If you’ve been around the DFS world for any length of time, chances are you crossed paths with James. With his sharp takes, contagious energy, or the genuine way he connected with people.
Growing the DFS industry and including everyone (even the guy in the back) was his true passion. He was community-driven, unfiltered, and always real.
His worst fear was letting everyone down, and even during the worst of days he would grin and bear it to keep that promise to himself.
We miss his passion. His grit. His positivity, energy, and jokes. The nicknames. The one-liners. The way he made everyone feel welcome, like they belonged at the table.
James was all about bringing people together. On August 21st, 2026 we’re doing exactly that.
