As you wrestle with building a winning DFS process, this will help…
Dear DFS Player,
Picture two DFS players.
Player A wakes up every slate day anxious. They’re grinding content, checking projections, and flipping between sports and contest types, but nothing seems to stick.
They have flashes of success, but no consistency. They chase last week’s results. They load too much into contests that don’t fit their strengths.
And they’re constantly second-guessing themselves when lock hits.
There’s no long-term edge. Just spinning wheels.
Player B, on the other hand, opens their DFS app with confidence.
They know which contests they’re playing and why. Their process is locked in. Their lineups are built with intention—not panic. They’re not glued to every piece of content; they’ve created a system that works for them.
What’s the difference between the two?
It’s not who has the better model…
It’s not who follows more touts…
It’s not even who’s working harder.
It’s how they approach the game.
DFS Mastermind: Your “Invisible Edge”
You see, the way you think about DFS—your process, contest selection, lineup construction, and review—is your hidden edge.
If you’re going to break through in DFS, it won’t be because of one magical pick. It’ll be because you finally stopped playing like Player A… and started building like Player B.
Most players never realize this. They just do what others are doing:
It’s always more.
But more without structure just leads to burnout—and a bankroll that never grows.
The alternative?
A DFS approach that’s tailored to your edge, your style, and your goals:
That’s what DFS Mastermind gives you.
Is Your DFS Process Holding You Back?
If your DFS process isn’t dialed in, you’re setting a hard cap on your upside.
Trying to win GPPs with a broken or scattered approach leads to one of two things:
(And usually, it’s both.)
Your DFS process determines:
If your process isn’t aligned, it’s like driving with the handbrake on. You might hit a heater now and then—but you’re not going to build anything sustainable.
Maybe you’re playing too many sports and mastering none.
Maybe you’re copying content instead of building your own edge.
Or maybe you’re getting close—but you don’t know how to fix the leaks.
Whatever the case, this is your turning point.

Tyler Tamboline aka ToeTagginTambo
Many DFS content creators are asked for their picks and plays but my emails and DMs are full of questions about process, strategy, game theory, correlation, leverage etc.
I’m Tyler Tamboline aka ToeTagginTambo. I’ve been playing DFS since 2014, focusing mainly on PGA/NFL and some of the other sports. I started in the DFS content space in 2018 and have worked at many sites around the industry, picking up knowledge and experience along the way. I’ve also been featured on some main podcasts/shows around the industry, such as the Fantasy Golf Degenerates podcast for 5+ years, to go along with weekly shows talking PGA/NFL with Pat Mayo. The process and strategy tips and game theory advice on these shows have helped people win life-changing money along the way.
I’ve also done pretty well for myself playing the game!
Some of my biggest personal results with DFS have come from qualifying for Live Finals, including DraftKings King of the Beach where I’ve finished 3rd (2017), 2nd (2021) and 6th (2022) for winnings of over $250K+ in just those events.
I’ve also won $100K+ 8 times and have had many more $50K+ wins throughout my journey playing DFS.
Teaching DFS process/strategy, along with coaching, training and developing others to find success with DFS are my biggest passions!
See some of my big wins/close calls below!
