The Short Version

Bill, Kenny and Ian break down a slate where cheap running backs make expensive quarterbacks easier to fit. Makhi Frazier ($4,900) is the first click with Kewan Lacy out, preferred over Ahmad Miller because Ole Miss has the stronger total and game script. Kendrick Raphael is the priority SMU spend, while Steve Angeli with Calvin Russell III supplies a cheap passing stack if Angeli plays.

Isaiah Sategna III gets the strongest receiver endorsement against South Carolina's slot coverage, with Rocky Beers also in play. Trinidad Chambliss, Devon Dampier and Bear Bachmeier offer rushing ceilings without mandatory receiver stacks. Gio Lopez and Carlos Hernandez stand out for Wake Forest. Legend Glasker leads the BYU receiver interest, while Caleb Komolafe and Joseph Himon II draw explicit overweight calls against Oregon. Quarterback availability matters for Syracuse and Kansas.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
VALUE Texas Tech's clear receiving alpha should not cost less than $5,000 and is the preferred way to access its offense. 6:13
Noah Fifita Double Stack IN PLAY Prefer two receivers with Fifita as Arizona gets weapons back, with confidence in Isaiah Mizell's role and Giovanni Richardson in the slot. 6:37
ONE-OFF Still playable at $6,400 as a standalone receiver because his role appears established despite teammates returning. 7:45
FADE Not taking a shot on his return because the workload remains unclear and the backfield has additional competition. 8:43
Will Hammond / Thomas Castellanos FADE Avoid the Texas Tech quarterbacks because a potential rotation makes an already unreliable passing offense difficult to trust. 9:05
VALUE Thirty carries in the previous game make $4,700 attractive, although later discussion preferred Frazier's game script and questioned repeat volume. 14:31
VALUE Strong target involvement and a breakout game make $4,400 appealing, but enthusiasm depends on Steve Angeli being available. 14:58
ONE-OFF An affordable standalone receiving option expected to retain targets despite recent touchdown production lagging. 16:43
CORE The priority SMU spend and an intended highest-owned pay-up, with workhorse volume against Syracuse's weak run defense. 18:16
Steve Angeli + Calvin Russell III TOP STACK A favored inexpensive cash or single-entry starting point if Angeli plays, leaving salary for expensive quarterbacks and skill players. 20:00
Auburn Running Backs FADE Avoid the split backfield because Byrum Brown is also the offense's leading rushing threat. 26:29
PAY UP Worth considering at $9,000 for raw points against Auburn, with cheap running backs making the salary easier to fit. 26:48
ONE-OFF A preferred standalone spend when salary permits against an Auburn defense that has not been imposing. 29:30
Byrum Brown Stack + Two Ole Miss Bring-Backs BRING-BACK In 150-lineup builds, consider pairing Brown with an Auburn receiver and bringing back two Ole Miss players for a back-and-forth game. 30:47
CORE The first click at $4,900 with Kewan Lacy out; favored game script and expected volume make him preferable to similarly priced Ahmad Miller. 31:14
Trinidad Chambliss + Makhi Frazier IN PLAY The quarterback-running back pairing is viable together, and Chambliss does not require an additional receiver. 32:05
ONE-OFF A standalone salary-saving receiver whose downfield opportunities can pay off on a small number of catches. 38:06
Split assessment: his apparent lead role drew interest, but the crowded backfield and stronger cheap running backs raised ceiling concerns. 38:26
Gunner Stockton + Jadan Baugh LEVERAGE A sneaky high-stakes, smaller-field pairing with Baugh expected below five percent ownership and enough value elsewhere to afford him. 39:41
Jake Fette / Mikey Keene FADE No interest in Arizona State's quarterback regardless of which player starts against BYU. 43:13
FADE Out at the increased salary because the BYU matchup and expected game flow do not support repeating the previous game's rushing volume. 43:13
ONE-OFF One of the top receiver plays and a preferred standalone BYU piece because the offense manufactures opportunities for him in several ways. 45:27
ONE-OFF A standalone BYU option after taking most of the snaps, with a favorable rushing script but some uncertainty from Preston Rex remaining involved. 45:27
Tentative interest only if Isaiah Marshall sits; the matchup is uncomfortable and pairing him with a receiver was explicitly rejected. 52:02
ONE-OFF Playable independently as TCU's apparent leading receiver, although the increased salaries drew less enthusiasm for cash builds. 52:52
Jaden Craig Double Stack IN PLAY Tournament interest in Craig with two pass catchers remains despite higher prices; secondary receivers can still siphon production. 53:14
Split interest: his ceiling was acknowledged, but the expensive salary and concerns about Josh Hoover's health and passing volume deterred another assessment. 58:37
The $6,700 salary and ceiling retained some interest, while concerns about Indiana's quarterback and reduced passing left the game broadly unappealing. 59:54
FADE Done with the Oregon quarterback experiment after disappointing performances following the USC game. 1:03:26
ONE-OFF The preferred Oregon receiving piece because he is expected to remain on the field more consistently than the rotating wide receivers. 1:04:18
OVERWEIGHT Explicitly taking more than the field because Northwestern's explosive rushing attack is being overlooked after Oregon struggled against Illinois on the ground. 1:05:49
OVERWEIGHT Explicit tournament overweight alongside Caleb Komolafe, targeting explosive rushing upside against an Oregon defense that just allowed substantial rushing production. 1:05:49
PAY UP A preferred expensive quarterback funded by cheap running backs, with a strong rushing floor and no need to force a receiver pairing. 1:12:23
FADE The final tournament assessment was no exposure at $7,900 with Gi'Bran Payne returning, although earlier discussion acknowledged his explosive upside. 1:14:18
Devon Dampier + Noah Bennee IN PLAY Consider this tournament pairing only if Hunter Andrews is out; his expected return otherwise reduces interest in Bennee. 1:14:43
The $6,000 salary and Virginia's depleted offense created tentative interest, but another assessment wanted no part of the team. 1:16:15
VALUE The $7,800 salary looks too low for his recent production, dual-threat role and favorable matchup against Virginia. 1:17:57
PAY UP Worth $7,300 for legitimate 40-point upside, with little concern that his limited previous workload reflected an ongoing injury problem. 1:18:20
Wake Forest Running Backs FADE Avoid the frustrating backfield when other running backs offer clearer paths to production. 1:19:46
Gio Lopez Double Stack with Jack Foley IN PLAY Use Jack Foley specifically in tournament double stacks with Lopez, while Lopez also remains viable without a receiver. 1:20:12
VALUE Still too cheap at $6,900, with South Carolina more vulnerable through the passing game than on the ground. 1:22:31
PAY UP The strongest receiver endorsement regardless of salary, combining Oklahoma's concentrated passing production with South Carolina's recurring vulnerability to slot receivers. 1:25:08

SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate▶ Said at 2:49 ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. A quarterback selected without his pass catchers can also function as a standalone play. Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off▶ Said at 7:45 Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total▶ Said at 17:29 Game StackIn college football, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. A high total with a lopsided spread can turn into a blowout where only one side keeps scoring.Read the full definition of Game Stack▶ Said at 20:00 Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Read the full definition of Cash Game▶ Said at 21:30 GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP▶ Said at 23:07 Fantasy PointsFantasy points are the score a DFS contest assigns to a player or team defense by converting real sports statistics and results through its scoring rules. Separate repeatable opportunities from a few unusually productive games.Read the full definition of Fantasy Points▶ Said at 25:13 Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. In football, teams protecting a lead often run more, while teams chasing a deficit often pass more. Before locking a lineup, ask who keeps playing if your expected script reverses. Check passing-down roles and backup rotations instead of assuming a team's leading rusher handles every situation.Read the full definition of Game Script▶ Said at 27:05 ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value▶ Said at 28:39 CorrelationCorrelation describes how two players' fantasy scores move together. Positively correlated players tend to have big games at the same time, usually because one player's success directly adds points for the other. When you build a tournament lineup, ask which of your players need the same thing to happen. The more of them that do, the higher your lineup's ceiling.Read the full definition of Correlation▶ Said at 34:56 CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. Clear for lift off. Week nine and feeling fine. What's going on, college football DFS fans? Welcome to the Week nine Ship It Nation college football breakdown show. I'm Bill. Put a dollar in front of it. You'll find me on Twitter slash X. Joining me is Kenny, a.k.a. Hamhawk, forty one. Kenny, it's been. A quick season, honestly. How are you feeling about Week nine? You know, I was just thinking that this Week.

1:05

I was like, I can't believe it's like really just, I mean, what, one more month of regular season college football. So it's definitely gone quick. I definitely don't remember a year where it's felt like the number one team can lose to like the thirty-fifth best team in the country. I don't know if that's like a product of the playoff over the years, but it's definitely made for some really entertaining games and some pretty sweet upsets.

1:29

Hopefully see some more chaos this weekend. What a seamless transition into our first comment. Sky, you ma row the boat, go gophers. Twenty and a half points. Come on, come on. Indiana can't move the ball. Their quarterbacks dinged up. The running backs can't seem to figure out who wants to lead the pack. We'll get into that later. That's I'm not going to be that confident when we get to the actual game breakdown. But yeah, Voss, anytime touchdown. Belky, I know you had Pritchett and Voss.

1:59

For any time touchdown parlay, Pritchett got his and Voss down at the two-yard line on real stuff. But that's, I mean, that's how the cookie crumbles in both betting and college football DFS, really any DFS and sports betting. But we will get started. Oh, I am, I didn't even have the right page up. There we go. Here we go.

2:24

Got to talk a little bit about the nation because it has been just a fun ride, not just college football, but NFL, NBA season starting off hot. We got NHL season starting off hot with some new features. We just had the Sports Equinox, which was awesome when the World Series was still going on. Congrats to the Brewers and Brewers fans out there watching our season. Silly little college football show. But if you want to join the nation, get involved.

2:49

You can get all eight of our main sports in the starter package. This is our best value, one hundred nineteen a month. That gets you everything gets you into the Discord. It gets you Sabre. The Discord, I said core eight sports, the Discord has more than that, there are discussions beyond just the content we provide, and that can be just as valuable as the stone, the stone to point out our Slate Station, all of these things that you will experience if you join Ship It Nation.

3:15

And honestly, if you're just into one sport, or if you just want a little bit of a trial, pick your favorite sport. Say it's college football. Twelve dollars a month if you want everything without Sabresim. An extra seven dollars a month if you do want Sabresim. I mean, that's like, what, seventy cents a day or something like that? I'm not a math expert. That is one thing that our fearless leader, D-Gen, used to do very, very well.

3:45

He could do quick math in his head so fast. I'm not quite to that point. But either way, it's cheap. It's essentially a trial price to try out one of these sports. Now that it's mid-season, the prices have been docked a little bit. Try us out. That's all I got to say. Once you experience it, my words will come to fruition. Don't let me explain it. Experience it for yourself. But we can get started. And it looks like All right. Got to do this again.

