But then Kobe Howard just bust onto the scene. You know, I've heard arguments that it was the coaches, not himself, keeping himself off the field last year. So maybe staying with Penn State when everybody else was leaving was the right decision for him. But then you still got to look at the Iowa State guys, Eskilsen, Sol, Ben Bramer. Sol's price at $3,400 looks super nice. And then on the Temple side, you know, big underdogs with a quarterback split.

So it's tough to swallow that pill, even though they're $5,000 and $4,900. But one thing that's intriguing is Kaveh and Mabson got more than twenty touches last week. And so with opportunity comes success. We talk about it all the time in college football. And then, you know, just a few names in the pass catching room for Temple. Colin Chase and Giorgio Bermudez, if you're familiar with Temple or familiar with DFS.

A couple of names you've probably heard before, and then just my favorite on the slate, Ryder Cush. How are you guys approaching this game? It appears to be one-sided, but there might be a run backBring-BackIn college football, a bring-back is usually a pass catcher or running back from the team facing your quarterback stack.Pick the bring-back who gains the most when his team falls behind. Yeah, you know, when I initially looked at Temple, I saw the kind of volume Mabson got last week and it kind of intrigued me. But, you know, I'm not really going to spend much time on Temple.

I'm not really interested, not really super interested in Penn State either. Like the running back room is a mess. That being said, Kobe Howard does interest me a lot. We're not really seeing that big ownership spike or price spike. I mean, I guess he did come up from seventeen hundred dollars, but there's a chance he still could be underpriced.

We've seen some Matt Campbell wide receivers, Iowa State have some big time success and be like volume target dogs. Yeah.

Think that's possible for kobe howard I mean that's also possible for std and soul as well so um still in on kobe howard the rest is yet to be seen yeah are you looking at this at all for cash again No, I just think when you look at the slate, I don't want to go to the Penn State side for a cast side, single entrySingle-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. When there's a lot of question marks kind of past there in the running back room, when there seems to be value in the receiver room, you look at where the other board has to say, I just don't think this is the spot to play it when you're looking to see that volume edge. Yeah, and just This is the first game we're talking about, which is, you know, it's, it just, there's a lot more on this slate upcoming that we're going to discuss.

It's going to be a lot juicier, a lot better for DFS, a lot better real life football too. And speaking of real life football, we have a game in Ann Arbor where the clocks are questionable. Oklahoma at Michigan, Oklahoma five and a half point road favorite, which I'm sure there's a lot of people that watch college football that want the Sooners to just blow the doors off of this Michigan team. They cruised against UTEP.

It's hard to take a ton from that because they were significantly better. But John Mateer looked really good, and this might be the cheapest we see him all season. And then we have the backfield, which is a little bit jumbled. Avant got the start, but it's basically him and Robinson leading the charge. And then Haddon and Blaylock have been dealing with injuries. So what their workload is going to be, whether they're on the field or not, is uncertain. And then Cetania, Trell Harris.

Pretty clear one, too. Rocky Beers had a touchdown last week. We had some Friday night beers. And then Parker Livingstone could potentially see his workload increase coming off of a concussion or at least being in the protocol. So maybe we see his role increase. On the Michigan side, it's weird. Bryce Underwood didn't look good. He's getting paid a lot of money. And Whittingham made comments this week that he's the quarterback right now, but it's not infinite.

And the backup is Tommy Carr, a name you might recognize. Michigan fans recognize the last name for sure, grandson of Lloyd Carr. Notre Dame recognizes the name, brother of C.J. Carr. So there's a little drama in Ann Arbor. I mean, Jordan Marshall, a little bit more solidified. He's just expensive for this matchup, and Heider could eat into him a little bit more. And the aforementioned J.J. Buchanan, the Hail Mary hero, looking good at $5,100. And Marsh is even cheaper, even more.

Like those two guys are probably the target share. I mean, they might spread it out a little bit, but those two guys seem like they had a clear grasp on it. Ian, a low total. It's tough to pull the trigger. There is a little bit of value though.

There's some value, but it's that classic spot of big-name game, probably the prime game of the slate, best football game that on paper we see two big-name brands, but not one that we want to necessarily touch. The numbers don't line up. The over-enders totals don't line up. The pace of the play doesn't line up. Just everything that we're kind of looking for when we look to build on a twelve-game slate just doesn't line up for a cash perspective on this game.

Yeah, great game, great name brand. A lot of viewers on it could have something to say towards the end of the year, but even with a little value with Buchanan, maybe Mateer is always going to be a guy that pops a little bit for cash. It's just the pace that these guys play that Michigan showed last week and Oklahoma's defense I would just scrap over this game. And again, we got some, we got some bigger ones to talk about down the road.

For me, like, obviously I've got to have some interest in JJ Buchanan. So last week I, you know, I don't know. There's just, there's a lot of options. That being said, I don't, I might run, like, I don't think I'm going to play Bryce Underwood or I'm not going to touch Michigan running backs, but I might run some Oklahoma, like some a tier with a pass catcher and then a Michigan guy like the Canada Marsh.

I actually really like Sategna at $6,500. He's kind of like I don't think he's overpriced, but he's not like cheap and it's a bad game environment. But he's a guy that like this whole offense could funnel through.

Um they played a lot of two tight end sets last week I mean obviously they were playing utep with the you know that was pretty much abysmal on both sides of the ball but satayna really intrigues me he returns punts too like there's just a lot of um a lot of outs for him like you see those twenty four points it wouldn't shock me if satayna got you know three touchdowns out of those twenty four points um Terrell Harris kind of interests me he didn't get his until later in the game last week and then As much as I love Rocky Beers and he was really good for me last week, I'm kind of staying away from those guys.

Lloyd Avant, I'm still undecided on because I thought he looked pretty solid and the price isn't crazy. I mean, if for some reason they... Lloyd Avant looks good again. They just rolled with him. There's some upside maybe for some volume for him. I don't know if you need to get that cute on this slate, but it's something I'm considering. And then, yeah, Mateer. Mateer actually had a pretty good game against Michigan last year. Michigan plays a lot of man coverage, and that leads to quarterback running.

And, yeah, I think he had, like, two-seventy-and-two and then, like, seventy-some rushing yards on a touchdown last year. So there is some, like... Yeah, it's... For a GPU player, I can find a lot of reasons to play people, but there's some spots on this Oklahoma side, I think. Yeah, and one thing, too, is as we go along, we're going to see a handful of guys priced higher and some good value at quarterback. And Mateer just feels like in that middle zone where...

It's going to be a little bit overlooked, maybe more of an ignored portion. We, we get a few guys in it every week. We zero was Noah Kim. And then the other thing too, I want to mention briefly at Ship It Nation.

If you're part of the Discord, we do a thing called stages on, you know, before big slates, typically on Saturday morning, an hour ahead of lock. Where we have some deeper discussions. And on Friday when Oklahoma played, they were a big part of the discussion because we saw ownership going one way. And we're just talking about Isaiah Satania and like, it's just going to be him. It was him last year. He had spike games and then he had a big game.

And like you said, the return game definitely asked that too. Arizona state of Texas A&M, very different looking Arizona state team. Cutter Boley in from Kentucky look good against bad competition last week. Kyson Brown is. Seems to be the guy in this running room. I don't really know who else it's going to be. And then we have some names that you'll recognize, not as Arizona State guys, but just guys from college football in general. Omarion Miller and Reed Harris.

