite Arizona stacks. 29:57
Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb + Ryan Flournoy TOP STACK Start Dallas stacks with Prescott and Lamb, adding Flournoy in larger portfolios because he stays on the field and provides a different receiving combination. 32:11
OVERWEIGHT Take more than the field at roughly 15 to 17 percent ownership despite the difficult matchup and the salary sacrificed relative to cheap running backs. 35:26
LEVERAGE Target his unusually low ownership because Minnesota's blitzing could direct quick throws and substantial reception volume toward him. 35:59
The matchup was viewed negatively because Detroit may need quick throws to Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs rather than longer-developing passes. 36:20
Kyler Murray + Justin Jefferson + T.J. Hockenson, with Jahmyr Gibbs LEVERAGE Use the inexpensive, low-owned Minnesota passing combination with Gibbs pushing the scoring on the other side; Hockenson is an optional addition. 41:37
ONE-OFF At $5,900, he is a preferred standalone Jacksonville piece against Indianapolis, although Chris Rodriguez Jr. limits his snap share. 46:55
His $4,400 salary and backup touchdown potential were discussed, but even a two-touchdown game might not overcome the slate's running back opportunity cost. 46:55
Trevor Lawrence + Parker Washington + Brenton Strange TOP STACK Play for Jacksonville's full passing ceiling through its preferred targets, with an Indianapolis bring-back optional rather than necessary. 48:38
PAY UP He is the preferred expensive tight end over Brock Bowers despite the substantial savings available with cheaper tight ends. 50:35
Raiders DST LEVERAGE Use the defense against popular Braelon Allen builds, hoping Las Vegas forces Geno Smith into passing situations and mistakes. 50:59
UNDERWEIGHT Some exposure remains acceptable, especially with different stacks, but his rising ownership and dependence on favorable game script support a lighter stance. 51:45
Kirk Cousins + Tre Tucker + Brock Bowers, with Braelon Allen and Garrett Wilson IN PLAY Opinions were split: this low-owned game was an aggressive overstack target on one side of the discussion, while the other view preferred minimal exposure because the passing options had expanded. 54:37
Jaylen Warren + Steelers DST LEVERAGE Pair Warren's low ownership with Pittsburgh defense to differentiate builds that would otherwise use more popular running backs. 58:26
Browns FADE The offense was rejected, with changing defenses preferred over trying to attack popular Pittsburgh defense through Cleveland stacks. 58:46
ONE-OFF Use him as an individual Pittsburgh piece, with the $5,400 DraftKings salary and modest ownership keeping him attractive. 1:01:08
Baker Mayfield + Buccaneers receivers Cheap stacks without Emeka Egbuka and clear Atlanta bring-backs were appealing, but the discussion remained hesitant because Tampa Bay's passing pieces had disappointed. 1:03:40
ONE-OFF He remains a good standalone play at $6,400 with ownership held down by the number of viable running backs. 1:05:22
VALUE At $3,400, his role as a primary target supports double-tight-end builds that preserve salary for premium receivers and running backs. 1:05:46
Falcons DST ONE-OFF Use Atlanta defense when avoiding Tampa Bay offensive pieces, with rain and potential Baker Mayfield mistakes supporting the angle. 1:06:11
UNDERWEIGHT The discussion leaned away from him, with the remaining route to exposure limited to Baker Mayfield stacks built for a full passing ceiling. 1:06:36
PAY UP His $8,600 salary was considered too cheap for the expected target volume and multiple paths to touchdowns. 1:08:49
His involvement complicates Kyren Williams's workload, but prior strong games still failed to make him necessary on winning lineups. 1:11:49
Some exposure at $4,300 was planned reluctantly because J.K. Dobbins remains involved and pairing Coleman with Denver defense is expected to be popular. 1:12:47
Broncos DST CHALK At $2,300, Denver is expected to be the slate's most popular defense and could exceed 20 percent ownership in the main event. 1:13:10
The discussion was split between rejecting his $8,800 opportunity cost and considering how a strong game would damage popular Denver defense and Jonah Coleman builds. 1:17:22
ONE-OFF At $3,400 and around five percent ownership, his nearly 70 percent snap share makes him an alternative to the popular Tennessee value receivers. 1:20:03
Drake Maye + Rhamondre Stevenson + Hunter Henry IN PLAY This combination can capture checkdowns and touchdowns with A.J. Brown and TreVeyon Henderson absent, and the rain alone was not considered a reason to abandon it. 1:21:59
OVERWEIGHT Take an overweight stance on a premium running back whose ownership is suppressed by the abundance of cheaper alternatives. 1:26:23

DFS Terms Used on This Show

Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Read the full definition of Roster Construction▶ Said at 0:04 SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate▶ Said at 0:04 OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership▶ Said at 0:04 Defense/Special Teams (DST)Defense/Special Teams (DST) is a roster selection representing one NFL team's combined defense and special teams, rather than an individual player. It earns fantasy points through sacks, takeaways, defensive and return touchdowns, and other plays, with adjustments for points allowed.Compare what a DST upgrade costs elsewhere in your lineup. If paying more forces you off an important offensive role, check whether a cheaper defense offers a credible path through sacks and turnovers.Read the full definition of Defense/Special Teams▶ Said at 2:01 Team TotalIn NFL DFS, a team total estimates one team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It includes scoring by the whole team, not just offensive touchdowns or fantasy production.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total▶ Said at 5:12 GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP▶ Said at 8:59 Lineup LockLineup lock is the deadline after which you cannot change your selected players. Without late swap, your entire lineup locks together; with late swap, which allows edits after the contest begins, players lock at their games' listed deadlines. After saving an edit, reopen your entered lineups and confirm the change reached every intended entry. Check the site's displayed lock times and time zone instead of relying on the television schedule.Read the full definition of Lineup Lock▶ Said at 9:19 ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections▶ Said at 10:58 Target ShareTarget share is the percentage of a team's targets (passes thrown toward an intended receiver) that go to one player. A receiver who sees 8 of his team's 32 targets has a 25 percent target share.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share▶ Said at 12:28 CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. It describes a big performance that could happen when things go well, not the expected score or an absolute maximum.Describe what must happen for each player to have a huge game. Then check whether those conditions help or hurt the other players in your lineup.Read the full definition of Ceiling▶ Said at 14:56 Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Read the full definition of Single-Entry▶ Said at 16:48 LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage▶ Said at 16:48 UnderweightYou are underweight in DFS when a player, team stack or lineup combination appears in a smaller percentage of your entries than in the contest field's entries.Compare the same contest, format and roster slot. Use projected ownership before lock, then check actual ownership afterward to see whether your intended underweight stance held.Read the full definition of Underweight▶ Said at 17:09 Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack▶ Said at 21:12 One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off▶ Said at 21:54 Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up▶ Said at 22:35 ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value▶ Said at 26:28 Showdown (Captain and MVP)NFL Showdown lets you select players from one football game, including eligible quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, kickers and team defenses. Your Captain or MVP receives the contest's scoring multiplier.Compare complete lineups with different players in the multiplier slot. Leaving salary unused can reduce duplication, but do not sacrifice meaningful scoring potential just to make your lineup unusual.Read the full definition of Showdown▶ Said at 27:33 Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back▶ Said at 30:26 Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Read the full definition of Mini-Stack▶ Said at 32:34 Player PoolA player pool is the set of players you consider using in your DFS lineups for a slate, the games or events included in a contest. The term can also mean everyone available to select in that contest.Keep a replacement beside each uncertain player, noting the salary and position you need. Recheck those alternatives when news changes so your shortlist still produces usable lineups.Read the full definition of Player Pool▶ Said at 40:42 OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. It uses projected fantasy points, your settings and, in some tools, simulations to select combinations for a chosen goal.Build a small test batch first. Check which players and combinations repeat, and investigate why before increasing the lineup count or changing settings.Read the full definition of Optimizer▶ Said at 40:42 ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Read the full definition of Chalk▶ Said at 50:59 Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. In football, teams protecting a lead often run more, while teams chasing a deficit often pass more. Before locking a lineup, ask who keeps playing if your expected script reverses. Check passing-down roles and backup rotations instead of assuming a team's leading rusher handles every situation.Read the full definition of Game Script▶ Said at 51:22 Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Read the full definition of Late Swap▶ Said at 59:11 PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. Tournament pivots usually seek comparable scoring upside at lower ownership, meaning fewer competing lineups use them. Before swapping, check what the replacement changes around it: your remaining salary, teammates, opposing players and available later-starting options.Read the full definition of Pivot▶ Said at 59:11 Multi-EntryMulti-entry means entering more than one lineup into the same contest. A contest's entry limit, such as 3, 20 or 150, sets how many lineups one user can submit.Set your total spend for the slate first, then divide it into entries. Multi-entry should spread a fixed budget across more outcomes, not raise how much you put at risk.Read the full definition of Multi-Entry▶ Said at 1:02:54 Stars and ScrubsStars and scrubs is a DFS lineup structure where you spend heavily on several expensive players and fill other roster spots with low-salary players. The cheap players free up salary for the stars; they are not necessarily bad players.Compare the points you gain by upgrading to a star with the points you sacrifice at the cheap spot. Check whether both players still fit your lineup's scoring scenario.Read the full definition of Stars and Scrubs▶ Said at 1:05:46 Top-Heavy PayoutsA top-heavy payout structure gives a large share of a contest's prize pool to the top few finishers, leaving smaller prizes for everyone else who cashes.Read the payout table, not just the prize pool. The share of prizes that goes to first place should decide how much risk your lineup takes.Read the full definition of Top-Heavy Payouts▶ Said at 1:05:46 Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Read the full definition of Cash Game▶ Said at 1:24:52

The news, the clarification from Ian Rapoport that it's Brees Hall expected to be out. So we will talk about Braylon Allen and more. There's not much news other than that. The first game of the day will be the Ravens at the Bills. When we get there, we think Kincaid and Moore will both play in that.

1:08

So we'll talk more on that when we get to it, but make sure to hit that thumbs up, subscribe to the channel on the way in and hoop. Saw you out there this morning getting her done. We had Halloween for those that take your part in that yesterday. And then we had you out there with the billy goat this morning. What's going on, man? How you doing? Yeah. Yeah. So I had the video queued up and ready to go yesterday.

1:26

So I guess it's a little misleading on my end. So it was actually yesterday I was out there. I was grinding pretty hard and I meant to post the video and then got distracted and didn't post it. So I kind of played it up as if I did it this morning. And I definitely didn't do it this morning because I got after a little bit last night. Feel like dog turds.

1:42

There's no way my ass could have got out of bed and done yard work this morning. So a little fabrication, little white lie, I guess you could say on my end, but it was yesterday. And that's a hell of a machine, man. That Bills go. That thing is no joke. People love it. You know, feeling like buns over there, he says, guys. Yes. Hoops is working the X algorithm.

2:01

He knows there's more people online on a Sunday morning, a football Sunday with an hour time change for those that we said those who celebrate Halloween, those that celebrate Defense/Special Teams (DST)Defense/Special Teams (DST) is a roster selection representing one NFL team's combined defense and special teams, rather than an individual player. It earns fantasy points through sacks, takeaways, defensive and return touchdowns, and other plays, with adjustments for points allowed.Compare what a DST upgrade costs elsewhere in your lineup. Not always, but title. Usually you don't. Do you there? You're still away. And I know in Arizona they don't mess with these clocks. But were you messing with clocks over there? How you doing, man? Yeah, thankfully my phone does it all for me. Arizona, yeah, it changes everything.

2:21

My show at six, now it's going to be seven. Eleven goes to noon. Like, it changes all that. But, hey, find something. Find someone or something that loves you as much as Hoop loves his yard and his machines. Yeah. You'll get there one day, man. I'm telling you. No, I won't. Something clicks. That's why I live with all these rocks and stuff, so I don't have to. If you stay in Arizona, you're not going to appreciate the lawn.

2:49

You're not going to ever appreciate it, so I take that back. But if you ever lock in in Wisconsin or something, get back close to the family, you'll appreciate the lawn stuff. I'm telling you. Not happening. I'm staying in Arizona forever. Okay. Then you're not going to get on team appreciate the lawn. No. I will say this, though. The chat's already talking. I'm buying the Ravens goat myself. Forget your Bills goat over there with the Bills. We're rocking the Ravens today.

3:15

That's going to be the first game that we discuss. Huge game. How are you going to second-guess me? Lamar said. What are we waiting on? He's back. I can't wait to watch this game. It's fun. It's good for you. I will say that the NFL schedule is stupid today. How are some of these games not in the four p.m. Eastern window? And then we got freaking... What is it, Eagles and Commanders? Like, let's start moving the shit around a little bit.