4:14

Here we go. Ian, what's going on? Just in time to take it down games. All right. Perfect. Let's go. We got some clarity. We got some starters announced. We got an exciting Week of Halloween action. Oh, yeah. I forgot about how spooky this Saturday could be. I almost wore my costume on here, but I didn't want to scare away our audience. And it's pretty aggressive. So, but let's get into this. Arizona at Texas Tech.

4:41

Texas Tech had a spooky game last Week, getting upset by Cincinnati. But this game has college football implications, right? Arizona's kind of been on a tear. Texas Tech is obviously still in the upper bracket. Portion of the big twelve. Noah Fafita, $8,300 fair price. I think we kind of know who he is, what he's capable of. We know he has the ceiling in any matchup.

5:03

Riscano and Craig might have a little bit more upside this Week at the running back position because Antoine Roberts is questionable. And I know a lot of his run had been in garbage time. But if you condense running back rooms, it just means more for the guys who play. That's I mean, it's as simple as that. The wide receiver room is what's interesting for Arizona because we are expecting Richardson and Hunter to be back. They are probable. What does that do to Mizell?

5:29

Mizell's kind of been on a tear, but he's also been the lead guy. Is he still the lead guy? Are they going to ease these guys back in? What does it do to Brandon Phelps? Does he even see the field anymore? These are questions that we're going to have to kind of answer on our own in terms of building our lineups. And then what do we do with Will Hammond? I mean, I'm convinced the guy just kind of sucks.

5:49

And now a report coming out this morning that Castellanos is going to be active and he could see more time on the field. He's probably going to see more snaps, even at sub $6,000. That's a really tough situation to trust. If there's going to be two guys out there running back room, same sort of deal. Jacoby Williams has been the guy, but Cam Dickey is expected back as well. $4,500. It's a little bit of sticker shock. Is that a chance you're willing to take?

6:13

And then the wide receiver room. I mean, it's. At this point, it's fairly straightforward. Kenny Johnson is the alpha. There's no reason he should be less than $5,000. I mean, Terrence Carter out there. Eakin, it's really just Johnson or nothing for me. Kenny, we'll start with you. How are you seeing this Arizona Texas Tech game? This one with the total, with the competitiveness, this could be shaping up for a really early good DFS game.

6:37

Yeah, I usually don't bet spreads, but I really like Arizona in this game. They've been rolling. Their defense is playing really well, even though they don't have a very good PFF grade. I guess kind of starting with their side, this Week we're not going to see a real great ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. They describe an expected result, not a guaranteed score.Check the projection's update time and assumed role before using it. If news is already included, adjusting again for that same news can double-count its effect.Read the full definition of Projections on Noah Fafita. I almost like, now that we have these options back and there's kind of a plethora, I like doubling Fafita this Week. Yeah.

7:04

Guess my take on the receiver room I think maizel has really carved out his role um he's been scoring touchdowns left and right um that's kind of the same thing spivey did and spivey's been out for the year and if you kind of look when spivey went out is kind of really when maizel started playing the most granted that was kind of coincided with this Richardson and hunter um but if you look at like position wise I feel like Richardson's really exclusively a slot receiver um Phelps and Caleb Smith have kind of been mixing in there since Richardson's been out but I think like I I guess I feel pretty confident Richardson's gonna have a pretty solid role as a slot receiver um hunter is the cheapest

7:45

One I guess him and Phelps I'm not as confident in him I could see him and Phelps kind of rotating but these top two guys I feel pretty confident in their roles I think my zel is still fine at $6,400 it's just gonna probably take some OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. 8:04

I think they have a good defense, but it's one of those defenses that's like they force a lot of turnovers, create points that way. They can be gassed on explosive plays. We saw Cole Tabb do that multiple times last Week.

8:18

And like you know Bill you talked about robert's kind of being using garbage time if he's out that's even more roles like a bigger role for these two it's hard to figure out which one that's going to be but I don't mind taking some shots on these just after seeing how explosive cold tab was last Week um The tech side for me, I guess I can just sum it up real quick. It's pretty much just Kenny Johnson. I don't trust.

8:43

I don't know where these touchdowns are going to go. Dickie's going to muddle things up. And I'm not even going to take a shot on Dickie. I think Joyner's almost carved out a role, too, like this. And Williams at $8,200. If he was $6,200, I'd have some interest. But he's still priced as if Dickie is out. And I don't think I think we're going to see Dickie this Week. I don't know how big his role will be.

9:05

But yeah, it's just pretty much Kenny Johnson. I'm not going to mess with these quarterbacks. And I mean, a big issue for Texas Tech is just their offense can just fall flat on their face if they can't run the ball. And Will Heyman's forced to do things. And so I really like the Arizona on the road three and a half this Week too, just as a side note. But that's really all it is for me. The Arizona side, I love Texas Tech.

9:28

I'm not too wild about it. Yeah, just follow up on a couple of those things. You talked about Texas Tech's defense. You know, it's not the defense of last year. I think a lot of it's kind of still assuming that they still have the same kind of guys. Jacob Rodriguez is not there. David Bailey is not there. It's a different kind of not the shutdown Tech defense that we had. And you mentioned the muddled running back room of Texas Tech.

9:52

Well, if Cassianos does end up playing here this Week, he's going to just take more away from the running opportunities, maybe some rushing touchdowns in there just with his dual threat ability. You know, guys coming back kind of spreads everything out. I do think I agree with you, Fafita, being that kind of in that doubles hard to single stack him, except if you're going for value.

10:16

You know, Richardson could be, he was the number one guy before he got hurt, coming back in at a pretty affordable price in a game that should be back and forth is a pretty decent deal. And Bill mentioned Kenny Johnson as well as the clear number one. I will say that Cody Campbell has been very vocal in Texas Tech. This is their first regular season loss in a while.

10:34

And I don't think he likes them losing, considering how much money he spent on this roster. He's that big billionaire donor for Texas Tech. And he's been very vocal. So I would not be surprised to see a quarterback change. I think it's not a coincidence that this is coming out right after he says – he expects better from them. Coach has put on watch.

10:53

It could be a little bit of a kind of like bringing everyone together for Texas Tech because they still got everything in front of them and kind of all hands on deck. Nobody is safe right now, especially when the guy right now, the checks is calling everybody out.

11:09

So one of the better games of the day, one of the bigger games, this could go a long way in determining who's going to end up ultimately playing for the Big Twelve title and So this will be a great. Twenty fourteen playoff game. Yeah, and if you're if you're if you're coming off of a playoff season and you lose to Cincinnati, that's going to get people talking. So that's that's a good point.

11:34

Before we transition to the next game, just a subtle, shameless reminder to hit that like button that that helps us more than, you know, on YouTube. We love doing the show and we love providing it for free and then get the check on. Let us know. Any questions you have, who you like, comment game by game, go right along with us. And if you're listening in podcast form, we'll take those five-star reviews as well or positive reviews.

12:00

Honestly, I don't even know exactly what each platform does now. Is it stars? Is it numbers? Is it just yay or nay? But either way, make it the good one. Make it the best one. We'll get into SMU at Syracuse. I don't know if you've seen Johnny Flynt watching over my shoulder, a very important Syracuse legend. SMU, huge favorite on the road. Kevin Jennings, $8,500.

12:23

Another quarterback that I don't know that we need to talk much about on a team that's projected to score thirty five points. The upside is definitely there, especially with the way SMU's offense works in the pass. He spreads the ball out and can get a little bit done with his legs. So whether you stack or not, I don't know that it's necessary just because of the way the offense runs the running back, though. This is.

12:46

This is a workhorse situation that we typically look for in that cash Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Read the full definition of Single-Entry. A guy we know is going to touch the ball probably twenty plus times in Kendrick Raphael. I will say Christian Rhodes didn't get his first carry until the second or third quarter last Week. Typically you think, oh, they won by what, twenty nine or thirty nine points. It was a blowout. That's why Rhodes got run. No, Cal was up twenty to seventeen at halftime.

13:11

SMU just won the second half forty two nothing. So Rhodes was involved while the game was still competitive. But it's really Rafael here. I know they both scored multiple touchdowns last Week. But Rafael's an alpha. And in this matchup, our grading system has Syracuse as a D-plus run defense. So this is where we're licking our chops a little bit. And then, like I said, wide receivers, ball gets spread out. Yamir Knight has forty-seven targets this season.

13:36

After that, you have three guys with twenty-six to thirty-two. Honestly, the only two receivers that have scored touchdowns since Week four are Jalen Hale and Randy Pittman. So that tells you everything you need to know about SMU. Syracuse, this is a fun side to talk about because Steve Angelli is questionable. Amari Odom's already out. The kid from UTEP slash Boise Staten slash USC slash what Malachi. Is it Malachi? I can't even remember his last name.

14:02

There's a lot of Malachis in college football this year. Malachi Nelson. Nelson. I was going to say Coleman. I knew that was a wide receiver. Nelson. Anyway, he's out too, so who's left? If Angele can't go, it's Danny Votter, quarterback with a running back number. I think he's number twenty-one, so that's kind of neat. But he's six, three, two, twenty, so we're not looking at him as a running back. Ahmad Miller, $4,700. Thirty carries against North Carolina at this price with this volume.

14:31

I don't care who the opponent is at $4,700. You know, Hill and Johnson did get involved, but not enough to scare me off of Ahmad Miller. And then the wide receiver room, Amari Hatcher been on a tear, but he's just really expensive. And then you have Calvin Russell, five star freshman, has been injured to start the season, was kind of just a powder keg waiting to explode. And he did. He's finally healthy. He's getting looks. He had a monster game.

14:58

He even had heavy Target ShareIn college football, target share is the same percentage of team targets, but it is often far more concentrated: many offenses send a third or more of their throws to one receiver or tight end.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share in the game before his monster game, and he's still only $4,400. You know, Darius Johnson, Boscia, these guys are involved and on the field enough that you can take shots on them. But I mean, Calvin Russell is looking real juicy at $4,400. So even in an underdog team, they are projected to score twenty four points. This game seems littered with plays, Ian. Yeah, I mean, you mentioned Calvin Russell start there.

15:23

You got Johnny Flynt looking over your shoulder, a basketball legend. Calvin Russell looking to do the same thing. He is a basketball player as well. He's playing two sports this year. But he's a five-star. He's the most talented guy on that offense by far. And he's definitely a guy that you want to target. Now, I will say, Angeli makes a big difference. If he's in, all these guys are in play for me at Syracuse. Russell for sure in cash and single entry.

15:51

Miller, same thing. And Jolly even would be as well. If he's out, it really paused me. Now the running back situation, not as much because he's still going to get the volume, but with Russell and Hatcher, if they're not going to be able to have someone to get them the ball, that's going to be a really scary proposition. I'm going to love me some Calvin Russell this weekend. On the SMU side, you mentioned Rafael, not much more to say.

16:19

Maybe the top running back player on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate, but pure volume, salary, just a plug-and-play guy right there, SMU. There's a massive – I mean, they still have a run to the ACC title game and with playoffs on their mind. So they really have to take each Week by Week and put up some numbers to make sure that even if they lose in that ACC title game, if they get there, they should be worthy of a trip.

