The Short Version

Ryan Davenport breaks down the five-game DraftKings slate with Victor Wembanyama ($10,900) as the clear top play against Rudy Gobert. Alperen Sengun ranks second among the studs, pending his availability after missing the previous night, with Domantas Sabonis third on the strength of his rebounding. Cameron Boozer and Darius Acuff Jr. stand out in the Memphis-Sacramento game, while Tyler Herro's shot volume makes his $7,000 salary appealing.

Cam Spencer ($3,700) leads the value options even if Ty Jerome plays, with a bigger boost if Jerome sits. Karlo Matkovic benefits from Yves Missi's absence, and Tari Eason remains attractive for his minutes, with additional upside if someone misses. Cleveland-Milwaukee is a sneaky game to target, including James Harden, Donovan Mitchell and inexpensive Bucks pieces. Exposure to Minnesota-San Antonio stays lower outside Wembanyama; monitor Stephon Castle's migraine.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
VALUE At $3,700, he is one of the three favorite salary savers with Yves Missi out. 1:53
ONE-OFF A preferred Atlanta play at power forward who looks strong in the projections. 2:17
ONE-OFF At $5,900, he can exploit a Pelicans frontcourt missing Yves Missi and relying on Karlo Matkovic and Derik Queen. 2:45
ONE-OFF Liked at $7,600 against Ryan Rollins, Tyler Herro and the rest of Milwaukee's perimeter defenders. 3:14
ONE-OFF Liked at $8,700 for his scoring upside, with peripheral production needed alongside his points. 3:14
A tolerable $4,000 option with an estimated 24-28 minutes after scoring 26 DraftKings points in 27 minutes last time. 3:45
VALUE His heavy shot volume makes $7,000 appealing, provided he converts those attempts. 4:46
VALUE At $5,000, a return to his usual minutes after a blowout could produce 30-35 fantasy points and roughly six times his salary. 5:43
VALUE At $4,900, blocks and rebounds offer multiple paths to production, with hope that his three-point shooting rebounds. 5:43
VALUE At $7,400 with power forward eligibility, he is well priced at home against Sacramento, even without another triple-double. 7:01
Questionable and unappealing at $8,400 if active, but his status matters for Cam Spencer's opportunity. 7:01
VALUE Liked at $3,700 with or without Ty Jerome and becomes the favorite value if Jerome misses. 7:26
ONE-OFF Liked at $7,500 for his scoring ability in the matchup with Memphis. 7:54
ONE-OFF Liked at $6,800 for his scoring ability. 7:54
PAY UP The third-ranked stud at $9,400 brings strong rebounding, with more shot attempts and scoring needed to unlock his upside. 8:25
FADE Not playing him after repeated disappointing results during the week. 8:25
ONE-OFF One of the preferred Houston options alongside Alperen Sengun. 8:51
PAY UP The second-ranked stud has been producing across points, rebounds and assists, but his availability needs monitoring after missing the previous night. 9:17
VALUE A favorite salary saver with dual eligibility and dependable minutes, even if Sengun's return sends him back to the bench. 9:43
Oklahoma City Thunder FADE Passing on the team because the injury-depleted roster offers nobody appealing. 9:43
CORE The best play on the slate and a lock at $10,900 against Rudy Gobert. 10:04
FADE Dismissed as an option because he cannot provide enough scoring. 10:31
Described as difficult to use as a one-man offense in the discussion of Minnesota without Anthony Edwards. 10:31
Timberwolves-Spurs UNDERWEIGHT Taking less exposure to this game than others, with Victor Wembanyama the clear exception. 10:31

1:30

That gets you everything we do over here at the nation in the NBA, as well as a hundred lineups in our partner SaberSim. We got a pretty good SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate to talk about tonight. It is a five games DraftKings slate. And as I'm pulling up the stone, we're going to go. We're not going to go game by game. We're not going to go really position by position. We'll kind of go tier by tier, if you will.

1:53

First game up on the slate is this Hawks team is this Hawks game. And this Pelicans game, this game is pretty interesting in my opinion. Over a two hundred and forty point total. I got some interest in some of these guys here. No me see tonight for the Pelicans. So the first thing that sticks out to me is Carlo Matkovich. I'll say his name right. $3,700 on DraftKings. Really great price over there.

2:17

If you're looking for some some bargain basement savings, looking at any of these other Pelicans don't necessarily love any of them. On the Hawk side, I do like two guys a whole lot. One would be a stud, Jalen Johnson. He looks very well for us. See a lot of green in his name. So give me some Jalen Johnson at power forward. He looks good. And then a Kong Wu at $5,900. Another center position.

