Mike Petta, Tyler Tamboline and Zach Trivett see a slate where scarce cheap value makes expensive quarterbacks and receivers difficult to fit. Patrick Mahomes stacks against Miami draw a strong call, though the show splits on Rashee Rice and considers builds without Kenneth Walker III. Breece Hall is an explicit overweight against Detroit. The Lions passing game appeals at modest ownership, while the hosts split on building around Geno Smith and the Jets.
The Kyler Murray ($5,100) passing game with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison is a favored low-owned afternoon build, with Cade Otton the preferred Tampa Bay run-back. Buffalo and San Francisco have 28-point team totals with little stack ownership, while Baltimore and Dallas offer the slate's highest total at similarly modest ownership. Derrick Henry stands out there. Houston's cheap pass catchers gain interest with Nico Collins out; the Giants defense is an alternative to popular Tennessee.

All All Systems go. Clear your liftoff.. What's up, everyone? Tyler Tamboline here, a.k.a. ToeTagginTambo. Back for another edition of the Sunday Shippers. Got title, got hoop. We're breaking down everything for week three DFS. We're going to go through all thirteen games, talk about our thoughts on how to use them, roster construction, process, how you guys can put it all together. First off, bringing in Hoopster. Week three, buddy, we're back. You know, good slate here, but it's another big one.
Thirteen games, lots to talk about. The Brazil, the field, the injuries, the weather. We're still waiting on some news, Hoop. But how you doing, my friend? Another big week. Yeah, doing well. A big full slate, a lot of appealing spots, and I mean, the first thing that kind of stood out to me when looking at the slate was, you know, it's the first slate, I think, of the season, first main slate, where you actually have to kind of work.
Like, if you want to get to something, you're going to have to make some sacrifices in your lineup. We don't have many free spots, free squares, super cheap guys that are going to be very, very popular. There's a couple that we'll talk about, but I think that's leading to some really good spots becoming difficult to get to. We'll talk about it as we go through the slate, but it should be a good one. It's a big slate. Everything's going to be spread out.
A couple high-owned spots. Jameer Gibbs is going to continue to be very highly owned. DK could just put him at like $10,000 and let him sit for the rest of the season. That would probably be good, but he's going to be popular. A couple other uh, popular plays that, that we'll get to a couple of popular running wide receivers and some tight ends, but it's, it's a good full slate, a lot of spots, uh, excited to break it down with you guys.
Yeah. Title. I think it's a, another fun one. There is a lot of places to go. Like hoop said, there's a, you know, a bunch to talk about with these games and still waiting on a little bit of news. I know you had the props and weather and stuff over there. You know, the rain that we got in, in, in the Giants Tennessee game, but how you doing my friend, another big Sunday, free money Sunday, as we like to call it over here.
Yeah, always the best days of the year. Can't wait. Thirteen games. Next week is the start of these early games. So what, thirty minutes from now, twenty eight minutes from now, next Sunday, they'll be kicking off. So the slates will start to shrink and then we'll get I think next week still twelve. And then after that, the bye week start rolling in. But I was like big slates OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ more spread out.
But yeah, you got to hit the hit the stones more often. So prizes are great. We're talking some football. So life's good. Yeah, we got it all covered for you guys over at ShipItNation.com. So make sure you guys check that out. Go to ShippitNation.com. We'll check out other stuff throughout the show. But Hoop, I'm going to kick it to you as always, man, to start this thing off. Grand scheme overview. Hit on a couple things there.
But how do you think this thing's shaken out for people? What are some of the things they're waiting on? And then how are you seeing it yourself? Yeah, I mean, the main thing to me, the main takeaway is what I kind of touched on in the opening where, you know, roster construction more difficult this week than it's been the first two weeks on these main slates.
And just because there's not a ton of absolute standout value, we start to see these running back prices creep up a little bit for the for the studs, which, you know, rightfully so these guys are putting up monster numbers.
Week in and week out uh so that's definitely the first thing uh that that stands out to me or you know especially on on DK FanDuel is a little bit easier uh to build in with some of these studs but on on DK like if if you just go and kind of run an optimizer and you're going to get a lot of cheap quarterbacks just because that's the way things are pushing you're going to get more double tight end last week not a lot of double tight end or tight end in flex This week, if you run it, you're going to get a lot of that because that's where the best value resides at that tight end position.
That's one thing to take into consideration when thinking about roster construction. Quarterback is going to be very spread out. It usually is. We have a thirteen game slate, but the one thing that definitely stands out at quarterback, the studs are coming in pretty low on Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, both team totals above Oh, the Ravens are sitting at twenty eight. So four touchdowns and Lamar Jackson virtually no OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗. And then, you know, Josh Allen Bills, twenty eight team total, no ownership there.
So I think it is interesting. Again, it is tough when you go in there and start to build those Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen teams. It's very difficult to build them. So it's going to result in some low ownership there. You know, running back pretty straightforward. I mean, the studs on the slate are phenomenal. Jameer Gibbs, Christian McCaffrey, Kenneth Walker.
Uh you know massive workload for him phenomenal spot against the Dolphins like they're just going to give this guy the work like I really thought they would kind of ease him in a little bit but you could tell right from the beginning in game one like this is going to be their guy and they're going to use use him they're going to get their money's worth on the contract I don't even know what the contract was but they're going to get their money's worth on him so You know, Derrick Henry, another guy that to me, pretty appealing.
I think ownership comes down on him. A lot of, you know, after those three, like Gibbs, really, I mean, it's Gibbs and Kenneth Walker getting the ownership. Like those two are going to be a starting point for a lot of lineups. After that, everyone else at this position probably, you know, we're showing fourteen percent or less ownership on everyone after Gibbs and Walker. And I think that's probably pretty accurate. So there's going to be some opportunity at at running back for sure.
You know, wide receiver. Again, it's tough to.
Build with the studs today so I think what that's going to do is at least keep the ownership in check on these top end guys and we have them on the slate you know JSN has been phenomenal Ja'Marr Chase phenomenal last week Amon Ross St Brown has been phenomenal CD Lamb coming off the big game we have Justin Jefferson on the slate because of how difficult roster construction is The ownership is going to be held in check on these guys.
And, you know, we have Amonra at sixteen, CeeDee Lamb at thirteen, Jefferson at eleven, Ja'Marr Chase nine percent, JSN eleven percent. These are slate breakers. And more Likely than not, you're going to need one of these guys on your lineup. Or I guess I should say one of these guys will Likely end up on the winner today. So one thing to keep into account. And then tight end, a lot of people are going to just be looking to go cheap. We have cheap options here.
A lot of cheap options. No one's super expensive. We have... My guy Dalton Schultz back in the mix. You got, you know, Stan LaPorta. Kelsey looks good. You have Kittle for cheap. You have Mark Andrews for cheap. So a lot of people are going to want to do that. Weaving guys like Trey McBride again, pretty LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗. We're showing, you know, eight percent on Trey McBride.
And all this is really it all just goes back to the main initial point that roster construction a little bit difficult. The studs are going to be held in check outside of the running back position. So it's kind of kind of where we're at to get things started here. Yeah, I'll add just a couple of things and I'll kick it to you, Title. You can give a wrap up on this and then get into the first game, which will be the Chargers at the Bills.
Couple of quick notes. So one, I'm still waiting on some injury news. We're waiting on, we got Keon Coleman Likely to play this morning now or expected to go. So that's, you know, he's in, but DJ Moore, we're still waiting on that news. Adonai Mitchell with the glove on. Again, we'll have to see what happens there. So if you guys see that news and post it in the chat, let us know. I got my stuff up over here as well.
I've got a DFS OS, so we can check some of the notes on there too, but just in, in general, there's that late swap late swap opportunity. As I've trademarked, this is definitely a good slate for late swap. There's a ton of good afternoon options and ways that you can go. There's the San Francisco. There's the Dallas Cowboys game with the Ravens. Sorry. There's the Saints game, the Vikings with Kyler back.
Like, There's a ton of different ways you can go in the afternoon here, even though there's limited games. Lots of things you'll want to keep an eye on in the morning, depending on if Kenneth Chalker III comes through or Gibbs or Jalen Warren and all the guys that people are going to be going to. You're going to have to keep an eye on that stuff. Title, anything else you want to add there? Anything else you see coming into this slate before we get into the games?
Yeah, late swap for sure with the Zay Flowers stuff. It seems like a true game-time decision. That's always important. Weather, just looking at Ross' stuff, every game but two, he has his green. The two are the Titans and the Giants. Chalk defense, so we'll be talking about that. And then the Commanders and Seahawks game, two games that are really not getting ownership outside of just that Titans defense. So only two other spots to worry about. And then, yeah, I mean, I can't add anything else on.
What a great breakdown from Hoopster. Yeah. And I think the last point you said that I was going to say that I forgot was the first week so far that we've had. And you get them like a couple of times a year where you get that chalk, chalk defense, like super chalk. You could see the Titans pushing thirty percent plus in high stakes, smaller field stuff. I think it's going to be kept somewhat in check in the large field, but it'll be extended delta.
Versus the rest. And there's still tons of options when you have thirteen games. So just keep that in mind out there. We'll get to it when we get their title. I'll start with you then. Who mentioned it's hard to fit a guy like $8,000 Josh Allen up top there. But we got the stone up. You can check it out on your side. You got everything to run through it. Chargers at the Bills to kick things off.
A low own game that I'm going to be jumping in on right away on both sides a little bit. Both defenses have shown to be attackable to start. I mean, Bills side, it's so easy to make a case. Josh Allen legit has thirty five forty point upside any single week. I expect them to move the ball at will. It really just comes down to the touchdown variance. Is it James Cook? Is it Josh Allen? Does he rush him? Does he throw it to your Person?
That's the little tricky spots when you get to Josh Allen. But he's – thirty-plus I think he's having this week. I don't see how this terrible Chargers team slows him down at all. I think Kincaid a really easy pairing. The DJ Moore news is definitely important, though. $5,800's a good price tag. If he was on the main slate last week instead of the Thursday, like I play Thursday through Monday cash, and I play DJ Moore.
So if he was on the main slate, he would have been mega, mega chalk. Now it's pretty much same price take because he got hurt. Yeah, I guess will he be limited a bit? I don't know. I need to look into that spot a little more. If there's no DJ Moore, Shakir. Definitely gets a big bump, but I think it's mainly Josh Allen to Kincaid.