16:43

So they really got to put the pedal down. The receivers you mentioned, not a lot of touchdown volume now. We do anticipate that to kind of flatten out, even out. Jennings will throw the ball. You know, it's definitely going to be a really good environment indoors. And, you know, Smith and Knight, they're just not producing touchdowns, but they're still really affordable, that they can be played as One-OffIn CFB DFS, a one-off is a player you roster outside a stack, often a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. A quarterback selected without his pass catchers can also function as a standalone play. Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off. They're going to get target share. They're going to get six to eight targets.

17:10

Jennings is going to throw the ball. If you're overstacking this side, totally cool. I'm sure Hancock will talk about that a little bit. But from my perspective, if you're looking for a one-spot villain, any one of those receivers is viable, Pittman, Smith. Night, there's not really a separating point kind of just depends on your salary and what you're feeling that day.

17:29

But they're all are playable in one offs in stacking in single entry in cash, you know, just with one of the higher Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total of the day, one of the more reliable offenses, and really one of the better quarterbacks on the slate that we can depend on with targets. Definitely in play. Besides Roth bail.

17:49

Yeah um this is probably my favorite game on the slate like I I mean there's a ton of great prices and stuff but just the environment both these teams super high pace um I guess for me, I hope I don't reiterate too much, but I guess for me on the SMU side, it does start with Raphael. I think he has a little bit of a chance to moonwalk because there's an abundance of running backs under $5,000 this Week.

18:16

And there's really no value quarterbacks besides the one on the other side of the ball here. But Raphael is really where I'm planting my flag, this SMU side. I'll have some Jennings and some of these receivers. I don't mind these top twos one-offs, which you guys kind of alluded to, but It's really Raphael for me with SMU. He's probably going to be my OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. 18:36

So the Syracuse side, like I said, there's really no pay down quarterbacks and jelly questionable on the report we talked about, but I was just reading this news article. So two weeks ago he got an injection and he was having, they don't know if it's complications from his Achilles injury last year that he's having this injury or whatnot, or if it's something similar. If it's like maybe he came back too quick. But it's quoted him saying that he got the injection.

19:05

This is after the North Carolina game. I feel way better. I feel like the old me in a sense. I can run, make plays. I just feel like myself again. And then it says, Angeli said Tuesday he came out of last Week's games with no setbacks. So what I'm kind of gathering is, I think he's going to go. He's just going to kind of be questionable because he's maintaining that injury. I really like that what he said about like he's feeling good.

19:28

That being said, there is always that, you know, he's probably got a higher than normal chance of being re injured.

19:36

Um and the thing like if smu is kicking the living out of syracuse which is within the range of outcomes I mean syracuse has been better and jelly's not going to get benched for like a freshman or a different option like he should get a full run in garbage time the more and more I think about it he's I really like angeli this Week he's got great options to pair with um and Russell and Hatcher um You know, you guys talked about Russell.

20:00

I also really like Batchier this Week, too. He doesn't play as much, but he's super involved in the receiving game when he's out there. He's a really good spot, like in a Game StackIn college football, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. And I don't think you need – Angelli's so cheap, I don't think you need to force a double stack. Like him and Russell is a great single-entry start or cast start this Week, I feel like.

20:22

And that gives you a lot of salary flexibility to Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up for a receiver and a running back or get a Chambliss or a Bear or Dampier on the other side. But, yeah, the more I think about it, it's the SMU, the Raphael, and the building these Syracuse passing sacks around it. Ahmad Miller, I love the thirty carries last Week. Tylee Kill has been really good, too.

20:44

I don't know if Syracuse is going to be as good a game flow as last Week where they can just run the ball like that. I'll still have some Miller though. I can't overlook that value, but I'm not as confident in him as some other running backs in that range on this as we'll get to. But yeah, hopefully didn't spend a ton of time on this game or too much time, but it's probably worth it because this is a really interesting spot.

21:05

Yeah, this is one of those games that you talk a little bit more about and you can tell just by the total, just by the prices that it's going to capture a lot more attention. And I do have to pause the show because we have dad jokes in the side chat. We got a nickname, the Syracuse quarterback, Peanut Butler. Peanut Butler Angeli. Credit Ian. Credit Iron Robbins with that one. I got to credit Tim Murray for that one. I heard that one and another one.

21:30

Okay. Peanut Butler Angeli is one of the best nicknames I've heard for a guy. And not to mention with Steve Angeli's injury history now, maybe he's a little soft. So is Peanut Butler. It's got double meaning to it. It's great. And I'm going to throw this up there just because this feels like a very single entry Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. 21:57

Two of my favorite teams in college football to talk about, Wisconsin at Iowa, neither of which has their rival trophy right now, the Axe or Floyd of Rosedale in the rivalry with Minnesota. And that's really all I need to say about this game. I mean, Colson Joseph has some upside for Wisconsin. Sama Led the way last game, but Dupree is expected back or at least has a chance to come back.

22:22

And I don't know that you play any of these wide receivers against this Iowa defense. On the Iowa side, Hank Brown is back. I don't care. Moulton is done for the season, which does have some impact because these running backs are cheap. So maybe if you're jonesing for a piece of this game, you look at Phillips. I know Braden Jackson was involved. Xavier Williams was involved.

22:45

Nathan McNeil hardly played, but when he did, they gave him like he had a ton of targets just in a limited amount of time in terms of percentage. Wide receivers are interesting for Iowa just because I like Reese Vanders. He's been super consistent lately. Obviously Diaz and Vanami, we know what their upside is. And Diaz's price is finally back to where we want it. But that's going to shut me up on this game, Kenny.

23:07

It feels like more of a GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Payouts are steep: a small group at the top wins most of the money. Before you enter a tournament lineup, ask how it finishes first, not just how it cashes. If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Read the full definition of GPP game anyway. Yeah, I don't even think it's a GPP game, to be honest with you. You know, as much of a Colson Joseph homer as I am, I don't think – there's just other spots on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. I don't think I need to take that risk. But don't get me wrong, I played my fair share of Joseph and Malachi Coleman this Week.

23:28

But I think – I mean, I will say if I had to pick a spot to attack Iowa, it would be through the passing game. But when you're throwing fifteen passes a game like Wisconsin's been doing, it's just – Just know I've already wasted too much time with Wisconsin. Iowa, the running back situation is interesting.

23:45

LJ Phillips was like kind of supposed to be the backup this year with Malton, maybe almost like a one B, but he's kind of been banged up all year. He was looking Likely to be on the report this Week. He got hurt last Week and he's not.

23:59

I guess my take on this like if I had to pick one that I think would emerge it would be Phillips but I don't I don't necessarily think he's gonna get enough volume and Wisconsin has a really good defense like they I mean they have a better offense than they've had which isn't that big of a step up but their defense is playing at a really high level I mean they shut down USC last Week and It's not like Iowa's – well, last Week I'm like, I think Iowa has a good offense.

24:25

And they scored. Anyways, so I – It's tough when you're playing a defense that stout. You're not wrong. All this being said, these top three options for Iowa, like Vandersea three out of the last four games has had sixty yards and a touchdown. The one game he didn't was against Ohio Staten. Like it's hard to ignore that. Like all these prices is fine with this Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. 24:50

Like they could get there on five for fifty and a touchdown and probably be a decent like, gosh, that doesn't even sound good for GP with all the value this Week. But if I'm playing anything, it's one of these three guys from this game, I think. I'm always a bottomy homer, so that's to be expected. But, yeah, I'm sure you don't have a ton to add, Ian. No, what was the score of that Iowa-Minnesota game? I think it's thirteen to ten.

25:13

Thirteen to ten. Anybody playable from that game? I don't think so. We got better. They missed Diaz on a couple long shots that he was open and just got missed on. Like I said, I have some little tiny interest in these guys. It wouldn't shock me if one of them got twenty-two Fantasy PointsFantasy points are the score a DFS contest assigns to a player or team defense by converting real sports statistics and results through its scoring rules. Your lineup's total determines your contest ranking. Before trusting an average, check which games it includes and whether the player's role has changed. Separate repeatable opportunities from a few unusually productive games.Read the full definition of Fantasy Points. It's an important game for the Big Ten. Big picture. It really is. Playoff implications. What's that?

25:39

Playoff implications, as weird as it is to say with these two teams at this point in the season. Honestly, it is. It'd be really good, again, for that twenty fourteen playoff. These this Week would be a fantastic, but it's important game, but not for fantasy. Sweet. We don't need to talk about it anymore. I'm on board with that game that we will probably talk about a bit at Auburn at Ole Miss. Another high total game, decently big spread, but points on both sides either way.

26:05

And that's because of the lack of defense. Byron Brown, they just they're not going to price them up, I guess, like $7,500 against Ole Miss. I'll take that all day. I just, I mean, he's their lead running back just as he was a USF last year. I'm baffled as to why they, they don't put them in the eight Ks, but here we are on the other end, running backs, tough to touch with Brown running the ball better than any one of those.

26:29

And there's a split going on too, that I just don't want a part of wide receivers, kind of the same story as it's been all year. Singleton and Nimrod are your guys. If you think they're going to throw Neptune is cheap and could also throw a touchdown. And I mean, that's, That's one of those like close to min price receivers if it really fills out your lineup the rest of the way.

26:48

On the Ole Miss side, Chambliss in a great spot, even at $9,000 with the value at running back this Week. I think it's a little bit easier to fit him in because we I mean, there's value with wide receiver. It seems like almost every single Week to begin with. Now to have it at running back to these expensive quarterbacks are going to be a little bit easier to fit in.

27:05

And the raw points that Chambliss offers is just something to be considered on a Week to Week basis. One of those value running backs. Is on his team, Makai Frazier, just in a stellar spot with no Lacey. I mean, he scored double-digit DFS points in multiple games, even when he's not the lead back. Now he is the lead back in a game where they're favored by double digits at home. It just sets up like the Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. In football, teams protecting a lead often run more, while teams chasing a deficit often pass more. Before locking a lineup, ask who keeps playing if your expected script reverses. Check passing-down roles and backup rotations instead of assuming a team's leading rusher handles every situation.Read the full definition of Game Script is setting up to be a run-heavy game.

27:31

And then there's upside with, I think, all of these pass catchers. Deuce at $1,000, again, expensive, but for good reason, and not impossible to afford this Week, even in a chamberless stack if you want to take that route. And then Odom and Fields, also good plays. Like any of these receivers in the $4,000 range, I think are viable because I mean, you can stack them with Chambliss. I don't think you need to stack Chambliss.

27:54

Ian, there's some goodness in the cash Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament. In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Read the full definition of Single-Entry streets in this game too, it looks like. Yeah, I mean, you mentioned all the guys, any of those Ole Miss guys are playable. Auburn, you know, Brown's running a little bit more. I don't know how effective he is, but he certainly touched the ball a lot more. But I just want to like take a little bit of peek. So we have a $4,000 value running back here in Frazier.

