NFL DFS Week 7 Cash Game Countdown | DraftKings & FanDuel DFS Strategy and Optimal Builds

Aired Fri Oct 23, 2026 Hosts NFL DFS Week 7 Cash Game Countdown: Zach Trivett Runtime 12:18 Chapters 12 Views 252

The Short Version

Zach Trivett breaks down the Week 7 cash pool, with clearer decisions on FanDuel than DraftKings. Christian McCaffrey ($7,600) is the DraftKings running back priority, while Jahmyr Gibbs ($9,800) takes priority on FanDuel because the salary gap shrinks and his touchdown upside stands out. Bo Nix offers DraftKings savings, but Jordan Love is the FanDuel quarterback choice. Three running backs are the preferred FanDuel construction, with cheaper starters available when needed.

George Kittle ($6,500) is the preferred FanDuel tight end, while Tyler Higbee offers savings on both sites with Davante Adams and Terrance Ferguson out. Double tight end is viable on DraftKings. Puka Nacua is the preferred receiver spend, but fitting him requires sacrifices elsewhere. Matthew Golden and Jalen Coker are the likely receiver starting points. Titans defense is the clear FanDuel choice, with more flexibility on DraftKings.

Plays Mentioned

PlayCallThe TakeAt
VALUE At $5,000 on DraftKings, the dome matchup against Arizona offers a get-right spot while leaving money for other positions. 1:52
CORE The DraftKings running back priority at $7,600 saves $2,200 from Gibbs, although playing both is possible with cheaper pieces elsewhere. 3:05
VALUE A starting back at $5,900 on DraftKings with expected touches and home-favorite status, also included among the FanDuel savings options. 3:29
VALUE A starting back at $5,600 on DraftKings with expected touches and home-favorite status, also included among the FanDuel savings options. 3:29
VALUE At $5,300 on DraftKings, he supplies further savings but sits a tier below Allen and Marks. 3:29
McCaffrey's savings and Gibbs are preferred for cash, but Robinson remains possible alongside McCaffrey when Gibbs cannot fit. 3:55
PAY UP The preferred receiver spend at $8,400 on DraftKings should have the offense running through him without Adams, but fitting him requires sacrifices at other positions. 4:21
CORE A likely lineup inclusion at $6,000 on DraftKings, with missed opportunities behind last week's production and a relative preference for him on DraftKings over FanDuel. 4:21
VALUE Identified as great DraftKings value and included among the preferred receivers, while the $5,600 FanDuel price draws a more tentative response. 4:45
VALUE At $5,500 on DraftKings, his price is as cheap as it gets and he remains in the preferred receiver pool. 4:45
The $4,300 DraftKings price is considered among the difficult receiver savings options without becoming a preferred click. 5:14
Described as a full punt at $3,400 on DraftKings without a firm commitment to use him. 5:14
Played a lot, but there is uncertainty about trusting him in cash games. 5:14
VALUE With Adams and Ferguson out, $3,500 on DraftKings and $4,900 on FanDuel provide savings that can help fit more expensive players. 6:26
Buccaneers DST Floated as an almost full DraftKings punt, although finding another $400 for Tennessee would feel better. 7:12
CORE The planned FanDuel quarterback at $7,600 is close to the top of SaberSim's projections and costs only $400 more than Nix; he is also a preferred DraftKings option at $6,000. 7:39
CORE The FanDuel running back priority costs only $1,100 more than McCaffrey and offers more touchdown upside. 7:39
CORE A likely receiver starting point alongside Golden, with the relative salary savings making him preferable on FanDuel. 9:52
CORE The planned FanDuel tight end at $6,500 is too cheap, while his $5,700 DraftKings salary compares favorably with similarly priced receivers and supports double tight end. 9:52
Titans DST CORE The clear FanDuel defense choice sits $200 above minimum against Deshaun Watson at home, with a tentative preference for its $2,600 DraftKings price as well. 10:38

As you can see, we do have a new website over here at Chippin Nation. Very smooth. If you do want to check us out, see plans and pricing. That'll drop you down and you can find monthly and annual. The longer you're with us for the annual, the more savings you do get. We also do have per sports. As you can see, NFL down below, twenty five dollars a month. Just four dollars more if you do want to add SaberSim. Less than a dollar a day.

1:27

You can find monthly deals as well. So anything you need, we have you covered. I do think the starter deal is the best. And we are going to start on DraftKings at the quarterback position. I do think it's a relatively difficult Week for Cash.

1:52

I think a little easier on FanDuel than DraftKings, but that's what I like to see. So, talking the quarterback position... I think it's relatively narrow, but still little options. Bo Nix at $5,000 looks way too cheap with the nut matchup against the Cardinals in a dome. It has not been good for Bo Nix one bit, but if there's ever a get right spot, this is the Week $5,000 allows you to Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up at a lot of other positions, which you'll be looking to do so.