And then when I'm not playing Josh Allen teams, I think James Cooks one of the best pivots off of that Gibbs and Kenneth Walker stuff. You want someone to be able to match their upside. He is a little cheaper offensively. They're going to move the ball. Again, is Josh Allen getting the touchdowns or is James Cook getting the touchdowns? That's kind of how I'm seeing it. I think $6,900 is a phenomenal price tag from what we saw last year.
So I want to be in on the Bills. They are relatively expensive, really just Josh Allen. And then Kincaid at that position is expensive. But I don't think for his role this year that he's that bad. Charter side. A little more difficult, but also cheaper. I'm not throwing in the towel yet for this offense. I'm throwing it in for their season. They have a brutal schedule coming up.
But if Josh Allen moves the ball at will, they're going to force Herbert and them too. I don't think they're going to just lay down in the fourth quarter, even if they're on twenty one. Like you've got to find something on offense, which opens up more garbage time stuff. Bill's defense has been attackable so far. And now it gets a little more concentrated with Kohler and Njoku going to the IR. You do have Gadsden as a tight end if you want to go there.
He had some games last year. I think really mainly Ladd McConkie, though, now coming off another week. He was banged up last week. There was no question about that. That is a great price tag. Herbert's only $5,800 shown three percent. He's still a very athletic, strong arm QB who can make plays. So a low on game where I'm going to be eating some chalk and elsewhere. This is one of the spots I'm going to get to in tournaments.
Yeah, if you guys are just joining us, make sure to hit that thumbs up. Make sure to subscribe to the channel as we continue to grow. Try and get up to $15,000 subscribers this season, just under thirteen K. So it really helps us out a ton. We put all of our shows out for free. I will say here there's a couple of interesting things. One, cannot wait to see Patrick Herbert. Throw a touchdown to Justin somehow. And it's not the other way.
I'm saying I'm making the call of the year. This will be it. They run a trick play. Patrick Herbert comes in and throws the touchdown to his brother, Justin, instead of the other way around just to mess with people. But Gadsden being there, everyone said like the last tight end standing truthfully, the McConkie thing. The one thing I think people sometimes forget is, I mean, just my opinion on this anyway, but I like the Lamar pay up quarterback option, which we'll get to later.
He's five hundred bucks less than Allen. But if you think Allen hits his ceiling, then I think Herbert comes along. I think Herbert helps cause that. I think it's going to be Herbert, McConkie, Gadsden, Hampton, whatever it might be. And then you can still play Kincaid. You could play double tight end. You could play Herbert, McConkie, Quinton Johnston with Kincaid. You could use both those guys or Gadsden and use James Cook.
But I think if you really think that the you know Josh Allen stuff is good and you can't find a lineup you like you could just go to the Justin Herbert side of this game so I think that's pretty interesting uh as a way to build this a little bit more unique like title set off the top hoop no one really going here and hard to get here for other stuff I think they are playing James Cook I think, you know, Kincaid OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ comes up a little, but maybe not that much because especially if we get DJ more playing, but he is coming off a shoulder injury.
So we'll see what they do there. What's your thoughts on this game? One last thing, better price on FanDuel, $9,100. It's a lot easier to fit over there. The price is easier to play him. Kincaid has the better price tag over there, too. So not much more to add. I mean, I think.
You know what you guys said is kind of what I was going to say I love the spot it's going to be LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ I mean it's rare you get a team projected to score over and coming in with with relatively low ownership just because it's tough to get there on roster construction if you're building a bunch of teams and you like this spot definitely play some James Cook because it could go the other way I mean James Cook has the three touchdown game if he has he has the three touchdown game in him if it gets there then the Josh Allen stuff isn't going to work out so if you're building a bunch definitely include him.
I love Kincaid. I like him on DK because people are going to want to go cheaper. And, you know, even if DJ DJ more plays and maybe he's a little bit banged up, like to me, Kincaid could be wide receiver one. Like he has a great connection with Josh Allen. So yeah, Good there and good with some of these runbacks. For it to fully get there, one of you guys mentioned it, you're going to have to get something on the Chargers side.
You've got to get a little something to get this full thing. McConkie, Gadsden, I think is fine. Quinton Johnson has been horrible this year, but this team's done. They have the toughest schedule from here on out, but from a fantasy perspective and offense perspective, I'd assume they get something going at some point, but it's a good low-owned spot on the slate.
Last thing I'll say, and then I got, you know, bigger statement to make, but the Keon Coleman being in whatever, like I guess Josh Palmer was on a lot of people's radar there. I'm actually saying that I'll say that like if DJ Moore is in, if I'm playing the Josh Allen side, I would play more with him. Like you got to just assume he's healthy. If those lineups go down, they go down. But I'd be looking to play Allen, Moore, and Kincaid.
It still keeps it cheap. You got a great Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Full explanation ↗ in McConkie on the other side, you know, if you're doing that. And that's also for FanDuel. Because like we said over there, Josh Allen is, is $9,100. I know it seems expensive because it's over $9,000, but it's the way the pricing sets up over there. How cheap Kincaid is over there. There's just a ton of different ways that you can get to it. All right. Go to the next one.
I put in the Slate Station on Shippenation.com this week. There's two quotes. One is never say never. Learning this the hard way. So never say never. And the second one is all good things must come to an end. And I don't think there's ever been a better week in the history of DFS to play Patrick Mahomes. And I never play Patrick Mahomes on a main slate. There's thirteen games. This could still get dusted. That's fine.
But when you got Kenneth Walker, Kenneth Chalker, the third, and you've got that set up, and there's just so many ways to get different in this game. I love this spot, so I have to do it. So I gave the disclaimer starting Thursday, so people would get a lot of pre-notice on how the hell is Tambo actually doing this. But I'm going to be playing Mahomes. I'm going to be playing Rice, Worthy, Thornton, Kelley. Kenneth Walker.
And on the other side, I'm going to be playing a Chan Washington bell. Like I think there's a ton of ways you can go about this, but one of my favorites title is going with my homes and then skipping over Walker and using a Chan on the other side. We've done this in the past with some stuff where you've got a popular running back and you flip to the other side and you move it around.
This seems like a spot that we could see it. And I know people hate on Miami and they suck and all this, but I think it's a perfect spot for them to at least show up because even if they just show up some, they don't have to worry about winning. They're still going to lose the game. They can still get their bonuses or whatever they get when they lose games. However, that stuff works.
My point being, if they do show up and you would need that for Mahomes to have a big game, like we talked about from before, this will be the first time And last time I did this was Will Zalatouris betting in golf. And he won the event. He won the event. Receipts are out there. I remember that. I remember that. Remember that? I was there in Memphis live and he wanted a crazy playoff.
So I'm hoping that M in my home stands for Milly. I got him in the big boy spot, the $555 Milly Maker. That's what I'm rolling with for my lineup in there this week. So I'll go with you, title your your thoughts on the Chiefs at the Dolphins. I don't want to halt all the momentum. I'm not really there. I mean, he's getting some OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗.
Mainly, I mean, I still see it the same as you every time you make the case is like you got to get it right. And I still think it's more spread out than I mean, Kenneth Walker is a freaking man. And also why it's so hard to play Mahomes is he had ten targets last week, did Kenneth Walker. So some of your Patrick Mahomes teams in the portfolio probably should have Kenneth Walker. He's not just a power running back anymore.
The game theory-wise, the LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ off the ChalkChalk is the most popular, highly owned play on a slate. The term comes from sports betting, where the favorite is called the chalk.Don't label chalk good or bad. Ask whether each popular play deserves its ownership, then decide which chalk you'll eat and which you'll fade.Full explanation ↗, when I do play Mahomes, I'd ideally not want Kenneth Walker because, again, the reason to play all that is to leverage it off. I'm definitely not going to Rashee Rice. Again, I've said my thoughts about him. I think he's just trash at this point. I'd much rather go Worthy, Thornton, Kelley, and that also because it's pretty cheap when you do stack those cheapies up.
What I'm worried about is this Dolphins team is just as bad as it gets, that they can't get anything going, that the fourth quarter starts or even midway through the third and the game's so out of hand and Emmitt Johnson coming in to get some work in the fourth quarter. They just take everyone out and it just fully doesn't get there. We've seen the homes in three quarters get like twenty six DraftKings points, but it's not fully enough.
I think it was like the Raiders last year because we had similar talks to this. It's just when I'm playing him, who am I playing him with? Is it Worthy? Is it Thornton? Is it Kelley? For me, it'd be Worthy and Kelley. But yeah, it's somewhat into ownership. So I don't love it. I don't love the Dolphins side. Malik Washington and A-Chan, though.
I will play some A-Chan at like ten percent because, yeah, I think you'll still be out there in the fourth quarter in a blowout. These guys are going to get blown out a lot and he can catch like eight passes in this one. But I think it will take a while for A-Chan to probably get going as the game goes on and the score gets racked up a bit. I don't mind Chiefs defense, though.
You can stream any defense against the Dolphins all year long. I was just going to add too, I'm going to a bunch of different places. First off, shout out to Drew Louts, one of the Ship It Games Golden Ship It ticket winners. So in the share ship this week, congrats to you. It's going to be awesome. Chance of $33,000 three hundred thirty three dollars and thirty three cents. So there you go.
And then I'll buy the I'll buy the Tambo scat chain. I would never put my homie on. I don't care if he wins it for me or not, but I don't think scat's ever winning me that chain. So I'm just going to have to buy it based off my homes winning me the money for it. And it's still going to be the same chain I was going to buy. But I don't think scats get me that chain.
He is interesting, by the way, later for today. A lot of Emmett Johnson talk. I think it's a good prop bet if you want to get over on his carries. He's got like a five and a half or a six and a half carries. If you think he's getting carries, you can do that. I don't know if he's going to get you there at $4,400 all the way. I'm using them as a leverage play in some lineups. Great idea.
If you've got a portfolio, um, that's where I'll do it versus like the main and to title's point. Um, I'm never just going to play. If I'm ever playing my own, which I am this week, I've been very clear on that. I am going to have him in the portfolio. That's the whole point. And there is some lineups with Walker, but for my, I was talking about for my five, I like just going full go.
And like Title said, if you already erase Rice from your mind, well, that target tree just gets smaller anyway, right there. It depends on what you want to do with Kelley. But Blickle was showing off some stuff yesterday. And obviously Kelsey's in, you know, eighty percent of the Mahomes lineups or something insane. So it's like you could move that off your plate. And I really like HN to get it going. Hoop, I'll kick it to you because I'm just ranting on it now.