Miller from Colorado, Reed Harris from Boston College. It feels like a clear one, too. And then we have Vines Bright like a diamond. A big discounted price. A guy who's just going to be on the field enough to where you can look at him in the three Ks. And then on the Texas A&M side, Marcel Reed, one of the expensive quarterbacks, is dual threat. He's a stud. He has upside week in, week out. Reuben Owens is intriguing.

$7,200 doesn't seem like it's high enough. He's due to get a pretty big workload on a team that is a fourteen and a half point favorite. Thirty two point team total. And then the wide receiver room, it's it's similar names we talked about. With A&M before, Mario Craver being the main one, Ashton Bethel-Roman, Terry Bussey still there, and then Isaiah Horton had a solid game last week as well. So a lot of big names and a big team total for Texas A&M.

Ian, we'll start with you. Just break down this game, how you're approaching it for cash. I mean, there are some guys that stick out at least a little more than the previous two games. Well, again, it's really interesting when you look at these games because both these teams played just lesser of the competition now. Now we've got to rely a little bit more on what the preseason reports were about who's going to play the bulk of it.

Still, from this perspective, Arizona State, from the numbers, big underdog, low team total. Probably not, even though they have some good players, guys that we know. Not really interesting to me at this spot. Just seems like a tough matchup going on the road, playing the heat in A&M. A&M, kind of good team, fringe playoff team. Marshall Rezo is a guy that we look for in cash. I just think there's better options this week, which we'll get to.

You know, the pricing is just priced up where it should be. Reuben Owens is also a guy that is true number one, two touchdown favorite, thirty two point team total guy by the numbers that we definitely want to look at as a cash consideration as well. Receivers. The nice thing about A&M is we know the ball is going. Reed likes to pass the ball to his top guys. Cravers, the top guy. Horton's the top guy.

That is really reliable for us when it comes to DFS because we can stack those guys knowing that he likes his favorite targets. But still not in the range. We're still getting there. We're still... You know, we still got some big things.

Um, you know, maybe read, maybe Owens, maybe if you want to, if you got some salad over one of those receivers is a good spot, uh, for the cash single entrySingle-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. Me, uh, me personally, I like Texas A&M as a whole this year, I'm a little down on for fantasy just with the loss of Colin Klein. Um, That being said, really the only one that interests me is Reuben Owens.

He didn't have as much volume. He might have more volume this week that we can't really project yet. So I'm kind of interested there. There's some really good running back plays on the slate, and he's kind of one of them, but he's not the top one. So there's a chance he goes overlooked. So I have some interest there. And then...

I I just can't talk myself out of like I love omario miller or reed Harris and like that's about it from Arizona state but I really like each of them separately it wouldn't shock me if one of them had ten or more catches Arizona state has typically fed their dudes um and both of them had good volume last week I don't I think it's going to be hard to predict which one obviously um maybe until we get some like more matchup data later in the season but I really like taking the shot on one of those two um in GPPsGPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. The start time is completely acceptable after last week there are several clocks you can look at doesn't really matter which one until it comes to crunch time then you pick the one that favors you the most and I was going to say you can make up for it by hitting the like Button but I assume you did if you're already encouraging others uh so Texas scratch DFS is is all over it despite the tardiness. It's all forgiven. But, Kenny, you mentioned Colin Klein.

He makes an appearance in this next game. Wazoo at Kansas State. Caden Pinnick is, I don't know, he's dual threat. He looked okay at times against Washington. $6,500 is a weird price, though, considering we have some guys in the five Ks and lower six Ks we'll talk about a little bit later. And then the running back room is just kind of a mess. A bunch of people touch the ball. Don't do a whole lot with it.

And this is going to be a tough matchup, just like Washington was. The wide receiver room is a little bit interesting because Daniels Blood was involved even before Tony Freeman got hurt. But now Tony Freeman is not going to play and Daniels Blood is $3,600. So you're getting a wide receiver one at sub $4,000 and then you have Darius Clemens and then Brandon. We'll just leave it at that. I'm not going to try to pronounce his name.

I've heard it said, and I instantly forget how to say it every time. So we'll just Ganesh, Ganesh Amorthi. We'll go with that at almost min price and probably going to see the field on the Kansas state side. Avery Johnson is going to be on the table. Even at this price, he's dual threat. My Heisman call from a couple of years ago that went South pretty quickly. Rodney Fields in from Oklahoma state. He was a starter last week.

With a thirty three and a half point team total, both he and Joe Jackson are going to project well in this game. And but you're probably getting a timeshare. Even if you get a lean one way or the other, it might only be like fifty five, forty five or sixty forty unless someone gets real hot in the wide receiver room. It's Tibbs and Manning looking to be the top two guys. Oakley and Cure is the tight ends. I don't know. It's it's they have three.

Stellar runners, so it does make it a little bit harder for me to pull the trigger on one of these receivers. And the pricing is just fine. I really want to play a Kansas State receiver, but I have no idea which one yet.

And the tight ends take a lot of volume too. I like Avery in GPPs this week. I don't think he's going to get over the own because he is kind of priced up relative to what other quarterbacks you have available. But I don't think I can take a shot with the receivers, um, running back.

So it's still an or on the depth chart, but they flipped fields and Jackson fields had more, uh, volume last week to started, um, Rodney Fields, he didn't catch a pass last week, but he did a lot of that Oklahoma State last year, so I think Rodney Fields is pretty sneaky here. I don't think... I think Kansas State's a really good one-off this week.

One of Avery or Rodney, just for the reason you talked about, Bill, how there's just a lot of mouths to feed in the Russian game. Washington State, we got a pretty good look at Washington State against a Washington team that looked abysmal, honestly. But... Yeah, Pinnick definitely has some rushing upside. He can definitely scoot. I just don't like the team total, really. And so I don't think I'm going to play any Pinnick, but I'm definitely intrigued to.

I don't know what to think of Kansas State's defense yet. I have really no opinion one way or the other. And so I think I'm just going to pass for right now. And then the running back room is obviously a mess. But Daniels Blood, for sure, just an SEC transfer, especially as the game went on. Pinnock was connecting with him more and more. Three hundred and six hundred bucks on trailing game script on the road against a big twelve defense that.

I don't really have an opinion about sign me up for Daniel Blood but that's really all I have to say in this uh this battle of like mountain cats cougars and wildcats yeah yeah and I seem to remember last year when when fields was at oklahoma state uh you had a call on him when he was like $4,200 and nobody was playing him like I kind of like him in this spot and like the third play of the game he had a seventy yard time reception just blew the whole thing up and it was I mean a real good look for Ship It Nation and hammock but yeah definitely That's where I think that pass catching nugget comes into play, even though I don't know if he had a target last week, but not a reception.

It's definitely on the table. I mean, you mentioned Colin Clown before. He's a really great play caller back home in Kansas State. I'm really curious to see what Avery Johnson turns into this year. Again, hard to know from what they had last week, but I am curious to see what Avery Johnson is because at his peak, he's a great DFS play. And, you know, maybe it pops this week, maybe it doesn't. But he is priced up a little bit.

