The Short Version

Matthew Belman and Ryan Davenport approach Week 8 through ownership pivots, with Jets passing stacks preferred over following the crowd onto their running game alone. Garrett Wilson ($6,300) is a major tournament call, while Geno Smith draws an explicit overweight stance. Josh Allen offers the preferred expensive quarterback ceiling. The hosts disagree on Dak Prescott, with Dallas rushing volume providing the counterargument to stacking its passing game.

Derrick Henry ($7,200) gets the strongest running back ceiling call, with Lamar Jackson’s return expected to open rushing lanes. Braelon Allen, Jonah Coleman and Rhamondre Stevenson provide value, while Chase Brown’s ownership and workload spark disagreement. The Buccaneers stack offers a chance to revisit last week’s disappointing chalk at lower ownership. Gunnar Helm supplies tight end savings; Brock Bowers is preferred to Trey McBride. Dallas and Jacksonville are favored defensive alternatives to Denver.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
His incomplete recovery makes him harder to roster, but the large ownership discount from Josh Allen is appealing. 2:36
PAY UP Worth $7,700 on DraftKings or $9,400 on FanDuel for the chance to combine multiple rushing and passing touchdowns in a high-scoring game. 3:40
LEVERAGE An alternative to Dak Prescott and the attention on Jacksonville's running game, although the hosts differ over the risk of Jacksonville stopping its passing attack early. 5:18
FADE Explicitly dismissed against Jacksonville after Indianapolis traded Quentin Nelson. 6:21
OVERWEIGHT The passing game is the preferred overweight position against a bad Raiders defense while Braelon Allen attracts the attention. 10:11
Kyler Murray + Justin Jefferson + Jordan Addison IN PLAY The show considers Murray stacks with Jefferson and Addison in the dome against Detroit, citing rushing upside and appealing receiving options. 11:55
At $5,000 he is floated with his receivers healthy after the bye, but enthusiasm remains limited by offensive line concerns. 12:20
Baker Mayfield + Chris Godwin + Cade Otton TOP STACK Revisit Tampa Bay's passing game after last week's disappointing chalk because the same inexpensive options are now attracting little ownership. 13:37
Drake Maye + DeMario Douglas + Hunter Henry IN PLAY New England's injuries concentrate the available receiving options, making these stacks appealing for floor even though Geno Smith stacks are preferred in tournaments. 14:43
VALUE At $4,900 his rushing production makes him a cheap option for 150-lineup builds, and he is preferred to similarly priced Justin Herbert. 15:31
VALUE Included among the slate's best running back values and preferred to Chase Brown in the running back comparison. 17:50
VALUE The preferred running back value with Breece Hall out, combining a favorable matchup with a $6,100 salary. 18:17
The hosts are split between wanting to exceed the field's exposure and finding $9,500 too difficult in the Minnesota matchup, especially in single-entry builds. 18:43
FADE Both reject the request to endorse him for this slate. 18:43
LEVERAGE A strong low-owned stance at $7,200, with Lamar Jackson opening rushing lanes and a vintage multi-touchdown game offering a tournament-winning path. 20:20
VALUE His cheap salary and potential work while trailing make him a leading value, with Braelon Allen's emergence expected to reduce his ownership. 21:40
ONE-OFF Use the Dallas running game on the expectation of another heavy workload and a ground-focused win. 22:38
The hosts disagree over his ownership and reliability: Jeffrey Simmons' absence helps the matchup, while Samaje Perine's involvement and a potential blowout complicate the workload. 23:19
FADE Explicitly ruled out for today's slate. 25:12
ONE-OFF His recent production and big-play ability keep him in consideration despite Rico Dowdle sharing the backfield. 25:12
OVERWEIGHT Take more than the field in 150-lineup builds because his upside remains high at low ownership, with the Jets missing David Bailey. 27:17
Geno Smith Stacks + Ashton Jeanty or Brock Bowers BRING-BACK Jeanty and Bowers are the natural opposing pieces for Jets stacks if New York scores and forces Las Vegas to respond. 27:17
Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb IN PLAY Lamb is the natural pairing for Prescott against Arizona, but the hosts are split because Dallas could instead control the game on the ground. 31:09
ONE-OFF The preferred standalone expensive receiver because of expected targets and the strongest floor-ceiling combination among the top options. 31:09
The hosts disagree between avoiding Minnesota's matchup and embracing the low ownership at $8,000 on DraftKings or $8,500 on FanDuel. 31:57
ONE-OFF The preferred standalone option from the second receiver tier, although the top-priced receivers are harder to pass over. 32:49
ONE-OFF A leading $6,300 tournament receiver and preferred standalone play over Michael Wilson, with a central role in Geno Smith stacks. 34:35
The hosts are split between tournament ceiling and avoiding him because he did not practice fully after the bye. 35:26
ONE-OFF Both retain interest after 131 air yards failed to produce results the previous week. 36:19
LEVERAGE George Pickens playing keeps his ownership down while leaving a cheaper receiver with a legitimate ceiling for Dallas stacks. 37:51
The hosts disagree over whether his increased salary is justified, with Lamar Jackson's return supporting the positive case. 38:36
VALUE The clear preferred $3,000 receiver after seven targets last week, with Carnell Tate's absence further improving his role. 39:20
Joe Burrow Stacks + Elic Ayomanor or Wan'Dale Robinson BRING-BACK Tennessee's cheap receivers supply opposing pieces for Burrow stacks because the anticipated game script should require heavy passing. 40:06
VALUE At $2,500 he should play extensively and benefit from Carnell Tate's absence, with less attention than Tennessee's receivers. 42:33
Preferred to Trey McBride because of the ownership difference and the expectation that Las Vegas will need to throw against the Jets. 43:45
CORE Explicitly identified as a core tight end play. 45:50
The hosts are split over chasing his production at $5,000, with the positive case resting on continued low ownership despite the salary increase. 46:06
Geno Smith + Garrett Wilson + Mason Taylor IN PLAY Use a double stack because Smith is not relying on rushing production, with Mason Taylor or Omar Cooper Jr. available alongside Wilson. 47:19
Geno Smith + Garrett Wilson + Braelon Allen IN PLAY An alternative Jets construction that includes the running back to capture team scoring without requiring him to be an efficient receiver. 47:26
ONE-OFF Interest rises at $3,800 if Colby Parkinson misses after failing to practice all week. 48:22
Broncos DST UNDERWEIGHT Prefer getting away from the popular cheap defense because Patrick Mahomes limits the sack and interception paths needed for a large score. 51:02
Jaguars DST PAY UP Worth the expensive salary against Indianapolis, with the Colts' weakened offensive line supporting substantial upside. 51:29
Cowboys DST LEVERAGE A favorite $3,200 defense against popular Arizona offensive pieces, with returning starters and an injured opposing line supporting the contrarian case. 52:21
Joe Burrow + Ja'Marr Chase TOP STACK Named as a favorite stack, with Tennessee's ability to score determining how long Cincinnati needs to keep attacking through the air. 54:03

All systems go. Clear for liftoff. What is going on, Ship It Nation YouTube station? And Matt, I'm feeling very good about this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. I got a lot of Contrarian guys I want to get to, but I'm going to bring you in right away so we can get things cranking, man. How are you doing? How are you feeling about this Week eight?