3:38

Come on. I don't even care if they were healthy. That's insane. I know they, like, different networks have access and all this stuff, CBS game, and they're not Sunday Night Football. But I watched this promo yesterday of, like, the Ravens versus the Bills, of course, just to see this back and forth. It was the best promo I ever watched. Yeah.

3:54

Football and I'm like oh wait that's the game just to start the slate today so anyway makes for a good morning the morning slate is crazy on its own so

4:01

This is wild but let's let's start there let's get a grand scheme overview for you there's a couple big boy games on the slate very early we're going to get to those ones and then the afternoon kind of just falls flat but there's three games that still matter for the slate especially if you're going to be sweating one point five million dollars up top any of any of those out there that are in the mid-season main event so take it away Yeah, usually we say like, yeah, if you get off to a hot start and you're sitting pretty after the early games, the one p.m.

4:28

Eastern games, don't get too comfortable today. If you're sitting pretty, you probably can get a little bit comfortable because the afternoon window is not strong from a DFS perspective. A lot of the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership is going to be in this early window. So that's one thing to kind of take note of. And the other thing is not we'll get to it and talk about it, but not a ton of. Swap opportunities either.

4:49

I mean, there are a couple of plays in the afternoon, but not too much. So it's definitely one thing to consider and think about, but not all that important in terms of the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. You know, a lot of good games, a lot of games that could be high scoring. Kind of go through the positions and talk through it. You know, same thing at quarterback that we always talk about. It gets spread out. And today it looks like that's the case.

5:12

No one really over fifteen percent Dak Prescott kind of leading the way there. And that's because Dallas has a Team TotalIn NFL DFS, a team total estimates one team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It includes scoring by the whole team, not just offensive touchdowns or fantasy production.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total sitting right around thirty and they flow offensively and they have a really good matchup and they're at home. So a lot to like with Dallas. Dak is the top dog in terms of ownership and the next guys in line after him. You got Burrow, you got Allen. Versus that, it gets really spread out, ten percent below.

5:36

So, again, if you like something at quarterback in stacks, you just kind of stick with it because ownership always gets spread out. So, like, there's no reason to ever, in my eyes, get off a quarterback in a stack that you like because of quarterback ownership. If you like Dak today, he's going to be the higher stone and he is going to be the highest stone. There's no doubt about it. You know, maybe play a little bit different.

5:58

We'll talk about it when we get into that game. The running back position is kind of back to the upper $5,000 $6,000 range. Just absolutely loaded up a ton of really good value on the slate. And then we also have the Jonah Coleman four point $3,000. We'll get some action for Denver. So. What this leads me to believe, and it's going to end up being true for sure, is the studs at running back are going to get overlooked a little bit.

6:26

Jameer Gibbs under twenty percent. It's a really bad matchup. I don't know. I guess, you know, for Gibbs, can you really say anything's a really bad matchup? It is the question today. I mean, it's the Vikings who have a good defense, but Jameer Gibbs is the absolute stud under twenty percent. We talked about it last Week. It didn't work out and it's going to be the same thing today, but a more difficult matchup.

6:47

And I even think, you know, the next guy, Bijan Robinson, same thing has to get overlooked. I mean, running back is loaded with value today. Guys under twenty. Six point $5,000 that are in just phenomenal spot. So I think those are two very important talking points on the slate. Jameer Gibbs and Bijan Robinson. And we'll talk about it when we get to those games. Wide receiver position. A lot of really good plays. We have value.

7:11

I guess the value is definitely shaky, though, because it's the top value resides with the Tennessee Titans. Who's the dude that's out? He slipped my mind. Cardinal Tate. Cardinal Tate. But Tate with Tate out.

7:24

Uh, you have a, you know, Vondale Robinson going to get some ownership, uh, io manor is going to get some ownership at $3,000 flat other cheap guys but we have some studs on the slate we have Ja'Marr Chase we have puka we have cd labs so it's a loaded loaded wide receiver position today and then uh tight end value and spends you got Trey McBride up top is you know gonna get some ownership but you know how much is the question because on DK there's such a gap in the the the pricing with the the stud tight ends and the cheap guys you're saving you know you can save thirty five

7:57

Hundred You can save $4,000 like if you you want to play McBride, you got two guys at $3,400 for $4,000 cheaper. Kate Otton, Mark Andrews. So it's the trade McBride thing is always interesting. Brock Bowers probably goes overlooked today. I mean, we have him at.

8:15

Five percent the guy can just absolutely nuke a slate so that kind of stands out at the tight end position but it's a very I mean well-rounded well-rounded slate today I think for sure and really I mean there's besides a couple of these running backs you know no no crazy ownership those wide receivers I talked about all you know twenty three percent and below so it's a it's a it's a good well-rounded slate today for sure Yeah, and then the defense, too.

8:40

You mentioned a lot there. Really good coverage, and I'll let Title look up some weather stuff for us for a second. I'll do a couple quick shout-outs, but the defense, most people are paying down, too, right? That's the funny thing. Everyone's going to be sitting in the afternoon, and what you're kind of up against is Ramondre, Jonah Coleman and the Broncos D or the Chargers D that's pretty much what you're going to be looking at.

8:59

Obviously there's going to be people with certain stacks of the Rams game or whatever it might be. But in general, if you have a really good morning and didn't have anything going or much going in the afternoon, you're going to be up against the same stuff as everybody else. I want to say what's up to Nika. Nika coming off a huge Week, winning a hundred thousand dollars in the NBA streets in the five dollar GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP. So shout out to Nika.

9:19

And that's important because for those of you that don't know what's going on over at Ship It Nation is, of course, the Ship It Games. You can go to ShipItGames.com to get all the details. All you have to do is be an all access or an NFL only member. So there's still time to sign up Lineup LockLineup lock is the deadline after which you cannot change your selected players. Without late swap, your entire lineup locks together; with late swap, which allows edits after the contest begins, players lock at their games' listed deadlines. After saving an edit, reopen your entered lineups and confirm the change reached every intended entry. Check the site's displayed lock times and time zone instead of relying on the television schedule.Read the full definition of Lineup Lock. Excuse me, the Golden Shipper this Week. Up to four hundred ninety nine people get into it.

9:39

The top three win a Golden Ship It ticket. We've had twenty one Golden Ship It tickets passed out already. There's up to fifty on the season. We do this every Week up to Week sixteen. The end of the season, the winner will ultimately win currently $12,000. That's gone up.

9:55

From $10,000 it can continue to go up but these are the prizes for the top ten and then this Week the reason I brought that up because nika has so generously and just beyond grateful for her for doing this has put up $3,000 of her winnings so not only will the top three win the Golden chippa tickets They'll win a thousand, eight hundred and six hundred dollars cash. One, two, three.

10:17

And then the two that come up just short of the Golden shipping ticket will still get four hundred and two hundred dollars. So another six hundred bucks in cash being given out there. So shout out to Nika. Excited for that. If you guys want to check out ShipItNation.com, the new site is up and running and you can go over there to see it. Title. Hoop gave us a great breakdown.

10:35

I know you'll have the props and everything else throughout, but usually when there is weather, and this Week I think people will want to talk about it a little bit, what do you got for the weather and then anything you want to add to Hoop's breakdown before we get into these games? Yeah, again, just copy and paste and Roth. Three games he has is Yellow, Falcons-Tampa, Colts-Jags, Patriots-Dolphins, pretty much scattered showers in all three of them. It's always baked in the total.

10:58

It's baked into ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections. I don't worry until I see like a red and orange.

11:02

Something like that so not worried about whether I'm man what a slate we have on tap though looking at ownership only one player projected for over twenty three percent on DraftKings no players projected over twenty six percent on FanDuel to spread out as it gets that's what I love to see it's been pretty tough this year with a lot of with how bad that Lions defense is but how good the offenses and domes Cardinals, Lions, Packers, Lions.

11:26

There's always a game or two that just takes it all. Yeah, I mean, there's two great games, obviously, the Cowboys game and the Buffalo game. But you got to spend for these players if you want to get to them. We play a salary-based game. So I'm really pumped for this slate. Yeah, midseason tournament. I think it's a great Week for them to have this as well. So I'm ready to get into it. Yeah, I'll let Hoop go first on the Ravens-Bills.

11:48

But before he does, just a quick add to what you said there. I thought it was really interesting looking at it this Week. While we do have the two big total games, it is a little bit down the board, but then there's five or six games that all have that forty-five to forty-seven range. And we know it's not just about the totals. We've talked about this a bunch. You can get it out of everywhere.

12:05

But the other nice thing that I think is interesting is in the Ravens-Bills, and we're about to get to it, but Lamar, Henry, Zay, Lane, Bateman, Andrews, other side. Allen cook more expected to play Shakir Coleman, Kincaid expected to play, et cetera, et cetera. So that can get spread out. And then you go to the Arizona Cowboys game and I won't list them all the same way, but the point being these games have enough guys that it can really spread out.

12:28

So when, when you see that there are some other games that may have lighter totals, but it may be a even more condensed Target ShareTarget share is the percentage of a team's targets (passes thrown toward an intended receiver) that go to one player. A receiver who sees 8 of his team's 32 targets has a 25 percent target share.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share. So I think it's all, as usual, we preach the process over here. I think it's going to come down to a lot of Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Read the full definition of Roster Construction, game theory and If I'm not going here, how am I accounting for that? Or do I need to, what can I expect to happen?

12:46

So it's going to be a fun one to break down hoop. I'll kick it over to you to start. We got Ravens at the Bills. I think we're all expecting more and Kincaid to be ruled in, but I don't think it's come out yet. If you guys see it in the chat, because we'll be going game by game here, let us know right away.

12:59

If we don't see it first and we'll circle back just to mention it quickly for everyone, but go ahead, hoop, take us into this one. Big boy, total exciting, real life game, everything and more. Yeah, I mean, phenomenal game. I mean, big total, relatively close spread, two offenses that can definitely bring it. We have Lamar Jackson coming back, which is a massive boost for the Ravens offense. Raven side is easy if you're playing it.

13:22

It's, you know, Lamar Jackson, Zay Flowers, Jacobs Lane, uh Mark Andrews so you have cheap ways to play this I mean for sure so I like all that yeah and I do think you can kind of you can double it up too I mean a lot of times with lamar you can it's only one guy I think you can play him play him with two Derrick Henry he should be relatively low on I think he's a fine player I mean the big questions in this game is like how do you play the Josh Allen stuff because he's getting OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership do you play him naked do you play him with with the guy DJ Moore, do you play him with Kincaid?

13:56

Do you play him with Shakir? That's the big question, I guess, in this one. And then if you are playing Baltimore stuff, how do you run it back? Is it just with DJ Moore? Is it with James Cook? So to me, I think despite having the big total, Like it is somewhat tricky to figure out how you want to play it. I don't know exactly how I'm going to do it today. It is the Josh Allen stuff is tricky. Maybe you just play it naked.

14:21

So I don't know. I mean, what are you guys thinking with the Josh Allen side? Are you guys thinking you have to run it back? I mean, it's a, it's a tough one to figure out despite the big total. Yeah, I think one of the interesting things, Title, I'll let you take it away after this, but I do think there's, you know, people are looking at it, you know, Lamar, Zay, and Lane.

14:37

But I'll be honest, because of the same thing Hoop just said about pairing up Allen, it seems like they're stopping there. Even though, what would we want to speed this up? We would probably want a big boy catch if Moore's in and playing. You'd want James Cook on the ground getting rolling and having something happen. So you'd probably want to put something in there to get it so we actually get the back and forth.

14:56

If you're expecting it to hit CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. It describes a big performance that could happen when things go well, not the expected score or an absolute maximum.Describe what must happen for each player to have a huge game. Then check whether those conditions help or hurt the other players in your lineup.Read the full definition of Ceiling outcomes, I'd be trying to add to that. The other thing title I think is, and I think Blickle talked about it yesterday on Leverage Lane, is you can do the two-two. Like you can do like the Josh Allen pick somebody and then get the Ravens guys in there because they're just like a little...

15:13

Affordable bucket you know you can get like a lane Andrews or as a lane or something like that and just account for it that way and hope that it's Josh Allen doing his own you know rush it in from the one rush it in from the five we always make fun of James Cook if he doesn't get it from twenty out probably not getting it right so take it away here title Ravens at the Bills how are you seeing this one what are you thinking about with this game yeah definitely tough for me and I've been going back and forth like my favorite play in a vacuum Zay Flowers but that's not seeking past anyone So then it's like, all right.