But it may be worth a sneak peek there at Avery Johnson as just a really high ceiling dual threat quarterback with a really good offensive play caller, offensive mind as a new head coach this year. Really tough spot for Washington State coming off the Sunday game. Apple Cup rivalry, traveling across a couple time zones, early game in Kansas State. But yeah, blood is just priced way too low considering he is going to be the number one receiver there.

So definitely consideration there for your cash line gives you a lot of flexibility at the other spots there. Yeah. Yeah. There's, there's a lot of unknowns, especially because Kansas state played Nickel state last week. So they obviously look really good. Everybody who played an FCS opponent or even some of the G six opponents looks really good, but Washington state isn't the, isn't the elite of the elite or anything in the FBS level, but it's a much better team than they faced last week.

And we'll get a lot more answers on this wildcat team moving forward for sure. Another blowout, Oregon at Oklahoma State, a twenty three and a half point spread. Oregon looked pretty bad last week for a lot of the game. But you could argue they have an easier opponent this week than they did last week. You know, Boise State side by side with Oklahoma State or North Texas, depending on how you look at it.

Dante Moore had a great DFS game, but they also threw the ball thirty seven times. I expect him to throw the ball a good amount here again, but with, you know, if, if they play like they should, they shouldn't need to throw the ball as much. And there's a lot of quarterbacks and $8,900 is the most expensive quarterback on the slate, too. It looks like we're going to have a split with Davison and Hill. If you end up getting a seventy thirty in terms of production and you have the right guy, it could look really good with this kind of team total. But they definitely have upside if one of them happens to get two or three touchdowns.

Just not not as safe as a play as some of these other guys we're going to talk about and have already talked about. And then the wide receiver room. McClellan had a stellar game last week. He and Evan Stewart both had nine targets. DeCorey and Moore, still probably the number one in this room. Jamari Johnson is the one that sticks out to me, especially for cash being the price that he is and knowing the looks that he's going to get.

Those are the only four receivers that got a target last week. Again, we could see more of these guys if this game goes to script a little bit better than last week's game did. And then, like I said, Oklahoma State's basically North Texas. You could argue they're a worse team last year. They lost to Tulsa by two touchdowns in week one. Now, maybe that's just... Getting their feet wet in a new place.

But it's, I don't know, the chemistry should still be there with a lot of these guys. And it was with MestaMaker and Young. Wyatt Young still got nine targets. I do like that he's in the slot. He's just expensive on a slate that it looks like we're going to be paying up at running back in all likelihood. And MestaMaker at $6,300 again. The potential is probably there. This probably isn't the game for it, though. And then Caleb Hawkins at $7,000 flat.

Another guy we're going to probably want our eyes on throughout the year. It's just a question mark if you really want him in this matchup after what we saw, not only after what we saw last week, but going up against Oregon. And in the wide receiver room after Young, it's Coleman, who also got a good amount of targets. I kind of like him more because of his price. And then Barnes and Boat kind of rounded out Ian.

The heavy favorite has a lot of mouths to feed, and the underdog is just kind of a crummy-looking football team right now. Such a weird spot today with Oregon being a forty point team total and, you know, just really not really looking anywhere in a cash lineupCash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. Fifty-fifties, double-ups and head-to-heads are the common cash games.Treat cash games as the steady base of your bankroll. Use one safe core across your cash entries on a slate, and save riskier ideas for tournaments.Full explanation ↗ just because quarterbacks really priced up and everything else is really split. And, you know, maybe DeCorean Moore, maybe McClellan, but, you know, we don't. They're still kind of priced up compared to the slate.

So it's not really enticing as much as it would be otherwise, considering what their numbers are. And Oklahoma State's probably one of the more disappointing results from last week. Probably a lot of hype coming to North Texas, going north to Oklahoma State. A lot of expectations from a lot of guys that put up a lot of really good numbers last year that they just kind of fell flat. And this is not really a bounce-back spot for them either. I mean, they could pop off.

They could become what we expected them to be, but it's a really, really tough spot considering what they're going up against. So this is kind of a stay-away for me, which I hate to say with a forty-point team called Oregon. It's just we don't have any reliable volume there, which obviously we would love to have. And on the other side, I don't really want to touch a twenty-five-point underdog that just comes off a loss and facing a hungry team.

Yeah, Oregon is definitely tough because it feels like it's like split hard to guess. It's hard to guess or as hard as it is to figure out. Sorry, I had a hard time spitting that out. It was like the most consolidated. Like I remember seeing Oregon in week one. Like it was just like those four pass catchers, those two running backs and Dante Moore.

If this is more of a blowout might see some more rotation like I just can't I have I'm gonna have a heck of a time figuring out who I want to play from this team. Bill you kind of when you were talking about the you know running back touchdowns one thing about it. Deerhill if he does have two touchdowns those are probably going to come from far away.

So tend to like I kind of like some shares of him and then I mean Jamari Johnson kind of the easy pick for me just because he's the cheapest. I don't know if his role is really any different. Oklahoma State side, I love me a mess to make your double. I don't know if I love it as much this year as I did last year. I guess I can see this going a couple of ways.

I could see like for mess maker to succeed is Oregon and like Oklahoma State shows up, keeps it competitive. Like it goes back and forth. We see that North Texas from last year or Oregon kicks the crap out of them. It's forty two is nothing in halftime. They call off the dogs. The mess maker gets to chuck the entire second half. Like, that is a, like, legitimate out for him to be decent.

Like, I mean, I wouldn't put a pass or drop six touchdowns on Oklahoma State. They're super – I mean, they really have a really high pace of play. They could be, like, quick three and outs, quick three and outs, Oregon scores quick, and then it's just out of hand. But then I don't see Oklahoma State pulling the starters if they're down six touchdowns at halftime. Like, they're going to try to figure some stuff out.

So, like, those are the outs for Mestemaker that – I think it's kind of viable either way. This whole team is going to be unownedLeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. When that play outscores the popular option most lineups chose instead, you gain ground on those lineups, though the rest of your roster still decides where you finish.Look for leverage on players connected to the chalk, like the other side of a popular game or a teammate who can steal the popular player's touches.Full explanation ↗. Hawkins might get high singles, but I really don't see anybody signing up to play a really expensive Wyatt Young. And I don't really like any of these guys at one-offs. I like playing these all stacked. I have more interest in probably the general public, but I do see some outs here for some GPP stuff. Yeah, yeah.

Mestemaker last year was the moneymaker, and this year the emphasis has been more on the mess, but maybe you need the game to be a complete mess for him to get his upside. I mean, we saw it. That's good work, Bill. Good work, good work. Yeah, I got there. I can't tell you how long I was thinking about it while Kenny was talking. I did hear what you said, just I want to be clear.

But yeah, I mean, there is a little bit to like in this game. And now that Oklahoma State has their feet wet, I'm not saying they're going to necessarily compete with Oregon, but it could be a better product than we saw last week on the field against Tulsa for sure. Wake Forest at Purdie, tight spread, not a super high total, but at least a competitive game.

