The Short Version

Mike Petta, Tyler Tamboline, and Zach Trivett expect a potentially slow, defensive opener with soft salaries making the highest scorer the likely optimal captain. Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($10,600) remains a priority despite ownership, while Drake Maye ($10,000) offers rushing upside and flexible pairings. Rhamondre Stevenson is underpriced without TreVeyon Henderson, but captain ownership raises concerns. Jadarian Price provides leverage through Seattle rushing touchdowns and a game script that hurts popular alternatives.

Hunter Henry and AJ Barner are preferred cheap captain alternatives, with Elijah Arroyo offering flex savings. George Holani’s receiving role supports his value despite ownership. DeMario Douglas, Kyle Williams and Mack Hollins differentiate otherwise popular builds. Seattle’s defense and Jason Myers draw support, while lower-owned Patriots options offer pivots. Build around a coherent game script, consider five-one constructions and leave salary when warranted; one useful pivot can be enough to avoid excessive duplication.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
CAPTAIN A favorite at ownership because rushing touchdowns and numerous receiving options allow many constructions, including teams without a paired pass catcher. 23:05
CAPTAIN Low-owned captain with a substantial expected role, security-blanket targets and multiple-touchdown upside. 25:13
CAPTAIN Low-owned captain who should play extensively in two-tight-end formations and could become Seattle's second receiving option. 25:13
CAPTAIN A leading captain despite substantial ownership, with soft salaries allowing strong flex combinations and enough receiving upside to lead without scoring a touchdown. 29:17
CAPTAIN Among the preferred captains when factoring ownership, with greater interest in New England's passing game than its rushing matchup. 32:54
CAPTAIN A preferred contrarian captain whose rushing touchdowns could simultaneously beat Smith-Njigba captain builds and popular Stevenson game scripts. 33:40
CORE An elite $9,400 flex option with multiple receiving partners; captain interest was split, with support for pairing him with two pass catchers. 36:43
Monitor his questionable status before building; an absence improves confidence in Seattle's other receivers and tight ends, while an active Horton was still expected to have limited snaps. 37:29
CORE Underpriced at $8,400 for his expected workload and receiving role; flex exposure is favored, with more caution about captain ownership. 38:44
VALUE At $4,200, third-down and two-minute receiving work could produce the necessary score in a single drive despite his popularity. 40:12
LEVERAGE The preferred running back when factoring ownership, with strong flex appeal as attention concentrates on Stevenson. 41:54
Mentioned as a possible short-yardage substitute behind Price and Holani without a firm recommendation. 43:14
Opinions differed on whether Patriots backups would contribute, with one view allowing capped exposure and another expecting essentially no Haskins role. 44:19
The backup workload drew disagreement; limited $2,400 exposure was supported in large portfolios, while builds of ten teams or fewer favored Stevenson alone. 45:02
A viable Patriots receiving option and Maye pairing, although his relative price and the difficult matchup limit enthusiasm. 50:46
LEVERAGE Overweight at roughly nine percent ownership because one explosive play could make the $3,000 receiver decisive. 51:36
LEVERAGE A low-owned way to differentiate chalk-heavy builds and a useful Maye captain partner, with mixed preferences between him and Williams. 52:37
LEVERAGE Two opinions favored overweight exposure for an expanded role and explosive plays, including captain consideration, while another remained below the field. 54:05
LEVERAGE A very low-owned differentiator singled out as the potential unexpected receiver needed to win a six-figure prize. 56:02
VALUE Supported at $1,600 on DraftKings for expected two-tight-end usage, with additional appeal if Horton is inactive. 1:01:20
VALUE Strong support based on Seattle's willingness to kick and his scoring upside, although ownership prompted a preference for alternatives in one approach. 1:04:38
LEVERAGE A cheaper, lower-owned pivot from Myers, specifically preferred when using chalk elsewhere despite the broader preference for Seattle's kicker. 1:06:24
Patriots DST LEVERAGE Include some exposure because the ownership gap is substantial and an ugly, low-scoring game could bring either defense into play. 1:08:48
Seahawks DST LEVERAGE Preferred over kickers at ownership in a potentially low-scoring game, with support for using it alongside Maye and his catch-up production. 1:11:40
VALUE More appealing in Patriots-leading scripts that force Seattle to throw; his $5,400 FanDuel salary stands out despite concerns about two-tight-end sets limiting snaps. 1:13:36
VALUE A speculative cheap Maye pairing supported for hand builds, with his $1,600 FanDuel salary providing an alternative to minimum-priced punts. 1:17:50
Preferred narrowly over Doubs in a separate season-long flex question, rather than as a play on this showdown slate. 1:22:00

Systems go. Clear for lift off. What's up, everyone? Tyler Timberline here, a.k.a. ToeTagginTambo, and we are back for another NFL season, kicking it off this year on a Wednesday night. We got the Patriots at the Seahawks. It's a rematch of the Super Bowl. We're back in the booth. We got Hoopster, Title, myself, ready to break it all down as usual. We're going to talk all things at the captain.

0:54

We're going to talk about roster construction, playing for that million dollars over on DraftKings tonight. We'll talk about the flex, how you can build it out, different styles, and then we'll get to a little bit of FanDuel at the end as well. We got a little bit of housekeeping to go through for you guys, but make sure to smash that thumbs up. If you're with us live, just push the chat button down, hit the thumbs up quickly.

1:12

Make sure you're subscribed to the channel. We got a ton of content this season. We're adding shows as well.

1:17

Hoop and I recently did a show on the NFL launch you guys can find it down below on our YouTube channel it's easy watch a couple thousand people have already checked it out so all the promos all the different advertisements and then of course we've got the new shows we've added even more to that since so Hoopster bring you in here first man we're back in the booth it's the starting of a beautiful thing the new season christmas eve was last night christmas day is today we're back in action baby Excited to be back, and I'm sure you like this comment.

1:43

One thing about Tambo, always on time, two p.m. Eastern. That's one thing we always said from the beginning. The crew you expect, the time you expect. That's the worst thing. You show up to a show and you got like a random crew in there and a random time starting ten minutes late. You don't got to worry about that here. And for the majority of this NFL season, it's going to be this trio here. And we're excited, man. We're back.

2:03

You know, joking before we went on the show, it's like, man, NFL season ends and Everyone's a little bit sad and say, oh, we got six months before football. And man, that six months breeze by super quick. And, you know, once the season starts going on, we always talk about it, like enjoy every week because the season goes by fast. But I guess it's the overarching point that time just goes by very fast. So you got to enjoy, enjoy everything.

2:28

And we're going to enjoy this football season, going to enjoy this game. I love that we got the Wednesday start. We got the Thursday game tomorrow. Like the NFL branching out to different days, I think makes a ton of sense. We'll have shows for all the big slates, the two game slates, the three game slate throughout the season, Thanksgiving, all that. I got the Super Bowl rematch, big money up top, a lot of preseason stuff in terms of best ball. You got the survivor stuff.

2:53

So much to talk about. It's going to be a fun season. Excited to be back with you guys. Excited to dive into this game. The energy, the hoop-timism. It's like optimism, but it's hoop. That's why I went to him first because now I'll bring my man Title in. He's going to tell us how the season's about to end sooner than we know it. And it's true. It is, but... We got to enjoy it now.

3:10

And, Title, I'm excited to be back here with you, man, talking some football. I know you've been grinding in the MMA streets, grinding in the best ball streets, grinding on pretty much everything. I was in Vegas with you, grinding the blackjack tables on arrival, grinding the craps tables, the pass line, teaching me and my wife some stuff. It was a great time in Vegas with you, man. But what's going on, my friend? Happy to be back in the booth here with you.

3:28

Yeah, I'm happy to be back. I mean, MLB as fun as it is. And I will say, I mean, we still have, I mean, early slate locks in an hour. I'm in the streets. You can check out our content. College football is here, which comes right around this time. MMA in my backyard this week. So a lot of sports. But as we all know, NFL takes reign with all.

3:44

I mean, a hundred or $200,000 up top on FanDuel, which no one's even talking about because of Milly on DraftKings. But so much money to be made. Then we get to run it back tomorrow. Which will be here for Saturday, college football, MMA, Sunday, of course, NFL, Monday, NFL. Yeah, this time of year, it just never stops. But that's what we love. We love talking football. So much money to be made.

4:05

And yeah, a lot of cool improvements over here at Ship It Nation. Just the Stone 2.0. We have in a lot of different sports, but I was checking that out. I know you'll hit plenty of marketing. But yeah, I'm excited for some football. Hopefully some money to be made or money is to be made. Hopefully it's us making the money and some Ship It Nation logos at the top. Yeah, if it's not us, hopefully it's you guys.

4:24

But like you said, a couple of things, the chat, just on the shows and stuff, I want to make sure people know it's what you're here. It's a free YouTube show. We're going to be here every Monday and Thursday at two p.m. Eastern, this same crew that you know and love for the Showdown Shippers. And there's going to be the Wednesday one this week that you're on right now with us. Thursday, coming up again tomorrow, two p.m. Eastern on Fridays.

4:41

Title's going to be breaking down the Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Full explanation ↗ countdown. It's just a very fast, like nowadays, a lot of people know what's going on, but knowing from someone like Title that plays in these streets heavily and just those little moves that you can make and just sort of a countdown of, who are the top three in each position, that type of thing that he wants to break it down from. That's going to be out on Fridays.

4:58

Saturday, it's not up here yet, but we'll be Leverage Lane with Blickle and myself. Then on Sunday, both aren't up here. The Sunday Shipper Show with the same trio, nine a.m. Eastern, is going to be every Sunday. And then after that, actually, starting at eleven a.m., Or no, what is it? It's eleven thirty was when inactives come out. So eleven thirty a.m. Eastern on Sundays, we will have a new show called ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Full explanation ↗ Constructions. And I'm excited for this one.

5:22

It's Belman and Ham, two of the most contrarian people I know, but very good at taking down GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Full explanation ↗. If you want to figure out how to win a million dollars on Sunday, that's going to be the best way to go about it for some of these different constructions that you can do. So. Take down breakdowns on Monday. Won't go away. You won't see them all up here yet, but make sure you're subscribed to this channel. It's free to do so.

5:42

Very easy. Fast tracking everything for you guys so we can get right into the content. The early bird special is almost over. Three forty nine. It includes SaberSim. It includes Ship It Games. If you saw today on X, just go to X at Ship It Nation real quick. Said it very simply. Most sites aren't even giving away a thousand dollar reward of any kind. We're giving away $45,000 cash and prizes to our community. Nobody else does that.

6:08

Why? Because it costs them money and they want to keep all that money for the company and for themselves.

6:12

Costs us money we want to give it all back we want the community to be able to enjoy this thing and it is going to be awesome we did give away a bunch of money last year it can only grow but if you want to check it out go to at Ship It Nation on x the details are there or Ship It Games.com and you can see the entire breakdown hoop and I talked about it last week as well uh as title said real quick just so you guys see for NFL focusing on tonight we've simplified everything else across the site but for tonight we've got your projections So you'll be able to see those as we go.