1:01

I'm doing okay, man. Happy to be on here with you. Unfortunately, I had to miss the Friday show for some circumstances that you know about. And we're doing okay, though. So, like I said, happy to be on here with you. I got some Contrarian takes, too. So I don't think we're going to be fighting as much today as we usually do, which is sad, but also good in a way. Yeah, go ahead. I'm just interested to see if our Contrarian takes are the same.

1:25

I feel like some of them are, some of them aren't. Excited to talk it out. Yeah, excited to talk it out. This is my favorite show of the Week because we're going to get inactives during the show. We're going to talk about who we like, who we don't like. We know what the field's doing now. We know Braylon Allen is in. Brees Hall is more Likely out. So if someone in the chat, once that comes popping, can put it in there, we'll do it.

1:47

But we're going to do it like we do each and every Sunday. I have our stone, two point oh, pulled up right now that I'm showing. We're going to go by DK. We're going to start at DK ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. DK projection over on DraftKings.com where Josh Allen against this Ravens team, one of the marquee games of the day, got a fifty four and a half point total. So how are you handling these? I'll call them big boy quarterbacks.

2:12

There's a lot of good plays on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. There's a lot of game environments that look appealing. A lot of spots and tournaments you could make cases for. I don't have like a. Strong, strong stance on the high-priced quarterbacks. I think certainly we've seen time and time again, Josh Allen always in play. I mean, in a game environment that Baltimore is Likely to push them.

2:36

Lamar on the other side is a little bit more difficult to get to, given the time he missed and the news coming out today that he's still not a hundred percent. That said, you'll get a massive OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. So that's appealing in its own right. And again, a game that should see a lot of points with both teams putting each other.

2:59

We talked about Burrow last Week, and he had one of the best second halves of any quarterback this century. So he really put on a show and in a great spot today. You feel like if Tennessee can put up any points at all today, Burrow and that passing game could nuke. I like Trevor Lawrence also against the Colts team that just looks completely out of it.

3:21

I think you could make cases, and I'm sure you're going to talk about Drake May, your boy, who you've been on a bunch. You could make cases for, I think, every top QB. I don't think any of them is a bad play. I just don't think one of them stands out. Do you? So, no, that's a great point. I've been, you know, started building teams last night and kind of looking at looking at all that.

3:40

And to your point, there's really not one QB that sticks out to me. And Matt, I feel like when that's the case, I want a guy that that has the best chance of getting a forty ball. And that's Josh Allen. I mean, you're going to have to pay for him, but he's Superman. He is $7,700 at home and $9,400 on FanDuel. So you have to pay for him.

4:02

But I think if you're in that boat where you don't know who it's going to be, could it be Burrow? Could it be Dak? Could it be Lamar? Who are we stacking with? When the chips are down, man, Josh Allen can rush for two, throw for two. He's obviously got the biggest ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. But I think his ownership comes down a little bit, and we have it at ten percent right now.

4:22

I think it actually comes in lower than that because people are going to want to play the Burrow stacks. They're going to want to play Dak and CD. They're going to want to play Jacobs. So I love some Josh Allen today. I really do. He's probably my top QB, but all those other quarterbacks that you mentioned, like we're playing, we're both playing one fifty.

4:39

And like we said, I mean, you're going to want a piece of some of all those guys, Joe Burrow, the way you've beat the Titans traditionally, Matt is through the air, but we're going to get into running back. And obviously Jeffrey Simmons is no longer there. That's kind of picked your poison. I was looking to see as you were talking Tennessee total points of Tennessee's going to score seventeen to a Vegas thing. So Tennessee puts up seventeen.

4:59

I think Joe Burrow could put up forty two. That's obviously six touchdowns. So Where are those going to come from? And then I do like your boy, Drake May. I love me some Drake May today in Miami. I saw Ross just sent out a tweet about the weather. So certainly want to pay attention to that. I mean, I know it's baked into the projection and all this, that, and the other.

5:18

But Matt, personally, like when it's raining or snowing or something like that, I don't necessarily love it, but we'll see. And then Trevor Lawrence, you nailed Trevor Lawrence. I like Trevor Lawrence. They're slated to score four touchdowns as well. And so Tootin's going to get a lot of love. I think I'm going to be ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Read the full definition of Contrarian. We are on the Contrarian construction show. Give me some Lawrence today for sure. Yeah, there's a cheaper quarterback I like a lot who we'll talk about.

5:43

For me, my biggest issue with Lawrence and why I'm not head over heels on him is Week one against Cleveland.

5:51

Like it could be a similar outcome here where the Jags just roll and he's really good in the first half and then they just don't really need to throw in the second half alternatively though man as you said this is the Contrarian construction show and I just want to speak on like kind of an overarching point I've heard all Week I've said it about how dead the Colts are they got guys who have requested trades playing today It's still the NFL, man.

6:21

The talent discrepancy between any two teams is often very, very small. The margins are thin. How crazy would it be to see the Colts come in and not even say win that game, but be super competitive? Yeah, to me... I don't think it's possible. I mean, there's definitely no interest in Dimes. But, you know, they traded Quentin Nelson, arguably their best offensive lineman. Danny Dimes isn't a great quarterback. And then you've got Jacksonville on a Week's rest.

6:54

And they have, I don't know, Matt, to me, what, top three, top five defense out there? Yeah. I don't see how it stays competitive. And to your point, like I do have Trevor Lawrence in a high dollar team today because I do think they get thirty and I'm hoping that the Colts can put up for, you know, fourteen. I say early, I'll say the first three quarters and keep keep the foot on the gas. So certainly get your point.

7:19

But I think I'm in more on T-Law than you are. It sounds like. Yeah, I like him. I just don't like like him that much more than me. You talk about Alan. I like Dak more than you. I mean, we haven't even talked about Dak yet. He's the same price as Lawrence. So I think Lawrence is a really good PivotA pivot in DFS is an alternative player or lineup combination you choose instead of another option. Tournament pivots usually seek comparable scoring upside at lower ownership, meaning fewer competing lineups use them. Before swapping, check what the replacement changes around it: your remaining salary, teammates, opposing players and available later-starting options.Read the full definition of Pivot off of Dak. But yeah, I mean, I like Dak here. Yeah, yeah. So I know you like Dak.

7:46

So talk about Dak, and I'll kind of give you the counter reasons why I don't like Dak. But go ahead. Yeah, so I could see scenarios where Dallas just rolls here and they run a lot, or they just run the ball in the end zone anyways, and ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Read the full definition of Contrarian side of me wants to get away from Dak. But I like Bo Nix against this Arizona defense last Week.