And we saw Wake Forest, a lot of eyes on Wake Forest being on a smaller slate last week, and they dominated for like the first half and then just kind of coasted in the second half. You know, Gio Lopez had a stellar game. He looked like a stud throwing the ball, had five yards of carry. Akron, obviously an inferior opponent. You could argue Purdie is as well. But at this price, I got to imagine he's going to see a little bit of ownershipOwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. $7,200 seems too cheap. The running back room is interesting because Ty Clark ended up getting there. He had a big run later on. He got the hundred yard bonus. But in the first half, In six drive, he had twenty seven yards rushing. So there are a lot of people pulling their hair out with, you know, Deuce Lawrence getting double the carries as Ty Clark, for the most part, getting more production than Ty Clark.

Then we have our resident Wake fan Monday in in our shipping community. And he says a lot of people like Deuce, like Deuce Lawrence might be the guy. So that's that's interesting. And you get a fifteen hundred dollar discount for a team that's favored. So. Some interesting stuff in the backfield. And then Carlos Hernandez in one half had five for one sixty five and a touchdown last week. Injuries, not a scare.

It sounds like sounds like he got the wind knocked out of him in an extreme way, just could never catch his breath. So they played it safe. But then Shanks and Meek, you're getting a discount again. Antonio Meeks had the big touchdown. Cam Shanks is on the field enough and you got $6,000, $5,000, $4,000, which is quite pleasing. Now, just not in order on the stone because we'll break down the fourth wall a little bit.

Meeks is projected for a little bit higher than Cam Shanks. On the Purdie side, we have Ryan Brown, who's sub $6,000 in a decent spot. A competitive game has a little bit of dual threat to him. He had more than seven yards of carry last year and added four rushing touchdowns. So. There's definitely upside, especially at this low price. Fahmy Ejiboy, prior to this week, PFF's number one graded running back in FBS football and a former Gopher.

He can catch passes in the check down game. It seems like he's the clear number one. Travis Terrell and Jarrett Gibson split carries behind him, with Terrell getting a slight nod. And then the wide receiver, Umasad Rasim and Xavier Townsend both had eight targets. They seem like the clear favorites of Ryan Brown, but Chauncey Magwin at $3,400 is going to get some looks as well. He's on the field plenty, but just didn't get the receptions last week. So we finally have a competitive game.

Ian, what are you like? It just. Yeah, this is probably the first spot we've been looking for. Just. Yeah, this is maybe the most stackable game so far.

Competitive game you know cheap affordable prices got some dual threat type quarterbacks um got some some decently floor um higher upside receivers as well to go with it uh yeah really interested in this in this uh quarterback receiver area here if you're trying to fill out cash line if you want to try to get a little bit different with a second quarterback in here I think either one of these two guys is a great option maybe a mid-tier guy the oh and geo and a lower price guy in Brown The receivers are really good too.

We happen to have some salary. Carlos Fernandez is a nice payout spot. Any one of those guys you mentioned, Meeks and any of those guys are really good as a second or third receiver target if you're looking to save some salary. Good spot. Numbers line up. Competitive game. Got some dual threat. Got some points potential. Got some affordable prices. Slate like this, Wake Forest-Purdue, this is what we're looking for here.

Yeah, I guess the vibe I get off this game is it's going to be extremely disappointing or it's going to be something that I don't have enough of. Like, I'm not playing the running back from either team. I'm forcing, like, I'm playing Gio Lopez, but I'm forcing him in a double stack. Like, I think for him to hit this ceiling on this slate, he's going to take two pass catches with him, and they're priced fine enough to do that.

And then, yeah, the Purdie side, when I'm playing Ryan Brown, I am going to stack them with Deceiver, and I'm going to double stack with Wake Forest. Like, it's going to be a whole game stackGame StackIn college football, a game stack usually combines a quarterback, his pass catchers and one or more players from the opposing offense.Target games where the spread is close as well as the total high. But, yeah, this game doesn't – I mean, maybe it's just because it's Wake Forest Purdie. It's a Demon Deacon. It's a Boilermaker. I don't know, but I just don't have much interest here.

Yeah, and it's going to be hard to tell who's who when you first turn on your TV because they're the same colors. They both have a non-animal. Name, but competitive game. We're going to get to way better games later, I think, but as we scroll through, this is a little bit of a breath of fresh air on this slate. Back to the double digit spreads. We have Alabama, Kentucky, Keelan Russell looked really good, obviously playing a much different team this week.

You know, but he's a guy that can get it done with his legs to let the team in rushing attempts and yards. But I think part of that, too, is because this running back rooms very, very congested and clustered. Daniel Hill and Treshawn Brown actually kind of led the charge in terms of volume. A decent amount and got five yards after contact on average. Kevin Riley was kind of the guy left behind. The guy squeezed.

He did get some time on the field, but nothing that you're going to write home about. And then just to throw another wrench into it, $1,000 Deer is on the mend. He's questionable right now, but he could very easily be the number one when he comes back. So I do have a lot of pause with this running back room, especially on top of the congestion with Keelan Russell being the runner that he is.

And then the wide receiver room, it's pretty clear Ryan Coleman-Williams, if he can catch the ball, is going to be a solid option, I think, week after week after week. Brooks and Scott got the snaps, just didn't really get the looks. And Caleb Edwards, a tight end, is great. But then Derek Meadows is very interesting to me. He got some run early, but didn't get most of his snaps until later on in the game. But on nine routes run, he got targeted on four of them.

So it's one thing. The fans want to see him more. He was a four-star last year out of Bishop Gorman. So the potential is there. It's just he needs the opportunity, I think. And then on a Kentucky side, Kenny Minchey in from Notre Dame, another sub-$6,000 quarterback. And then C.J. Baxter, Jason Patterson kind of split in the backfield. C.J. Baxter in from Texas. Got the starting nod, but it was pretty close to a fifty fifty split.

Baxter just happened to get the touchdowns last week. And then the best part of this team, Kentucky, the pass catchers, the two most targeted guys, both tight ends, Willie Rodriguez and Michael Skinner. But it's only six and four targets, so it's not not a huge number. But in a game like this, Kentucky with a new, very, very new look, it's not your Stoops Kentucky team. They brought in a couple of offensive-minded guys from Oregon and LSU to be head coach and OC.

And, I mean, Kenny, the quarterback, couldn't have a better name, right? Yeah, I mean, we got Kenny Minchin. We got Kenny Darby and Kentucky. How could a guy named Kenny not want some of these Wildcats? But, yeah. Yeah, and honestly, I do kind of like Kentucky. They're going to be virtually unownedLeverageLeverage is the edge you gain by rostering a play the field is underweight on, compared with how often it ends up in winning lineups. I think Willie Rodriguez is a really good tight end. I think they use him.

I think they want him to maybe be the vocal part of the pass game. This is just me spewing random opinions, but I really like some Willie Rodriguez in some stacks, like with Keelan Russell. Yeah. I also really like CJ Baxter. It was hard to get a gauge off the amount of volume he got last week with the blowout nature of the game.

But it wouldn't shock me if CJ Baxter had like, twenty to twenty-five opportunities and like, volumed his way into a respectable DraftKings score. And Kenny Minchey has some legs as well. Like, I have some Interest in these Kentucky guys. It's really gross. I don't know if I really want to correlateCorrelationCorrelation describes how two players' fantasy scores move together. Positively correlated players tend to have big games at the same time, usually because one player's success directly adds points for the other.When you build a tournament lineup, ask which of your players need the same thing to happen. I don't want to touch any of the running backs.