But I will say another interesting thing. If you're not playing Kenneth Walker, we saw this last week with Hubbard and the Carolina defense getting there on the opposite running back. Today, that could be like Brees Hall and the Jets versus Gibbs. You can play A-Chan and Miami at the stone minimum and just hope that the Titans don't come through and it's the Dolphins instead. And it's not a big boy defense, but I do think there's a lot of good defenses.
Kick it to you, Dolphins at home versus the Chiefs. Yeah, definitely wasn't prepared for a, you know, a Tambo. I mean, obviously I knew you liked them a little bit from, you know, watching the stuff, but wasn't prepared. Yes. So I'm going to take it a step further and be a little more precise. All right. I love the spot for my homes and it's going to be opposite of titles opinion, but I think it's my homes and rice today. Like he's forced it.
He's forced rice though. I'm not surprised. That was his favorite captain. Yeah. He's forced it to Worthy quite a bit. Like, he's got Kelley going early on in the season. Kenneth Walker has obviously been going. Like, if there's ever a spot to get somebody going, it's going to be against this Dolphins defense where you can do whatever the hell you want. And I just think they're going to force it to Rashee Rice. I think Rashee Rice has the big game. Very low on.
Like, no one's on him today. I think it's like, you know, sub five – Sub-five percent. What do we have? It's twenty twenty six. And Travis Kelley is projected for more yards than Rashee Rice. I mean, that's that's that's recency bias because he's been going like I mean, if if, you know, Kelley hadn't had these big games like there's there's no way he's going to have a bigger like Rice is the guy that's kind of been. Pushed to the back burner. Today, he's coming to the front.
He's going to be that next burger in line to come off the grill. It's going to be Rashee Rice. You know what they say? He's going to get you a burger. Well done, burger. You killed my good one-liner. But next week, there's going to be ricency bias because Rashee Rice gets the job done. So you get the recency bias, get the ricency bias in there. You'll be able to see what happens. $6,400, though, to your point, Hoop, for a what was used to be what?
Seven, eight? People always say like I'm gonna play this guy because he's gonna get more expensive as the season goes on titles like no this guy's getting cheaper right it's gonna be $4,800 when it's all said and done A hockey burger for you, a nice zero in that line. Why do you think he's done, though? This is what it is, though. The dude can't create any separation. It feels like on the target tree. I don't know, maybe it's off-season stuff.
He loves his guns, jail, whatever the dude's doing in life. I don't know if it's grinding football, like half the, like, ninety-five percent of these other dudes that three workouts a day or whatever. I don't think he's dialed. He's going to prove title wrong today. He's playing the high school Dolphins teams. Like you said, is it him though?
Getting it right is tough, but if you do get it right, Mahomes is going to It's hard to see him not scoring twenty unless Walker just absolutely breaking it. Just getting its rights is tough. Worthy's the guy. I thought about playing this on my main lineup. That was the first team I started building. You two do it. Everyone pile into the five-fifty-five and I'll play Mahomes. Come on.
I couldn't resist my shitty Lions defense and picking on them, so we'll talk about that when we get there. But...
Yeah I just I yeah I the only thing I the one spot I do disagree is I don't want any of these freaking run backs I don't get like I don't care and like I get there's some risk in the you know fourth quarter but the way the NFL is set up nowadays like you have to be up by four touchdowns before these teams say all right like we're putting in the backups like it's so easy to come back in the NFL from three touchdowns now it's like four touchdowns before you even have to worry about a team you know get bringing in the backups and they, a lot of teams will just keep their foot on the gas.
So I'm not too worried about runbacks. Chiefs can, can do whatever they want here. But we just saw the million maker one last week by the forty Niners in this spot. No runbacks. Eli, the cat maker, we reviewed it, the takedown breakdown on Monday. He had three forty Niners, no Dolphins.
Yeah I mean this is clear marvin Harrison is the worst of all the dude is walking out there I don't if you're a coach in the NFL and you see like one of his reps how does he get on the field again he literally is not trying it's not a guy willing to chuck it too it's not like I mean yes their team sucks but you got a you got a quarterback that's willing to like just he's not even playing like I would have benched him in the first play and yeah you give him one play if he does that he's out for the game who Just over there sipping the USA coffee today.
That President's Cup, by the way, that's a golf topic quickly. USA golf, whoever makes those decisions should be ashamed of themselves. Like, move on from these losers. Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay. Like, these guys suck. Like, they suck in this format. It's embarrassing. You need some rest.
Yeah just get some young guys in there or something like get corn fairy tour guys or something these guys are embarrassing on like the uh you know national stage like just no like it's all fake shit anyway like they pretend like they're so into it even with the rider cup like all this they're so in like no they're not it's all fake get these losers out of here like find other guys seriously He does run differently than others, which is very slow lately and not close to an NFL caliber.
Yeah, that's crazy. I mean, come on, coach. Hopefully you meant that opposite. Our guy Tyler, though, what about you put this ranking now, title? You got to do all three now. Yeah, Marvin's the worst. Rice is second worst. BJ, yeah, Brian Thomas is. Okay, well, it's a good segue because I'm sticking with you. We're going to the Jaguars at home versus the Patriots, and BTJ is in that game.
There's a lot of Parker Washington love right now, but tell us what you got with this one, title. Yeah, I mean, rightfully so. Parker Washington, he's so good. That's $6,000 price today. We're talking about prices that are high that are coming lower. He's going to be $7,000 before we know it. Clear, clear wide receiver one. Fitz DraftKings scoring really, really well. After that, though, it's pretty hard for me to get in this game. I just see it as like a lower...
Scoring, slug it out, just a really, really good football game between two competitive teams. And that doesn't always produce when it comes to fantasy. I think at tight end, I don't mind Hunter Henry, a ContrarianA contrarian play or lineup is one built around choices most of the field will not make, such as low-owned players, unpopular teams or an unusual salary structure.Pick one or two contrarian spots per lineup and ground each in a real reason. The rest of the roster can look like the field.Full explanation ↗ option that not many are going to. A lot of names will be talked about at tight end. He's one that won't be. Other than that, though, I don't really see myself playing And I'm playing a lot of teams, so if Trevor Lawrence one sneaks up, sure.
But in a vacuum, this is not a game I'm getting to stacking or really anything outside of Parker, Washington, maybe Hunter Henry. Hoop, I'll give this one to you. I really have nothing to add here on my end because it's like title just said exactly how I feel at the start of the week. If you're getting to Trevor Lawrence, it's got to be with Washington, Myers, BTJ, some mixture of that for me.
If you had some Tootin one-offs because you're trying to LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ Parker Washington, I guess, as a cheap running back. The one thing I mentioned about Tootin yesterday, I guess I do have one thing to add, I'll just say it, is that he is...
Leverage off of Parker Washington but also a pivot to Jalen Warren right there for a hundred bucks less again like title said I think it's a game where you could just see that but the one thing that was mentioned I like it for DraftKings actually more was that they might use him in the past game a little bit more and so maybe there's an opportunity for him to beat a chalkier version of this price tag but it's not like my favorite guy in the slate or anything I'll let you take it from here who yeah not much interest here like I'm playing a lot of teams, so I'll get to some of the Trevor Lawrence stuff with Parker Washington.
Parker Washington a great play, obviously, in any sort of format, Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Full explanation ↗, tournaments, one-offs, whatever. But there's nothing on the Patriots side to run it back with. I just don't have any interest, so I'll be under on this spot. Don't love it.
Yet still no um updates here I was trying to see if we got any more news but nothing yet so moving on hoop I'll stay with you it's your Lions here you said you want to pick on them um Lions twenty seven and a half point team total at home six and a half point favorites might have moved a little bit um as of now but just noting it you've got uh pretty much every option on both sides ready to go by the looks of it outside of waiting on news with adni Mitchell that is a a big piece on the jet side.
But other than that, I mean, the Lions are looking stacked. You can still put together a good Jets build, whether or not Adonai Mitchell is in. So go ahead. Yeah. I mean, that's, you know, somewhat big news because then you get another like cheap wide receiver and in Williams, Isaiah Williams, if you want to go there. But, yeah, I mean, the Lions defense is horrible and the Lions offense is really good.
So they're going to score points and they're going to continue to give up a lot of points. And their secondary, another injury last week to Maddox. So it's just it's a really bad situation for the Lions defense, but really good for teams going against them. You know, maybe a little biased, but, you know, Geno Smith, One would be the Mills kind of in this spot against Detroit. So I'm going back to it. Again, you know the options on Detroit. Yes, Jameer Gibbs is very popular.
Amonra St. Brown, popular but not super popular because it's hard to fully pay up. After that, though, you've got Jameson Williams who – you know, big drops in week one, but has big play upside. You have Sam LaPorta at tight end. So a lot of different ways to go within this offense. And then on the jet side, Gary Wilson going to be owned. But then Brees Hall, you know, again, I always talk about this.
Uh and we've been talking about it forever since we launched Ship It Nation like a lot of sites as the week goes on you'll see their projections all start to look very similar because they're looking at what other people do and they're saying oh we're too light on this guy so we got to bump them we're too high on this guy got bummed up I give our team a ton of credit like if you you know if you go in and I'll get just give it away if you go in to the running back position and sort it by best point per dollar play on the slate.
We have Brees Hall as the best point per dollar running back play on the slate. That's different than the rest of the industry. And the rest of the industry would see something like this and they'd go in and make the adjustment because they don't want to be an outlier. Our stuff loves Brees Hall today and has him as the best point-per-dollar play on the slate. I'm going to play a lot of Brees Hall for that reason.
I'm going to be overweight on Brees Hall for that reason. Makes me like this game even more as a whole. Geno Smith, not much OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗. They can come from behind.
And put up some points here if they assuming they are playing from behind this Lions defense and secondary is horrible so um love the spot you know gibbs gonna be super high owned and it's almost like you know most people are just starting with gibbs in their lineup so it's all not necessarily a free square but it's a tough tough fade so like take that out of the equation you do have a monra who will get some but it'll be held in check because of the way roster construction is going today This is the spot, though.
It worked in week one where, you know, I just loaded up on this game, had a bunch of Saints, had a bunch of Lions. I think we can do it again here. It's a little less comfortable with Geno Smith, but I think it can happen. And I love the over stack here. I mean, absolutely love it. Yeah, you'll see too, Title, a lot of people are going to have Garrett Wilson and Jameer Gibbs and move on.
But those lineups are in a world of hurt if this game is the game, right? They might not be because there's so many games on the slate and options that can beat them out and all that. But to Hoop's point, if you do get the over stack, there's tons of ways to slice and dice it. You can play Brees Hall with Gibbs. How many people are going to do that?