8:08

He got there now on the heels of a six-yard rushing TD, but he still looked better than he had all year. Arizona's defense is not good. Dak's at home. And the biggest thing is Dallas defense is atrocious. So I just don't have any confidence that they're going to be able to stop even a team like Arizona, meaning that I think Dallas has to throw. So that's why I like Dak.

8:31

I don't think that's a guarantee, and I could see you backing off that OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership, but I think he's a good play. Yeah, so, I mean, I love the Cowboys just in general, and the reasons I don't like Dak – is because, A, I think, you know, we saw it Monday night and we saw Shadi talking about it. It's like this team is at its best when it's more of like a, I'll call it a fifty-fifty balance. And they gave Javonte the ball.

8:59

I just think they want to play more ground game. They have the offensive line. Defensive line advantage, this Carolina team is missing Walter Nolan again this Week. They're very bad. Buda Baker may get traded, showing up in mass to press conferences and stuff. So I think it's going to be more of a ground and pound with Goodson and more Javonte than Goodson. But that's why I don't like Dak in tournaments. In one-fifty, I'll certainly have some.

9:22

But if I'm doing Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. He's going to be by far the highest zone, too. I will say also, I feel like quarterback, unless there's outlier performances, sure, especially with guys like Allen that rush it in. You can only play one guy, and there's so many different options that look similar.

Anybody that we haven't touched on yet, maybe some of these lower, lower price guys that you have.

I think, I mean, if I were playing one lineup, I don't know if I would use him, but in like one, the guy I want to be almost overweight on is Gino Smith. I like the Jets a lot today. And Braylon Allen, who I'm a huge fan of, you are too. We both love him. I think he's a great play today. But he's getting a lot of love. The passing game isn't. The Raiders defense is bad.

10:40

He's coasting track east. I really like the passing game against the Jets today. You saw they had a little hashing out on the sideline last Week. I think this is the perfect spot for them. Don't think that Geno doesn't want to give it to his old squad where he looked atrocious last year. I'm not playing it because of that, but it doesn't hurt. Can't believe I'm saying it, but I love Geno today. You mentioned Bo. I think Bo's okay. Two gross ones that I'll throw out, Matt. Kyler Murray, only $5,600 in a dome versus Lions defense that I know there are different offenses to the man. I'm off. Wanted to use teams against the Lions.

11:27

I think right now, like I thought you made some great points last Week or maybe the Week before. That was last. That was last Week. Last Week against the Packers. Yeah, they looked better off the bye. Their cornerback room is still bad, but Brian Branch is a dude. I mean, he's the best player in their secondary. He brought it last Week, so I get it. I get Kyler because he's so cheap. I mean, it's still not good.

11:49

He's still not good, but he does have rushing upside, and the Lions should be the most popular defense on FanDuel today.

11:55

Uh but you got you got Justin Jefferson I think it's better than Golden and Watson maybe you could argue that I like Jordan Addison once again not that I like him because it's a revenge game but TJ Hawkins revenge game narrative as well I like Kyler going up against um I like Kyler going up against um the Lions today and then the last one this is super gross Matt but Justin Herbert at only $5,000.

12:20

You got Trey Harris off the injury report. If not now, Matt, when is the time in a dome? I don't know if this is a home game or a road game. It really doesn't matter. It's the same arena like Justin Herbert at $5,000. Any interest there? Not really before you said it, but I get it.

12:43

I mean. You got to feel like this is about pride at this point. Coming off their bye, I'm not confident in the Rams' defense to shut out anyone. And you see these teams get healthier after the bye. I still worry about their O-line. Yeah, they definitely have some O-line woes. And when you're going up against Aaron Donald and Byron Young and co., I certainly get it. And then, Matt, I'm surprised you didn't say your favorite quarterback in the whole wide world.

13:14

Yeah, no, I was about to talk about Baker. I like Baker. Okay, you go Baker, then I got one for you after that. Yeah, he's not my favorite quarterback in the whole world, but I thought that's who you were talking about because I seem to like him all the time. And Baker is in play for me here. Last Week was weird. The Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. In football, teams protecting a lead often run more, while teams chasing a deficit often pass more. Before locking a lineup, ask who keeps playing if your expected script reverses. Tampa didn't need to throw at all.

13:37

I think you have a little bit of a different story today. You got Baker definitely wanting to give it to Stefanski. No doubt about that on the other sidelines there. Baker again, man, like he hasn't been good this year, but I still think he's talented. And you got cheap options. All the same cheap options that were chalk last Week aren't getting played this Week. I love running it back with like Baker, Otton, Hurst. Godwin, they're the same plays, man. Like, I know you love that.

14:09

As much as you don't like Baker, probably even Tampa, I know you love the idea. I love the idea, now that you say it that way, because didn't Hurst and Otton put up as many points as you did? Exactly. And, like, that's not going to happen again. I mean, maybe they don't smash, but I'm willing to put my money on it at OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Maybe you like the weapons instead of Baker, but I'm in on Baker here.

14:34

Who's the QB you were talking about? Hold on. Let's get to Sean. Would you rather play Maystacks or GenoStacks? I mean...

14:43

Rather play geno stacks in tournaments I think there's more upside but it's hard to say like in smaller field like Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Read the full definition of Cash Game that may doesn't have a higher floor you know and the weapons are pretty easy to secure uh from New England right now with all the all the injuries that are going through yeah brown so you're gonna have Douglas you're gonna have henry as the top two I'll call them pass catching options and then if you wanted to throw in remandre would kind of be number three and then Maybe Efton Chisholm or Ray or Don in a big tournament.

15:10

I'm with you though in tournaments. It's Gino. Cause I know Garrett Wilson. I think Garrett Wilson, Garrett Wilson smash Week. We'll get there. The one that I was going to talk about, then we'll move on to running back is your boy is your boy, Matt. He's not an NFL quarterback. He's a running back behind the line. Malik Willis at $4,900 bucks. He was cutting up last Week. He's only sixty five. He's stone men on.

15:31

I guess he's not stone men on Fandleby sixty five. He put up twenty two, almost twenty three Fandleby. He's going to rush. He's going to pass. So any love for Malik Willis this Week? I don't even I don't even need to bring back with him. I hadn't thought about. OK, let me ask you, Malik or Herbert. Same price, basically Malik. OK, I like I mean, everyone's going to play the other side of that game.

15:53

They're coming off winning on the road as a huge dog. Now they're back home. I like it. I'm in on it. Yeah. I'm going to have some Malik in one fifty for sure. Good stuff there. I do want to. I got a comment on Jeff's comment here. Raiders revenge against Gino Raiders. Hate that dude. So I can't say I don't. I can't say I hate that take because honestly, I'm a I'm someone that often likes to play the other side of the revenge game.

16:19

Like the Raiders are not going to want to let Gino Smith. Eat them up here. And I could see why you would be like, let me play the Raiders D in this spot. That said the Jets and Gino aren't popular. And I just think their defense, the Raiders that is, is bad enough where the Jets offense is good enough to take advantage of it. So I see that side of it. I'm just playing the Gino side. Yeah.

