From the archive. This breakdown is for the Saturday, November 7 NBA slate. Salaries, weather and picks were for that day.
Ryan Davenport breaks down the five-game DraftKings slate, prioritizing Nets-Hawks and the Knicks for lineup pieces. Julius Randle ($7,500) stands out for his expected 30-plus minutes and time with the ball. Nolan Traore at $4,800 and Day'Ron Sharpe at $5,100 are two favorite values, with Michael Porter Jr. also drawing interest. Dyson Daniels and Onyeka Okongwu lead the Atlanta options, pending news on Jalen Johnson.
Jalen Brunson ($8,200) and Karl-Anthony Towns headline the Knicks, while Landry Shamet ($4,200) offers strong value without Josh Hart. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the top-priced spend-up, with Ajay Mitchell and Kyshawn George also appealing at their salaries. Alex Sarr becomes a value option if Anthony Davis sits. Anthony Black, Stephen Curry and Brandin Podziemski are the preferred Magic-Warriors pieces; Houston draws more interest than Phoenix, including Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun.

Systems go. Clear for liftoff. What is going on, Ship It Nation YouTube station? We are back with another edition of the NBA Quick Hit Video. It's your boy, Ham. It is Saturday, November seventh. We got a five game banger over on DK to get you home tonight for this Saturday night. Great day of college football. Man, can't wait to watch some of these games. We're here to talk NBA. And if you aren't a member over here at the nation, head on over there.
Now you can get in the NBA for less than a dollar a day. That's right. One dollar a day, twenty nine bucks for the month. We'll get you all the NBA action that you want for the month. See what we're about. And you can also get in the Discord. If you want to pay fifty nine dollars a month, you can add on SaberSim dot com to that as well. But as I alluded to a minute ago, it is five games.
We're not going to go game by game, but we'll kind of pick some of these pieces out from some of my favorite games. That we have on the game on the day. We'll start out with that first game. It is the Nets and the Hawks. The Hawks coming off, I'll call it a big-time win against our former mate Trey Young last night. Let's kind of look at some of the pieces over there. NWA has been balling, but he is $7,200 bucks now.
Dyson Daniels with a near Triple-Double BonusThe triple-double bonus is extra fantasy scoring for recording at least 10 in three categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals or blocks. In DraftKings NBA Classic, it adds 3 points on top of the player's statistical scoring and double-double bonus.Check how often a player reaches all three thresholds in the same game under a similar role. Separate averages for points, rebounds and assists can overstate the likelihood.Read the full definition of Triple-Double Bonus last night. I do like some Dyson Daniels for the Hawks. Give me him. He's probably my favorite. Jalen Johnson did miss last night, so interested to see what they say with him. And then give me some Okonwu at $6,800 bucks. Don't hate that. And man, the torture chamber, Lou Dort, just absolutely cutting up last night. I don't love him tonight, but I thought that was funny. If you watch the show yesterday, we had some Lou Dort back and forth.
But for the Hawks, it would be Dyson Daniels and Okonwu would be my favorite, too. And then we'll see what Jalen Johnson does. And then on the flip side, there's tons of value, not tons of value. There is some value over there, in my opinion, that also makes Two guys that I like. So let's just start with the value. It would be Nolan Traore at $4,800 bucks. I like him. And then the man holding down the middle day, Ron Sharp at $5,100.
Two of my two of my more favorite call ValueValue is the fantasy production you expect from a player relative to his salary. A value play offers more production or upside than his price suggests, whether he is cheap or expensive.Identify why the salary looks wrong: workload, matchup, scoring ability or a pricing error. Then check whether that reason still holds when you submit your lineup.Read the full definition of Value plays on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate. And then Julius Randall's popping off the page today. He's only $7,500 bucks. Give me some Julius Randall. And then for $7,300. Don't hate MPJ MPJ. Obviously, we know that he can hit the threes. Let me just take a look at some things. MPJ at $7,300. Yeah, coming off a seventeen. Yeah, I mean, seventeen, thirteen, sixteen shot attempts in his last three games.
Forty one Fantasy PointsNBA fantasy points convert a player's box score into a DFS score, including points scored, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and turnovers. His basketball point total is only one part of his fantasy production. Before trusting an average, check which games it includes and whether the player's role has changed. Separate repeatable opportunities from a few unusually productive games.Read the full definition of Fantasy Points. The thing with Julius, he's just going to be out there. Thirty plus minutes going to have the ball in his hand. So give me some give me some Julius Randall. So tons of Nets and then and then two MAIN Hawks that I have some interest in. Next game up is the Cavs. Cavs, big win last night, almost a must win, if you will, playing against the Seventy Sixers, beat them like a drum.