2:17

So. I think Bo Nix at $5,000 is very much in play. If I could find the $1,000, though, which I very well might be able to. Jordan Love at $6,000 in the highest total Game. Going to Ford Fields in the Dome. Love looked great last Week. Finally getting more protection up front. And he could have had a lot more points if if Watson Watson drop is tipped a little bit. But man, Golden had a couple of really bad drops.

2:40

Ideally, I will be able to play either Jordan Love $6,000 Bo Nix $5,000. I wouldn't hate C.J. Stroud. Either at $5,700 in between either implied for twenty seven points at home. So I think he'd be fine as well. Right now, that is my quarterback Player PoolA player pool is the set of players you consider using in your DFS lineups for a slate, the games or events included in a contest. Pretty tough, pretty tough, I say, in the sense of like I think I'm playing Christian McCaffrey. Seven point $6,000 is an absolute joke.

3:05

You see nine point $8,000 for Jameer Gibbs. The $2,200 gap goes a long way on DraftKings. You can play them both. If you do so, you're probably playing Bo Nix and then we'll get to some other positions later. We are going cheaper. But Gibbs is in play, but McCaffrey is my priority. It'll differ on FanDuel. After that, I do think there's a plethora of other options. In the mid-tier, Kyron Williams at $7,000 looks good.

3:29

Chupa Hubber at $6,700 looks solid. Then if you are looking for more savings, Braylon Allen, $5,900 and Woods Marks, $5,600. Two starting running backs. I will also add Tony Pollard at $5,300 as well. If you need even more savings. Three starting running backs that are in the $5,000 range that are going to get a good amount of touches. Not sure we need Pollard. He is a tier below, in my opinion, Woods Marks and Braylon Allen.

3:55

You can see both Braylon Allen and Woods Marks home favorites. And that sets up pretty well for running backs. Going to the, and yeah, like Bijan, I just don't think it's the SlateA slate in DFS is the set of games, races, fights or tournament rounds covered by a contest. I'd rather go McCaffrey for savings and then Jameer Gibbs to find the money. If you can't, I know there's a big enough gap between Gibbs and Bijan where you could go Bijan, McCaffrey, and then one of these others if you want. Receiver, it's tough like it always is.

4:21

Puka at $8,400. If I'm going to Spending UpSpending up means choosing a higher-priced player over a cheaper alternative, using more of your lineup's salary budget at that spot. You may also hear it called paying up.Build a version with your preferred expensive player and another without. Before choosing, check whether either version relies on a cheap player whose expected role still depends on unresolved injury news.Read the full definition of Spending Up, I will want Puka. Still way too cheap for this matchup. No Davante Adams. Everything's going to roll through him. But again, it's expensive and you have to make decisions, which I like for DraftKings. The two that I love the prices on, Golden, $6,000, Jalen Coker, $6,100. Fire them both up. I'm not going to call them locks. More than Likely, I will end up with Matthews Golden, though, or probably at least one of them.

4:45

Again, really good spot for Golden. Had a lot more opportunity for a lot bigger stat line, even though he did great on Sunday night. Yeah, a couple of bad drops. Some others, Zay Flowers in the mid-tier, totally fine with. More than Likely, that would be if I'm not able to get to Puka. Going more mid-tier stuff. KC Concepcion looks like great value. Waddle, $5,500, as cheap as he can be. Carnell Tate, $5,100, very cheap. Igbuka, $5,700.

5:14

He did practice today, so he should be playing. I think he is fine. It's tough when we need value. Amari Cooper, I don't know, maybe. Kendrick Bourne. Not my favorite click, Godwin at .四ty-three hundred. Jacoby Lane is a full punt, . $3,400. Savion, not sure I can get that in Cash, even though he did play a lot.

5:35

I do think receiver is tough, and ideally I'll be able to play like a Puka, Golden, Coker, Concepcion, Zay Flowers, Waddle of the world, but I think I'll be coming back to receiver as one of my last spots to fill out this Week. Part of that is because tight end I do think is – Pretty clear in the sense of like, I guess not pretty clear. George Kittle, ideally, I can get on Fandu. I think he has more of a priority. Still, $5,700.

6:00

When you're comparing him to like the wide receiver prices, who's $5,700 to Buka? Give me George Kittle all day long. Jalen Waddle, give me George Kittle all day long. So double tight end is in play this Week. You're definitely not playing for receivers. I do think Kittle, even though he is the third highest priced receiver, Turns out to be a very good value. There are savings, though. Tyler Higbee, again, no Davante Adams and no Terrence Ferguson still either. Only increases Higbee.