16:43

And the other thing I would say to that too, is that if Pete Carroll was still there, maybe try to get the, but this is a new regime, maybe the same GM, but Gino, Gino has in his mind, I hate the Raiders, regardless of if Pete Carroll there, that GM's probably still there. Great point. Great point. Like the revenge is definitely there a hundred percent with Gino or the wanting to get back.

17:04

Whereas the Raiders, I'm sure it's there a little bit, but on some guys, not on some guys to your point. Yeah. All right. Moving over to running backs for Matt. We say it every single stinking Week, but it is just absolutely loaded this Week. We got, they said it on the show this morning. We got the big dogs and the big dog, but we got the big dogs not garnering much ownership because you got the Jonah, Jonah Coleman of the world.

17:27

You got the Braylon Allen's of the world, but man, how are you handling? Let's just, let's just talk about the the running back room in general, how are you handling this running back room? Are you, do you, are you fading the big dogs? You go on mid tier, how you handle it? It's tough, man. Cause like the four guys I messaged you about all are really good plays. They all don't feel like you don't feel get the warm and fuzzies playing them.

17:50

And I'm talking about remand rate, Chase Brown, Braylon Allen, and Jonah Coleman. I think those are the four highest, like best value RBs on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. I'll say that again real quick. Remandre Chase Brown breeze hall and Jonah Coleman um you mean I like not breeze hall braylon allen braylon allen excuse me yeah good sorry about that um And to that point, I think all of them are very good plays to different degrees.

18:17

You know, I think Braylon is probably my favorite now, you know, with Brees Hall out in that spot. I like a lot, but I also like the passing game. So Chase Brown, I think is going to be uber popular. He hasn't looked great this year. Like you can poke holes in all of them, but they all look good. And I also like the expensive running backs, especially Gibbs, who is certainly overpriced, but yeah, He's the top commodity in fantasy football, always, every Week.

18:43

This Week is no exception. So I want to be over the field on Gibbs, and then got to go back to the beginning of the show. My man free rolls DFS. Buddy from the League of Legends treats to saying if I don't tout Corum, he's going to eat his pet ostrich, Henrietta. I hope ostriches taste good because Corum is not someone I'm touting today. Yeah, you and me both.

19:10

The only thing I'll say I disagree with you on is, man, it's tough for me to get to Jameer Gibbs at $9,500. I think he's ninety three or ninety four on FanDuel. Like he's got to do a lot. And the Vikings just don't allow you to do a lot. I mean, they got a really good defense and they just slow the game down. So I think I'm out on Gibbs. I think I'm out on Bijan. I mean, obviously, one fifty.

19:35

I mean, but Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Read the full definition of Single-Entry, things like that, Matt. I'm just going to let the cat out of the bag, man. Are they the same price? Maybe they are, but it's $7,200 big dog today for me. I feel like I've said him for seven weeks, and the one Week I didn't, he went for thirty seven. But this is the cheapest that the big dog has been since Week one. He gets Lamar back.

19:56

And what Lamar does is Lamar opens up those running lanes for the big dog because you have to account for number eight. And he's only $7,200 on DraftKings. He's $8,500 bucks on FanDuel, negative two hundred to score a touchdown. So to me, it's a big dog kind of day. I think he outscores those those top end running backs. Last Week I was seventy five percent on Bucky, Matt. I don't know if I'll be seventy five percent big dog today, but man.

20:20

Give me some Derrick Henry at $7,200. Any interest in Derrick Henry today? I have interest for sure, but not as much as you do. Not seventy five percent interest. Definitely not. I mean, I love the stance like he's going to be. He's not going to be high owned. He's going to be super low on on both sides. If you go that high and he somehow like. Not somehow.

20:42

I mean, if he does a vintage Derrick Henry, scores twice, has two hundred on the ground. Like, I mean, you're setting yourself up for a big day. Derrick Henry, he'll have a hundred on the ground and he'll have at least one touchdown. That's a minimum. That's a minimum. You need a lot more than that, though. Yeah, exactly. I agree. I also expect him to get at least that, but he needs quite a bit more than that. How much more?

21:08

I mean, he needs a lot more, assuming those other guys...

21:11

Know do do I mean this is a tough spot for gibbs I I get it but I agree with you like it's really it's really hard to get to gibbs given his price and his the matchup he's in but I think that that's what the field is saying also and his upside in any matchup is still I mean I think you can make cases for both sides of it personally I think rank your top three running backs I'm going to go Braylon Allen one.

21:40

I mean, why fix what's not broken, right? Like he's done it for us. He's still cheap. Great spot, et cetera, et cetera. Man, I really like what I've seen from Jonah Coleman and J.K. Dobbins. J.K. Dobbins, pretty dusty. I'm a Dobbins guy, and they're going to run him on the goal line, but they're not going to outwork him. And if they're trailing in this game, Coleman going to get a ton of the work. He's so cheap, and I think he gets forgotten about now.

22:10

Not forgotten about, but his OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership is a lot lower than if Brees Hall had been playing. So... I'm going to say Jonah Coleman too. Three, I'm going to go Ramondre. I like him more than Chase Brown. And obviously it's close between all these guys. I just feel most icky about Chase Brown. Really? That's surprising to me. I just, I don't think he's good. And that doesn't really matter. Like they're in such a good spot.

22:38

So, I mean, again, I got to emphasize that I think they're all really good plays and like deciphering between them is difficult. Yeah. I like the big dog. I like Javonte Williams for those reasons I alluded to earlier where I think it's going to be more ground to pound. I think he had twenty five rushes, if I'm not mistaken. I think it's more of the same from Monday night. And they're just going to dominate on the ground.

23:06

Another one, Matt, you didn't mention, and he's too expensive. He's not going to get owned. But Kyron Williams, Kyron Williams is a great spot. I mean, this Chargers defense is a defense we've attacked before. All season long, so I'm in on some Kyron Williams as well.

23:19

And then let me tell you why I like Chase Brown is – I mean, Matt, the reason we haven't – why you don't really run against the Titans defense is because big number ninety-eight, big Jeff, Jeff Simmons, is in there just clogging things up, wreaking havoc. And, hey, news alert, he's not going to be in there today. And it's the Chase Brown show for me. The Titans have all but quit literally – I mean, probably the best defensive lineman in the game. I mean, defensive tackle, I should say.

23:47

Obviously, Mills Garrett's on the D-line. But defensive tackle, give me some Chase Brown. I think he's going to come in super LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Read the full definition of Leverage. Let's look at pricing. Super low-owned? Yeah. Now that we got Braylon Allen. No way. He's going to be, like, no. He's going to be, like, the highest running back on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. No. No chance. Yes. Mm-hmm. You think Braylon Allen was going to be less owned than... They'll be very comparable. Especially because Brown was the guy that people were playing all Week.