Coming back, now they get the Knicks in the rematch of the Eastern Conference Finals. Jalen Bronson sticks out to me like a sore thumb, only $8,200 bucks. Mikkel Bridges, some good value there at $4,800 bucks. Cat $8,500. No Jared Allen last night. So if he were to miss again, which I think he is, give me some cat. But I like cat weather without some. Some Allen O.G.
Ananobi, $6,300, then Landry Shamit, one of my one of my favorite. One of my favorite plays on the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate tonight with no Josh Hart. Josh Hart was, he was announced that he was going to miss yesterday. $4,200 bucks. And then what about my boy DK? Mr. $3,200 Dalton Connect. Shout out Tennessee. Don't like Dalton tonight, but glad to see he's landed on his feet. Hopefully he finds a home there in New York.
But yeah, this Knicks team is loaded tonight in terms of DFS players. Jalen Brunson, Cat would be my two favorite. Landry Shammott, super good value on that slate. On the other side, I don't really like much of this. Matt talked a lot about it yesterday. Mitchell just looks different this year, doesn't have that explosiveness, doesn't really have that pop. But it would be Mitchell or Harden, and then nobody else really for me. So I like the Knicks in this game.
They are five-and-a-half point favorites as well. I like the Knicks at five-and-a-half, and then I don't really like any Cavs on this game. Next game up, Wizards, Thunder, both played both on the second game of a back-to-back series. So obviously want to pay close attention to that. SGA, highest price player on the slate at $10,400. He's in a great spot. A.J. Mitchell, goodness gracious, what are you doing, son? Just absolutely balling out there.
He was cutting up last night against those Memphis Grizzlies. I like him as well, $6,600 for his role and the amount of times he shoots it. I like that. And Kenrich Williams would be some salary relief over there. Kenrich Williams would be the other one. Then on the flip side, it'd be Keyshawn George at $5,900. He had a good game last night. Price still too low. A.D. Missed last night, so pay close attention to that.
I don't know if that was – I do know he was kind of a little bit beat up, but was it also, hey, we play again tomorrow night and they want to save him for this Thunder, so keep your eye on A.D. If A.D. Were to miss, Saar at only four, eight hundred bucks is a great play. Saar, four, eight hundred bucks would be in consideration for sure. That would kind of do it for those guys.
And then the next game that I want to look at real quick is going to be this Orlando at the Golden State Warriors. So, yeah, give me some black. Don't really like anybody else for this Magic team, just based on their price, not paying $8,700 for Franz. So it'd be black for me for the Magic. And then Stephen Curry looks good. $8,400. Podzinski looks good at $6,800. OK. And that's really it. No Lindenburg at $8,000.
That's too expensive for me. Draymond Green, no thank you. Yeah, not getting any of these other Warriors. So it's Black, Curry, Podzimski for me in that game. And then the last game up on the MAIN SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. It determines which events your player selections can come from and which performances count toward your score. Before building, open the contest details and check the included events, scoring period and lock rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate tonight would be the Rockets taking on the Suns. Revenge game for Dylan, the villain, Dylan Brooks. But yeah, let's look at this Rockets team first. Ahmed Thompson, sixty nine. Don't hate that. $6,900.
Then you obviously got Durantula taking on his former team as well and telling the owner not to worry about him. So KD at seventy four. Shingun, Alperin Shingun at $8,900. I like that as well. Then on the flip side, man, it's tough to play these sons. Just looking over here, don't really love any of them. I mean, I guess Dylan at $6,300. If he had, he's going to chuck it up there.
I think he had twenty some odd points last night, real life points, but. Yeah, not much to love in that. So for me, it's like the best game. And I hate this because I don't normally like playing, um, the Nets, but I got, you know, four Nets that I'm interested in two Hawks, pretty much all the starters on the Knicks, no calves.
So, I mean, if I'm looking at a game, it's going to be this first game, which sounds gross, but it is only a five game SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. You know, some Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up with SGA. But, yeah, that'll do it for me. If you've got any questions, head on over to the Discord. Happy to answer any questions that you have in the Discord or leave me a note in the chat.
If you loved it, if you hate it, hey, leave me a note. Just let me know. And then, yeah, if you aren't a member, like I talked about earlier, head on over to The Nation. You can see my boy, Tambo. He's front and center. When you come over here, if you haven't been to our site before, then you can scroll down and look at all the packages, where they go. Here they go. All the packages down here.
You can come in here monthly on the NBA. You can look at that for sure. Just click on here for the monthly package. Like I said, twenty nine bucks and then you go forty nine if you want to do the SaberSim of the core. I think I said fifty nine earlier, but it is forty nine over there at ShipItNation.com. That'll do it for me, your boy Ham. Good luck tonight in those contests.
I hope to see the top of the leaderboards just tonight.