Most people are thinking, if I'm not going to play Gibbs and Hoop just said this about Hall... Let me go get hall instead. You could do that, but you also could just play them both and then stack around them or however you want to do it. Gino's in play. Garrett Wilson in place. Sadiq is in play. Sam LaPorta, Jameson Williams. There's people won't get to all of them. It's all, everyone's just playing this game.
No, everyone is playing Gibbs and Wilson and some mixture of a few other things. Sure. There's other guys that, you know, Amin Ra is getting thrown in as a one-off and double wide receiver lineups and things like that title. But how do you see this one stacking up either side, both the game? What are you thinking? I like one side a lot. I don't like one side a lot. And the Jets thing and kind of what you said to ownership, I don't like the Jets.
The reason for it is when people are playing Geno, you've talked a lot about conditional ownership, you and Blickle and stuff recently. When you play Geno Smith, ninety five, I don't know whatever number he has projected. They're all playing Garrett Wilson. You have no other option really to play. So I'm playing a subpar offense, subpar quarterback. And when I'm playing him, I'm funneled into the same exact build as everyone else. And then it's all right.
Is it going to be Gibbs or Amon Roth? Yeah, sure, you can mess around on the back side of who you bring back. Not something I'm trying to do. So, yeah, I think the Jets side is really bad. I actually, yeah, sure, Brees Hall is fine as a one-off. Garrett Wilson fine by himself. Isaiah Williams, if there is no Donnie Mitchell, three point $3,000. He played eighty percent of snaps last week. That would be a punt I would be interested in.
And if I was playing Gino stuff, I would highly consider playing some Isaiah Williams. But man, playing just Geno and Williams feels like, is Williams really going to have a hundred and one or something? It does feel like Garrett Wilson would need to push him or Brees Hall would catch a pass and get there. He would need his real players to actually do something. So it's not for me on the Jets side, just one off.
Sadiq hasn't played over fifty percent of snaps yet. I don't I don't like it. Now, Lions side, I love. Goff won't really be played too much, but when you play him, you have multiple options. You can play Gibbs, Amin Ra, definitely going back to Jameson Williams, Sam LaPorta. It's so concentrated just within them, but there's enough ways that when you play Goff, you can fade any one of those people and just stack the other two or other three. Great team total.
Jets are bad. They're at home, in the dome. Everything lines up. Ownership's in check. I like the Lions side a ton. I'm not forcing a Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Full explanation ↗. Obviously, Brees or Williams or Wilson are all fine. So, yeah, sign me up for everything on that side. Goff leverages Gibbs stuff. I'm going to play a lot of Gibbs chalk. It's hard for me to get to Gino. Yeah, I think one of the things that's super interesting.
I will say, if you are – I mean, I get you don't like the Jets side all that much, but play – I would highly recommend playing a run back. This defense in secondary is horrible. Like, absolutely horrible. Somebody is going to do something on the jet side. Like, somebody. They're only in play for twenty, though. So are the Saints in week one. And, like, they're going to – these teams will come back. The Saints – Chuck had forty yards at half.
Like, we got the tail end outcomes on both halves. And you ran – and OT. OT got lucky in that game. Like, that game wasn't fully getting there until – It was pretty solid before OT. There was more. I'm just telling you, man, this defense is so bad. I mean, they get a twenty one nothing and then second half like you should bet the over total then you should just hammer. No, I'll just do it in DFS.
I'll make more money in DFS by Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Full explanation ↗. You can make both. I'm going to make a million by stacking this puppy. Oh, he's calling his shot. All right. I like it. I just added more. It's just they can't stop anyone. And Geno is competent enough. Like, they're good against statue quarterbacks. Geno will move a little bit and get away from some of that pressure and wide open dudes down the field. Yeah, Geno does suck. Absolutely. But sucky quarterbacks, sucky shitty quarterbacks.
Geno does suck. Yes, he is not a good quarterback. Shitty quarterbacks win Milly Makers all the freaking time. That's what I was just going to say. This game reminds me of last year. People told me that, who was it? Tyrod Taylor sucks and his receivers are loser $3,000 guys and paying up for Bijan is stupid when you can just play Brees Hall, blah, blah, blah. We flipped that exact game script that ended up being the winner everywhere that week.
And it was a cheap, Guy with a couple receivers and then flipping the bill. This one's the same thing, but opposite. I like titles move here. Here's the thing. If you're playing the Geno side, a lot of people are just going to have Wilson right away. And then what's a Geno Isaiah Williams lineup really going to do for you?
So you kind of want a triple stack or even a double stack story or triple stack and add Brees Hall and then hope Gibbs goes into that as a way to get different with Gibbs. But if you just flip to the golf side, You can do crazy stuff. You can... So how many Goff Amonrahs will have Garrett Wilson? A lot. What if you played Goff, Jamo, LaPorta? Well, now you could get away with Wilson because who gives a shit?
Like you're not playing Gibbs or Amonrah in the same game stack, but you're still running it back to make it move. If you play Jared Goff, Amonrah with... LaPorta or Amun-Ra J-Mo and used Brees Hall and no Gibbs and no Garrett Wilson. Now you got no Gibbs, no Garrett Wilson in the same game. So as we always say, it's not who you play, it's how you play them. I like Hoops Call.
I do want to run back on this spot definitely for me because I think it's going to be what makes the game move back and forth. But the Lions will stomp and put up points either way. So any of these guys can rack it up. The last thing I'll say here though on Isaiah Williams is I think he's really interesting also as a one-off. We'll see the Adonai Mitchell news. We'll see.
But the reason I think that is because he would fill in as the cheap tight end, right? If you're looking at all the tight ends on the slate that are kind of in that place, you'd be able to pay up now and get like a McBride or somebody else that you wanted there and just hope Isaiah Williams beats the cheap tight ends And you could get away with that as well. So I think there's a bunch of different ways to play this game.
But I think if you're avoiding it, you're going to be missing out, right? It's fine. I just think the other thing is a lot of people are stopping at Gibbs and moving on. There's a ton of different ways. And if you've got Multi-EntryMulti-entry means entering more than one lineup into the same contest. A contest's entry limit, such as 3, 20 or 150, sets how many lineups one user can submit.Set your total spend for the slate first, then divide it into entries. Multi-entry should spread a fixed budget across more outcomes, not raise how much you put at risk.Full explanation ↗, I would highly suggest thinking about being in this spot and just how you get different within it. One thing to add on a lighter note, RIP our guy TeSlaa.
Like, man, when the coach comes out and basically says, bro, like you're like the sixth option, like you're not going to get many opportunities out here. You know it's done when the coach says that. For sure. On a lighter note, RIP. Said nobody ever, but that's amazing. Tesla, he's done, man. He's gone. That was titles for last year. The coach says, yeah, buddy, like you're not going to have many opportunities out here in this offense. Yeah. I think it's going to be fine.
I think there's a ton of different ways to go in this game. So we'll, we'll keep it there and move on title. I'm going to go back to you now. We'll go to the Bengals at the Steelers. Ja'Marr Chase coming through with the big boy game last week, obviously after hurting people's feelings, that's typically how it goes. We did get the Pittman news early this morning. Pittman jr. Is in after just a week out.
So, um, you know, Warren in, we expected that, but just of note, you know, he was coming off a little bit of an injury. People like Warren, uh, people like Warren and that's it, I think in this game, but I'll let you take it from here. Yeah. I mean, first of all, that's your Mark J's first touchdown last week. Adjustment on the sideline is just shows how special these guys are. That was such a year and might stay that way to me.
Like that's insane because of what it's worth and what it's for and the technical side of it. That was just crazy. Yeah, I mean, it just shows these guys can, good O beats good D, like I was saying, basketball, but you can, these star receivers against bad matchups still can get there at low OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗. As far as this game, yeah, it's Jalen Warren for sure that's getting some of the ownership. I always, like this division game is not something I go out of my way to always play.
It's usually slower. I think it's grinded out.
Especially with Rogers nowadays like his ideal game is just move third and one third and two keep Burrow off the field play to the under not something that I love for DFS but man like Warren's receiving or reception prop is almost the same as dks at four and a half juice on the under but you're gonna see a lot of checkdowns I think from Rogers to Warren no rico which is why we're talking about Warren He doesn't really hasn't really had a chance to get a full workload in his career.
So $5,700 is a solid price tag. I don't love the game implied for just about twenty points. Not a stance that I'm looking to go crazy under or crazy over. Personally, I'm curious to hear your guys take. I don't love him. I don't hate him because he could catch six or seven passes. And right there on a full point PPR site could be enough after that. Oh man, it's tough. DK, I guess maybe.
$5,400 is a great price tag, but it's been really, really bad for him. I was going to ask where he lands on your border of those other guys, but it's just because it's been so bad. But $5,400, if you think he's something, could still be good. I think he's my second favorite play in this game, to be honest. I like it more than the Chase Browns, Ja'Marr Chase, Higgins, mainly just because of the price tags we're talking.
But yeah, take a shot on DK. I don't like this game, though. It's both defenses, I think, at low ownership are definitely in play. I mean, as you can see, Rodgers back here, he's an old man that can't move anymore. So you can stream him every single week, a defense against him, and you have a chance for a touchdown. Yeah, a lot of people in chat asking about certain injuries, things like that. We update as we go along, but we also go game by game.
So, I mean, this is a live show. You're here now with us. You'll get to that when we get to those games. I think the Bengals D, somebody said it in the chat, if you want to LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ Warren, you could do that. I think Metcalf could be the good leverage play there. I wanted to play a bunch of Metcalf last week. Now I know Pittman Jr. Is back.
It's like the opposite of it, but also just going back to the well and if they can actually finally get this guy some targets at $5,400 DK Metcalf, that is.
Somewhat interesting I think all of this game though is to me who better for the early only stuff there's always big early only contest by the way like there's you know twenty dollar with $100,000 up top there's three thirty threes with $50,000 or $30,000 or something like if you want to do that that's where I feel like you could get after it with something like this and and hope that you get the, the division battles, the AFC North battle of the, where the first game goes crazy.
Sometimes it's the opposite, obviously where it's just stays tight and the next game opens up. But if you hope that this game's goes back and forth, it's just the total, not super high. The offenses are pretty condensed though. What's your thoughts here? The Steelers games have just been complete dog shit for fantasy. And I think it kind of remains, I think it's going to remain that way moving forward. Like, I don't know.
I had higher hopes, I guess, that the Steelers would be able to do something. It's early, and maybe they do turn it around. But, man, I got to see something. Like, I got to see something out of this offense before I can really play it for DFS. So, for me, it's like, yeah, Jalen Warren I think is fine. Like, he can get a ton of catches here. Like, that receiving prop stuff is very encouraging. Ja'Marr Chase, absolute stud.