24:18

Like, Braylon Allen, you know, you needed the Brees Hall news. Brown's going to be uber. I mean, but it's that... It's... Them two and Stevenson. I think that Stevenson might end up being the actual highest owned, but I'm not even talking about between those three. I think that outside of those three, I'll be shocked if anyone's higher on than Brown. Correct. Yes. Yeah. I would have it Stevenson, Allen, Brown when it comes to ownership. Maybe, yeah.

24:49

I mean, so maybe we'll meet somewhere in the middle. I just think all three are pretty similarly owned, and I'm not really fighting the ownership between any of the three. I could see it coming out any different way. I like Chase Allen over Brown. Any other running backs? We didn't really talk about Tootin. We didn't talk about Ollie Gordon, who had a good game. We didn't talk about Tony Pollard. Any other running backs that you want to touch on? Oh, I got one other running back.

25:12

Go ahead. That's your boy, Ali Gordon. Ali Gordon. I'm off Ali Gordon today, but I do have one that's in a nut spot as well. You know who I like? And this pains me to say, I like Jalen Warren. He's just been so good. How could he not be in play? I know Dusty Rico Dowell there, but so what? Like Warren their dude. He's the big play guy. And one thing, yeah, I forgot to say about Chase Brown, too.

25:43

Part of the reason I feel icky about him is the Bengals don't even love him. They bring in Piran a lot. If they get up big, how much are they going to even worth Chase Brown? I worry about these things at OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership, man. I just do. I mean, obviously, I could be wrong. No, I think Brown... As our guy DJ and you say, I think he moonwalks back, man.

26:07

I don't think people are clicking $6,300 Brown when they can kick $6,100 Allen anymore. Just my take. I disagree there. We disagree, but we'll see. I can see Brown in like the in that big like midseason tournament being like fifty percent owned. No, no chance. Yes. Yeah. He played seventy five percent of the snaps last Week. I know P. Ryan got the one yarder, but. Brown can catch passes.

26:35

It's going to, it's going to be, it's going to be pick how you want to get the thirty five points for the Bengals today. I personally think Browns a large part of that. We shall see, though. The last one that I think I want to touch on, actually, I got several more I want to touch on, but the first one in that is the Jets are missing number two overall pick Davis Bailey.

26:52

Ashton Genting coming off his two-touchdown performance at $6,700. Now, granted, they were both through the air and he's been super dusty on the ground. But some guy named Ollie Gordon, the third, just ran for about a buck twenty in a touchdown last Week against this Jets team who are now missing defensive player of the year. Candidate Davis Bailey has alluded to any interest in $6,700 Ashton Genting. Yeah, I do have some interest.

27:17

Like I said, I like the Jets a lot here, and I think him and Bowers are the natural runbacks. So at low ownership, I think he's in play just because his upside is always elite, and he's priced right by those other guys. So, yeah, in like one-fifty settings, I want to be over the field on him. It's hard to click him, which is why I like him. Yep. Love Ashton Gentry today.

27:40

And another super – I think my last super gross pick, Matt – This isn't it, but Oblickle, Leverage Lane, Chris Rodriguez yesterday, get off that Tootin' ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. But, um, $5,100 on DraftKings. He's only $5,800 on FanDuel, but O'Marion Hampton. Once again, if you aren't on Herbert, out of the buy, let's ground and pound with with our with our first round pick from last year.

28:09

I like some of Mario and Hampton at $5,100 bucks. I don't know. What about you? Man, that is a play. Yeah I mean if that to me like I get it like I'm not gonna say he's not that because I think he's got upside and maybe the charger's surprising people but it's tough to click that name given the other running back options given just his role and ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. 28:41

Fifty hundred bucks. Like because you have Vidal there, you have Mitchell there as well. But I don't hate it, especially in one fifty. I'll have some over on FanDuel because he is only $5,800 bucks. Then talk a little bit about Joel McCormick. I know you did a little bit earlier, but like like where do you think he comes in ownership wise? Now that we talked about this, he is only $4,300 bucks.

28:58

He's basically wide receiver price at a role that they were giving him the ball in the first quarter last Week, Matt. Yeah, I think talent-wise, he's clearly their top guy right now. I mean, with Harvey out. I mean, Harvey being out is just massive for him. They're at home. Like, I don't love the spot against the Chiefs, and I don't really love offense in this game, but I just think his role is going to be too big for his price tag.

29:23

I do think his ownership is certainly lessened now with Braylon Allen becoming a priority all over the board. And Coleman looks good, but he's not a must. So, yeah, I like him quite a bit. He just helps Roster ConstructionRoster construction is how you organize a DFS lineup within its salary cap and roster rules. It is hard, though, because now you're talking about Likely playing three running backs in a lot of lineups, and is he a better play than, I guess, the guy you've got to instantly compare him to is Wondell Robinson, right, at basically the same price tag?

29:55

Yes. I'll take Jonah Coleman over Wondell A., I get that. I think you could obviously play both. They're similar to me. I think Wanda, they are really similar. Yeah. Yeah. Good stuff. Yeah. We didn't even talk about Kenneth Walker. You know, had thirty eight against Denver in Week one. James Cook, Jonathan Taylor, all those guys. Yeah. We're going to move on a wide receiver unless you got anything else. I don't.

30:20

All right, wide receiver, always my favorite position to talk about, Matt. If you really look between the five and the $6,000 range, it is dusty down there, and we'll get down there in a minute. But how are you handling these top-end receivers? Puka didn't do anything last Week until – no, that was two weeks ago. He hadn't done anything in two weeks, and then he had, I think, twenty-one targets a Week before that.

30:39

But how are you handling these top-flight wide receivers, being in Puka, CD, Chase, Flowers, and Amon Ross St. Brown? They all look really good here. I think I'm on rise the easiest one to get away from just because in the matchup, etc. Minnesota's D but between chase lamb, puka and flowers like good luck choosing between them. Flowers is the cheapest with Lamar for the first time in a full game since Week one. Upside is sky high there.

31:09

Lamb has been amazing, and he gets this matchup against Arizona with Dak. So if you're playing Dak, it's pretty easy to just want to choose Lamb. Similarly, if you're playing Burrow, it's easy to click Chase. 31:33

I mean, I feel like in any one lineup, you want as many of those guys as you can get. Yeah, I agree with you. Puka is my favorite if we're just one-offing. I think Ja'Marr Chase would be number two. Did you mention Amon Ross St. Brown? Because he's not going to get any OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. So just tell the people why is he your least favorite.

31:57

Just the matchup and how much I like the other guys. I guess to that point, he is going to be the least owned. So we play an ownership game, and maybe that in itself makes him go back to being as good of a player as the other guys. But on paper, I like him significantly worse. Yeah, I think my least favorite of the bunch would be Zay. He's been cutting up so much. I think him and C.D. Regress. I really like Amon Ross St.

32:22

Brown today. $8,000 on DraftKings, only $8,500. On FanDuel. We saw what he did last Week in the first half, Matt, and they just put him on ice for whatever reason. So tough, tough blitz matchup. Give me some Amin Ra. What about this second tier of guys? Starting with Justin Jefferson, Drake, T is going to be super popular. George Pickens is active today. And then Parker Washington. Excuse me, talk to me a little bit about that group.