15:42

And then I go to, all right, ownership, who's my favorite? And I think it's Mark Andrews. And it just comes down to his $3,400 bucks going to be on the field a ton and allows me to get guys later, the Gibbs, the Pukas of the world. So he's my favorite way. And you can play him in a multitude of ways, whether it's just Mark Andrews in this game, just Lamar to Mark Andrews. Jacoby Lane's another one.

16:04

He's getting some ownership, but the Wandales, the Ion Moore, all of that stuff, he's in that range and he is out snapped. Like he's definitely taken over the wide receiver three role, ran a career high, or he had forty six snaps last Week. Pretty solid. I think he's a pretty solid player too. So leveraging off of Zay, I get two really cheapies in the $3,000 range. Lane Andrews, my favorites. I'm good with Derrick Henry. Nothing bad to say.

16:28

But the opportunity cost, you could have twenty six points and still not be optimal. I like him. I definitely like the Baltimore side more than Buffalo. And it comes down to getting it right. James Cook, it's just the price tag is up there. And then the Ty Johnson rotation, Josh Allen's threat to always rush it in. I'm out on him today. And yeah, what to do with Josh Allen?

16:48

I think if you're playing in a eight hundred contest man contest or less, you probably just play him solo because you don't have to be perfect. You're playing in bigger contests and that's even the main event stuff that probably even like a $4,000 or $4,000 man Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Read the full definition of Single-Entry. I'm probably playing them with someone because they're all relatively LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage. If he fully nukes, you hope he brings someone with.

17:09

But yeah, he doesn't have to because he can rush in two touchdowns and throw one to Shakir and one to Kincaid. So I think because of that reason, and of course his price tag, I'm just going to be with the field or UnderweightYou are underweight in DFS when a player, team stack or lineup combination appears in a smaller percentage of your entries than in the contest field's entries.Compare the same contest, format and roster slot. Use projected ownership before lock, then check actual ownership afterward to see whether your intended underweight stance held.Read the full definition of Underweight on Josh Allen and pretty much all Buffalo stuff. I like Ravens stuff more because I think it's more condensed. I like the price tags more. A Kincaid five, three Shakir five, six.

17:33

These are real pricing DJ more five, seven. Again, I'll have some, I like it more in larger field stuff for Buffalo because of ownership. And I like the Baltimore or Baltimore side, just more overall, mainly the three point $4,000 lane and Mark Andrews. Yeah, I like a lot of how you listed that. And I will say like it for me, it's probably more, you know, Josh out or if I'm doing it, I'm doing like Lamar with the double stack or maybe even a triple.

17:57

If I'm doing Josh Allen, it's probably like pick a guy. Hope I get it right. It's probably DJ Moore just because if he expecting him to play and you have a real ceiling, if it is the case, I'd want that full out from the other side that could allow me to get to Zay Lane, etc., But it's crazy though. That's what I mean about this game. You know, justice. I'm not, these are not DFS plays for today.

18:17

I'm just noting, if you're not on this game and you get a build that doesn't land anywhere in this, oh, but I didn't account for the huge total in that game. This is why it may or may not matter. It's just sometimes this is the case, but when you've got, and then you can mention Cuevas at tight end over there on the other side, they have been using that guy and pushing it to him. So it's like, I'm not saying to use them for DFS.

18:36

I'm saying when you have this many options in a game and it's that tricky, Sometimes you can just say, like, look at last Week. Again, Amun-Ra, you know, kind of until the end. I know Goff and J-Mo and those guys all ended up at the top, but it's like the whole game didn't really go the way that people expected it to. That can happen here where it spreads out as well.

18:55

With you on the Derrick Henry more than James Cook side, I thought the best point of all the good points that you made, Title, was about the... Opportunity cost at running back, you can give Henry and James Cook like twenty ish through almost through twenty three to twenty five.

19:12

And it's still not certain that they're going to show up because there's about eight to ten running backs ahead of them that are at really cheap costs that can get their own eighteen to twenty five and then be needed in a different sense. So that's something to think about as well. Anything extra after we talked about it that you wanted to add to your stuff? If not, you can take us into the Bengals at home versus the Titans. Yeah, nothing more to add in that one.

19:34

Bengals-Titans, another good spot. I mean, the Bengals projected to score right around thirty points. They're favored by a ton. No Tate on the Titans side, which opens up some super cheap value, like really, really cheap value. Obviously not stable, but they're going to get some OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership. The Bengals side, Chase Brown, is going to be owned for sure. I mean, it's a good spot. Really hasn't had the huge game. They're favored by almost two touchdowns at home.

20:00

Um, but you know, I kind of like flipping it a little bit and go with the borough stuff and it is going to be some somewhat owned, but like, you know, chase Browns going to get a lot of ownership, probably one of the more. Popular plays on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. What are we showing? Okay, we're showing around twenty, which isn't super, super. I guess there's just so many plays at running back.

20:17

The Raylan Allen thing becoming more realistic this weekend with the cryptic posts on X from Hall and then people expecting him to be out. Now he is Likely to be out of the race. What Rod Porter said, he is expected to be out. Is extra guys getting added in? Jonah Coleman, etc., etc. Carry on, but just so you know. Yeah, yeah. And you can play Chase Brown with Joe Burrow, too.

20:37

I mean, he's caught a lot of touchdowns in the past, so a lot of different ways to go with the Bengals. It's tough to see a scenario where they don't put up at least four touchdowns here. So getting some exposure is good. You can play Burrow with Chase and Higgins.

20:52

I don't mind doing that, like Burrow with Bolt, Chase, and Higgins, and then play two of the cheap guys on the Titans and just hope they get there in garbage time or somehow push the pace a little bit. And you have, like, super cheap options, Wandale Robinson, Io Manor, and then Gunnar Helm at $2,500. I mean, you see it all the time at the tight end position.

21:12

Just a $2,500 guy gets zero and the lineup is still fine just because it gets you so, so much. So, you know, you can Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack. And then still get some big boy studs on the slate if you want.

21:25

So I kind of like that approach to it, kind of going over on it and then get the studs on the slate and hope that the combination of two of those Titans guys is something, ends up getting you a decent amount of fantasy points. I am not allowed to speak on Tony Pollard anymore. I'm leaving that to you guys. I'm staying out of that one today.

21:46

I had to still egg up my face from last Week, so I'm sitting the Tony Pollard stuff out until you guys talk about him. But Bengals, I mean, really good spot.

21:54

I mean, you can play them – stack them you can stack them however you want you can over stack it uh One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off I mean it's a really good spot and hard to imagine a scenario with those guys don't have some offensive success Yeah, I would say this just for JM Eagles, like, you know, this is a good game to talk about this conversation because we're going to flip it to the Tony Pollard whisper.

22:14

But I mean, Tony Pollard, like people are going to say Chase Browns no good and all this stuff, but and he's still getting some ownership. Sure. But if there was to be a spot, this is where you would expect it to be. Will it happen? We won't know until we play that, you know, see the games play out. But that's why people are thinking about I think Higgins pretty good even as a one off.

22:30

I think it's interesting that he only kind of went up a hundred bucks after last Week. Another really good Week.

22:35

I know people want to get Ja'Marr Chase fed and all of that I think the Bengals d I talked about an earlier title uh on leverage lane yesterday about Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up at d this Week nobody's really doing it if you wanted a way to cut into the Chase Brown ownership we could just put the the Bengals d I don't I mean the Titans have the only guy that was moving the ball for them was tate through the air it looks like they're gonna have to move it through the air if bangles are gonna touch close to thirty points at home and I just don't see how that ends up or even gets closer works out if it does you'll want the game stack

23:03

So I'll let you take it away you were the Tony Pollard whisperer last Week you got that one quite right and it was an incredible game for him almost DK points Yeah, I mean, I hope people go right back to it because I'm jumping off. I mean, it's a little different when they're one point underdogs are sitting there at almost a coin flip against the Browns instead of twelve and a half point dogs on the road. And now he's showing double the ownership.

23:25

So, yeah, I'm going to let people chase the Pollard game. We play daily fantasy, NFL weekly fantasy. It's it's not you just keep riding your boys. I mean, I have with Michael Wilson. It's hurt me. So I'm starting to learn myself over here. So. What a great game, though. I mean, mainly on the bingo side. There's ever a spot for Ja'Marr Chase nuke. Been so bad for him. Burrow and him are boys. It feels like this is a one seventy two touchdown.

23:49

You need Ja'Marr Chase or you're not getting money. And I like it even more on FanDuel because the T. Higgins price tag, he's going to be even more popular over there. The gap is wider. So you're going to get Ja'Marr Chase even lower on. I love, love Ja'Marr Chase. I love Joe Burrow.

24:04

Even when they're up three touchdowns like they do not take their foot off the gas in this one or in really too many games as long as we don't get a stupid Drew Sample touchdown or any of that this going to his guys like we expect I think the bingles someone's on the winner sure it might be Chase Brown I'm gonna have plenty when they're implied for that many points and I think they move the ball at will and he can catch the ball out of the backfield I have nothing bad to say about him I just really, really like Ja'Marr Chase in this spot.

24:30

I like T. Higgins. And yeah, it's really easy when you play Burrow because you only have to mess with them, like Gesicki, whatever, in Burrow stacks and the largest field stuff. But most people probably aren't playing that many teams. Other side's tough. I guess, yeah, when I'm playing so many Bengals, I guess I have to play some Wando, some Ina Moore. Gunnar Helm, I do like the Gunnar Helm call. He's up there like eighty five percent of snaps.

24:52

If they're trailing a bunch, having to throw garbage time counts the same. No one's really playing him at tight end. So I love, love the Bengals stuff. Naturally, I'm going to get these Titans chalk and it's annoying. Just build it appropriately. But I'd be lying if I say I liked it. Yeah, I also think there's something to the Robinson stuff. I've talked about a little bit in the past of like when people say, oh, he's just a terrible player. He's all cash guy only or whatever.

25:15

Well, if you think that, then you should be using him in the stacks because then don't just one off him because you're saying he's not going to get to the real score. And if he actually hits the ceiling, it's going to make things move in this game. So as much as a guy like Iron Man or Robinson, people don't like to play them or they say it's just horrible chalk.

25:31

I think it's horrible chalk when you play just by themselves, because if they actually get to a CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. It describes a big performance that could happen when things go well, not the expected score or an absolute maximum.Describe what must happen for each player to have a huge game. Then check whether those conditions help or hurt the other players in your lineup.Read the full definition of Ceiling outcome, that means the Titans stuck with this game. That means Burrow and chase are probably going off or something else is happening there. And then I would say if Tyler was a betting man, I would just go bet the P Ryan two touchdowns. But I think these things are important to remember. This has been true on the goal line work stuff.

25:50

This is possible on the poaches and, you know, the vultures and taking the touchdowns. But I think when people see this, They go and plug in P Ryan into a lineup and say like, that could be a game changer could be, but also his twelve to fifteen points might not matter at all. Because again, like we said earlier, you can have your twelve other running backs.

26:08

If anything, it should be a reason that you might move off of Chase Brown and not play him. But then do you think the Bengals are still scoring the points? Because if so, to title's point, then you should probably be, and even Hoop was on it, heavy as well. It's like, then you want to start loading up the Ja'Marr Chase, Higgins, Burrow stuff. I don't have too much else to add in this one. Aya Manor, though, was out there before as well.

26:28

I will note that. So like, I know he's $3,000, it feels thin, but if you need a ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value play there, I guess that would make sense. I would prefer him in these lineups with Bengals to make the back and forth happen, as opposed to just saying, give me my cheap value and see what happens.

26:42

Title I'm going to stay with you because we mentioned uh you mentioned your boy Michael Wilson and he's in this next game it's the next big game of this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate it's the other one a lot of people and I think even more people talking about this one because when you talk about stacking versus that Baltimore Buffalo game this game feels a lot easier to stack up so we got the Cardinals at the Cowboys Cowboys at home scheduled to put up what looks like closer to their points but what's your thoughts on this game Yeah, phenomenal game to target for sure.

27:10

Dallas side feels easy, similar to like the Bengals side because you know where it's going. If it's Javonte, you don't really have to play Dak. I mean, he got there at the end last game, but. Touchdown favorites at home. A lot checks out as a workhorse back. If you're playing Dak, you got Pickens, you got CeeDee Lamb. And if you're really in large field stuff, trying to go floor and A, I don't hate it. He's out there a ton. Obviously you do need upside though.