2:45

He could take advantage of this Pelicans team with no Meecy going up against Makovic, Derek Queen as well. So Jalen Johnson, Okonwu, and Makovic would be my three favorite from this game, really Carlo for some of that salary savings. Next game would be this Cavs taking on this Bucs team. Let's start with the Cavs because I got some interest in some guys over here. It's going to be the usual suspect, $7,600. The beard, James Harden.

3:14

I like him in this matchup against Ryan Rollin, Tyler Hero. The rest of these bucks guys are going to be guarding him. So give me some Harden and then Donovan Mitchell. I do like Donovan Mitchell tonight. $8,700 bucks. As we know with Donovan, he is kind of scoring dependent, so he's going to need to fill it up, and get some peripherals there as well, steals, blocks, rebounds, assists, something like that. I think Donovan could really pop off tonight at $8,700.

3:45

Then if you're looking for some salary savings on there, I don't hate Sam Merrill. At $4,000, I think $4,000 bucks for Merrill is fine. Let's see what he's been doing. He had twenty six Fantasy PointsNBA fantasy points convert a player's box score into a DFS score, including points scored, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and turnovers. His basketball point total is only one part of his fantasy production. Before trusting an average, check which games it includes and whether the player's role has changed. Separate repeatable opportunities from a few unusually productive games.Read the full definition of Fantasy Points last time. I did play twenty seven minutes, shot it pretty well. Six of eleven from the field for free from three. So Sam Merrill's been playing. Looks like twenty has been the least got up to thirty one. So somewhere in that twenty four ish.

4:15

Twenty eight. Twenty-eight range for minutes. I don't hate Sam Merrill. Don't really see anything else I like over here on the Cavs. On the flip side, I do have some interest in three of these guys as well. And it's not Nate Ament, former Tennessee great. Come on, Nate. Should be back in school, but hey, you're enjoying yourself up there. With the Brewers and the Bucks celebrating that World Series win, which boys understand that. But Tyler Hero, $7,000. I do like Tyler Hero tonight.

4:46

Very shot dependent or shot volume. We know the shot volume is going to be there for Hero at some point. They're going to say, hey, bro, pass me the ball. You shoot it nine hundred times a game. But Hasn't happened yet. And at only $7,000. Give me some Tyler Hero. Thirteen, fourteen, fourteen, twenty four, twenty one. It's kind of how many times he's hoisted that thing up there. He's going to need to shoot it. He's going to need to make it, obviously.

5:13

And I think he can tonight. Tyler Kuzma, another another savings guy. I kind of like he's only $5,000. And for Kuz, that's pretty good. He was down to eighteen minutes last game. But if we could get him up to where we like him, I you know, mid-twenties or high-twenties, low-thirties. I think that's good. That game was a blowout the other night, probably contributing to his low minutes. But, yeah, we've seen him put up thirty-plus in three of the five games.

5:43

So give me some Kuz at $5,000. I think if he gets into thirty, thirty-five, he's obviously going to be six X's tag. So give me some Kuzma. I like that. And then Miles Turner, another, I'll call him cheap center. I do like Miles Turner in this contest. He is $4,900. He can get there a variety of ways. He's had two games where he's had four plus blocks on the season.

6:05

So we're going to get those blocks and those rebounds and step out behind that three point line. It's he's due. If anyone's due, it's him. His last $10,300 pointers he's made. As many as hams made in the NBA. That's zero. So give me some Miles Turner. Hopefully he gets hot tonight, stays hot against this Cavs team. But this is a sneaky game in my opinion. I talked about six guys in this game. I really like this game tonight.

6:29

So give me some of these Cavs and Bucs. Next up would be my Memphis Grizzlies. Yes, those undefeated Memphis Grizzlies. Yes, those Cameron Boozer-led Memphis Grizzlies coming off a Triple-Double BonusThe triple-double bonus is extra fantasy scoring for recording at least 10 in three categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals or blocks. Take it on this Kings team. Hey, they're being the Sacramento Kings. What can we say? But since I talked about A-Cuff, let's talk about Cameron Boozer. Triple-double last time out. He's at a great price point tonight. I think, obviously, Cam Boozer.