32:49

I like that group a lot, but I feel like the top group is so good that it's hard for me to prioritize that. Parker Washington might be my favorite if we're just talking about, like, one-offing guys. But, like, T. Higgins has been phenomenal. I mean, Drake London. I like Garrett Wilson a lot. I mean, in jet stacks, it's going to be Garrett Wilson right there for me. This kind of falls into what I said at the beginning of the show.

33:13

Justin Jefferson in that dome against this Lions team, fire him up at $7,100 bucks. And I purposely left Garrett Wilson because I wanted to talk a little bit about him next.

33:44

You seem to be super high on him. I don't want to put words in your mouth, but at $6,300 bucks, Garrett Wilson to me is probably one of the best GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Um, We get him at one of his cheaper price tags all season long. Omar Cooper been the talk. Braylon Allen's going to get a lot of love.

34:09

But, Matt, it's picture poison against this Raiders team. And if Geno stacks go off, I think $6,300 Garrett Wilson is in a much better spot than his brother over there, Michael. How do you rank Garrett versus Michael Wilson? Oh, yeah. I like Garrett a lot more. I mean, not even close for me. I like Geno a lot. I like Geno stacks more than Jacobs stacks. Michael Wilson hasn't even been that great, I feel like, since the Harrison trade.

34:35

He hasn't. Yeah, they're able to, like, bracket him more. McBride crushed – like, I like Michael Wilson, especially if you're playing that game more than I am. But I like Garrett more. I mean, it does matter on the lineup, though. Like, in a vacuum, I like Garrett more as a One-OffIn NFL DFS, a one-off is a player you select outside your stacks, commonly a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. Someone was in the chat talking about DJ Moore said DJ Moore is about to go off against this Ravens team. I talked earlier about how this, you know, I'll call it $6,000 down to $5,000 range. There's not much that, that really pops off the page to me. Is there, how do you feel about this whole range and DJ Moore specifically? Don't love the range and DJ it's more specifically, it's like hard to prioritize. Cause I don't trust it.

35:26

I mean, I guess in the GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP sense, I'm liking a lot. Cause he's got a high, really high ceiling, but I think the floor is low. He didn't even practice fully coming out of the buy. So I'm a little bit torn on him. How about you? Yeah. I'm not going to play. Like you said, he didn't practice. I don't know if it was all Week or some of the Week, like him and Kincaid didn't. And that's concerning coming up, coming off of a bye Week.

35:50

So, I don't love anybody in this range. I wrote up Josh Downs over at Shippenation.com. I think he's fine. He's the one that requested a trade, so I get it if you're scared there. Lab McConkie, full practice all Week. What was it? Not Nades, but Tambo was talking about the dad narrative this morning. If you're into the dad narrative, he's the new father. Nobody there, but your boy Denzel Washington. Denzel Boston, a hundred and thirty-one air yards last Week, Matt.

36:19

Did not turn them into anything, but give me some Denzel Boston today. Can I interest you in some of that? Yeah, definitely. I mean, he's been talking about him since camp, I feel like, and I'm still buying what he's selling. So yeah, I'm in on, I'm in on Denzel Boston. I don't love the Browns today, but I hope I'm wrong. I mean, I hope they roll. Yeah, any other receivers down here?

36:43

Jordan Addison, I'm going to have some shares of Jordan Addison. I like him, once again, in that dome with Kyler. Cheap, cheap price tag, and we've seen what he can do over the years. But anybody else that you want to touch on before we get into the value guys? Just the Tampa guys, man. And I guess that's kind of leading into the value. But Chris Godwin, I mean, super cheap. He could have had a big game last Week, had some stuff called back.

37:04

So, yeah, I'm in on Tampa today. How would you rank these Tampa receivers? Godwin one, Hurst two, Tez three. We saw Tez get there last Week, and I still like Hurst more. But that said, like, the difference is last Week Hurst was highly owned and Tez wasn't owned. This Week neither of them are going to be owned, so I'm going to go back to Hurst. But Tez could still just be the better play, so I understand flying him.

37:32

Yeah, moving over to the – You're like, you have a ton of interest in Dak. What about, how would you rank, like not rank, but I mean, are you getting to Flournoy or Pickens in any Dak stacks or what are you thinking about these Cowboys receivers? I think you definitely can. I mean, Pickens being questionable all Week. Don't love that.

37:51

That would have liked Flournoy a lot more had Pickens been out, but Flournoy also would have been popular if Pickens were out and maybe he's not owned, you know, he's not going to be on nearly as much with him in. So yeah, Yeah, Florano is a guy I'm thinking about. I don't love Pickens. You know, we're talking about massive price and OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership differences, though. Certainly in a vacuum, Pickens is Likely to outscore Florano.

38:13

I just think that Florano has a legit ceiling at a cheaper price tag and no ownership. Yeah, I mentioned earlier that I'm not one hundred percent out on flowers. I just think his price has gotten out of out of hand. Which opens up the door for Jacobs Lane. If you're playing a Josh Allen, I think Jacobs Lane gets a lot of love today at $3,400 bucks. I'm just not seeing it yet. But how are you on Jacobs Lane? I like Lane here.

38:36

I just don't think that Flowers is price tag is out of hand at all. Like, I mean, I just he hasn't even had Lamar for a full game since Week one. He's been doing this with Huntley and. We just differ there. I'm not even I don't even think I'm as high on him as the field does. I'm just not as low on him as you are. The last one that I want to touch on, he's only $3,000.

38:58

He was $3,000 last Week when I mentioned him. He didn't do anything, but he did have seven targets. It's Elick A.O. Manor. He is going to come with some OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership this Week, Matt. But the way I look at Elick versus Wondell, A, you're saving twelve hundred bucks. Elick A.O. Manor was out there last Week with Carnell Tate. It's not like Tate's out and all of a sudden A.O. Manor is going to play. He had seven targets last Week.

39:20

So to me, A.O. Manor is the best $3,000 receiver on the board. Hands down, he's the best Titans wide receiver, in my opinion. But how do you rank A.O. Manor versus Robinson or any of the other value wide receivers? I think that he's pretty clearly the top $3,000 guy on the board. I mean, flat $3,000 like guy that's already I mean, he was their number three. Now he's their number two.

39:44

And he's a guy that was a monster in college at Stafford. I mean, big play guy. Yeah. Yeah. But he's not getting owned, though. He won't get owned as much as Wandale. I mean, he'll still be owned, though. I mean, he's like, yeah, I'm showing twelve percent. I don't know if you have higher or lower than that. But yeah, Wandale. I think he's probably that's probably about right. Ten to fifteen percent. Wandale at eighteen versus EO Manor.

40:06

Man, if you're building borough stacks, I think you have to have EO Manor or or I don't like the other thing about it. I think they're all in play though. Like Robin, your point about AO manner also holds true for Robinson, who has been a target monster in his days too. And you're Likely to get a Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. So not only do you got these two guys, but.