27:33

And he's not in that $3,000 range. You're spending, you're overspending for him at low OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. It's easy though. I like Dallas. You're supposed to score thirty points. If Javonte's in your lineup, I don't love the Dak stuff. If you're playing Dak, I don't love playing Javonte with it. 27:54

Cardinal side, a little more difficult but I mean, I'm playing Jacobs Burnett at $5,700. How many times have we seen the garbage time or just he can keep pace. He almost did it against the Lions when the game was completely out of hand getting the bonus. He just has so many ways to get there. Trey McBride, I absolutely love. Yeah, but it's Kendrick Bourne now.

28:13

I hate to say it, like Michael Wilson will be in my pool, but $3,900 bucks for Kendrick Bourne. Single digit ownership right in that Tennessee range. And yeah, I think Bourne actually pretty good. So Kendrick Bourne, Trey McBride, Jacobs Burnett. Then you can pick any of the runbacks back there. I don't love Jeremiah Love. Michael Wilson fine at $6,200. But yeah, his prop for $6,200 at sixty yards receiving isn't great. He almost needs a touchdown.

28:39

So. Yeah, McBride born over my guy Wilson, but it's a great game to target. So many running backs on this slate. I wanted to make a case for Love. It's just really hard to. Obviously, it's a good spot. If he ever ends up actually getting the run that we would expect out of a draft pick that's that high, I would think that this could be a spot and it would make the game go. But you just said it.

28:59

There's so many guys in this game with Dak, Javonte, Lamb, Pickens, Flournoy, like that. On the other side, you've got Wilson, Bourne, McBride, and then Love is there. And then stacking up the Brissett stuff.

29:09

So who everyone was looking for the dac jersey over there with the Detroit stuff we'll get to that game next and go with you but what's your thoughts on the dac spot here first usually you're the the dac whisperer title's the Pollard whisperer go ahead that's an easy one today I mean you know title I kind of agree with basically everything he said it's just a phenomenal spot for Dallas I mean their offense just is is smooth against these shitty teams I mean we saw it last Week they just They can just roll.

29:35

They're at home here. Cardinals defense is buns. So, I mean, Dak, CeeDee Lamb, Pickens. And, you know, if you are playing a lot of Dak, I definitely include Flournoy in there as well. A title at a good stat. It was a showdown slate, but he's out there a ton. Like, he's out there a ton, and he gets opportunities, and it's just going to come down to him breaking one at some point.

29:57

It's going to be, you know, basically LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage on the slate with the value we have. So keep him in the mix for sure. If you're playing a lot of Dak in MME, Javonte Williams, I mean, the price is a little bit more than those other guys. And there's so many other good running backs like he has at $7,300. I think just a phenomenal, phenomenal play on the slate. I mean, twenty five carries last game like there's no competition for him.

30:20

If they have a lead, they will just grind his ass all the way down. They did it against Philadelphia.

30:26

Last game and he got the job done so uh love him I think he's a great Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back too like if you are playing the bursette stuff like he's he's a perfect guy to kind of have in there um and then on the Arizona side I mean Kendrick Bourne is a really good play I mean you have those Tennessee guys that are going to get a lot of the the cheap ownership Kendrick Bourne's in the game that everyone loves and is going to be really low owned on the slate um $3,900.

30:51

I don't know what's up with Michael Wilson. I mean, is he injured or what? I mean, I know he had he's got the tag. So, I mean, it hasn't been great for him lately. So, you know, if you are playing a lot of DAC stacks, like I think you definitely include them in the in the pool for sure. But it's, you know, Trey McBride, Bourne, I think both really good plays.

31:10

And like I said, I will have Wilson, but it's going to mostly be just in those Dallas stacks. So he has no designation. It's been Pickens, right? That's got the tag there. Wilson had something this Week. He was – Yeah, he got cleared pretty early, I think. Yeah. Friday or something, he got cleared. So we're good with him.

31:28

But I want to know more on Pickens, though, before – Um, we go, we go, what's the, what's your thoughts on using him in the stacks? Like, cause I think like lamb is definitely going to be more popular because Pickens had the tag all Week, but he's expected to play. It was a shoulder and hamstring, but he's just six, six hundred. He's kind of right there in the same range as Higgins and some of those other guys.

31:48

So, you know, fit them into some of the stacks, I guess. Right. Yeah, I mean, it's just hard, man. If you're playing like the deck stuff to not just go straight to CD, their connection is phenomenal. You know, then it's definitely him way over Pickens now. And then you got the injury stuff with Pickens. If you're playing a lot of teams and you're playing a lot of Dak, I mean, you definitely got to play some some Pickens for sure, but.

32:11

Man, if you're hand-building a team and you're just playing one Dallas stack, it's hard not to go DAC to CD. And if you think that's going to be the popular route, just do something different within the rest of your lineup. Yeah, it's tricky to get to. I think there's like lineups. I like Dak here for sure on this side more, and it's like Dak, Lamb, Flournoy. Then you can mix in McBride, Bourne, Wilson, whatever you want to do over there.

32:34

It would leverage the Javonte Williams, which I'm using in a bunch of other places for good reason. You can put Javonte into the Dak stacks too, but I just think it's somewhat of a different way to set it up. McBride, I think like McBride, Wilson are the two, you know, One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off that I could still see using or like use them in Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Read the full definition of Mini-Stack with just Javonte and just run this game that way.

32:57

But, you know, $6,200 for Wilson, I think I'd probably want him in this Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack more. And then same when you're stacking up the Brissett side, you can do Brissett, Wilson, Bourne, McBride, triples, even with Javonte or something like that. There's just enough value in the other spots at running back at defense at the other places. So Some interesting ways to stack this game. I like this game more than I do the Buffalo Baltimore one.

33:20

And like I said, if you end up going heavy on this one and say, oh, it sucks. I'm going this one. I'm not accounting for the other one. That's kind of okay. You're saying it's this one and not that one. And that's what you're going to be hoping for in those lineups. So if you have a portfolio, hopefully, you know, something else gets there. If this one doesn't for you, but if not, you're making that decision. And I like that decision for myself.

33:39

So how you play up to you. Oop, I'll stay with you. We're going back. You're rocking the Lions gear there. We got the Lions at home and probably one of the more interesting things of the slate. And I know there's something to be said for every game. And I get that. But Jameer Gibbs, you know, not going to be owned this Week, really, compared to what we usually see. And then also, doesn't everybody always want to play the teams going up against the Lions?

34:01

But you've got Kyler, Justin Jefferson, TJ Hawkins, quote unquote, revenge game. We don't, you know, more, more LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage or more narrative than leverage, but just to note it, there's, there's a lot of ways to go in this game, but it doesn't seem like anybody wants to go any of those ways. So what's your thoughts? Yeah. Yeah, I mean, this is a rare SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate where the Lions are on it and they're not going to be popular.

34:21

I mean, it's one of the best offenses in football whenever they're on a slate. Jameer Gibbs, super popular. Amon Ross St. Brown, you know, always gets around twenty percent OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership. Laporte is in play at tight end. Like this is the one slate where no one wants it because they're going against the Vikings and the Vikings have good defense. The one thing I will say, I'm always hard on my team for sure.

34:42

There's no doubt about it, but this just seems like a very good spot for the Lions. This seems like a Vikings reality check game here. They've kind of rolled through all with their defense. They've just beat up teams defensively and haven't done shit offensively, I think this is a really good spot for the Lions.

34:59

So, you know, my favorite bet, I guess, you know, we rarely throw out bets here, but I just the Lions to win the Lions minus three, whatever, whatever you want to do. Like, I think the Lions take care of business here at home. And it just seems like it's just a bad spot for the Vikings. So in terms of DFS, like, I don't know if Jameer Gibbs, it is a lot of opportunity costs. There's no doubt about it. Like, there's some really good ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value plays.

35:26

At running back you know if you're hand building it is very hard to plug in jameer gibbs like it is very uncomfortable you feel like you're giving up a ton of salary to play him but in mme you know it's a little bit easier and I'm obviously playing one fifty I'm sure you guys are as well like I just gotta be overweight on jameer gibbs at like uh what are we showing like fifteen percent or something seventeen I think it could be like fifteen so um I'll be overweight on him my other The other play that I really like in this game is Amonra at super low ownership.

35:59

And the reason I like him, I just wanted to verify, yeah, we're showing around ten. I think it's probably around ten on Amonra St. Brown. They're going to have to get rid of the ball quick. I mean, Goff is going to have to get rid of the ball quick. Vikings blitz a ton, and he's been better under pressure. Opposed to like last year. So, uh, I think Amon rock could have like.

36:20

Twelve catches for like, a hundred and twenty yards, a lot of short little slants and things like that. Uh, the play I don't like is Jamison Williams here. I don't like Jamison. I think, you know, like I said, I'm banking on golf, having to get rid of the ball quick. So it's probably a lot to Amonra, a lot to Gibbs and, you know, LaPorta, I think is fine at like no ownership. Uh, And where it gets difficult is whether or not I want to play golf.

36:44

And I don't know. I think I might get some. I mean, they're still projected to score twenty five. Like that's a that's a legit number. Like it is a tough matchup. If they do fully take away Gibbs, like could golf go three hundred and three? I think you could at home here is better at home. It's a tough matchup, though, so I will have some at low ownership.

37:04

In terms of runbacks, I just, man, this Vikings offense is just buns, buns, buns, buns, the definition of buns. If you're playing anyone, I mean, it would just be Jefferson, I guess, and I don't even know if I'm going to do it. So, yeah, that's kind of where I'm at in this one. Yeah, Title, I'm interested in your take on this. I think for me, stacking this, I'm wanting to just get to all of it or mostly none of it.

37:28

And the way I'm saying that is I would probably just want Kyler, Jefferson, Gibbs, and maybe Hawkins if I want to add in someone else just to make it work. But at the end of the day, I think it's just very interesting when you see a slate like this, so many places you can go, but the one place nobody wants to go is the place everybody usually wants to go, and it's affordable. It's your guy. Justin Jefferson over there. You love this guy.

37:51

I think this is a spot for him, and I think the Gibbs stuff is just so – interesting too because people you know act like oh the blitz and oh he can't do it like what if he just gets a bunch of checkdowns all day what

38:02

If he's what if he's also just the best fantasy player football we've seen in forever which has been the case and he's coming off a Week that people were disappointed in so you don't get him in this spot we have ways to get to him here it's definitely possible and any of these great fantasy players for what we care about can get us the points in tons of different ways especially on a full ppr site like draft king so give me your thoughts on this one and by the way Lions d I think pretty popular on FanDuel right this Week Yeah.

38:26

Yep. Cause they're very cheap for sure. At home, Kyler can make mistakes. That's a very good shout there. And Gibbs is a lot more popular on FanDuel, a lot easier to fit him than on DraftKings. Yeah. Yeah. This it's tough for the sense of like, I love Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up the three spend up receivers, Puka, CD, Ja'Marr Chase, and Zay Flowers.

38:44

And that when I spend up a wide receiver and I play multiple of them, it kind of gets me away from that Tennessee chalk. And when you're playing Gibbs, it's harder to spend up at receivers. So it's, Naturally, just because of Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It includes where you spend or save, which positions you prioritize, and how your players fit together.Build two versions around your biggest spending decision, then compare every player who changes. Revisit the comparison when injury news changes the available value.Read the full definition of Roster Construction and how I'm playing tournaments, it's a little harder to get to, but I'm totally in agreement with what you said.

39:01

My favorite way to play Gibbs is when I'm playing Kyler and Jefferson, just hoping, all right, Gibbs speeds up this game, home run ability, and they force Kyler and the Vikings to have more possessions. I mean, I always almost say Kyler to Jefferson single stacks defensively. Same thing as last Week. They're going to be nine percent Jefferson, like five percent Kyler. Is he going to win? Probably not. One of these days, though, they're going to get to the winner and win all the money.

39:27

Do I like it? Do I love it? No. Do I like it? It's fine at very low ownership. So I'm going to play some. I definitely like Kyler stuff more than golf. Because not only are you hoping Goff has a great game, then you have to get it right, which is really hard for the Lions. So I'm not playing any of that. Hawkinson, I don't mind as well, too, when you're playing Kyler's stuff. Then when you run it back, I think it's either Amun-Ra or Gibbs.

39:49

And I would have a Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back when I am playing Kyler's stuff, just hoping it's home run. And I do prefer Gibbs when I do so. Yeah, the problem is, though, yeah, like Lions, we always like playing this team and in the Dome and stuff. But there's no... The Vikings defense is legit. There's no doubt about that. And I do think the Vikings try and slow this game down a little bit to keep the Lions offense off the field. So I don't love it.