It's hard to figure out like it wouldn't shock me if Kroll ended up being the guy by the end of the year and we actually do get to play him. But right now I think it's a little too murky. Um, Keelan Russell like he had a really good Russian performance last week. He kind of got sniped at the goal line by the running backs constantly. There's a lot of upside in his fantasy score, and he had a respectable score last week.

But if he plays that whole game, he would have easily gotten a hundred rushing yards, I feel like. So I think the price discount here, I think he's a really, really good play. You don't have to pair him. That being said, I don't think either of these pass catchers at the top of the list here in RCW and Lozier Brooks are going to be garnered very much ownershipOwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. That's the thing this isn't your mark stoops kentucky of the last twelve years that's just boring like there's a chance that kentucky like can have some fancy relevance um so yeah I mean like this is real sneaky for me I'm definitely going to be overweight on this game as a whole probably nothing for cash though right Not really. Maybe you can talk yourself into Keelan Russell just because he's such a dual threat floor, high ceiling kind of guy.

I think Kentucky we're still waiting on to see. Willie Stein is the new head coach. He was the Oregon offense coordinator. You mentioned tight ends. Tight ends have always been a focal point of the Oregon offense. We want to keep that in the back of our heads down the road when Kentucky is going to be viable on the slate, which will be coming up down in the season.

Baxter is obviously talented, but maybe a one-off from one of those guys in Kentucky, maybe Keelan Russell, but this is a good football game to watch. Not something that we can track a ton of volume to right now at this point. Yeah, this is going to be a good indicator of what we can expect from Kentucky the rest of the season. And we'll be looking at them in the future. I'm sure they have Texas A&M next week. So I'm sure they'll be on the slate.

And I think playing Alabama will give us a decent enough gauge on how they handle, uh, know these sec teams and then unfortunately I doubt they're going to put kentucky south alabama on the slate after that but maybe we'll get lucky all right We can just can the rest of the show, honestly, because this is going to be the best game of the day. We have Mississippi State. The Bulldogs come into town against Minnesota. Kamario Taylor, absolute stud last week. We talked about it in our Discord.

He was our core quarterback. I think both you and I, Ian, had him in our initial core, and he paid off in a big way. This is going to be an interesting matchup because one of the strengths of Minnesota's defense is their edge rushers in the defensive line. And one of the weaknesses of Mississippi State is the tackles. So if the D-line is going to dominate, you want somebody like Kamario Taylor back there.

And I think he can still get there even at this price. He's talented enough. Fluff Bothwell is certainly capable as well. I imagine he's going to get a little bit more volume this week in a more competitive game. Colin Wilson will probably eat into his usage a little bit, but I don't think it's enough that it would shy you away from Bothwell in terms of raw production. It's just $7,500 is is going to cap his upside a little bit more.

And then Anthony Evans, probably not priced up enough. $6,100 is not only fair, but I think underpriced for him. Clear number one receiver targeted early and often. And the thing I like about him the most is the Gophers have strong cornerbacks, but they don't go down into the slot, which is where Anthony Evans plays. So I really like him even at $6,100.

Then you do get a little bit of a value with Reagans and Johnson, just not as much of a value on Reagans as you had last week. He was, I'm pretty sure, min price on the night slate. So definitely some things to love on this Mississippi State side. On the Minnesota side, the most interesting.

Embarrassing actually the second most embarrassing thing DraftKings has ever done the first most embarrassing was putting a slate on that showdown last night the second most embarrassing is pricing drake Lindsey at $5,300 um he's not gonna get you much with his legs but against the mississippi this mississippi state defense I he can easily get sixteen points and three x in the air it's a very safe floor I would think um so uh

A price play if nothing else for Lindsey and then darius taylor a top running back in college football even if he can't get there on the ground he's a pass catcher and he had I mean I know as an fcs opponent but they fed him a lot in that game and he still had three touchdowns the one slight concern I had is that eastern illinois had seven tackles for loss and five of them were against the starters uh so if I were to have pause with the gopher side that would be why And then I don't think Javon Tracy is going to return two punts again this week.

I mean, it's possible, obviously. But he is the wide receiver one, seems to be Drake Lindsey favorite target. I thought it'd be Jalen Smith being the one or two this year, but Noah Jennings in from Cincinnati. They've loved him at spring camp. They loved him at fall camp. They gave him some looks in the first game and he's $3,400 and likely the number two. And then Pierce Walsh at tight end had some touchdown upside, but that's about it. A little bit more.

A little bit more on the cash side in this one, Ian, than we've seen so far on the slate. Yeah, I mean, you covered so well in depth, I'm not going to add too much to it. Kamario Taylor is the kind of cash quarterback exactly we want to see. Close spread, really competitive game environment, pretty high total, complete dual threat guy, high upside, high floor. Love Kamario Taylor this week in this spot. Like you mentioned, fairly priced receivers on both sides.

Drake Lindsey, his price is just way underpriced. Again, like slight home favorite. Twenty and a half point team total. Quarterback with some pedigree. Just really, really good spotting. He's also, I will add, don't be afraid if you are playing this game to play Lindsey with... Darius Taylor, if you were asking that question, they are totally fine to pair together. Not only does Taylor catch a ton of balls, but Lindsey is so far underpriced that it's really okay.

It's a way to get the salary savings there, to get to the volume when Taylor is the volume that we look at. And Kamario Taylor is also a guy that you can play naked.

If you don't have the salary if you don't want to pay up to to stack with any receivers that's also totally fine to do with these guys um just the way that they play and the way it builds out um but really nice plays here really nice game environment for that yeah I um you know drake Lindsey like

Obviously so cheap I kind of think that he might be like overused like by himself I almost like forcing a double stack and a hundred and fifty build with drake Lindsey and of course darius taylor can be included in that um yeah not a ton to add I mean obviously you've got a resident golden gopher expert so I don't need to add too much there um and then yeah mississippi state the only thing really that I'd have to add is right raggins did lead this team in air yards last week um That's probably like if I play him and like, like raggins, Johnson or McGee, it's going to be, I'm going to force it with Taylor and only Taylor.

Um, that's a little too expensive for me right now, but boy, that's your ultimate pivot. So should be, should be something. I mean, that has overtime game written all over it. Um, Yeah, that would be phenomenal. And this is like for real life football.

This is going to be a little bit of an indication of what this season could go like for either team. I don't think either is a contention in their respective conferences. But if one side gets just blown out, it's not going to be a good look for the season. At the very least, you want this game to be competitive, which it looks like it's going to be. All right, and we talked about some underpricing. There's a little bit more in this game.

We have Arizona at BYU.

Not a great team total for Arizona, but Fifita is another guy who feels like he is in this eight to $9,000 range on small slates and then gets squeezed into the sixes and sevens for the bigger slates but he's definitely shown he's capable the running back room is weird because he got riscano he got Quincy Craig um names that were there last year and you see Ismail Mahdi who was just deemed eligible thanks to a temporary restraining order So he didn't play last week.

He's getting thrown into the mix. So the running back room is weird, murky waters. The wide receiver room is where there's some underpricing. Trey Spivey at $4,800, I think, is slightly underpriced, but even more underpriced is Giovanni Richardson. It's almost like DraftKings got messed up with the name change. He was Gio Richardson last year and he got a ton of playing time, had a ton of production. And now he's a min price number one.