But I'll probably just be playing those guys as one-offs, and that's it. Maybe some DKs. I hope he can get it going, but I just don't love this game at all. I like DK more with Pittman back in, by the way. I mean, when Rowan Wilson and Giovanni Bernard is your wide receiver twos, like if I'm a defensive coordinator, I'm putting a safety above DK every time and not letting them beat me. So a little harder to do with Pittman.
Yeah if you play DFS for any amount of time or if you watched us review on takedown breakdown talk about it week after week whatever it might be there's so many weeks like this in the NFL long Sample size where everyone's on certain player in this case could be Warren and you could have just got the wide receiver one for three hundred bucks less at you know way less ownership in a different position right in at the wide receiver position you're like oh of I was on Warren and DK Metcalf finally breaks the slate or something.
And like that ends up happening. I know people are talking about Friar Muth as well. Again, you know, Mayo and Blickle were betting his, you're laddering him up with the over receptions. That would definitely help in DFS at $3,800. It is another interesting spot where. People start at Warren, then they mention Metcalf like I just did, but then it ends up being Fryer.
If that's the case and you think that's it, he would be a good one-off tight end there that you could go to. So up to you guys. I'll leave it with you there. Hoop, I'm going to stay with you. Panthers at the Browns. A little bit of love to start the week. It seems like it cooled down quite a bit on this one outside of maybe Chubb Hubbard. That's kind of where we're at now. Yeah, I mean, I think Hubbard a really good play.
I mean, he's looked good. This offense has looked competent. Our guy Rico Dowdall now, what, is he out? Has he even been in? Jonathan Brooks is out. Wait, wait, I got the wrong squad, man. I got the wrong squad.
Because of the Steelers who's out yes yes yes yes yes yeah everything just mixed together for me at once uh so yeah Jonathan Brooks was this guy I thought was going to be in best ball title you know this at the end of the season like he was getting drafted like very high up in these yeah like out of nowhere and a lot of screenshots out there in the industry with all their Jonathan Brooks look Yeah. Yeah. That was wild. That's definitely one I avoided.
Thank God. But you know, Hubbard looks to be in a phenomenal spot. You know, they're favored here, not by a ton, but he's looked good. This offense has looked good. I'm interested in some capacity, not like in terms of the passing game. I like Hubbard, but I'm saying Bryce Young and Tatt and Coker, like y'all have some of that. My, my one fifty low total here, forty one and a half. But yeah, To me, the play is definitely Hubbard.
I like him quite a bit on the Brown side. Yeah, not a ton. Like if I get to some of these guys, that's fine. I mean, their offense was a little more competent last week against Tampa. But, you know, my favorite play here by far is Hubbard. Yeah, they're not the same defense as before. But I will say one of the interesting spots here outside of the obvious, like you mentioned with the Hubbard stuff or if you're Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Full explanation ↗ it, then I get it.
But if you're not, I actually think the Browns at $2,500, they're a hundred. I think they're a hundred bucks more than the Titans. And I don't know about you guys, but being a Ravens fan, I follow it quite heavily with the AFC North stuff. But the dog pound, very tough to go into. Like you can see Lamar go in there for games and get crushed and stuff like that. It's like it still is Bryce Young.
We can see him turn back a little bit to what we've seen in the past. So I think the Browns, even our boy Ham likes Judkins. $6,100 on FanDuel. You're looking for touchdowns, things like that. I don't know. No.
Title gotten along with that you know that I had to look I had a different screen up I had to pull it up with that name and all I see is I was laughing at you because I saw your eyes and everything but he turned right around we know there are the chatter he knows we know is going all in on junk on junkies yeah that's the one so who got the uh the tank top up let's see it crop top But yeah, in this spot, I don't know.
Like, uh, I think like, uh, you know, if you're stacking it, it is one of those ones where like, if you were stacking Deshaun, we know who it's going to be with, but are people actually playing Deshaun, Boston, Concepcion and Tet or Coker or something like that? I just don't think people will be on this game stack and it would allow you to fit everything. A lot of people are talking about it being an up in pace spot.
But again, if the, you know, if Bryce Young doesn't, doesn't show up or, you know, get Deshaun Watson the way he usually is. It could be one of these defenses. That is all you end up needing, if anything, but anything else to add here, you guys, I forget who's up, but go ahead. The Coke man, Jalen Coker. I'm, this is a guy I'm going to be bumping manually until his price is $6,500 and not $5,500. Like this dude is.
Really good. Him and Tet. It's so concentrated. That's why I like these Panthers and why you can play them. Waller in the red zone is really unfortunate. He's ran pretty good there. But Chubb, Tet, Coker. Like, there you go. You know where the ball is going. I have interest in all of them individually. Yeah, Chubb. They love Chubb Hubbard. Like, even with the Jonathan Brooks stuff earlier in the year, we saw when Rico rushed for .二, Chubb came back. Like, it's already Chuba's backfield again.
Now he really has no competition. Ran pretty bad in last week's game as well on the box score. The game got out of hand, but I think Chubb is a great play. I do prefer Chubb over Warren for four hundred more right now. Again, maybe you'll need the savings, but Ted $6,000 and Coker $5,500 when they're getting almost all every time Bryce Young drops back, it's going to be one of those two.
I think they're they're good one offs when you're not playing Chubb as a way to LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ that a bit. Other side with the Browns. I don't know. It's tough. Like Denzel Boston the one that I'm the most interested in. He by far is playing the most snaps. He broke out last week. Concepcion is, yeah, now it was TeSlaa. Now I can say Concepcion. He's good. He's a gadget guy.
It's thin on this slate, but if you are playing like Chubb and you want a mini stack on the way back, $4,500 Boston, $4,300 Concepcion would be my preferred over a Buckins at $5,500. It's just hard. I mean, it's one of those two. We just figure it out, or just stack them together. But yeah, it is Boston.
I think we'll get a little more love, but we're talking like five percent versus three percent or something, if it even shakes out that way. The chat was making fun of you because you said you're bumping the Coke, bumping Coke. The Coke man. Over there, Coke man. Yeah, that's good. So we'll keep it moving. A lot of games to get through. I'm going to stay with you, Title. We'll go with the Colts at home versus the Texans. Nico, obviously the news.
Yeah. Yep. Nico's out. I mean, if Nico's not playing, I think we got to fire up Dalton Schultz, who came around after week one, but he's the wide receiver one there, too. I will say a very low own play. Xavier Hutchinson is another one as a cheap punt. He was close last week, just missed like a forty yard touchdown or something. And his box score would look completely different. It's Hutchinson and Schultz. Schultz getting a little OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗.
I do think two tight ends is solid on this slate. But yeah, Xavier Hutchinson, $4,000. People are not going to go all the way down. There's a way to get different. I have some interest in him. Outside of that, on the cold side, it would really just be JT. You're not going to see. Actually, let's see. JT, we have that eleven percent. Feels like it could come back a little bit. Well, I mean, yeah, it's it's pretty tough to click that name.
So I don't mind J.T. Schultz, J.T. Hutchinson or just one Hutchinson or Schultz like J.T. The opportunity costs you're playing him. It's probably not Walker. It's probably not Gibbs. Maybe better when you're doing like golf stuff and avoiding Gibbs or the home stuff and avoiding Walker. I don't know. Don't love the cold side, though. The craziest thing about the Texans last week, you just reminded me, was like that was all the points for no points. Like, you know, Schultz got them all.
He was good at his number. That worked out well. But, I mean, like the Hutchinson just missed. Like, Booth didn't get nothing going. But I think Stroud still threw for almost three hundred yards. Over. Yeah, he got the bonus. Yeah, I think he got twenty points or something. He had no touchdowns. I believe that was the number if I'm correct. So you're right. Anyway, that was a bit tilting there. Montgomery hoop on FanDuel is basically the same price as DraftKings.
If you're looking for a guy just to jam three touchdowns, you'll fall in the box three times. He's one of the possible. So your thoughts on this is horrible. Like he's like two point five. I know. But who is it? He's just high touch. Yeah. Not an appealing game, but I don't know, just as we kind of talk through it or title kind of talk through it, like, roster construction is tough this week. We have some salary constraints.
Stroud has looked pretty good through a couple weeks. Hutchinson, nine targets last week, and really didn't do anything. Missed on the long. You have Dalton Schultz, who is wide receiver one. And yes, you're not always going to be right in life. And when you're wrong, you apologize, hope they accept, and move on. I was wrong with my guy Schultz. He clearly accepted the apology and treated us well last week, but he's the guy. I mean, they didn't do anything offensively.
He put up like, what, thirty fantasy points? So it could happen again. So what about a Stroud double?
Stroud, Hutchinson, Schultz cheap and then you know the problem is maybe a Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Full explanation ↗ but you can take Jonathan Taylor at low ownership on the other side like that's a low own double right there that really nobody is going to be on whatsoever so I don't necessarily hate that if you are hand building some teams that's not going to pop up in an optimizer but if you're hand building like something like that is super low on, and I don't hate it because I like all these plays individually.
Hutchinson, Schultz, we need kind of cheap quarterbacks. Stroud's looked okay, so I guess maybe talk myself into a little more of that. But, you know, outside of Jonathan Taylor, it is pretty difficult on the Colts side. Go with the fast track here. Yeah, you're kind of selling me on it. Title might have sold me too now. I went there last week, got all those opportunities, had a ton of points, but no points really in the end. You had like JT.
Nobody can get to him at $7,600 gets it rolling early. And then you've got Stroud, Hutchinson, Booth and Schultz. It's kind of like in a dome as well. Like, you know. Josh Downs is there, I guess people, I mean, the coaches were talking about him too, but you know, in separation slot and twelve and eleven personnel, both. But interesting spot, I guess, like, again, if you landed there, not my favorite, but maybe got sold a little bit on it from that perspective.
All right. I'm going back to title because he's the weatherman on this one. But where are we at right now with the weather on the Giants at home versus the Titans? Of course, it was a freaking hurricane all week and eighty mile an hour winds with one hundred and twenty mile an hour gusts. And then all of a sudden, oh, it looks a little bit better. Sunday morning. Shocker. Also, Tajay Spears, while he's looking that up, will be monitored.