6:42

You can download the Excel, the CSV, the copy. You can sort them by Captain, Flex, DraftKings, Bandool. We cover both sites here. So that's important to note. If you go back here, you go to the stone, you've got the normal stone, it's on there, or you can download the PDF or even the XLSX file to be able to download and work from your own stone. You can go to the Stone 2.0 point.

7:02

Oh, we will be using this today to show you. We now have a lineup hand builder. You can save your lineup inside saving it. You can then download it, upload it, whatever you want to do. It's all there for you guys to be able to go through it. So we'll spend some more time on that throughout. And then we have the Slate Station.

7:17

I'm not going to load this one yet just because we're still working on some stuff in the back end, but that will feature all the cores from everybody at the site. And then our man BG Little Neck, who was dialed in last year in the NFL, NBA, soccer, e-sports, et cetera, you name them all. He's there. Tennis, I think too, like just everything. And he's got the NFL showdown tower that's going to be up for you guys. And it's all going to be interactive.

7:38

It's almost like the tower two point oh, where you're going to be able to sort through that and see it there. Whoop, anything else I missed or anything else you want to add before we hop into this? No, sir. Excited to see the names back in the chat. Our guy, Derek, I mean, he was with us all last season, new school year, different teaching location. So I guess congratulations.

7:55

I'm assuming it's a good move for you, but same game plan, independent work for the students during the two PM Eastern hour. So love seeing, love seeing our guys show back up for NFL season. Yeah, me too. It's definitely fun. Nate's mentioned the pass line winners. That was insane. I love Nate's word title. He kept saying we rinsed them.

8:12

By the way, Ham, speaking of ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Full explanation ↗ constructions on Sunday, I never seen someone at a table game in my life feeling it as much as our guy Ham was on the craps table. This guy's like Chevy Chase at the one with rock, paper, scissors, except he's playing the real game for real money. He rinsed them too though. So, so congrats to him and excited to see him and Belman on Sundays, breaking it all down. There's also another show.

8:33

Speaking of our man Nades, by the way, the Sunday sweat down, I'm excited for this one too. The Sunday night football show this year, free again, like all of our shows are you guys make sure you're subscribed. The Sunday sweat down will be a Sunday night football show at six PM Eastern. So much closer to lock now. So you're going to get all the up-to-date news, the latest and greatest when it comes to that.

8:53

But they'll also be able to sweat the slate at hand. So that's going to be fun as people are coming down the stretch, tournaments that they're in, other stuff that they can find. It's going to be a good sweat for you guys. I think you're going to enjoy it. And the last thing I wanted to showcase, I'm going to use this throughout the show. I think it's actually pretty cool. But if you guys haven't checked it out yet, our partnership with DFSOS.com.

9:14

It's just very simple. DFSOS.com. You go there. It's the operating system for Daily Fantasy. This is pretty cool, though. And anybody who uses code SHIPIT gets fifty percent off for the entire NFL season. So it's like a ninety nine dollar plan marked down to fifty nine. You guys can get it for twenty nine dollars a month. It's a dollar a day. But I'll give you an example. It's got all kinds of stuff on here.

9:34

But a slate review I was doing before the show. And I was, I remembered by the way, cause we're about to get to AJ Brown here in a minute. I was like, didn't AJ Brown let us down before on a showdown slate? And wasn't it the very first slate to start the season? And so I went back and I said, okay, let me look. All the data's in here from five plus years, but I went to September of last year.

9:55

And I scroll back to the very first slate of the season. And I said, ah, yes, it was Dallas at Philadelphia to start the year last year where Jahan Dotson outdid A.J. Brown at like $6,000 less. And last year, for people wondering, with one hundred and $71,000 entries, it was a fifteen dollar buy in was a million dollars to first. This lineup chopped it up, I think, fourteen or maybe ten, ten ways.

10:19

Anyway, it was Javonte Williams that the captain had Barkley, Hurts, C.D. Lamb, Aubrey, Jahan Dotson. So A.J. Brown failed everybody last year. I remember that. And we'll see if he does that this week. But if you guys show me the salary on that on that team, the total spend.

10:36

Um I'm not the best at it yet to be able to find that yeah well I'm just curious because I'm assuming like it was probably way way under the the salary cap number if I recall correctly

10:45

Yeah I'm actually wondering just quickly because we're live but anyway like this is what's cool about I'm gonna use it for the news like I know we're waiting on say Horton news or something like that it has the ability to update all that but I'm gonna try and see what day was it it was Thursday the fourth well someone in chat will find it yeah I'd have to find it and go back through but just noting it but yeah the other thing is like this I like the news section because if we're looking stuff up on the fly especially us doing this it's like this is the latest from hours ago but it it talks about Horton as questionable for Wednesday so I'll be

11:12

Able to find this throughout all the night all the sports if you want perfect lineups you can go look them up as the slates update there's a Bankroll ManagementBankroll management is how you size your DFS spending relative to the money you have set aside to play, called your bankroll, so normal losing streaks do not wipe you out.Write down your per-slate limit before the season starts. Spending rules are much easier to keep when you set them before a losing streak, not during one.Full explanation ↗ tracker all of that but if you guys want to check it out go to dfsos.com use code ship it you get fifty percent off we're going to use it a bunch but I got the stone title I'll kick it to you first just um you know a little bit of a you know back in action situation here with with getting showdown to start things off as we usually do but it's a Wednesday night um a lot of talk around

11:39

These two teams obviously it wasn't the the best uh super bowl if you will I mean I don't know how much you like the bad bunny performance or whatever else might have been but at the end of the day the game itself was obviously very one-sided what's your thoughts coming into a new season whether bringing that across you know showdown strategies different factors what's your thoughts coming into this first game of the season Yeah, well, first, when you brought up that game, it just clicked.

12:01

That's what Jalen Carter spit on Dak and got ejected right away. So that was quite the way to start off the year. And like the whole line, the live line switched like a point. So that was kind of crazy. But yeah, I mean, I was surprised to see that as only three point favorites were the Seahawks. When you are looking at Patriots coming into Seattle, what happened the last time we saw these two teams play? With that being said, obviously the Patriots, they got A.J.

12:25

Brown out. That's the biggest one on both teams for sure. For Seattle, though, no Kenneth Walker, so he leaves. Charbonnet is obviously starting on the pup. He's hurt for a while, so they're going to be rocking with the rookie in Price to start it off. So some more unknowns on the Seattle side right now, whereas the Patriots only got better, at least on the offensive side of the ball.

12:46

Two good teams, two good defenses, two teams that we expect to be in the running toward the end of the year. Going to the twelfth man in Seattle is not an easy place to play. So you can see a low total at forty four and a half, a little juice on the under there. Anytime you see that.

13:01

And also, I always think like especially earlier in the year with teams not playing as much as they have in the past in the preseason. I do expect offenses to lag a little bit outside of the premier offenses. So that's something to note as well with the low total we have. When I see low totals, I think that is easier to leave money on the table to get more crazy like we saw with the Dotson.

13:22

I mean, one one throw, I think it was like a sixty yard playoff.

13:25

Catch Dotson had and right there he surpassed so many other guys there's just more variance when there is more three and now it's when the offenses don't get going as much and there's more wiggle room to go down from like a Shahid to a Cooper Cup a one v one or stuff like that it's also just tying it all to the game we play daily fantasy salary OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ game huge prizes it's the first game of the slate so you're looking at over a hundred thousand like a hundred $32,000 entrants on DraftKings about $80,000 on FanDuel What is your goal today?

13:56

Are you playing three lineups in that thing and you're fine chopping it three hundred ways? You'll get thousands of thousands of dollars. If that's your strategy, know that. Me personally, I'm not going to go so crazy where I'm like going to go for under ten dupes. That's going to be pretty tough with this big of a field. It is possible. But I also personally, I'm going to max it out. I'm not trying to look for a hundred plus dupes.

14:18

So I'm going to play a little more aggressive, but I'm still going to play the best plays. The JSNs that capped in A.J. Brown's a captain, whatever it may be. So I think you should have a game plan coming into the slate. What's your risk tolerance? What are you looking to get out of this slate?

14:31

If you're building for the twenty dollar hundred $32,000 people, you should build that a lot different than that hundred dollar Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Full explanation ↗ with eleven hundred people. So that's just the broad slate for me. Think about the contest you're in. It's more than just all right. A.J. Brown's going to go off today. So we're playing him a captain. You still got to get other stuff right.

14:50

Agreed yeah who what do you have to add there man your grand scheme overview for this game here we got Patriots at the Seahawks Seahawks favored at home a little bit smaller looks like Jordan found it I was looking it up as well as we go here but yeah forty nine one hundred which is interesting right nine hundred bucks it wasn't like I left a bunch on that's a ten-way chop for you know all top ten prizes including the million so I know a lot of people would be very happy with a hundred and $24,000 whatever it is on night one just to kick your season off early but go ahead hoop I'll let you jump I mean, just going back to that point,

15:17

It's a perfect example where it's just like one play can just make the difference in showdown, just like in one little pivot. I'm sure there's a lot of wide receivers or receivers, a lot of guys on the slate price right around Dotson. He was.

15:31

LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ and that's that was the key to the slate so like I think a lot of people when they think showdown they think they got to do something wild and crazy and sometimes you do don't get me wrong like sometimes you do need the wild and crazy stuff the defense and the captain's going to hit from time to time like sometimes you need that but a lot of times is you just need like one sort of pivot on a lineup that that makes sense so that's one thing to think about when building teams tonight.

15:56

In terms of the overview, I agree with mostly what Title was saying. This is a game that screams to me slow offensive start to the season. Seattle, it's always a tough place to go play at. It's super loud. These offenses are obviously going to be Little lacking compared to where they'll be in three or four weeks down the road. So I kind of wouldn't be surprised if this was an uglier, grinded out game. And, you know, that's not saying it's a guarantee.

16:27

I mean, could it be thirty five, thirty two? Yeah, sure. Absolutely. But I am going to kind of lean towards. An uglier sort of game, which to me in terms of roster construction means leaving a lot of salary on the table, like big, big chunks where, you know, you see maybe, you know, what's, you know, certain pivots that could pay off. Like just one example would be, I don't know, like AJ Brown down to AJ Barner or something, leaving $5,000 on the table.

16:58

There's a lot of those situations that we'll talk about as we go through the show. You know, I am typically someone that shies away from playing defenses. I think on tonight's slate, I want to be on the defenses a little bit more than normal, which if you guys have been watching these shows, it's typically not the case for me. So I'm going to be open to a lot of different sort of roster constructions tonight because of how I think this game could go.

17:25

And I wouldn't be surprised if it's like, I don't know, seventeen to fourteen or something like that. So it's kind of my thoughts. But again, we'll go through the positions. We'll go through the captains, start looking at ownership and and what some common builds are going to be and see what we can end up with here at the end of the show.