6:26

$3,000 five hundred is a very good price tag over there for him. I don't think you're going to get to the Kraft LaPorta range since it's either Kittle or Higbee. I think Mark Andrews is fine at $3,900. Kate Otton at $3,100 is fine, but I think you're probably playing one of, if not both of Kittle and Higbee is how I see the tight end position right now. As far as defense.

6:49

Yeah, not clear, but just sort of by OwnershipOwnership is the percentage of lineups in a contest that include a given player. Projected ownership is an estimate made before lock; actual ownership is posted once the contest locks.Ownership isn't something to avoid; it's something to build around. The goal is understanding how the field is likely to build, then finding your edge relative to that.Read the full definition of Ownership, it looks like three in a tier of their own in terms of getting ownership. Probably that's where I want to stay for Cash. Titans $2,600 gets to Sean Watson at home. The Jets at home against the Dolphins. $2,900. The Texans at home against the Giants at $3,400 against McCarthy. All of them very much in play. All solid. Usually I try and save a little bit at defense.

7:12

So maybe Titans right now. Again, no, no hard lean Buccaneers. I don't think it's the worst play if you just want to almost fully punt it. But finding four hundred would feel pretty good to get to the Titans. Let's go over to FanDuel. Pretty similar. Again, I think there's a couple more clear decisions. Quarterback, like Jordan Love, $7,600. Bo Nix is only $7,200, four hundred difference on DK or four hundred difference on FanDuel, $1,000 on DraftKings.

7:39

Like I'm playing Jordan Love. There's no reason, in my opinion. Sorting by ProjectionsDFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for an upcoming slate using expected opportunities, performance and the contest's scoring rules. Do not assume two sites offer identical slates just because both call them the main slate.Read the full definition of Slate and only $7,600. Fire up Jordan Love on FanDuel. That's what I plan on doing. Running back a little different as well. You can see McCaffrey eight seven Gibbs nine eight. So only eleven hundred difference, excuse me, on FanDuel. Man, sorry. Eleven hundred difference on FanDuel. I will prioritize Jameer Gibbs on FanDuel.

8:06

Again, more touchdown upside. He can just do it all. It's an easy natural hedge. McCaffrey on DraftKings. Jameer Gibbs on FanDuel. After that, I think it's a pretty similar Player PoolA player pool is the set of players you consider using in your DFS lineups for a slate, the games or events included in a contest. The term can also mean everyone available to select in that contest.Keep a replacement beside each uncertain player, noting the salary and position you need. Recheck those alternatives when news changes so your shortlist still produces usable lineups.Read the full definition of Player Pool. You are playing three running backs like usual. You can go Gibbs and McCaffrey. Again, when you are sacrificing some other positions. There's some mid-tier cheapy guys, though, like a Kyron Williams in the mid-tier position. Trouba Hubbard in the mid-tier. And then for savings, Braylon Allen, Woods Marks, Tony Pollard.

8:34

Very similar story for DraftKings to FanDuel. Besides, McCaffrey is more of a priority on DraftKings, Gibbs on FanDuel for me. But the secondary guys are the same type of guys. It depends if you have the money for Kyron, if you need more savings off of Allen, or to Braylon Allen, to Woods, etc. But you are playing three running backs on FanDuel like usual. Wide receiver, pretty similar player pool, also pretty difficult. Puka, I would love to get him in Cash GameA cash game is a contest that pays a large share of the field, usually close to half, the same flat prize. 9:02

But, yeah, you have to make a priority. If you're playing Kyra, you're not playing Puka. If you're playing Puka, you're probably punting to the Pollard Allen of the world, Woods Marks. Other guys, though, Golden and Coker, again, both look too cheap. Five hundred difference. You get savings for Coker on FanDuel. So I'd probably prefer Golden DK, Coker, FanDuel. Very well could end up with both of them on both sites, though. Tets got a good price at seven one.

9:27

Watson solid price at seven, four, but I don't know. It'd be close for me to deciding between like Watson or find four hundred for Zay or London or five, four hundred savings for T. Higgins. I do think it's it's definitely in question for not playing Puka, London, Zay, T. Higgins, Christian Watson, all very much in play. Tet as well. Coker Golden are the ones that stand out the most outside of Puka. Big Buka at $6,000 looks solid.

9:52

Carnell Tate at $5,800 looks solid. Concepcion $5,600. Maybe it is pretty tough, though. Right now, probably getting Coker and Golden is my plan. Defense or defense tight end. Easy. I'm playing George Kittle at $6,500. Just way too cheap. Yeah, I don't see myself really going anywhere else. I guess I should say Tyler Higbee.

10:14

Has to be in play at $4,900 to that sixteen hundred will go long enough if you do want to jam and puka Kyron or something like that. You probably need the savings for Higbee. So similar talk on DraftKings and FanDuel, Kittle or Higbee. Defense, even easier on FanDuel. Two hundred off of the stone minimum.