40:13

I don't hate it. I'm probably, like, right now looking at myself, I couldn't be, like, more even with the field with it. But we talk about that. You build better lineups. I'm playing Kyler Jefferson. I'm running it back. Not many are going to be playing Kyler or Jefferson. So, yeah, I'm curious to hear your take, Tambo. I'll just add one thing. Yeah, no, you broke it down good. I think Hoop was on it.

40:31

I agree with you on the Kyler Murray side heavier, and Hoop was kind of debating on the golf stuff. It is tricky. I like what you said about how it's hard to sort of put it all together. We don't really like JMO, like Hoop said, in that spot, so I agree there.

40:42

For me, the one thing that I think about is when you look at a stack like this and compare it, this is what I think people should do too when they're building with their Player PoolA player pool is the set of players you consider using in your DFS lineups for a slate, the games or events included in a contest. The term can also mean everyone available to select in that contest.Keep a replacement beside each uncertain player, noting the salary and position you need. Recheck those alternatives when news changes so your shortlist still produces usable lineups.Read the full definition of Player Pool and then putting it into an OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. It uses projected fantasy points, your settings and, in some tools, simulations to select combinations for a chosen goal.Build a small test batch first. Check which players and combinations repeat, and investigate why before increasing the lineup count or changing settings.Read the full definition of Optimizer. You're allowed to control the outcomes and the situations. What's another... Similar spend version of like a wide receiver with a quarterback and a tight end. So I'm talking about Kyler Jefferson Hawkins and then a running back on the other side.

41:04

And I think one of the ones that I just think about right away would be Lamar with Zay with Andrews and then plugging in someone like James Cook right to make it move like like you said that's what we're asking for James for Jameer Gibbs to do here make this game happen and then make the other side comes back well the extra that you got to spend on Gibbs is kind of like the extra from Kyler Murray you got to spend up to Lamar the Jefferson money is a hundred bucks less than a popular Zay and then yes the little bit of leftover Hawkinson's more than but also Cook is less than Gibbs.

41:37

And, you know, you add the money around. It's pretty close. It's not that crazy that you can't find it on this slate. So kicking it back to you now, Title, and then we'll go to the next game with you Colts of the Jags, unless Hoop has more thoughts. But I will say that's like my thought process on this. And I honestly feel like I would rather have Kyler, Jefferson, Hawkins, Gibbs, and Hope just to be so different and get all of it.

41:58

Like that's the way that when I'm sitting up top on the money in the main event, I'm like, okay. I got some breathing room. Cause no one's really on like the separation is clean there because you've got so much different stuff. Yeah. Just to circle back and you know, to, to, reanalyze after you guys talk through it. I definitely prefer the Kyler side. It's cheaper, number one. You know exactly who you're going with.

42:23

It's him and Jefferson, and then you've got those runbacks that are clear, and you have a little more rushing upside with Kyler as well. I'm with you guys. It's definitely the Kyler side. I prefer easier to stack, and then you know who the runbacks are, and it's going to be low-owned for sure, so I'm in on that side. Yeah, go ahead. That's that's good, too. I like that title. What were you going to say?

42:46

Oh, I mean, it's how often can you get the best running back in football under twenty percent? Top three receiver in football under ten percent. And yeah, it's freaking Kyler Murray. But it was just what two years ago, three years ago, Kyler. I mean, his upside was incredible.

43:01

Incredible they just haven't had to use that's also been the thing because their defense has been so good they haven't had to unleash Kyler and that's what you're hoping for playing Gibbs all right you blink an eye it's six minutes left in the first quarter and it's fourteen nothing you're down because Gibbs housed one and the lines were very efficient now you have the nuts grip for Kyler that's why we're talking about the run back so Yeah, it's low-owned, and you can easily make a case for it.

43:25

So I like this game, and I would definitely prefer what you said here than playing James Cook, Henry, blah, blah, blah, and that more popular game. All right, just got the Bills DJ Moore news so far. I'm assuming Kincaid will come up in one second, but it states that Bills DJ Moore has missed the past two games due to a shoulder injury, is expected to play. Last one on the Vikings lines, what would the next game make to you?

43:47

Days like this, thinking about the big guy in the sky, RIP to the big guy, but this would be a very or-he-could spot. Kyler Murray sucks. He's a midget. But, you know, and he can never have a good game or he could. Jameer Gibbs, best running back in football, lowest ownership we'll see in forever. He could never play good against this Blitz or whatever it might be, or he could.

44:06

And if you put those together, you know, or you could win a bunch of money with it. So I think that's the thing. You could never win money with it or you could. So I like that from that spot there. Let's go to the Jags at the Colts. Title. We've got Trevor Lawrence. We did get the Jacobs Myers news this morning. So he is playing. That was all we were waiting for in this one.

44:25

Been a bunch of Jonathan Taylor trade rumors and not sure how you figure out a Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. I don't think you're anywhere near the Danny Penny's situation. So talk to us about this one here. Jags at Colts might be one of the quicker games besides the Jags stuff. Yeah, Jags, and we're talking about the Jags. I mean, if you're playing a million teams, sure.

44:42

Otherwise, if you're playing fifty teams or less, just here with our partner OptimizerAn optimizer is software that builds DFS lineups within a site's salary cap and roster rules. Can't say the same about the Jags on five from the thirty points. Looking at low ownership, you guys could probably guess that my favorite play definitely is Parker Washington. Too cheap. All the upside in the world against a terrible team. Strange.

45:05

I think he's a very good play on both sides. $4,000 on DraftKings. And I like playing Trevor Lawrence and stacking both of them. If I'm not playing those two, I think Tootin at $5,900 is also a very solid play coming with some ownership. And I wish his snap share was greater than it has been. Chris Rodriguez does eat into it. But this Colts team, yeah, it's no secret that they're selling very hard, almost thirty points.

45:29

And if you look at the other teams, the Bills, Dallas, the Bengals, like Jags are getting way less ownership than all of those teams. And I do think it's still pretty condensed. I don't they don't love Jacobs Myers. I know he is playing, but I still think it's Parker. It's Tootin. And then Strange is interesting. So, yeah, just those four. Tout and tootin' is a thing this Week.

45:52

Blake was hard selling the Chris Rodriguez yesterday in this spot at $4,400. I know there's again, it was he did clarify, you know, opportunity cost and all of that stuff. But, you know, interesting spot here, Hoop, right? You got the Jag side.

46:05

Lawrence Washington Strange seems like an easy stack if you want to put tootin in it if you're not on those guys you could just One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. 46:31

They got to beat so much stuff. They got to beat everything. They got to beat Jameer Gibbs going off. You got to beat all these values that are super cheap. It's just so hard. For these backup running backs, guys getting limited snaps to do it. Because even if they do it, like let's say this guy Rodriguez gets... Use Corum for your example. Corum's had some big games, nowhere to be found. Nowhere to be found.

46:55

So even if a guy like Rodriguez gets two touchdowns, right? Like he still... Has a very good chance of not being needed or not even being anywhere close to optimal. So you can just, especially on this slate where I have so much value, it's tough. My favorite play though is Tootin. So, I mean, $5,900. I just think this is a game. The Jags are just like, OK, we're playing a team that's trading everyone.

47:18

Let's just take our win and get the hell out of here. We can beat them any way we want. So, you know, Tootin's my favorite way to go about it. But I will have Trevor Lawrence, Parker Washington, Strange, Stacks for sure in my one fifty. But, you know, my preferred play is definitely Tootin here. But they're going to be able to do get their twenty nine, thirty points, however the hell they want. So I want, you know, all these pieces in my Player PoolA player pool is the set of players you consider using in your DFS lineups for a slate, the games or events included in a contest. 47:44

Yeah, this is what Ross said. I'm in on this. I did bet this, by the way, too. That's about as far as Blickle sold me on this one. No further. Like Hoop said, it's really tricky in the other stuff. And like I said, I even think he sort of backtracked a little on like the opportunity cost stuff just because even more opportunities. You know, Alan came up with the hall of news.

48:03

Like there's a lot more going on in this slate at running back, but I don't mind that if you're not on a, you know, if you're not on toot and I like this, I will say this title, I'm stacking this game more than I'm playing the running back. So I don't know if you had anything else to add here before the next game, but I do prefer the, Lawrence, Washington. I loved your point, by the way, about the Myers. Who knows if they even like him?

48:22

They were mixing Hunter in before the bye and saying maybe he'd have a role. I don't think I've got him right now at $3,100. Someone said Josh Cameron going to win some of the money. You've got Brian Thomas Jr. All these different things like I don't know. I'm just I like keep it clean.

48:38

And I'm usually I talked about this but if I'm playing Washington I'm playing for the full CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. It describes a big performance that could happen when things go well, not the expected score or an absolute maximum.Describe what must happen for each player to have a huge game. Then check whether those conditions help or hurt the other players in your lineup.Read the full definition of Ceiling outcome I want Lawrence I want Washington I want Strange just put up the points against these guys if you want to run it back with somebody you could put them in there but it's really hard to figure out who it would be for sure yeah I mean Josh Cameron was a stud at baylor but I mean jacoby I think would have been had to been out to get there they don't like brian Thomas hunter's just not getting the snaps it just feels Parker, Strange, Tootin'.

49:05

And then, yeah, the thing with Trevor Lawrence, and you do play them, even if he throws a touchdown to one of those randoms, it helps him out. And single-digit ownership. He has QB sneak upside, rushing upside. Yeah, I think these Jags are under-owned. All four of them, I think, are under-owned for their Team TotalIn NFL DFS, a team total estimates one team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. Shalhoub likes Tyler Warren. Shout out to Shalhoub Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. 49:30

So maybe if you want to ride the hot hand with Shalhoub, not for me. Yeah. I think you just X out the Colts. Yeah. All right. Let's go to this next one. Then title. I'll stay with you there. We've got the Jets at home versus the Raiders, the, the sneaky game. Right. But now we've got Braylon Allen who won't be so sneaky anymore, but this was, this was the game.

49:49

I think a lot of people were looking at like the total and, is sitting that in that forty five forty seven range like we talked about it's been hovering and different things all Week but just to note it it's not really about that it's it's this game is very much of a tight Target ShareTarget share is the percentage of a team's targets (passes thrown toward an intended receiver) that go to one player. A receiver who sees 8 of his team's 32 targets has a 25 percent target share.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share like if it goes that way great if it doesn't throw that line up in the garbage and move on but it definitely can stack up easily from both sides kind of know where the ball is going Yeah, man, it's tough for me.

50:13

Yeah, Braylon's good, but he's getting a bunch of ownership. I wouldn't even be surprised if he gets steamed. So Tootin might be like eight percent less or something. Ramondre is still good at running back. Chase Brown. I'm a little a little nervous, especially because he doesn't catch a ton of passes. Garrett Wilson, we talked about last Week, like he's LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage off of Braylon Allen. Sure, he's really low on. I'm fine with it. I don't love it.

50:35

I prefer other really – give me Kyler over Geno. Can Amar Cooper keep doing it? I don't know. I'm probably not going to pay to find out. It's a tricky, really tricky spot. Brock Bowers, sure, but I love Trey McBride if I'm Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up. And, again, more people do like it. But I agree with the ownership gap there. I think, to be honest, my favorite play in this game might be just Raiders defense and hope we get the old Geno.

50:59

Because what Raiders defense does is you expect the Jets to be from behind. Braylon Allen, the ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Read the full definition of Chalk, isn't getting his twenty five plus touches. And if Geno has to drop back a bunch, I mean, yeah, Geno can make all the mistakes in the world. So $2,500 not getting they're getting some ownership, no doubt. But I think it's really good because it leverages off of Braylon stuff. I don't like this game as much as the field does.

51:22

Just to clarify on Allen by himself, just using him in your pool. Yeah, I'm fine with it, but he's like just when you do that play, that's maybe when Kyler and Jefferson. I don't like playing Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb. He's going to be really highly owned. I think he's better when you're getting a little different elsewhere, and usually that is at stacks. But I have nothing bad to say. I just hope the Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. In football, teams protecting a lead often run more, while teams chasing a deficit often pass more. Before locking a lineup, ask who keeps playing if your expected script reverses. Check passing-down roles and backup rotations instead of assuming a team's leading rusher handles every situation.Read the full definition of Game Script.

51:45

More than Likely, I'll probably be a little underweight, and then I'm hoping he just gets game scripted out since he is more game script dependent than most running backs. Yeah, this is a really interesting spot. I like all that breakdown, Hoop. I'll let you get your thoughts on it here, but again, just a couple different ways you can go about this one, I think. What are you thinking here, Hoop? Yeah, it's kind of a tough one just because it is a nice total.