17:42

Yeah, tying both of those together, one thing I want to throw in quick is just that if you talk about everything Hoopa just said with how the game could play out, and if you see it that way, and you talk about what Title said, I think you put both together and say that you could see a really ridiculous captain or a bunch of money left on the table.

17:59

Because if you have a lower scoring game, everyone just assumes, well, then I better just put Romandre in the captain, or I better just put JSN in the captain. But if they... You know, if it's seventeen fourteen and they're not really part of the plan, it's five for fifty or five or forty.

18:10

Yes, they could still show up in the flex, but I'm just saying or if it's eighteen rushes for sixty yards and then doesn't get a TD or something like that for Ramada, it's like your captain could be anybody who's part of those seventeen points or part of those fourteen points. So when you look at it from that perspective, it's not only could it be a unique captain, but it could leave money on the table. Somebody asked earlier, I've only got my first run.

18:30

This is definitely not final. But the lowest I see right now, and this I'll add to this in a second, but I see like forty three eight. I see forty three five, forty four seven. Like I see a lot of these. I'm playing for lower dupes, as most people know in these tournaments, but they're not crazy lineups. It's typically involving things like if you have defense instead of an A.J. Brown or a quarter Myers instead of. Of, um, JSN or something like that.

18:54

And it's like, it's just, it could be that type of situation. And another thing people always think like a low scoring game means, well, that must mean the JSN is even better than it could be because he wasn't involved. They didn't get to the points and they don't get anything there. Now, when you're playing a higher dollar or smaller field or both, you got to remember what you're playing up against, right? You're less teams.

19:13

People are maxing, like they're spending forty nine, five and above.

19:16

So you don't have to be trying to figure out what is the correct $46,000 two hundred dollar team just to leave money but in the GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Full explanation ↗ with a million bucks up top and you wanting to get it like title always talks with us you know same in line with like ten dupes or less hard to always get that but if you're kind of playing for that angle yes then it's no I'm not really looking at the portfolio beyond looking at it if it says this lineup's you know solid and it's $45,000 six hundred probably just leaving it and I've got lineups and other places that can maneuver around that so Um, you could definitely do this.

19:48

It just, remember if you're probably, if you're thinking about this, someone else probably is too. And so you're probably getting to that lineup with Ramondre and JSN. Well now flip the captain, do whatever you want. It's probably not going to be that different. Um, as it, as it stands out there, there is like, you know, shout out to our guy here. Tyler says Doubs could go overlooked with everyone focused.

20:06

Like I think Doubs we'll get to all this later, but Doubs, um, Tyler Williams, um, Who else is there? Matt Collins. The other side, you flip it. Some of the names are going to get talked about, but not all of them are going to be able to get clicked enough. That's oftentimes a better place to look. I know a lot of people look for this diamond in the rough of if, I don't know who's up there.

20:27

What if so-and-so gets injured and so-and-so comes in and you get these points from them? It's like, that would mean I'd get the whole million bucks. Like, yeah, you would need all that shit to happen. And then you would need the rest of your lineup to go correct, including the correct captain, including everything else to fall your way. So does it take some luck?

20:42

Yeah, but you can play sharper or smarter and still build the lineups in a way where you're not needing that to necessarily happen. There's lots of overlooked plays. Title, I'll go back to you. Let's start with the captain conversation. I mean, we're looking at Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Full explanation ↗ from your perspective. I think we're probably looking at JSN up top.

20:59

But one thing I will say is that the chat's already talking about is like, you know, how he got shut down in the Super Bowl. And, you know, I'm going to be underweight on him tonight. I like these other guys. What do you sort of see the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ shaking out like a captain from a top three perspective? And then what are you doing up at the captain yourself or how are you thinking about it?

21:18

Yeah, I do think JSN will come in number one at captain. Now, is it going to be twenty percent? Is it going to be seventeen percent? I think it's somewhere around there. But he is the highest projected player on the slate pretty much everywhere you go. And I mean, that's relatively rare for a receiver. And then we talked about salary being soft. So because salary is soft, it's easy to fit him up top.

21:39

And then I think the next two highest will probably be Ramondre and Drake May. Talk with Ramondre. I can see him getting steam in the flex and captain. I would not be surprised if he doesn't come off the field today. It's obviously a very important game. No Travion Henderson week one. He should be back, I assume, probably next week, if not the week after. So they can run him out there as much as they want. Good pass blocker. Can catch the ball out of the backfield.

22:04

And it's also the price tag when you're looking at JSN at $10,600 from Andrews eight for Drake Mays $10,000. So it feels like A.J. Brown nine six. So you do get a decent amount of savings for someone that's not going to leave the field that can do everything. I think he's the one that does get or I am worried that gets the most steam. And I think we have it pretty good.

22:24

Again, JSN, everyone keeps talking about it like he did nothing in the Super Bowl. Christian Gonzalez, all this stuff. I hope people are worried. I mean, I know I'm going to play JSN again. It's easy to play him. Just look what he did last year. Very, very few games that he absolutely done it. And that was one of them. I hope the recency bias does carry over.

22:42

Cause they're going to find ways to get JS in the ball, whether it's a quick wide receiver screen or whatever it may be, he is going to touch it. I think early and often, um, So, yeah, JSN, Stevenson, Drake May, I think, are the highest. And then I would go A.J. Brown. Again, salaries loose on this slate. There are some value that we can get to. It's easy to play all of them. You want my captain thoughts? Yeah, yeah, go ahead.

23:05

You can keep rolling. You're good. Yeah, I'm going JSN for sure. Drake May would be my second favorite. I can maybe argue that he'd be my favorite at ownership. And the reason I love Drake May a lot, we talk about it with Josh Allen. I'll call him a Dollar Tree version, but he can run. You don't need to pair him with anybody. And he also has so many pairings that you can go to. Is it Matt Collins? Is it Tyler Williams?

23:26

Is it Pop Douglas? Romeo Doubs? Like, There's so many, and then you can just, all right, maybe he runs in a touchdown or two touchdowns. So I love the ability to play, even though he is getting ownership, playing Drake May in so many different ways. And I'm definitely fine playing Seahawks defense against Drake May. We saw how they pinned their ears back and what they did to him in the Super Bowl. What if they do get out, you know, seven or whatever it may be.

23:49

And he has to play catch up and drop back a million times. That's good for the defense and Drake may. So I love how many different ways I can play them. Whereas when you play JSN, then usually you're going Darnold in the flex and it gets a little more concentrated. Stevenson's the one, because I do think he gets the steam. That I plan on being lighter at the captain spot. We'll definitely play him in the flex.

24:08

Again, the usage he will have is great, but I think he gets keyed in on a lot. And with the steam, we play an ownership game. I'd rather get to other people to get different. Two of my favorites, I think, to get different are the tight ends. I'm definitely team tight ends today. Hunter Henry feels underpriced to me, hardly going to leave the field, especially if there is pressure in Drake May's face, a good security blanket. So I'm in on him.

24:31

Then go to the other side, A.J. Barner. We'll talk about Arroyo stuff in the flex, but I do think Seattle's going to probably play a good amount of two tight ends this year, try and run the football, set up play action. Barnard's props are okay. I mean, twenty five and a half. Is that great? No, but Cooper Cup twenty nine and a half. He thirty one and a half. Doubs thirty five and a half. Like outside of A.J. Brown and J.S.

24:54

And it's all a jumbled mess. I think he's going to be on the field a ton. He's a good red zone threat. We always talk about how inflated these touchdown props are on DraftKings, but He's plus two fifty. That's more Likely to score than Doubs, than Shahid, than Henry, than Cooper Cup. If it's a low scoring game and you get in the box, there we go. The first of many for the year.

25:13

If you get in the box with one touchdown, you'll be you'll be sitting pretty good. So we're showing very low ownership at captain, which I expect. Henry and Barner are two guys that are the LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ options that I'll be getting overweight with. And then you have a lot more salary to work with as well.

25:28

A barn burner man but uh you know you get these I forgot about the YouTube chat coming up with the hot takes man eli raradon three catches three yards three tds I was gonna say royal you guys know I love remember there was a game last year where Darnold hit Horton Arroyo and somebody and then I think Horton got injured right after that but it was like that thing was lining up nice and that's back to using these quarterbacks at captain I talked a ton about last year and you just mentioned drake may being in that position I mean you could do drake may and spread them out with guys You could do Drake May in a lower scoring game, a little bit of, you know, revenge that they get back to.

26:00

Maybe they find the dub here and he's got two rushing touchdowns and it's could be seventeen, fourteen for them. And that's the case. So he's back. I was just about to say, where's Joe Mama? And he comes back. Man, that's the port right there. Joe mama, six, nine V Joe mama. You never hit me up yet. Free month. Ship It Nation, buddy. That is you waited for it. Didn't say anything and hopped in at the exact moment.

You got to get in the Discord, bro. We got to get you in there. So. All right. Lots of good thoughts here. I mean, missing our guy. Yo, shout out to Lay the House. Rob, he says, Roe and Pat's D for all the money.

26:44

Darn, I'm going to see Ghosts again. Could be that. AFC. So one thing this tells me, and these are great supporters. We appreciate you guys as always back with us here again for another season. Says a lot of interest in Ram Captain. I think, Title, you called it. The community... Of sites and stuff that we keep our eye and our eye on the ball around here.

27:02

They're much higher on JSN and the captain than we are in like, and we're talking much higher in these like small edges. It's like three to five percent, but it's about the steam and the moonwalk. Rest in peace to our big guy in the sky, DJ in seventy five. We celebrated him in Vegas just shortly ago, but he would talk about the moon and the steamwalk. I think what's happening here is as the steamwalking or the steamwalking, we're mixing together now.

27:24

But as the moonwalking happens on JSN and some of the conversation, And by the way, the Sims love Ramondre. Why? Because he's coming in too low. So that's steaming up to simming up, if you will. And so once that's happening, then people are like, well, I better get thirty percent of them. And now if a lot more people are getting that percentage of him, now his fourteen percent. He comes sixteen to eighteen to like whatever it ends up at.

27:47

So I'd be very interested to see where that one finishes up today. But I thought you did a good job breaking down everything there. I want to get Hoop's thoughts. Hoop, we got you talking about defenses in week one, game one as well. That's why everyone's talking about, you know, we know you love the double kicker, but defenses. Are there any defenses in the captain? And then give us the rest of your thoughts and add on to what title just said.

28:07

I'm not going that route. I mean, I'm sure people will because a lot of people are going to look at this game and see that it could be low scoring. They saw, you know, it kind of was slugging out in the Super Bowl. So, yeah, I think people will play it. I'm not playing it. I'm talking strictly flex. I'm usually not even on defenses in the flex. So that's baby steps in that direction for me.

28:26

In terms of captain, I think – The JSN stuff, I think it is going to get steamed up just because salary is just so, so, I mean, salary is just not a factor today. If you just go in there and build teams based on projections, you're just going to get a ton of JSN because you can play him in the captain and really not sacrifice all that much. I mean, he's already pretty cheap.