But the hope is he'll be able to play. Ten minutes ago, they hope he yeah, he hope he plays. So just that news just came out as well. Sunday morning update. This is from Ross. Stretches of dry weather, stretches of light rain, potentially some heavier rain later in the game. Aren't specifics quite yet of this early morning, but I do think we're dealing with some rain. Wind-wise, we're getting off the hook. Sustained winds, At times even lower than that.
All in all, a bit wet, a bit windy. It's manageable. Thank goodness I'm not a weatherman. Thank goodness these two teams suck. And even if it was seventy five and sunny with no wind, I don't know. Maybe I'd play a little more James Winston since he's free, but. In this spot, it's Titans defense. It's nothing for me. They're going to get OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗.
I feel like back in the day, I almost always tried to avoid cheap defenses more than I do now because I think there's other ways you can get different, but it's still the highest variance volatility position out there. So, yeah, it's Titans defense or nothing for me, though. I guess Giants defense. I mean, maybe I'm overlooking that a little bit. Go to the other side. Cam Ward, weather game. Yeah, I probably should bump the Giants, actually. Where is the chat?
The chat's been talking about it the whole way. Yeah. I think that's definitely an interesting spot. So they're also now talking hoop about the, the one, one delay, one Dale it's one Dale, but I like saying Robinson revenge game. So I don't know about that, but Nabers. Is in a good spot, but you know, he's been up or down Likely seemingly in a good spot. Scat. That's what I was saying earlier.
People want to play the weather side of it, but I think just flipping it to the Giants D alone could be huge. It is going to be a big ownership on the Titans when it's all said and done.
Yeah I mean and it's tough to not be okay with it like we need salary savings it's going against jamis Winston
Who will just chuck it up I mean I don't know what the prop is title you might have to do some digging on this one but like Winston interception prop he has to be favored to throw a pick in this game like there's no doubt about it so it's like you're gonna get some some free points despite the the weather situation minus one seventy nine yeah so massively favored to throw a pick so like that is an appealing spot regardless they're cheap the team total they're going against is sitting at twenty so I'm good with it but yeah for tournament but with defense man it's very rarely the deciding factor in in in
Tournaments so it's like tough to even like dig into it that deep but The Giants on the other side, they're way more expensive. So the ownership discrepancy between the Titans and the Giants defense is going to be massive. But the fact that we're talking about defenses here instead of offenses, is all you really need to know about this one. I will have James in my one fifty, a $4,000 quarterback that's willing to chuck it. You know, he throws a lot of fifty fifty balls.
Maybe they land in the wide receivers hands instead of the defense's hands. And he's able to do something here. But it's really just him. And, you know, I get the Wandale thing. I was very high on him coming into the season. But this Titans offense is going to continue to be dog shit. All right. I'm going to stay with you. Last game of the morning.
We've got the four afternoon games coming up after this hoop, but the last game of the morning is the Commanders at home. No Jayden Daniels, obviously after that tough injury last week going against the Seahawks. So needless to say, it's gonna be a tough one. I think their team total is like sixteen, seventeen, somewhere in that range. But Seahawks looking pretty good in this spot. Your thoughts here, Hoop?
Yeah, I mean, people just continue to not want to play JSN, or maybe it's because it's tough to get to them. But last week, what was he, eight or nine percent owned? Just nukes the slate with Drew Locke at quarterback. That's one thing I'm doing the rest of the season. I don't care what his OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ is. I'm going to be overweight on JSN.
After last week, and I was overweight last week, I had a team that kind of ironically, was a Drew Locke JSN stack that kind of had the run in the middle. He was top twenty at the end. After that, I'm like, I'm just going to be overweight on JSN for the rest of the season. And it's pretty easy because there's really not much else you need to worry about in this offense.
Like, I know a lot of people were high on Shahid coming into the season, like just play JSN and, you know, kind of move on a little bit. You know, they're mixing in other guys that are running back that Commanders defense is horrible with Mariota there. There's not much you need to worry about. I'm just going to play a lot of JSN and kind of move on here. Yeah, we moved from the Titans D down to this spot.
And I will say, well, D does not decide a slate at all. Look at last week. I think the winner of the Milly Maker and Rio, our man Hebrew Cheetah, shout out to him again, second place just behind him. Both those guys had a D that didn't really do much, I think, and could have done more. Maybe the first place guy ended up having Carolina and did have the D that was needed.
But my point being, rio literally right there with a d that did nothing so it's like it usually doesn't decide it hoop said it though the commander's d bad mariotta bad the o-line banged up bad and you got the Seahawks coming in here my thing with this one I get the jsn's alone he'll obviously be in the pool he's an expensive wide receiver he's uh you know a pivot at a different position from guys like gibbs and some of these other spots that people would just spend that money they're on but I So Jadarian, the price is right right now today with the Seahawks defense could just be a smash.
$5,300 saying he's full go. We're waiting to see a breakout from this guy. This could be the spot. And I like the Seahawks defense coming in here, going up against that. I like paying up for D this week. I talked about it yesterday on leverage lane. I think this is a really good spot. You don't need to put price in it.
I just I do think that is a good price on Jadarian, but I'll kick it over to you, title your thoughts on this one. I want to play Price, but man, it's because, I mean, he looks really good eye test wise, but the props, the props aren't a fan. It's a lot of opportunity costs at running back this weekend. The props don't love it. Like he's thirteen and a half and he's plus rushing attempt prop. He's plus money.
I think he's going to need at least seven, eighteen carries probably to have a chance at the optimal on this slate. He's a dog to score a touchdown at plus one fifty five. Not known to catch a bunch of passes out of the backfield. I think I'm just going to be in favor of props on this one and be under pretty much everything in this game. Yeah, I don't mind Seahawks defense.
If you play Price, I think you're better off probably trying to pair him with Seahawks defense. But I can play Seahawks defense by itself and play JSN Seahawks. I can just play JSN. That's that's it, though. I think this is one of the worst games on the slate. And again, this is the second of two weather games that Roth wrote up. He has this as orange as well. What? Fifteen mile an hour winds gust hit thirty at times. Light showers. I just yeah.
Typical Washington weather, I guess. All right, take us into the first afternoon game. Then we've got the Buccaneers at home versus the Vikings. I mentioned it earlier, the late swap opportunity, very high on this slate. There's a ton of different ways you can go in the afternoon.
I think every game you can make a case for it at least, but there's some really good swap options of like, you know, the Cowboys stuff can be flipped over to the Vikings stuff, or you can move the, uh, forty-niner stuff. If you're in, you know, depending on how your lineup shake out in the morning, you can definitely move it around. Let's start with this one title Vikings at the Bucs. Yeah, the Burks are ass.
Maybe I'm just salty because I lost my survivor, but Deshaun Watson moving the ball on these guys. They blitz every play. It seems like Todd Bowles always has and literally always has a clean pocket. Does Deshaun Watson or he did last week? Kyler's back. He's got legs. He's $5,100. He's got the best receiver in football, I always say. But man, now JSN and Chase and who knows who the heck's the best receiver in football.
But he's got my boy Jets at seventy five. Addison, this LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ $4,900. Like, yeah. Talk about another guy coming into the year that I was definitely high on is really disappointed. We only saw Kyler play eleven snaps, though. So this is his real first game, in my opinion. We always know what kind of upside he has for DFS. A competitive game. Clear people to play in Jefferson, Addison.
And yeah, with no Jordan Mason still, Aaron Jones got the ball over twenty times last week. $5,900 can also catch passes. I am in on a lot of this Vikings stuff. And then for the Tampa side. I think my favorites just go to that tight end position where every other name is being clicked and no one's going to play Kate Otton. He's Baker's security blank in the middle of the field. So I think Kate Otten's a great Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Full explanation ↗ in this game.
Shurig Buka's fine. Bucky at $6,200 again. Running back is really good on the slate. So probably not going to be the way I'm going to get different there. I do like Kyler's stuff, though. Oh, I didn't mention TJ Hawkins. Of course, TJ is also in play. You can play TJ and Otton if you want in this game. So I'm all aboard the Vikings offense. I think there's a lot of upside there. Don't love the Bucs' runbacks. Otten would be my favorite.
Igbuka, fine. Yeah, with Murray and Addison, $10,000 combined and then Jefferson being, I think, cheap at $7,500 versus what we could see eventually get to here. I think that makes this really appealing from the passing attack there. Obviously, if you want to put in Hawkins, you can. I like it. Buka on the other side. I want I do want to run back here. I want something to make this game move. So I think that would be the case.
But this stack for the Vikings, we love it. Another one like who mentioned we do stuff differently. Over a Ship It Nation. It's different, but it's good. It's worked for a ton of people, won them millions of dollars. So it might be helpful if you're not a Ship It Nation member to get in there, get into Ship It Games, get the accurate stuff. But I would say that Murray, Jefferson, Addison, and Buka as a way to start a lineup hoop, you could be just fine.
I also think Aaron Jones, Minnesota defense. Your title is talking about how bad the Bucs are. You could just pair those two up. You could just play the Vikings D as a way to get different. They're $4,300 on FanDuel, $3,100 on DraftKings. But what's your thoughts here? Who put the Bucs at the Vikings? I got my boy Danny today because I'm in on the Vikings, definitely in on the Vikings.
And the main reason is I think it's Probably as cheap as it's going to be all season long. It's not going to be this cheap, and I've shit on Kyler Murray forever, and I think he's a horrible quarterback for going out and winning football games, for a real-life quarterback.
But for DFS, I'm in and definitely in like running upside he's got it all got you know Justin Jefferson so I like this it's cheap and I guess I like it more as like a Game StackIn the NFL, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, one or two of his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Full explanation ↗ situation I want I want to be in on this and I want multiple pieces and they're cheap like obviously Justin Jefferson the Addison call and then you get a really cheap uh tight end in hawkinson who's been very involved in this offense $3,200 for hawkinson like I'm in for sure I want multiples
Though I want like again like I talked about in that Lions Lions game I want to be in on this game and just hope we get a shootout I mean it is it's only a forty two total no one's really going to be on it but you have pieces on the other side you know Bucky Irving going to be you know virtually unowned with all the running backs uh I just wanted to get verification on that number real quick Bucky, five percent.
So a guy that can catch six to seven balls, you know, a hundred yards. He can he can have a big game. Igbuka, good with him. And then another.
Cheap tight end like title talked about kate otten um that is like that that's at the price point if you're playing Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Full explanation ↗ and he goes out and gets you a goose egg you can still win so it's like it's just all real really all upside kind of $3,100 and I think he had uh what do you have five targets and six targets in the first two games so eleven targets through two that's great for $3,100 so um I like this game as a whole I don't like I don't like playing Baker at quarterback.