52:07

I mean, sitting in the You look at the Raiders side, and it's like they have so many wide receivers, so I don't want to play Kirk Cousins. Bowers is very expensive. I prefer Trey McBride over Bowers. On the Jets side, now they just have so many guys. It used to be easy when it was like Garrett Wilson in terms of the passing game. Now Omar Cooper is showing up and having massive gains, and now the price is up on him.

52:37

They still got Mitchell, two tight ends, Mason Taylor, Sadiq. It's like... Now it's just like too many ways to go. So I'm mostly out on this one. Unfortunately, it's just going to be like Braylon Allen. You can play Jets defense. You can play the Raiders defense. But it's not going to be too much just because there's just too many different ways for these quarterbacks to go. And I'm always good to play some quarterbacks.

53:00

Geno Smith but it's just it's it's more difficult now it used to be easier when it was just all right you know he has a chance to pepper Garrett Wilson well it's like not the case now so it's just uh it's hard to figure out so I'll be out yeah I'm gonna play I'm gonna pay to find out here like somebody said yeah I mean I'm gonna get some I'll end up getting some jet stacks for sure I'm all all for it it's cheap it's different um I'll I'll have some but

53:27

I don't know what it will be I guess yeah that's the thing like again like people always are looking for it um our guy shout out to to tiger vault twenty three josh over at dfsos.com you guys can check it out and use code ship that's where we're getting all our news from so uh you guys can see it there but I'm not looking for these diamond in the roughs in this game I'm going with I'm just paying to play like no one's here anyway so especially with the allen news even steaming up him up further it's just gino Wilson cooper Brock Bowers or Gentee or Tucker.

53:55

Pick your poison. I probably prefer Brock Bowers just because he hurts. And then I can figure out which Arizona guy I want to use because I'm hoping Bowers not only stuffs it on the position, the onesie position, but he also crushes Trey McBride. So that makes it easy. The other thing I think is interesting is everyone just going to run to Braylon Allen. And I think you need a little bit of a back and forth here if that happens.

54:17

And there is a decent, I mean, twenty four points on the road for the Raiders. That's high for them. And, you know, they've already made their I like the news that came out. It's it's like weird news, random news. I don't even care about news usually just noting it. But people were worried a little bit about. Um, Fernando Mendoza, right? And what, who's going, he's going to get his shot and the Raiders are sticking with Cousins. They've made it very clear.

54:37

We're sticking with them. He's got a bunch of touchdown passes, tons of yards. You can get those here. So I like, you know, Cousins, Tucker Bowers, Allen Wilson. And if you're stacking the other side, you can go Gino Wilson, Cooper, Put in Brock Bowers, but I'm playing for the game to go off. And again, this is another one. If it does, you know, that's the whole point. If it doesn't, you're in trouble. But I think it's just a little more clean cut.

54:59

I'm not worried if these guys get me, they can, but I'm not worried about Nailor, Jack Bash, Adonai Mitchell, Mason Taylor, all capable. I'm not saying that Michael Meyer, the day after Halloween, I get it. Like all these things I'm playing for the full, full setup here. And I'm playing for it just to be the guys that we would know and expect. And nobody's playing these guys like Kirk Cousins, one to two percent. Trey Tucker, two, three percent. Brock Bowers could be five percent.

55:24

I'm not going against my stance because of a couple of bad weeks that he's not as good as we know he is. Hopefully the coaches figure it out for once. You know, Gino, four percent. Garrett Wilson, sub ten. Omar Cooper, no way he could do it again. Remember the year we said that about Nick Westbrook Akins for nine weeks and he did it like eight of the nine. It's like this is the whole point.

55:43

So there's a couple of guys out, too, for the Jets. I'm not the best with the defensive stuff. But there's a lot of sharper people talking about the two guys. One guy's out, one guy's doubtful, I think, for the Jets D. And then the spot for Jeanty, if there was ever a spot. But he can catch passes too. So I'm going to be overstacking this spot for this slate.

56:01

And I don't have as much passion about some of the other games when I'm doing this. This game for me was last Week with the Cleveland spot. And Deshaun Watson ended up also almost winning me a Milly. So hopefully get the same outcome. But I'm definitely in. On this Raiders jet spot. David Bailey is, I didn't know that he's doubtful. That's their second. He's a monster.

56:20

I'm not the best, biggest defensive guy and all that too, but that does, that does change things for Kirk Cousins to have more time. Adds more time. I think, again, that's another thought that you just said there that reminded me. I like a lot of people. That's where I get my brain works differently sometimes than others. But like everyone was talking about that stuff for Gentee. Gentee's just been buns like it's been horrible. He got that touchdown last Week. It's great.

56:42

Good. Good for him. I'm thinking about other factors of what that can mean. And can it help with the back and forth? And now he looks hurt, man. That ain't like he he does not look one hundred percent. He's forcing it for sure. It's been talked about. They've went into it all. You hear people messing with it. He's just trying to get out there and be there for his team. It was like it was time to shut it down.

57:01

I don't know how these players, how much say they actually get to have. It seems like a lot more than you think. We're like, hey, I'm playing coach and they don't get to. You think all the people putting up all the money are the ones that make all the decisions, but it seems like he's just putting himself out there. But I digress. We'll go to the next game title. I'll stay with you. They already posted in the chat. Jalen Warren, big birthday today.

57:21

You know, the narrative street stuff comes out on Sunday after Leverage Lane hits the docket on Saturdays. But Jalen Warren not getting much ownership this Week. Got Dowdle there as well. Steelers D do look to be the preferred Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up when people are paying up. And then nobody really messing with the Browns stuff this Week. You know, DK Metcalf, Jeremy Bernard getting a little bit, but not a lot. Aaron Rodgers here. I don't know. What's your thoughts on this game? Yeah, it's more individual pieces.

57:48

I don't mind DK, Bernard, Warren all in a vacuum just by themselves. Just a One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. An opposing receiver intentionally paired with your stack instead serves as a bring-back.Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off, all of them single-digit ownership, ways to get different and chalkier builds.

57:59

Man Warren especially like looking at his price it's really annoying with rico and you never like it last Week it was sixty three forty four split but the Week prior is seventy five twenty seven I'm hoping it's more like two weeks ago because he's right in that range of Chase Brown gonna get way more ownership bucky gonna get more ownership they're both cheaper and then Derrick Henry a little more giovante a little more he's just in a zone that he cannot be played and we're talking good at football.

58:26

Jalen Warren as good as football is pretty much anyone can catch passes out of the backfield. Can it take one for seventy five yards? So I'm going to play some Jalen Warren as three point favorites at home and hope Big Mike figures it out and he's much better than Rico. And then, yeah, you can play him with Steelers defense. Like you said, that's a way to eat into some of the chalkier stuff when I'm not playing him.

58:46

Again, Bernard, DK, Metcalf, I'm fine with it. It mainly comes down to their single-digit ownership. No one's playing them, and it's very condensed on that side. With all that being said, then Rodgers will throw a back shoulder to Darnell Washington and tilt us. So, yeah, I hate the Brown side, though, that's for sure. It's crazy, too, because it's not even like a really a strong way with these Browns this Week, at least in my opinion, to LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage this Steelers defense.

59:11

You just I think you just can PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. Tournament pivots usually seek comparable scoring upside at lower ownership, meaning fewer competing lineups use them. Before swapping, check what the replacement changes around it: your remaining salary, teammates, opposing players and available later-starting options.Read the full definition of Pivot off the defense if you don't like them at that ownership. I would just pivot off them because it's not it's not something that I'm saying like, oh, man, I really would feel good. Still running up against this defense with a stack. Like maybe later when we get to these afternoon games, if the Chargers are going to be double digits, I could see like, okay, I can get to Rams in Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Read the full definition of Late Swap.

59:30

I could start with them and then move off them. Like there's so many things that you could do there. This would not be the case for me, hoop. I'll kick it over to you. Um, anything you want to add here, you know, with Steelers at home versus the Browns. Yeah, it's tough. I mean, it's a, it's a low total game here.

59:45

Uh, man, Jalen Warren been great, but like now the price tags up and there's just so many good running back plays, but you know, that's going to factor into his ownership as well. So yeah, I probably want to get some Jalen Warren DK Metcalf. I think good price tag, good play has to have a monster game at some point, I would assume maybe today.

1:00:08

And then Bernard, like the prices is up on him, but man, like he can get, you know, we've talked about it and there's breakout game. Like, When Aaron Rodgers finds a guy he likes, he'll just keep going to him, and that's kind of the case with Bernard. Way better price on FanDuel. Yeah, the FanDuel price, way better. Game obviously fits DK scoring better, but, you know, it's fine. He scored touchdowns. I mean, he had the touchdown, too.

1:00:34

Uh yeah you know probably just individual pieces uh who's my favorite uh probably DK

1:00:40

Metcalf at at good price I like Warren and Metcalf here you know Steelers D if you get them in some play them accordingly maybe Steelers D with Warren that's another thing too you could do and it's not even comparable to me from last Week because that's results oriented but Tennessee D all the ownership last Week and then you got Spears news and still nobody really moved on DraftKings to Pollard it's like not that you have to play them together I'm just saying sometimes people will see a running back be popular and then the defense is

1:01:08

Not getting owned and that can be a way to get different with it I always call it the slice and dice the Steelers D if you wanted to slice into them today probably would be with Warren or just pivoting off them I like the DK Metcalf one-off call Jeremy, awesome. The new age Randall Cobb, if you will, we're talking about for the way Aaron Rodgers is handling him.

1:01:26

But Metcalf getting inching closer and closer, just five hundred bucks now in the difference as a one off, I think is fine, too, on this slate. Just $5,400 on DraftKings. So, yeah. Don't hate that. All right. We've got one more game left in the morning window hoop, and I'm going to stay with you. It is the Falcons at the Buccaneers. The chat's been going off about this, like many people in the chat today. Tom, we appreciate all the viewers.

Opportunity costs, so many running backs, et cetera, et cetera.

1:02:08

But still no Brian Robinson Jr. over there for them. Last Week, everybody wanted Bijan. What do you think about Bijan Robinson? Then talk to me about the rest of this game here. Bucks at home versus the Falcons. Yeah, I mean, similar to Gibbs. I mean, it just has to be lower owned than normal. Let's see. I mean, we got, you know, thirteen. I think it could be ten at the end of the day. And for a guy like Bijan, that's just just too low.

1:02:36

And similar to Gibbs as well, where it's going to be easier to play him if you're building a ton of lineups, like if you're hand building a team. It's very hard to click the Bijan name at $8,500. I mean, you're going to probably three running back is going to be very popular and rightfully so. But it's not going to be Bijan.

1:02:54

It's not going to be Gibbs because people are going to go to those $5,000 guys, $6,000 guys and even a $4,000 guy and Coleman that we'll talk about. So. Has to be LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage and just has to be a good play. I mean, anytime these studs are low-owned, like, they're just – they're good plays. And like I said, it's easier to play if you're building Multi-EntryMulti-entry means entering more than one lineup into the same contest. A contest's entry limit, such as 3, 20 or 150, sets how many lineups one user can submit.Set your total spend for the slate first, then divide it into entries. Multi-entry should spread a fixed budget across more outcomes, not raise how much you put at risk.Read the full definition of Multi-Entry. You know, Bucky on the other side, really good player guy. Where's Nades? Yeah, Nades likes Bucky.

1:03:18

I think, yeah, Bucky's a fine play. And, again, ownership has to be held in check. You know, the Braylon Allen news or, you know, the Brees Hall out news definitely has – even further spread out ownership at running back. So these these guys, Bijan Bucky, I think both Good plays. Drake London. I've gone back and forth on the Baker stuff, and I'm going to kind of let you guys determine what I do.

1:03:40

I wanted to play him just because the nice thing about the Baker stacks is it's cheap without Igbuka in there. Very cheap. And you just have the clearest of clear runbacks. It's like, give me Bijan at low ownership. Give me Drake London. So you can stack this one up, and it's very, very cheap because the quarterback is cheap in Baker and His pieces are cheap, but man, like they just haven't done anything.

1:04:05

So it is somewhat annoying there, but at low ownership, I think I'm interested as long as you guys give me the green light. So let me know. I'm yellow over here. So I'm going to tie up for the yellow and it's bad for the blue crew championship. Shout out again to the Milwaukee Brewers getting it done. But I will say this one, man.

1:04:25

Like it's everyone everybody wanted you wanted Bijan you wanted Jake London you wanted Ted Hurst you want all these different but no scores came with any of them when we've been on them but now you get what could be a competitive game I will say you brought up the weather earlier you know a quote-unquote downpour potential but you know for Bucky and Bijan then maybe at least that's the case but how are you handling this one what are your thoughts on this game final game of the morning slate then we get those three afternoon games coming up shortly Yeah, I think just naturally looking at my stuff, I'm going to be overweight because there's a lot of low-owned or pretty low-owned pieces.