28:50

You put him in the captain, you still have almost $7,000 per spot. So like you can still build teams. Um whatever you really whatever you want you put in one cheap play with that then you're back up to $8,000 per spot so jsn and the captain is gonna probably get steamed up if we want to use that term I wouldn't be surprised we're showing right now, I wouldn't be surprised if it's closer to like mid-twenties.

29:17

And, you know, depending on what you think of JSN, I mean, it's not a guy that I'm going to unclick because the ownership might get up there. I mean, he could absolutely, you know, nuke the slate. I mean, he has, he's one of those players that doesn't even need to really find the end zone to be the guy you need. He could rack up eight catches for one forty or something like that, nine for one fifty.

29:39

So, definitely in play but I do think the ownership comes up the other guy where I think the ownership definitely comes up on is uh remandre Stevenson and I'm a little more worried about him I'd say than like a lot of other captains on the slate because the price is clearly too cheap he's priced as if Henderson were to be in. I mean, Henderson was a part of this slate. Obviously, Henderson price was $7,600. Remondre is eighty four.

30:04

So now you get Remondre who, you know, title thinks could potentially be on the field the entire game, which I don't. I think I'm a little has we'll talk about some of the backup guys when we get there and talk about flex. But I do think he will come off at least a little bit. But, man, I'm a little worried about the ownership in the captain. I think it will come up.

30:24

I think where we have it at sixteen and maybe it won't come up too much more, maybe, you know, twenty or something. But he's another guy. $8,400. You put him in that captain spot.

30:37

You're at like $7,500 per spot you can do whatever the hell you want with remandre up top and people are gonna see that Henderson's out people are gonna see that uh he does get a lot of action in the passing game so good with those two a little more worried about remandre I think um but like for me drake may I think is a phenomenal play because I think with js in my eyes right this is my opinion with jsn maybe coming up

31:03

A little bit remandre may be coming up a little bit I think it will take away some of these other guys and drake may I think is a really good point that uh title brought up like a mini Josh Allen where he will take off like he'll he'll he can get sixty yards on the ground and if he does happen to to find the end zone on his feet then you're essentially feet free rolling uh the rest of the game with with drake may and like is he the captain that you need so I like him a lot I do really like aj brown I I guess Part of the reason I'm not in love with Ramondre is I think that the Patriots struggled to run here a little bit.

31:37

And, again, Ramondre can get there through the passing game. So I am more interested in the Patriots passing game. Drake May, A.J. Brown, I would include Doubs in there. I definitely like the Hunter Henry call. I like these tight ends up top. I mean, these guys are looking like – Hunter Henry at two, two and a half percent. Like what can Hunter Henry do in this game? I think Hunter Henry could go five for fifty with two touchdowns. Right. And that's boom, boom, ten.

32:07

Quick math with that. Twenty two points. Right. Like, you know, I'll take that for sure. On the other side, definitely Barner. I mean, you look at the receiver room for for Seattle. You got JSN. You got Cooper Cup. You got Shahid. I mean, Cup and Shahid. To me, they're not what they once were. So, like, Barner could be the next guy in line to kind of get targets.

32:33

And I agree also with Title that they're probably going to play a lot of two tight ends. He's going to be on the field. So I think those tight ends are really interesting plays. Price on Seattle, interested in him. Again, with a lot of people, I think, going to Ramondre, I think Price could come down in ownership. We're only showing six and a half percent.

32:54

Like six and a half percent he's the main guy obviously there with Charbonnet out I think he's a really good play so just kind of ranking uh my guys when you factor in ownership It's going to be like A.J. Brown, Drake May are probably my two favorites. And then I would start to look at some of those tight ends because they're going to be unowned. I am going to include JSN, obviously. He's going to be a big part of what I do.

33:19

But, again, when you factor in the ownership, it's going to be a little bit different. Ramondre in play, not as exciting for me just because I think the ownership comes up. But, you know, not much interest in like Shahid or Cooper Cup or the kickers or the defenses. Not a ton in Sam Darnold either. His ownership, we're showing eight. So he will be kind of low on.

33:40

So if you do like him, I mean, if you play fifteen percent of Sam Darnold captain, you're going to be double the field. So those are kind of my thoughts at the captain position. Yeah, took a long time for either of you to mention him, and Hoop just got to him, and I think it was a good call. But Bob Barker tonight, baby, the price is right. I think that's one of the better captain plays as a whole. I think somebody mentioned it earlier.

34:00

If you look at the Super Bowl, it was all Kenneth Walker for Seattle. I don't think he fell in the box, I should say, but it was something like a hundred and thirty-five yards on the ground, a couple of grabs. Six and a half percent. If that number holds, that just has to be a good play when you're factoring in ownership. Yeah, so I think that's important too.

34:18

And people do factor, again, they're not factoring that into your point, but I also think it's factoring in the build. If we're talking about JSN up top, who's leveraged to him? How about the running back jamming it in? Well, that sounds good. If we're talking about, oh, but Ramondre is on the other side. He's the must-have guy. What if the game script changes and it's the other side? So it's like...

34:35

Almost triple leveraging from separation standpoints because you're getting lower captain ownership, an actual game script that could favor him and would flip against two of the guys that are going to be the most popular up top. So I think that's what makes it interesting. Now, if you also think the game could be lower scoring or even if it's higher, it could go that way. Well, then it kind of makes some of my other captain decisions like you guys had already talked about.

34:57

Drake May, interesting, can spread it out. Lots of different options. AJ Brown, Doubs, Henry. If they're behind and got a throw, well, now I can get Price in the flex. Maybe the game plays a little lighter there. So I think there's some situations like that. And then just from a build perspective too, because these guys added a bunch of good comments there. I just want to make sure that was in there. The... Five ones, both sides, don't see a lot.

35:18

Like almost every build we talk about are go build your stuff. Go look at it. If you built ten lineups already, go look how many are five ones. And some of you say, I'll go with some. Sure. I'm just saying overall, it doesn't look like many people are going that route on either side. Almost every build ends up a three-three or a four-two in some way, shape, or form, regardless of how you see the game playing, just the way the pricing sets up.

35:36

So I think that's somewhat interesting. And I also think the two fours are very interesting tonight. I talked about earlier, what if you've got... Um, Raymond Ray and the Patriots D and then four Seahawks in the flex. Cause it's where it's him on the ground and then them having to come back. What if you've got Drake may and one other player and he does most of the work himself and legs on the ground, lower scoring game. And it's the other side coming back.

35:59

You can, you can do it a bunch of different ways, but I think the two, four, um, is interesting I will note somebody in the chat talked about the Stone 2.0 point oh loving it and how easy it is to use and all that just so you guys see like it's it's all fully functional now right you can swap from captain to flex we're going through captains right now the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ changes on the fly it's the simplest tool to use if you got a computer in front of you and be able just to hand build something out and see the total ownership is there the

36:22

Breakdown per Person you can lock a captain see what the optimal that with that captain looks like you can build a bunch of different like you can do whatever you want with this thing Pretty much. It'll tell you all the money you've got left over. It'll tell you anything you want to know as you're building out. And then you can just go through position by position. This is not the final stone. So when it updates, you'll be able to see even more.

36:43

But right now it's just showing you how you can utilize this to your advantage. All right. We talked a little bit about quarterbacks already title, but anything just on the Darnold or Drake May front that you want to add from a flex standpoint or just how you're thinking about using them? Yeah, I didn't talk about Darnold enough, but I think Darnold an elite play in $9,400 because it's not only JSN, of course, like he's the main one.

37:06

But Shahid's going to have a much bigger role this year. We saw what Cooper Cup did in the Super Bowl. There's Barner. There's Arroyo, Price, Holani. We'll get there at running back, but he's going to be more of a pass catcher that you can pair him with. So when you are playing Darnold, I think more than like Darnold, that captain, more than Likely you probably want to pass catchers with them. But Torrey Horton news is actually pretty important as well.

37:29

I mean, everything's important for a one-game slate, but I'm not going to be building before an act is with Torrey Horton stuff. I'm almost kind of hoping he's out because I feel better about Cooper Cup and Shahid and almost Arroyo as well for even more two tight end set. But I talked a lot about Drake May. I didn't with Darnold. I'm definitely in, though, at sub-ten percent Darnold that captain. Anything you want to add with those two hoop?

37:50

Or if not, you can take us into running back from there. But I think, you know, quarterback, you know, people are pairing them up. We talked about that. It's going to matter more, in my opinion, at least when we get there, of like what we're doing with the alternatives. Like if you're not playing those guys or if you are playing them and what you want to put them with, that's going to come up at running back, wide receiver and tight end.

38:05

But anything on the quarterback position as a whole that you want to add or at the flex spot as well. The only thing I was going to add with Drake May, I mean, another reason that I do really like him up top is a lot of different ways to pair him up. You know, you can... Don't even necessarily need to pair him with a pass catcher. He can score one or two touchdowns on the ground.

38:25

You have a tight end to play him with. You have a running back you can play him with. You know, he could definitely throw, you know, Romandre could end up with six or seven receptions. That's in the cards. And you have wide receivers and some cheap wide receivers to pair him with. So definitely, as we're talking through it, like him even more up top. And again, I think.

38:44

He's not going to be low on, but I think he has a chance to come down a little bit because I do see JSN and Ramondre kind of coming up. Just to talk about those running backs a little bit more, you know, in the flocks, Ramondre at eighty four. I mean, very, I'd say high floor play today with the reception upside has a solid projection, has a very fair price. OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ obviously is going to be massive.

39:10

He's underpriced for the role that he will have.

39:13

Um but you know just when I talked about the captain I kind of mentioned it quickly but I do think price is a really really good play today and I know Holani is going to get some work and people are excited to play him I think he's fine in the flex uh as well but man I think price I mean again it's tough to take what people say in the preseason because everybody in the preseason looks phenomenal best shape of their life best camp of their life has looked phenomenal at practice.

39:42

I've seen a couple of comments in the chat. I just let them go. But like, ninety nine percent of players in the NFL are going to have great reviews from training camp. From practice, from practice sessions, from inner team scrimmages, from scrimmages facing other teams. They all look phenomenal. Like it's never a bad report that somebody, there's never a report that says they look bad at training camp. Everyone's in the best shape of their lives, blah, blah, blah. I get all that stuff.

40:12

But Price, a lot of people liked him before the training camp stuff and all that started. So I think he's a really good play in the flex. I like him in the captain as well. Hoani at $4,200. You know, the nice thing about him is. He's one of those guys to me that can has the potential to get it all in one drive, what you need out of him.

40:34

Like if it's the going into the half and he gets that, that last drive in $4,200, he can pick up three to four catches like in one drive. You could get thirty, forty yards and like that's all you might need from him in the flex. He's kind of like a who's a guy like P. Ryan. We always say that about P. Ryan.