40:27

Kind of a perfect segue into tight end because I think Gunnar Helm is a guy we can look at when we start talking about cheap tight ends. I mean, you're just talking about a game script where these guys are uber cheap and they're going to be throwing. And Cam Ward stinks. Hold on one second. One second. Before I let you go, if I'm $2,500 Gunnar Helm, I would be remiss if I didn't get your take on these Browns wide receivers.

40:49

You nailed Browns. KC Concepcion Jr. Last Week, absolutely cutting up. Are you going back to the well? I know you remember this real quick. I know you remember this game super well. It was a Thursday night, three, four weeks ago. You weren't feeling the best. Denzel Boston was like four for eighty. Concepcion was making some good plays. How are you slotting in these Browns receivers in the rematch of the Thursday night game from a month ago? I really don't like this game for offense.

41:16

I mean, these teams just played the first half of that game was electric with a ton of points, different environment here. The Browns haven't won in Pittsburgh in like twenty five years and they haven't swept the Steelers since night. So talk about a long time here. And I just think that the Browns are going to struggle to move the ball today. Watson has been real. Go ahead. No, no, you first.

41:44

Watson's been amazing in the fourth quarter, but quite frankly, he hasn't been great up to that point until last game. So I'm a ride with four, but I just don't love the Browns weapons today. Okay, that's fair. I was going to say the one asterisk there, because I know it doesn't count in the streak, but your boy went into Heins Fields and just did them dirty in the playoffs. Baker Mayfield and like the seven Pittsburgh turnovers, y'all did beat them in the playoffs.

42:09

Yes, we did. Monster game. Yeah, we rolled them that year. Good call. Yeah. All right. Let's move on to tight end where Nades is now chiming in. You've already let the cat out of the bag with Gunner Helm, of all people. All right. I mean, I guess I guess you're saying he's $2,500 bucks. He's going to run seventy five percent of the routes. But talk to me about Gunner Helm. I mean, that's all it is, man.

42:33

Like he was a good, good pass catcher in college. He's going to be on the field a ton. No Cardinals Tate. No Cardinals Tate. They're Likely to be throwing a lot. And he's going to get forgotten about with people playing the receivers. And he's dirt cheap on a SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. And I like Otton a lot, who I've talked about.

42:55

But he's two point $5,000. And – I think he does get a big bump with no Cardinals Tate. So yeah, I do too. Um, I was giving you crap, but yeah, at two point five, he's got to get what? Eight to ten, six to ten, six to eight, something like that. And you're, I think you're, you're, you're fine. Yeah. Uh, I think you, I mean, it's all dependent on what the other guys do.

43:18

I mean, it's obviously it's all depending on, but if, if, If you turn the slate on right now and Gunnar Hell, what percentage do you think he's going to be owned? And then how many points does he have to get for you to feel comfortable? Obviously, there's eight other spots and ten other games, but how many do you want from him? I think he's six OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership. Okay. And if I'm playing him, and I'm talking about in the twenty-dollar Milly Maker, honestly.

43:45

Right, for sure. I want twelve plus on twelve plus. Yeah, I would lock him if you told me he was giving me fifteen. Oh, gosh. Yes. I mean, but you're still like fighting like McBride and Bowers, you know? Yeah. No. Yeah, you're true. That's true. And like you said, it's all dependent upon the others. We'll do like we do each and every Sunday. I feel like Bowers versus McBride, who you got today? I like Powers more, and it's a big ownership.

44:14

It's a big OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership, but I like the Jets a lot. I think the Raiders are going to have to be throwing, and McBride's going to be a lot higher owned because McBride is a clear Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Read the full definition of Bring-Back with Dallas. It's just an ownership thing. Ownership thing, and some guy, your boy with super nice hair, Greg Dolchitz, just went for like six for eighty-five versus this guy. This Jets team, this Jets defense is putrid, and their head coach is probably worse than their defense.

44:39

So, yeah, give me Bowers over McBride this Week. And then any other tight ends that you want to touch on. Tight end is gross this Week, Matt. Like, it is tough sledding out there. I got a couple, but talk to me some about these tight ends that you like. Outside of Kate Otton, who is my favorite, because I love going back to Tampa here, and I like Tampa in this spot. He was your favorite last Week, by the way, too. I know.

44:59

Maybe I'm stubborn. You know what I mean? I am stubborn. I don't know maybe about it, but I think I'm being smartly stubborn here. Just the game theory aspect of it. Maybe you'll talk me off it a little bit. No, I'm talking you on it. I like Otton this Week, too. I got two other guys. Okay. The obvious is Hunter Henry, who's going to be popular, but for good reason, just because New England's pass-catching options are dwindling by the minute, it feels like.

45:21

And he's solid, if not spectacular. So good price tag there. The other guy I like, I feel like we haven't even talked about at all because we missed a little bit of time, but he's been decent. And I like the Jets' Mason Taylor. $3,300 falling through the cracks again, just in Geno stacks. But why not would be my question. Yeah. What happened to Kenyon Sadiq? What happened to Kenyon Sadiq? His name is Mason Taylor. Happened to Kenyon Sadiq. And he got a concussion, too.

45:50

But yeah, I get it, man. It was against his dad's team last Week. He was just out there just cutting up for sure. I don't I don't hate that call. Philly Phantom put it in there. Brenton Strange. I love Brenton Strange today. He's in my core over at Ship It Nation.com.

46:06

I got to ask you, because we didn't bring him up at receiver, and because I just talked about Mason Taylor, I got to ask your opinion of someone also on the Jets that we didn't talk about that's looked really good, Omar Cooper. I mean, listen. I'm stubborn too. And I haven't played him a single time. I'm not going there now where his price is skyrocketed. He's obviously a very good receiver back-to-back weeks. He's been the dude, but I'm out.

46:30

The reason I don't mind going to him though, even though I haven't been on either is because he's still not going to be owned. So I'm not like following the field. I can't see him being owned. Am I wrong there? Yeah. No, he's going to be like, he's going to be like one to five OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership somewhere in there. No, I mean, listen. And the other thing, too, is like, you know, right, wrong or different.

46:54

The way I look at it is like he was so cheap, like his price had to come up. Right. It's still not like outrageous. Yeah. So that's the other side of what you said. Like, if he were still $3,000, he would be owned. Correct. But now because he's $5,000, he won't be owned, which it's almost like MLB. Like if he does what he's been doing, I don't care that his price increased to $5,000. Yeah. So Gino, I'm going Gino doubles.

47:19

Cause Gino's not running. I mean, I'm going Wilson. Are you going Taylor or Cooper? I mean, obviously you may have multiple teams. All of it. All both.

47:26

If I'm making one team, man that's really honestly I think if I were making one team it might be Gino Garrett Wilson Braylon Allen that's it oh wow yeah because I like them to score and I mean not even that Braylon's that you know efficient in the passing game but I like the Jets today and that's kind of a different way a way I like to get different building stacks yeah no that's good yeah um just some other names to throw out there that, that are on my radar.