I guess I should say I like playing Kyler at quarterback and then the runbacks on the Tampa side. I like doing it that way. That's what I like as well. And even a big over stack of like, you could do a Kyler triple stack and run it back with somebody on the buck side. I think there's a lot of things that could go right. There's tons that can go wrong.
We're talking about Kyler Murray versus Baker Mayfield, but you could see those two in a back and forth and Baker having fun with it. And Kyler ends up hooking up with those guys with Jefferson, Addison, Hawkins, Egbuka on the run back, something like that. I think there's a ton of ways you can stack it up. So have interest there. The stone likes it. The numbers like it over Chippenation. I think this is definitely a spot that our members will be on.
If it goes our way, good, good spot to be hoop. I'll stay with you. Another really good game here. Forty Niners at home versus the Cardinals. Yeah, so another week where the forty Niners are projected to score a lot of points and the OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗ is not really coming along with it. You look at Christian McCaffrey, he's going to be far behind Jameer Gibbs and Kenneth Walker in terms of ownership. Like he's going to be way behind those two. I believe we have it around.
What like we have thirteen percent, fourteen percent on Christian McCaffrey. Brock Purdy is going to be held in check. Mike Evans is going to have like no OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Full explanation ↗. The injury stuff obviously is somewhat of a concern. Debo. And then you have Kittle where he's priced a little bit more than those those cheap tight end. So it's a spot again, if you're building a lot of lineups or even hand building like you want to get to this Kittle less than ten percent.
They're going to score. They're going to score projected score. Twenty eight. That's four touchdowns. Ownership not following. And you have runbacks on the other side. Like, you know, we should on. Yeah, I'm just I'll save the runbacks for sure, because we got Randy Moss Jr. Going on the other side. But you do have runbacks and McBride where no one's going to want to pay up at at tight end. And, you know, titles, boy, Moss Jr. So there's runbacks and everything, but low on for a team projected score.
Twenty eight. Yeah, title, I'll kick it right to you. Obviously got Michael Wilson on the other side, but your thoughts on this game as a whole too, and then bring that into it. Yeah, I like this game a lot. I think the forty Niners drive pretty much. This game's really similar to the Bills Charters game we let off on in the sense of I think the Bills drive and have success pretty much every single time they touch the ball.
And I think the same for the forty Niners. And then that'll force if this game does truly explode, we're set to do something. Or even if the Cardinals don't for the whole first half, we saw last year that. I assume once everyone was playing NFL DFS last year, Jacobs was the king of garbage time and just always ended up with like twenty three DraftKings points. You would take that at $4,800. He has two very clear pairings, Michael Wilson and Trey McBride.
And I like them both. I like them both when you're just playing a McCaffrey on the other side and you play one of them. I think there's multiple ways to play it. Kittle in on McCaffrey in on everything Hoop said. Like, yeah, he's everyone's going Walker and Gibbs. Why not? Christian McCaffrey has been the best running back for DFS for many of years. Why can't he get the job done? So I like this game quite a bit.
Bursette might be one of my favorite, or there's not too many $4,000 viable guys, but Bursette's probably my cheapest that is in play for me at quarterback. And again, clear pairing, three hundred plus yard upside. If this game truly does shoot out, the Cardinals have to do something. So yeah, I like this game quite a bit at ownership. It's not showing to really get much at all. One double-digit player, McCaffrey. Jacoby and Wilson, same price as Kyler and Addison. You take the Jacobs side?
Man, Kyler's legs make that difficult. Obviously, like Michael Wilson over Addison. If we're talking tournaments, probably I would probably prefer – For a set side, just because the ownership's way lower, really close. I think that's the stackability maybe now that I think out loud too. Like then you could get like a Kittle or a McCaffrey or something like that versus trying to pick an Ibuka or a Bucky or something along those lines. I like both.
What was I going to say to the other? Oh, so Mike Evans, who I just want to get quick on this one. So Mike Evans just came out, you know, good to go this morning or whatever that he's going to be in. Do you think there's any like full, is that full go? You think he's all set again? Or do you think they hold back a little bit? Like what's your guys' take on that?
I didn't ask you either title, but go ahead and chime in if you want. Uh-huh. I don't have the strongest take. Go ahead, Hoop. Yeah, I don't either. I mean, it's like Mike Evans. He's always hurt. Yeah, always hurt, and we always expected him to, I don't know. I have no read. I have no idea. I think they're going to rotate at receiver a little more, and then you'll see him out there for like seventy percent of snaps, but the high LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. Yeah. That's what I was trying to look up there too. So yeah, I don't hate that. So I'm good. I'm good with, you know, like, I guess what I was trying to think about is if you had like some Brock Purdy, CMC Kittle lineups, hope that, you know, Debo and Mike Evans stay down, don't do much. And then you can have a guy like Michael Wilson on the other side. I think you can play McBride and Kittle.
I mean, pretty obvious, but I'm saying you can, but I'm just saying, I think that's fine because Kittle, especially on DraftKings where he's only $4,800, that is, you know, what could be um another big game for him so you you get that out of a guy at $4,800 doesn't really matter if your other tight end is a wide receiver one at tight end one pricing of $6,700 versus you know he could be $8,000 or something if it was actual so I think that's a another good game to be in in the afternoon but so is this one hoop so I'm going to stay here with you Cowboys at
Home well sorry Cowboys versus the Ravens seen as the home team but this is in brazil and playing on some field that they're talking about and just going on and on about, but the total, I think has only gone up since the start of the game time. So what's your thoughts on this one? It's like crazy. They have to make like a deal about like everything. Like the, the field yesterday was like the biggest issue. And like, that's all everyone's talking about.
And then I was like, Oh, it's actually not too bad. Like just everything has to be like a, a big conversation. There's like two, just to, I just want to chime in. There's people that rage bait, but then there's other people that are like serious. Like they should cancel this game. Why did the NFL do international games? Like why don't want turf? They don't want turf. They don't want grass. Like, Come on. Can we not complain about everything? They're a business.
Why are they even doing it? They should keep all their games in the United Scates of America and just keep it simple. It's like, what? They're trying to expand, man. People just want to complain about everything. I guess it's just human nature. Fifty three and a half points is the total now still. Yeah. And outside of Bateman, nobody going above like twelve or thirteen percent, which is, you know, wild. Bateman, I guess the news on this one, Zay Flowers is probably the most.
Confusing situation to figure out in terms of injuries, but they said if he plays, who knows how many, and it sounds like they said the Ravens are planning on him not being available. I'm guessing he's out. You kind of have to have that assumption.
If you if he is some reason ruled in they say full go and you want to get off Bateman there's going to be pivots for sure we have how many games in the afternoon window looks like four solid games I mean there's options all over the place so I I'm building obviously with flowers out if he's in I I still think Bateman is fine you know that can be in conversation or a decision to be made later in the day but very low own game for fifty three and a half total.
And again, it just goes back to that main point I made in the opening of the show. Roster construction is pretty difficult today and people don't want to sacrifice those high end running back. So you're going to they're going to have to avoid very appealing spots.
But, you know, Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, I think my favorite play in this game everything considered is definitely Derrick Henry he's looked like an absolute stud he looked great in the first half last week and like I don't think I don't know what the time of possession was but it seemed like the Ravens did not have the ball at all in the second half and they ended up losing but he looked great he looked great week one uh ownership on him is We have it at thirteen.
I wouldn't be surprised if it comes down to like ten, ten percent range. So love him. You got Mark Andrews. The play, I guess I don't like in this game would be Javonte Williams. I mean, Dallas just wants to chuck the ball like they just want to chuck it. And like, yes, Williams is going to have some some big games this season. But I think it's just going to be in games where they're favored by a lot and they get a big lead because.
They want to throw. And it was very obvious last week. So I love Dak to CD, Dak to Pickens, and then you have Ferguson as well. Again, like to get in on this game, you have to make sacrifices in your lineup and people aren't willing to do it. You know, if you're going to go heavy on this game, you're probably not going to be able to play Jameer Gibbs at running back. And I just don't think people are willing to make that sacrifice.
So that's why we're looking at a low on game here with the biggest total on the slate by, by four or five points. So maybe, you know, three, three to five points somewhere in that range. So really good game to be in. Yeah. Last week, everybody wanted this spot in the exact same spot with the exact same total. And Jaden just got injured, but Jaden was crushing it before the elbow dislocation. And now it's Lamar who's looked phenomenal.
And there's who knows whether Zay plays or not. I don't, I mean, like I'm in on this game regardless. I won't be in on Zay. And if he has a good day, good for him. But Bateman, Mark Andrews, Chris Moore, Walker. There's a bunch of guys you can stack up.
Henry is in a unique spot because we're usually getting him with ownership and not because last week was a bad game and what he put up, but he didn't do good enough on the slate for everybody. So it's not a good spot again, but that's how people treat it. Your boy though, Zach, before you take over here, this is the one I was wondering, is this like a cam from inside your house that he's got now or what's going on here?
No, thankfully it's not. Please tell me you didn't eat pancakes. No, thankfully I did not. If I did, I'd be really concerned for sure. Cameras would be, I already got some cameras and shit, but they'd be all over the place. But no, no pancakes, thankfully. Yobi tries not to know, but if you were having pancakes, would you be a hammer? Always sausage. I'm sausage always. All right. Title loves the sausage. That's what we just heard.
So if the Jets point at me about saying pan up with a D, we got to keep these jokes low key here because we're dealing with younger crowds. But Title, take us through this game, man. Your thoughts on this one. Yeah, if I did have pancakes, though, I would definitely be scared. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, as far as this game, I guess I don't really have too much more to – I guess I'm a little worried that ownership – not worried.
Even if ownership creeps up a little bit, I don't think it's enough. There's still so many ways to play in this game, but everyone just keeps talking about how low it's going to be. And when everyone keeps saying that at the highest total, eventually it can go up a little bit. Again, it's still a good game. I'm going to play or build without Zay Flowers, and then from there you can adjust. I don't really have any, like, hot takes. I guess, like, Andrews a great play.
I do agree with Hoop. Derrick Henry, Bateman way too cheap, but ownership's going to be there a little bit. Pickens, CeeDee Lamb, I guess, twelve percent, nine percent. Florina, he is, I think, like, if you're playing for Bateman and Zay is rolled in, and you need a punt receiver. I think Flournoy is someone that you can save money to. They run a good amount of three-receiver sets. This is a Janke Wester guy, stone minimum, $3,000.