40:52

Like if he's in there at the end of a half, like he has the chance to get everything he needs and in that little two-minute drill the same thing with alani so I think he's a great play um the tough part is with these Patriots guys because it's dudes like I I'm not going to pretend like I know a lot about cory kenner or or this Haskins guy but to me like I just can't imagine on game one of the regular season that remandre gets like thirty touches here so I I think somebody's gonna have to get some work um you know the names aren't comfortable but Like, you know, Corey Kiner at $2,400.

41:31

Like, I just need to play some of him. Like Stevenson has had fumble issues in the past. Someone mentioned it in the chat. You know, if he fumbles once, are they going to yank him? Hell no. Like, they're still going to roll with them. They don't have an option. But what if he fumbles twice? And they have to give somebody else an opportunity. So, you know, I do want to include these guys in my player pool. Definitely want to cap it a little bit.

41:54

You don't want like twenty percent of these Patriots backups. But I do think there's a chance for one of them to get some work here. So, yeah, I mean, you got options here. You got Stevenson, you got Price, you got Holani and then the Patriots backups. But I'm definitely when you factor in everything again, Price would be my favorite running back tonight. Yeah, I really like him.

42:17

Like I said, even up in the captain, there's just a ton of different LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ points that you're going to get with him and in a game script that could end up making sense in that favor as well. Tyler, I want to go to you. The big thing here is with Holani. You talked about him earlier. The chat was talking about him being a pass catcher. Maybe it's price at the goal line. Which one wins out? How does that end up working out?

42:33

But one thing we can definitely tell is that Holani is getting OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗. So it's not going to be kinder as much as you'll see as Haskins. They're going to maybe... Show up in, even when people get a whole portfolio of lineups, they might get, you know, one to three percent of those guys typically, unless they want to boost something. What is your thoughts on Holani?

42:53

And then if any type of action on using those guys or how to fill it in with them if you were going that route? Yeah, I definitely like a lot. He's going to get ownership, but I mean, he has real props is one and a half receive a reception prop minus one fifty eight on the over. He's the third down back, especially if you do think this game plays kind of toward the under and Seattle gets a more third and long stuff.

43:14

You're going to see a bunch of him prices. The rookie will handle more of the early down work. And then they have Emmanuel Wilson, maybe like a third and one. You'll see Wilson trot in or something like that. But it seems very clear how long he's going to play. Almost all third downs in high impact situations in terms of pass catching. And what a price just looks terrible to starter. Can't get anything going.

43:36

Maybe Holani does mix in on a second down here or there in base work. Two minute drill like hoops talking. I think there's a lot of ways for Holani to get there. Yes, he is showing ownership, but when you play him, Maybe that's when you're playing Barner at captain, or maybe that's where you're leaving $3,000 to drop down from Romeo Doubs or I didn't do the math, but whatever it is, Alani is going to be on the field. I'm definitely going to play him.

43:58

He's also plus two Oh five to score, which is fifth on this slate. And again, those numbers are terrible. I'm not saying go out and bet touchdown props, but it does show that he does have outs. We think it's going to be priced at the goal line and stuff, but again, What if it's second and four and Price just – or first and goal at the four-yard line and Price just broke off a big run and needs a break? There comes Holani for a touchdown.

44:19

So I think he has so many outs to get there. Yeah, I mean, I think you guys know me and Hoop definitely disagree on how the Patriots backfield is going to go. I do not see Kiner playing much. I don't see Haskins really playing at all. Kiner, he has a ten-rushing prop, juice on the under. I think Stevenson – Again, it's game one. It's a huge game.

44:39

I mean, it's three-point spreads, Super Bowl, like Vrabel's going to want to win this, and having Travion being able to come back after injury and not playing today, I think gives them a lot more outs. They have a long week, of course, playing on Wednesday. I just don't see Vrabel trusting Kiner, Haskins, any of that, so... I'm hardly going to play any kinder will be the one I mix in a little bit. He's two percent on.

45:02

So if I am wrong, you have two percent or three percent in your portfolio and you get lucky there in one hundred fifty max. That's the way to go. But if I was playing like ten teams or less, I think it's Stevenson and I don't really see him coming off the field. Got to bring up this comment right quick. Tambo hoop title all look phenomenal after this offseason. Boys, got to love the early nice complimentary stuff. So we got to bring that one up.

45:24

Shout out to our guy, Lay the Hell. Shout out to BJ, checking in from the office. Hope everything's well with you as well, my man. Appreciate you and definitely enjoy having you here just to join us to start the season. And then our guy, Dollar Bill, running the CFB streets with Hamhawk and I'm Robbins and Smartt every day. Seems like every day now says, Haskins a fourth rounder in twenty twenty two on his third team.

45:45

Exactly the guy I expect New England to give fifteen to twenty snaps to yeah we've seen it go that way sometimes but yeah what was it wasn't he on the Chargers when we were following him more and expecting him to get used over there and then it just didn't pan out so it's like you said keeps getting moved around I will comment on this This is what I said earlier. So I'll tell you two sides to this story.

46:03

Because to me, it's like when people say this, they're probably going to do something very bad, but you could still do it. What I said earlier is like an example too. If it's a lower scoring game, you're right. Holani could get two goal line touchdowns, seventeen, fourteen, seventeen, seven. Seattle wins. It's like, oh, damn, you kind of did need him. But people hear that. And that's why I said a weird captain could happen, et cetera, et cetera.

46:25

But Go look at your Holani captain lineup right now and fill it out. And when it's got JSN and Drake May or Andre Stevenson in the same, if I got Holani captain, he probably comes with $5,000 on the table. So just keep that in mind. It's going to be very hard to hand build the magic version of that where it's valuable, because if most people have something like that or the cheaper captains up top, they just max it out with everything else.

46:49

And I don't think people think about that enough. One thing to add on to that point, too, is you really need to factor in salary on the slate and how salary is going to factor in, and this is just a very soft pricing, which is what you're going to see the first game of the season.

47:03

You're going to see it week one of NFL, so it's very Likely that that the captain you need tonight is just the highest scoring guy on the slate just because like factor salary is really not going to be a factor if it's a tighter priced slate where I don't know you have like the ramps like you have you need puka and davante and they're playing uh san fran and you need uh Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey you need all those guys because they're all between like, you know, twenty five and twenty fantasy points or cheaper captain would make all that work on today's slate.

47:38

It's probably just the highest scoring guy in the slate is going to be the optimal captain. Most Likely. Agreed. Excellent. Excellent point. And you worded it perfectly because I did it again. I just don't think enough people think about that when they're breaking it down. It seems second nature. I looked at my first run. Seventy five percent of my captains are across JSN, Drake May, Price and Ramondre. And that's just right out of the gate.

48:00

Yes, I have a portfolio that can allow for some of the other stuff to fit in and they're built accordingly. But it's like Hoop said, when you get the softer pricing, you're probably just going to need the highest scoring guy up top. Typically, anything can happen. It's any slate. We always talk about that. Shout out to my guy, Kevin Garnett. We know anything is possible. But just noting it, it's the setup of the slate at hand.

48:19

And that's why you got to think about that when you're going in. All right, title. Anything else you want to add there? If not, I'll let you take us into the wide receiver position. It fits the title tonight. It's wide, for sure. There's a lot of options here versus the usual. We know about JSM. We know about Brown. But it does feel like everyone's just talking about the other guys, and I don't know how much they'll actually click them. Surprisingly enough, I do think...

48:41

The Shahid steam is possible in some way, shape or form. I've seen enough people talking about him on X today. I think people are seeing defense pop and they're thinking about that double dip early on and all these different factors, but I don't know.

48:53

I don't see like Doubs, Kopp, Hollins, Doug, like some of these other guys just might, we got to wait on Horton news, but I don't see a lot of these guys actually getting clicked as much as people see them on the sheet and say, yeah, well, they're there too. I'd like to play a little bit of them, but I don't see them clicking them enough. What do you think? Yeah, I think you're probably right. The Helanis, the Worlds, Ramondre, the quarterbacks, JSN.

49:14

There's only so many spots you can go to. So I'll start on the Seattle side because I think it's really easy. JSN, Shahid, Cooper, Kopp. I don't really think it matters too much. I mean, it matters because it's one game. But even if Torrey Horton is active, I don't think he's seeing many snaps. Again, I think they're going to run a lot of Barner and Arroyo and a lot of Troll personnel.

49:35

And when that's the case, you take a receiver off the field – Cooper Clupp's clearly in the number three, so he's not always going to be on the field. He had a great Super Bowl, a solid slot guy, but Shahid's the one that's just staring me in the face. All the reports, the preseason, all that stuff. He's going to have a much greater role this year in the offense. He's going to play a lot of the twelve personnel opposite side of JSN.

49:56

We know he has Bernard. One play, he can take it to the house. So he's someone I have interest in for sure. Captain and the flex, and we're only showing about twenty percent. So I'm hoping he doesn't get steam. I guess I wouldn't be too surprised if he did, though. Cooper Cup, I'm fine with him.

50:12

Again, he's going to be on the field a decent amount, but I am worried that they're just going to run a lot of Arroyo, a lot of Barner, kind of tipping my hand. I'm going to play a bunch of tight ends, and that is at the expense of Cooper Cup. I think Cooper Cup makes more sense when you think the Patriots win or the Seahawks trail.

50:28

If they can't establish the run early, then they're going to go away from probably the tight ends more and get a skill position out there, which is Cooper Cup when they are forced into more obvious throwing down. So that's how I build, especially hand building. It's hard when you're playing a hundred fifty to narrow that down and make rules when you're playing cup, how the teams look.

50:46

But if you're doing higher dollar hand building, I do think that makes sense in Patriots leading games. On the other side for the Patriots, it's definitely harder. It's clearly A.J. Brown's number one. Romeo Doubs is number two. Both not overpriced, but they do look relatively expensive. When you look at A.J. Brown versus the quarterbacks versus JSN, I do think Browns going to be fourth on the totem pole in terms of OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗. Doubs... A solid price tag? It's a tough matchup, though.

51:15

I mean, both these secondaries are pretty good. But after those two, is it going to be – well, I think it's Pop Douglas. I feel good about that in the slot. We're showing nine percent. Like, give me Pop Douglas. I always talk about him. He rarely does – Too much because he doesn't get as many snaps. They rotate more. But he's good at football, and he can. He's a deep option for Drake May. One play.

51:36

He could be the Jahan Dotson and just absolutely get there in one. So I'm going to be overweight a nine percent pot Douglas for sure. After that, is it Tyler Williams? Is it Matt Collins? The props look like they think it's going to be Matt Collins more. Neither are really getting ownership. I don't know, man.

51:52

Tyler Williams, again, preseason, when you're playing in the preseason with backups, you're already not in the best form, but they traded away Booth, so I think that means they do like Collins and Williams a little bit. They're not going to be on the field much. Mack's a big body. Tyler Williams is a solid receiver. When you're playing JSN, Sam Darnold, and you're just going chalk, chalk, chalk. That's when I'll be playing these two down there.