I mean, you could argue he's number one, two or three because Chris Hunter is there as well. And he was a top option for a lot of last year. So three stellar wide receivers, one of them at min price just A pretty egregious misprice. And then on the BYU side, Barnett Bachmeier in the six Ks with rushing upside. LJ Martin should get a bulk of the carries anyway, but now Sione Moa is down two.

So that should feed even more usage his way. An $8,000 quarterback priced at $6,500. That screams cash to me. Maybe you get a little bit of Devon Ika and then Preston Rex is still there. And one interesting thing in the receiver room is Legend Glasker. Solid wide receiver had some production last week, but they also get him involved in the run game. So maybe we see that creep up with Moa not on the field.

But then, you know, Jojo Phillips is a familiar name at BYU. Kyler Casper's in from Oregon. And we also know BYU loves their tight ends. So Lions is on the table as well. Just not, it doesn't seem like a great game environment for DFS, but the pricing just and volume or the usage and pricing is what's drawing me here. Yeah, I mean, I'm talking uses and volume right there. That's where you speak the cash language.

And we got an underpriced number one, number two starting receiver, a min price guy, automatically consideration for cash there just because of he's going to be on the field. And we hope he gets targets because he's going to be on the field. And, you know, a couple of cashes can do it there. And then on BYU side, you got an underpriced dual threat quarterback who was an all-conference type player last year. He's a preseason all-conference type player, just kind of really underpriced.

And we have the preseason Big Twelve Player of the Year in LJ Martin, who has been a stud the last two years. It priced up way heavier than this on other sites. I'm not really sure why that price is that way. I don't know. I mean, unless somebody you should project to touch the ball twenty to twenty five times as a seven and a half point favorite. You know, it's not too crazy of a blowout. A conference game for both teams.

I really like to look there. I think you got some options on both sides of this game. I think the BYU guys are definitely worth a look at some one off plays. If you're trying to get a little bit different in some spots, LJ Martin is not going to get you very different in some spots. I think he, you know, he screams as one of our cash type running backs, but I think some of the other guys can get you a little bit different.

And that's more Kenny, what you think about that situation? Yeah. I mean, if you play LJ Martin, GL Richardson, you're definitely not getting different on this slate. That being said, those are like, I mean, really, when you look at the positions as far as the value goes, those might be the first two clicks from a point-per-dollar perspective. You know, BYU, the spread seems bigger than I would just generally think. I guess, I mean, LJ Martin obviously kind of speaks for himself.

Gloucester, I just, like, Parker Kingston had a really awesome role. I don't know if Gloucester's going to take that same role. Or if it's Phillips or Casper to me, I still think the debate's kind of out on that. Obviously, Glasker had five touches and three touchdowns last week. So clearly has some explosiveness there. And then as far as Arizona goes... Brendan Backroom's too muddled for me, but Spivey probably going to go overlooked just with Richardson.

I mean, he's a very solid play, too, but he's probably going to go more overlooked than he should. And last year, this guy, Trey Spivey, he survived on touchdowns. That's not really something you can quantify, but, like, there's – I mean, he's got a thirty-point upside definitely here. You know, trailing game script, tight game.

If you cannot name that scenario, rebuild it.Full explanation ↗ player Richardson's your crash plug and play salaries savings guy um and then you know I guess I will say Arizona's kind of been a little goofy with their wide receiver rotations um sometimes um but I feel pretty good about Spivey and Richardson and their roles beyond that not very confident so yeah that's this should be interesting hopefully lj Martin doesn't spend like half the game on the sideline coming in and out because he is coming off a soldier surgery I mean he's fine obviously cleared and everything but he just he seems like one of those guys just gets hurt all the time so yeah That's probably his biggest risk because we've seen it happen.

And then like, yeah, trace five, he's a guy I consider like a three, three, three guy, three targets, three catches, three touchdowns, a guy that goes overlooked. And then first drive of the game, he has one catch for seven yards and a score and it's over. If you have them in your lineup, like you you're lapping the field at that point.

Um, but yeah, a lower total that I do, I do think has some fantasy goodness, but now we're getting into some points, central Florida, Pittsburgh. Alonzo Barnett looks very, very good against a very, very bad football team. And he's got some dual threat to him. So it's $6,600. I mean, it's a good price for it. But I feel like a broken record. We have a lot of dual threat quarterbacks that feel underpriced on this slate.

The running back room is a little bit split. Duke Watson definitely seems like the number one and he's sub $5,000 and he can catch passes. But then Swint did get involved. Chambers got involved some later in the game as well. And then the pass catchers are a little bit spread out. Darian Wade do feel like the top options and they're cheap. But then we could see Dwayne Thomas back in the mix this week. And then, you know, Wade and Charles is still there.

All of these guys are cheap though. So, you know, if Dwayne Thomas is back, I don't know that I'm running to play him at $4,500. It would probably have more impact on these other guys for me. But then on the other side, another underpriced quarterback. Not dual threat this time, though. Mason Heinzel. Maybe the most under, like, might be more underpriced than Drake Lindsey is. Not expecting seven touchdowns again, but I wouldn't argue with you if you said that's what his ceiling is.

So, $7,600. Another one of those first-click sort of guys. It does look like Ja'Kyron Turner is going to be the one, but at $7,900, I just feel like on this slate, he's going to get squeezed. But with a thirty-one, almost thirty-two point team total... You get a touchdown and you get a touchdown and you get a touchdown. Seven touchdowns to seven different players in this pass catcher room. Hicks, Lee, and Knight are the guys, but we talked about it just last night, guys. Pittsburgh historically has like three guys, and you never know on a game-to-game basis which one it's going to be. Kenny, we'll start with you on the GPP side. How are you looking at this Central Florida-Pittsburgh game? Yeah, it's a really great game environment.

I guess kind of starting with the UCF side, I think Barnett might go a little overlooked, and he does. Like, Darian Wade, I do really like pairing them with Barnett. I really think that both of them could go overlooked on this slate. And it's really – so Pittsburgh historically has, like, a pass funnel defense. So really stop the run. They will allow you to chuck the ball. Don't know if that's as much the case this year just because we have, like, not one good game sample.

But generally speaking, so that kind of leads me, like, you know, to play the more the passing on the ucf side I think Duke Watson's a very fine play at $4,800 he's usually super efficient he's he's definitely a guy that can get there on limited volume especially at that price but that is like one edge you can play here as a Pittsburgh just likes to stop the run and and um has historically done that um you know heintzel the more and more I think about him like gosh if he's the highest owned quarterback on the slate like the like the nature of the slate you probably want like three hundred and three might not be enough for heintzel um

And I'm curious like I I think he's gonna be played by himself and like cash and small field type single entrySingle-EntryA single-entry contest allows each user exactly one lineup. It can be a cash game or a tournament.In single-entry, one or two contrarian decisions are usually enough. Pair a strong, popular core with a lower-owned piece instead of fading everything the field likes.Full explanation ↗ stuff where it's like cash type builds so I think heintzel like I'm really gonna over stack him and hope for a performance like we had last week um that being said and like turner I think it's fine kind of how like darius taylor was to be like in a double stack with heinzel like I think I'd still want a receiver regardless but if I'm going to get that double part I don't mind turner um desmond reed had some games where he was like the pass catcher you wanted to have with the you know whole scene at the time I guess um so it's not

Something we haven't seen before yeah turner I like the turner call Bill where he's sub five percent he's too expensive but it's a really good game script for a you know a seven point home favorite with a high um high priced running back that's going to be lower owned I I think that I'm in on that um don't we have a lean with the receivers like I guess me I don't think their roles are going to be all that dissimilar so I kind of prefer the lee and the knight and just taking the salary savings I will say Malik Nye is a – he's definitely more of a deep threat.