28:15

We have a $4,000 value running back in the Syracuse game with Miller. Very similar in pricing. But here's the difference between my process between looking at these two guys comparatively because they're about in the same salary range. Frazier is sitting here with a Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. 28:39

He's still projected to volume hog plus as a favorite. If you go to Miller where we have questions at the quarterback, ten double digit underdog, ten point less, twenty point team total. When I compare both of those guys as ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value plays where we look and they might seem similar, I would lean heavily, heavily, heavily to Frazier as making him one of my favorite running back plays on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. 29:03

Just for those reasons, you got a twelve-point favorite, Ole Miss looking to bounce back in a big spot, trying to really keep their playoff hopes alive. You know, they just got everything out in front of them. Just the offenses could explode like we've seen them. They've been run by their offense, and Frazier will be a big part of that. Whether or not he is the focal point at four nine, he doesn't have to be the focal point. He just has to be there.

29:30

And he said, on the other side, Odom, Deuce, I would love to play Deuce in a One-OffIn CFB DFS, a one-off is a player you roster outside a stack, often a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. A quarterback selected without his pass catchers can also function as a standalone play. Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off if I have salary. I would love to play Chambliss if I have the salary for it. Both are really, really good plays, really, really good spots against Auburn. Auburn's defense hasn't been anything special. I know Ole Miss' defense hasn't been great either. They've been getting better.

29:49

Arch kind of put up some points last Week, but I think that was more a product of Texas as it was a product of Ole Miss. I'm just going to be weary of the Auburn side outside of Byron Brown as far as in my single-entry hand builds, really. But Ole Miss side, Frazier is such a smash play for me, such a smash spot. With the value, with the volume.

30:12

And I would love to find a way to, I don't mind playing three Ole Miss guys in the same lineup if it fits that way. Yeah, this Ole Miss defense, I can't figure out. Maybe it's like just a home road thing because they absolutely shut down Missouri and Missouri's offense was flying at the time. So I don't know. And then think about like Texas' offense coming into that game. It's a weird, weird deal.

30:35

You know, Byron Brown finally had his, like, I think his worst game of the season last Week. He's fine. Ole Miss has the worst pass coverage grade on PFF on the slate. I'm not fully sold on that.

30:47

Like these pass kits are still feel too expensive that being said if this is going to go back and forth I don't mind um byron pairing byram in a hundred and fifty build running it back with two old miss guys if I'm stacking byram um yeah I mean mckay fraser like you know I guess not a ton to add like I mean last Week he even caught five passes he's my he's He might be my favorite play of the season so far from a value perspective.

31:14

I mean, I guess I take that back to him. Why? Never mind. Anyways, like I mean, he had like that was insane. I don't know if I've ever seen a ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. But anyways, yeah, Frazier is like the very first click. He's the first Person I noticed this Week.

31:33

Um trinidad you guys touched on him pretty well I guess odom odom's a tight end he had eleven targets last Week um I just I feel the best about him just because he's out there the most and they definitely I mean I'm afraid not afraid to throw the ball to him rather than taking a shot on any of these receivers that could pop off at any time don't get me wrong but I think it's just these top two old missed pass catchers and I'm really zeroing in on Frazier and chambliss like it's um Yeah, not a ton to add, but an elite spot for Ole Miss.

32:05

And you said it, Frazier and Chambliss is fine to just play those two guys. Chambliss, it's okay to play those guys together. Salary allows you to. And Chambliss isn't a guy that you necessarily have to stack. Yeah, maybe he does have his favorite targets in Odom and Deuce, but it doesn't mean you have to necessarily play him because he had touchdown passes to Fields, to Ray, to Odom.

32:25

Chambliss is one of the best quarterbacks in the country, and you can play them by himself or with Frazier, especially with the salary this Week. Yeah, for sure. There's a lot of different ways you can stack this Ole Miss side. And one of the situations where the quarterback running back stack is definitely on the table. Uh, moving on to Florida, I guess we're just going to have thirty four point favorites with a double digit spread. Uh, Florida, Georgia, this is a neutral site, not Jacksonville.

32:51

They're playing musical stadiums. They're in Atlanta this year, which is a bit of a change for this game. Uh, Ian, you're the resident Gator guy, so I'll make this quick and just defer to you on some of this stuff. We know Philo was announced as a starter. Both guys were listed as questionable, and they're both cheap. It's a tough matchup, but, I mean, Philo feels better in this game just from experience. Jaden Baugh, expensive but not as expensive as he normally is.

33:15

Again, tough matchup, but he should be healthier coming off a bye. And speaking of healthier, outside of Bailey Stockton, this wide receiver room is healthy. They're studding. Vernell Brown is back. In all likelihood, Dallas Wilson, Eric Singleton, obviously still capable of ceilings. And then on the Georgia side, Gunnar Stockton, I mean, quarterbacks against Florida, that catches my eye every single time. Bowens has already been ruled out.

33:39

Nate Frazier, I mean, he has been on the field, but that's about the extent of it for the most part recently. And then these wide receivers, so I should say Dwight Phillips feels like a good spot at . If Frazier is just going to go out and run cardio. And I mean, even Bo Walker, heck, $4,100. I don't know that we need to get there this Week, but I like him more than Nate Frazier, at least right now.

34:03

And then Bainbridge at $3,700. He got he kind of just feels like one of those guys that is steadily increasing Week after Week. And he's going to be one of those high end consistent receivers at some point. But there's always the risk of Georgia being Georgia and spreading the ball out. But, you know, at $3,700, I'm willing to take that shot a little more often. And I know a tough ask. They'd upset Texas. Now they're going to play Georgia.

34:32

It could happen or it could. It could happen. There's certainly a lot of things working for Florida this Week. A lot of positives you mentioned. Billy Stockton list is doubtful. I'm still not convinced he's not going to play the way that he's been in and out of lineups all season. He's he's played through a lot. But this is the first time that their skill room is going to be playing as they hoped in a full game.

34:56

Vernell Brown III, Dallas Wilson, Eric Sensen, who they brought in late, are going to be starting at receiver for the first time this year altogether. Now, the offense kind of sputtered when Vernell Brown got hurt, and I do think there is a CorrelationCorrelation describes how two players' fantasy scores move together. Positively correlated players tend to have big games at the same time, usually because one player's success directly adds points for the other. When you build a tournament lineup, ask which of your players need the same thing to happen. The more of them that do, the higher your lineup's ceiling.Read the full definition of Correlation there. Vernell Brown is a guy who stretches the field horizontally and vertically. He's a dynamic player. He's shifty. He's a guy you have to account for on the swing, on the underneath, on a deep shot.

35:20

He's just a very dynamic player, and he does open up so many options for the field. He creates lanes, and when ball was running, it was when Vernell Brown was in creating a lot. I think they work really well hand-in-hand together because when he's out, You can kind of focus in a little bit more on the receivers and stack the box a little bit against ball.

35:41

And I think that was happening a lot when they were in the last few weeks when they're running back against South Carolina and Missouri. But Vernell Brown is back. Dallas Wilson is back. Georgia plays a lot of me in defense because they blitz a lot from the middle. Eric Singleton with his speed, they just kept throwing the ball deep to him down the field last Week or two weeks ago against Texas. He was open, just got to try to hit him.

36:07

So there's a lot more field traction horizontally and vertically going on with these receivers in. And I think that's going to open up a little bit more for Jayden Baugh. Now at eight five, Jayden Baugh is still kind of priced, expensive, not really playable. I don't really think any of these guys are playable. Maybe Eric Singleton in a GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. He catches one of those ADR touchdown passes, it's going to get his value at three, six, uh, quarterback situation.

36:30

So it sounded like file was practicing all Week. Uh, Tramiel Jones was a quarterback when they beat Joe, when they beat Texas follows a Georgia guy, uh, He is the all-time leading passer in Georgia high school history. Gene Balls from Atlanta going back home to this game. I know this game means a lot personally for these guys as well. It's Atlanta this year, Tampa next year, and then Jacksonville Stadium will be renovated after next year. We'll be back in Jacksonville.

36:55

But I think it's only the third time since that this game is not being played in Jacksonville. So it is kind of a crazy thing to think about that they're playing a different location. Yeah, we'll see. Maybe Jones is hurting more than he showed. Maybe Philo's a little bit healthier. Maybe this gives him a little bit to go back and forth. But Florida's just way overpriced for the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. 37:26

Stockton, like you said, quarterbacks against Florida have been doing really well. Their back end is their weakness. Stockton's a really good play. You know, he's got the dual threat. I also like Phillips, too. Not that we need the value this Week at running back, but I think Phillips is in a really good spot to maintain value. He definitely looks like the number one guy there. And then the receiver room, they're still underpriced. They're still Georgia receivers.

37:47

Nobody really has names on it, but I do like Dandridge. I mean, this guy's on the field. He's under $3,000. He gets targets. He gets cardings deep down the field. You only got to catch one or two of those for you to hit value. He seems consistent. Lucky seems to be a consistent target guy at tight end. Georgia tight ends has always been a thing.

38:06

Taylor's definitely the number one guy, the most talented guy, but he's not the, his targets, he doesn't have a very good average depth of target. That's going to pop in fantasy. That's more Dan. So I wouldn't mind damage in a One-OffIn CFB DFS, a one-off is a player you roster outside a stack, often a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. I do think he's in that Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. The old gun show is a really good play this Week. I think. Yeah. I just, he can get there a ton of different ways. And like you talked about dangers. I really like him as well. Phillips, I don't know if he has a ceiling because like it's just kind of muddled for me on a different slate.

38:50

Maybe when we haven't had a slate where we've had this much pay down running backs this year. So it's just I don't see him having the ceiling that like this past game might. Yeah, I don't have a ton to add beyond that on Georgia, Florida. I have some interest in Eric Singleton, but I don't know if I want to get there just because we have like the dangers and, you know, the back ease of the world.

39:13

But he'd be the only guy I have interest just because of the prices. But yeah, the more I think about it, Jaden Baugh at $8,500. Like, I think that's a more than fair price. There is three touchdowns are supposed to be scored for Florida. Is this isn't this is this the largest cocktail party? Is that this one? Yes. So everybody's going to be hammered. It's going to be. I am. But yeah, Jaden Baugh, he should be, I would think, sub-five OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. 39:41

You could just do a Gunnar Socht and Jaden Baugh stack, and that's a really nice high-stakes, smaller-field stack that I think is kind of sneaky. And it's totally possible to get to Baugh. There's enough value everywhere that it's worth taking the risk this Week. He hasn't been really playable recently.

39:59

Know the last couple weeks I um because he's been like shoot like damn near but yeah not a ton of interest in this game but you know when you look at the Vegas total it's really not much different from you know the syracuse smu game or this whole miss game would be like another thing that's weird about this Week this is the kickoff to the afternoon games there's four morning games so should have a lot of um options in the afternoon if you need to swap for some reason but yeah that's all I really have for these guys Yeah, it's one of those games that you could see shooting out for sure.