52:14

I'm not trying to think that they're going to go out more than Likely. They get zero. I think that's the case. I'm actually going to take a little different approach. I will prefer Tyler over Mac slightly. I just think when he's out there, even if it's six naps, he has more likelihood to get the ball in some way and do something. Then Matt Collins, don't feel strongly about that. Again, props disagree. Those two are just clearly the four percent and one percent.

52:37

Like you're playing them to completely differentiate. You don't need to leave $2,000 on the table and you play them. You can pretty much zero out salary and that's your way to get different. But Shahid, Pop Douglas are the two at ownership that I'm really liking. Yeah, early depth charts, too, are tricky, right? You see a lot of crazy stuff, you know, when the season first kicks off. Sean does bring up a good point, though.

52:58

Four for seventy eight in the Super Bowl with a touchdown. And Jordan stole my line. I was literally just about to say, who else is going to walk in and bare feet and just go on and dummy a team for four for seventy eight and touch it like this guy? Just what are the odds we get some video like that? Absolutely. Like minus two hundred minus like this guy's coming in doing something weird, like whatever it is he does.

53:19

But what's funny is these are the guys, like what title's talking about here, whether agree or disagree on the actual Person, but it's like Hollins, Williams, Pop Douglas, like people even, they're not even talking about Douglas much, but even if they are, it's like still sub-ten percent. So you just, to title's point earlier, when you've got Drake May, Darnold, JSN, A.J.

53:38

Brown, Ramondre, two kickers, two defenses, people like the tight end, Barner and them, you got Price, you got other, there's other guys you could mention too, but my point being, These guys just cannot get there at times. So when people are looking for, like, the magic button to hit this one guy down low, if, you know, whoever that's active this game, if Ryradon is the guy, like, that's amazing. Someone said earlier, three catches, three yards, three touchdowns. Does that happen? Sure.

54:05

And whatever. But it's like there's just so many other options that you can play that people know are decent enough. They even have a solid enough projection to make your lineup good. But they're not going to get enough of them because they can't. They're just too overweight everywhere else. So I liked a lot of what you said. I liked Overshaheed under Cup. Feel good about that one. That's kind of where I'm at right now. I'd probably go more Matt Collins, but I like him and Pop both.

54:30

So those two would fit more than the Tyler Williams one. The Tyler Williams, I think, is like a quote that came up yesterday or something. Maybe I can find it here while we're doing it. But Hoop, where are you at with these wide receivers? Anything extra to add to these thoughts here? Yeah, I kind of agree with this. Like, Holland's a solid option in May captain team.

54:47

That's kind of why I'm getting higher on Drake May as the show goes on because there's just so many ways to play him in the captain. You can play him with three receivers. You can play him with, you know, two receivers and the running back. You can play him with one pass catcher. You could probably play him. Without any of them. So yeah, just the amount of options you have in Drake May captain teams make me more interested in him.

55:15

You know, JSN league of his own in terms of the pass catchers on the slate, but I do like the Patriots guys next AJ Brown Doubs, I think totally fine options. Agree with the Cooper cop stuff. Not super excited.

55:29

I'm not as excited in Shahid as, as as title is I mean the guy's a freak athlete don't get me wrong but like he's just like so gimmicky last year and I don't know I kind of want to see something but again he does have the explosiveness where one play he could be the guy you need I'm probably uh not going to fully be that be there though in terms of ownership uh pop Douglas I really like at $3,000 I like matt Collins And I'm going to call the Jahan Dotson, all right, of this slate, the random guy you needed last year, Tyler Williams.

56:02

I'm going to say Tyler Williams is the random guy you need this year to win six figures. It's going to happen. It's going to be six figures up top. Tyler Williams is going to be part of that. He was drafted highly, right? Like he was a relatively high draft pick, I believe, correct? Like he was a guy like last year they were trying to get. Third round. Third round, okay. But last year was his first year, correct? Nice number, actually. Sixty-ninth overall pick.

56:28

There it is. You know, even more reason to play him, for sure. He got the old sixty-ninth. Yeah, I mean, he looked good at the end of last year. They used him in some key spots. He had some big plays. He's going to be, like, no ownership whatsoever. Yeah. I think he's, he's just a random guy that could go off to that. So yeah. On him in the Discord today too. And he's going to have his tower up there soon.

56:50

And we'll get to some of these other questions when we get to those positions, guys. And that is the thing with the Patriots. Just one more thing I wanted to point out. Then you can have it back is. Even though they got AJ Brown and Roby or Doubs, I just, they're still going to use these other guys. Like remember last year, that was the hardest part about playing Drake made teams.

57:07

There's like so many dudes involved, just so many random guys involved, even though they have AJ Brown and Doubs, I still think they're going to mix in these other guys and you're going to get opportunities. Tyler Williams showed some promise last year. Uh, he has explosiveness. He can make the big plays. They're high on the last. I just don't think they're giving up on them this year because they got AJ Brown. So, um, I do like him straight. So this is good.

57:31

Speaking about Tyler's, our man Go Collect, first name Tyler. We met him hooping in Michigan that time. He drove out and met with us. He says, need the Pat Swiss for a re-out. Yeah, there it is. And that's the thing I love about our community. Shout out to our man Rio. Don't always crush it. But right there, ready to go with the answer. I can't gift you a free month, Rio. I think you got a little more than that coming your way.

57:53

But just noting it, he says yes on Tyler Williams with the rocket emoji. So we love to see that. So people are going to be in on him. I will say, just going back to earlier, as I said, I love about this. So I'm going to use it from a content perspective, but you can dig into old lineups and slate reviews and everything.

58:08

But if you look up Tyler Williams, from sixteen hours ago with um it's got

58:13

The pull right from Mike Nuggets NFL a new new Twitter out there that a lot of people are following he says Mike Rabel says Tyler Williams has elite release mechanics and that the Patriots will need more from this season again his route his release mechanics are as good as they come and we call that getting parallel right here as a receiver getting parallel uh prove he's more than just a deep threat catching touchdowns preseason all of that stuff and then who was the other guy you said um it was somebody else you were talking about there that we were oh Shahid So if you just go look up the latest Shahid, this one's from two days ago, but it was a Seahawks offensive expectations from underdog.

58:46

Just talked about it through Jay Fowler, ESPN motion shifts, two tight end sets. Rashid Shahid could get more work as a complete wide receiver, maybe less of that gadget stuff that we talked about. I know his prop. Um, in another Discord this morning was getting bet. And I think it went up like two yards already on longest reception. So if the thought process is, it's going to be him getting a little more action than that. Judarian price will be a big factor.

59:09

It might not be. He carries the games. I don't know. I use this for pretty much everything right now for news, but I just thought that was interesting when you talk, I knew that there was a quote on Tyler Williams. I can go find it right away. So I think that's somewhat intriguing as well. One last thing. I mentioned it really briefly, but like for the Pop Douglas, Matt Collins, Williams, trading Keyshawn Booth.

59:29

And I mean, Frabel came out and straight up said like he wasn't even going to be like on the active roster and make it the fifty three man to start the season. Like that shows a lot of hope and promise for guys like Pop, mainly Pop, but then Tyler Williams, Matt Collins, because that wasn't the expectation going into this offseason. So. And then if anyone saw Booty's response to that as professional as it gets. So that's a different story though. Yeah, definitely.

59:55

I like that call in the chat. I was talking about it too, just as well. So yeah, kicker talks coming up soon. People said tight ends. It was already asked earlier. I like this guy last year. We were on him early. I still like him on this slate.

1:00:05

If Horton was out, I would like him even more, but I'm going to, as much as the Henry and Barner stuff is good and they're at very good ownership still, like they're a little bit of a, you can fit them in, you can't play them all. So they work just fine. Even in the captain, I do like Arroyo in the, in the flex.

1:00:20

Here and you can do it a bunch of different ways but I do think he's somewhat interesting at that price point he's cheaper than halani and those guys and look I expect for good reason I think all that's accurate but I'm saying it's the price that is still nice for me and then the fact of how he could be involved down there very good athlete as people talked about in the chat like we've seen it from him already I just the injury and stuff so I think you know he'll be fine tight end Barner

1:00:44

Henry people are going to be on them they'll be fine they fit in wherever you put them but hoop do you got anything you want to go with here at tight end title already gave kind of his love for the tight end so we know where he sits what else are you thinking here at tight end yeah I like them um for sure and I said like those both of them would be my cheap captains that I would take a chance on up top because I think both of them have multiple touchdown upside Hunter Henry and Barner I probably like you know, Bernard more than, than Henry, because I just think Bernard could be like the, the second pass catcher that Sam Darnold looks to after, after JSM.

1:01:20

But I'm, I'm in on them, uh, Arroyo, uh, at, at sixteen hundred. Uh, I'm with you on that. Then the one guy I don't know much about, I mean, he has, uh, what's our projection on him? Uh, one and a half. I just don't know much about this, uh, Rairding guy.

1:01:34

So curious to see what you guys say, or if anyone on the chat has any information because, um, you know Hunter Henry like has been solid and uh they do athletic okay yeah so four point six thirty six inch vert you can get down field they can catch the ball and get a field a bit Yeah, so like Drake May captain teams, I think perfect guy to include in there.

1:01:56

And, again, I've said it probably a million times, and I probably don't need to say it again, but another reason why I like the Drake May captain because this is another guy that you can kind of throw into the mix. But, you know, definitely Barner, Henry for sure I like, and then Arroyo, and I guess I'm playing this Rairton guy because title said he's athletic. Me too. That's it, yeah. Let's see. Married, believer in Jesus. Oh, okay. Now we're talking. Rocking a little flow.

1:02:28

He got some flow too. Like the hair is there for sure. Yeah. All this is right up title. All three. Yeah. Amen. Let's go.

1:02:38

Over there so yeah I think uh I think buddy's doing all right for himself by the looks of things here so yeah looks uh you know looks very capable and I think that's interesting now going back to that comment earlier of people mentioning like the you know three for three and three I don't know if it'll be that good but again just throwing them down there could be a thing so bill always in the college football street says great pass catching tight end at notre dame do you what's the guess because I I have absolutely no clue what where's where was he drafted title what do you think um I think second round I'm gonna guess

1:03:09

I think he was pretty highly so he was up there not quite totally could be totally wrong ninety-fifth not as good as sixty-nine but six six two hundred and forty-five pounds dude this guy is ready to go man just it was great end of the third round then right Who can't play him? This ain't – what's his name? Eli? This ain't Eli Welldone. This is Raridon, buddy, so you can't be in on this. I'm not allowed to play him. This is for me and title.

1:03:38

This is for title. You've got to know that. All right, let me think here as we move on. Got to go to the next one. Kicker, the chat was already talking about it. I think it was our guy Hamwich. Oh, no, it was who? Myers to the Moon. I thought he's got the same logo Ham uses sometimes. I saw the H quickly. But, yeah, Myers to the Moon. Start us off there then, man. You've got to move off the stake.