1:04:57

No one's shown to be above twenty percent. Drake London is an eighty receiving yard prop. It's very condensed there. Bijan, we know where it goes. And yeah, to be honest, the rain, like someone mentioned, is Forty-six and a half, I think it opened. Forty-three and a half now. The thunderstorms, though, I look at it as a boost to a guy like Bijan because he knows where he's going. It's easier for him to cut. It's harder for the defense to react. The home run hitting ability from Bijan.

1:05:22

And at this point, I know I kind of joke around about it, but chalk Bijan fail. Lowish on Bijan. Hammer. That just seems what happens. And he's going to be low-ish owned today. On the other side, yeah, Bucky, $6,400 good. I think Kate Otton, probably my favorite on the Buck side. I like two tight ends a lot on this slate. The reason for that is they're very, very cheap compared to wide receivers.

1:05:46

$3,400 for the number two target, but it allows me to spend on Bijan, Puka, Gibbs, Seedy, Chase. I like the Stars and ScrubsStars and scrubs is a DFS lineup structure where you spend heavily on several expensive players and fill other roster spots with low-salary players. The cheap players free up salary for the stars; they are not necessarily bad players.Compare the points you gain by upgrading to a star with the points you sacrifice at the cheap spot. Check whether both players still fit your lineup's scoring scenario.Read the full definition of Stars and Scrubs build more, and playing double tight end allows me to do that. Always on the field. Yeah, Tez Johnson. Everyone wanted these guys last Week. No one wants them this Week, and I get it. But, yeah, we play an ownership game, and especially with all these very Top-Heavy PayoutsA top-heavy payout structure gives a large share of a contest's prize pool to the top few finishers, leaving smaller prizes for everyone else who cashes.Read the payout table, not just the prize pool. The share of prizes that goes to first place should decide how much risk your lineup takes.Read the full definition of Top-Heavy Payouts, the fifteen hundred, the twenty dollar stuff.

1:06:11

I like it more, I think, in larger field. Drake London, Bijan, Otton. And then, yeah, I like Falcons defense, though, quite a bit. When you're not playing Buck stuff with the rain, Baker can make a ton of mistakes. It sets up very well for Falcons and Bijans. So, Yeah, plug my nose. I'm going to be overweight. Probably everyone but Godwin. At this point, I'm just done with Godwin in twenty twenty six. Yeah, it's looking for a CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. It describes a big performance that could happen when things go well, not the expected score or an absolute maximum.Describe what must happen for each player to have a huge game. Then check whether those conditions help or hurt the other players in your lineup.Read the full definition of Ceiling outcome.

1:06:36

It's again, I think if you're doing that, kind of want to be thinking about putting him with Baker because if Godwin had an actual needed game on an eleven game main slate in the year twenty twenty six, almost twenty twenty seven, you would probably need to have everything with it to go there. And then you could just put in Bijan to speed it up.

1:06:52

I like more of what you said, like if you had like a Bijan Kate Otton and even if it does get choppy in the weather, the best part was you said with the thunderstorms. So it's like, is he dodging the loud thunder? But he could be causing thunderstorms with all his aggression on the ground and beating it out. But I know what you meant with the weather. It was just funny how it was said.

1:07:09

But I will say Bucky or Bijan, Cade, either defenses, that's what I'm thinking about. If the stacking goes wrong and it's this one instead of the other game I was on earlier, you guys know where my passion was. I'm on the other game with Kirk and those guys when I'm looking at these comparable games.

1:07:25

Setups but I think you can get Bijan into those lineups no problem or something like that as well that's another thing shout out long time uh you know long time miss um we haven't seen hofbrau in a little while but uh shout out to hofbrau he says about Jonathan Taylor I think we talked about it earlier but if you're putting Jonathan Taylor out there I want him in the um Jacksonville stacks more than by himself and you're just you're ignoring the trade rumors saying that he's a professional.

1:07:48

He's going to go out and play football when he gets his snaps and gets out on the field. I think what people always worry about and what we talked about earlier is like, you know, is the ownership or the coach is going to stop him and not put him out there? It's too hard to tell. We wouldn't know. But if he's playing and he's a go, like it says, and he is, then you kind of just got to roll with the punches and take on the risk.

1:08:06

That could really work in your favor, especially I was pretty high on those Trevor Lawrence stacks. So I'm sure he'll get into some of those. All right. That wraps up the morning title. I'll start with you for the afternoon. The first game up is the Rams at the Chargers. You know, you said earlier, like nobody on the slate's over twenty five percent. It feels like, again, higher stakes. We'll get some movement.

1:08:26

Of course, we'll see with the late news how high a guy like Braylon Allen or some of those guys get. But Puka Nacua, pretty good receiver. $8,600 bucks. You know, Rams at home versus the Chargers. What do you got with this one? I mean, yeah, Puka. Puka and no one else. But I think Puka is one of the best players on the slate. This dude is just a man amongst boys, favorites at home. I mean, he can get a rushing touchdown.

1:08:49

He's just going to get fully peppered all game. I could argue. $8,600 is way too cheap. So, yeah, I talked about it. Puka's Ja'Marr Chase, CD Lambs, a flowers. I do like you Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up. Wide receivers quite a bit. And that does lead me to some double tight end stuff. I'm not going to make a case for anyone, of course. Can Kyron get there? Yeah, sure. He's $7,500. You can make a case for these guys every Week.

1:09:11

Puka, only Puka. And I love Puka. I'm curious about the rush, like the rushing game here, Hoop, when I kick it over to you, like the Kyron versus Corum stuff we talked about earlier. I mean, someone else came back and said it too. It was like, hopefully someone, you know, a backup running back could be good for a touchdown, might be a good dart. No, that's the opposite. That's what Hoop said earlier. Like if you get a touchdown out of them, you're in really bad shape.

1:09:32

You could still be in bad shape if you get two out of some of these guys. And I used Corum because he said, Corum had a great game last game, could have been even better. And it was still a Kyron lineup that clipped me at the top of the Mills to take out $100,000 and drop down from there. So it's like, that's the setup of like these backups doing well, but who this rushing spot could be good.

1:09:52

People are a little bit on the Chargers D nobody wants anything to do with the Chargers. They are coming out of a buy. And then you've got, you know, Stafford, Puka, Higbee, we're waiting on the Parkinson news, but we'll get that before the afternoon. So give us your thoughts here on this one. Puka phenomenal play, really good play on the slate. And, Kyron Williams at low ownership, very low ownership. And it could even go lower.

1:10:16

I want some, I mean, they're favored by seven against this horrible Chargers team. Matthew Stafford stuff's a little bit tough. I mean, it's obvious to pair them with, with Puka, but man, I just want them in a game where someone's going to push back and the Chargers just, man, they just, they are, they are buns, buns, buns, buns. So it's, it's difficult. So yeah, really, it's going to be just Puka and then I'll have some Kyra in that virtually no ownership.

1:10:42

Yeah, I think a lot of us are the same way. Another thing people have to recognize here is this is going to be a potential for a Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Read the full definition of Late Swap spot. And I think it'll be late. It'll be people that have started with Drake May line. So we'll get there at the end. But I'm saying that's kind of it. Nobody's really on Malik Willis, Patrick Mahomes, Bo Nix, Justin Herbert.

1:11:00

Or Stafford really to start I know the rain is talking people off of the Patriots game we'll get there shortly of the drake may stuff but obviously when you already have um a receiver and a running back out and you can sort of tighten that Target ShareTarget share is the percentage of a team's targets (passes thrown toward an intended receiver) that go to one player. A receiver who sees 8 of his team's 32 targets has a 25 percent target share.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share up a little bit I think that's what is going to have people a little bit of ownership there so there's some late swap opportunity to go to the Stafford stuff but for me right now it's puka if I did go a Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Read the full definition of Mini-Stack I think it is interesting we got uh actually we got um a little bit of baby swag on the way we got lad the dad he's incoming posted it the other day.

1:11:32

So maybe he gets fired up off of a buy healthy again at just $5,300. I will say just before we go to the next game about Ladd McConkie, he was a guy we were charting his price going up when the season started. And then it was like, OK, injury and all this stuff. Obviously, you can't do that. You got to go back to square one. But, you know, we were seeing him.

1:11:49

He was the only guy that could do anything in the game or two that he had there. So for them, I will say that. So if you were going here, Puka, Ladd, And then Kyron, like Hoop said, but it's really tricky when you got Corham eating up half the work. And Corham at $5,000, you could say him, but he hasn't even been needed when he's had big games already. So it's tough.

1:12:08

But Stafford, Puka, Higbee, Ladd for a late swap, you could set that up and then be able to get over to the Patriots stuff or... This next game, but title, I'll go to you. Broncos at the Chiefs is that middling game in the afternoon. Doesn't seem like a lot of love here outside of Jonah Coleman.

1:12:24

And then of course the Broncos D being the top owned, maybe the top owned D on the slate and definitely the top owned value D even more than the Chargers that we just talked about. Yeah, I mean, I really hope I'm in first place after these noon games because these games are not very fun or appealing. Jonah Coleman, Broncos defense. I don't love it, though, to be honest. I think that pairing is very popular and it opens up a lot of stuff.

1:12:47

He's $4,300. So I get that and I'll have some. But I mean, J.K. Dobbins is still there. I think if they are at a lead, they probably pound him a little more. Broncos defense, sure, but a ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Read the full definition of Chalk defense, chalky, but yeah, the position they're chalky on a slate like this doesn't really feel too appealing either, and I'm definitely not playing anything on the Chiefs. I say that. I play a bunch of teams.

1:13:10

If I have a winner with Kelley or a Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Read the full definition of Late Swap, sure, but on paper, this game is terrible in my opinion. Yeah, a couple of things there. I mean, I mean, just jokingly, we're talking about chalk. I mean, this could be I could see the Broncos be twenty percent plus in the main event today. I know fifteen hundred dollar tournament. I'm just saying it's like they're popping hard, hard, trying to jam into everything because there's $2,300 bucks. They let you get to everything else.

1:13:31

Like it's definitely a thing there. So I think that's interesting. It makes for, I guess, again, opportunity cost is just crazy on this slate at running back. But Kenneth Walker, $8,800 going up against the chalk D. Whatever you want to say about matchup, but even then it's not like the Broncos have had a crazy, you know, rush D this season. And then the spot here of them just going against it, that, that could be some afternoon sweat for some people.

1:13:55

If you've got Kenneth Walker for, or against, you're going to be in trouble if that's going down the stretch, but yeah, Um, yeah, we'll, we'll think about, I'll kick it over to hoop here in a second. Long, long time viewer. I appreciate Avery always being here, you know, spitting out the takes in chats as speaking of fatherhood, my daughter was born on Friday. So congrats to you girl, dad season over there. And then, um, congrats. Yeah. Congrats for sure.

1:14:17

There was something else there said, Oh, Philly fingers. We talked a little bit about this quorum. So a couple of things, one in a blowout, he's, you know, last Week could have been a more of a blowout and it wasn't, and it still wasn't certain. And then, I don't know, it was tough last Week. Cause it was Kyron.

1:14:29

They, it almost was like they punished him for the media comments in the first quarter, but then they pulled them back out there with three minutes to go. And it was a done deal. Like they're just killing the clock and they had Kyron out there just running off the clock. So it's really hard to say, but yeah, This was the only other thing here, Hoop, I wanted to send it over to you with.

1:14:47

I was going to mention this, is Walker crushed Denver to start the season. He's part of their defensive rank against rushing, being so horrible just seven weeks in, I know, but just noting it, it's only an eight-game regular season. But did they adjust for that? Did they sell out for that and say, let's see if, you know, Rashi Rice, who you've talked about a little bit in the past in different ways, can these guys get me and just let our defense do the rest?

1:15:10

Or what are you thinking here with this one, Hoop? Yeah, it's just probably the worst game on the slate from a fantasy perspective in terms of finding plays, the overall Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. Like, yeah, if you want to play Kenneth Walker, he's going to be – I don't even – it's got to be, what, three percent or something? I mean, it's going to be a small number. Yeah, we've got six. Like, it's going to be a small number. I just – man, it's tough.

1:15:35

You're not only playing him over, like, all the ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value plays on the slate, you're playing him over Jameer Gibbs and over Bijan Robinson. Uh I won't be getting there I won't be getting to anything on the the chief side you know kind of like what title said like if I get some of it mixed in sure if there's like late swap stuff yeah maybe but yeah it's just Coleman I mean honestly Coleman fine.