40:32

And both teams are capable of scoring points. And, you know, Georgia seems like a scary defense, but they're not. It's one of those things where, like, in the SEC, it seems like anybody can put points on anybody unless Camario's out. So that's definitely something to look at, too. As we transition to the Arizona Staten-BYU game, you're not late to the party if your very next message is encouraging people to smash the like button. You're instantly forgiven.

40:59

And are you really even late if we haven't gotten to the TCU game yet? I know he's a TCU fan coming in a little bit late. Just in time for your purposes. We got one more game before we get to the Horned Frogs. Arizona Staten at BYU. There is some interesting stuff here because Jake Fette has been taking first team reps at practice. Now, Micah Keefe will start if healthy, according to the coach. But we're getting a $4,500 quarterback.

41:25

Don't love the matchup on the road. Against one of the top teams in the country. Cardi Mac has been getting the workload, but again, it's a matchup thing. And then Reed Harris is just expensive, and he certainly still has upside with how much he gets peppered. But you also have to wonder what is a change at quarterback going to look like. Omarion Miller production has not been going the right direction lately.

41:46

Who has been going the right direction is Derek Eusebio, and definitely a discounted price for somebody who's seen increased time on the field. And on the BYU side, Bear Bachmeier, not going to say much. He's playable in just about any matchup because of what he does, both with his arm and with his legs. Running back's interesting this Week for BYU, though. Sione Moa was back last Week, right back to a full snap count.

42:09

Now, he only had like thirty six yards or something on the ground, but he did score a touchdown. And if he's going to be on the field that much at $5,100, you're talking about another value running back, heavy favorite. The run script seems to be there on paper. Preston Rex still involved and he was super effective when he was on the field.

42:27

So, you know, the split might concern a little bit, but Moa feels like he's in a great spot if he's going to get that snap count again. And then the wide receiver room, Legend Glasser is just kind of been getting better and better as the year's gone on. He's a problem for defenses just because there's so many different ways he can produce. I will say Kyler Casper's coming off a huge game.

42:48

I do still have some concerns about catch rate with him, but if he's going to get eleven targets a game, catching fifty percent of those and I'll say twelve to make it a round number, if he's going to catch six of those twelve targets, it's not as big of an issue. I mean, especially if he's going to go for one hundred yards and a touchdown. So, I mean, BYU looks like the favorable side in this matchup. Kenny, how are you attacking this in your pool?

43:13

Yeah, I guess I'll start with the Arizona Staten side. Like, it's obviously really intriguing. I'm not interested in the quarterback, however that shakes out. I mean, Cardi and Matt got so much volume last Week, but Kansas State's been a great running back matchup, and it's not really good game flow for him to get thirty carries, and he's priced up already. Um, so I'm out on that, but it's something to monitor for maybe later spots in the season.

43:38

Cause Arizona state does tend to feed their guys, which is what we've seen from Reed Harris all year. Um, you know, UCF threw for three hundred yards against BYU. I know it was kind of a weird, like across the country spot for BYU, but I don't hate the Reed Harris, even with the quarterback issues, um, in like specifically with BYU guys, um, But that's really it for me with Arizona Staten.

44:06

So, yeah, the running back situation is interesting, and I should have looked into it more, and I'm going to check. But Rex is probable this Week. He did start. So I almost wonder if that dinged up last Week. I need to look into that. That being said, Moa played the vast majority of snaps, well, two-thirds of the snaps anyways, and had a lot more carries. He just wasn't efficient. I think he's a pretty solid spot. Like, I like him better than Phillips.

44:32

I could see him having, like, a two-touchdown game. It's totally within the realm of possibilities with just the game environment he's in. But really, I think my favorite play from BYU's legend, Glasser, they just used him a lot of different ways. Last Week, I was really on him, and he kind of sucked down, got a touchdown in overtime, or late, one of the two, to kind of save his DFS day. He didn't go off by any means, but had a usable score.

44:57

I'm just curious how these receivers are going to shake out, because Glasker's probably going to project slightly better. But Casper's been getting the target. So it almost feels like a situation like where like in hand-billed driven contests, we see Casper more. He's six hundred dollars cheaper and like a ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. 45:27

He obviously doesn't need to be paired. And $8,700, it is something you like got to consider, especially when it's like you have the Stockton and the Gio Lopez's that are in the seminars that are a little more affordable and have similar ceilings. But yeah, it's a really love the BYU side here. Specifically, these guys is One-OffIn CFB DFS, a one-off is a player you roster outside a stack, often a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. Yeah, I'm just looking at what you mentioned with Rex, and he is probable.

46:01

He had the first carry of the second half and didn't get another carry after that or another look. So it could be that situation, Moa did take over. But Rex is probable to play this Week. It's still just kind of a mix. If LJ Martin was in this spot, it'd be – really good spot for LJ Martin, but let's just pivot that. He's not.

46:16

So let's just talk about Barry Bachmeier is this dual threat quarterback who runs the ball ten times and can throw the ball for three hundred yards and has this crazy explosive wide receiver in the $5,000 range who could go for one fifty and two touchdowns and legend Lasker and loved me that side. Barry Bachmeier is one of the best quarterback plays on the slate. It's a really important game for BYU. They have the Holy war next Week against Utah.

46:43

And that is really the springboard into the big twelve title game, depending how things shake out and really playoff hopes for that matter for both schools. And it's really important that they don't overlook this game coming off the loss because that could really send their season spiraling. They need to focus in. They got a really favorable matchup against a pretty banged up Arizona Staten team. So I feel like this is a really good spot for a potential get right game for them.

47:09

It's going to run through Bayer. For me, it's going to run through Glasgow. So I really like those guys. Other side, nothing really interests me. I do think this has got to be like the biggest age disparity between potential starting quarterbacks with the freshman Fette and Mikey Keefe, who's got to be about thirty four years old at this point. Right. I don't know how many years in college football, but it's been a long time.

47:34

Yeah, he's a he's a name that's just been I think when he got into the game, you sent a message that I I guess he's still playing college football or something like that. Is that UCF? I don't know how many years ago, but Love Bear, Love Legend, really good names too. That's an all-name team right there. Yeah, and speaking of, how do you not play Casper on Halloween? That's got to be a first-click kind of guy.

48:02

That's a narrative I'll roll with all day long. All right, Kansas at TCU. Some significant news in this one. Isaiah Marshall is questionable. Him being out would mean we Likely see Cole Ballard at $4,500 who's not on the report this Week. And if that opens up and you're playing a $4,500 quarterback, if you need to, that's where like, do I really want to play Fette on the road against BYU or Ballard, who has experience?

48:28

I know it's a tough matchup, but that's kind of a decision that you'll have to make as well. Pending news, obviously. Dylan Edwards, thirty carries last Week. Obviously, even at $7,000, I'll take thirty carries all day. Again, matchup's going to come into play. One thing that I've heard discussed a little bit is Yassine Wills not being on the Big Twelve report. I don't I don't think he's going to. I think he's out for the season.

48:51

Not that it needs to be a deep discussion, but just something to bring up because I've heard talk about it and. The big twelve trace five is not on the report either. It's confirmed he's out for the season. It's just a big twelve thing. If they're out for the season, there's no sense wasting time or wasting space on the report. Anywho, Dylan Edwards is interesting, even in a tough matchup because he'll catch the ball out of the backfield too.

49:13

And if Kansas wants to get him involved, especially if we see a backup quarterback, that's a little bit of a different discussion. Wide receivers, we're looking at McMillan, Pickett, Najee Cox was back to having a pulse against Baylor. Again, it kind of rides on the quarterback and how much you trust, you know, if Ballard does play and how much you trust this matchup.

49:34

TCU, not in the exact same spot they were last Week, but it's not that Kansas has a great defense either. Jaden Craig up to $7,200. It's it turns into more of a decision with the price increase, even though Kansas is bad, a little bit tougher matchup than West Virginia, considering West Virginia's dead last in a lot of categories. John Denman could be all by himself in this backfield again. You know, Payne is out. Walker is either questionable or doubtful.

50:02

And he got the volume. He just didn't produce against West Virginia. And if he can't produce against West Virginia, what does that mean for you against any other team, especially in conference play? And then the wide receivers. I mean, Jordan Dwyer, monster game. Ed Small, monster game. Small? No, one of these two. Ashley or Small had a monster game. It was Ashley. Had the volume. I don't think he got a score, but he got over a hundred yards receiving.

50:25

And Ed Small is kind of one of those guys. That could, like you could have swapped him out for Ashley or Dwyer and it wouldn't have surprised me against West Virginia. But you're looking at three wide receiver, three pass catchers. They are priced up a little bit this Week, which I'm glad they did. So it's a little bit different situation for sure. Ian, though, like I said, I still don't like the TCU offense very much.

50:47

A game against West Virginia doesn't change things for me very much. Right, right. We didn't like them last Week against West Virginia. They cranked through for a bunch of yards, those guys, but they didn't really score a lot of points either comparatively. So why are we going to like them now when they're priced up a little bit? In the bubble, like Denman, we don't need the value in the same way that we did last Week. Each Week is different. Each Week has its own SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. 51:09

It has its own potential. And I think this just goes into a blot nothing game. Dreyer and Ashley, I don't mind. A little priced up, though. I think there's a lot better receiving options that we've talked about and a much better price range. I mean, you talked to me about Legend Glasgow right before that. You know, I don't want to pay $1,000 up for a TCU receiver this Week. On the Kansas side, the trend is bad for Marshall.

51:31

He was listed as probable in the first report, then downgraded to questionable. I don't like when guys are trending downward. That usually means that they have some kind of hiccup in practice and they're not looking good. That really, really drags down the offense. Maybe if Ballard plays, it's a little bit of an up to McMillan or Pickett potentially. Nazi Cox. Edwards is pretty dependable, but he's priced up to a point. TCU has nothing else. They have a really good defense, and they're slot games down.

51:59

Even West Virginia, they held down a little bit.

52:02

Comparatively so marshall out it just takes away any kind of any kind of value I think for this game and I don't know if there's really any One-OffIn CFB DFS, a one-off is a player you roster outside a stack, often a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. 52:30

I think he's more of a runner than a pocket passer, if I remember correctly. I could be a different quarterback for Kansas, I'm thinking of, but he's been there for a while in a backup role. But yeah, Dylan Edwards, I can't really overlook that volume that he had last Week. So really, it's just Dylan Edwards on this side, even as an underdog on the road.

52:52

It doesn't totally scare me off with that volume, and he should Shouldn't Garner a ton of OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. So yeah, the TCU side, I'm kind of back in on these doubles, like with these guys priced up. I don't mind Dwyer as a one-off. And Ed Small, gosh, he just, it's kind of like, I still think Ed Small has that ceiling in him that we saw at the beginning of the year.

53:14

But with Dwyer there, it does feel like Dwyer's kind of the clear cut number one option. That being said, all these guys that are on this sheet play enough to like ruin this whole stack. Like last Week, Pimpton caught a touchdown. Hayes caught some passes. Scott caught some passes. And it can take away from these top guys. So I think, yeah, definitely in on like Craig doubles, even though we did.