1:04:00

Speaking of the moon, blue rare, some people call it too. But what are you doing with – oh, he's got this for you. Here we go. My guy Newen's had it queued up for me. I mean, look, nine, ten, seven, eleven, eight, ten. Two, twenty-four, fourteen, nineteen, thirteen, fifteen, fifteen, nine, ten, ten, five, fourteen, seventeen. A lot of double digits.

1:04:18

And if you're new to the show, like, you know, there's not going to be a lot of times where we're going to go through and look at box scores with kickers. I think they can tell you something. Are the teams willing to kick field goals? And that's important in this day and age, because a lot of teams are going for it on fourth and three or fourth and four. And Seattle is definitely willing to kick field goals.

1:04:38

And Meyers been one of the more consistent guys and, solid projection. I mean, we have him at basically eight and a half. Like that's a good number for, for a kicker. Like upside is probably twenty. So I love Myers and Borgalis on the other side is a guy that had big games last season. Definitely prefer Myers over him. But man, both kickers, I think strong options.

1:05:02

If you think this is a grind it out sort of game uh then you know kickers could have a boost a lot of field goals in the super bowl if you're looking at the last time these two teams played I don't know the exact number but it was like was it like twelve to three going into the uh fourth quarter so I think there's a lot of upside for these kickers I always like kickers so no one should be surprised Yeah, I think some of that's always interesting.

1:05:26

I don't want to keep covering titles face, but I will say it's like the when you lay it out like this, it always looks so good. But it's like there's what about the seven, the eight, the two, the nine, the ten, the ten, the five, the nine, the eight. Like they all to me, it's like fifty fifty of that. But I do like Myers tonight. I'm just saying it's funny just the way you put it in place. But like you said, he has upside.

1:05:45

There is some optionality here. I guess I would say, like Hoops said, I like him a lot more.

1:05:50

Than the Patriots side and I think most do but just in general it looks like I'll have a lot more Myers maybe even like double the field of that side because if to me with the way the game could go with how Vrabel does things with just a lot of different factors I think it's just way more Likely we see it versus the Seahawks whether they're up down I think they're going to kick it if they can so like that I also like the Seahawks D which we'll get to in a second but anything you want to add on kickers their title or anything any takeaways from that stuff My initial run, because I'm eating a lot of chalk at other places, like seeing twenty five percent for a kicker is just a little concerning for me.

1:06:24

You can go four hundred less and take eight percent in savings. And then you could even go any kicker to either defense. We're showing ten percent Patriots, sixteen percent Seahawks. I think today to get difference. And I like the under more in this game. I think I'm defenses over kickers and I'll just play the ownership game. And it is against you guys a bit and go Borgalis over Myers for that reason. Yeah. I mean, and that's the other thing too.

1:06:47

I like how you worded that because it's like, if you were looking at it from that perspective and even Sean just said it now, larger Delta in their ownership than I would have thought. Yeah, it is. It is quite a bit actually, but it's also like, you don't have to put any kickers in your lineup either if you don't want to. So that's the other nice thing about showdown.

1:07:04

So if you don't love it, we're obviously going position by position here, but if it's not for you, you don't have to naturally go down to something else or to like all do defense instead.

1:07:12

You can think of it of, your entire lineup and tell a story if if you're you know going to be um Stevenson up in the captain but you're going to five one well maybe it is some kicks later on Stevenson gets it going early the Patriots are putting it on them and all of a sudden they're kicking field goals when they're up and just you know taking more points more points whatever it might be so it all should go with your lineup make sure it tells a story I'll go to defenses here first and then kick it back to you, Hoop.

1:07:35

But similar story to the kickers. It's just, again, leaning that side of the game. I'm getting more Seattle than I am Patriots. But to title's point, what I do like is these guys aren't showing up as much. This would fit a lot of what I'm doing, though. Like I talked about price up top. Like you can have price with the defense. Like I think the spread is what it is. And I don't know, like...

1:07:56

I'm not trying to figure that out right now and say, like, what side's going to win because I think it goes either way. But I think, like I said earlier, five ones are too low as it starts. But I could see either side. Either it's a Super Bowl hangover and it's Rabel and the Patriots and they come back and I think they're better now. Yo, C-Rod got his contract done and dealt with. Like, everything should be fired up for them. A.J.

1:08:14

Brown's there. Tons of things you could say or could go the other way and it could just flat on their face again and Seahawks just crushed. But, you know, that's how I'm looking at it from those build perspectives.

1:08:27

Yeah like I said in the opening a little more prone to play some of these or these defenses usually I don't play much but I do want to make sure I have at least some of each side obviously um you know the Seahawks have an advantage here at home uh the whole

1:08:48

I think I want some Patriots too ownership discrepancies pretty wide um we're showing what six yeah a little like right around six uh yeah I'm gonna make sure to have some I'm never super excited about defense but again like I said in the opening I think uh this game has the potential to be maybe ugly I said like seventeen fourteen someone in the chat said twenty seventeen those are scores where uh defense could come into play Yeah, Andrews, that's what we talked about earlier.

1:09:18

I mean, again, only can estimate and just running off everything that we do, but I think it's going to be lower than usual. So I'll take a stand on both sides of five ones just to be able to get some. It looks like right now could be anywhere to, you know, seventy to eighty percent of builds that are going to be three threes and four twos. So it's it's very high.

1:09:36

And just the way it builds like that, you know, that setup is just the way it lands and all the builds sort of fit it. No matter what you like, there's always somebody there and you'll notice it's a four, two, one way, a three, three works. Like you're just rolling with that. I think these are the types of nights we want to do it. And then what's the game tomorrow night, San Francisco at the Rams. It'll, it'll be funny. Cause we're back tomorrow, two PM Eastern.

1:09:57

So make sure you guys are subscribed to the channel, but I will say it's going to be like a lot of what happens tonight. We'll bleed into tomorrow as usual, right? Like if it is a five, one that gets there and then tomorrow looks like somebody should be a five, one, it will, the pendulum will swing right away. And all of a sudden the five ones will be over-owned tomorrow night.

1:10:14

So it's kind of like flipping back and forth between that, but there's a ton of ways to get different tonight. I always say this, I usually say it off the top, but I really like this slate. I like the unknowns. It's not just that football's back. It's not just that there's a million dollars up top, but I want to play these slates where there's more unknown. Shocker that you like the first game of the NFL season. You're excited about the slate.

1:10:33

I'm surprised. Sometimes people aren't though. I think like it depends on the slate. You have to be. Everyone has to be. No one's going to say, I hate this slate. Like everyone's excited. Right. For the different reason. I'm saying most people are excited that football's back. We had the gist popping in the Discord all day. Everyone's excited that it's back. I always tell it the truth. I always tell it straight on the slates and how much I like them.

1:10:53

This would be an upper echelon slate for me. Like I'm not just playing more action because it's night one. I guess my point is, I guess my point is if, You didn't like the slate. You wouldn't come out and say it tonight just because, like, the excitement. You don't want to be the buzzkill, like, oh, I'm not excited. Yeah, I'm going to be hyped on energy no matter what. I will tell you if I don't like a slate.

1:11:13

This slate, I really want people to know the hype is not just for night one, to your point, but it is because I actually do think this is a really good slate for DFS.

1:11:22

Like, I think we've got a lot of ways to get to the top tonight, and I think we can definitely see My biggest hope is like always, and, and, you know, title, we talk about this with the dupes and stuff, but I think tonight's a slate meaning good slate for me is where we could actually see it chopped ten ways or less. And that's what gets me excited for these slates. I want to play to win the most amount.

1:11:40

I want to solve the season early and then be able just to kind of play through the season, not have to grind through after, you know, night after night after night. So yeah, we're saying, saying the same things, different ways, title, any thoughts from you on the defenses? Yeah, I like the defenses more than the kickers, just looking at the ownership. And I think Seahawks are phenomenal for sure.

1:11:59

And like you said, last year we had ten dupes and it was one hundred $72,000 with fifteen dollars. This year is twenty dollars, one hundred $32,000. So that's an extra $40,000 people in that contest where there was still only ten dupes. So that can end with how soft salary is, with how many options there are. Yeah, I mean, it wouldn't be completely shocking if you saw four dupes or something like that. So, yeah, I do think it's a good slate, too.

1:12:23

Regardless of it being night one. Even if it was bad, though, anytime there's one hundred $32,000 people and we say it a lot like NFL, there's a lot more prizes early, a lot more fish early. As the season goes on, the fish lose their money and More stuff goes on. People get a little more sick of it. And the prizes are always still great, but they do shrink.

1:12:42

You're going to see week three on a Thursday night showdown game is going to look nothing like we see this week. So I do think now is the time to push your edge a little bit if you do think you have one. That doesn't mean just go broke and not being able to be dealt in as the weeks go on. You've got to stay in the game to have a chance to win. So definitely Bankroll ManagementBankroll management is how you size your DFS spending relative to the money you have set aside to play, called your bankroll, so normal losing streaks do not wipe you out.Write down your per-slate limit before the season starts. Spending rules are much easier to keep when you set them before a losing streak, not during one.Full explanation ↗.

1:13:01

But, yeah, I'll be playing way more volume in week one than I will most of this year, and that's just because of the prizes. Yeah, agreed. I like that call. And I think, you know, from the poker spot, we didn't bring that one up early. Another thing you're grinding usually. So it's like you got to push the chips in there. But I think it's good. I think you made some good points there on that stuff as well. It's going to be a fun slate hoop.

1:13:20

Is there anything on the FanDuel side that you wanted to talk about? I'm going to move this back now. I think I've got it set up. Yeah, so we have the same, just so people know, again, not every site does this, but we do have the FanDuel with the different ownership. You'll be able to balance it all out and build from there.

1:13:36

But just looking at some of the pricing here, Flex-wise, JSN's, Thirteen K, Drake May, just anything you see as we're scrolling through here that stands out for you. There's a couple standouts, like... Doubs is up there. Like, the Cooper Cup range, like Cooper Cup, fifty-four. Helani, $5,000. Barner definitely stands out at forty-eight. Like, those... Three seem cheap kind of compared to their prices over on DK. Um, you go down to the boost though. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Yeah.

1:14:08

So you go down to the bottom, like not too much of a difference.

1:14:11

It's kind of, you know, you got JSN at the top, you got Drake may Sam Darnold, AJ Brown, um, Stevenson and price are a little closer in in price only eight hundred dollar difference here I believe they're maybe like uh what is it twelve hundred over on on DK so not much of a difference I will say though yeah that $5,000 low $5,000 upper $4,000 cup Holani and and Barner seem pretty cheap on uh on FanDuel it's going to be harder for people to get to price over there too.

1:14:40

It looks like just because the pricing is so close to Stevenson, it's probably almost like you can't have to look into it further on the FanDuel side, but it's like, it is such a gap.