47:57

TJ Hockenson. I talked about, he's only $4,600. If you're playing, uh, Kyler stacks, he scored last Week, should have scored three weeks ago. Tyler Pitt senior, Matt, he scored three touchdowns in the last two weeks. So don't hate him. He's definitely in my pool. And then the other one who skyrockets up my board, if, uh, we won't get the news, but Tyler Higbee, uh, What's his face?

48:22

Colby Parkinson hasn't practiced all Week, and you had thought he'd gotten shot last Week in the Raiders game. He kept on coming out and going back in. Throw the ball to Tyler Higbee last Week is what I needed. They didn't, but I like Tyler Higbee at $3,800 bucks. Should Parkinson miss Eli Raridon? He'll be I don't even know, half or probably a quarter of the ownership of of Hunter Henry. But any other tight ends that we didn't touch on?

48:46

No, he balled the other night, too. Yeah, he's a baffler. I get the Hawkins love because Detroit's awful against tight ends, too. But I think that might change with Branch back, though. Yeah, that is true. Very true. Yep, yep. Not even that. Again, I still don't think – he's only one guy, so it's not like their defense is going to be good. I just don't know if they're all-time bad anymore that you just want to pick on. Yeah, very solid point.

49:09

Branch only played – I didn't look at the snaps, but half the snaps last Week, and now hopefully he's probably playing – you know, sixty five, seventy five percent of the snaps. He still had the biggest play of the game. Yeah. Yeah. Didn't talk about Harold fan and I don't like fan and I don't like any of the Steelers. The Steelers guys. But, yeah, Bowers over McBride for me. We agree on that. Who's your favorite non – I guess it's Otton. He's your favorite non-spin-up.

49:36

Or Helm. Or Helm, yeah. I mean, there's still no Ibuka. And, again, Tampa was in a weird spot last Week. Yeah, they threw a lot of – Right, it happened to really play out to your benefit. And that's a big reason why. It's because Bucky was so good. But just mostly – most of the time not going to play out like that. And Otton did have a red zone target in the end zone as well, just didn't come down with it. So, yeah, I like your Otton call.

49:59

All right, Matt, moving over to the defense. And, boy, I got some spicy takes today, but I'll let you go first. Defense, one of my favorite things to talk about with you on this show, but how are you handling this defense? We know the ownership is going to come. We know the ownership is going to come with the Broncos. They are only, like, Hey, but you said it to me and it stuck with me, Matt. Maybe you've changed your mind.

50:23

But I said I'm playing the Raiders defense three weeks ago, four weeks ago against the Chiefs. You're like, why would you pick a defense versus Patrick Mahomes? So that stuck in my mind. But how are you handling this Broncos? I'll call it chalk defense and this Steelers defense. Yeah, I struggle with that one. I'm struggling with Denver here because I agree with that. And I don't want to use the defense against Patrick Mahomes.

50:41

And I don't think Denver has like a massive upside here. But I also think they're way too cheap at home. They are. Against the Chiefs offense that did not look good last Week. That said, I'm more with you than against you, man. Like, I'd rather get away from them. I think they have a really solid floor. And I don't think they get shelled here. Because I don't think the Chiefs offense is in amazing form.

51:02

And I think Denver is always good at home. But Mahomes is not a guy that's like throwing pick sixes hardly ever. They're usually very fundamentally sound. He doesn't take a lot of sacks. Right. Anything can happen, but I'd rather go with anything can happen to a lower-owned D. So, yeah, I mean, on paper, Denver looks really good. But I'm more apt to get away from them. I'm interested to hear your takes. Man, I hate this, but Pittsburgh's D looks good to me.

51:29

I mean, at home against a quarterback that hasn't been good until the fourth quarter that they just saw – yeah, I'm interested. My favorite D on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate though, and then I'll let you go, is Jacksonville. They're uber expensive, but give me any defense against the Colts right now. I think they got big time upside. Even though I mentioned it's the NFL, the Colts could be much more competitive than the field's giving them credit for.

51:52

Majority of the time this game is played out, Jacksonville rolls. I love that call. And the reason is, as I talked about it, their defensive line is very good. I don't know, top five, top ten. And they just traded Quentin Nelson, who's been their linchpin for like eight years. And Josh Downs is requesting trades. Like, I think that could get very ugly in Jacksonville today. So I love your Jacksonville call.

52:21

Matt, my favorite defense on the entire tire slate, and this goes into, you know, learning from Tambo and you and others of like slicing and dicing the ownership. Give me those Cowboys, man, $3,200 bucks. They're at home. The Cardinals are with a beat up offensive line and they they it's kind of like when I talked about the forty Niners against the Seahawks, I think three weeks ago when they led the slate, like the Cowboys are getting some dudes back today off the injured list.

52:47

PJ logs back at safety. So their defense is like very, very bad, but they're getting, I think three guys back today, three starters back today. I believe they're at home. Um, Jacobs going to be popular. Wilson's going to be popular. McBride's going to be popular. They're going to throw it forty times. I think Quinn and Williams to Mario overshown those dudes right there. I mean, give me the $3,200 Dallas Cowboys. My favorite defense on today's slate. I'm in sold.

53:15

All right. Well, that's right. Yeah, I'm super low on the Cardinals today. I think it's a bloodbath. I think it's grounded pounds. Javonte and the Cowboys. I think they roll. Sold. All right, there we go. All right, well, that'll do it for us. Matt, we can't get out of here. I forget what we do, but give me your play of the day. Give me your play of the day and stack of the day.

53:38

All right, my play of the day is going to be Garrett Wilson. And my stack of the day is going to be Tampa. So clearly, those are the two teams I like a lot in tournaments. I love it. Love it. My play of the day, man, I love him. I could come back to bite me, but I'm going to go with the big dog. We're going to let the big dog eat today. I think like one fifty and two is in play for the big dog.

54:03

I think he's the leading running back on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. I think Lamar is going to open up those running lanes and I think it's going to be a high scoring affair. So I'm going to go big dog as my favorite play of the entire day that I'm going to go with those Joe Burrow stacks. I love Burrow. I love Chase Ja'Marr Chase. That is also love Chase Brown.

54:20

But give me some Joe Burrow And then I thought you were going to – I forgot Baker, but I thought you were going to say Geno. You said Garrett Wilson, so I'm going to have me some Geno stacks as well. I love that call out of you. Yeah, I hope we have a fun day rooting on Geno and the Jets. Said no one ever. Geno and the Jets. We'll be in the Discord all day.

54:40

Then my guy Nades and I will be back at six p.m. Eastern Standard Time to sweat it out with you guys and talk about the amazing Sunday night game that we're going to have. Eagles – versus the Commanders. Can't wait for that rivalry to continue. For my guy, Belman, it's ham. Good luck tonight in those contests. Hope to see those Shippin' Nation logos up top. Just Shippin'!