Him and Chris Moore were the ones that were playing as a wide receiver two and wide receiver threes. I think I'm Josh Allen over Lamar today. It's pretty close, though. So I think that'll lead me to more Derrick Henry players. I don't have hot takes in this game. It's the guys that are being played that I'm going to play to. I think there's other games that are a little lower owned that I think have just as much upside, but I wouldn't worry about the field.
A, I think the field makes Zay, why would you play Zay Flowers on a hammy in week three when there's already concern about the field? So I feel pretty good that he's out, but the field can help the offense and hurt the defense. They know where they're going. I don't look at that stuff as much. The total clearly is not worried about the field limiting points. Agree on all that.
And the Zay one's especially interesting because this is what happens again, playing a ton of DFS experience over time. This game is in the afternoon. No one is wanting to play Zay. They're wanting to play Bateman. But now that they're not going to get the news till the afternoon and most people don't late swap or have anything to figure out with that, it actually should keep Bateman ownership in check.
So whether you're stacking the Lamar side with him or or the DAC side and using him as the Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. He won't be. Unfortunately, he's going to be owned no matter what. But I'm saying it could have got, like if we got the Zayn news right now and hopefully I don't jinx it and we don't, I don't believe in those as you know, but just noting it, it could happen. But if we don't get it, it's worse.
People will start to say, well, oh, it sounds like he might give it a go or it sounds like this and they won't want to do it as much and they won't have the ability and a lot of people won't have pre-set up late swaps, right? They won't be prepared for like, what if this, or if that. So I really like this spot. Both sides of this game, I think are interesting. It's a really good game that usually people would be all over this.
I just don't think they're doing as much as usual because it's not quite the same as the cheap price tags we saw last week with Jayden Daniels on the other side, Diggs, McLaurin, all that option. So final game of the slate, guys, we got the Saints at home versus the Raiders title. I'm going to stick with you. Curious because, you know, Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Full explanation ↗ Countdown, you do that show every Friday. People can go check it out. It's really quick. It's exactly that.
It's a quick countdown, rundown of kind of where you're at in cash. Somebody asked earlier about, you know, Kyler and cash and like what people are doing. I, you know, I'm thinking it was Shuck originally and like people like a lot, but it feels like this side has kind of got held in check now too, because again, people don't know which Raider to go to.
Like they, if they were going, they kind of say, okay, I'll go to Gentee and Bowers is in now, but they're kind of leaning away from this spot. Where are you at right now with Shuck? As a quarterback, and in this game as a whole. Yeah, I like it. I don't think the Raiders are very good. We're in the dome. I think it's pretty concentrated in terms for Shuck. Not concentrated like just Geno and then you have to play Wilson. I think you have three.
You have Olave, who's been phenomenal this year. You have Devon Bailey, who's been really good this year. And then Jawan Johnson, another tight end. I've mentioned a lot of tight ends, and I probably will be overweight on two tight end builds today, especially if I want to jam some studs. But yeah, I think you can play Shuck doubles with any two of those three. You also could just go like Shuck Olave or something. He can run.
And he's looked good ever since that first half of the Lions game. So I'm in on the Saints stuff. And yeah, for me, the clear Bring-BackIn the NFL, a bring-back is usually a wide receiver, tight end or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. In football that's usually the opponent's top pass catcher, not a running back who loses carries in a comeback.Full explanation ↗ is is Gentry getting Bowers back. It sounds like he's going to play. I can't pay $6,600. I'd rather just play Trey McBride if I'm spending up at tight end. But Genti, twelve percent to pivot from those Kenneth Walker, the Gibbs.
If this game he can speed it up, he can catch passes or given them more work. I think he is he's a very good run back or just if you play a skinny stack, Olave and Genti, Bailey and Genti. That's how I'm going to attack this game. So I like the same side and I like Genti. You can always play Trey Tucker. I mean, I guess he's a pivot off of Genti. Pretty much everybody, I guess, on the slate, but it's a late-swap opportunity.
I actually got onto some Trey Tucker last week just because some of my lineups weren't doing as great, and he was like . Five percent. He's someone that can get a thirty piece. I know Sheets has a soft spot in his heart for Trey Tucker, but he can break the slate at very low ownership, and it's in the late-swap window, so I guess it's fine. No, that's crazy. You brought that up. I remember exactly what you're talking about.
He had the triple stack with the Raiders and it was, you know, Myers did had nine points. Bowers had less than ten, but it was Tucker that had forty three or whatever. But it was still the same result as our man Hebrew Cheetah. It was a second place or $900,000 difference. Crazy. Those freaking Millies, man, just so hard to win a Hoopster. You know all about winning those things, though. Is this a spot that people could go to? You got the Raiders at the Saints.
The one thing I'll kick over to you, though, I went to shock.
Title and you're going to talk about it all but uh genti has twenty three and twenty one carries back-to-back weeks six targets and seven targets back-to-back weeks the Raiders d would be LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ against shock olave joan be like they're all getting heavy ownership but some so is genti a guy that's going overlooked on this slate it just you know $7,100 it's the you know in between of like the gibbs and those guys and then dropping down to the cheapies so just an interesting starting point Yeah, I mean, he's mixed into that group of guys that after Gibbs and Walker are just going to be held in check like they absolutely have to be.
So, yeah, I'm fine. Like, I guess for me, like you look at ownership and like Shuck is going to be probably the highest on quarterback and not a crazy number, but it's like he's the one that's getting some ownership on the slate. And I mean, I'm fine with it. I just don't love it all that much. So. I don't know. I guess I'm kind of down on this game.
I just feel like if people are playing it, it's going to be Chuck, Olave, and then Gentry on the other side. Like, I just, it's going to be very, so I will say if you are playing this game, don't do that. Like do something different. Do, Jawan Johnson, like a title talk about her play Trey Tucker. Like I just feel so many people are just going to be on the same sort of build if they are playing this game. I do like the individual pieces.
I like the lobby a lot. They lay. I like a ton. Like this guy is a legit wide receiver too. He has a good connection with shock. I think he's a phenomenal play at $4,400. And there you go. Let's say Zay Flowers is is in. And you don't feel comfortable with the Bateman stuff, there's your pivot. Vele. Same price or within three hundred. He's three hundred less. So you can definitely get to him in all those lineups. That's good.
You brought that up because Strammy asked earlier, like we're down. I'm not leaving any Zay money available and trying to like hope that it's it's not about that. I actually think it's if Zay somehow plays, I just don't think he's going to. But if he does, because he could, I'm still fine playing Bateman. I just I think I'm fine with it, too. But if you don't feel comfortable with it, like in those lineups, you have options here.
And I think they lay is a phenomenal option. And then, yeah, I'm fine playing Gentee too. Like he's in that mix of guys that, you know, it's seventy one and there's a chance it comes down lower. Like you said, it is a weird, you know, kind of price. $7,100. So fine with them individually. I just don't think I like the shuck stuff all that much. Yeah, I really like Bowers could be a one-off.
He's a tight end that's at that upper price point where he would just crush the low price guys. So that's interesting. But I like the gentee Raiders combo. And somebody mentioned it earlier too. I'm going to have a bunch of two tight end lineups like title mentioned.
But if you didn't, having a gentee three running back lineup where you've got gentee and the Raiders because you're just not on the Saints is on any of those plays that that could be fine as well and I think it's a unique way to attack the slate I mean you get what was it wasn't it uh I guess he's not a popular name these days hoop but uh Josh Jacobs on the Raiders coming home to win the Mills like that that's kind of a raider running back coming home to win the Mills has been a thing for us for hoop at least so I'll say us we'll take a
You know we're all good friends here but yeah I think that's the setup where um it at least makes some sense from that point to to sorry to hoop's point when you go like shako lave and one of those other guys it's it's going to be a more common setup of this build that wouldn't be the one I'd be late swapping to that's for sure all right anything else uh on this one hoop anything you want to add we miss no sir All right, title, final thoughts on this slate.
We kind of wrapped up a lot of different stuff. Anything else that came together in your mind or different thoughts you have now that you're going through it? I think some of the interesting things were the Houston Indy spot, sort of what could happen there. We know Nico's out, but no one's really talking about it. That's a spot.
And then these Giants and whatever they, if they could do anything at home, the defense for them when everyone's on the Titans, those were like two of the things for me that sort of hit home a little bit harder. Anything else for you?
Um not really the Bills Chargers game and Niners Cardinals looking very LeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗ I think that has some shootout potential uh like the viking stuff individually uh yeah not not too much always enjoy these Sunday shows I I like I haven't built anything yet I we're still waiting like a donnie Mitchell I think that's um kind of important news so yeah it's I wouldn't build yet until inactives. We'll get those in, what, about an hour.
But yeah, anytime it's a Sunday with NFL on our screen, a lot of money up top. You can't draw better days in my books. So, hey, and the wife and kids are gone. So I got the house set to myself for a week. So not that much changes, but I don't get woken up in the middle of the night. So I'm locked in. I'm dialed. Buddy, you better be locked in and look out for Yobi Trice, man, coming out with cameras.
I got my shit. Yeah, I got some cameras. I got some guns. We're good over here. Sounds like an invite to Yobi for some breakfast, some pancake breakfast. I'm just bugging Yobi because my goal, my ultimate goal is to meet Yobi at the live final, right? I'm still trying to get that. Mine was, and now I'm actually scared. Now I might skip a live final if I ever get there. I won't give him your phone number, Title. Don't worry. I'll keep it separate.
Man, these Lamar numbers and stuff, people are pumping up. Lamar in Brazil, man, that could be the one. Anything else stand out for you, Hoop? I know the other thing that I thought of too, just going back through it, was like the forty-Niners stuff. Like CMC, you could have like a nice golf lineup with the passing game and Let's wait on the Mitchell news, but you could have a nice golf passing lineup with a little CMC action thrown in there.
Just double leverage the Gibbs stuff, right? You got the passing game over top of them. And then you get the other running back. That's like right there at his price tag. That could definitely break a slate with Christian McCaffrey. You could have Christian McCaffrey with Michael Wilson, little secondary stack, and just have that cook back and forth and not necessarily need per to your reset.
Like, I think there's a bunch of different ways to, that you can do things differently on this slate and you're not really forcing it. It just can come together naturally, but who have anything else stood out to you as we went through all those games? Yeah, I mean, it's just I just overall think this is probably the most appealing slate of the season in terms of, you know, the full slates.
I mean, just so many different ways that you can get to the, I mean, elite teams, twenty eight team total with like no ownership. Like it's it's it's going to be a fun slave. So many different ways to go. So many different things that make sense. I'm excited for this one. I think it's going to be a good day for, you know, the Ship It Nation community.