1:14:47

But remember too, like you see projections and ceilings and people use this and you should, it's typically accurate and good, but in a one game slate and when you're flipping it, if you don't manually change it yourself, you can also mentally change it yourself and just say, all right, well, I actually see it's going to be price that gets what Stevenson does. And I think Stevenson is going to get a little bit held in check.

1:15:06

So, even if you leave that money on the table from $15,000 down to $13,800 and flip the game script you're basically in your your mind saying that I'm good with that because I think price is actually going to outdo this don't just fall in love with it and have to roll with it I think on the bigger slates and you know big twelve gamer on Sunday that will break down Sunday morning at nine a.m eastern here that's where it's like okay I'm not gonna sacrifice as much but if you're telling a story with it especially on these one game slates I think it's super important Title, anything else you wanted to add from a FanDuel perspective?

1:15:37

It doesn't have to be prices or players. You talked a little bit earlier about $200,000 up top. Not many people are even talking about it, but I just think over there it is even more condensed. Like JSN, Drake, May, Romandre and Darnold is like even Brown is could could be like what we have. He could be really low on just because those first four get almost all the action up top to Hoops point earlier. Just going further with this.

1:15:59

The softer pricing on DraftKings allows you're going to need the top scorer. So people are expecting that. But the top scorer could be Price, Brown, Shahid, any of those guys. And also the price boosts at Flex to some of those other guys. You don't have Henry at $4,800. He's $7,600. So you'd have to go.

1:16:15

Go to somebody else down there and say, okay, maybe it's going to be Tyler Williams or maybe it's not going to be, um, price or it's not going to be Shahid story. It's going to be, uh, who'd we talk about earlier? Barner down there at $4,800. So you can get there the same way, but I think MVPs get a little tighter over on FanDuel. Yeah, I agree because the pricing is also soft over on FanDuel as well. So it's very similar.

1:16:36

And if you're looking at the stone like we show at JSN, Drake May, Raymond Dre, we don't have to go dumpster diving. And unless you were living under a rock last year, but FanDuel also took the DraftKings where you do have to pay more at MVP, which is a lot better. So then some of the value, like Coop mentioned, that $5,000 range is strong, but Tyler Williams all the way down to... If you want that. Arroyo, three point $4,000.

1:17:01

Pop Douglas looks good at three eight. The last thing that I'll mention is I don't hate almost taking in some lineups like a full zero at the $1,000 guys. And then I probably wouldn't want to leave more than six hundred that Eli Raridon dudes one point $6,000. If he gets one catch, it feels like you're almost drawing dead if you leave eight hundred because any of those stone dead Russell guys at $1,000 then would go to Raridon.

1:17:26

But it gets you on a little different build if you want to jam all the studs no one plays them we could see if it's concert and concentrated enough and the studs do what the studs do a zero at full $1,000 that uses most of their salary and those lineups could be duped pretty little as well just because no one wants to click someone that's almost unprojected so that's something I'm more interested on FanDuel than on DraftKings today Yeah.

1:17:50

I like that too. I think it's going to be a good night for that. Like if I, you know, if you can, man, I'm going to have some Raridon or whatever you say his name, I'm getting some of them hand builds right after this, just thinking about some ideas with that. Like you said, if you're using a lower price guy going along those lines, I think is a pretty good idea.

1:18:05

If you guys missed it off the top, our early bird special over at Ship It Nation is still live, three forty nine for the entire season. If you'd rather pay monthly, you can go down, go to single sport. You've got NFL content only or you can get it with SaberSim and pay monthly or for the annual deals a little bit better. Obviously, if you do that and then if you're looking at the all access prices, just noting it. There is one SaberSim special.

1:18:28

We now include DFS Mastermind for free with the starter and annual, but you can actually get the starter annual until lock on Sunday for ninety nine dollars a month. But you pay it up front. It's twelve hundred dollars. It's not advertised. You have to email info at ShipItNation.com for the link or DM me at Totag and Tambo. We'll get you set up. But if you want to get everything done, get in ShipIt games like we talked about.

1:18:51

Get your chance at the $45,000 plus. It's every all access and NFL only member. Very simple breakdown. You should use our stuff. We just showed you how fun, easy and good it is to use. And the people are winning with it. You can check out Winner's Circle on the front page. Tons of money. But even if you didn't use it, pay the two ninety nine for the season to get in Ship It Games. It's like twenty bucks a week.

1:19:12

It works out to and the link will be in Discord for members. I do want to announce that quickly for those members that are watching. We're giving you a warning. We'll give you the warning each week. It's going to be up to four hundred ninety nine people, but it's only going to be posted in Discord, not emailed out. And the breakdown is this.

1:19:28

If you sign up today, you'll have a chance to get in week one because we're going to put the link out tomorrow. So even though we're doing a show tomorrow, we're going to keep getting more new people coming in. A lot of them might not get into the week one because they didn't get in in time. Week one is starting now tonight. So we're giving you the heads up tomorrow in the Discord.

1:19:46

The week one qualifier where the first three people will not only win a Golden ship a ticket but will also win a chance to play in the share ship and grow the pool etc in week two that will go out tomorrow the first four hundred and ninety nine members will get in and it will be posted in Discord Can't say it enough times. Can't make it easier for you guys.

1:20:07

It's so that the most active, engaged members of the community have a chance to get in. It's Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Full explanation ↗. You put your lineup in, you play it. Those with the top three scores will get the first three Golden shipets. They'll get to play and share in a three thirty three to $555 range ticket the next week where fifty percent of the profit would go back to the prize pool and boost their chances there.

1:20:28

And ultimately, just so you guys know, like I say, some people are giving away three, three, three tickets or a chance at a thousand dollar thing or something. We're giving away $10,000 cash, $5,000 cash, $2,500 cash, twelve fifty cash twice and a thousand cash six times. So it's like if you look at those prizes, most people are giving away one tenth of that or anything for that matter. So, you know, one one hundred.

1:20:51

Like if you look at it from that perspective. It's the best way to get in. All you got to do is go to ShipItNation.com. You can join any of the plans that are all access, as you see down here, or single sport NFL. If you want the early bird special with SaberSim, it's just three forty nine. That also ends on Sunday. Title, any final thoughts from you, man, before we get out of here? Five hours on the dot. We will see some football on our screen.

1:21:14

So good luck to everybody. I definitely enjoy talking some football. And, yeah, embrace the unknowns right now. We'll talk about it more on Sunday. People think they know what's going to happen. We really don't. Then people over-adjust. Week two, whatever happens week one, it's a showdown game. We already know anything can happen. But, yeah, I'm definitely excited. A lot of football on the screen in the coming days. So good luck to everybody. Yeah, man.

1:21:36

Excited to be back here in the booth with you guys. Hoop, we got to answer this one first before you go. You've been doing a lot of best ball drafts. You only can pick one. Shout out the way too lit for a buck ninety nine. Do you want digs in the flex or do you want Romeo Doubs? This must be for a season long league, too. We're going extra and above here. That's a pretty rough decision, week one of NFL, if you're number two wide receiver.

1:22:00

No, it might be number two flex. Maybe he has two flex spots. Yeah, you're right. Diggs, I guess. It's close, but I would say Diggs. I put it in the chat too, so yeah. I'll say Diggs. Appreciate the question, but we'll roll with Diggs. Shout out to LSU Nick. He's talking about the link for Ship It Games. No.

1:22:21

We will tag the channel in the morning and say, heads up, this link is coming out, and then we will post it so that everyone can at least have their fair shot. We want the most engaged people to be in it. That was one of the number one complaints. Again, most communities don't do this either, where they take the stock of the members to say, what did you like? What did you hate? You guys told us what you hated. We adapted.

1:22:40

We changed it. We made it better. Everyone's going to get their fair shake now. Every single week, you're welcome to play. As long as you're an all access or NFL only member, you'll get the heads up like everybody else on a regular week. Just to be clear, it will be announced probably Monday morning or Monday afternoon that it's, you know, once we get the link from DraftKings that it's coming out soon. And once we get the link, we'll post it, but you'll get a heads up.

1:23:02

You'll, you'll be able to have a chance to get in there. So how many people want a million dollars so far? We've had four or five Milly Maker winners. You can just go to winner circle.com. And then you scroll down and partnered with SaberSim directly. So you get all the Rolex watch. The whole Winter Circle program is live for anybody who doesn't know it too. But we did interviews with Chris and with Dalton.

1:23:24

That's two different members that won a million bucks. Then our guy Mark F won it with a Justin Watson captain that week. I remember the showdown slate. That was awesome. And it was funny because D-Dry is Dalton was the, First guy right there to congratulate him and say, Daniels, you joined the club. So congrats. And then our man, Chad, Chad Scarberry. So Scar X two four said, well, boys, I've been close twice today. It finally happened.

1:23:46

He won the Mills by point five in golf. Tons of $100,000 winners, though. You can see like our internal staff, but then all kinds of members. And then $10,000 just keeps growing. And then we can't even put the screenshots for the thousands. Like anybody from a thousand to $5,000, et cetera. Just the list keeps going on. You can make it bigger. Like there's tons of options there for you guys to get in. All the rules are on the site.

1:24:09

Any withdrawals? No, Jill's not here, but we'll get back into the golf season sooner than you think. Hoop, back, baby. Final thoughts. Anything you want to add before we get out of here? Feels good to be back. Excited to have football. We'll be back, obviously, tomorrow, so you guys won't miss us too much. And then Sunday morning as well, and a lot in between. I know Title has the cash show. Tambo, you have the... Leverage Lane with Blickle, yeah. Yeah, Leverage Lane with Blickle on Saturday.

1:24:36

So a lot of stuff to come for the rest of the week. We're excited. All our content will obviously be up soon for tonight's slate, and then we'll get working on tomorrow's slate, and then the full slate on Sunday as well. So make sure to get over to shipandnation.com.

1:24:51

Check us out get in so you can be part of Ship It Games uh like tambo said like there's no one in the in they're trying to to upsell you on bigger and more expensive packages and split up their content into different packages so you have to play pay them twice over here we're giving money back to our customer base so it's something we're definitely proud of uh just another reason to join so yeah excited for the football game tonight and we'll be back tomorrow at two p.m eastern Yeah.

1:25:17

And like you said, too, we're also offering deals that are for less cost per month for you to get in on. So it's like a lot of gouging out there, but not giving away anything back and way too lit says it's rough, man. Two flex leagues. Thank you. Definitely excited for this, guys. Make sure to Beetle Bane, shout out to him, says turn notifications on. Definitely. He said, I got $50,000 off a slate like this a couple of years ago.

1:25:39

Big thanks to Hoop that day. Hoop's core is up on the site. Ours will go. I know titles got the Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. We'll have the show summary for those that couldn't catch it or want to go back to it and find some stuff out. It's going to be a fun season, guys. Hopefully you'll join us. If not, you can always just watch the free shows with us. It helps us a ton.

1:25:56

If you just hit that thumbs up, make sure to subscribe to the channel. That's going to do it for this one, guys, for title, for hoop, and for myself, ToeTagginTambo. Good luck tonight. Let's ship it.