53:38

I don't know if a product of him running more was just because West Virginia's defense sucks and then he couldn't find anyone open or what everyone would scramble. He didn't have a touchdown last Week. Or it could be maybe a product of the limited running back stuff they have going on right now. But I don't hate this spot. So last Week Landon Walker was someone I was going to take a shot on. He'd played the Week before and then was out last Week when pain had got hurt.

54:07

He had six carries for thirty six yards. He's kind of been efficient with his touches this year. I don't think I'm going to get there, but it's something to kind of watch here like I don't fully as bad as TCU seems to still want to commit to the crappy run game they're doing. I wouldn't gosh. Yeah, probably not this Week Landon Walker, but it's a spot to watch. So that's probably it for me. Really low total for a Big Twelve game.

54:35

Yeah. I mean, it's just a product of TCU's defense being very good and their offense not doing a whole lot. And Cole Ballard does have a pretty significant average yards per carry. He hasn't had a ton of volume, but that could just be playing time in general. However, Nebraska used to have a running back named Cole Ballard. So maybe that's – Oh, really? Yeah, I don't know. Well, this Cole Ballard – Nebraska running back popped up. And, like, honestly, they kind of look similar to each other.

55:12

I haven't found confirmation that it's the same guy. I don't think it's the same guy. Well, this Cole Ballard was Jalen Daniels backup for all those years. Right. Yeah, I mean, he's been there. That's certainly – He's not a rookie or a freshman or whatever you want to call it. Anyway, I'm just kind of delaying the inevitable here because we're moving on to Minnesota at Indiana. Game day is there. Minnesota, a twenty-point dog, and I believe ten. Ten point zero, or is that a hundred-point Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. 55:44

I don't want to believe it's only ten points. I'm not playing anybody from the Minnesota side. Drake Lindsey, even at $5,000. Here's the thing with Drake. If Minnesota is going to be competitive in this game, they need him to have a CeilingCeiling is the high end of a player's or lineup's realistic range of fantasy scores. Then check whether those conditions help or hurt the other players in your lineup.Read the full definition of Ceiling game. So if that's the route you want to take, I can see a path to playing him. It just hasn't been there. And Minnesota as a team, like P.J. Fleck wants to establish a run no matter what the game situation is.

56:06

I've talked about it in the past with the Gophers. So play at your own risk. But if and I think if Minnesota wins, it's like another sloppy game like Iowa or sloggy, not necessarily sloppy, but sloggy, like a twenty to seventeen, seventeen, thirteen sort of game. Darius Taylor, TJ Thomas, Xavier Ford. This running back room is a mess to begin with, and I don't like the matchup. If you're going to play somebody on the Minnesota side, it's probably one of these receivers.

56:32

Tracy is a bit expensive, although I lean on him because his ADOT is so much less and easier throws for Lindsey to make for both Tracy and Roman Voss, especially if Walsh is out again. Again, like I mentioned earlier in the show, two yards away from a touchdown last Week. On the Indiana side, I'm For a thirty-point Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. 56:55

Josh Hoover is borderline getting to the point never Josh Hoover for me, no matter what the matchup is. He's still a little bit banged up. And then the split between Richards and Bebe is tough to get to on this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. And then the two guys that I will always have interest in are Becker and Marsh, even at these prices.

57:21

They both provide a thirty plus point ceiling depending on whose game it's going to be. It could be both of them in this game if they can get their offense moving a little bit. Now normally I like to play slots against Minnesota. Davion Chandler out, so maybe you can get to Tyler Morris or Shaz Preston, but Siggs has made it incredibly clear that nobody has really separated themselves as the top slot receiver for them.

57:44

So it's really Becker and Marsh for me in this entire game. I'd Ian, do you see it any differently? Do you have – it's harder like Minnesota. It's just a lot of points to leave on the table with Indiana. So what was the score last Week's Indiana-Michigan game? Is that one thirteen to six? Yeah. Do you know how many passes Indiana threw in the second half? I do not. Zero. Whoa.

58:09

They did not throw or attempt to pass until the first play of overtime, which was the only pass attempt in completion. Now, Hoover got sacked once. Despite Signetti not putting anybody in the Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. He banged up his shoulder, and then Ohio Staten came in. For them not to throw a forward pass against Michigan last Week is pretty telling. It just makes me very, very wary of any of these guys. You said never judge Hoover.

58:37

I mean, I love Charlie Becker. I love Nick Marsh. Those guys have potential to be first-round NFL draft picks, and I'd like to play them on Sundays, but I don't know if I could play them with Josh Hoover, to be honest with you, and they have a split running back. I'd love to have Turbo in the lead or BB in the lead, and I would play one of the two of them, but it's a pretty even split.

58:53

So I do think Indiana's got a path to score thirty points. For me, predictability standpoint, I don't know where it's going to come from, and if Hoover all of a sudden heals up and he throws passes... Then I guess that'll be it. Becker at $1,000, that's not it for me. This game's not it for me right now. Not today, not this weekend. Yeah, I'm pretty much there with you. I kind of considered Noah Jennings because of his price, but just the nature of the slate.

59:25

I'm not gonna waste my time over on that side. It's interesting that you say that about Indiana, I didn't know that. The only like I guess the main reason I'm interested in this team total. I don't have interest in the running background, especially and he's not on here, but Kobe Martin is not on the report. That being said, I don't know how you know there's kind of been some weird injury reports of Indiana. He didn't play last Week, but technically would have been available.

59:54

Yeah, really just these two receivers for me for Indiana. And I honestly like, especially like Nick Mars, a $6,700. I don't really have a matchup take, but it's always one of these two guys. It feels like I mean, maybe with the did either of them have a good game last Week? No, they couldn't have because Indiana. I know Mars didn't. Yeah. So but really that this is this is a pretty much a nothing game.

1:00:16

Maybe one of these two Indiana pitchers, but.

1:00:19

Becker was three for thirty two marsh was two for twenty five Hoover was eight for eighteen with eighty one yards in the interception gosh it's so weird to not like a team that has a thirty point team total but this is definitely the formula that gets you there just a lot of bad quarterback play split running backs and expensive wide receivers that need more than just a touchdown and a big catch to get there a more interesting big ten game northwestern and oregon Oregon is this small of a favorite at home against Northwestern, not on my bingo card this year.

1:00:55

Something we talked about in our meeting this Week, it is a Chip Kelly revenge game. If you want to take that narrative, I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to beat the brakes off of Oregon. Aiden Chiles, seven to one hundred has been great for DFS. He has at least one rushing touchdown in every single game. So on top of being a dual threat to begin with, they utilize him inside the ten yard line quite a bit.

1:01:16

That touchdown upside on the ground is definitely there and he's been chucking the ball around too he's getting one of his weapons back in the wide receiver pass catching room we'll talk about in a moment uh caleb kumalafe has kind of established a little bit more of a workhorse role recently uh mid-teens and carries the last couple of games uh touchdown and four straight he's out snapping Joseph hyman and gavin saw chuck and kumalafe can catch passes too uh one thing about hyman I will say though is that it doesn't take much for him to get there he He's one of those guys that I've watched, and I don't know that I've seen somebody just come on the field for three plays and bust three fifty plus yard runs every time he touches the ball.

1:01:55

So that's that's kind of the player that he is. So like a real boom bust candidate. But Komolafe at $5,700 has started carving out his role even more so recently. And then Griffin Weldy's pricey, but rightfully so, averaging ten targets and one hundred and eleven yards over the last three. And then the rest of these guys like Wagner and Elijan are fine. Luke Deneke is projected back and over Minnesota zone. And he was crushing Indiana before he got hurt.

1:02:23

So if he can get back to his role that he had in that game, certainly a little bit of interest there definitely hurts Honig. But I do really wish he was in the three Ks. I'd probably click it for sure if Deneke was in the three Ks. On the Oregon side, Rayola's sub-$7,000 again. I don't know how many times we need to fall for this. I mean, this could certainly be the Week, but I don't know. I don't know if I'm getting there.

1:02:48

I do want to play one of these running backs. Teams have been running the ball okay against the Wildcats, but it's essentially a fifty-fifty split with Hill and Davison and Brandon Smith mixes in. It's just hard. And then with these wide receiver pass catchers, it looks like everybody's back except for McClellan. So that kind of muddles things up a little bit more in Stewart or both in the six Ks. Maybe take a shot on Johnson or Hampton just because of their price.

1:03:14

But with everybody healthy and active, it just it's harder to pinpoint where you go with Oregon. Kenny, what are you looking at in this Northwestern Oregon game?

1:03:26

Yeah gosh what a what a season for oregon golly I um yeah I'm done with the dylan royale experiment experiment that we tried a couple weeks ago in ucla I gosh he just fooled us all with that performance against usc how bad is usc's defense to see him succeed I would like to note when you say you're done with somebody that's a Oh, yeah. Fire up Raiola.

1:03:55

So and then the running backs, gosh, as bad as I really want one of these guys to work out, they're just not. I don't really have a take for like an Oregon matchup against Northwestern's defense. But if there is a guy from Oregon that I like, it's probably Jamari Johnson. He's at least like going to be out there probably more than any of these guys. These receivers are a little too expensive, like his best stewards, $5,200.

1:04:18

I might have some interest in as a One-OffIn CFB DFS, a one-off is a player you roster outside a stack, often a running back or a receiver without his quarterback. A quarterback selected without his pass catchers can also function as a standalone play. Before adding a one-off, compare him with an affordable teammate of your existing stack. Decide whether his individual upside is worth passing up that extra scoring connection.Read the full definition of One-Off or a sacking piece with the Northwestern guy. But really, it's just Amari Johnson with me for Oregon. Yeah, and then what a season for Northwestern. Gosh dang. I don't, like, does it feel good betting Oregon minus three and a half? Because it really can't. I don't care if they're home or not. Like, this was, I think this was the, or no, I guess, never mind. It was the same spread. But Aiden Chiles, seven to one hundred.

1:04:43

He's been phenomenal this year. He has rushing upside, throwing upside.

1:04:47

Really don't think you need to pair him this Week I don't think I might not play any northwestern pass catchers as much as I like like I'd like northwestern way more than I should for a twenty twenty two point Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total but I have a good reason why so last Week oregon versus illinois um gosh I can't remember the exact number but I think it was forty forty let me pull this up real quick here um But yeah, anyways, Oregon got absolutely gassed by Illinois on the run game last last Week, like to the tune.

1:05:22

I think it was like forty six carries for two hundred ninety seven yards. I think they had five runs over ten yards that a lot of seventy five yard touchdown run. I can't think like when you talk about an explosive rushing attack, that's what Northwestern has been about this year. And these guys, these top two running backs, they haven't got much volume to like really So, yeah, so, I mean, just look at last Week.