I can't remember all the stats off the top of my head, but I know he had two long touchdowns in the spring game. If you look at the stat line at Western Carolina last year, he had a really high yards per catch. So, yeah, he's kind of the – He's kind of a sneaky deep shot guy, but yeah, this is a really good game. I'm definitely going to have a lot of pieces of both of them.

I just want to be really careful how I do it to avoid being completely the same as everyone else. Yeah, and one thing I want to touch on. Go ahead, Bill. Just quickly, one thing I want to touch on because Hamwich mentioned Pittsburgh being a pass funnel. They played Miami of Ohio last week, not typically known as a passing team.

Like they're a slow, sloggy team and they still threw for two hundred and sixty two yards and had a seventy five yard touchdown pass against the starters of Pittsburgh. It was in the first half and that game was twenty eight, fourteen in the second quarter. So it wasn't a blow up until later. But if you have any questions about Pittsburgh's past defense, that's one thing we can take from a lopsided matchup, I think. And it's probably still not quite there.

Yeah, and realistically, one thing I was going to say that Kenny said was a lot of people are going to play credential solo. Which in cash lines, you're going to see that. You just got plug-and-play guys in there, one-offs with the high floor, high ceilings, that are really good cash plays that stand out in this game and the next game we'll talk about as well.

If you don't know which receiver to stack it with, maybe you play Barnett as your secondary quarterback as opposed to one of the other underpriced dual threat guys. Just different ways that you can go about playing some of your cash plays to get a little bit of differences because there's going to be some high ownership numbers on some of these guys this game and in the next game as well.

Yeah, when you see guys like heinzel that project really well have a super high ceiling and a super high floor it's not about whether you play him or not it's about how you play him when you do tambo our leader here at ship it has a saying it's not about who you play it's how you play them and that goes with pretty much every single sport in DFS college football is no stranger to it but you mentioned in this next game because there are a lot of points here as well cal at syracuse the age-old ACC matchup is what I think you called it.

Yeah, classic ACC rivalry. On the California side, we have Jaron Chiavi-Sagapulitelli, who's in that kind of weird zone of pricing again, but definitely has the upside. Adam Muhammad, though, if you thought L.J. Martin was a plug-and-play, this may be the best raw points and points-per-dollar play on the entire slate. He had thirty-five touches last week. In a competitive game, we're probably going to get a competitive game here.

And at $7,600, even if he gets two thirds of the touches, that is considered workhorse. So that's a name that we're going to be very familiar with when Cal's on slate. Probably going to be late night more often than not. And then the wide receiver room, some familiar names from other places. Ian Strong from Rutgers and then Chase Hendricks from Ohio. Underpriced, just both underpriced for their target share.

One interesting thing about the pass catching room, Mabson Mini looked good and would have projected very well this week as well, but Dorian Thomas is expected back.

He was out with an undisclosed injury but he's in from new mexico and probably tight end one immediately uh you know we might still see a little bit of a split so there's going to be some questions there until we see it um but on the syracuse side steve angeli coming off of an injury last year he's got a ton of potential here and his price is at $6,000 flat I mean a thirty point team total with a quarterback who can sling it and has a bunch of weapons The running back room is going to be pretty murky, though.

Talik Hill and Matt Otten are listed as the starters. Otten is a wide receiver on DraftKings, just FYI. Uh, but then Siobhan Anderson got early work after Hill last week. So he was in with the starters. Uh, and then you have a couple of guys in Juwan Johnson who finally figured out what position he wants to play after coming from LSU. And then Ahmad Miller, who was a stud at Jackson state, Johnson and Miller didn't play last week.

They could easily work into the rotation this week. Neither is on the injury report, both expected to at least be available. Um, so on paper, it looks like Hill's the number one, but I still think there's more questions in this running back room, uh, to be answered. And then speaking of questions, Justice Ross Simmons is expected back. Another min price guy who's proven it in the past and probably a starting wide receiver.

And Fran Brown was pretty convicted in saying that he is going to play on his radio show or the radio show he's on. But then you have Umari Hatcher, who's double the price, but he had a massive game last week. Cole Weaver is also going to be on the field. And the aforementioned Matt Otten, Is he going to be in the backfield? I mean, he's listed as an or starter, but he didn't see work until late last week.

But he also lines up from the slot from time to time. So a lot of points, but a lot of question marks. How are you approaching this? I mean, obviously, the score looks good for cash, but there's still a lot of things we need to figure out. I think you highlighted everything, and it kind of mirrors the game we said last time.

There's a lot of really good plug-and-play players here, a lot of really good just raw points-per-dollar plays here, a lot of good volume that we see here.

Mohamed, one of those top-tier running backs, strong Hendricks, top two receivers, and Jelly, three-and-a-half-point favorite, three-point team total, six-K passing, quarterback it's just it's kind of outrageous to be honest with you that you see that kind of pricing on a main slate like this with a min price again another min price starting receiver coming off of it so there's so many ways that you can play this game that's going to garner a lot of ownershipOwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. So how are you going to build each of these to be unique?

With these high ownership high correlated highly funneled uh really good volume plays in here that we're gonna see it it makes a really nice puzzle um even from my perspective when it doesn't seem as obvious because there's so many good options that are just thrown at us from the volume perspective yeah like and jelly I mean and jelly usually like Regardless the price of somebody that I'm always pairing or even like double stacking especially be surprised up But I don't think you have to this week with him just because of the unknowns in the wide receiver room like I Like obviously we're supposed to get a Ross Simmons back to what extent like nobody really knows I I'm probably just gonna as far as the receivers go.

I'm probably gonna play Hatcher and Weaver force them with and jelly and I'm going to force Angeli to be ran back with the Cal guy, but I honestly don't mind. And you can probably do this for cash, too. Just play Angeli and then Muhammad and Strong just to get the back and forth to that game. It's totally correlated, but I kind of like a stack like that.

I think the way I'm going to handle Ross Simmons is I'm not going to play him in my player pool. And when the afternoon games roll around, I'm going to kind of evaluate the situation more If we get some concrete info that he's starting, I'm going to go through and find some Geo Richardson lineups that are crap and pivot to Ross Simmons or even the UCF guys.

I don't think they'll get much ownership, but I think he's just kind of an afternoon pivot on a dead lineup for me right now to try to just completely sneak past everyone with a big performance from him. The Cal side, JKS is honestly too expensive for what he does as a quarterback for fantasy purposes. The only way I'm playing him is in a double, and I honestly don't even...