1:15:58

I just I don't even love him as a play here because, again, it's like you still have Dobbins in the mix. It's going to be popular. The pairing him with Denver defense is going to be very popular. That together, like you said, like this is at $2,300. The Broncos defense is definitely going to be the most popular on the slate. Very popular. I don't know. I just don't love anything in this game. And I'm going to have Coleman, but I don't love it.

1:16:22

I mean, I don't know. It's just not a good game at all. Yeah. I think a lot of people will be sitting on the Coleman Broncos D pairing, just waiting to go to the afternoon. I mentioned that in the newsletter this morning, you guys can subscribe to it over at shipitnation.com. It's free as well. You get the blueprint with it. But I said like, there's nowhere to go with that. There's no late swap.

1:16:42

If you're sitting on Coleman and Broncos, you're playing Coleman and Broncos. So the only option you have is if you have Coleman in the flux and you go to Hunter Henry, but Hunter Henry is going to be popular too. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, there's like, You're just locked in. There's a lot of guys priced that you can say, oh, I'll play Caleb Douglas. Okay, you can. Now you're sacrificing half the ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections almost or something close to that.

1:17:05

See, you may have to do that if you're behind. I get it. I'm just saying it's always tricky when you're just sitting on that. You kind of just have to hope everything got there. I liked Title's line. It said, hopefully I'm winning before the afternoon first place because I don't really have a good feeling about any of this stuff and how it's going to work out for us. So it does make it tricky.

1:17:22

The Kenneth Walker stuff, you are – The only thing about the Kevin Walker stuff is whatever you're not getting from the Gibbs, the Bijan stuff that you can say, like, obviously they'd be better in this spot. I get it. It's baked in. Walker, by the way, just took Bijan behind the barn and spanked him a few weeks ago when it was that same setup. It was Bijan super chalk.

1:17:42

Again, Bijan's not chalk this time, but Bijan was the guy that people were on waiting on Walker in the back of the slate, and he ends up just crushing him. So you kind of know that stuff, but you can't pivot to it when it's already happened. So think about that. It is going up against a chalk defense, though, very highly owned defense.

1:17:59

So if you want that, there's going to be a lot of people that need the Broncos D that are cheering against Kenneth Walker. And then when Kenneth Walker stops them, they could lose a bunch of things. It could hurt Coleman as well. There's a bunch of things that could happen there.

1:18:10

So setting up your lineups differently for that are a thing all right last game of the slate hoop I'll start with you it is the Dolphins at home versus the Patriots title read us off the um roth weather earlier and it just talked about downpours in the area pretty good chance of seeing some in-game rain potential for a downpour or lightning delay and then wins ten to fifteen gusts around twenty thoughts here on Dolphins at home versus the Patriots to round out this slate Yeah, no Henderson and no A.J.

1:18:41

Brown. So Stevenson becomes a solid play. Hunter Henry becomes a pretty solid play. But the one that no one's really talking about, DeMario Douglas, I think, is solid as well. If you're playing Drake May, projected to score twenty five, twenty six points. The price on Drake May, $6,500.

1:18:58

It's kind of in a range where, you know, people don't feel super comfortable with it I like I like this patriot stuff and it's like they're going to be the most popular most Likely most popular part of the afternoon slate I mean remandre Stevenson uh ownership probably comes down a little bit obviously with the braylon allen news and and bruce hall being up but I like all that. I mean, they're going to score against Miami. So like Stevenson, Henry, both going to get on.

1:19:27

But even guys like DeMario Douglas, I think solid plays. I mean, he's got a lot of touchdown equity, touchdown upside. So in on the Patriots side. Yeah, not going to be playing the Dolphins here. Yeah, one thought I had here, Title, and then I'll let you take it away, was just if you can get a flex with a hundred bucks left over that has, you know, remandre or the idea that you could go to Ollie Gordon as the flip. I don't like him.

1:19:51

I prefer Stevenson as everybody does, obviously. I'm saying, but if you're behind, that is one that you could actually do something with versus the others. There's not as much you can do. And like, there's no way Ollie Gordon can get ownership, even if everybody does.

1:20:03

Late SwapIn NFL contests with late swap, you can change unlocked afternoon or evening players after earlier games begin. Only games included in that contest's player pool are available. Before the first games lock, identify affordable backup combinations for your later players. Check that each combination fits the open positions, then confirm your saved changes in every affected entry.Read the full definition of Late Swap it's just they're not if everyone did obviously it's different but my point is I don't think anybody will so uh if you have a hundred bucks left over I think that's something to think about but what's your thoughts here starting out with the weather drake may stuff stacking anything you want to do here with this one besides remandre the obvious good spot not really I mean individual like chisholm pop Douglas by themselves $3,400 $4,400 in that wandale inamore range kind of Chisholm, especially, $3,400 single digit five percent or something, played almost seventy percent of snaps.

1:20:35

My favorite way, if you are playing Drake May, is probably to play Ali Gordon. And that's just hoping that. All right. Ali Gordon, Dolphins drive down, punch it in. And now Patriots are trailing and having to. To throw it a little more. The problem with Drake May is we talked about with Josh Allen. Who are you playing him with? Chisholm? Sure. Douglas? Sure. What if it's a remandre, though? Hunter Henry, of course. I didn't even say him.

1:20:59

To get it fully right is a little tough, and then you're playing into ownership, mainly because Stevenson and Henry are going to be a lot higher on, so... Kind of a similar spot to Trevor Lawrence, and I prefer Lawrence stuff more than Drake May. But, yeah, Ramondre Chark, I hope he comes back a little bit because I think, like, the one game we saw without Travion Henderson was Week one, and Ramondre played eighty-five percent of snaps.

1:21:21

He's hardly going to leave the field is how I'm seeing it and has so many outs to get there as good-sized favorites but also can catch the ball to the backfield. And without A.J. Brown and stuff, he's the most trusted guy when I don't even know if Drake May trusts his weapons. So yeah, I think good chalk for him, Andre. I'll have a bunch. Yeah. And stacking him in with Drake may, like you just talked about the ability for him to catch those passes and stuff too.

1:21:44

It's like, that makes sense. You could get, you know, get the over stack and then that really crushes into the Henry and Stevenson ownership. It also could be the entire end zone. It could also be the check downs and the things like that and the rain and whatever. The one thing I will say about the weather in this, it looks like a lot of people are moving off of it.

1:21:59

Uh, I think title said it earlier and it was probably, uh, you know more well put than I'll put it but it's like the offense knows what they're doing the defense doesn't and that can work both sides of the field and even if it is oh but then they're not going to be bombing it out in the rain okay well you're allowed to just play Drake May, Ramondre Stevenson, Hunter Henry if you want and just say I'm going to take those guys like you can do a lot of things here I wouldn't be moving off it myself and if it doesn't work out it might not even be because of the weather so it looks like of the three games it's you know Pretty good chance of the rain.

1:22:29

People are saying it's raining there now. I think that always scares people. It's not as much of a factor for the way I'm looking at it. It scares me more, too, when a team like the Lions go and play in that weather versus the Patriots that play in Foxborough that have to deal with weather like this all the time. So I'm not. I look, I look at stuff like that. How much experience does the quarterback kill Williams?

1:22:52

Like never played in the cold, really coming in the NFL and all that. And I was used to it more, but I look at that. I probably a little more than most. Yeah. I was wondering too. We always look hoop at the, the totals and the numbers and all that stuff. Right. But I'm just trying to see if we got anything in this one. Did you see anything earlier title or anything that you saw?

1:23:09

I'm about to look right now to see how much the total has moved from Let's see. Did it come down? Yeah, it did. Yeah, yep. Yes, it did. That's a little more interesting. That's a pretty big move. Four points. I wasn't tracking that yet. It's usually part of the process once inactives come out. But, yeah, it doesn't look like too many. But part of that might have been A.J. Brown and Travion stuff.

1:23:34

It mainly came down to the Team TotalIn NFL DFS, a team total estimates one team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It includes scoring by the whole team, not just offensive touchdowns or fantasy production.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total for the Pats, which we cared more about than the whole game because of the – We don't have as much interest on the other side. Came down two points, and I think probably at least one and a half points is due to A.J. Brown and Travion more than the weather. Yeah, and someone said it too, Florida rain. Oh, it could be in and out.

1:23:52

Like you say, you're not going into a snowstorm in Wisconsin or something like that where you're used to it. Those teams sometimes are used to it, but the teams coming in there are obviously a lot harder, so I like that call out as well. Title, any other thoughts from you just wrapping things up or putting it all together now at the end of this slate? No, I mean, mainly I'm manually bumping Ja'Marr Chase, Puka.

1:24:11

I really like these spin receivers more to hopefully avoid some of the fringe-year value. And then when it does get to the fringe-year value, like Chisholm. Who did I have earlier? I thought Florene was fine. Jacoby Lane. This Titans stuff scares me the more I think about it to play into some Titans chalk. With that being said, though, I love the other side with the Bengals so much. It feels like the Titans will have to do something.

1:24:35

And if you don't think they do, then over stack or play the Bengals and then play Bengals defense, like you said. And then you tell a story that way. So great slate, though. No one's projected over thirty percent or one guy. Twenty five percent on FanDuel. You can do it. Whatever you like, do it. And it's very easy to get overweight.

1:24:52

And a lot of the things you said about like the Titans value and obviously like for Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Read the full definition of Cash Game, people pick their poison, land it there and whatever. And they'll feel good because they probably have at least Chase Brown with some of the, well, I got the Mini-StackIn NFL DFS, a mini-stack usually pairs two players from the same game without either team's quarterback. Often a secondary group beside your main quarterback stack, it can pair a running back with an opposing receiver. Before locking a pair, describe how both players reach big scores together. Then ask whether that outcome would make an omitted quarterback or teammate difficult to beat.Read the full definition of Mini-Stack and it clicks and it makes sense. And they tell themselves that story and it's very possible it still gets there.

1:25:07

But to your point, you can just also play the Bengals D not play those guys or just ignore them altogether and not need the Bengals D, but that's a point. But you also can just use these other ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value plays in their stacks and Like when you measure, like if you're on Drake, man, you get Efton Chisholm in there. That's fine. Like if he actually has a good enough game that it matters, you're playing Lamar and you get your Kobe lane. They're great born with that Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack.

1:25:28

Like there's a floor noise with that game stack. There's lots of ways that you can go to still make your lineups, make sense, tell a story and not require certain options in other games. That's kind of been the takeaway for me today with like the Baltimore Buffalo stuff. Someone said earlier, it's going to fail.

1:25:43

It's almost impossible it fails as a real life game, but for DFS, because it could be three, three and exciting down to the last play of Allen and him go, but for DFS is all we care about. And if it spreads out too much or is a bad outcome as far as the totals and the fantasy point scoring and all that, if you're not on it, great. So if you're on it, I kind of want to be in or out in that situation.

1:26:01

I don't always want to account for it just because you have to. So that's my thoughts there. Hoop, final thoughts from you, man, before we get out of here. Yeah, I mean, very well-rounded slate. I mean, there's a lot. I mean, there's so many different games to go to, so many different spots. There's value. There's Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up. There's overlooked spend-ups. You know, the Gibbs and Bijan stuff is something I really want to analyze a little bit more.

1:26:23

I mean, just the two studs, the number one and basically number one and two season-long picks, like coming in at low ownership today, that definitely is something that's sticking in my mind. If you're hand-building, like there's just no way you go to Gibbs Gibbs or B John with all the value. So something I'm going to look at for sure, overweight stance on those stud running backs. But it's, it's a great slate.

1:26:46

And you know, one of the key points title pointed out early, like nothing really over twenty five percent, like it's getting spread out quite a bit. So you can build what you like and kind of kind of move on. So it's a fun one. Good luck to everyone. Let's get those Ship It Nation logos to the top of the leaderboard today. Let's have a big day. Yeah, let's do it again. Let's make Week eight. Great.

1:27:07

The last point you said that I liked about the pay up running backs is that even if you only go one of them, most people aren't going with any, but even if you only go with one, it's been a thing forever in DFS. It almost puts you on the mid range at wide receiver. Most people are going multiple cheap running backs and then being able to get lamb or whatever else they want. Higgins chase, et cetera, et cetera.

1:27:29

If you go to at least one pay up running back, you can get to the more mid range wide receivers, which look pretty good on this slate. So that's, If you want to check out what we're doing, you guys can go over to shipitnation.com. There's a ton of free stuff within the shows, the articles.