1:05:49

I mean, if Illinois can do that to Oregon, do you think Northwestern could do that? Do you think Northwestern could? I mean, Northwestern's ran for more than three hundred yards as a team multiple times this season. I think Komolafe and Hyman in second are going very overlooked this Week, and I'm definitely going to be overweight in GBP. It doesn't look like a good matchup on paper, but I don't think you can really look at Oregon on paper right now.

1:06:12

Like, they're still, like, top-fifteen in pace of play, and it feels like they're slow as dog shit. Now, I don't know if that's a project of them, like, just getting three yards at a time and that's all. They can move down the field so they're just running an abundance of plays and holding onto the ball forever, and it seems like that. But I think this Northwestern spot, especially the rushing aspect of Northwestern, is going really overlooked this Week. Yeah, I can't argue with that.

1:06:37

Chip Kelly knows how to rush a football. He knows how to do it in Austin Stadium, too. Big return spot for Chip Kelly. What a great year for the Wildcats. New stadium, got some playoff aspirations this year, legitimate playoff aspirations. Aiden Chiles has had a rushing touchdown every single game this year. You guys, he's been, they've been tremendous. This is a really circle of violence game for Oregon.

1:06:59

This is going to tell you exactly how the rest of their season is going to go. They can either tank it or they're going to, they're going to show up for this game. They just did fire their co-offensive coordinator. They promoted from within after Will Stein left for Kentucky. So they got a new play caller this Week. What does that mean? We'll see. They did just announce that they shut down Dante Moore. So that kind of question mark is out. They brought back Evan Stewart.

1:07:24

Um, so we'll see. I would love to try to get to the area, the area Hill potentially, or Davidson dairy Hill seems to be taking over the one spot. I think he's got in a decent spot here. Um, I think if Oregon is going to win, they're going to win through Hill and running the ball. As opposed to Raiola. And I think if more questions are going to win, it's going to be like you guys said. It's going to be through trials.

1:07:50

It's going to be through Komelefi. It's going to be, you know, just the Chip Kelly masterclass that he is capable of. It's an interesting game. I think two seasons can take really different directions based on the outcome of this game. But, yeah, all those guys you mentioned in play in there. Yeah. And don't count Northwestern out of the Big Ten championship run. They're also a one-loss team.

1:08:18

The one-loss teams in the Big Ten, Indiana, Northwestern, Minnesota, Wisconsin, just sitting behind UCLA and Ohio Staten, both with Ohio State's quarterback being down. It's a wide open conference this year. So this game means a lot more than you thought it would preseason. And it means more for the team, probably the team you wouldn't have thought of preseason. So Some pretty big implications. Implications in this game as well. We already talked about the look ahead for BYU.

1:08:43

The same can be said about Utah looking ahead to the same game. Devin Dampier. The funny thing in this game for me is that they talked a lot about the Devin Dampier, Bird Ficklin, you know, the quarterbacks feature they did on game day last Week. And then Bird Ficklin played four snaps. So it's really Dampier offense. I think you still need to be worried about Ficklin coming in and sniping a touchdown. Obviously, if this game goes a little bit sideways, we could see more of him.

1:09:07

But at $8,800, I think Devin Dampier has some mega upside. Just a few quarterback stats against Cincinnati. Avery Johnson, two ninety two through the air, six and six point three per carry on the ground. Noah Fafia, two eighty four and two. Michael Hawkins, four sixty four and three. That's through the air. Plus seventy seven and two on the ground. David McComb. You guys know anybody know who Davis McComb is? He's the Miami of Ohio quarterback.

1:09:30

Three thirty four and one against Cincinnati. I'm not counting Will Hammond because, as we said, he sucks. He doesn't count. But if those quarterbacks can all do this, there's no reason Devin Dampier can't. Wayshawn Parker, obviously a threat, too. I do want him to get at least twenty touches, which I think is viable. You know, we've seen him lack volume a couple of times this season. And at $8,800, you'd want a little bit more certainty.

1:09:55

But he could get there on ten touches with the way he plays. So the risk isn't quite as high in my book. And then Pegan. Rightfully priced.

1:10:04

Whitmore's carved out a little bit more of a Target ShareIn college football, target share is the same percentage of team targets, but it is often far more concentrated: many offenses send a third or more of their throws to one receiver or tight end.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share recently, so if you need a discounted receiver and want a piece of this offense, I do think you can play Dampier naked just fine, and it's an expensive stack with Pegan, so I would understand that as well if you wanted to play him naked or go down to leg Whitmore. On the Cincinnati side, J.C. French had a stellar game last Week against a Texas Tech defense that we've already talked about.

1:10:25

It's not quite up to where they were last year. Coltab, Just been on an absolute tear. I do think it's a bit different of a conversation this Week because he's $7,900 and Jabron Payne is expected back. Payne did have a majority of the workload before getting hurt, but it's it's going to be tough to take tab off the field just from a general football perspective. So I do think there's still some upside there as well.

1:10:48

And then in the wide receiver room, JV Gibson, Isaiah Johnson, Malachi Henry. Utah has given up big games to at least one receiver the last three games. Not much of a trend in terms of like the type of a receiver. One, the weird thing is that Cam Pickett, DeAndre Moore, and Amari Thomas are all listed at six foot and somewhere between one hundred and ninety and two hundred and five pounds.

1:11:07

So if you want to grasp at that straw, Malachi Henry, six foot, two oh five. He fits the Bill. But in terms of there's I mean, there's a lot of points in this game. There's a lot of. Like question marks in terms of workload. On the Cincinnati side, specifically the running backs, but you know Ian this when there's this many points you want to at least consider it for for some of your cash Single-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. I think with the way the value shakes up on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate, Devin Dampier creates a really interesting play. His floor is so high. Even last Week when they kind of slogged through their game against Houston late at night, he still rushed for one-fifty, rushed for two touchdowns, threw for two-hundred. But he's just got such a path to get there. He's so dynamic as a fantasy player. Obviously a real quarterback too, Utah's role in this year.

1:11:54

From a football perspective, this game, It's interesting because I mentioned before at BYU, Utah has the Holy War on deck next Week. They're undefeated. They're ranked in the top six. They certainly have a playoff and Big Twelve title aspirations. Flying out to the East Coast after a game ending about, I don't know, one, two a.m. East Coast time last Week. Could be an interesting travel spot with the Holy War on deck next Week. But, you know, Cincinnati had that big win last Week.

1:12:23

So can they back it up? We'll see. Dan Peer, though, is definitely a guy. Dan Peer and Parker, they're playable together. They were priced favorably, but the way the pricing is on Utah, I think you play one or the other depending where you play your value at with the way the value per space. If you play some value running backs, it allows you to Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up for Dan Peer, and I think that's a really good spot to do it. He's a true dual threat.

1:12:48

He's going to run the ball ten to fifteen times if he has to. If they're slogging in the game, he's just going to kind of take over with his legs. I figure he's going to be in it. That whole split with Birdfoot has kind of fizzled as they've gotten more into conference play. He's been on the gas a little bit more, and I do think that he is in a really good spot. Now, if you have salary for Pegan, I think he's okay, too.

1:13:11

You did mention the Cincinnati receivers. I don't mind that as well, either. You know, it's... Gibson, they've been good. Colt's a little overpriced for my liking comparatively, but he could be a decent sneaky option that Kenny might have his eye on. French has always been a good dual-threat quarterback. He's had a pretty decent season. Cincinnati's been sneaky good this year. It's a tricky travel spot. So I'm really interested for this game from a football perspective, cash perspective.

1:13:38

I definitely think if you, if you find yourself wanting to pay up for quarterback, Dan Pierro is definitely a guy to target, you know, between him and bear. It's almost like flipping a coin because they do a lot of this amount of things together. Yeah, gosh, I want to like something from the Cincinnati side, but nothing makes me feel good. Really, it's probably with French, and I'm really not forcing a passing stat. Last Week, he threw four touchdowns, four different receivers.

1:14:05

I think Henry's only catch was touchdowns. He threw a touchdown to Tab and Perry. It's really tough to pin down, so I don't like the Cincinnati receivers just because of that. Tab, gosh, dang it.

1:14:18

He was so explosive last Week and it's scary to fade um but I just think at his price he's just a touch too expensive I don't think I'm gonna play any um so yeah I guess kind of basically long way to say is saying I'm kind of out on the Cincinnati side um and it's not that I'm like scared of Utah's defense they always have respectable defense but it just I just can't find a spot I like.

1:14:43

The Utah side, on the other hand, it's really these three expensive guys for me. Last Week, we really saw in a competitive game, Dampier out there the whole time, Parker out there the whole time, Began out there the whole time. Benet, I would have more interest in, except Hunter Andrews is Likely to be back. But if Hunter Andrews is out, I kind of like Benet as a GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. 1:15:07

There's just a lot of good plays right where he is that they should kind of cannibalize each other. But, yeah, love Dampier. You guys covered it really well, so not a ton to add. Yeah, definitely a juicy game. And, Ian, I know you got time crunch here up against the clock, so whenever you need to split. Yeah, I'll be back for this game. You guys take care of the last two. Happy Halloween. Enjoy the Halloween football Saturday. Cheers. Great show today.

1:15:38

All right, and there he goes. Yeah, big boy job, being a parent, all of the above. All these things factor into our lives. We make this work any way we can, but we're still here to finish off for you, Cam Hock and myself. Virginia, Wake Forest. Wake Forest has kind of been a wagon this year. Don't mind me. I'm just pulling up Virginia's Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. In DFS, it also affects opportunities for teammates and opponents. Before an uncertain player's game locks, identify an alternative you can afford at each affected position. Check whether making that change would require another player whose game starts earlier.Read the full definition of Injury News. Hang on. Oh, wait. Oh, there's more. Okay. A lot of people are out for Virginia. Bo Pribula, this is what, okay.

1:16:15

I don't like Bo Pribula as a play in DFS most of the time, but at $6,000 when he is one of the few guys on offense, that is a consistent starter. That's going to be playing. I hate to say it, but I'm not off on him this Week. Part of that is because Jaquel Middlebrook is one of those guys that was recently added to the report.

1:16:37

I don't think he was on the report on Tuesday, and then he went straight to being out on the Wednesday or Thursday report, Wednesday to Thursday. Either way, he's out. But you don't want to run the ball against Wake Forest anyway. Even Miami only averaged four and a half yards of carry against them. Their running defense has been pretty stout. Without Middlebrook, Zay Davis, Xavier Brown, Noah Vaughn is on track to play.

1:17:01

He'd been out for a few weeks, so Really figuring out the running back room is tough to begin with. And then you get a matchup like this in the wide receiver room. Cam Courtney is doubtful again. Flores is out for the season. Deshaun Martin is a little bit expensive. If I'm taking a shot on somebody here, it's probably John Rogers with the Target ShareIn college football, target share is the same percentage of team targets, but it is often far more concentrated: many offenses send a third or more of their throws to one receiver or tight end.Judge target share over the last three or four games, not the full season, especially after a trade, an injury or a quarterback change. The most recent role is the one you are paying for.Read the full definition of Target Share he's getting with all these guys out at $3,600. I think Virginia's projected to score eighteen points.