7:01

In a really good spot coming home, a heavy or healthy, I should say, healthy favorite against the Sacramento team. Power forward eligible is $7,400 bucks. Give me some canned boozer. Todd Jerome's kind of the big question mark. I don't love Todd Jerome if he was to play because he's $8,400 bucks, but It's more of, hey, keep your eyes peeled for that. He is questionable tonight. But who I do like is going to be Cam Spencer.

7:26

I like Cam Spencer with or without Todd Jerome. Obviously, without him, he just shoots up the board. He played twenty three minutes last time out. Thirty almost thirty two DraftKings points. He's in a great spot. $3,700. You got to have. Some interest in Cam Spencer. And then that's going to be it for me on the Grizzlies side. Darius Acuff, goodness gracious, he can score with the best of them. We saw him detonate going through the lane last game.

7:54

I think that was against the Pelicans. He just tomahawked on somebody. Kids can score for sure. So give me some Acuff, $7,500. Zach Levine can score it for sure. $6,800 bucks. I like some of him. Sabonis, he's got to pay that big boy price tag on him. But, hey, listen, when you're talking about Sabonis, he's a rebounding machine. Last five games, fifteen, fourteen, fifteen, nineteen and eighteen rebounds. If we could get him popping in that points department, he'll be very good.

8:25

Let's kind of see what he's done. Oh, scoring the basketball. Only nine points. Only shot it seven times, but he shot it sixteen. Yeah, so, you know, we need some bonus to shoot it. Get some putbacks. Get some of those, not really a three-point guy, but get some of those in and around the basket. I do like Sabonis at only $9,400 bucks. He's in a good spot tonight as well. And then lastly, going to see if there's anybody else. Can't play Preston Shachua.

8:51

Goodness gracious. He's just ruined a lot of weeks this week, so I'm not going to go there. Next game up on the slate would be this Rockets and this Thunder team. This Thunder team is beat up. I don't really like many people on there. And then you talk about the Rockets, two guys I really like, or three guys actually, KD, And Shingun would be kind of the two big boys I like. Pay attention to Shingun.

9:17

He did miss last night, which opened the door for a lot of these guys to get more minutes. But it would be KD, Shingun for me. Shingun's averaging like . Twenty-five, like seven and nine on the season, something like that. He's balling. So give me some Shingun at . And then Tari Eason at . Would be the guy from the bench. He's going to go back to the bench tonight, I would assume. If Shingun starts.

9:43

But Easton was good last night, dual eligibility, got almost thirty four DraftKings points, played twenty six minutes. We know he's going to play. So give me some Tari Easton coming off the bench. And I don't really love anybody on the OKC team. So, yeah, that's a pass for me. And then the last game that we're going to touch on is going to be this T-Wolves.

10:04

And the Spurs just saw I think Stephon Castle has a migraine that came out like fifteen twenty minutes ago so pay close attention to that If he's out. But Wimby, I mean, Wimby's the man. Obviously, don't need me to tell you that. He's the best play on the slate tonight. $10,900 going up against his countryman, Rudy Gobert. But, hey, it's Wimby. Let's lock and load Wimby. He's going to have a good game tonight.

10:31

Don't see anything else I love on this Spurs team other than Wimby. And then the T-Wolves, they're just in dire straits. They've got no Ant-Man. Oh, I'm not going to say Rudy Gobert's name. He just can't score it. Never could really score it, but he really can't this year. LaMelo is just tough to do as a one-man band. So I'm going to be lower on this game than maybe some or most, but it's Wimby for me and Buss.

10:57

So just to recap, you know, tons of value on this slate tonight. I shouldn't say tons, but enough to get us through. I would say Cam Spencer, probably my favorite. He really becomes my favorite should Todd Jerome miss. And then Tari Easton's going to get those minutes, as he has as always. But if someone were to miss, he would go with the board. And with no Meecy, it would be Metkovic as well. So that's kind of my three favorite – salary-saving guys.

11:25

From the studs, it's Wimby, number one for me. I would say Shingun, number two. And then I'm going to say Sabonis, number three, as it relates to the studs. And then from the – I'll call it the mid-tier. I don't think he's going to get another triple-double, but I think Cam Boozers, Cameron Boozers in for a nice night. Darius Acuff in that same game.

11:44

Hey anything you can do I can do better rook I think they're going to be playing side by side then I'm going to go tyler hero tyler hero to get some shots up $7,000 bucks I think that's going to be the one right there all right that'll do it for you boy ham leave some comments in the in the section below down below see what you got we'll get you those answers and once again if you aren't a member head on over there now can get in for as cheap as twenty nine dollars for a month Less than a dollar a day to see what we got.