Usually, I wouldn't mind Muhammad and JKS ending up in a lineup together as a third piece to a double stack, but I really don't like it here because I think if that happened, they're both too expensive enough to where it would take away from each of them to where you couldn't get to where you needed to to win a GPPGPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)A GPP is a tournament whose prize pool is guaranteed to pay out in full even if the contest does not fill. Um, if Dorian Thomas is all the way back, I don't even know if I'll play many. I might just like force JKS with just those two receivers. Um, but it kind of feels wrong not taking a shot on JKS and a hundred and fifty build. Um, Muhammad's probably my favorite running back on the slate.

Like when you consider matchup and, um, volume and everything like Martin like Martin and even like taylor like or even shepherd we're about to talk about like the matchup is a little scary this one seems like the safest and it's still not necessarily the best Yeah, I guess I just kind of realized we had all these guys right in the afternoon. But, yeah, that's all right there. Well, one game after another. But, yeah, that's really all I have on this game.

It's a great, like, game-set game. Just, gosh, I wish we had more clarity in the Syracuse receiver room. Like, I mean, and even, like, Tyson Russell, like, if I'm not getting my guys confused, I feel like he was, like, a top-five wide receiver prospect. Like, he might even have been a five-star someplace. No, it's the other Russell. Oh, okay, okay. Yeah, the other Russell. He's still out. He's still hurt. Okay, that's what it was. Okay. I was like, why aren't they playing that guy?

That guy's on the basketball team too, but he's out still. Okay, sweet. Well, that's all I have there. Yeah. And one thing you mentioned that's super important, we have two min price wide receivers that should not be min price at their peak. Like if they're fully healthy and getting their usage, Ross Simmons and Richardson should not be min price, but one of them is garnering ownership.

So It's a perfect opportunity to pivot, especially like you said, if you're behind and you need a pivot for the afternoon games. We saw it in week one, the weekday, between Trimble at Illinois, who we'll talk about in a second, and then Antonio Meeks. Both men priced, both in similar spots, both on favored teams, and it ended up being Meeks when all the ownership went to Trimble. So it's not an apples-to-apples comparison, but I think it's close enough that it's worth mentioning.

And yeah, I put on X that... It feels like a week that I'm going to be at the bottom for a few hours and then hopefully surge once the two thirty game start, at least early at early looks. And the last game hit the like Button before we get out of here. And if you guys have any last second questions, throw them in while we talk about this last game, too.

But Duke at Illinois, a game that Duke got spanked at home last year, we thought was going to be a lot closer and just was not. Here's where you decide if you're going to go dumpster diving. Walker, you get priced like a temple quarterback. But maybe worthy of it because if they're just going to hand the ball off to Nate Shepard the entire game, what's the difference? Why do you even need a quarterback? So, yeah, Nate Shepard obviously a stud last week.

Definitely a workhorse. And then the pass catchers, We'll just go as the game plan goes and go as EGA goes. I don't know that there's any one particular guy that sticks out to me, especially with how the game went in week one against what appeared to be an inferior opponent. And now this week, they have a tough matchup on the road in Illinois, a team that handled business last week. Caden Houser actually got a price dock, even though he performed really well.

And they still have a twenty nine point team total. So $7,400 middle ground probably overlooked, but definitely has the upside for four, maybe then maybe even five acts if they if they throw the ball a lot. But then Khalil Valentine and Aiden Lafferty are in a split. But Valentine did seem like the number one, one A out of those guys. And then another pricing position. I just don't understand Colin Dixon and Hudson Clement not getting priced up.

Love both of them as cheap as they are. Colin Dixon should probably be in the six to seven Ks and Clement should at least be in the five Ks. And then the aforementioned Trimble didn't do a whole lot last week, but still on the field, still got some targets. So at $3,300, he's one of those guys that's not going to get a ton of looks because of the other $3,000 receivers on the slate. But how are you approaching this game?

I mean, it's still a decent total and competitive game. There's still a lot to love in this game, especially, I mean, Nate Shepard is expensive, but still catching eyes in cash, right, Ian? Yeah, I mean, there's obviously two, I think, in favor of those two obvious catch plays. Nate Shepard touched the ball, I think, like, four times last week. Wouldn't expect anything less. The whole offense is going to run through him.

It's a matter of are you willing to take the stand against them if you want to fade Duke, and that would be the fading of Duke because they have the lowest team total, biggest underdog of those guys that we mentioned at the running back room, and he is the highest-priced one. He's definitely a cash consideration guy. He's going to be in a lot of the lineups. He's going to be very heavily owned.

He, he is the definition of a cash play running back. I mean, that's just kind of how it is. And then Colin Dixon, the same side of the other side of the receiver, very fair priced, underpriced target hot top receiver of a past passing quarterback. I mean, everything you want, those are, They're going to be highly owned, so you've got to make decisions there.

There's a lot of decisions to be made, a lot of funneling, but those are going to be hard guys to pass up. When it comes to building on a cash flow, again, it comes to the question of how do you build them, how do you play them, and how do you take risks with them or around them.

Yeah like duke just I don't know if you you're a little handier than me Bill but I feel like they ran like an obscene amount of plays last week like up in the eighties I could be wrong and then shepherd shepherd had like forty carries but was on the field for like fifty snaps I guess it was just kind of a weird thing. I can't remember exactly how that shook out, but this Duke team, Walker Egott sucks.

I can't believe I even played a little bit of him last week. Like I just, I knew he sucked and I just got, I'm like, Oh, please. Do you have this? And then yeah, I got sucked into that. And I'm not, I'm not making that mistake again. Nate Shepard. I mean, obviously the volume is huge, but I think Duke – like, what does Duke do when they get in the third and eighth? Like, are they going to hand it to Shepard and, like, play he gets eight yards?

Like, I don't – I just think that this is like a – I think Duke kind of sucks besides, like, Nate Shepard, and I think it's just a bad, like, environment for him to, like, really succeed. Like, he's the most expensive – I kind of tend to lean that everybody's going to start to feel that way as Saturday morning rolls around because it's a lot easier to play the two guys that are a few hundred bucks cheaper. LJ Martin, he's almost two grand cheaper. But yeah, Duke, I'm not very thrilled about them. Illinois, so I wasn't really interested in Houser.

He did have a rushing touchdown last week, but These receivers are just, I mean, they're projecting so well, and it's more of a, like, guys are hurt, and they're going to have more volume rather than them, like, just being, like, Illinois having, like, a high-volume passing attack. I still really like both of them, or both the two top guys there. They are going to pull some ownership, so I don't really know how to handle it.

I think Houser might get pulled because of them, just the natural stacking of them. I don't really know what I want to do with Illinois. It wouldn't shock me if Illinois just kicked the crap out of Duke. I don't know. I think Duke's really bad after that performance last week. This seems like the least likely to shoot out of the three games previous to this one. I don't know. This doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy. Yeah. And they did run seventy five plays.

Nate Shepard had thirty five carries and three catches. And to answer your question, just scrolling through the play by play, when it got to third and long, they they had a couple of passes. But I'm seeing like third and twelve. Nate Shepard, twelve yard run, third and nine. Nate Shepard run for two yards like they're running the ball and third and long. So. I mean, they're going to run him into the ground.

He better be the most durable college football player in the nation if they're going to keep doing this. Yeah, yeah, that that covers the slate. I do want to quickly do one more plug because we have a nightstone as well. So we're not just covering the main slate. We do cover the night slate. Obviously, this stuff gets finalized a little bit later. But we do have full coverage Saturday, main and night slate for college football.