1:17:26

And I would not be surprised if Pribula, Martin and Rogers accounted for all of them.

1:17:30

Would not shock me I know Dakota Twitty's been on the field a little bit more I just don't know like if you're going into the $3,000's I'd like to find the $3,600 for Rogers and not have to dip down to Twitty or abdul or one of these super risky darts on the way forest side however now I did not fact check this myself but I spoke to a very reliable source in the loop on wake forest happenings who says jake dickard is five and one against the spread coming off of a bye Week That holds true.

1:17:57

Minus twelve and a half means a victory for Wake Forest and they're scoring a decent amount of points in all likelihood. Gio Lopez just been on a heater. $7,800 seems too cheap for him in this matchup. He's averaging more than thirty one drafting points per game, and that's even with fourteen and a half against Louisville. So that's I mean, I don't know that I need to break it down even more dual threat. And this matchup is not scary.

1:18:20

I don't think you need to go to the running backs just by nature of this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. I don't like wake running backs very much to begin with. And there are cheaper guys that are going to have a more clear path to success this Week. Carlos Hernandez went healthy, legitimate forty percent or forty point upside. So even at $7,300, I like him a lot this Week.

1:18:36

He only played a few snaps against Cal, but he came into that as a Injury NewsInjury news is information about a player's health that can change whether they compete, how much they play or how effectively they perform. In DFS, it also affects opportunities for teammates and opponents. Before an uncertain player's game locks, identify an alternative you can afford at each affected position. Check whether making that change would require another player whose game starts earlier.Read the full definition of Injury News. Wake got up really quickly in that game. So it was probably more of a hey, if we don't need to push him onto the field to win this game, let's rest him. It's. We have a bye Week coming up. Now he's coming back, presumably healthy. I do think you can take a shot on Foley, Shanks, and Meeks.

1:18:57

I like Meeks the most because I think he's got an equal shot as these other two guys, and he's the cheapest one. So for me, it's really Wake Forest. How do you see this game? Maybe – I mean, there's runbacks on the Virginia side I don't mind. How are you looking at this? You know, I thought, you know, looking at that price tag, I definitely looked into it.

1:19:17

But this Virginia team is just – dog shit right now the only place I'm considering virginia is this running back room which I don't even know if I really want to figure out with metal brook gone and then being underdogs and everything um and virginia is known to like I mean I don't know if you remember the first game when virginia dog walked nc state and everybody played jacob brook he's a starter and then all these guys contributed like it feels like another situation where they're all gonna have eight carries here so probably even out on that.

1:19:46

And Wake Forest has been dog walking the bottom of this conference. But I don't, the running backs are annoying. I'm not going to go there. But Gio Lopez is a great play. I think he, I don't even think you have to pair Hernandez with him. And I mean, that being said, Hernandez is also a really great play. I don't really have injury concerns. Just like I said, they've just been dog walking the bottom of the conference. I haven't really needed them.

1:20:12

GBPs, I'm going to play some Jack Foley, specifically in Gio doubles. But that's really it. But yeah, it's, for as awesome as the Wake Forest side is, there's really not a ton to add because it's just these two guys, really. It's a great spot for Wake Forest, but not a ton to talk about. Yeah, for sure. And I do want to rewind because there was a question in the chat.

1:20:36

I laughed when this popped up because I don't know if I want to say this exact question out loud, but yes, you can play Devin Dampier naked. I'll leave it at that. I think actually he's one of the better quarterbacks you can roll out on his own on this slate. And actually, maybe a couple more coming up in this next game. South Carolina at Oklahoma, really low Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total.

1:21:00

But with the way these two teams play, I think there's still some viability on the DFS side. Lenora Sellars coming off of a huge game. This is definitely going to be a tougher matchup for him. Although I will say Parker Pickett averaged more than five yards of carry against Oklahoma. So if he can do it, Lenora Sellars can. I think Sellars is You know, the type of physical dual threat.

1:21:19

I mean, we need to clarify dual threat because he is a running dual threat quarterback, not like a true dual threat quarterback. I know he threw for four touchdowns. Was that against Florida that he did that? But that's not his game typically. And anybody can throw for touchdowns against Florida. But at $8,200, it just gives you some pause, even though I think he can't handle this matchup. It's just an expensive price to pay with, you know, other like Lopez in the game before.

1:21:46

This is four hundred dollars cheaper. Matt Fuller priced down a little bit, but still kind of expensive for a guy who hasn't eclipsed fifty two yards or more than two catches since Week four. So, you know, the production hasn't really been there. Mazeo Bennett, one of the more consistent guys in the pass catching room, averaging eight targets over the last three and a couple of touchdowns in that stretch as well.

1:22:07

Nick Harper, true boomer bust fashion, goes four for eighty three in one one Week and then the next Week no catches on one target. We talk about him every Week at $4,100. It's a tough click. I'd rather I'd rather play D.J. Black or Donovan Murph if you want a wide receiver just because I like their prospects of safety, I guess, as safe as you can be as a South Carolina wide receiver more than Nick Harbor.

1:22:31

On the Oklahoma side, John Mateer at six, nine. Nice. Still probably too cheap. He did hit value last Week. He got to three X, I think at the same price. Um, and South Carolina's past defense has been the easier route to success this year. Uh, the running back room is tough to touch because Xavier Robinson is expected back. Lloyd Avant and Tori Blaylock were already in a fifty-fifty split. Um, and wasn't even a full fifty-fifty split though.

1:22:55

Tori, uh, Jonathan Hatton had like sixteen offensive snaps as well. So with a four headed monster, it's, it's tough. Uh, even, I mean, even if it was a two running back split, it's not the greatest matchup for running backs. We talk about it every time South Carolina is on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. Slot receivers against South Carolina. It just so happens the guys that play out of the slot for Oklahoma are Isaiah Satania and Rocky Beers.

1:23:20

So you're getting the top two pass catchers in a position that tends to torch South Carolina. Tennessee didn't have much success on offense last Week, but who was their leading receiver? It was still Braylon Staley. And he had a touchdown callback as well. So it could have been even better. I think he had what, like four for fifty six or something.

1:23:40

So if you could have added a touchdown, another catch, and a bunch of yards, that was very close to being a monster game again. A couple of things, though. Manny Choice has, I mean, he's huge. And he's been on the field quite a bit. He had a really good game against Kentucky, but then just kind of ran cardio in their last game. And then Parker Livingstone did come back, but he only played fifteen snaps.

1:24:04

Maybe that increases this Week and we see a little bit more production out of him, but it's really just a tanium beers for me. How it's, it's a, it's a true late Hammer. How are we approaching this late game Hammer? I love late hammers. Yeah. It would be nice if it was a little bit better of a lay Hammer, but there is some pieces here.

1:24:24

So the South Carolina side, I don't mind Sellars, but he is priced up over in that $1,000 range and not necessarily the best matchup. I think he can run the ball on Oklahoma a little bit. That being said, the rest of the South Carolina side, Matt Fuller, once we get a better matchup, he's finally priced decent again, I think, but here I'm pretty much out on South Carolina besides sellers.

1:24:47

And I'm really not even wild about him, but the Oklahoma side, like Mateer ever since that Texas game, not including that game, he's, he's been spinning the ball a lot better. Um, not necessarily that he was, um, playing like a lights out defenses by any means, but, um, yeah, I mean, you nailed it. Like I, I didn't realize Staley was the leading receiver last Week.

1:25:08

Um, but yeah satan is just in a elite spot uh and another thing like for oklahoma in general like they can't run the ball the only thing they've been able to do is throw the ball of centenian beers uh Elijah Thomas is doubtful again and like you know you alluded to manny choice but gosh satania's in he's probably my favorite like receiver on the slate like salary aside I mean he is in a elite spot here totally worth the salary I mean it's just Like, it's insane.

1:25:40

Like, I don't, I mean, usually those trends, like, aren't like, it's nice to see. And it makes you like, it's like a good decision maker, but gosh, we've really like, even like Bailey stocked and candy dark, like it's just been consistently slot receivers against South Carolina. So I really do lean into that and yeah, I'm going to continue to do that here. So yeah. Like the Oklahoma side. Yeah.

1:26:04

And I think, I mean, it's when all things align, is what we what we're really looking at for DFS it's not just the matchup it's the fact that it's the top receiver on the team as well and I mean we saw this with Anthony Evans earlier in the season when Camario was still healthy like oh he's in a good matchup and he happens to be the top receiver on the team I said it last Week I think that Satania and Evans I get crossed and I think it's just because both of them have the third next to their name but that's that's a very

1:26:35

Insignificant part of what we're doing here uh but just to wrap up I mean we're looking at a lot of teams as double digit dogs that we're still going to be very interested in because there are so many on this slate you're going to be playing underdogs and these underdogs with twenty plus point Team TotalIn CFB DFS, a team total estimates a college team's points, usually from the game total and point spread. It describes team scoring expectations, not how much production the starters will accumulate.Recheck team totals after major news, then ask which players actually benefit. If your projections already reflect the change, avoid adding another automatic boost.Read the full definition of Team Total it just sets up the Game ScriptGame script is how a game's score and time remaining influence its pace, play choices and player opportunities. In football, teams protecting a lead often run more, while teams chasing a deficit often pass more. Before locking a lineup, ask who keeps playing if your expected script reverses. Check passing-down roles and backup rotations instead of assuming a team's leading rusher handles every situation.Read the full definition of Game Script if they're throwing teams to begin with it's a really nice spot to play some teams that you wouldn't necessarily play on other slates if we had you know seven to eight competitive games maybe you don't look as hard at these bigger spreads.

But the nature of this SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate is there's a handful of double digit spreads that we're going to be very, very interested in. Any other closing thoughts before we get out of here, Kenny? No, I think we summed it up pretty well. I'm excited to get into this. It's kind of been a rough October, really, for me. I feel like I've been playing well, but I haven't quite gotten over the hump for a while. So hopefully we can change that this weekend into October with a bang.

1:27:33

Yeah, it's the fifth. Usually we get four Saturdays a month. Maybe this is that extra fifth Saturday falling on the spookiest day of the year. Everything's aligning. Put Casper in your lineups. Casper the friendly ghost might be friendly for your lineups on Halloween. But we're going to end the show the way we do every single Week with the big guys. Rule number one, college football is fun. Enjoy building your lineups. Enjoy your process. Enjoy the sweat.

1:27:56

Be thankful that we have college football to watch on TV each and every Saturday. We're still in the midst of this, what, sixty one straight days of football. And it's been awesome. If you didn't watch North Texas and FAU last night, there were a ton of fireworks and one of the weirdest fumbles of all time. That is hilarious. Find that clip on social media. But most of all, don't take any day for granted.

1:28:16

We never know when the next one's going to be our last. And we don't have enough of them. So let's enjoy it while we're here. Let's get out in the streets this weekend and ship one for the big guy.
